Our goal is customer satisfaction and we attempt to offer the most affordable rate available. We specialize in residential electrical work and remodeling. We work on anything electrical in your home whether it's the main panel box, simply a receptacle or light not working we do it all! We are a Licensed Electrical Contractor.

HISTORY

Established in 2012.
I started this business in September 2012 after working for other electrical contractors almost 15 years. It took some time and a great deal of studying as the North Carolina Electrical Exam is not an easy test to pass but after setting my mind to it I passed and received my electrical license. September is a rough time of year to start a new business, especially one in the construction industry but thankfully we made it though it. Since opening in 2012 we've been blessed to have found work with good people, a lot of which are repeat customers still to this day. We work very hard to make sure our customers are happy and try to go the extra mile every time. While still being a small company we have grown and hired employees. I look forward to many more years of serving the community and hope to grow more over time hiring more people in our area.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

My name is Stephen Wilson and I'm the proud owner at Wilson Electrical Service LLC. I had always wanted to work for myself and after being in the trade almost 15 years I started my own business.
At my previous employers I was responsible for the day to day operations doing everything from quoting/estimating jobs, collecting/depositing checks, scheduling work, ordering material, employee management including scheduling, payroll and hiring/firing. I figured if I could do all that for someone else surely do it for myself and made the decision to go test for my electrical license and start my own business.
I am uniquely qualified as I've had the benefit of working in all types of electrical jobs including Residential, Commercial, and Industrial. My dad told me when I was young to find something that I enjoyed doing, see if I could get a job or make a career out of it and be the absolute best I could be at it. I do enjoy what I do and take great pride in it. Thanks for the advice dad!

I bought a home built in 1970 and it needed a panel upgrade. I called two companies out for estimates and went with Wilson based on pricing and his experience compared to the other electrician. He had it all permitted, upgraded, and inspected in less than 24 hours. Also, Wilson, his apprentice, and his wife (the supervisor) were very nice and based on my own judge of character, they all seem like honest people who aren't trying to take advantage of you. Now our electricity is working again, and no more tripping and flickering! I will hire this business for my future electric needs.

Steve took my money, cashed my check and ghosted me. Refused to refund and refused to do the job. Complete scammer and his license is now suspended and no longer valid.

Contracted through Amazon-at least so I thought. After the date of my appointment came and went I emailed him through the Amazon Portal. After several days finally got this response, I've changed the settings on Amazon its not letting me dismiss the work order but we don't work on thermostats and to far away. After further correspondence it became clear that there was an issue, he claims it was with Amazon, in my opinion it is with his professionalism. And for a company that claims to be customer focused-it's not very evident in the way he handled this situation.

I called Stephen to do work on my mother's home. He was very professional, honest and did not try to take advantage of me. He was on time and responded to my texts and calls in a timely manner. I realize that he has other customers so I allowed him time to respond to my messages. He found things wrong with the wiring and showed me what was wrong and fixed them up to code. I would highly recommend Wilson Electrical, and I will use them again in the future if I ever need them. Thank you for all you did for us and for being honest.
