Our company specializes in small to larger home repairs and improvements. We are state of Ohio licensed Electrical, Plumbing, & HVAC contractors (OH Lic.# 44764 EL,PL,HV). We are also state of Ohio certified Backflow tester #6028, and are DOT OQ certified #KZ55-05C288-17 for gasline/gaspipe work. Our EPA Lead-Safe certification has just been renewed and is now EPA # NAT-27674-2. We are CAPS & CGP (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists & Certified Green Professionals) via the NAHB. Our NARI Membership number is Contractor #OH00413. We do every sort of licensed mechanical repair work, as well as most anything to keep any property code-compliant, and in great condition.

HISTORY

Established in 1991.
We have been working, advising, consulting, and teaching in the Cleveland, Ohio area for over 27 years. With family in both Plumbing and Electrical businesses, this type of work has been our lives even before our own family operated business was formally registered in 1991. We are the best at what we do, and we do it all for any home or commercial building. Generations of skill and expertise are behind our work ethic every day. We understand the interaction of the systems within a property like no other individual trade contracting company or handyman service because we are one of the very few companies that have every license, registration, and affiliation to prove our commitment to our clients needs.

I cannot in good faith give this place a good review. After a phone exchange they asked me to email my inspection report. They never called me back, I sent them multiple emails and called multiple times. I always got voicemail and I never heard from them again. I liked their name and that they are locally owned. It's a shame.

EDIT: The company finally reached out to me to respond to my REVIEW and not any of the work I needed done when I originally reached out to them (that was in early May). The email was hostile and unprofessional, sent at 11:48pm. Had the company reached out to me in a courteous or professional manner, and explained to me what had happened, then I would consider removing or changing my review. While I am sorry to hear about the passing of a family member/team member, it is not an excuse to wish bad karma on someone simply for leaving an honest review.

As mentioned in my original review, while we never had SERVICES performed by this company, we still interacted with them on a professional basis. Customer service is apart of business just as much as services are. There is no reason to reach out to someone who left an honest review of their customer service and tell them, I am so happy we did not continue on to consider you as a client..

Called, talked to wife, very pleasant.
I had a house full of work, electrical, plumbing etc. Man and son arrived, looked at one of the projects. They were polite, but they never sent an
estimate. I called one more time, no response.
it was election time, perhaps they did not like my politics.

Highly recommend Homework -- have used them many times (hot water tank replacement, electrical work throughout our house, carpentry, furnace repair, handyman work, etc.). They are always prompt and friendly. Like that one phone number is all I need to get any of these kinds of projects done at my house. Fairly priced, high quality services. I feel good knowing they are licensed so I know my work is done properly. Great customer service!

Called Homework to resolve an electrical issue in my bathroom. Even though it was a holiday, Laura returned my call promptly and offered some troubleshooting tips before setting up the appointment. Jim was able to come to the house the same day and resolved the issue quickly. They were courteous and easy to work with.
