I called for service yesterday as my AC thermostat gave me an error.  I was pleasantly surprised that they sent me a technician first thing the next day.  Roger Cuadra was the technician, he was right on time, very professional and knows his stuff.  Took care of everything, replaced the filters on both units and cleaned out my units also as a courtesy.  Best HVAC service experience.  Definitely recommend them and excellent technician.

Wow! No other way to say it! The customer service is awesome. Ladies if you are in need of information and need help with your AC or heating, call and ask for Sal Salcedo.  I had no knowledge about units, didn't know what I needed or if I could trust not being taken advantage of in an upsell, but Sal came to my home, I immediately felt comfortable because he had solid product knowledge. His experience in the industry and his PASSION with his work spoke volumes about his character. He talked in layman's terms and explained my options and assured me he was giving me the same help he would his own mother. Sal was there for me through the entire process of installation, financing, and after care. He is now a person I can call friend. So if you are hesitant about calling for your ac unit, don't worry, ask for Sal and you will be so happy you did!

Update: we had a larger than necessary vent in our dining area that was replaced with the correct size. The gentleman that came out to patch the area was just as respectful and nice as the other guys that installed the HVAC. The patch looks great and was done quickly.

Our salesman Zach N. was very informative and helpful in answering mine and my husband's questions. Daniel and his team were very prompt and efficient installing our A/C and furnace. We went with this company due to the lifetime warranty they offer as well as their protection plan. Very happy with our purchase!! 5 ton, 16 SEER $13,000 something financed. The installers did make a bit of damage to the entrance of the attic where the furnace is located, but we were promised repairs would be made. We've had our system for only 5 days (works wonderful), but are still waiting for the repair to be made.

Although I had a rough start with this company, they turned it around and made it right. Our A/C unit is wonderful and the installers were professional, friendly and very informative. I appreciate this kind of service at a time when the world seems to ignore what good service means...

They were clean, quick, Went above and beyond in all ways. I really can't stress how good the experience turned out to be.

A HUGE thanks to Isiahs & Sergio, these guys are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone for any kind of HVAC service.  Also, Zac was communicative at every step of the install and made sure I was satisfied.

I usually vote for bad service with my Feet.... But sometimes (rarely for me) I have to write a bad review... I don't like...writing them....but in some cases I must warn others.....

My husband talked to the scheduler at NextGen on Friday morning 12/30/22.... She said they would not be working over the weekend but would schedule us for service on Monday 1/2/23 between 1pm -2pm.....we waited all weekend.....believing they would show up on Monday... stressful weekend with only use of one restroom....but we THOUGHT it would be taken care of by Monday...
On Monday am my husband gets a text verifying the time between 1-2pm....is this still a good time....another text asking if the tech finishes early can they come to our home earlier than scheduled....the answer is Yes...

Then we wait... and we wait...at 2pm No show No call... my husband calls the office and they say OH sorry the tech got hung up at his last call....(don't bother telling the customer No call ) Wow nice service....
The actual plumber called my husband at 3:25pm to say he was in Manhattan beach and it would take him at least another 1 1/2 to drive to us ....
What?? Who schedules like that???

I think this company is so big now... they are used to big jobs.... the little guy doesn't mean much.... Which is okay by me ...But  don't schedule people and leave them
hanging.....

After the tech called to inform us of his location......I was so done with them, so I Yelped out to other plumbers for a quote .... Within minutes I get a response from No Limit Sewer Solutions.
They said they could come by then and gave us a fantastic rate....

My recommendation is DO NOT use this company for small jobs... they're clearly not interested.....

A while back, a neighbor of mine was in the market for a new HVAC unit and in passing by, I recommend NexGen since I've noticed their advertising at Angel Stadium and their website looks like they are big on community and very family oriented. My neighbor ended up buying a unit and sometime way later, I was told by NexGen that I was eligible for an incentive of $250.00 Visa gift card for the referral. I was first told by representative Marsha that someone from accounting would reach out to me to get my info. and send me the gift card. That was over a month ago and still no call from accounting. I've spoken to three other representatives (Marelina, Rebecca and Amanda) about this and the latest was I would be getting a call yesterday 6/20 from accounting. Unfortunately I did not get that call. It's been a very disappointing experience with this type of runaround. In reading other reviews, it seems that NexGen has a history of lack of customer service even when customers do purchase HVAC units. I live in a newer community (15 years old) and I'm seeing a handful of neighbors that are needing to replace their HVAC units and I will not be recommending NexGen anymore to my neighbors or my fellow HOA board members.

I was contacted by Beatriz in accounting and was very apologetic with my experience and owned the fact that this should not have happened and my referral would be honored. I also received a call from Zach and he was kind in following up as well. In the end, NexGen was fantastic in making things right. Thank you!!

I have a update to my experience with NexGen. After my review, I got a message from a business manager asking me to contact him after talking to the manager and telling him my experience with his company he offered to give me some of the money back. I do appreciate the call back, but it's sad that it took a bad review to get someone from the company to contact me. The manager assured me that he was going to talk to his team and hopefully this will not happen again. Unfortunately, my experience with this company still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The only thing I can say is if you have a bad experience with a company leave a review on them because sometimes that will make the difference it did in my case. Also, in my opinion, a field supervisor should not be working on commission or a bonus because he's not gonna give you all of the options he's only gonna give you the highest option. I learned that the hard way thank you and I hope this review helps.

Would highly recommend for HVAC. Great customer service. Knowledgeable techs and sales team. Reasonable and flexible on price.

We had two rooms in our house not getting cold air. They diagnosed it as the old original duct system going bad, and poorly designed to begin with. They replaced it next-day, great service.

I am removing one star because ultimately one room still doesn't really get cold. They did come out and try to re-tune the new dampers, but it still didn't fix it. They offered to add another duct run for added cost but we ran out of budget so we will have to live with it I guess. A little bummed since the whole house got a new duct system and it didn't 100% fix one of the two problem rooms, but overall NexGen was great to do business with and I would recommend them.

Jacob came by and took care of an issue that we had with a broken pipe due to the roofers working on our home. He was very friendly, and even completed the job and included it in the warranty, even though Nexgen was not at fault. I've been very happy with the service that we've received from Nexgen.

I had a technician George Guido come out to check out A/C and he was truly amazing. He was very attentive to my needs and was very professional. Besides that, he did everything in his power to get me the best pricing to where we could afford the repairs and got us a very good deal. I surely recommend Nexgen to everyone but over that, I sincerely give all props to George. Thank you George if you ever read this. It really meant a lot to me and God bless you.

I called to Nexgen at noon, and Benny arrived around 2 PM the same day.  He explained what he was doing as he worked, I really like that. Benny had our central AC and heating system up and running in no time, and the price was very fair.  I recommend Nexgen, and will be calling them whenever we need heating or air conditioning services.

Our NextGen tech was Roger C. Not only was Roger friendly & courteous, he was extremely knowledgeable! We had our central AC & heat installed 3 years ago and have not had any problems since installation. We are happy with all the work we had done in our home but even happier that we chose NextGen for our projects! Roger provided exceptional customer service! The team was very responsive with their messaging on Yelp. They also do several follow-up calls/texts for appointment and service confirmation. Thus far, the customer service has been great!

As for the service, I signed-up for the special HVAC inspection and basic maintenance package. Carlos visited my home on 9/27/21. He called prior to arrival and gave me an arrival window, to which he showed up right on time.

He explained everything that he was doing and took multiple pictures and video of my units in the attic. He showed me exactly what he was doing, what he was looking at, and why he made the assessments that he made. The whole process was very transparent and I felt confident that what he was telling me was based on sound troubleshooting and technical acumen.

I knew my units were old, and I knew that they haven't been serviced since I purchased the home about a year ago, so I knew I was in for a treat. Thankfully, they both operate and they show no leaks. Carlos did a great job with servicing what he could during this visit. I made another appointment for this weekend for him and his supervisor Tim to come out and talk about refurbishing, servicing, and replacement options.

I have appreciated their honesty and transparency and will definitely be dealing with them for my future needs.

Had issues with NexGen a couple of years ago. This time around had an outdoor faucet, that was placed by the company, from the stucco of the wall that was loose. Called for appt. My one year labor warranty had expired, however, the faucet was properly secured at no cost. Stucco had to be broken into in order to get to pipe. Jair, the tech who came out, did mention that the faucet shouldn't be moving from side to side. While
he was securing the pipe he pushed hard to get nails in to wood to hold the pipe in place causing the inside drywall to crack and chip. Showed him what happened and he denied he did that. Well it sure wasn't cracked before he started working on the wall. I asked him if someone was going to come to patched the stucco and he said he was going to do it. Left it sloppy and not flushed with the wall like the previous job, just gobs of whatever material he used slapped on. I asked him if he could make it look more like the wall and he said no he just patched it.  He wanted me to sign a form that said I was satisfied with the work and I told him I wouldn't sign and he asked why and I told him because the wall was not done right. He wished me a good day and left. He may have been having a bad day or he just dislikes his job but he was very unprofessional. I didn't call the company because honestly I do not want to deal with NexGen again. And please NexGen don't try contacting me to make it right.  I've had plenty of unpleasantries with NexGen. I hope whoever uses them has better luck than  I did.

Our air conditioner system was having many issues and we sought them out after hearing they're one of the best. The installers were professional and very knowledgeable. Technician Axel, was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. He answered all the questions I had specially being a new home owner and having a bunch of questions regarding he A/C unit. He also installed and set up my smart thermostat while guiding me on how to use it. I would recommend Nexgen air for any A/C services as well as Axel as he's really knowledgeable and explains everything with details.

Great responsiveness when I reached out for a quote to replace a PRV. They required an onsite visit to provide an estimate, which is annoying, but understandable. They quoted $1,569.99 as a list price, but said they could discount it to $1,403.62 for some reason. I instead had the service done for $750 by a different plumbing company. (It's a ~$500 part, and usually 30-60 minutes of work to swap it out).

I can't speak to the quality of the work; but their pricing would not have me calling them again unless no one else answered.

Excellent. We don't like to make fast decisions. We paid Carlos for the trip to diagnose. We took his counsel to replace and not repair our 17 year old a/c unit. We wanted to repair one but both were equally hold and the fuses were looked at by Carlos, as well as the motor - short of it, we could waste putting more money into a repair or change our mindset to a replacement. Not what we were thinking or financially prepared for so we said, we'll take a look at our abilities and go from there in a few days or a week, before summer heat peaks. Well, Carlos returned, and showed excellent and remarkable service above and beyond what we paid for. Carlos hooked us up like family and made my elderly folks feel at home in their home with the deal to replace both ac units for $16K at no interest for a year. Is there cheaper elsewhere? Sure. But we pay for brand new, lifetime warranty, American made units, at 16 SEER, and an installation with customer service that skeptical people like my mom feel at ease to put that kind of money down to trust - Basically, we don't want to pay for a shortcut and get a shortcut. Multiple tenants/owners before us had apparently tampered with our ac units, 17 years later, we're the ones to upgrade, but we're happy to with someone like Carlos and NexGen HVAC & Plumbing. The home improvement finance company that was used for our 1 year no interest plan, was Good Leap. If you can afford it, over the year, we sincerely recommend a man like Carlos and his company NexGen. We also appreciate Tim, his field supervisor. It's scary because you may get scammed with home improvement projects - and trust us, we have before on another home improvement project with another cheaper unlicensed business, but we've learned and that's why we go with the licensed company and quality products with outstanding customer service. Oh and they're closed on Sundays for God and family time. As a pastor's family, even though we rest on the 7th day, we're all about that faithful business pace for God and family. 5/5 Star Review

Pros: Not salesy or pushy; prompt; installers were diligent; great warranty and financing options; they will obtain permits for you
Cons: My wife will probably spend more time with our garage gym than with me now.

Where do I begin. My wife and I needed a mini-split for our garage since we have a garage gym and my wife has been nagging, err, I mean advising me that the hot summer will be coming and we needed a mini-split AC for our garage although I would have been OK with 3 tower fans but that is neither here nor there, so we made an inquiry on Yelp. Within an hour we received a response and a meeting for an estimate the next day. When Chris Nanney from NexGen came out for the estimate, he was knowledgeable about which unit was appropriate for our space and even though he had showed me all available mini-split units (even some that were priced at the cost of a used Toyota Camry), he didn't push me on their most expensive unit but was very transparent in the unit that met our requirements and our budget. One thing that I noticed from Chris that stuck with me was when he said, Even if you don't go with us and you choose another installer, I just want you to make the most informed decision, and then proceeded to educate me on obtaining permits and the available rebates my electric company has to offer as well as the know how of how a mini-split works. It's true when they say, Welcome to the NexGen family, they try to treat you as if you were family and it shows on the culture they are building especially with Chris. It was a breath of fresh air not feeling cornered into a purchase!

I then proceeded to go with NexGen just based on first impressions with Chris and the peace of mind that the install will be done the right way. I signed the paperwork, and they came out the next day for the install! They move pretty fast! The technicians, Victor Vides and Jose Pargas, came out on a rainy day and installed my unit, ran full diagnostic to ensure my unit was working at maximum capacity, and showed me how to operate my unit and made sure all my questions were answered before leaving! Just watching Jose and Victor work, they were very diligent and placed drop cloths down, shop-vac'd, wore shoe booties, and were mindful of my property which has been lost with other contractors I have hired in the past.

All-in-all, it was a 5 star experience from start to finish and now my wife is happy that we won't have to stock up on prescription strength deodorant again to work out in our garage! Thanks Chris, Victor, and Jose from NexGen!

Omg! Great service! And in the nick of time! From the initial contact and quote, to speedy scheduling, on down to the appointment, it was seamless & top-notch! Our technician Tim Eagleson was very nice and knowledgeable and prompt. We requested a quote on Friday, he came to our house on Saturday and on Monday our Air Conditioning Unit was installed on our roof and then the workers will be returning the next day to finish the duct work.  This company is awesome, the workers/installers were great, they were polite, kept their area clean and followed Covid guidelines. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

It was 10pm the night before when I made an appointment with NexGen and they had David at my door by 10am.  David De La Rosa,and Carlos Acevedo were extremely professional, polite, honest, very helpful , answered all our questions that I had. Both David and Carlos went out of their way to get hot water back in my house in no time. Carlos did a detail inspection of our furness. They both explained the cause of our problems and the why, most importantly.

I will definitely call NexGen for any of my plumbing, AC/ Heating Issues.

I highly recommend NexGen for both your AC and plumbing needs! I am quite pleased with their services. I originally called this company for two faucet leaks and a tankless water heater flush. I ended up purchasing a package deal where this company will service your AC, Water Heater, and Furnace (in the winter) for an incredible deal! It also includes air filters.
Pedro serviced my AC and Clemente took care of all my plumbing needs. They both wore masks and took care to keep my house clean. They both explained the process they went through and why each step was important. Lastly, the company has excellent prices! I had a few  estimates for the plumbing needs and Nexgen beat them all!

Needed our A/C serviced. Called and they came out in a couple of days. Robert Ramos was our service guy. He called to let know he was on his way actually made the time that I had the appointment for. Robert went above and beyond. System seemed to work better immediately. Was honest about our system and what to expect in the future. Gave us different prices and options to prolong the life of our system. Very honest, definitely will be using again

It's been almost one week with our new air conditioning system and it's been amazing. Randi Carbajal provided excellent customer service. I would highly recommend NEXGEN for all your AC needs. I was able to make an appointment for the next day to have them come look  at the AC unit and do a tune up. The technician, Pedro Ortega was professional, clean, and well mannered. He took pictures and walked with me step by step through the process and what he would be working on. The work was completed within the hour. I received the report of everything he did shortly after. Thank you Pedro Ortega for your professionalism and honesty.

Peter and Kevin really put in the extra effort you should be able to expect from a professional!

About 2 months ago, my kitchen sink backed up and I called some guy I found online.  He came out and worked on the line for about an hour and got the flow going.  Not 2 weeks later, the same issue happened again.  I told him what was up and he was more then happy to come back out, but wanted to charge me another $300 to hydro-jet again!  We negotiated and settled on a price and he got to work.  He spent 2 hours at it this time and once again told me that, in his professional opinion, the line was clear.

About a month later, kitchen sink would not drain again, and this time I called Nexgen.  They sent Peter and Kevin out and the cost was a bit more than plumber X, but the difference in experience and service was night and day.  

These guys showed up ON TIME and worked the lines for 7 HOURS!  They even used a camera to see what was going on in the pipes (why didn't the first guy do that?) and that is when we saw just how bad my pipes were.

While they couldn't get the line cleared, it was definitely not for lack of effort on their part, and they will be back Tuesday with different equipment and I'm confident they will get the job done this time.

Great place for your heating and air condition needs.  

Their technician, Roger Cuadra came out today to perform a semi-annual check up on my AC system.   He was very professional.  Showed up ON TIME, in an uniform that was neat and clean.   Roger also spoke very professionally and knew exactly what he was doing.  Performed the tune up on my AC system quickly and efficiently and even fixed a wire in my Nest thermostat that was causing issues with my heating.

Last year, our AC broke down and the tech, who's name I don't remember, was also professional and did an excellent job taking care of our issue.    Seems professionalism and high quality of service are very consistent with Nexgen!

I purchased a home and moved in last week and called this company for service and tune up on dual AC systems and heating systems. The service tech was Edwin. When I met him he was extremely polite covid friendly and very likable and even more so knowledgeable he fully explained everything to me and showed me all the pictures a mechanical readings of my systems he gave me recommendations and fully explained what work I decided to get done he got everything done that I asked for and worked seven hard hours he did a fantastic job and I don't think I could find a better technician out there I highly recommend this company and even more so recommend Edwin to be your service consultant if you are the owner or management of this company Edwin is valuable asset as an employee of your company thanks again Edwin

I called for a service appointment and Nexgen was professional from the time I called to the time they completed the job.  Noah and Morgan were the service technicians and they called me 40 minutes ahead of the appointment time to let me know they were on their way.  They arrived precisely on time.  They were thorough and always friendly and respectful.  Their manager, Marcus, was very professional and respectful as well.  I would not think of calling anyone else for my heating and AC needs. The two air conditioner units finally went out. Was tired of trying to fix them and every technician that came out to fix them recommended to replace them. Made some calls to companies. Nexgen was the ONLY company that could make it out the same day. Ervin came out and on time. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the process step by step including every detail of the installation process. Nexgen had information on financing options. Ervin explained all options and ways to pat. I decided to use Nexgen and I am happy that I did. I had two new air conditioning units, new hot water heater and duct cleaning done. There was nothing wrong with my hot water heater but it was 21 years old and it showed signs that it was going out. Installation was easy and the team was extremely professional. No hidden fees or up selling no pressure from Ervin or anyone from Nexgen. I would recommend Nexgen to anyone. Thank you to everyone in Nexgen. It's nice to find an HONEST friendly a d professional company! Please keep up the good work!

We didn't have the best experience with this company at first, but there is really something to be said about a company who will reach out and fix something that went wrong. Called in when I really needed some key decisions made about my Cooling and Heating. My technician was Martin from NexVen. Martin is truly the person I needed for the job. He began with educating me on all of the Cooling and heating system. He was so thorough and knowledgeable about all sorts of things. Before I could tell him why I called NexGen to look at my unit, he had told me all possible Dys motions of what my Unit was having and he was right on point! This guy knows his thing! He was not only working to get my unit back to work but he tried and explained everything so well that he makes the decision on what to do so easy from his options. He is 10 over 10 minus zero !

i was at linch and i received a call from the general manager.  clearly, he has seen this review and surely he wanted to apologize, asure me of this and that.  Here the scoop, George was following the training he has received from this company.  He was nice and had an expert tone and presence.  I feel that George, and all technicians are push to find the most expensive solution to problems that can be fixed at a later time. I feel George is just a chip that is conditioned by management to exploit customer needs to meet management desires. Yes, general manager, here you are the evil to fear not George.

I am disappointed. We call this company, again, because we had had two previous experiences that were great. We called the company because our AC unit went out, stopped working, and well we need to have the house cooled. Do years ago the first guy from this company came in look at the AC unit in the backyard immediately went for the fuse box checked the fuse and he said all you need is a fused and I happen to have one. He replaced the fuse, At no extra charge, he just charges for the regular service fee which I believe were $79.

last year, after doing some research and YouTube, I concluded that the capacitor was bad, using the power meter from Harbor freight, hi checked it and it was in fact bad. We ordered a new unit from Amazon and I replaced it. We still called this company and they sent another guy who check the fuse and check the AC unit and determine that I had wired the capacitor wrong. he made everything else needed to get the unit working and he only charged the service fee.

this year, when the AC unit stopped working we called the company again. They had a technician come over the following day. He checked the unit, and then he came out with the thousands and thousands of dollars in repairs.  not only was he trying to make us spend more money than necessary, he was being very evasive about telling us why we need to spend over $3000 to do unnecessary work that was not directly connected with having the AC unit working again. He went on and on and on about describing issues that potentially were necessary to have the AC unit cooling the house again.  we pay the service fee, send this technician on his way, and teal were left with a hot house and eight AC unit not working. During the conversation he mentioned that the capacitor was a part that needed to be replaced. And I bet that the capacitor is the only thing that needs to be replaced to get that AC unit working again.

so, out of three experiences with the company, we had one that was very disappointing. So, do you research before you call anybody to do work on your AC unit, because it may be just as simple as changing the fused. YouTube has many videos you can watch on do it yourself minor repairs to the AC unit. And whether it is nexgen or any other company, because small, make sure to do your research and don't let anybody take advantage of you because you are ignorant of minor repairs that you can do at the very low cost to you.

Let me tell everyone a little something about roger here! He came to do his job in checking my air vents making sure everything was ok and he actually saved me and my customers. The vents we had were dirty and so nasty that we were breathing dust which is so gross, but roger here changed everything and made sure that all my vents were clean and made sure I was well taken care of. Trust me when I say roger is the best one out of all the guys in this company!!!
So now when my air vents need maintenance in the next 6 months I know I'm going to request roger and you should too!!!

Our 16-year-old AC unit overheated one evening. We called & Art Ramos came out the next morning at the time estimated. He cleaned the unit & accessed the situation. He informed me of results of his diagnosis & did not try to upsell me. He was honest about the repairs needed & even when he said they weren't guranteed, I didn't feel like he was just trying to sell us a new unit. We tried to qualify for a loan for a new unit & it didn't work out for us though the financing department tried. Art fixed the unit and we are saving for a new one which we will definitely get from NexGen.

Kudos to NexGen and specifically Marcus Williams.  I purchased the maintenance plan and this was my heating system check up.  Marcus was so thorough and 100% professional.  He didn't rush - showed me pics - climbed into a tight 2 spots - and explained some concerns WITHOUT trying to sell me something I didn't need.  I really appreciated that.  I'm sticking with NexGen and hopefully they'll send Marcus again.  Well done!

I've been replacing the capacitor in my 36 year-old AC unit every 4 months for the last 2 years.  It finally stopped working and noticed the lines going from outside unit started freezing up so I called NexGen after doing some research.  It is hot as hell out here so I needed to get this done fast.  NexGen was the only company that called me back on a Sunday.

Paul from NexGen came out and fixed it all up.  I also mentioned to him that for some strange reason there was no return air from inside the house.  He mentioned this was bad for unit and was surprised it was still running.  It seemed to be sucking air from within the walls!!  Anyway, he answered all my questions and he mentioned his company can install a return air box to the unit if I wanted and even give me a quote for a new system entirely.  I agreed to have some come out and give me a quote.

Zach came out a few days later and gave me a quote for the whole the thing.  I was concerned I was going to get some pushy salesman that would have to fight off but not Zach.  He just gave me my options and answered every single one of my probably annoying questions with the utmost respect and patience.  He even called his boss and asked if he can throw in an air scrubber when I told him my daughter has asthma.  My wife and I decided to move forward but didn't want to pay cash to keep our reserves in the bank so he offered 0% financing if I qualified.  I did and we went for it.  Btw, Zach, I forgot to tell you...thank you for your service in the USMC...much appreciated sir.

Later that week the NexGen installers showed up.  These guys were going to replace the entire old system, ducts, registers and make a custom return air box out of a cabinet in order to properly circulate and filter the air in my home.  I thought they were going to take a couple of days.  Michael, Albert and Isaias arrived at 8am and knocked it out by that afternoon!!  That's with me asking them 1,000,000 questions all day.  I wanted to understand my new system and how it works and thanks to their professionalism, I do.  There were a few issues that came up but that's part of life.  We talked through them and decided best course of action and moved on.  They left the system running perfect and everything looking clean.  I'll attach some pics.

In conclusion, I am very happy with my new unit.  I leave my temp at 75 all day and rarely have to touch it.  The temp is better balanced thoughout the house cause they added dampers...forgot to mention that.  All in all NexGen has a team of professionals that really took care of me from start to finish.  They have a customer for life here.

How do I give them negative stars? I don't even want to give them one!

They refused to produce a written estimate, they overcharged me, double billed me, stood me up multiple times, failed to clean up behind themselves, failed to disclose future payment coming with they reimbursed the overpayment, and then failed to produce any paperwork for the job. ​

​Here's the story​:

I begged and begged for a written estimate. They refused. I called, texted, and emailed for one. I waited over a week into the job before I finally got one.

When I did, it was wrong. They added a $6300 item I didn't need or want. They were going to destroy the concrete in the garage to tie into the other line without explaining it to me. I don't think so.

They also double-billed me for an item.

They had already charged my card for the entire amount.

I made them take it off.

They decided to reimburse me the amount they chose without a conversation.

Now, months later, they are billing me for another grand.

Meanwhile, they cleaned out the kitchen trap into my gravel and I've had to hire an exterminator, 3 times, to control the ant problem it caused.

They promised to come out and investigate the smell coming from the bathroom. They forgot despite 2 reminders.

I had to hire someone else to come to finish the job.

And finally, they didn't tell me about the inspection the job required until months later. At the time of the first inspection appointment, ​I ​never heard from anyone. At 5 pm, I texted Nexgen. I was told ​their guy was late, and the inspector wanted to reschedule. But no one told me. I waited 5 hours. Then she told me the inspector left a note because I wasn't home. And THAT was the reason we didn't have an inspection. Turns out the inspector was 15 minutes early and had come and gone before our 4 hour window began​. I took a picture of it and sent it to her. While you are busy blaming me, you were not here to know what happened. Your guy was late, the inspector was early, and I was on time.​ Take some responsibility. OWN YOUR SHIT.

I set up the next interview with the inspector and took care of it myself.​

Poor, poor, professionalism. I don't recommend​ them​ at all.

*Update

I emailed 6 times over 2 weeks to get an invoice that showed paid in full, registration paperwork, and a specific rebate (which I sent multiple times).

They refused to respond.

I tried calling. No one answered.

I sent specific info that I needed to file for my gas rebate and alerted them to my deadline (today) to file.

Still no response. Not even I'm working on it.

It's funny that when they wanted their money, they called, texted, and emailed several times a day.

Seems once they got their money, they didn't care what I needed.

I was reduced to calling corporate to get anyone to respond.

I think a $17k 5 tons HVAC is way too much which accdg to the sales person is what we need 4br/3ba 26sqft house  (and this is the lowest cost that he showed us which goes up all the way to over $22k!). However their technician, Zachary, is very pleasant and knowledgable (more power to you). Taking advantage seems to be the philosophy of this sales person/company.

George Guido, the technician  serviced my air-conditioning unit and sealed my duct connections in the attic.  He spent several hours at my home. He was informative, patient while explaining things to me, friendly, kind, respectful, and cleaned up after himself. It really was a very positive experience for me! Our air conditioner was acting up and no longer cooling just as the summer was reaching peak heat. My sister recommended these guys and we set up an appointment for next day. Noah contacted my husband 30 minutes before arrival and was punctual to the stated time. He was very courteous and professional. He quickly assessed the issue and gave my husband a couple of quotes. We were having some issues with our existing HVAC unit and called NexGen to come and look at our problems. Patrick and Marc came out and were amazing. They were professional, friendly and accommodating. Patrick really took the effort to crawl into all our spaces and took a thorough look at what our issues were. I could see and feel immediately that Patrick and Marc have been working together for a long time - they had great synergy from the way they were bouncing idea after idea off of each other to come up with the best solution for me. Patrick and Marc discussed in detail some solutions on what would or wouldn't work for us and went to great lengths to ensure I fully understood everything that was happening. Marc listened to all my concerns and really took the time to discuss and guide me on what he felt would be the best option for my home. I really trusted the way Patrick and Marc worked with us and especially trusted Marc's recommendations without feeling pressured one way or another. They were even able to get the work started the same day which was great! Additionally, they were extremely responsive to all my requests throughout the entire install process.

Every single technician that came to install our new system were all so professional and knew exactly what they were doing. I was unfortunately only able to get a few names: Randy, Daniel, Leo, Ricky and Cody...but I know there were a few more guys whose names I didn't catch and want to make sure they get the credit they deserve. David, who came out to patch my drywall was just as amazing and so very nice and did an outstanding job with patching things up. Every single NexGen team member I experienced along the way strived for excellence and 100% satisfaction. Thank you to everyone on this team!

We were able to schedule an appointment for the next day for a system tune up and maintenance, so that's a big win right there, especially with how important HVAC systems can be in Temecula as we go into the hot summer months.

Our service tech, Benny, was incredibly friendly and professional. Benny not only did a very thorough evaluation of our AC condenser and HVAC system, but he happily walked us through the what and why of his work. He was friendly and conversational about the work, and didn't make us feel like idiots or talk down to us; he genuinely wanted us to understand the current state of our system, why it's a problem, and in no way talked down to us or demeaned us.

My wife and I are thoroughly impressed with their work and expertise, and we will be going to NexGen for all of HVAC needs in the future.

Called the 951 # around 9:30pm last night to report an emergency issue with plumbing in the kitchen sink. Gave all info to dispatch who said a tech would give us a call back ASAP, 40 mins later... still no call back, so we called again and left our info with dispatcher again like she never had it before. Tells us the same thing, that someone would get back to us. We never got a return call back. We will go with another plumbing service, seems like they aren't equipped to do pluming only AC services being that they only have reviews for AC not plumbing and do not offer 24 hr emergency service as their website states. Thanks for nothing!

A big thanks to Roger for one, calling ahead to remind us he would be here between 9-9:15am, & 2nd for being very professional while wearing a mask and booties when he came into the house. We called out Nexgen because we wanted to repair our air ducts because we were getting air in all rooms but one.  Nexgen had availability to come out quickly and was very communicative about their arrival time.  Although they were unable to repair our ducts because they were in such poor shape they did price match an estimate we had received for a complete replacement.  Even though they came out at 6pm they were able to immediately begin to rip out the ducts and install new ones the next day.  They were very professional and worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves.  They were also very friendly to my son and my dog and did not use scare tactics to try to up sell us.  Very happy with our service and happy to recommend.

I highly recommend NexGen! My husband and I bought a new house, and bought our new air-conditioning and heating unit with nexgen. I could not be more pleased with the service. They had the new units installed within 2 days! The workers Gustavo, Sergio, and Isaias were very professional, hard working, through, clean, and nice! They take pride in their work. It's been 3 months and new units work great! We just called the warranty department to come check and verify everything is working well and Jacob came out and did a thorough check on our units and helped fix some setting on our Nest. Jacob was so friendly and nice and went above and beyond to make us happy. Nexgen is a big corporation that delivers quality service and has a family friendly feel with their customers! We are very pleased!

So I  recently bought a house a fixer upper if you will... even had an inspector come out and look at to see what we had to do. Long story short so overwhelmed with everything that I had to do to the house. One of these unforeseen problems was my HVAC system. I'm a firm believer about treating people with respect going above and beyond the Call of Duty and genuinely being a good person. I say this because I saw a commercial and I could not remember what the company name was but the commercial touched me in a way where I was like hey I will call this company when I need it. Emphasized on being family and caring about what the customer wants. Really good commercial. So sure enough enough I couldn't remember the company when it came time to be. So I called seven companies to see if I could get it a same-day diagnostic three of the companies could do it. Two of the companies told me when they can make it here but one company asked what time was good for me caught me by surprise seeing as they were so busy. So I went with them. Remind you it was over 90° today pushing 100 it was hot with no air conditioning. I'm in an irritable mood and the technician couldn't come fast enough as far as I was concerned. Quick little side note I'm a big dog person so it's always a plus when the technician comes and they're not afraid of dogs and they think the same way that you do about dogs just a great Plus. So here comes Martin. Very courteous professional, very informative, ect. all the good things you would want to see in a technician right, that's not even the good part. When they say Welcome to our family in the commercial boy let me tell you that's what they mean. Today I met a friend and his name was Martin. So as he's doing his thing keeping me informed about what he's doing. So I'm the type of guy that like to give somebody space when they're doing their work but I also like to learn he did not mind at all not only did he tell me what he was doing step by step gave me options possibilities the whole nine yards let me tell you the whole nine yards. So when he gave me the quote of how much it was going to be I looked at him and I said thank you for coming over thank you for everything you've done and your time unfortunately I can't afford this. He looked at me and he said I don't know what I could do but I'm going to try to do something for you give me a second. He comes back to me after talking to his boss and his boss must have told them something to the to the fact of make this customer happy I guess. Because I know in my heart no other company would have done with this man did for me and this company. When I say blessings on blessings on blessings I mean blessings on blessings on blessings if you know what that means then you'll hire this company. I could go on and on about what the things that we talked about food mostly but this man right here today became a friend to me. Thank you very much Martin blessings on blessings on blessings!! Just had a new 3 ton unit and furnace to replace my 24 year old system . First spoke to Freddy Palomares and had someone contact me immediately to schedule an estimate . The sales,  the staff,  the whole crew was amazing !!! They were punctual, clean and hustled ! Very professional crew and received texts and phone calls  updating me on new appointments .  Drywall was also included with some electrical work they did .  I would definitely recommend them . I am extremely happy !

Had Martin, and Jeff out here today. Great guys. I can judge people pretty well by what my 99.9 lb. Dog thinks of you . The solar guy won't be back (lol)
But my dog loves these guys. and the wife and I, have grown kinda fond of them too. They made it possible for us to update our whole AC system at a price we could afford. Installation starts tomorrow. I'll keep ya posted.

Would never use this company again. Used their services for new AC install and plumbing for leaking faucets. HVAC service team was great no issues, but their plumbing team... HORRIBLE.

Had all my faucets changed out for new including shower heads. They changed out my handhelds and gave me standards ( which I didn't want) was suppose to repair tub faucet leak and handles, they were never fixed. All the while I am still waiting for the replacements and we are three days and counting. $24,000 in the hole and all I get are apologies but NO RESOLUTION or compensation for their mistakes. They also never asked what finish I wanted either.

They are all too happy to take your money come out and do the job ( THE VERY NEXT DAY) and have all the supplies. but when it comes to fixing their mistakes you become a second rate customer and left waiting days on end for them to  fix it. And that is all you get. NO COMPENSATION NO GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THEIR MISTAKE and YOUR INCONVENIENCE. NOTHING.
I am a single mother and felt taken advantage of.
Btw here is a pic of how they left my faucet ( and called it fixed). Another tidbit... plumbers used my personal towels for their job (without my permission) and left bathroom in disarray.

Don't know where to start, my A/C wasn't getting cold, I googled/yelped Nexgen and requested an appointment base on what I read. My appointment was originally between 5:00-6:00 but got a call and was asked if the tech can come at 2:30-3:00, I was likeHell ya it's 100 degrees today. Lol. The tech showed up at 2:45, introduced himself as Axel, he put in some boot covers to come in the house which was cool but not necessary in my books. Axel was beyond knowledgeable about his job and wasted no time to figure out the capacitor was the problem and needed to be replaced, which he had in the truck. He let me know the price and gave me an option to go further with the repairs. Duh, it's hot as hell and wouldn't have to sell any of my kids to pay for this. The part ended up being under warranty and almost knocked the price in half. Badass!!! If your A/C goes down give Nexgen a call and request Axel, the girls on the phone were nice, sorry I don't remember your names. Prices are great, they also offer military discount. Thank you for an awesome experience, I will be calling you guys next summer for my annual tune-up.

About a month ago my AC went out and of course, it was 95 degrees out the entire week. I called NexGen and scheduled my appointment for a consultation in under 2 minutes. Woman over the phone was very helpful (forgot her name, sorry).

Tony was the technician who came over to my house. He was very professional and honest with his work. He got my AC up and running. As homeowners I think we all feel skeptical over the type of people we let into our homes but I have to say, Tony did a great job, he is trustworthy and I highly recommend him.

The price is worth the quality of service I received this day.

They came out to give me a quote on a brand new AC unit, thought it was a fair price for what I was getting, and they were out to replace it the same day. My house has never felt more cooler than it is now. Professional work and their $15 a month lifetime warranty is unbeatable. Truly the last AC we'll ever need. The furnace cover came damaged but the installers said they had notified their supervisor and advised we'd be getting a replacement, but just haven't heard from them, it's only been 2 days tho. Also, was hoping someone could get back to me about my furnace, I noticed it's a bit noisy when turned on, our old one wasn't that noisy just wondering if it's normal. I also read that you guys insulate the closer where the furnace goes, not sure mine was insulated.

Be aware of this company! I made an appointment, the guy never showed up and they never called me. I called them to cancel the appointment and told them do not charge my credit card. They charged my credit card their monthly plan, and I called them again to question them. Not very friendly customer service, I reversed the charge through my credit card company. They should spend all the advertisement money to provide better and more professional customer service. Their rating should be zero in my book.

We had problems with our new AC units. Called Nexgen and they sent out Ben. He had it up and running. But wait, there's more! Next day P6 codes on all units with NO cold air. What happened? Called Nexgen back and they sent out Roger. Very nice and professional. He assessed the situation and stated he would need to have another person more familiar with our unit come out. Who does that?! I have nothing but respect for a person that says I want to help but I know someone that can help more( WOW) ! Then we get a call from Ben and Andy, We are heading to you now. Here comes Ben and Andy the same day! Well these two amazing men work to diagnose multiple leaks in my system, not Nexgen's fault. They work for 1.5 days fixing all the leaks and recharged get my system. So helpful, so professional, and great skills! Our AC went out in the middle of a heat wave. Our insurance wouldn't fix the issue. We decided to call NeXgen and get a second opinion.  Edward G and Marc V showed up and explained our options. Every question and concern was answered which was  Wayyy better service than the company our insurance sent. We decided to get our AC system replaced by Nexgen and it was completed the next day. Very impressed with this company. We came home from our 4th of July trip to our AC not working. We called for a quote and Randi came out the very next day. Very impressed with him as he is very knowledgeable and very thorough with the information. He explained everything and answered any of our questions. He wasn't pushy and politely stepped out so my husband and I can talk about what we were going to decide on. The company wasn't able to come out till 2 days later to install our AC unit so Randi was able to get us a portable AC unit in the mean time so we can at least be comfortable and not sweat our heads off in this heat. The technicians that came out to install our new unit was also very polite and professional. They covered up the floors from the very front door all the way to our room so they wouldn't keep tracking dirt from coming in and out of the house to go up into the attic. Now we have a working AC and couldn't be any happier. Thank you again Randi and techs!!!

I had a flood happen. A sudden pipe burst. I had galvanized steel pipes since my house is older and had a few plumbers come check it out, and a entire house repipe was suggested to avoid any other leaks popping up anywhere else. Out of the 3 plumbers I had come out, I chose nexgen plumbing because I knew they were a reputable company, and I went ahead and proceeded with the work. I'm so glad I did because there were a few hiccups along the way. A plumber accidently stepped through my attic floor into my hallway... accidents unfortunately happen,  but I gotta say John Molina the Manager of the plumbing department for the Riverside location really came through for me, he put me at ease and said he'd get it fixed and wanted to make sure I was happy and he certainly delivered! NEXGEN is a good company that stood by me and fixed the things that needed to be fixed. Nexgen is a good company. They are knowledgeable and friendly, and professional. I'd definitely recommend them and would not think twice about working with them in the future. Thank you, John Molina and your team.

Not happy at all with this company. I sat around all day waiting for them to arrive today (Sat 23rd). We placed 3 calls to make sure they were running on time. We  were told each time that we would get a return call. Not only did we NOT receive a call, but the plumber NEVER  showed up either. I had a new refrigerator delivered and when the delivery people came they told me that they couldn't install it because I needed a shut off valve installed for the water line. They left my refrigerator in the front yard and told me I needed a plumber. I looked online for a local plumber and NEXGEN popped up I called them the earliest they could get me an appointment was for the following morning , I made the appointment . I received a message from NEXGEN plumbing within 5 minutes saying they could have someone at my home within 45 minutes to evaluate and take care of what I needed . Tommy Millard came he is an absolute professional. He explained what needed to be done step by step, he even spoke with my brother on the phone and explained to him what needed to be done. Tommy was very friendly . He installed the shut off valve and whatever else he needed to he cleaned up the area when he was done . I really appreciate that he came out right away . Thank you Tommy.

Well, today marks 3 months, a quarter of a year, since part of my home was damaged by NexGen. Do you think it's fixed by now? Nope. Still in a state of disarray. It's effecting my ability to earn a living, adding large amounts of stress to everyone here and keeping my son from being able to do his homework where he was most comfortable. Im at the point where I think I'm left with zero options? Im past the point of anger and just in utter disbelief that my home hasn't been put back together like I was promised.

I am normally very hesitant to go with larger companies because they usually don't care about their customers as much as (for example) a smaller mom and pop business would. However, my experience with our technician Michael and the general manager Marcus exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the people Interacted with took care of me in a very personal, professional, and bespoke manner (which is often rare for larger companies).

At first, there was a bit of a misunderstanding because the scheduler told me that they were going to be able to fix the issue I was having with my air conditioning system for way less than it actually ended up costing when they came out and gave me the real quote. I made sure to clarify the situation and what we needed multiple times on the phone and the scheduler assured me (multiple times) that it could be taken care of for $88. Since it ended up being way more than $88 to fix the problem with the AC, I felt that I shouldn't have had to pay the $88 fee they charge just to come out and give an estimate because the scheduler assured me they could recharge my AC system for $88 (which ended up not being the case). And, had I initially known that it would have costed more than $88, I wouldn't have even called them out in the first place and I would have called other companies that do free estimates.

I was glad to hear that Marcus (the general manager) agreed that under the circumstances I wouldn't have to pay the $88 dollars if the recording backed up my claims and I didn't want them for the job. In the end though, he offered me a considerable discount for the miscommunication which made the price much more reasonable. He handled the situation very professionally even though they were going to make less money which is almost unheard of with larger companies.

We ended up deciding to accept their discounted offer to recharge our AC system because of how professional and understanding they were throughout the whole process. Even when the technician Michael first arrived he was masked up, wore shoe coverings inside the house, and was extremely professional throughout the whole process. Unfortunately the coils were frozen on the initial visit the technician was unable to do anything and immediately rescheduled to come out the following day. The next day, Michael was just as professional and helpful as the first. He promptly recharged our AC system, cleaned out the AC, and made sure all the wiring was good to go all while answering any questions I had.

TLDR: I would recommend NexGen to ANYONE if you have any problems with your AC or heating systems. They are professional, reasonable, knowledgeable, and friendly people that will provide expert service and unparalleled customer service. The level of detail and care that our technician Michael showed was above and beyond what we expected and the way their general manager Marcus handled our miscommunication was amazing given the circumstances.

My AC went out completely in my house and I needed new ductwork because there was asbestos covering my old ducts. I called Nexgen because 1. I've heard their advertisements on the radio and tv a lot and thought they must be doing something right if they can spend all that money on marketing & 2. They have a lot of good reviews online on both Yelp and Google. When I called them, they came out the same day and I was greeted by a sales rep named Zach Negrette. Dude was straight forward and didn't BS me or try to upsell me at all. He showed me pictures of how the work would look when completed and that is exactly how it looked when it was done. The installers Hugo and Julio did a great job at my house installing everything. They cleaned up after themselves each day they were here and made sure I understood everything that they were doing. I have dogs as well, so they were very patient with me while I put them in different areas so that they could work. I would highly recommend NexGen to anyone needing HVAC work done. Even after the job has been completed Zach has been responsive to my texts and phone calls with the questions that I have had after the install. Salesmen (especially car salesmen) usually don't answer or provide good customer service once the sale is done, but this is not true for Zach or anyone from NexGen that I have dealt with so far. If I could give this company 6 stars I would.

Our furnace went out and we called Nexgen since we see there signs up all over the freeway. They came out the next day, we had Christian come and look at our system he recommended a new one due to the age and the damage of the old unit. We decided to get a new one thru NEXGen. We met up with Marc Van Valen who went above and beyond for us. He walked us thru the whole process and answered all of our question and concerns. He's very professional and helpful. The install team was Jason and Darl. Both guys are very hard workers, honest, professional, and very helpful, they really know their stuff. They told us every step of the install and answered all of our questions. Jason and Darl both make NeXGen a company you trust to work on your family's home. I will definitely recommend NexGen to my friends and family. We are very pleased with all the teams that worked on our install. I would definitely recommend NexGen for your ac heating issues.

I called NexGen because ur kitchen sink backed up causing our master bathroom sinks to also fill up.  They quickly scheduled me for same day service.  My technician, Tommy M, called about 20 mins after they scheduled me and asked if he could come 2 hours earlier.  I was very pleased with this since it's Halloween night and I'm having company.  Tommy was friendly, easy to talk to, fast and efficient.  He took extra time to make sure everything was flowing properly and gave me a quote for a full pipe cleaning.  I have tried other plumbing professionals, as this has happened 3 times now, and I will never choose anyone but NexGen because of Tommy.  They definitely have me as a customer from now on.

Did not provide the service they advertised. Claimed it was $68 to come out and check for a possible slab leak. When the tech arrived he was clueless. My husband had to show him where we believed it was. He kept saying it's possible, It might be a slab leak but never took out one piece of equipment to check.   He walked around and told us that he thinks it could be a leak but he doesn't really know. Then told us that in order to check for the leak,  it would be $495. So basically we paid this company $68 to tell us that we had a possible slab leak which is why we called them in the first place. The ext company I hired came out for free!  Pretty much told me the process over the phone. And fixed it same day. Very very unsatisfied with this company.

Update: Ismael, the owner called to make it right. Refunded our service call fee and offered to send someone out to service our ac and give it a tune up for free.

To change out a coil that is under warranty by the manufacture, change the line dryer and add refrigerant Nexgen wants to charge $4,090.92 for a job that may take 3-7 hours according to their estimate.

I called several other local businesses with 4-5 star ratings and was quoted $1,200-$1,800 to do the exact work and told it would take approx 2 hours.

Wow these guys were fantastic. They scheduled me quickly, and the guys were very friendly and professional. It's was my annual service for my air conditioner. They were very thorough, and my air conditioner looked brand new when they were done. The company that did this last year left all the spider webs and dirt in the grate around the air conditioner. Not NexGen. They really did a great job. I will  have them come back in winter to service my heater as well.

Our AC wasn't pumping out air to the second floor. I was able to schedule an appointment within a day of calling. Jonathon came out to service the unit. He did a great job. Friendly and finished the job quickly. I'd highly recommend NexGen for any HVAC work.

I called NexGen in a panic on a Sunday night as we came home from a weekend away to flooded bathrooms. Bright and early Monday morning I received a call and they were at our home by 9:30am. It took close to two weeks to fix the issue but through it all we were updated daily and saw the amazing and hard work they provided. I would recommend this company and thank you Victor and Raul for fixing our plumbing nightmare.

We purchased our house in November. I called Nexgen because we turned on the heater and it would let this weird odor out. Christian V. was our technician he was knowledgeable, respectful and funny. He took pictures and showed us the problem. We made an appointment to speak to Zach N. for an estimate he was very kind and helpful but what I really appreciate was his patience with us. I would like to add all the workers that came out to install our new unit wore masks and covered their shoes they also covered my floors and walls and they cleaned up after they were done! Thank you NEXGEN for our new unit and taking that awful smell out of our new home!

I was contacted by NexGen, and they came out and determined that there was a misdiagnosis. They fixed the pipe that was cut and rebuilt the  section of condensation pipe that was leaving the furnace. Doing so restored the functionality of the unit and a smile upon my face. No longer was I going to have to empty a bucket twice a day.

I am pleased that they were able to right the wrong that was stricken upon my family and myself.

Had a problem with my dishwasher and called them, in 2 hours Aaron was at my front door, wearing mask and booties so my floors won't get dirty, got right on the problem and fixed it in no time! We had a whole new air conditioning unit replaced in January 2021... As time went on I kept smelling natural gas... At 1st I thought nothing of it but this one day the smell was super strong... And we found that the smell was coming form the new unit that we just had installed in January... We immediately called NextGen as it has only been 6 months since this unit was installed... We had some issues with the rep that answered the phone wanting to change us for them to come out to check THEIR work... We had them just book an appointment to have someone come out... Of course after that call I felt like if this is how this is when it comes to this company then I will not proceed with asking them to replace my Duct work that needs to be done now... We had a tech named Christian Valdez come out to check our system... All I can say is he is the best service tech that I have ever dealt with... He was VERY professional, VERY knowledgeable and VERY helpful giving us peace of mind... He explained everything so that we can understand what is going on... He definitely made me change my mind and feel REALLY confident and comfortable in my choice to choose this company for my air/heating and even my plumbing... He let me know of the warranty that their company offers and what it covers which in the long run is best for us... I feel like he gave us the best customer service that anyone could possibly ask for... He went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable with our decisions... He is a great asset to this company... Any time I need help for my heating/air I will definitely make sure that I request him and only him to assist is...

I want to thank the owner of this business for having high standards and a great crew of people! As a former business owner I had to leave this review for you.

My A/C stopped working on a Thursday evening, Friday morning I called 3 companies, I looked up reviews on all. On Friday a tech showed up for a diagnosis & estimate, my 22 year old furnace was shot, (it was going to be hot for the next 5 days). Later that day after the tech left I saw another company and I was really impressed when I came across a video from a television station about a Veteran who could not afford a heat and air unit, and the owner of NEXGEN installed one FOR FREE!. Somebody had turned in this Veteran's story to NEXGEN and nominated him for this generous gift.

So Saturday morning I called NEXGEN and they sent their project manager David M. out THAT AFTERNOON. David took 30 minutes to ask questions about my needs for A/C and Heat and then went into my attic to look at the furnace, yep, it was shot. He then spent at least 2 hours going over different packages in a price range that I was comfortable with, explaining to me the differences in sizes and some technical information. He gave me discounts to get me where I felt comfortable with what I was getting and could afford and told me that a team would be out on Monday morning to install and haul away.

Monday by 8:00a.m. the installers were at my house, they laid down protective floor covers on my tile and stairs and went right to work! Within hours I was up and running, the system was getting charged and double checked. The crew was nice, friendly, very efficient and answered any questions or concerns I had.

When the crew left, my new thermostat did not seem to work properly in my opinion, when it got down to the setting to shut off, it did not go off for a long time. I called the office and the project manager and both did every thing they could to get a tech back out to double check it. The manager David, decided to just come out himself and take a look. He thought since the thermostat was new it might of had an adjustment period and would be fine but he told me he would send a special technician the next day.

Sure enough I get a call from the technician Jacob R. and he is on the way, he spent a few hours running tests to see if the thermostat was calibrated properly. He changed out my unit twice to make sure it was not just that unit and then he even called the manufacturer of the thermostat to make sure it was running properly and ask some technical questions to see why it does not shut down right away. Jacob took his time, was patient and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

I cannot forget to tell you about the two girls in the office, Kelly and Lisa who were just as thorough in trying to help resolve any issues that came up and answer questions without attitude, good prompt communication.

I never felt like any of the NEXGEN employees tried to rush through my job. I highly recommend that you do your own research when needing HVAC work or replacement work done, and then call NEXGEN!

I live in Lake Elsinore so I am not sure if this office was the one who came out to us but I would STRONGLY advise against this company!  So, we are currently on Septic and our toilets were coming up in all the drains when we flushed the toilet (New Year's day).  We called and had everything pumped.  But the problem continues if there was toilet paper used.  We called out NexGen to snake the drains.  The first guy couldn't clear the drains so they called out someone else with a camera.  This guy told us we had a collapsed pipe and that he recommends that we switch to sewer (Elsinore does not allow for repairs on existing septic systems).  He stated that it would be out the door almost $20,000.  I felt like I had no choice in the matter.  We had been staying at a local hotel ($100 a night) until we could get it fixed.  He offered financing which would be about $300 a month for the next 10 years due to the broken pipe.  His guys came out the next day and started digging.  They did not do a dog alert prior to digging.  The diggers hit an electric line and got shocked (he was okay).  They then back filled the hole half way, put up some cones and caution tape and said hopefully they will be back the next day.  Edison came out and was pissed because there was no dig alert and that they left (I guess when it is a hazard like that they are supposed to stay until Edison can get there).   Later that night, I get an email from NexGen (Brandon  Castenaeda), this email stating that the city will charge an additional $9,000 for hookup to the sewer and other charges.  I call NexGen and ask if this was included in the original quote.  He said no and that he had mentioned there would be additional fees and he had no control over that.  I understand he has no control as to what the city charges but that I was not aware of these additional charges when signing for the loan-was the thing that really pissed me off. He ended up hanging up on me after I stated that he needed to cease work on my property because I did not feel like he was transparent.  My husband called the original number who dispatched these guys and she hung up on them.  So I called customer service and the man was very nice and apologized for the others.  He said he would call me the next morning.  He never called.  Brandon called back after I sent an email stating I was terminating their service and he was much nicer lol.  However, all of this is not the kicker.  The kicker is that we called out the original septic company (Independent Plumbers), and they said it was a clogged pipe and not a broken pipe.  They said they would be there the next day to help us out and sure enough they showed up early the next day.  They jetblasted our pipes and the problem was solved.  It was going going to be close to $30,000 with NexGen and it was only $1,500 at the end of the day.  The worst part is that they completely lied to our faces and said we had a busted pipe.  This was not true in the slightest.  My experience was is that this company is shady and dishonest and I would warn anyone and everyone to stay away from this dishonest company.  They also left the front yard a mess and did not even offer to clean it up.  My husband and I in the rain filled the hole so no kid would fall in it and I will need to re landscape because my flowers were all ripped out as well as the gravel borders.

Gustavo from Nexgen came out today and was very polite, professional & knowledgeable!! He fixed the issue and I'm just very relieved... I'm giving 4 stars because the installation experience was excellent and the actual repair service from Gustavo was also excellent.. there is room for improvement on call center committing to a call back for repairs and not following through.

Today the brand new 3 month old AC unit went out  it's 87 degrees inside the house !and I have a dog recovery from surgery plus family coming over !!  I called at 3 pm was told a technician was coming out .... nothing .... I called at 4 pm told oh I'll page them and have them call you right back ..... nothing no call !! Called at 6:30 went to answering service... so I've changed my review... 2 stars because they do a great job selling you a new 13k to 14k unit but other than that don't expect them to come fix it or even respond... really NOT happy !!

A/C went out fast so I called Nexgen Monday at 4 pm they were very friendly and scheduled us for 7 pm that same day ... Axel was very professional and offered 3 solutions... we chose to replace A/C and furnace because the price was very fair . The next morning by 7:30 am the Nexgen crew showed up introduced themselves and got to work by 12:40 pm they were done ! Nice cold air flowed through the house, you can only hear a purrr from the unit when standing next to it outside. The crew were polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up when they were done.  Fast, reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly from the phone call to the finish of installation. After speaking with Zach and going over my concerns, I decided to still go forward with our home project. Marcus was extremely helpful in explaining what the best solution for our problem was and he provided us with a project that we really felt great about. I really appreciate his willingness to help and for always being available for questions even after working ours. The crew that came out for the install was very clean and professional as well. They did an amazing job installing the new unit and ducts, and also made sure my wife and I were completely pleased with the job before leaving.

I orig called NexGen to have a whole house filter installed to improve our quality of air.  When I went into upstairs attic to inspect my system, to my shock, I learned we had dust, soot, and ash from years of wildfires on my recirc fan.  Upon further inspection, found my circuit boards on furnace were overheating as evidenced by scorch marks.  Then we looked at AC sys.  There was black mold in both our units due to builder (orig HVAC 20 yrs old) not properly leveling the unit causing condensation to flow rearward AWAY from drain lines.  This resulted in standing water for years in our system.

NexGen gave me a few opts.  1) put filter on bad system

2) clean system then put filter on
3) New and complete system with ionizer and LED UV light.  

I chose the latter.  No point in throwing good money at bad.

They were great.  Got spectacular price, 2day install, very clean cordial and respectful staff.  Even rolled out carpets/drip cloths so we didn't get our floors and carpets dirty.

I am very happy with NexGen.  We have a Fantastic system, now, with minimal disruption or problems.  Marcus Van Valen, our project manager was phenomenal.

We had tried several AC repair companies and all were too busy to come out. We found NexGen on Yelp and they didn't charge an after hours rate for a Saturday even. We had Ramon & Trenton come out  for an AC unit not cooling. They arrived earlier than was original planned, which was great as it's HOT out. They were professional and explained clearly what was needed for my unit. Would definitely recommend NexGen!

We purchased a brand new HVAC system in June of 2022, they were quick to install it, but never returned our calls to complete the job in order to get the building permit to be approved. We waited patiently and called Next-gen once a month thereafter to finish the job, and everytime, the dispatcher would say that the person responsible for this job is out of the office and would call us back. It is now December and the permit has expired! Still no response. So we gave up. And now, the brand new heating that they installed turns off too quickly and we called today, December 9th, again, they say that the people responsible for warranty repairs would contact us. It's been hours and still nothing.

so far, nexgen has replaced water heater and single shower valve, and that is great stuff. The next phase was to rebuild a shower with prefab fiberglass, and the quality of the work by Elias (lead) was awesome, but I was charged twice for the single shower valve so they owe me $900.12. Trying to get their attention. Visa is next to dispute the charge. Hello! Did I get your attention yet? Let us be civilized and will get a refund and then they will get lots of work later.

A technician came out on Saturday so I can get a new AC unit schedule appointment for Monday between 8:00-9:00 am. They call me saying that the won't be there until 2:30-3:00 pm. I end up calling them around 3:20 asking then if a technician going to be by anytime soon, they told me he would be there in 45 min so I end up Canceling the service. I want to thank Nexgen HVAC for the work they did in replacing my heating and cooling system. The team of Nexgen are very professional from the consultan Zach Negrete in helping us with our needs in choosing the right system for our home. They practice social distance and wear a mask at all times making me and my family  feel safe. The team at Nexgen are very professional the installation was phenomenal on time just as promised. Very clean in the way they work covering my floors and picking up any debris that was left behind. When they were finished they walked us through the process in how to operate our system. I called NexGen for a sewer line repair. The tech came out and gave me an estimate for a repair, plus an additional item that he claimed that I needed because the city code was recently updated, and if we didn't include it then it would be flagged during inspection. I checked the city code, and turns out, the tech lied! That additional item was not mandated by city code. Nevertheless, nexgen gave me a great price for the repair, so I told the tech I just wanted the repair, without the additional item. His response? Oh, well if you just do the repair, then it'll actually cost more than the price I gave you. Why would it cost more to do less work?? So, I called the nexgen office and told them I'd like to proceed with the estimate, but with a new plumber. The new plumber called to tell me that the guy who gave me the estimate was just making up numbers to get to a specific price, and that the cost that I got for the repair (not including the bs additional item) was just made up numbers, and it would cost way more. He also said that their prices were very competitive and the price that I got for the whole job is super cheap. Unfortunately for them, I did get other bids. NexGens price was the highest bid. So, to sum it all up: NexGen came out to give me an expensive estimate for items that I didn't need (but they lied and said I did need!), and then wouldn't honor the price that they gave me for just the repair, because they just make up prices for their estimate. When I talked to their manager, he said that they do this a lot, and it occasionally bites them in the butt, so all of you should be careful of NexGen because they're probably doing this to you as well! Thanks to NexGen for wasting a lot of my time and effort, and just generally being a scummy company.

The process to get my water heater, furnace and AC replaced couldn't have been easier. David T.  and Zachary came out on a Monday to inspect and provide a proposal and the contracts were signed.  The very next day Tommy M was at my home with a new water heater and completed the installation.  Tommy was very professional, courteous and respectful of my property and most importantly did a great job.  

On the HVAC installation side a 3 man crew of Sergio, Isaias, and Freddie arrived at 8:30 as scheduled and did a great job.  They did everything possible to protect our property and had all of the new equipment installed and operational by mid afternoon.   to NEXGEN Riverside.

Our technician showed up on time during the expected timeframe of the appointment. He also gave advance notice of approximate arrival time. This is always important especially when you have little ones and a schedule outside of the service. After getting various quotes from different A/C company's. I must say that NexGen went above and beyon to help us understand the dynamics of what heating and cooling would benefit our home the  best. Their Rep pointed various issues that no other company did. He was the second quote of 6 that we received. He made us aware of what concerns to ask the following company's. Some companys were quick to give us a quote. We could of gone cheaper but I'm a believer of getting what you pay for. NexGen set the bar high from the get go. After getting various quotes, me and my wife could not help but compare them to NexGen. So our decision was quite easy. Especially when it's an investment for our home. NexGen came out the next day. Their 3 man crew knocked out the project in 1 day. They kept me updated on their progress and explained the function and reasoning for what they were doing. We are completly satisfied with our overall experience with NexGen. We would highly recommend the you at least give them an opportunity to gain your business. If I could give them zero stars I would. They way over priced and warranty manager and his crew leave a lot to be desired. Mist of the service people don't have a lot of experience. One didn't even hook the capacitor up the the right way. Had it reversed from what it should've been. Then the warranty manager calls all apologetic and told me he was sending me $500 check for all the trouble I had and guess what, I never received it! A month later I called his cell number which he had given me and he acted totally dumb about we he had told me. BTW I hired another company to fix a warranted system of theres. They act very nice and professional but beware. The hivac unit the installed was $11,000.00 which I could've gotten for about $7,500.00 and probably without all of NexGen incompetence and not doing what they tell you (eg. $500 offered check)!

My AC went out. I called Nexgen. They responded quickly. Carlos came out and provided excellent customer service. He was on time and actually came a little early. I was impressed. He was great at following through on what he said. I got an estimate the same day. Once the appointment was scheduled, they gave me a 2 day time frame, but it got done the same day. Carlos came back and made sure everything was done to my liking. He is just awesome!!!! Thank you for providing excellent customer service.

All of the workers were extremely professional and did a great job replacing our furnace and AC. The furnace went from an eyesore to looking great. Looking forward to the improvement in energy efficiency this summer too.

We also had them maintain the upstairs unit that is only a few years old, it was a little shocking how much dirt came out of it.

This is how a business in a service industry should be run! I called Wednesday afternoon and they scheduled my Sales appointment for the next morning between 10:00 and 11:00. Tim Eagleston was at our home at 10:45.  Sales personnel are also Project Managers at NexGen so Tim was on top of our project every step of the way. Additionally, Tim later let me know that he had been an installer earlier in his career in the industry so he really knew what he was talking about. We closed the deal at 1:00 and the crew of Sergio and Isias were on site to start demolition of the old system an hour later at 2:00.  The next day Edie called to let me know the crews would be on site between 8;00 and 9:00 AM.  They were there at 8:15. The team of Louie and Eddy joined Sergio and Isias the next day.  There was a bit of a challenge to pull the refrigerant line though the second floor subfloor. But it was a way better way to go - the coolant would not have to travel as far - compared to doing a long run into the second floor attic and down. Sergio would not give up and got it through in the end.

My contract called for the six upstairs ducts to be changed out and all eight vents. I misunderstood that all eight ducts would be replaced. NexGen does not do drywall repair so they do not do downstairs ducts usually and most people do not want to repair or get their drywall repaired: so the old ducts are left in place. My system was 45 years old and it turned out the downstairs ducts were the same as the upstairs (not very high quality and very dirty). At my request Sergio checked if his Installation Manager, Freddy, would approved them replacing the 2 downstairs ducts the next day. At no extra charge, Isias replaced the 2 downstairs ducts and actually put the drywall back in place. The installation was complete by 2:00 on Saturday.

On Monday Jacob came out to do their Quality Control Check. Everything is working fine.  Jacob also took the time to help us download the Ecobee app for our Smart Thermostat onto our phones. So now we can turn on the system a half hour before we get home when it is a hundred degrees out or from the comfort of the bed before we even get up and go downstairs. How cool (or warm) is that. Just as Jacob was finishing up Tim stopped by to check out the finished system -good customer relations move.

NexGen seems to be big enough to give great pricing and small enough to still have excellent customer service.  The people who work there like working there and like working with each other.  It a very well run company!!!

If I could give this zero stars, I would first of all they overcharged and didn't even put the right refrigerant in it. They charge me to 2k for refrigerant and he said he put 9 pounds in there when realistically, I had another person come out here and said my unit could only take 7 pounds. They also said that it would cost me another 15 K because they had to rip up my walls to find the leak. However, when I went to a second opinion, they said the pressure was fine and there was no leaks anywhere. This is a warning to everyone stay away from this place they overcharge way too much and the person I'm going to now is not even going to charge me over 1K very dishonest in price and the second opinion said they even put the wrong refrigerant in. They charge me for a higher quality refrigerant when my AC didn't even require it.

Very professional, very knowledgeable. Zach's  crew came on time, worked clean and were very patient with us trying to keep dogs out of their way. They were very polite, worked well with each other, and answered all of our questions, and left our home CLEANER than it was when they started!!.

Instead of just pushing a lesser air conditioning system on us to fit our budget, they gave us an awesome, higher quality, very quiet unit at a great price we could afford, with the opportunity to receive a LIFETIME WARRANTY (which I will definitely take advantage of). AND...they moved everything into the attic, fixed, cleaned and upgraded our very poorly installed ductwork, replaced all of our attic installation and are coming back to finish the closet our old unit came out of...yeah!! New closet space!
Oh, they did everything in less than 3 days!!!

Next Generation air conditioning looked at us as a small family, not just as another contract. We are retired on a fixed income, so we have been without air for almost 3 years, in a desert environment, while we tried to rebuild our credit after my husband became ill in 2015. Next Generation gave us a wonderful system at a cost we could afford on our retirement without completely nixing our dream of buying a trailer to travel with our doggies and see America.

I am very thankful, grateful, and exceptionally pleased with NexGen HVAC & Plumbing.  I ditto similar reviews with respect to their superior ability to provide diagnostic, assessment and estimate of the ac/heating unit on the day of their visit.  This company is Outstanding.  Their employees are very polite, professional, high skilled, thorough sales representative and technicians.  Terrence was prompt, professional, extremely efficient, thorough in assessing and evaluating my unit.  Thank you, Terrence. Tim Eagleson was absolutely amazing, kind, caring, very professional, prompt, conscientious, extremely knowledgeable, and in doing so, thoroughly providing detail information regarding system units, warranties, options etc.. He exhibited exemplary care and concern regarding my AC/heating needs. Spoke to the owner of the company who was very helpful with increasing my understanding of what was being charged and what was going to be done with replacing my 2 50 gallon water heaters. He had apologized for what had happened (My previous review) and he was willing to make things better which I really appreciate. I understand that business is business and sometimes both parties may not agree in certain topics but by having a detailed over-the-phone discussion with the owner, we had come to an arrangement and agreement. Thank you NEXGEN for reaching out to me.

My previous review: I initially had high hopes for Nexgen Air Conditioning. Their customer services over the phone was phenomenal but in-person was a different story. The reason why I am giving this company a One Star is because of their overpricing and their lack of reason for repairing my water heaters (2 50-gal.). I have knowledge of Water Heating and I know my way around mathematics and pricing so I already had in mind how much I should be charged and what I should be charged for. I was being charged about 7,000 dollars to just remove(2), replace, and buy(2) my water heaters, add a drip pan, and other labor fees. I initially knew that it was way too overpriced but the plumber and his supervisor insisted that I was not going to get any better offers anywhere else. So I had asked, What if I were to buy all the materials and just have you and your colleagues replace and attach the new water heaters?. Keep in mind that the average 50-gallon water heaters cost about 700-800$ so in total, the water heaters itself should cost about 1600 $. The Supervisor insisted that they could only buy the water heaters because of a specific licensing that they have (which is false, anyone can buy a water heater [ they may have only wanted us to buy their water heater which was more expensice]) So I still negotiated with them and I even did the math in front of them explaining that the numbers just did not add up. Rather than trying to explain what the other 5500$ was going to go towards he would answer me saying Well we all have to make money somehow! which I found to be very unprofessional. Will not be doing business with NEXGEN unfortunately.

Our technician, Christian V., was great. He was honest able to pinpoint the problems with our air conditioner. He pointed out each of the individual areas that needed serviced to my husband and showed him what they looked like compared to what they were supposed to look like. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! You will pay double what you should. I had a technician come out to look at my rooftop HVAC unit. After having me fork over $376 for a new capacitor that might fix it, only then does he decide to tell me about all the other issues and before I know it, I'm being quoted $18,000 for a new unit (which they magically brought down to $15,000 with some discounts), or over $5k just to repair the unit. A new unit should run no more than $6k and the install is simple. I'm no HVAC expert, but I work in the roofing industry. I contacted AM HVAC and they'll be doing the job for $7k (LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE OF NEXGEN). I understand you're going to increase your markup when you know people are desperate in a heat wave, but damn. I feel sorry for anybody that's been taken advantage of by this company. Glad I was able to find an honest company that could do the work for half the cost.

Marcus originally showed up last week when my unit stopped blowing heat.  He arrived with a mask on and put on paper foot covers.  He took pictures and explained the issues with the unit. After a full replacement, Marcus showed up today to inspect the new installation. Again, he took Covid precautions.  He was, efficient and professional.  He even went above and beyond by placing the backing on the thermostat to hide paint lines.

Was having trouble with my A/C unit so called NexGen up. Roger was sent to my home yesterday and was exemplary of great customer service. He called to inform me when he would be arriving, arrived to the dot of when he said he would. He came in smiling and very friendly and respectful the entire visit. He not only made sure to fix our issue and stay a little after to make sure all the signs of things going well were there. As we are newer to owning our home, he made sure to explain every step of what he was doing and showing me the entire process, in a way that was never condescending; a feat that many other companies/technicians have a hard time doing. We had a thermostat that went wonky, and had a difficult time locating a company that could deal with the particular brand. NexGen said, no problem and dispatched Noah, who diagnosed the issue. We ordered a replacement and Noah installed it about a week later. Everything's working fine and I'm very pleased with the service. I didn't get pressed to buy something I didn't need, but was advised that some regular cleaning and service should be performed. And when we do that, I will call NexGen. Thanks Noah, and NexGen!

We had our plumbing done about 2 months ago and did a beautiful job in the inside plumbing as far as the main pipe out side that's a different story. One crew member was not happy that they were going to have to cut the cement to get to the pipe they needed to connect to so they decided to pound the pipe to go underneath the cement and well a huge hole ended up in the pipe and a huge water leak happened. California is in a water drought so it was not a very good situation. Nexgen sent out Peter qauily control representative and he asset the damage and called his boss and they sent out Victor and Raul to fix the corner cutters job & they did a BEAUTIFUL Job. Not only did they cut the cement, fixed four feet of pipe but they also layer the concrete to the walkway of our house because they needed to fix the problem right like it should've been done in the 1st place. Thank you Nexgen for having such great guys in your team....Peter, Victor & Raul are amazing.

My partner and I recently moved to a new home only to find that we had major air-conditioning and plumbing issues that were unfortunately not disclosed to us during the inspection of the house

I found next GEN online and because they had both heating and AC services together I figured I'll call them for an estimate

The technician for the air-conditioning Brian was amazing he was friendly informative and super helpful and he took photos showed me exactly what the issues were explained the whole procedure and my options to me in great detail and scheduled a date to come and he completed the service quickly And exactly as promised my AC is working fantastic right now

The plumbing team also has been great I'm still waiting for the plumbing to finish so I will be updating this review shortly but in the meantime definitely five stars all around

I called needing an estimate for my clogged outdoor drain. I was told on the phone that they offer free estimates and that snaking it would cost $96. I guess it wasnt explained to me properly because the tech got here and gave me an estimate and took pictures. I was told I needed a more extensive service for my yard other than snaking it. He was very professional and took pictures and gave me estimates. I was still charged $96 despite nothing really physically being done. I called the office and was told that this was a diagnostic fee which wasn't disclosed to me when i first called so i am pretty disappointed. I already knew what was wrong with my yard and all i needed was an estimate to the cost of service. One thing good i have to say though is that the service tech was very professional.

Update: I was called by the general manager addressing this miscommunication. He offered me a full refund for and wanted to walk through how to acquire my business. Very professional and responds very quickly. I appreciate this very much. Will definitely consider doing business with them to how professional they are.

NeX Gen air presented with a professional technician y the name of Roger. He took his time and explained what was being done and what he found. Roger continued with showing photo's pf the area in question. Roger was courteous while explaining the process. When a decision was made to inquire about pricing, Roger contacted Thomas who was just as nice and professional. Thomas took his time and explained the pricing and explained warranties, etc. Both gentleman made the process and transition of purchasing a new air conditioner seamless. To complete the deal Thomas concluded with brining in Ismael who solidified the deal for our family. I would highly recommend NeX Gen Air when its time to replace your air conditioner. They are also at home shows in different cities, so check them out. (*-*)

We have had NexGen come out for AC maintenance and now to replace our water heater. Both of those times we have received excellent service. I like that they make their customers a priority. Christian and George were our technicians and they were thorough, efficient, and hardworking. We have been through hell and back with NexGen. Whatever you do don't ever ask anything from this company. Our 3 year old air conditioner stopped working Friday.  We had a NexGen tech come out Sat 6:30 P.M. After an hour of him puttering around asking us what we touched, what did we do wrong. He provided no service in fixing the problem. It seemed like he was building a case to state their 10 year part warranty is no longer valid. He said it would be over $3,000 to fix two bad circuit boards. That he had he had to order the boards and he would call us Monday and install Tuesday or Wednesday. He also then stated that may not even fix the problem and we might need an entire new system. He said he would call his supervisor and get us some portable air conditioning units. That never happened. We spent over $500 getting our own units. It is triple digit weather and we were doing our best to survive.

NexGen sent portable air units to our house after 10:30 p.m. that tripped all the breakers. It was a bandaid on a problem that should have been fixed.

Tuesday
We were promised the level 4 supervisor technician will be out at 9: a.m. Nope he called out.  Another portable unit was delivered after 10:30 p.m.

We were promised that the supervisor would be at our home on Wednesday morning promptly between 9-10 a.m.

They did not show at that time.

They have a life time warranty that guarantees disappointment and headaches.

The supervisor from NexGen called and said the technicians were in route and will be there in 30 minutes about 11:30. Five minutes later the same tech who said we needed more than $3,000 worth of work is coming to our house with his supervisor. He said he would be here in an hour his supervisor Andy said it was 30 minutes. He corrected himself and said yeah 30 minutes.

I called the supervisor and said I don't want that technician in my house. The supervisor said let me make some calls.

To my surprise the technician showed up with his supervisor and told my husband they never ordered the parts so they couldn't fix it today. They also said the reason why was because the technician burned out his cornea staring at our UV light on our system and he has been out of work. Also that the supervisor had to bring him because he doesn't have his tools and has to use his technicians. Wow with such a big company as Nex Gen I would think there would be better contingency plans to service their customers. Nope they don't. After all this they were going to honor the warrant and only charge service. They had to still get the part.
We told them forget it.

For what we have spent in portable air conditioning units as well as what NexGen has spent this problem has cost us both more than if they had just fixed it right in the first place. Honestly I can't trust them to show up, return a call, place an order, diagnosis correctly, or provide any form of service at all. We have all the special parts and extras on our unit but no surge protectors which would have saved us all this headache.

NexGen tried to rip us off for $3,000 not honor the warranty and sell us a new unit. The supervisors only response was it wasn't me, I'm a nice guy. You know what they say about anyone that tells you who they are instead of showing who they are.

So disappointing this was a company referred by a friend. Get second opinions people you will get better quality service and save money.

Just wanted to update our situation with this company. Once review was done previously  they responded immediately at that time. However, we're still having the same issues with this system. The latest was that they were supposed to contact us To replace a part with an updated part so that we won't continue to have problems but after leaving messages no one has responded as of yet. To make matters worst we switched our heater over to the same system and now the only thing that shoots out is cold air. At this point I want to hear from the owner of this company because there should be some serious compensation for all the trouble that this system is continuously giving us since purchase. We've been lied to about keeping us posted and this is really beyond irresponsible. If there is anyone out there that has an recommendations on how to handle this situation we would appreciate it because we're at our Witt's end!

They install the new air conditioner unit in our house. They talked us into the monthly service that keeps our air conditioner service and going. Exactly 6 months later they came back with a salesman. Then they tried to sell me installation in the attic for $7000. I said no. After they left I noticed my house was getting 10° colder than it usually does. Went up into the attic and saw they had tossed up all the installation. Tore it up places were it wasn't even covered anymore. These guys are crooks. And they vandalize my whole installation in my house cost me thousands in repairs. Don't trust them and keep an eye on their work. Don't want what happened to me to happen to anybody else. That's why I'm leaving this review. They also service my water heater and wouldn't clean it unless I installed a new valve switch which was just under $400. And honestly I don't even think it needed it. Every time they come to my house they try to work me for money. They also said my air conditioner gets 2 free Air filters. But it turns out the salesman completely lied about that. Tried many times to get them to give me the air filters but they just ignore my calls and say they're going to look into it but nothings gets done. These people are crooks, and everyone of their installation people were in on it.

Awesome service and tech!!! I called yesterday and spoke to the office. They were very helpful and had a tech come out the same day. We were having an issue with our kitchen sink and needed it checked out. Peter came out and inspected everything. He was very professional, friendly, and honest. Overpriced.  $1400 (that included a $200 discount on their proposal) for pressure regulator & shut-off valve replacement

Google search the average price: $600-700

2nd opinion price and company I went through: $790

Also they wanted to charge a $58 diagnostic fee when 3 other companies offered me a free estimate for the initial visit.  I went to cancel the appt but they magically voided the fee.  

Staff member was very kind and professional who came out.  Just for overpriced.

Nexgen dispatched Jesse V and Tommy S. After their electrician discovered water pooling under crawl space. Unbeknownst to me damage was extensive, threatening foundation and potential breeding ground for black mold.  Apparently commode was broken and spewing water under house. Jesse had company come out with camera to assess actual damage and had specialist come out to dry out area, check foundation and look for signs of mold. Luckily, situation was brought under control before further damage was sustained.

Andy M. Was out today for a A/C tune up. He was awesome! Took the time to explain what he would be doing. When he was done he explained a problem he found. He explained and answered all my many questions. He showed me pics and never pushed to have me commit to fixing the issue immediately. He stated he would take the issue to corp. and they would give me an accurate quote, but never pushed or made me feel like we had to have the service done with NexGen.
I loved the honest and thoroughness. I have been with NexGen for about 2 years and every time the are amazing.

I highly recommend NEXGEN as they were top notch in every aspect.  I was quickly scheduled for a walk though with Zach as we discussed an entire HVAC replacement to replace the original (27 years old) that came with the house.  Zach was on time, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.  He gave me options and explained the pros/cons of each.  He sent Gustavo to my house the following day to ensure that the install I requested, could be performed.  After Gustavo's walk through, we scheduled the install which was predicted to take 3 days.  Gustavo's team was amazing!  3 days later, install complete.  I was given a tour of the entire system to allow a self inspection.  Gustavo handed me all of the installation/operator's manuals and went over them in detail.  Final step was pairing my phone with the Ecobee thermostats that were also installed...took about 5 minutes.  System performed flawlessly and I can't even describe how much better this system is than the old system (but based on age...I'm sure you get my point).  Zach checked in with me regularly during the install to ensure things were going smoothly.  Once complete, Zach scheduled his final walk though and debrief.  NEXGEN hit it out of the park!!!!

It's never good when you have to call a plumber, in our case, it was a flood of the bathroom and laundry room. Then next concern is the lack of transparency in pricing and services necessary.

Clemente from NexGen arrived on time and began to diagnose the problem. While most plumbing services push the hard sell on every service they offer, Clemente was focused on solving the issue at hand. There were contributing factors to the issue and Clemente educated us on other services they offer and provided quotes to prevent the issue from reoccurring which we found to be very helpful.

Wow! Zach truly cares about his customers. After hearing about my experience the exact date that I spoke with him he sent a worker out to remove the filter. They have taken care of everything in a very professional way. He constantly stayed in contact with me almost daily to update me on the system and to help us find a solution to our filtration system. The workers that came out yesterday even realized that one of our ducts weren't connected to our vents in our room that didn't allow us to have air flow into our room. They contacted Zach to inform him of the situation and Mark reached out to inform us that they can help us out with reconnecting it with no charge. They are helping us tremendously which my family and I appreciate it. Thank you.

I have to say, I'm not a yelp review master, this is my 1st time actually. Today Roger came to my house with parts that needed to be ordered. He was on time, quick to install and was a great rep for his company. Once the parts were installed he realized that some trouble shooting was needed. He did an excellent job trying to find the issue. He repeatedly told me he would not be leaving until he fixed my problem. He would up staying well beyond what I thought was expected. He was diligent in everything he did. Great job Roger! Also wanted to say great customer service and diagnostic skills to Gino... you guys are all stars .

HVAC tech Jay has been to our house multiple times, he is absolutely phenomenal.  Plumbing tech Kyle came to our house, he is phenomenal.  But the company overall has some issues in overstepping which division does which work assignments, and essentially felt like I was price gouged.

Jay and Kyle I would work with every day if I could.  But not the company, unfortunately. Had high hopes for them, because this wasn't our first run-in with issues, in the past.

Rigo was extremely helpful. He was able to come within an hr of me calling the business. He went over all the different pricing in detail. Also made sure I knew what I was going to be getting for what I was paying for. I had hot water the same day which was such a relief especially since the other company my insurance was going to send me to wasn't going to come out until Tuesday! My water went out on Thursday. HVAC - heater repair

We had an older unit for our upstairs heater that needed several parts repairs/replaced. The gentleman who was assigned to our job was Carlos Acevedo, he was absolutely excellent. He worked with our time frame and never pushed us to make a sale, he understood our real world problems and always made sure to check in with whatever he can do for us to make our time more pleasant while our heater was down. A few weeks later we(family and I) finally set time aside to get the heater repaired after handling some other house repairs. Carlos came right away the next day, first thing in the morning. He even got us a great quote and price that fit our budget and needs!

He's extremely professional, knowledgeable about his field, and even knows the ins and outs if you will be dealing with an outside insurer for the repairs. Awesome job Carlos and thank you for fixing our heater!

Terrible company. A tech came out to our home. He told us that we needed a new part that wasn't under warranty. That sounded odd to us since the unit is new. While diagnosing the issue the tech broke another part. The tech tells us that it will be $1100 to fix, plus a $300 service fee. We didn't feel comfortable so after the tech left my husband called regarding the warranty. Turns out the original part is under warranty until 2026!  The part he broke was also warrantied, luckily. So the parts he says are broken come in and are replaced by my husband...still not working. We called another company who came out and said those parts were never the problem, diagnosed the issue and fixed it within the hour for $95!

*Update - They fired the tech who lied to us and ripped us off and sent up a very nice, professional tech who fixed everything appropriately and serviced the unit at no cost.

I had Nexgen come out today to check on my central air and replace my filters.  The technician that came out was named Axel!  I was beyond happy with his service!  He explained everything to me in terms that I could understand!  He is VERY GOOD at his job!  Normally when I have to do things like this, it's always a headache to me!  Nexgen is a GREAT company! We had an awkward smell, our dogs were picking up. Decided to reach out to NexGen, Eddie viewed every duct and made sure there wasn't any odd objects. We didn't quite figure out where the smell was coming from, so he recommended contacting pest control, just in case there might be some type of dead animal (mobile home). Eddie recommended a cleaning and replacement. He also went above and beyond and even crawled under the mobile home, which was quite impressive for a husky man. Thanks Eddie!

Carlos is awesome! I have always been skeptical on calling these companies I see on TV commercials. Paying an arm and leg just isn't in my budget these days. Carlos was able to find the issue with our AC and was able to fix that issue fast. He is knowledgeable and kind. He makes you feel comfortable and not dumb in asking questions. I had many questions and he answered them all. He didn't push any other services. From my many questions he had recommendations and he explained why. Our HVAC was pretty old and unreliable so we gave NexGen a call and got a quick response and setup an estimate, Marc Van Valen was very knowledgeable and gave us a few options and we came to an agreement on a price that fit out budget. Few days later Jose Alonzo and his crew came to install our new unit, they were polite and took their time which I didn't want a rush job, I was really impressed with how they installed the unit in the attic, they made the entrance to the attic easy to get to and clean and added a light. The previous unit was a disaster and they really made it nice. So far the new HVAC unit works great and we have gotten great customer service we are very pleased so far thanks Nexgen.
Would also like to mention Jair Barrilas came to do a water heater flush and he was very knowledgeable and gave us some good ideas about options for a water heater thanks again.

Christian and Jacob R. showed up a little earlier than expected (after calling me first), which is always a plus in my book. They were quick and efficient and they explained what tests they were doing and what the results of the tests meant. They gave me several different options as to what I wanted to do with my HVAC system, since I told them I wasn't sure I was planning on staying for more than 2-3 years. For each option, they explained the service and parts that came with each options and answered all the questions I had about each option so I could make an informed choice. They even played with my little dog to get her to calm down a little! I got their business card so I can specifically ask for them next time.

Just spent 21,493.00 on a new hvac system less than a month ago. air went out Saturday night. called Sunday they are closed said they would put a priority on it and call me back. No one called.I called several times and re explained issue each time and same response. I made two appointments online for this morning and I was supposed to get a call back to finalize appointments No one called. I called again they said oh you need to warranty department . I got a text saying please call this number so we can make an appointment for you with the warranty department . I called and she said ok I will send information over to warranty department and they will give you a call back. Still waiting. City inspector is coming today to finalize permit. Nothing like spending a boatload of money to spend your weekend roasting in 100 degree weather waiting for someone to fix a brand new system. Not impressed at all.

I don't enjoy giving negative reviews.  But I called NexGen for service on my ACs, received an email confirmation, and called them the morning of service to confirm.  I was all set.  I waited for hours in my home, they never showed.  That afternoon I sent them an email of complaint.  Didn't hear anything back for two business days.  Then I called and spoke with an employee.  Oh yeah, sorry about that, is basically what I got as reply, with an invitation to make another appointment.  This is a true story, terrible service, and they didn't seem to care.  
p.s. I did contact Bill, see below.  Apparently, they have some tech issues that resulted in them losing my info.  Too bad for them, and me.

Both of our A/C units went out in the middle of a heat wave and while other HVAC companies gave us the run around, NexGen was out the very next day. Everyone that I dealt with from Morgan to Jeff, to our wonderful installers was professional, upfront about costs, and extremely understanding. A special note about our installers Alan and Arturo - these guys deserve a raise! They showed up exactly when they said they were going to, completed the complete installation of two units in record time - spent hours crawling through our insanely hot attic - and were still pleasant, smiling, patient with all of my questions and the epitome of professional. They are fantastic representatives of a fantastic company and I hope that anyone who works with NexGen in the future gets these amazing men sent to their home. If you are tired of being jerked around by other HVAC companies, if you are sick of unprofessionalism, and if you want a great deal, do yourself a favor and call NexGen!!

Three days ago was my installation day and today is my third day with a brand new unit, I purchased this home over a month ago and moved in 3 1/2 weeks ago, All this time I was using 2 wall heaters that the previous owner installed 2 years ago.. I am so grateful for two very knowledgeable guys name  Gustavo and Arturo
With NexGen, these two gentlemen we're very focused on getting the job done perfect and as the job was finally completed today they went over The manual with me they explained everything in detail on how everything was installed in my attic and what will be required in maintaining it and updating the filters every three months, I'm grateful for these two gentlemen coming  out here and installing the whole unit and his third day another gentleman came with them by the name of Alan, Alan removed the wall heaters the swamp cooler..I'm  grateful and thanks to these  three gentlemen for making all this happen.

Updating my review by adding in reference to The two wall heaters and swamp cooler that were removed from my walls when the HVAC  was installed have been fix/plastered in the outside of the house as well where the swamp cooler was, a gentleman that came by the name of Ismael has been pretty amazing with fixing the walls , painting the areas where he plastered and fixed, this kid is pretty amazing, very professional, great customer service, he always comes in with a great attitude and that is much appreciated, I also appreciate the fact that he does wear his mask when he comes into my home..
And also grateful for Alex for scheduling these appointments that fit within my schedule working from home.
Thank you Ismael for making my house decent without those ugly holes on the walls.

They created a HazMat situation, destroyed our carpets and furniture, and fought us to resolve it. They refused to provide us with their insurance info until we filed a complaint with the contractor's board.

We hired them to replace our second story AC unit. We explained that my wife has an auto immune condition and needed to make sure they removed the old insulation in a careful manner. They assured us everything would be sealed up when they removed it, that they would seal off the other areas of the house so no fiberglass or rodent droppings would spread (droppings are common in attic insulation), and that they did this all the time.

They did NOT remove it in sealed bags and instead threw it down from our second story hallway onto the floor below. I asked the supervisor who was on site, Thomas, if this was how they normally removed it and he said yes and there was nothing to worry about and they would clean everything up at the end.

Additionally, the plastic they had put up had some holes and would repeatedly come down. I had to ask them several times to put it back up and seal the holes. The workers had a nasty attitude and it would take multiple requests to get them to fix it.

Throwing the insulation down sent particles flying around. I again asked  them to be more careful and again was assured there was no problem. They were irritated I even asked. They then stacked the insulation in my downstairs living room, the entry way, in my garage, and on part of my car and left it there for hours. Fiberglass was everywhere in and outside.

They asked to use my vacuum to clean the carpet and pick up the loose fiberglass and droppings that were now on our carpet. The worker told us this was the first time they had EVER removed fiberglass and did not know how to do it and did not have special equipment for it but were offered a cash bonus by their supervisor to do it untrained. Turns out this was an OSHA violation after we talked to the board. The workers were coughing and complaining of burning skin and eyes at the end of the day.

They left molding unrepaired from where they removed it around the attic opening, left insulation falling out of the can lights, and knocked two of them over during the install. They also left insulation in my neighbor's yards and cracked a few roof tiles during the process.

After they left and we inspected things we saw fine particles all over our furniture, carpet, drapes, walls, lighting, basically everything. We also found rodent droppings where they had left the insulation stacked inside and outside. We tried cleaning this up ourselves and would find the everything covered in the particles again the next day.

Our calls were ignored over the weekend, and messages were not returned. In researching online we learned that the fiberglass insulation was not handled properly and created a situation where the fibers in the air and on surfaces could cause injury to our lungs and sinuses and to our small pets. Some studies suggested this could cause long term damage to the lungs that was serious. Since we could not get a return call from NexGen we called remediation companies that specialize in these types of material cleanups for an opinion and an inspection.

We learned this needed a professional to clean it up properly for our health. They said the fiberglass would keep falling out of the air and we would be breathing it in until properly remediated and that the rodent dropping carried a hantavirus risk.

When we finally got to speak with Sean Norman, he yelled at us, accused us of lying, looking for a payday, and then reluctantly offered to pay for a Molly Maid service to come clean it but that was it. It was a struggle to get the can lights and molding repaired as well. We told him that ServPro and another remediation company said this was beyond the capacity of a housecleaner. Cleanup estimates alone were over $25k. That didn't include the cost of replacing carpet and furniture.

We asked for their insurance carrier to file a claim and again were met with hostility and a refusal despite our insistence we needed this cleaned up ASAP for our health.

We had to file a complaint with the Contractor's Board to get anything moving.

Speaking with Ismael was no better as he too berated us and said we were just looking for money as we were probably struggling financially after the pandemic. This is not how he is portrayed in their commercials. The board told me there were numerous complaints filed against NexGen due to Sean Norman.

We are not at all struggling thankfully, but there are many who are struggling, and that should not be a reason to criticize someone for filing a complaint when your company causes damage that costs more to repair than the cost of the HVAC unit. We were fortunate that we had the money and credit to pay for the repairs because many people are not in that situation and would have been stuck in an unhealthy house.

No repair should be this stressful.

Had an appointment for an AC install quote and the guy never showed up and not even a phone call for status. I had to call the company and they had no idea what was going on. If this is a preview of what's to come, I might as well take my business elsewhere.

Edit 3/25/2023:

The manager tried to cover their butt in the response to me by saying they did not have any record of any appointment with me, but alas, I have attached the e-mail confirmation of my appointment; thus disproving him. Additionally, I called twice and was told by their employees that my situation would be escalated and someone would follow up with me by end of day and nobody called me back until the next morning. Unfortunately, if I am going to drop over 15-20 thousand on a new heater and cooler, I need a company that I can depend on, and that starts with showing up on time to provide an estimate of what work is needing to be done. First impressions is everything, and unfortunately, you being unable to keep a simple appointment for a consultation does not boost my confidence in your company successfully installing a new HVAC system.

I contacted them to get service for my AC unit in May of this year. The technician took some readings on his instrument and photos. He did not do any work for the unit and made no recommendations. I called their office and told them I was not home when the technician visited, and he did not leave any comments/suggestions about the unit, just lots of photos that did not include comments on what the images meant.
The technician called me that day and said he would email me the comments /notes/recommendations. I am still waiting for that email. I decided to take my business elsewhere because of this incident.

This horrible, greedy and very shady company shouldn't even be in business ripping off customers that is in need of servicing their Air Conditioner. I've called the company on Monday, July 24, 2023 to get an appointment and a quote for my A/C it was blowing out hot air not cool air, the representative on the phone set up the service appointment for Monday, July 24, 2023, but she didn't give me a direct answered on how much to replace the capacitor for my Air Conditioner. She even charged me for the membership fee of $29.95 to have the service technician to come out the excused was it would cost the customer $88.00 to have the technician diagnosed the problem on my A/C. I told the representative it's the capacitor need to be replaced. The technician came on the same day Monday, July 24 after 6pm, the technician took apart the A/C covered and knew it was the Capacitor that needed to be replaced so I asked the tech guy how much it would cost, but he wanted me to buy additional parts needed to service was: 1)  cleaning and hosing off the condenser, 2)  buy another parts called a head start kit, 3) and last to replace the dual capacitor, final cost is $1,300!! The Capacitor cost $628.00, the head start kit is around $500 and I believed to hose off the condenser around $200?? Can't remembered the exact price I know for sure it's not the heat wave but shocked and disbelief how much the total price would have cost me if I agreed to the price.  This is an unethical way of doing any kind of business. You don't advertise a lower price online for any service calls to fix Air Conditioner and when the technician come to the customers house and switch the price to 200x more than it was quoted and advertised online!!!!!  BTW, I had the capacitor fixed for only $32.00 on Wednesday, July 26th by my son- in -law!! So I gave my son-in- law a big tip of $628.00 in cash!!!! Do not use this Greedy and Unprofessional company for any kind of services ever!!! They will robbed you out of your hard earned money $$$$$$$$!!! Lousy corporation do a better job of keeping  customers for any type of services!!!!!  

This is no way to do business of taking customers hard earned money $$$$!!!

Better trained all the staff and technicians to be upfront and honest to customers. Such a bad and dishonest way to do business ripping off customers!!!

Called Nexgen last week to service our A/C and furnace. They were able to come out next day.

Tyler M was the technician that came out and he was great! The best professional service. Even went the extra mile and pressure washed a couple grease spots that my grill left by the A/C unit.

NexGen took such GREAT care of my parents. We needed someone to work on their HVAC unit that had been worked on and messed up by so many others for a whole year off and on. I found NexGen online and called them. They were able to book my parents an appointment very quickly. They sent out Martin and he was a Godsend. He explained everything so thoroughly to my parents in Spanish. He made sure we knew exactly what needed to be done. They live in a condo so the HVAC system they needed is usually a little harder to find. Martin went above and beyond to call and make sure that they had it in stock and that they wouldn't release it to anyone else. Amazing service from the first call till the end. They even offer payment plans which everyone knows are lifesavers. I  would recommend NexGen to everyone out there. Do yourself a favor and forget the other guys. NexGen is the way to go.

So it started with us shopping around for a new air conditioner and heater because the one we had was not keeping up with the hot weather and it was costing us $300+ a month!!! So we called a couple different companies to come out and give an estimate for the work. I was getting a little nervous knowing it was going to be a lot of work and cost more than i thought.

We had Zack Negrete out from NexGen and was very impressed from the beginning. Out of all the companies he was the only one on time. He showed up wearing a mask and shoe covers due to the whole Covid outbreak. We walked through the home and explained what they would be doing and replacing. He even listened to my problems with our current system and answered all my questions on the new system.

So out of all the companies NexGen was the only company that didn't pressure me to do something right now for the best price. He understood this was my first time doing this and was very easy to work with. I will say they were not the Cheapest or the most expensive. I called Zack a couple days later to start the process.

the financing was very easy to do and they were able to start the project the very next day!!! The NexGen install crew was super awesome and very respectful. They covered all our floors everywhere they worked and was able to complete the job in 3 days!!! I'm so impressed with this company. Our new system is working amazing and is so much quieter. I just want to say thank you to Zack the installers and Ismael the owner to help us with the price!!! You got a customer for life.

They wanted to charge $636.00 to repair a 1/2 copper pipe elbow joint that had a previously poor solder and started leaking. Home Depot parts cost $3.60+TAX - 2 copper elbow, and 1 copper coupling. Labor: Service Chg.  $88.00, 1- 1/2 pipe cut, 3 minutes of blow torch.  I even offered him $300 to do it. Just so I wouldn't have to worry about it. He refused and still charged me $88.00

Tony was my technician, and he was so wonderful, he explained about the various air purifiers and their benefits to having one installed. I contacted NexGen when having issues with my AC and was able to schedule an appointment within that week. Technician Marcus Williams arrived at my home and provided background information,  options and answered all my questions. From beginning to end, everyone was very friendly, and Marcus came back to verify that everything was working properly and if any changes needed to made. I was impressed with the customer service. I would definitely want to work with Marcus if I had to go through this process in the future.

Was having the hot water come on and off, had NexGen come out to inspect it. Received a quote for $2200 for a service and to change some parts that according to them I wasn't able to bypass and was obligated to do it. Decided to get a second quote from another plumbing company that did it for $800 without forcing me to do extra unnecessary repairs. Best suggestion is to get a second quote. These people will overcharge for everything.

Had a clogged kitchen drain issue and called NexGen for help. I was worried they wouldn't be able to help us immediately but they scheduled same day service for 2PM.
The technician that came out was Jair. He actually called us and asked if he could come earlier which was a God-send. He was not only friendly, but  incredibly professional and explained all of our options. Snake the pipes or jet them. We chose the deeper option of jetting. Problem solved.

I called Aire Thech at 12:30 pm today spoke to a very nice women Erline (sp). She asked me various questions about my a/c problem she  let me know this was a issue I probably need someone to look at!
I guess I should back up. I had called this company in the past requesting information about another service I was looking into doing.
Again she asked questions then explained why I did not need the service I was inquiring about. However this time I did need someone to come out to look into my issue. She had service men in the area and could send them between 1 and 3 pm.
They were here by 1:30 and done by 3:00. Both gentlemen Steve and David were very polite, knowledgeable, and the area they worked in was spotless when they were done. I appreciate both office staff and service men professionalism and knowledge.

Very disappointed by NextGen.

It has been a little over 4 months since the incident and I still have not forgotten what they did to me and my girlfriend.

I had an appointment for a person to change filter and do a basic checkup on our furnace on December 2022.

I was at work all day and left my girlfriend to do all the talking and walkthrough for our home and later at night about 6-7pm I come home to a cold house without any heater because the technician (salesman) turned it off from the attic...

My girlfriend told me that we must call to turn it back on... I am thinking: what a way to get into someone's door huh; well we have no choice to but to call them back so they can turn it back on. Why the heck would they turn it off?

Next thing I know I am having a full blown meeting with them at 7pm for 2 hours, them trying to explain how furnaces and AC work, and what components must be replaced, yada-yada-yada... basically I am being told that my whole furnace is basically trash. Even as to go as far as saying that it is DANGEROUS to continue to use it as it is a fire hazard...

I should mention that me and my girlfriend are young and first time homeowners so I can only speculate as to why I feel liked I was being pressured into something I knew nothing about...

All in all, we were quoted $30,000+ to replace everything. They were really trying to have me sign something then and there but I am fortunate that I did not as I knew damn well I needed a second opinion before I sign onto anything.

After the meeting I told them to turn the unit back on and we will be in touch. I didn't bother checking the attic as I figured everything was to be as it was. It was 9pm, I was tired, still in my work clothes, no dinner, etc...

HERE IS WHERE ALL THE SH** SHOW STARTS.

December was a rough month for 2022. It was a very cold and wet winter in SoCal if you can recall. The next few days after the initial meeting with NexGen, we noticed that our furnace was not working as effective, but blamed it on the extreme cold of the winter.

We paid it no mind UNTIL the GAS bill came in January!

I IMMEDIATELY WENT UP INTO THE ATTIC AND SAW THAT OUR WHOLE FURANCE WAS TAKEN APART!!! OUR FURNACE WAS LITERALLY AN OPEN CASKET AND WAS HEATING UP THE ATTIC INSTEAD OF OUR HOME!

Take a look at the images of what they did.

We immediately had to get a different HVAC company, obviously not NexGen, to service our unit to reconstruct and reseal everything they have disassembled.

Not only did we suffer the coldest winter we've experienced in our home, but we had to expense out a $1200 bill to get everything put back!

And proves to show, our furnace/heater has never worked better!
I can only assume that after all of this, our furnace was not trash after all.

All in all, very dishonest and unprofessional. I would have never thought NexGen, as big as they are, would do something like this.

We reached out to Nexgen to request a quote on a service for water heater flush. Being a great price and that they would be able to accommodate an appt on short notice I was relieved to mark something off the weekend to do list. Aaron Drafton arrived promptly and was very professional. While servicing our heater he took the time to show us how it can be done and the importance of the maintenance behind it. What an excellent experience, from start to finish. We bought our first home here in Riverside in January, didn't do an HVAC inspection (bad choice) and found out shortly into the warmer months that it was not going to be adequate. Even worse, the ductwork is from the 1950s! We had to unfortunately redo the entire ductwork and the system, as the system was outdated and inadequate as well. We got multiple quotes from multiple companies, and our first quote was actually from NexGen! It just stayed with us in our minds how patient Zach was with us and the millions of questions we had. And not only that, but their pricing is very competitive and fair so I knew they weren't trying to screw us out of money. We unfortunately got a couple quotes like that from other companies! We called Zach back after getting another 8-10 quotes and he set up a time to talk the next day. He walked us through what he recommended again and came up with some really good cost efficient ideas as well and after talking with my husband briefly, we knew we picked the right company to do the work. Zach also wasn't pushy and trying to up sell you like other companies did to us. It was just so appreciated.

Now for the day we had been waiting for, installation day! When we signed the contract and got everything sent over, they were actually able to come the next day to do the work! And sure as ever, there they were at our door promptly at 8 am like they said ready to go! We have a rooftop unit so our install was going to be a little more complicated than others, but what a cool thing to see! They actually had a crane come to lift our old unit off the roof and put the new one! Needless to say we definitely had an audience out in the street when that was going on! It was awesome! The workers that came to do the job were so incredibly friendly and thorough with their work. They put down drop cloths everywhere to make sure there wouldn't be dirt all over the furniture, and there were TONS OF DIRT! Not only that, but so much rat poop. That's what we were breathing in, it's no wonder we were all so miserable! They got the rat poop swept out and the ductwork out very quickly. The workers were even so courteous as to ask us where we wanted certain things to go, ensuring that we would be happy! Even Zach was available to answer some questions we had which was so nice and appreciated. The small things mean so much to us, and their work was spectacular! The entire job took 2 days to do, and we have another day scheduled soon to blow insulation into the attic. By the end of those 2 days though we had a cool home! And don't worry if you're doing the work during the hot summer months, they'll have you covered for those couple days with portable AC units. After everything was done, they picked up all the debris and things that were found and cleaned up for us. It was just such a great experience, from start to finish. I honestly cannot recommend them enough for your AC needs! Thank you NexGen for an awesome job well done!

We had a small gas leak addressed by Aaron and it was an excellent experience. He arrived early, he was extremely courteous, he kept us in the loop with everything he was doing and what he recommended. He even wore booties in the home to keep the floors clean. He also patched the stucco and made sure the drywall was left as clean and easy to repair as possible. I would 100% recommend this company knowing Aaron (and hopefully others like him) are servicing the calls.

We asked for an estimate to do some minor repairs on AC vents in the attic and the rep came out and told us we would have to replace every run on the entire system.  The estimate was for $5-6,000.  When asked if there was any other option we were told no way it has to be replaced.  Upon a second review by a different company, one line needed to replace and the rest could be repaired and rewrapped as we had requested.  Actual cost was $800 - this company is totally trying to up charge for extra work that is not needed.  Do yourself a favor and call ANYONE else!

I received excellent service from everyone at the company.   my questions were quickly & thoroughly answered and explained in detail.  Abraham & Aaron were respectful of my tenant & myself, while inspecting the house for a water leak.  
The repair was set up the next day. The team of Aaron, Aaron & Andrew did a great job from beginning to end. They took pictures for me, to show the project in detail for my HOA.   They maintained a tidy work area and returned the yard to its previous look.    Repair was done in alloted time.

Service Technicians Abraham and Andrew came to my home to investigate a leak we had in our backyard. They arrived the same day we called and were on time.  Although they couldn't help us with a mysterious backyard leak because that is not within their service parameters, they did help us check our water meter. We were having problems with our HVAC system not cooling. We made an appointment with NEX Gen. Martin the technician came to the rescue. Martin was amazing. He crawled into all our small spaces. The attic specially to thoroughly inspect the issue . That day was 105+ weather. It was ridiculously hot. He said he lose 5lbs  just crawling in the attic. I believed him.  Once he was done with the inspection Martin explained to us in great details what needs to be done.. Later Jeff came in and gave us our options..  Martin and Jeff are very professional, very knowledgeable and we can feel that they care about their customers.. Not to mention these two are very funny. Because it was already past lunchtime and Martin haven't had lunch, we offered him left overs , tacos with homemade salsa. They both love the tacos. We were truly blessed to have met these two, who treated us

Nextgen's service technician Jorge Guido was very professional,  through and friendly.  

I feel you get what you pay for and we got a heating pro with Jorge.  He explained what our problem was and solutions to them.  We are happy with the outcome and appreciate being told the truth about what was going on with our heating/ AC unit.

My experience with NexGen started out a bit rough. I was mislead on a few minor things in regards to information pertaining to the installation of my new condensor. Overall, the installation went well and most of the staff I interacted with were great. My issues got handled by the warranty technician named Andy. He came over personally and inspected the work that was done from the previous installers and made a fee corrections with some of the equiptment and recommended that it should be switched back to zoning in order to be more efficient. He was right because my new condensor (without zoning) was pulling 65kwh a day and once he switched it back to zoning and added a few more things I now only pull roughly 20kwh per day. I highly recommend if you have any issues after installation that you speak with Andy. Overall, great experience and I would highly recommend.

Marcus went over every option and took the time to explain them until I understood each one.  He took his time and made sure everything was done and working properly. When we needed to replace our heating unit we called NexGen in Riverside. Marcus V so thoroughly explained everything, allowing us to make an informed decision. I contacted 6-8 different companies for quotes to address the air conditioning issues at my restaurant in uptown Yucaipa. I went with NexGen because the project manager Ashton. He was very through and took his time inspecting our current system and its issues and walking me through everything. I felt like he listened to my needs and concerns, he was not just trying to sell me the most expensive system he could get out of me. His system design made the most since to me and was not going to cost an arm and a leg.

The crew that came out to do the install Freddy and Gabe were very professional. They worked quickly and did quality work. They were also exceptionally clean which was important to us being a restaurant.

Overall, I am incredibly happy, and I will be using NexGen air and recommending them to anyone who needs A/C work. Our system works fantastic they addressed all the issues and our guests are nice and comfortable as well as our cooks and dishwashers in the kitchen.

We Love NexGen!!  Our old and tired air conditioner stopped working on Friday night.  Part of our outside unit had blown up! We have had NexGen service our system for the last two years, so we called them first thing on Saturday morning.  By 9:00am our service technician, Pedro Ortega, was at our home.  Pedro checked everything out and did a great job of explaining what he saw.  My husband likes to ask a million questions and Pedro was very good at answering all the questions. Pedro seemed very knowledgeable and was very professional and friendly.  He called his service manager, Ashton Krahenbuhl, and within a short time, Ashton was at our home.  Pedro reviewed everything with Ashton who then put together several different options for us.  He did an amazing job of explaining all the details.  We never felt like he was trying to sell us.  We decided to replace our entire system, inside and out, as it was all pretty old and had been struggling for some time.  Ashton could not have made it any easier!  He was able to schedule our install for Monday morning.  

As promised, Monday morning at 8:00am sharp, we had an amazing crew arrive to start the work.  Everyone was very professional and so nice.  They worked so hard in the heat!  They had great attention to detail and were very neat and clean.  The job took two days as we were told it would.  Ashton came by on both days to check on the work.  We received what we were promised and more!  We are so happy with the work that was done and so glad that they were able to come so quickly.

Have been having issues with our heating systems and due to the chilly weather would call no one else but Nex-Gen They are the only company I will deal with! The technician Zach was courteous prompt and professional and went beyond what was expected of him  even though coming for the heating system took the time to also check and change our a/c filters! Now days it's so hard to trust some businesses that will honor their warranties which is why I lucked out with this company and have sent 8 jobs there waymahalo Zach and nex-gen for making my home all warm and toasty again

Zach showed up early! That is unheard of. The office was on it every step of the way making sure I knew when my appointment was.
I was nervous because my unit is old 22 years and I knew I had issues because I was misled prior to having NexGen come out, but Zach the service guy/salesman was helpful and able to answer all my questions. I have been ripped off in the past and it scares me to trust people trying to sell their products. Between Zach and his boss they helped me to understand why I needed what they were recommending and also offered to buy back my heather (I just had replaced) and donate it to a worthy cause. The installation crew were professional and again on time. Answered all our questions and got the job done quickly. Thanks Nexgen I look forward to continuing to work with you.

Since the hot season is approaching, I scheduled a service for my 20/30 year old AC/heater system.  Service technicians Brian and Brittany were a true pleasure to work with.  It's clear than Nexgen takes good care in training and making their technicians experts in the trade. They thoroughly inspected each component of my system, cleaned what they had easy access to, and gave me a list of repair recommendations.  In such an old system, components are sure to be worn and weathered, so knowing what I was dealing with was important to me for the road ahead.

Installation date was 1/26/2022, 2 outdoor Asx16 units and 2 Ames80-u furnace and 1 breaker were installed by Nexgen.  

Sales guy that came to the house was completely out of line were I kicked him out of my house.Manager Kevin called me immediately and made things better. Where I agreed to purchase the above units.

On 2/26/22- the breaker Nexgen installed went out. Technician came out and told me nothing was wrong. I needed an electrician to come out as it was not Nexgen problem. I had an electrician look at the breaker and was immediately able to tell Nexgen installed the wrong breaker.

I called Nexgen back and told them what I was told.

2/28/22 a different Nexgen technician came out and immediately observed that breaker installed was incorrect and replaced it.

6/4/22- breaker went out again and crackling noises were heard from the breaker.  We shut the breaker off and called Nexgen to report the problem.  I told them I felt this was dangerous. They told me someone would call me back. A Brent called me back one hour later stating they would come out on Monday. I told him that the breaker had a portion of my house out of lights along with my tankless water heater.  He told me he would have someone call me back

5 calls later to Nexgen on Sunday night 6.5.22 no one has called me back.

Last call I made, I was told if this was something I truly believed to be dangerous I should shut the main breaker off until they are able to come out..  

For 2 full days no one from Nexgen has called me back.

I am so frustrated with this company. I can honestly saw that I would have paid more  money and went with another company that actually cared for their customers, and knew what they were doing.

I will never recommend Nexgen to anyone.

We discovered a leak in the pipes connecting to our master bath shower just a few days before heading out of town.  Called around 6:30pm and Diego was at our house within the hour, assessed our situation and came up with a game plan in a timely and organized manner.  Much gratitude to Diego, Felipe and crew for doing such a wonderful, professional job and fixing our problem for a fair price in less than 24 hours.  Would definitely recommend!

I asked for a service via Yelp from another company. The request also went out to various other companies. Alondra from NexGen was the first to respond and she was able to schedule a visit the very next day. This was quick because I contacted them on Sunday and they were out on Monday morning. The other companies that responded were not available until mid-week when I wasn't available, which mentioned in the request.  Terrence was the technician that provided the service. Monday morning he communicated that he was on his way and his approximate arrival time. Once here, I described the problem, he did diagnosed the issue and fixed it. He also pointed out other things that needed to be maintained or proactively replaced. He did not try to sell me unnecessary stuff. Terrance was professional, knowledgeable, a clear communicator, polite, and friendly. Because of this experience I will recommend NexGen to me friends and family for their HVAC needs.

Paul came in time and was very professional and informative .He explained to us that the A/C needed new capacitors and that the A/C was running at full capacity. He recommended an new A/C in the future to save on electric  cost. He was able to get me a good deal on replacing the 3 capacitors so that the A/C would run more efficient . I thought needed a new thermostat and found out my central air and furnace were dangerous. They put in the new thermostat but the central air and furnace were beyond repair. The  Nexgen service was outstanding. They started the same day and finished the job in short order. Marcus Van Halen, Danny Salazar, Eb , Christian, and  Carlos were 10s I don't remember the names of the other techs . But they were all friendly. And knew their jobs.

I have read a large percentage of recent reviews and I have to go with the ones which gave five stars. Our technician, Tyler, was exceptional. He was on time, kept us informed and was a delight. The shower needed to be fixed for some time and We avoided it thinking the cost was prohibitive. Not only was shower bath plumbing fixed. Our A/C went out on what seemed to be the hottest week so far this year and since I work from home I had to get it fixed ASAP. I scheduled for quotes from multiple companies and Nexgen seemed to take the cake. Zach, showed up promptly and assessed the situation then gave us options on what can be done. He was super friendly and helpful. Out of all the companies that gave me a quote Zach and didn't push me to get something I didn't really need which was great. The installers (Juan Jr and Caesar) were prompt and courteous, they went above and beyond with their job. Martin, the technician, has been doing this for 20+ years and he showed me and explained in details of what were the problems happening in my system. Mind you that I already had a home warranty company come out here and looked at it for a few minutes and took a Wild guess what it maybe. However, NextGen took care of me and the reason I called them is because my pops got a system from them and it's pretty awesome of what they did and even give you some warranties on it so they make sure to do it right the first time. I was able to see all the issues that the previous company did to my system. I'm glad to hopefully be getting a new system from them. Thank you Martin.

What an outstanding company! Morgan did one fantastic and very thorough inspection of our hvac system! We first contacted NexGen about installing a new AC system in our house. Jay came to the house and gave us a quote. He was super knowledgeable, respectful of our house/time, and friendly. The quote was reasonable compared to competitors, but we told Jay we needed to wait until next year due to the cost.

We then ran into a separate plumbing issue where our toilet flange needed to be significantly raised. We also got a new vanity we wanted to have hooked up at the same time. After such a good experience with Jay, we decided to call NexGen. Jacob came to the house to give a quote. He checked out our crawl space and told us we needed to entirely re-pipe our water system from copper to PVC due to discoloration. He provided us with 3 different quotes for various levels of work. We decided to move forward with replacing only a small section of the piping that they said was the worst. This was the mid-tier price option. Jacob had told us to call his supervisor, Tyler to finalize and sign the contract. When I called Tyler to let him know he scheduled an appointment with me for the following Monday to finalize the contract. After already being 20 minutes late, they called to say they would be there in 15 minutes. After another 25 minutes, Tyler and Jacob both showed up to the house (a total of 45 minutes late). Jacob showed him everything he had quoted. They walked through my house without booties on and left my crawl space screen open. They then proceeded to give me a quote that was more than double what was previously quoted for the same work. When I questioned it, they gave me a run-around explanation that didn't make sense. After the meeting, they stood at the front of my house smoking cigarettes for 10+ minutes before they finally left. I never received the revised quote and no one ever contacted me to follow up. We read up on NexGen Plumbing on the better business bureau and other people have had similar experiences where they get swindled into doing more work than necessary at high prices. There were multiple reports of them taking advantage of elderly people. We had two other plumbers come out to check our crawl space and no one else suggested these repairs and quoted much lower for the work we needed done. I would avoid the plumbing side of the business at all costs. This terrible experience makes me not want to use NexGen for my new AC.

Best Customer Service EVER Roger C was the most amazing guy! He was very thorough took pictures and showed me everything as he worked on our unit. He explained everything in terms that I totally understood and made sure I completely understood before doing anything.

We called NexGen for our AC/Heater needs a while ago. And called them again for our water heater. We are not disappointed.  Appointment made and decided that day. Install expectations were met. I would not use anyone else for our HVAC and Plumbing needs.  With regards to David De La Rosa, he was transparent on price and what will happen on the install. No surprises or misleading statements. Our A/C unit wasn't cooling, so my husband called and they were able to come out the same day within the time range, they provide us. Noah arrived right as I was getting home, such a nice friendly young man. He explained everything to is in detail and went over parts, cost and warranty and showed us the pictures of aré unit and what needed to be fixed. They lied and said they had lifetime warranties on their HVAC systems when they only have 10 year.  When I called into verify the warranty, they said I need to go back to my sales person. It all started with a maintenance of the HVAC system. Our HVAC system is 5 years old, we were under the impression everything was installed properly and functioning the way it should be. To our suprise there was a lot of short cuts that were taken during installation which caused some damage to the system (rust, safe switch not connected, air ducts falling apart & tangled, vents not replaced, air filter not connected). It's a homeowner's worst nightmare and to add to this, the water heater was outdated and needed to be replaced.

Martin V. was very thorough with his recommendations along with the water heater. What I Loved, is that we were provided with 3 options (1.Need It, 2. Can wait but needs to be done, 3. Fix all). No matter what option we selected, Martin was there by our side guiding us. Overall, all our needs were met and our project started the next day. Decisions were made stress free, no pressure. I can't thank Martin and his amazing boss for making this experience unforgettable and amazing.

Martin V., off the bat his professionalism, customer service, knowledge, friendliness was top notch. He made us feel comfortable, and his patience to educate us on the system. Martin went above and beyond his job duties by helping us break down a cabinet that we had next to our system, that needed to be removed before the next day. Do not use NexGen. They markup prices LITERALLY 10x and dont even offer a real fix.

I had someone come out to do a diagnostic and found out that i had a coolant leak and the 3 options i was given to repair it was to just add coolant, slap some easy seal on it, and then easy seal with a hard start. Easy seal will just ruin your whole unit. Not to mention a cleaning charge of $300??? Youre out your fucking mind to charge me $300 to hose it down

I just wanted to say that the crew from Nexgen Riverside ( Jorge, Julio &  Victor) were very professional,  knowledgeable & courteous. The showed up wearing mask and were on time and got busy as soon as they arrived. They did an outstanding job when they replaced my aging system. I got more than I expected from the company and it's employees. Zach the representative made sure I got everything that was promised. The company over delivered with that super size return pipe. I was very happy with the prompt service, they were very descriptive with everything that needed done. I was able to get an appointment very soon after I needed it. Other places didn't have openings for over a month. They did reschedule once, but it was not a big deal.

After all the issues, the General Manager Bill came out to my site and apologized for the all the problems and made things right.
He made sure that both AC and heating was working and told me if anything went wrong, to contact him directly.  Everything is working nicely and the NEST Thermostat is amazing!  I just wished everything worked the first time the techs came out but the companies concern for the customer is very good and feel more comfortable working with them going on.

I don't write a lot of reviews. However In this case, I have some comments I would like to share about NexGen HVAC. In July of 2020, our HVAC system for our house was in need of repair. We contacted NexGen HVAC, along with several other contractors, to repair/replace our system. Their pricing, quality of equipment, and 2 years of free service and maintenance was hard to beat by other contractors. Just to highlight, the new equipment included a 4 ton 20 seer outdoor unit, matching furnace, new programmable wifi thermostat, New air filtration system (Hepa filter, Air scrubber, and UV Light), Replace all air ducts and registers, add new air ducts and registers to Master bathroom, closet and bedroom, and top it off with r38 insulation throughout the attic to improve heating and cooling efficiency. The equipment began installation less than 48 hours after we signed contract. A large group of Nexgen installers and Technicians were able to get all this work completed in about a week and 2 days.
After all the work was completed and the dust had settled, my family put the NexGen system to work. Happy to report that after using the system during the worst part of Summer and a good portion of Winter. The system performed perfectly. When we first started using the AC portion of the system, it was crazy how quick it could maintain an easy 68 deg. temp. when it was averaging 100+ outside and because it is a 20 seer system and we no longer use gas for heating, we also saved money in utility costs.
Overall, I highly recommend NexGen for your future HVAC needs. Big thanks to all the HVAC Techs. and installers who worked through the heat of summer to install our equipment. Also big thank you to Sandra Lopez, from Palm Desert Office, who always kept my wife and I in the loop and went out of her way to make sure our needs were addressed. It's February 2021 and our NexGen System is still doing it's Job! Thanks again NexGen!

Randy is an excellent service man he helped us every step of the way. Our swamp cooler went out and we were going to just install another one until my husband came across an add for this company . We called and someone came out the vert same day Randy. He was polite kind and very informative. He told us just what we would need to cool our home and at a very affordable price. The install was scheduled for the very next day. Can you imagine that calling on Thursday and having my brand new air conditioner cooling my entire house on Saturday. All of the installers were also polite neat and very respectful of my home there was no mess left. If you are looking for someone to get you a new unit or service your old one I will surely recommend NexGen and Randy especially .

Filing a complaint with plumbing department for failing to complete job at my home since 5/9/22 permits not approved. Have a hazard at the end of my driveway since july 2022 with an open hole and a warped plywood covering it. If any damage is caused to any pedestrians or vehicles I will send the information to NEXGEN as the liable party. No contact has been made to have a resolution and have had multiple representatives supposedly elevate the issue. Spoke with Thomas on 7/9/22 for a resolution on the plumbing job and to date going on 7 months without one.

Run and look for a more reputable company because they will complete the job take yout money and ignore you!

Summer started the same way HOT!
Called NexGen for their tune up special and scheduled a visit the next day.
Christian came and started to do the tune up, showed me the air temperature coming in and out explained possible reasons why the AC wasn't getting cold. He then showed me that my system was very low on refrigerant and the. Showed me my ducting in the attic and how bad it is.
We talked about my options and asked him for a quote.
Marcus showed up 30 minutes later and talked to my wife and I about what we were looking for and gave us options with pricing.
We agreed on a 4ton system with new duct work and convert our gas heater to electric.
They scheduled to come in the next day to start and would take 2 days, they were done in 1 full day

The new HVAC system worked better than expected, house gets cold and the air reaches the whole house with no issues, the unit outside is far more quiet than the previous one.

I also opted in for their maintenance program.

I would definitely recommend Christian, Marc, and the installation team.

I called NexGen HVAC about a thermostat diagnostic in the morning. By the afternoon, I was greeted by Pedro. He came in and addressed the issue right away. Being mindful of carpet upstairs, he was considerate enough to wear shoe booties. He said the existing Honeywell unit was done for, so we went ahead and had him install the Nest system by Google. He was very patient and thorough in his explanation of what the new thermostat offers.

Our heater was not working properly so we called NexGen to come and take a look. The field supervisor George Guido came on time and was very friendly. He knew what he was doing and knows all about HVAC. Also the project manager Marcus V came over to help us figure out a great solution for a new HVAC system. He even when out of his way to get us a great deal. Thank-you to both George Guido and Marcus V for the help and their knowledge. I definitely recommend NexGen for any HVAC projects that need to be done.

Very impressed with the service I received from Nexgen, I initially bought this older house had someone come out to see if my ac system could be repaired or needed to be replaced. The technician who came out pointed out all of the issues with the system, and showed me exactly what was wrong. After concluding that the system has to go I was introduced to Tim who was able to walk me through the packages offered. He was honest and did not try to push anything on me that I didn't need, we settled on a lower package and he also prioritized my install and had them come out that same day to demo the existing system. He even had them provide me a portable unit to help cool the house since we have a 5 month old. Today the new system was installed quickly and efficiently, the crew working at my house were very respectful and did an amazing job with the install. They walked me through everything in the end that I needed to know also. I will be keeping my maintenance with Nexgen on this system as they are truly great all around and impressed me with their service. Highly Recommend them!

Needed ac they came gave me a great estimate did everything in two days my family enjoys the air cleaned up after themselves. On time every day only thing is they added a new vent and had to cut a hole in drywall and didn't patch around it and forgot to turn bedroom breakers on but I fixed that myself. Needed service/tune-up on a hydronic heating system. Could not even find anyone who knew what a hydronic heating system was! Called NexGen who sent out Jonatan (no 'h')! GREAT job! Could have said system needed a lot of work and/or maintenance but did not. Suggested a few minor things and took lots of pix in the attic. Suggested a whole house air purifier which I did not even know existed. Had been shopping for portable ROOM air purifiers! Not pushy at all, only informative. Polite, clean, punctual and pricing is competitive. They also offer a service/maintenance contract for the entire HVAC system, to include the water heater, for a very reasonable montly fee. Again, no pressure sales pitch and everything is in writing and guarenteed! Jonatan earned my trust and loyalty to NexGen.

He went around the house and diagnosed what was wrong with our AC unit and gave us a detailed rundown of what was wrong and what our options were. He ultimately got the temperature difference of our intake/outtake vents from 4 degrees to 20!

Wow, that's all I have to say.  First, our A/C went out at 4pm on a Friday, I called 3 other places, and they were all closed on the weekend and were unable to schedule any appointments until Monday, so we were expected to suffer in 100 degree weather over the weekend.  Nexgen answered immediately, scheduled an appointment at 8am the following day so that we could have A/C before it got hot out.  The previous homeowner wired our system wrong and shorted out a circuit breaker, quick fix and we were back up and running for a very low price, much less than we were expecting for such fast emergency service.  

Second, the technician Roger Cuadra was amazing, he explained things extremely well, didn't try to sell us on anything crazy, recommended annual maintenance and to replace our filters more frequently and he was quickly in and out.  I learned more in 30 minutes than I have learned in 8 years of being a homeowner.  

HIGHLY RECOMMEND.  OUTSTANDING.

Our HVAC system had error codes pop up on our t-stat, so we contacted four different service companies for help. Nex Gen was the only one that was familiar with our Daiken system requirements. I can't say enough about the tech, noah, that showed up to do the work. Very very knowledgeable, neat, friendly, and honest. He successfully repaired the problem, and documented everything before and after the repair with photos. Pricing for the work was definitely within my expectations. Noah is a great representative for this business- which, after my first experience, i would recommend highly. Very pleased with NexGen.

Pros: Customer Service is superb!!! I had a small leak in my downstairs bathroom. They were quick to answer the phone and communicative. They sent two different technicians on two different occasions and each one was very nice, very informative, and very considerate. They each came w/masks on and had no problem putting on the shoe covers I asked them to wear (we have little ones and don't allow shoes in the house). I would give 5 stars for their customer service alone.  

Cons: They are way too expensive. They wanted to charge me almost $3000 for a small leak. Fortunately my husband intervened and we found a plumber to do it for wayyyyy less (didn't even cost us a grand).

All in all their customer service speaks for itself, however their pricing is way to high. Other than that great company to work with.

I had a great experience getting my air distribution system revamped. Dave Troutwine, the project manager who came to engineer the system, taught me all about how things work and set me up with an affordable option for my dusty, outdated duct system, which was keeping my house dirty all the time. My mother had a problem with her ductless split-mini air conditioner. It was leaking water and had rusted out from being improperly installed. NexGen came and assessed the problem and installed a new air conditioner for a fair price. The repair man provided excellent explanations and service. NexGen's everything-included price even included having people come to patch up the drywall. Would highly recommend their service.

My A/C system is just shy of 20 years old and has been struggling to keep my home cool during the summer months. NEXGEN sent a technician out at my earliest convenience to check out my system. Benny was super cool and kept it honest in regards to my system and why it ran the way it did. Benny helped me realize it was best not to slap a bandaid on my system's issues and to get ahead of the issue by updating the system in its entirety. Tim came out and was super thorough in providing me with my different options and answering any questions I had. Both Benny and Tim were genuine dudes who were great at their job. Tim also went out of his way to get me the best deal he could. Ultimately I contacted family who work in the HVAC industry. They provided me with better options and prices and I opted to use them instead. However my opinion on NEXGEN's customer service did not change and all in all was very pleasant. If the family hook up was not available to me I'd definitely use this amazing company. Two Thumbs up for Benny and Tim.

NexGen's customer service is bar none- especially Freddy Palomares! We had an incident where our lovely dog chewed chewed the HVAC wiring in our temporary rental. I was freaked out and wasn't sure what to do. Based on NexGen's reputation and brand awareness (billboards), I reached out and spoke to Freddy. Freddy assured me all was ok and it was actually more common then one would think. Within a day, Freddy has a technician at my rental and in less than 30 min the problem had been resolved. I definitely look forward to using NexGen and consulting with Freddy on upgrading the system our own house. NexGen showed me the level of customer service you'd hope to receive! Don't waste your time with their tune up service. I booked the $88 AC tune up and all the person did when they got to my house was spend an hour trying to sell me thousands of dollars worth of equipment. I said I would think about it so they emailed me quotes on the products discussed. Finally when he got to the tune up, all he did is spray the AC unit with my water hose and say don't worry about the $88, I won't charge you. Trying to make it sound like they did me a favor when the truth is they didn't do anything so did not charge me. Total waste of time. The booking was nothing more than an hour long sales pitch.

Bill - no thanks. Already had the work done by another company who did a great job and gave honest recommendations instead of upselling me overpriced nonsense.

We moved into a new home a few months ago and noticed that our entire family began to have allergies once we settled into our home. We figured it was from the vents which we were not sure of when the last time they were cleaned out. My son is allergic to dog dander and we found out the previous owners had dogs.
We decided to call NexGen for a quote on vent cleaning. We had the extreme pleasure of meeting our service tech,  Martin, come and take a look at our ducts. From the minute he stepped foot into our home (with a mask and shoe coverings), we felt so at ease with his friendliness and honesty. Before starting any inspection, he first asked us what our concerns were. He was patient in listening and gave EXCELLENT recommendations on how we can make our air more efficient with simply fixing our front door frame and not blocking the main vent.
He then inspected our attic and ducts. What he found and shared with us was shocking and we would have never known the condition of our attic and ducts if it weren't for him. He gave us honest recommendations and an estimate. We haven't decided yet on proceeding with this project but without a doubt, I would recommend Martin to anyone for his professionalism, honesty and friendliness. Thanks Martin!!!

I dealt with NexGen Air on 3 separate occasions. Initial visit, for a quote and to have my unit installed. Paul and Ervin are great and very professional and HONEST. They answered every question and were very detailed! Now Gustavo and Arturo did an amazing job installing my unit. After posting this review I was immediately contacted by the president of nexgen apologizing for his employees deceptive conduct and said he would be investigating him. He also offered to pay half of the other plumbing companies invoice which was $200. I respect his prompt response to make this right.

Had a leak coming from my ceiling when i got home, nexgen was the first listing on yelp. As this was an emergency I called them and Two plumbers(johnny and diego) arrived within 45 minutes and gave me a quote for $6000 dollars to replace 15 feet of pipes. Giving me salesman pitch about how all my pipes were in horrible condition with multiple leaks and needed to be replaced  and they even gave me a quote for $20,000 to replace all the piping in the whole house. Luckily we went with another local plumber who came a day later and replaced a simple elbow joint for $400 in 15 minutes . Dont use this company unless your insurance is paying for it. The plumbers are salesman and will upsell you if they get the sense that you are a layman with plumbing and home repair. I know this snake company pays for yelp to boost their rating and hide bad reviews so ill be posting this same review on every applicable review site.

Great company. Marc Van Valen who signed me up with the new system was amazing. From start to finish he took care of me. Always answered my texts and assisted me with the little things. He is extremely friendly and very customer oriented. I appreciate him greatly. Jose Pargas, Victor Vidas, and Alex Acevedo we amazing with the install. They were very professional and showed up on time all 3 days they were there. I had a new system with new ducting installed. I'm very happy with the results and the AC work amazing now.

We had an issue with Nextgen 5 months ago, they did try to reach out immediately, but we have been busy with several family emergencies...
Nextgen came to our home today and not only apologized for the earlier issue, they also did a major tune up on our A/C System: Jonathan went thru the entire outside unit with a 'Fin Comb' set, resetting the damaged coil so much more air can access the system...This is a tedious job that took around 1.5 hours...He then replaced our washable filter, and cleaned up the furnace unit inside...So thanks to Nextgen for making things right after our initial review, Many business owners ignore or don't respond to their Yelp Reviews, Good Job Nexgen!

My back and side yard completely flooded after the last rains. I called Nexgen plumbing, spoke to a Vanessa and Christy in the office, and they got their plumbers out the next day! Rudy and his crew were professional, clean and got my area drains cleared! The GM Zach even stopped by to make sure everything was going smoothly. Axel from Nexgen came out to install two Nest Thermostats in my parent's Rancho Cucamonga home. They are an older couple so installing it themselves wasn't easy and they accidentally blew a fuse trying to install it themselves. After calling several places to request a quote, Axel came the same day and was so amazingly helpful! He installed both thermostats, corrected the issue that they made trying to install it themselves and he helped them download the app onto their phone and was patient enough to show them how to work the app and their new thermostats.  He even gave them some feedback on cleaning the furnace since theirs was so dirty.
Amazing customer service from start to finish and we definitely plan on hiring them again in the future and referring them to all our friends! Thanks Axel and NexGen!!

Andy was very helpful in determining what went wrong with our thermostat. Not only did he fix the problem, he explained to me what went wrong and how to fix it. I raved about Nex Gen previously last summer when we installed new a/c s, heaters, water heaters, etc.  Today Jacob Rose came out to service our heaters and he was awesome!!!!  I am just SO impressed with Nex Gen and their professionalism.  Jacob adjusted all of the heaters, our thermostats and spent several hours fine tuning our heaters since they were installed last summer and because of the heat, hard to adjust until cooler weather arrives.
All of the service guys we have had from Nex Gen  have been a pleasure to have had  in our  home.  Very considerate, wore masks and left NO mess.  Hard to find guys like these!  I wish they did appliance repair!

I needed an AC unit relocated and called NexGen for a quote. They were able to send Jonathan out the same day to take a look. Working with Marcus and Jonathan we came up with a fair quote and they were able to schedule the work to be done the same day.

The guys were professional and did a great job. I'll be taking out an annual maintenance contract with NexGen to keep our HVAC system in good working order.

Called the day after Thanksgiving to have my furnace looked at because it wasn't running. They were able to schedule me an appointment the same day, and the service man Justin showed up early after he called to confirm that it was OK. Justin was very pleasant and informative and was a pleasure working with. As he proceeded to check out my furnace he advised me that he could replace the blower but due to another problem showing its presence he said that he would rather not as it was a safety issue. I totally understood where he was coming from and did not feel I was getting the run around. I then asked him approximately how much it would be to replace the furnace and he said he was not sure but let me get somebody out here to go over everything with you.

Justin then proceeded to call to have a representative come out and discuss equipment and options. David showed up and Justin came back as well. David was very professional and worked with me. My furnace, AC and water heater were quite old so I purchased the entire package at a very reasonable price I can handle. I am beyond happy and very pleased with the service received from both Justin and David... both these men are quite an asset to Nexgen Air! Thank you Gentlemen.

My heating and air-conditioning unit was installed three months ago, and my heater keeps going out. I called Nex Gen yesterday, and Morgan was at my door at 9:45 this morning. Morgan was my technician and I cannot say enough about how professional and knowledgeable he is. He was able to go up and diagnose my unit and explain to me in detail what was going on. He even drew me a picture of what was going on so that I would understand. He did not act like he was in a hurry and didn't have time to explain everything in detail. He was able to help me with the immediate issue that I was having and talk to me about different options I may have in the long run. I cannot say enough good words about Morgan the 10th mission. I've had other technicians out here that did not look professional, nor act professional, and everybody is always in a hurry, but not Morgan. He really took his time to help me understand what was going on. I highly recommend you use this company you can request Morgan but if I need him I get first dibs

Our regulator valve on our main line failed after 5 years, I called NexGen and expected a rep in the afternoon.  To my surprise, Dominic arrived 35 minutes after placing my call, assessed, provided a quote and made the repair. I was blown away by the turnaround but even more so with the level of care, patience and genuine sincerity.  Dominic was respective, helpful and a really nice person.  I've had to deal with maintenance and service calls in my personal and professional life for 30 years and I can honestly say that NexGen will have my repeat business. And if they send Dominic again it's an even bigger bonus!!

Lets just say we cancelled the 2 remaining appointments. We did have a budget that was very important to stay within. Thomas reached out to his supervisor zack to see if there was anything they can do. Was able to not only take care of us but also gave us money off due to my husband being a teacher and me working for healthcare. It just felt good to have a company not out to gouge us. We had the company  Right Time home services who was contracted through home depot out. Not only was the estimate way too high but they tried to get us to pay 5000$ for all new vents. He never even went in the attic to look at them. Granted our system was over 30 years old. Thomas took the time to take a look at them and let us know they didnt need replacing at this time. Just because we felt no. pressure, when the time comes for them to be replaced nexgen will be the 1st we call. After choosing nexgen to complete the work they were able to schedule us the next day. They8 arrived at 8:30. Our system was completed and they were out the door at 2:30. The installation went more than smooth. They left the areas they were in nice and clean. We have no complaints. Due to our experience with the process and customer service we highly recommend. We know we chose the right company. Thank you for treating us like family Nexgen!

I am updating my rating from a 1 star to a 3 stars for effort. The owner contacted my husband apologizing on behalf of the technician. He offered to pay the bill from the other company and free services which we appreciated, but declined.

NexGen is great. Cesar De La Rosa came out to our home in Fontana and helped clean out our drain that was causing us problems. He was very professional and solved the issue quickly. Thanks again!

George showed up on time to my house to take a look at my AC. He was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had for him in a way that I could understand. We ended up going a different route to get our AC fixed, mainly because of the price. However, they were very professional and I would recommend them to others looking to get their AC or anything else NEXGEN does fixed.

Jorge, the service tech, did an outstanding job in explaining and showing through pictures he had taken of my 25 year old HVAC unit.  It had issues.  He got me an extremely good price on a new system.  The installers, Michael, Hugo, and Bobby were excellent.  They came in masked and used shoe coverings each time they entered my home.  They covered the floor in tarp.  In addition to the new unit, they also cleaned the ductwork and vents.  The vents are looking like new.  The installers completed the job in one day, in my opinion was no easy task, and left my home very clean.  Could not be more pleased.  Would highly recommend!!

The two guys that came out were awesome.  They arrived earlier than they said. I had called that morning and that afternoon they had an appointment.  They were very professional and told me everything they were going to do and detail price and, I never felt pressured,  that was the best part.  Andy was my main technician and he was great. They took before and after pictures, and made sure everything was good before they left,  and still assured me to call if I had any questions!

It's been about a year since I got my system updated and installed.Today NexGen came and did routine maintenance,checked the system, replaced filters. The technician Morgan was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful couldn't be happier.

Called them, spoke to someone who took all my info and said someone would call me right back and no one called. When you have an emergency it's important to be able to get in touch with people to help. It turned out to be a 5 minute job for a company that bothered to call back.

Started off slow. Was supposed to be here between 8-9 Monday morning. At first i was thinking OMG, what did i get myself into?. I texted Jeff, who then had Jessica call me. They apologize they had two crews at 1 job, so they sent 1 of the crews over to my place. Got to my house by 11am! The 3 gentlemen showed up, were cool dudes, sociable to anything I asked nice guys, cleaned up their mess, and told me they would return Tuesday morning to finish up. They showed up on time, got the job done, keep me in the loop of things, showed me how everything works. Wouldn't mind having the same crew back if i need anything in the future! Jeff was a cool funny dude. Glad I went with Nexgen. They beat prices I got through Costco, Burgesons, Smart choice, and Sanborn's. Thanks again!

We were having issues with our AC system, called Nexgen to schedule an appt and had a technician come out next day. Other shops didn't have availability for about a week out. Martin, came to us and was a huge help; very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and what steps he wanted to take to find the root of the cause. Martin found a solution that worked for us and solved the problem. Definitely will be our go-to technician for any future concerns and the best part, Nexgen is super Veteran-friendly.
