Plumbing Emergency! In a plumbing emergency, you will need to stop the flow of water as soon as possible to prevent water damage. If the emergency involves a specific fixture, look for its shutoff valve and turn it clockwise. The valve is usually located underneath a fixture (such as a toilet or sink) or behind appliances (such as a clothes washer) where the water supply pipe(s) connect to it. If the problem is not with a particular appliance or fixture, or if there is no shutoff valve for that item, then turn the water off to the entire house at the main shutoff valve. You will find the main shutoff valve on the inside or outside of your house where the main water supply pipe enters the house. Turn the valve clockwise to shut it OFF. If you need a wrench to turn the valve, keep one near the valve so it is available for emergencies. If the main shutoff valve is defective and needs to be replaced, call your water company to send someone out with a meter key to turn the water off at the street before it reaches the valve. ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Hi my name is Bruce Hardy and I am sole owner of Hardy Plumbing. I was born and raised in Louisville Kentucky and currently reside in the Liberty Township/West Chester area with my wife, kids and dog. After moving to the Hamilton area in 1987 I worked various jobs until I landed in the construction business. After working as a carpenter for several years and mastering the trade I was eager to move on to a bigger challenge and found myself working within the plumbing industry for many years. Not long after, I successfully earned my Ohio Master Plumber's License #44796. I was fortunate to have been raised with a strong work ethic and I now apply those values to my company. I have built Hardy Plumbing based on honesty, reliability, and excellent customer service.

Had an issue with our sump pump. Came out and suggest a replacement but once he looked a little closer found that the floater was just stuck. Fixed it and only charged for a regular visit. Very happy.

I just had Hardy Plumbing come out at replace my Water Line Pressure Valve and Water Heater Relief tank.

I highly recommend him:
1. I originally asked for new water heater because I thought I needed a new one. The relief pipe was dripping. He said that the water heater was still good, and had a few years left in it. What I really needed were the 2 items listed above instead. This meant a much less expensive job for me to pay for. He could have just lied and said I needed a new heater and got a bigger job (more $$$) out of it, but he was HONEST and upfront and said I didn't need the extra stuff done. Went from what would have been over a grand in $$$ to just a few hundred $$ for the job. Saved me at least $1,000.
2. He is local and independent. For me, that's a plus. I don't want the big companies. Because of this, he has more at stake in making sure he keeps his customers happy.
3. He responded quickly to my phone calls.
4. He arrived on time for giving me a quote for the job. For the actual job, he arrived early after he called me first to make sure it would be OK to come out early.
5. Rates are very reasonable.
6. Seems very competent with the trade.
7. Personable and good communicator. I asked him how the parts above worked, and he explained it to me.
8. Clean and presentable.
9. Gave me a good receipt for the work I paid for. Sadly, I have heard of other contractors that write something on a post it note. Not Bruce.
10. Total time to do this job, 1 hour, but that also included us chatting for a bit. He was fast with his work, but still did it right.

If you are in the Butler County (northern Cincinnati) area, give him a call.

Bruce is fantastic!! I was very comfortable with him in my home even though I'm a single female. He was very easy to talk to, almost like we had known eachother for years.

He was very professional and his price was excellent to fix my hot water heater. He even wiped it down for me because it was dirty. Bruce didn't try to tell me that I needed a new water heater, or that multiple things needed fixing, etc. Instead he was honest about what needed fixing and what the best solution was to my problem without upselling (something i'm sure everyone is all too familiar with).

Once he was done, he stayed an extra 20 minutes to make sure I was getting hot water. I am a completely satisfied customer and will call him again if I have more plumbing issues.

I got the recommendation to give Hardy Plumbing a call from a fellow horse person. Hardy Plumbing is a small outfit, mostly just the owner, but wow, do they do great work. I had to call Bruce in to help me out with an on-going sewer drain issue, and between him and the drain cleaners he brought to assist, we got that taken care of and it should not be a problem for years.

I also had Hardy Plumbing do some upgrades to my existing plumbing. They replaced a decent segment of my main as well as the last remaining galvanized drain pipe in the house. My wife had them do this work while I was out of the country, and when I got home, I was impressed with the quality of craftsmanship as well as the great job they did cleaning up afterwards. Best part - the price was reasonable, and maybe even a little below.

If you need plumbing done and you live in the Hamilton area, call Hardy Plumbing. I wouldn't call anyone else after our wonderful experience.

Bruce did a fantastic job on a sump pump repair in our basement. You immediately realize he is a genuine person who cares about their work, customers, and business. He took the time to explain things to me, and helped me to understand why specific work was needed.

Much better than one of the big shops out there since you never know who you'll get. Bruce is the guy you want. It is also helps that he fun to chat with and enjoys dogs.

My husband and I had a flood due to one of those new energy efficient toilets. We called Bruce and he was at our house within a couple hours. He fixed the problem and did a couple other things at no additional charge. He's extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! It was like having a friend helping us out! He even stayed for a while after his work was done and we talked about all types of topics. We have already recommended his services to others! When the insurance adjuster saw how much he charged he said man, this guy has some awesome pricing. Stick with him because you won't find this with any other plumber. That's exactly what we'll do! :) Thanks Bruce and son!

Thank you Hardy Plumbing for rescuing us from a cold water Christmas. Our hot water heater broke on 12/22. Bruce and son installed a new one for us on Christmas Eve, just in time for our out of town family. They were friendly, professional and courteous. Would certainly call Hardy again!

Funny this is my first review for Bruce (sorry man), he's done work at my house twice (about to be a third time) and at my business, on time, fair pricing, professional and genuinely cares about his customers! Example, he tracked down a leak which was partly because of a faucet and replaced both bath and kitchen with top of the line Moen faucets thinking as a homeowner I would want the best, when he found out I just leased the house he was apologetic and asked if I wanted less expense faucets installed. I told him any place I live I treat as my own and appreciated him looking out for me. At my place of business, Automotive Connection we had a clogged urinal Bruce came out the following afternoon right when he said he would be there, not a single issue since! Great guy and very personable, you won't do wrong giving him a call!!

We have a gas hot water issue and our warrantee company put us in touch with two plumbers. Connected with the first one after a few days of no contact and learned they declined the order as they no longer serve my area.
Shame on the warranty company for that bit of service. Second one hasn't called or responded to any voice messages.

Warranty company said, call any plumber and pay the deductible This one will likely get updated but first impressing is as follows. 1) reviews speak volumes, 2) he picked up the call and had a sense of our issue. He is going to stop by later today so pinpoint. Expectation is the part won't be available given the age (2000) and we'll likely need a replacement.

It is not every day that you hire someone who is honest, responsive, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and fair, especially in the trade business. Well, Bruce is that rare person. Be forewarned, when you call him, he may not be immediately available to do your job. He is obviously in demand, and for good reason. But he will give you an appointment, keep in touch with you, and show up when he says. And then he'll do a great job.

Bruce is my go to plumber from now on. 5 stars all around.
