Established in 1993.
Larry McKeever and Doug Niekamp established McKeever & Niekamp Electric in 1993 in Dayton, OH. After several years, as a small family owned full service residential and light commercial contractor, we decided to concentrate all energy on serving our commercial customers. With a reputation of quality workmanship and competitive pricing, we quickly grew large enough to handle almost any size commercial project. To better serve our valued clients throughout Central Ohio, we added an additional office/warehouse space near downtown Columbus. Today McKeever & Niekamp Electric employs teams of electricians in both the Dayton and Columbus markets. While we have several office staff, project managers, team leaders, and approximately 30 field electricians, Larry & Doug continue to have a hands on approach to all aspects of the Company. It is this approach that assures our customers that their project will receive the attention it deserves.

I've been in the electrical industry since 2006 when I started as an apprentice. I quickly proved myself and within a year, I was running projects. I then took over the service department for a few years and became responsible for managing complex electrical projects while keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.

After that, I was promoted to a Project Manager/Estimator position where I managed budgets, timelines, and personnel. In this role, I consistently delivered high-quality results while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Recently, I started the residential division which shows my entrepreneurial spirit and passion for growing the business. Throughout my career, I have always prioritized customer satisfaction over profits, and this approach has earned me a reputation as a dependable and trustworthy electrical professional.
