Established in 2005.
R&R Plumbing started out of owner, William Reardon's garage in 2005. While William ran a service truck, his wife managed the office and scheduled appointments. After a short time, the work was too much for one person to handle, so he hired another plumber. A few years later we have over 20 full time trucks on the road, full time office staff to keep the trucks scheduled, and our loyal customers serviced.

The tech was here before the time for my appointment which was great.  He was efficient and did not take a lot of time installing the disposal.  He was friendly and respectful of us and our kitchen and did  not leave a mess for us to clean up.

The only problem I had with this company is that two times I tried to call to set up the appointment and I was put on hold for 10-15 minutes each time.  Never did get to talk to anyone.  They finally sent me an email with an appointment which was ok.  I think if they are so busy that they cannot answer their phones in a timely manner that I would probably not use them again.

To make a very long story short. I made $3000 in purchases from Lowes Home Improvement.  All of which needed to be installed.  R&R plumbing is the second party company that they use to do their installations.  R&R plumbing will not call you back!  For 2 1/2 weeks somewhere around 6 to 8 emails and not to mention 12 to 15 phone calls were made trying to get someone on the phone. Messages were left by the way.  I did not receive a call back from R&R plumbing until the day before my delivery and installation.  
Scott was the gentleman who did my installation.  He was at my home for about 6 hours by himself at the end of his day installing all of my purchased items.  I will say he did a very good professional job and I am very pleased with how everything turned out in the end. Getting there however was not fun or easy. I had to return to the Lowes store not 1 but 2 times that day to pick up additional items he failed to tell me that he would need in order to complete the installation. This was infuriating.  Lowes also neglected to tell me what I needed. At one point when I was practically begging Scott my plumber to get on the phone with the man at Lowes to explain which part I needed he would Not do It!  I even made one of the trips that day for no reason at all.  I will not ever recommend anyone using this company to do any kind of plumbing. If I was rating Scott I would give him 3 stars because again in the end he did a fantastic job!  But R&R plumbing needs to get their act together. I will not be using your services again.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Purchased a dishwasher through Lowe's. Once dishwasher was installed, and a cycle was run, the entire dishwasher became disconnected from the wall. A gaping hole was left. Set up a time for a new technician to come out and they sent the original tech after I was promised I would have someone else.

Technician came out again to fix problem. I am now left with a broken dishwasher, scratched floors, cabinet coming out from the wall, and the hole is still in my wall. Have spoken to R&R on the phone and through email and have zero answers. Will NEVER be using them again for anything.  Very dissatisfied. Is zero stars an option?

If you purchase thought Lowes and they send out this company- do not let them in your door.

I paid the $37.00 to have Lowes come out and measure for my new appliances.  They send out someone from RR that measures and tells me that it will be no problem replacing my electric cooktop with a gas cooktop.  But I will just need to buy a smaller microwave to put above the cooktop.  WRONG!!

When Piedmont Natural Gas comes out to hook up the gas- My kitchen cabinets are too low for gas, but the microwave I have is fine (because it is metal underneath).  EVERYTHING RR Plumbing told me was wrong.  So after weeks of waiting for my new appliances, I am faced with a total remodel if I switch to gas.

I will no longer be using Lowes for appliances because of this company.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The install itself which was arranged by Lowes was great. Apparently Lowes has the magic touch with actually getting in touch with these people. I have left a handful of voicemails over a month and have called about a dozen times no one will ever call me back. I'm about to take this to the Better Business Bureau because at this point I have a glass fixture that was installed hanging out of my ceiling. I am worried for the safety for myself my friends and my family as it looks like it's about to fall out of the ceiling, and I am not a trained electrician to take out The lighting fixture myself. I'm very frustrated and disappointed. How hard is it to return a simple call even to get some direction.

I purchased a new toilet from Lowes and it didn't take long before i was scheduled for the installation. Our tech, David, came out and did a fantastic job. He was knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. If all the staff is as good as David, then i highly recommend this company.

as you can see by other reviews, they just do not communicate properly. the 48 hour call-to-schedule promised was not delivered on. They did not respond to voicemails and then miscommunicated via email. They re-arranged twice to perform the installation, I cancelled with them after the 3rd occasion and taking a day off work to stay home for the no show. No kitchen faucet install was possible within a two week window, so left without water for two weeks.

I purchased a dishwasher which was scheduled to be installed by R&R Plumbing. They noticed the dishwasher was damaged, so instead of calling me and resolving the matter, they left and returned the dishwasher to the store.
They scheduled to come back 1 week later to install the Wednesday before Thanksgiving from 4pm to 6pm. They arrived at the store and could not find the dishwasher, so instead of asking the Manager, they left and went home. I spoke to the Store Manager and he said they never asked for him in order to find the dishwasher.
I called R&R at 5:10pm when I found out they weren't coming and of course they were closed for the holidays.
Very disappointed that I waited 2 times and they never installed the dishwasher. I wish they would have called me both times when they had a challenge instead of just leaving.
I will never use them in the future!

From what I have read this company needs its license revoked I purchase two toilets from Lowes and R&R Plumbing was the installer Jake Riggs  first toilet looks good in half bath but the main bath the installer ask us to review first install but not the second toilet he finished up and left after he left we noticed cracks and round octagon shape area that was cracked further investigation reveal area looks like something was drop on it and the installer filled the area with caulking really but I called Lowe's, had many conversations with customer service never was called back. They said the before and after pictures didn't show any damage.  Really!! someone covering there butt

How is this company still in business? We moved into a new home in which appliances were purchased from Lowes and installed by R&R in March 2019. The framing around the microwave did not fit and they were supposed to order the correct part and install. It is now October 2019 and we still do not have the framing. R&R has not returned calls or emails to us or Lowe's, showed up on a random Saturday unannounced and took the previous framing around the microwave off to order the new one and we haven't seen or heard from them since. 7 months for a microwave frame is absolutely absurd. We will never hire Lowe's installation ever again.

Don't bother doing business here, apparently these folks have no idea how to communicate.
We contracted a microwave installation through Lowes and they assigned R&R.  We were supposed to receive a call within 48 hours to schedule.  We got nothing. After calls to Lowes and escalations through them we got a call from an unlisted number and Sarah left a message to call her back.  Returned her call within 5 minutes and they couldn't be bothered to pick up.  Called daily and left messages the rest of the week.  Finally gave up and called Lowes to get our money back.  And of course who calls us a little while after our cancellation order? Yes, it's Sarah finally deciding to return a phone call.
Maybe they are great plumbers or installers or whatever, guess I will never know.  But if you can't manage to call a customer to schedule an appointment until they have given up and cancelled the order, then you must not care about having their business.

Most of your large corporations use people that give them the best quotes. That means they out source, that doesn't mean they're the best people or do the best work. I'm going to get my $35 dollars back from my local Lowe's today!

It's been over a week and someone from R&R was supposed to call me within two days from my purchase. Even the people at Lowes know R&R aren't very good!

I'll be going to a local appliance store and small business owner. This is proof we need to support our small local businesses.
I'm going to try to get to corporate, I had to do that with Home Depot years ago, now I'm doing it with Lowes?

We worked with R&R to install a dishwasher after purchasing it from Lowe's.  The initial install tech was prompt, very friendly, and we were happy with the experience.  However, immediately after he left, we noticed the water pressure in our kitchen sink had dropped drastically.  To make sure it wasn't a larger problem, we checked all other faucets, showers, etc.  The kitchen sink was the only issue.  Thankfully, the technician had left two cards - one for R&R plumbing and another that included a message from the President of the company, along with his personal phone number, which we were instructed to call if we had any quality issues.

Four messages later, I still had not heard from anyone at the company or the President.  I finally received a response via a web ticket I submitted and had someone scheduled between 1p-6p (!) the next day.

The second technician showed up and mentioned that he thought our water pressure issue was due to the kitchen sink faucet being dirty and gummed up.  I told him I thought it was a pretty weird coincidence that the same day the dishwasher was installed that the faucet became so clogged that it barely worked - the technician didn't think so, though.  He also informed me that the first technician SHOULD have installed another line/valve so that we could cut the water to the dishwasher if it leaked, but also still use the sink, refrigerator ice maker, etc.  But before he could remedy that mistake, he needed to head to his truck to call it in.  My wife and I thought he was just making a call and coming back, but when we looked outside again, he was gone.

After two MORE calls and another web ticket, I still had not heard back from R&R.  Finally, I called Lowe's over the weekend and let them know.  They put me on hold and reached out to R&R directly.  Lowe's came back on and said I'd hear from someone at R&R within 24 hours (since it was a weekend).  We're now two days later and I've still not heard from anyone at R&R.

This place gets two stars because the two technicians were friendly and on time.  But in my opinion, neither performed the jobs they were sent to do.  The customer service and response time for this company is terrible and NEVER call back.  As for the President - don't list your phone number for quality issues if you never intend to respond to any of them.

The installation process was great.  AJ was very professional, friendly and obviously knew what he was doing.  
However,  trying to communicate with R&R Plumbing is impossible.     The automated email setting an appointment time had a tab to click with comments or questions.  Didn't work. No phone number listed.  Can't reply to email.  After getting a number from Lowe's I called and got  a recorded promise to call back. Never did.  
Again, the installation of my dishwasher went smoothly but I am having someone else install my microwave. I purchased both from Lowes on July 1 and just got my dishwasher installed today.  July 31.

The most pathetic excuse for a business I have ever dealt with.  I purchased a new garbage disposal at Lowe's and installation has to go through this company. Nearly 2 weeks of calls/voicemails went unreturned. Over a week later I finally got my disposal installed, but it started leaking badly shortly thereafter. I have again tried calling them countless times to have this repaired but they simply do not answer calls or have any incentive to complete assigned jobs. I have wasted enough time at this point and will now be demanding a refund from Lowe's. I will also be filing a complaint with the NC Better Business Bureau against both companies. It is absolutely mind boggling to me how companies can get away with this kind of service these days. Completely unacceptable

I actually had a great experience with this company. I bought all new appliances for my kitchen. I received an email two days after my purchase informing me that I was scheduled for my dishwasher and microwave installation in 2 weeks. The sales guy at Lowe's said it would probably be a couple of weeks due to the huge Memorial Day sale they had just had. I was okay waiting since my old appliances still worked. I received an email the day before my scheduled installation to remind me of my appointment. The tech Kenneth called 45 mins before coming out and it was within the timeframe I was scheduled for. Kenneth was very polite and professional and did a great job or installing and checking to make sure everything worked the way it should and cleaned up everything before leaving. I don't know about their customer service by phone but I was very happy with the process.

Unfortunately I cannot give a good review. Appointments can only be made by emailing back-and-forth. They provide no phone number for any changes. Some one was scheduled to come yesterday to install my cooktop, but no one showed up. When I called Lowe's I was told that my product wasn't even in the store yet. I don't know what happened and cannot investigate since there is no phone number.

Terrible company.  Ask Lowes to use a different company if you are having something installed!  This company called me and scheduled my install for an afternoon.  The technician didn't have the correct time and didn't even know where the appliance was for the install.  Their office called me, didn't know where it was either...the woman seemed very confused when she called.  Also, Lowes had the same install time I had when I called Lowes to see what was going on because the company stopped answering their phones.  At noon the day of the install the office said they would still try and get it done that day.   I then get a call 4 days later to reschedule!!!!!!!!  I simply called the store the day it was supposed to be installed and it was still sitting at the store...I cancelled the install and didn't myself.  Avoid this company if you can!

Terrible company. Actually calling to speak with someone is difficult since you have to make it through the automated system and then hope someone will answer you.

If Lowes tells you this is the company you need to work with you should stop right there and look elsewhere for install help. My appliances were delivered but couldn't be installed for over a week since they were busy. Ok I understand I took a date scheduled for a week later and took off work to stay home since the window given was from 8am-1pm. I confirmed the day before and was confirmed for that window.

No one came and no one called me. Finally got in touch with someone at 2:30 that day and there was absolutely no apology just an oh someone's helper called out and it got busy so we could get someone to you between 4-6.

Terrible experience with this company. I guess the actual installer who came was nice but they need better staff answering phones and scheduling people. Unacceptable.

I purchased a microwave from Lowe's in Concord, NC on Friday, March 9.  I have yet to get an installation date for the microwave.  I have returned the call from R & R several times and asked that I be called on my cell phone.  Instead, they call my home which I am never there during the work week.  I am at a loss for words how you even get in touch with anyone at this company.  If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

This company does not do under mount sink installation. Funny thing is, we just paid Lowe's $300 to install a sink we purchased from them and the Customer Service agent, who shall remain nameless, said this company was great and could install. The R&R agent called 3 days later to set up the appointment, got all the information and when  I told her under mount....she says, oh yeah, we don't do those. So my question was, well did that not indicate this on the work order. She says, we don't know what type of installation it is until we call the customer. So what did I just pay for? See something wrong here? Be aware

Have had nothing but outstanding service from this company. They did 2 jobs for us: one subcontracted through Lowe's and one that we arranged for ourselves. The price for installing an extra gas line and gas range was 30% below the price that Piedmont Natural Gas wanted--and the job was done on time.

I have had them do a variety of plumbing work on my house- running gas lines, installing gas appliance and plumbing repairs. They have been prompt, reasonably priced and let you know in advance of the cost. I will call them again in the future when I have plumbing needs.

Terrible experience! I bought a dishwasher through Lowe's. I had two conformation calls that R&R Plumbing would be at my house to do the installation between 1 and 6 PM. I stepped outside onto my front porch to have a conversation with a neighbor and I didn't hear the phone. I returned the call to find the technician cancelled the appointment because I missed the call. For reasons beyond my understanding they wouldn't turn the tech around or provide the service at the end of the day. I was told by Lowe's that protocol is to come to the door even after a missed call. I was on the phone all afternoon trying to get someone to the house so I wouldn't have to miss another day at work. It cost me a days work plus I need to try this all over again with a different contractor tomorrow.

I better not take a shower between now and then for fear of missing a call again! If I continue to buy through Lowe's I will definitely refuse R&R  plumbing as a subcontractor.

I have been using RR Plumbing since 1980 & they are truly fantastic in their customer service & high level of plumbers.  I just had them take out a noisy flushometer toilet & install a quiet American Standard Pro Champion & it was done swiftly, professionally & neatly.  The Master Plumber Randy also was decent enough to put a neat piece of cardboard around the missing tile & used Guerilla Tape to seal it.  The price was right & the finished product great!

I totally agree with Rust K. they are a terrible company.!!! Lowes  set up  an appointment for an assessment  for a vanity counter I wanted installed in my bathroom. they called me on 10/11/18 & said they could come out on 10/22/18 between (8 &1). well they never called or showed up. My husband waited all morning & afternoon & I kept my phone with me expecting a call nothing. I called them to see what was going on kept getting VM & no one would  answer. I reported to Lowes the next day what happened & Lowes gave them a call & was told   that they could not get in touch with me please!. no missed calls nothing, carried phone around with me all day they never  even tried!!! I asked Lowes cancel the order it was apparent they did not want my business. never again unless Lowes uses another contractor.

STAY FAR AWAY. My fiancé and I purchased a kitchen sink from Lowe's about a week and a half ago. We receive a call a few days later from this company saying they were going to show up for install between 1-6PM yesterday (1/26). I took a half day off of work so someone could be here when they showed up. 4-5PM rolls around and they call my fiancé saying they ran into a problem with a water heater install with another customer and wouldn't be at our house until 7PM. Fine, not a big deal, we're pretty understanding and realize things happen. He receives yet another phone call now stating they're not going to be able to make the appointment, but they will be at our house 8am sharp the next morning.  Well, it's now past 9AM and they are STILL not here.  We called the office, phone rang once and then went straight to voicemail. No follow up phone call, no explanation, NOTHING. We cleared our schedule yesterday for them to do the install and are now stuck waiting around having to rearrange our plans yet again because this company refuses to communicate with their customers.  Extremely unprofessional.

I purchased a microwave from Lowe's and they sent out this so called company? I should have had my 10 year old son do it. It took over 3 weeks to get someone to install it and then I come home to a lose bolt in the cabinet and wood us all my new stove and in my cabinets. I call and complained they acted like they could care less. So after Lowe's called them they made it a priority to come out. They took pictures and said that they could believe one of their installers would do this. After taking pictures and talking to a supervisor the guy tells me that they will pay for another one and install it. Weeks have gone by and Lowe's calls me to for a follow up. They said they haven't even ordered one. After many attempts to call me and Lowe's finally get a answer. They said they didn't install it/ damage it so they aren't going to replace it. Lowe's was more pissed than myself. She believes Lowe's will done with these so call installers. I know I'll go without before I'd have to deal with this company again.

So far this has been the most unprofessional service I have ever received while in the CONSUMERS role! I should have simply installed it myself because while not certified myself I'm still very well versed in this action and would have saved us all quite a STILL ONGOING headache! Lowes Home Improvement is also at fault for some of this miscommunication for not putting the correct phone number in the correct slot for the install and for TRUSTING THIS CON-pany to begin with! After days of phone tag and VM where EVERYTIME I called back with the tenants number to call but NO ONE EVER answers at R&R's 866 # and so I leave another VM, still getting ANOTHER call back myself the next day because no one is apparently Checking THEIR VM at R&R to get the tenants! Chelsea it was I believe repeatedly left ME VM, I left messages BACK with both her extension at their office with correct info to call AS WELL AS at the main office number. No one EVER called my tenant! Days pass with me being called repetitively! I finally had to have HER call and she spent 45 minutes setting it up. THAT should have been my FIRST clue to not do business with them! They don't check VM correctly! From MY TENANT DIRECTLY:

They were scheduled to come between 1-6 yesterday. (12-27) Already that was very inconvenient and I had to miss an important client meeting at work, as well as rearrange everything to be home during that time.

Obviously, it was worth it so I made it happen. The guy called me once or twice during the day saying that he was running late due to emergencies.

I had plans last night, but had to cancel them when he called me again at 7:30 saying he wouldn't be here until about 8:30.

Then nothing so I called him at 9:30pm (!!) to see what on earth was taking so long. No answer, but he called me back and said that he'd been sent to another emergency, that his supervisor was supposed to have notified me and that he wasn't coming.
Needless to say, no one else called me to explain or apologize.

I talked with them this morning (12/28) and it's scheduled, again, for being 1-6. So, again, I'll be waiting.
This morning they were very short and very unresponsive to my frustration.
I'm losing ANOTHER day of work time and the income that would bring.

Oh JUST WAIT! It gets WORSE.... they showed up in the last 1/2 hour of that window....

After I checked in with her afterwards to ask what his name was? (he didn't say)
What paperwork was left as proof THEY did install it professionally? (NONE! other than the manual)
What time frame did they show up in? (Last 1 1/2 hour of the 2nd time scheduled window- thankfully they showed up)
Did they test run it? NO!!!!!

Also note: This is a FISHER PAYKEL double drawer dishwasher (a TOP dollar machine!!!!) and THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING! I let my tenant know I'd be calling Lowes install team cause I do not believe they sent a Fisher Paykel CERTIFIED installer to my house in NC! I currently live in Seattle but was THERE in person for the holidays I could have (& now I see-should) done this install myself if using someone NOT certified to begin with and save the $140 fee!!!!

Please do. I'm worried it's not in right. Didn't know how to put in the silverware trays or put them together.
Obviously couldn't instruct me how to use the washer.

It's ok, I'll read the manual and figure it all out.

I'm sure it'll be great.

Don't understand the dishwasher at all yet, but I'll study the manual and learn. The installer had absolutely no idea about how to put it together or so I hope he got it in correctly.

There was a lot of ...something in the pipes that spayed everywhere and smells horrible! The guy didn't mean for it to happen. I'm going to clean now.

Clearly that spraying happens in installs with pipes being replaced and previous machines being removed so you'd come prepared as an installer to clean up. NOPE! Not with this company, HE DIDNT DO HIS OWN JOB! He didn't CLEAN up after his hopefully proper (yet still unverified) - installation mess! Left my tenant who has three dogs and 7 puppies at home to care for- to do HIS finish JOB! Just left! I am LIVID!

They Didn't do a test run, didn't show her how to use it....didn't EVEN KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING when putting it together. He ACTUALLY SAID THAT TO HER IN PERSON! Had it have been ME there hearing that I would have immediately shown him the door.... My tenant didn't know what else to do since PRO's are there- at least it's in... RIGHT? NO not okay! HE Left a mess behind after showing up days later than they should have!
We STILL don't even know if it's WORKING DAYS LATER and properly installed because the installer DID NOT TEST IT! If I could give NEGATIVE 5 stars I would cause this is RIDICULOUS that this is a professional install service!

I have more to say but out of room!

So I bought a dishwasher at Lowes in Fort Mill across from Baxter on Wednesday 12-27. I was told I would hear back from R and R plumbing within 2 days. So Friday 12-29 at 5:30 I gave up and just installed it myself that night. Today 1-3 a week later I finally got a call from them wanting to schedule the install. I chuckled and said that it had already been installed last week. They just hung up no reply or anything. Not very professional. I would have at least thought they would have apologized and explained why the delay. If they had done that I might have skipped the review here. I wish I would have read all of these before buying. Now I know.

R&R Plumbing did work for us sub-contracted through Lowes Hardware. R&R does great work and stands behind  their service.  Rep that came to house (Walt) was very professional and courteous. Had to call in to company and was very impressed with the employees' strive to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. Spoke with female S. Zenes. I would highly recommend R&R for plumbing needs.

They came out to repair a water leak at my house and caused more damage than they needed to find the leak and when they did figure out how to fix the leak, which when they came I had already found the problem and took them 4 hours and 7 holes in my sheet rock to tell me I was right, they bypassed the leaking water line and didn't cap off the old line and caused a flood in my house and said they would pay for repairs and then they just stopped answering the phone when it came time to actually pay to fix the damage. I had to jump through hoops to get their insurance info and now finally my get the damage fixed a month later. This company is trash. Will never do business with them again and I would recommend you find another plumbing company as well!

I had a hole in my water line in the kitchen and it was late in the afternoon. I called R&R Plumbling and they came out in less than an hour. Right away on the phone they understood the urgency saying 'we have to get your water turned back on!' This was much appreciated after calling numerous companies and having people laugh or giggle at our situation or the a tech not returning a call at all. They arrived and were very nice, courteous, professional, and fixed our problem in 20 minutes! I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

I reviewed R&R in Nov.  My review was not good but honest, which R&R is not.  The rep called and asked me to do a review, saying if I did I would get a gift card to use at Lowes.  I guess they only give the gift cards to people who give good reviews.

I was very pleased with the plumber (Mike) who worked on a basement leaking problem at my house today.  He diagnosed the problems, explained them carefully, and fixed them efficiently. I will definitely use R & R Plumbing again.
