I would recommend Charlotte Plumbing & Repair to everyone in Charlotte. I found a professional plumber I trust for emergencies and for plumbing repair jobs that I don't want to do. My cost for service and repairs are always reasonable and I know exactly what I am getting from the get go. They show up when they say they will. They have been respectful and take the time to explain everything so there are no surprises on the invoice. They are courteous and respectful to you and your property, cleaning up thoroughly after the job.

We called Charlotte Plumbing & Repair in a plumbing emergency, and they were on the job in just about an hour. Their fast response time saved us from additional damage-- that's why we will always call them first.

I'm not sure how this company has received the reviews it's gotten. I called about a garbage disposal. It seemed clogged up to me and needed to be clear. With little experience myself and two very young kids I needed help with figuring out what to do. The most I could get out on estimates was they thought it was broken and I should replace it, which could cost up to $290, or $70 for a site evaluation. I give them credit for being prompt. I did a little more research and thought the prices kind of high. I called back to ask how much it would be just to clear the clog or fix it and she said they estimate pricing on site. (Christina) So, I figure, they would base the estimate on time of service. The dispatcher shows up and asked if I wanted it replaced or fixed. Well, I'd hope for $70 they would figure that out for me and I can go from there. There wasn't any evaluation, I just told him please fix it if he could and he unclogged it in about 2 mins. From a screw no doubt fell in there when I tried to keep it away from my toddler. . Anyways, he priced me at $150 plus tax. At this point I could be wrong but I felt this pricing was insane for no more than 5 minutes of time. I asked if he could break this down for me. If $70 was the evaluation/ visit fee then it was $80 for 5 mins of time? Also, is this a price they are charging flat, as if the service took 8 hours are those people getting the best deal of their life at only $150 + tax for 8 hours of service?
I asked to speak with someone and he told me I could talk to dispatch. Who previously told me, the dispatcher comes up with the pricing. At this point, I was incredibly uncomfortable and feeling taken advantage of. We call the dispatcher but of course she didn't answer because he called her in that moment. He came back and said the lowest was $110 +tax. Ok, paid it. Still felt high but better than being anymore uncomfortable. The whole thing felt wrong. I'm disappointed in my service. 2 stars just for being efficient. Customer service (Christina) wasn't pleasant the second time I called either. Working in the service industry myself, I stayed kind out of respect, but I am disappointed.

These guys are great!!! Had a stoppage in my house and called Charlotte Plumbing and Repair.  They came out an hour after I called. Fixed my stoppage and even gave me advice on a future project and told what to do to save a thousand bucks. The price was just right too. They actually fixed a botched job that Roto-Rooter did. If you have a plumbing job and you want the job done right at a reasonable price, call Charlotte Plumbing. You won't be disappointed.

Quite concerned about stars this company has been receiving. Not only did we receive poor customer service, but we were also faced with the company's inability to comply with its contractual obligations, unsatisfactory and partial performance by its employee (Kevin), and the company's inability to provide relief to damages caused to the property by the employee. This company does not deserve the praise that they have been receiving and this should serve as a warning to those considering using its services. Legal action will be taken in order to recover damages.

Did come quickly but we paid dearly.  Very over priced for amount and kind of work.  Would only call if could not find another plumber.  They charged us on a Friday midday as if we had called late in the evening or weekend.
