Sunday night my sink started leaking and flooded into my kitchen floors. Monday morning as soon as John's opened I called to try and get someone to come out and they told me the next available appointment was Thursday. I told them that was fine I would just shove the pipe back up in the sink and clean everything up and wait until then. They then called me Tuesday saying they had an opening so I said great, left work and went home. The service guy arrived at my house at 3:45pm which I then explained to him I have galvanized piping and my sink has done this 3-4 times now. He opened my cabinet looked under my sink which I had already cleaned up and shoved the pipe back up which I explained and within one minute turned to me and said there's nothing he can do if there's no leak, mind you, at this point he didn't even turn the water on. So that is my first frustration then he proceeds to tell me a car reference about fixing things that aren't broke, which didn't help. He was out of my door 6 minutes later 3:51pm with no solution given to me at all just saying nothing to do if it's not currently leaking and I still needed to pay the $106 service fee. I get business is business but I also do not feel like looking at something and not touching anything in the 6 short minutes he was at my house was acceptable to come to a solution or should I say no solution. I called and spoke to a manager the next day and explained the situation and asked if I was expected to leave standing water on my floor and under my sink so then maybe they could point out a problem since they don't investigate over a minute and all she talked about was the service fee is expected no matter the outcome then put me on hold for almost 10 minutes just to tell me they would waive the fee and not to call John's plumbing for any further services. I found this very unprofessional and wouldn't want to use a service who doesn't seem to deal with problems or have customer service anyways.

VERY OVER PRICED!  A house guest called to get the toilet fixed without my knowledge.  The guest told me after the fact, I was upset at the guest and the fact Johns never called me, but figured I would pay the bill when it came in.  

THEY CHARGED $400 TO FIX THE TOILET!  The part should of been $20 plus there mark up but they said it cost $90 because the part was special order but it was only the model number on the toilet that changed names and so did the part number.  I found it on the manufacturer's website in 10 minutes.  

They charged me $60 to find the part as well, when I asked them about this they said it probably took 30 minutes to drive to get the part, I said that's $2 a minute! He responded Plumbing's Expensive.  

They are expensive when they are not overcharging the time, or for products but when they do both it is ridiculous.  In the end they charged me $65 service fee, $63 to work on the commode and find the part, $135 for the part and shipping, and $135 to install.

They knocked some off the bill so at least it would of cost the same amount to buy a new toilet and have it installed but still over-priced.  I told them in the future not to do any work until they talked to me.   I WILL NOT CALL THEM AGAIN!

If their pitch line is We treat our customers like family then I know I am the red headed step child of the family.  Their customer service department is less than informative. Calling at 10am for an appointment that day wasn't a problem for the customer service provider on the other end.  At 7pm when no one had shown up and calling back to find out no appointment had been made and that I would now be charged for after hours and weekend rate.  The service technicians were very nice and did a great job.

Unacceptable service.  Charged over $300 to look at our a/c unit and top off the freon.  Did not fix the issue at hand, did not locate the problem.  Unprofessional.

If you want to pay a thousand dollars for a $200 job call John's.  They even have 24 hour service available to rip you off day or night!!!!   You get to pay them $90 to drive out and sell you as much as they can whether you need it or not!   They don't actually DO anything for the $90, it is for the privilege of having a plumber tell you that you need a plumber.   Amazing!  

If you love paying four times than it should cost for work you don't really need, call John's!!!  They are the best!!!

Probably would've been better if they actually did anything. a follow up with a /professional left us with an actual prognosis, John's plumbing might as well have hit it with a wrench and shrugged.

THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Nothing wrong with the service. They treat their employees like garbage. Horrible management!!!! Definitely will not be using them again, until they learn how to treat people. YOU CANNOT TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES LIKE SLAVES.

Very bad customer service. I had a appointment with Johns HVAC and they never called so I called at the end of the day and they said they would get here. But I had a evening appointment so that was not going to work. So I lost a day of work waiting on them. So I rescheduled for next morning at 8am they showed up late. Making me lose another 1/2 day of work. They had told me the appointment would take 1 and 1/2 hours for spring maintenance he was here less than 1 hr. I don't know what he did, for what he said he did, did not happen. I will use them this year for my fall maintenance just because I had paid them in advance. But once the contract is over, I will not be using them. Very disrespectful, they don't care, and and could not even pick up the phone to call. I even had to call the next morning. I'm very disappointed and I DO NOT recommend them.

Jordan and Chris did a fabulous job repairing two water leaks I had.  They were very respectful and found the problem right away.  It was a hard fix, but they went right to it and went out of their way to make sure everything was fixed right.  Thank you again!!

BEWARE!!! We used this company to replace a leaking hot water heater. Since then our plumbing has been an absolute wreck. They have been back 4 times in 3 days to fix the water pressure, toilets not filling and hammering noises in the faucets and they just can't seem to get it right. I'm calling a different plumber today, I will not allow anyone from this company back into my house. Earlier today, a plumber showed up to take a look at our ongoing problems and ended up yelling at me and my my husband and tried to make it seem as if we had caused the problem with our own faucets. He got very upset while in our home, to the point of screaming at the top of his lungs, until my husband asked him to leave. I reported this to the head estimator at John's plumbing and he could not have cared any less. He told me that they have no intentions of fixing the problems they have created. The City of High Point inspector came this morning and inspected their work and he agreed that it was sub-par. He also stated that the problems we are now experiencing with our plumbing is a direct result of the work completed by John's plumbing. But John's plumbing refuses to fix it.

Seriously, save yourself the trouble of dealing with these people and find yourself another plumber, just keep shopping, these aren't your people. John's Plumbing Heating and Air is not a reliable company. Their customer service is deplorable. They do not stand behind their work. Their plumbers will come into your home, insult you and scream at you in front of your children.

These guys are charlatans and crooks. Basically like those car mechanics who will try to sell you a new engine to fix a dead battery. They were paid to diagnose a problem and fix it but instead said it had to be replaced and refused to fix it. Frustrated and cold now for several days, I called for a second opinion. The 20 yr hvac veteran arrived, diagnosed and fixed the unit in less than 20 min. When i called back to John's they stood by their tech and offered no compensation for their error and waste of my time.

I don't know whats happened to John's Plumbing, but I am a property manager and have used them for years.  The last three or four calls for plumbing work have been failures.  One was a water pipe leak and they had to return a second time to do the job right.  I was stood up for the next two appointments.  One was a special water heater they said needed replacement for $4,000.  They never contacted me back and when I called about the quote and replacement they just gave me the brush off.  Ok I get it.  They don't want to do the work.  Had a different plumbing company make a repair for $600. Hmm didn't need a new water heater after all. The last and third time, I made an appointment a week in advance.  Confirmed the appointment the day they were to come out.  John's said no problem they would be there.  No show. I called them at the end of the day, they said no guarantee they would be there; but asked how about the next day.  Nope, I'm done!  The guy on the phone didn't care.  Just gave me his one liner and no apology.  It's unfortunate but companies like this get to big for their britches and have so many customers, it doesn't matter to them who they step on.

Our experience with this business deserves no stars. Called to have them come fix a leaky sink sprayer because our house was going on the market and we had already moved. The guy showed up outside of the agreed time frame, wrong day and time right when a realtor was showing the house. He tells us the sprayer hose is leaking... we already knew that. Then says he can't even fix it because he can't find the part. We knew that a replacement hose was available at Lowes or Home Depot because we've replaced it before, just a universal hose would do. He then says he will have to call around and find the part and will get back to us.. never heard from him again. A friend was able to fix it for us in the end, turns out the hose wasn't even broken, just needed some tightening up and a new washer. So this plumber couldn't figure that out? I'm guessing he didn't even try but they want $90 for the service call. Terrible service!!

John's plumming did a great job on gas line installation on our brand new house .The customer service was excellent from the begining to the end . Contractors  arrived right on time and It takes them no time to complete the job. Everything was done on time and with a smile.We called several companys,before we made  decision to hire John's plumbing and price was much better, then other companys quoted us also it was easy to set up appointment and they have someone available right away and understand sense of urgency.We will use them service again in a future.5 stars and  highly recommended!

NEVER USE THESE CON MEN!  Had a leaking water heater due to another plumber messing up his job earlier this week. (They put the pressure/heat too high and the valve was leaking.) Johns Plumbing charged me $213.00 and said it was fine to use now. Turns out their fine was simply turning it off. Not fixing. Not relieving the pressure. Just turning it off. It was an hour later when I realized they had done this. I called them back and they told me that they had said to me that their fixing was going to be only turning it off. They did not tell me this. They lied. Why would I agree to paying $213.00 for something I could have done simply by unplugging it? They said if I wanted for them to come back out they would have to charge us more again. I ended up arguing with the operator that they had not done what they said they did. SHE ENDED UP HANGING UP ON ME. I called her back AND THEY WILL NOT ANSWER.

NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY TOOK ME FOR A SUCKER. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.
