Established in 1999.
Killeen Plumbing started with its owner Quinn Killeen as the only employee. He has steadily grown Killeen Plumbing over the years with strong word of mouth from providing quality craftsmanship, reasonable cost, excellent customer service and honesty.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Quinn has been in plumbing for nearly 25 years, starting when he was only 13 as a laborer. He ran a large franchise for several years and left to start a company based on honestly and quality, where the focus was on keeping customers for years not just getting the phone to ring. Quinn is married and has 4 children 2 dogs and an array of extended family in the area. He gets little down time but when he can he coaches and plays soccer, likes to hike and fish and relax at home with his family.

My bathroom was all plugged up -- toilet, bath, sink -- to main line, which was still clear. I called another plumber who could come out on a Saturday and he attempted to clear it. No luck. Snake could not make enough turns. They would have run a camera from the street, but couldn't find the clean out in the front yard. On Monday, the city (BV) came out and identified where the clean out was. Plumber returned and put a camera in from the front yard, but could not determine anything. They concluded that the pipe was broken under the basement floor and the next step was to break up the concrete basement floor and do a repair. I called Killeen's in Westlake who explained why First plumbers snake got stuck and proposed a simpler solution. Cut the pipe ABOVE the basement floor, snake from there and install a clean out for future use. Brilliant! Clean and running free now!Found out that breaking up the floor would not have been done at the right spot! Killeens had newer, better equipment that worked!

Do not trust this company. They came to my house three times to fix the sump pump and each time they charged me anywhere from $300-$500. It ended up costing me nearly $1300 to fix it and they gave me attitude when I questioned their service after the second time they tried to fix my sump pump. They over charged me the last time by $140 and when I called the manager just hung up on me. Very unprofessional and no customer service. They will rip you off if you use them.

We called for a plumber this morning, expecting to wait at least a couple of days for service. Theo, in the office was extremely pleasant to deal with and helpful in Getting a plumber out to us today. Our plumber, Nick, gave us a few suggestions and we opted to have him install a new toilet. He was in and out of here quickly and efficiently, the new toilet looks and works great. Couldn't ask for better service. Thanks ever so much.

We had sewer problems. We had 3 other plumbers come out and they all kept saying it was a city issue. The city came out and camera the sewer on their side and said no it is definitely on your property.
We had another company telling us they would come to take care of the issue and after 5 days the said they couldn't get a permit because their certification was not up to date. This was almost 2 weeks with out being able to use water in our home.
So we called Killeen Plumbing and they came the next morning and later in the afternoon they started digging and found that our sewer line was collapsing. They worked till 8:00 PM because the said they would make sure we could use the water and facilities in our home. And they did an Awesome job.
I would highly recommend that you call this company. The crew that work at our home were hard working and didn't stop till twe were able to use our water and facilities in our home.

I found that my hot water tank was leaking in the middle of the day. I called Killeen Plumbing and was able to have the tank replaced that afternoon. The 2 men that came out were professional and worked quickly getting the new tank in place in about an hour. Totally satisfied with the work which matched the estimate I was given over the phone.

We received estimates from 5 other companies, all ranging from $5k-8k, before we contacted Killeen, and I'm so grateful we waited and went with them. The same day that they came for the estimate they suggested to try a much less expensive fix that they could implement same day, before having us travel down the road of more expensive options. Three hours later and less than $400 later, our issue is fixed and I am not spending thousands of dollars that all 5 other companies told me I'd need to spend. So thankful for the Killeen guys, their high quality work, and their honest, ethical approach. I had no idea honest plumbers were so hard to come by. I will contact them first with any issues moving forward.

I called on a Friday morning b/c my bathtub/shower would not drain. I had standing water in my tub. They couldn't come out that same day but came out as scheduled on the next day - Saturday. They were there right at 9:00 when my window was 9:00 to 11:00. It took them less than 20 minutes to clear the clog and also cleared out the bathroom sink which had been incredibly slow for a few weeks. I am very satisfied with their ability to get out quickly and solve my problem - mind you for $200 less than someone who offered to do it as a side job but couldn't get out as quickly. I highly recommend them.

We had a significant issue with our kitchen sink draining. Two service technicians from Killeen Plumbing Company came to my house in Rocky River, assessed the situation and snaked the sink from multiple connection points. They spent time with me trying to understand the plumbing problem, discussing our options and working to unclog the drain. I felt part of the team and recommend them for your plumbing repair.

Since we're currently renters of our new, glorious home in Ohio City we don't really get to pick who the owners call for first world problems, like leaking water heaters.

Regardless, our landlords are not only super-awesome, but really smart because they called some pretty efficient plumbers to come out and help us.

Now, I don't know much about plumbers, but these guys showed up fast and fixed the problem fast. You can't for more than that. Well, maybe a good price, too. But these guys were nice, listened to the problem and even played with my pup! Yes, these plumbers didn't seem to mind that every time then bent over to look at the water heater, Archie licked their faces.

They were finished with the job within 20 minutes and I got to move on with my day without much interruption. Wee! That's what his home-working gal likes to hear! Oh, and they didn't make me wait around all day, either. They siad they'd be here between 1-3pm and I got a call at 12:30pm letting me know they were on their way.

Recently purchased a new home and found out their were some plumbing/storm drain issues that we weren't aware of. Almost all our drainage tiles were routed to the sewer instead of the storm drain. We also had a very sluggish kitchen drain and a sump possibly forty years old or there about. The sewer excavation team came in and in a little less than 3 days. Replaced the tiles and rerouted the storm drains, replaced the sump and cleared the drain! So happy and pleased with the work. Did I say that they also cleaned up after themselves? Amazing team!

Had Killeen Plumbing complete my lateral sewer separation that is required by the City of Avon Lake. The gentleman that came out to give an estimate was very personable and I could tell he has a good relationship with the city water department. About two weeks later, my project was underway and the project lead was the same man who gave the estimate, not a salesman. Bonus points. The crew came out about 8am and they were finished with the excavation, separation in the yard, installed a new sump pump and connected to the waste water line, lead new drains in the backyard for the sump pump, filled in the front yard again, and hauled excess dirt away by 2pm. The crew was professional, answered any questions I had and they were tidy. The actual work footprint in my yard is pretty minimal compared to some of my neighbors using other companies. My only constructive feedback for Killeen is to communicate a little better with the project start date & times, as I was told just about 5 days beforehand that the crew would start between 9-11am and they were there before 8am. In the long run, I went from very stressed to very pleased in just a few hours. Highly recommend Killeen for their professionalism and workmanship.

I may come back and up this to 5 stars soon, but as of now, it's not been long enough for me to really judge the quality of work just yet. (As in, will this problem that has been plaguing my condo come back or did they really completely fix it? I am suspicious due to past experiences with the previous plumber... but I digress.) That said though, even if the work turns out to not have been perfect, the service alone gets them 4 stars.

Every interaction with every person from Killeen has been pleasant and friendly. They came when they said they would, they called to confirm before they arrived, and did exactly as I'd asked them to in calling me before actual work was done (I won't lie - I needed to make sure I could afford it!). The only thing that could have gone better was if they'd told me they'd do the work for free. And since that's probably never going to be a thing... I'm just as happy with them as I can be, having to pay someone to fix crappy pipes that I keep having to pay someone to fix.

Their prices are in the same range as all the other plumbers I've worked with, and as I said, as of yet I can't definitively say much about the quality. But having dealt with a particularly nasty company for the last year or so, dealing with Killeen has been such a breath of fresh air, I would happily recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services in the area.

Killeen visited my house on Sept 13, 2016 to replace two cartridges in my master bath. A simple job, but the techs could not do it as the inner sleeves were stuck. They said they would have to order parts and would be back in two weeks. After a month I called the shop and were told that the parts had not arrived. I called two more times and was told not to call, that they would call me when the parts came in. Its now the end of March, 2017.They charged me $34.32 for parts that I did not receive and $88 in labor (Invoice #45270). My faucet still drips.

Took them a week to just come out to look at place for estimate. Now it's 2weeks, still don't have estimate. Meanwhile, hired a plumber and they're half way done!? Don't hire them! Too slow

I scheduled an appointment for them to come and replace a bathtub drain. Told them exactly what I needed done. They gave me a 2 hour time frame (2:00pm-4:00and I waited for the guy to show up. Since he came at the later end of the time frame (after 3:00pm), he did not have enough time to do the job. So he gave me an estimate and said I needed to call the office and schedule the time for another day. I called the office and requested the first appointment of the day. They gave me a slot of 9:00am-11:00am two days later. At 9:40 they called and said he was on his way. I waited an hour, called them back and they said he would be right there. At 11:00 I decided I had enough of this company and called them back to cancel. They apologized but said the plumber had to make a few stops before he came that they had forgotten about. Meanwhile I sat waiting. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! Will NEVER call this company back again.

Called Killeen Plumbing 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon regarding a mishap with a pair of glasses being flushed down a toilet. Terry arrived within the hour and was kind, polite, conscientious and went above and beyond just getting those glasses dislodged from the pipe. We just used their service and they were so responsive. It wasn't an emergency, but when I called on Wednesday they confirmed the date and time today(Friday) I received a phone call before they arrived. The two workers (Pete and Dan) explained the situation clearly and made sure I was comfortable with the next steps. Our kitchen drain was a little more blocked than we thought.

I work from home and was on two conference calls during the time they were in my home. They were clean, efficient, quiet, and respectful. I would highly recommend them! Pete and Dan, you set the bar very high! Thank you.

On Oct 29 2021 we calleed Kalleen Plumbing as our gutter drain was clogged. The sump pump also is tied into it. They were worried that with the up and coming rain It would come back up the tube & flood around our foundation. They made arangements to send a plumber (Peter) out on Saturday Oct 2 to clean the drain for the gutters & sump. Unfortunately the corrugated line was totally plugged & unable to be clean out. Peter temporarily dug out around the line to re-route the sump onto the grass so as to protect our foundation. He then provided alternate solutions & costs. We told him that we would get back to Kalleen on Monday with which route we will take. Peter was very courteous, kind & professional. WOW. He is an outstanding young man. We were lucky to find such an honest company to do business with. They are luck to have Peter working for them. He represents the company very well. We made our decision on Monday. They scheduled him & Dan out for Thurs. a.m. The job was completed in a shorter time than quoted. We are really really pleased. They left the job very clean. The work looks GREAT. We will definitely use them again in the future when the need arises.
