Very thorough and professional service. They were able to work me in same day after I discovered a leak I didn't know the source.  They figured out quickly and fixed it right.  Replaced old cast iron with PVC from original toilet drain.   Replaced floor mount and wax ring.  Cutting old cast iron took the longest and is very noisy. But had to be done.

We have used their services a few times and they are always on time or are able to arrive earlier. Repairs are done efficiently and are reasonably priced. Our latest repairmen Bill and Josh were friendly and professional.

Two incompetent young men came out to fix a leak. Ended up making the leak worse than before they arrived.

Then left and left some of their tools behind which I had to make arrangements for them to get returned.

Was billed close to 400 bucks for them to make the leak worse.

We needed a plumber on a Sunday and could not have asked for better service. The plumber was efficient and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this plumbing company.

These crooks sent a man (Harvey) out here to my house on his 1st day. They charge $85 an hour and this guy tinkers for 3 hours before he calls in help. The 2nd guy (Bill) said my problem was one of two things and told the rookie to check on the price and call me back. of course I never heard anything. The 1st guy knocked off an hour of his diddling but still ripped me off $200 and I still have the same problem. I called a different plumber and he told me what my problem was over the phone. Bodenheimer never called to see if I was satisfied or to let me know what the prices were of the parts they thought might be bad. Call Bodeneimers if you want to get ripped off.

Not happy with the lady I spoke with to schedule a service call. First I had to wait for her to get back from lunch for her to call me back so that she could tell me they couldn't come out for a week. Leaks really can't wait a week. Really wasted time waiting to hear have from her. She didn't offer anything after hours nor did she offer to let me know if they had a cancellation sooner - she was just really dismissive and basically kind of rude. First impressions are important.

Unfortunately, in the three years since we bought our home, we've had a rash of plumbing issues. We have had running/broken toilets, shower leaks coming through the kitchen ceiling, a water main burst in our front yard, sewer blockages, and on and and on... It's been very trying. The service from Bodenheimer Plumbing has been the only good part of any of it. When the water main was broken, we had water squirting through our basement wall and flowing across the floor. Bodeneheimer had someone come out to our house right away and diagnose the issue, and they were working on it early the next day - they already had the city do some marking (so they could dig) and they were busy putting in a new main water line. The home insurance company was still offering us confusing/worthless advice when the job was already done. When we had (one) of our sewer blockages, there was an experienced plumber there quickly on Sunday and he got the job done quickly. Now, I'm very comfortable calling Bodenheimer every time the next mess hits; it feels like we are in the business of maintaining this old house together.

Terrible Company To Work For Or To Order Service From! Would Give Zero Stars If Possible.

If I could give ZERO stars I would ! I know most would say I probably shouldn't be so upset since it isn't my money being spent being it's the complex I live in who pays for it but I had to live in this mess they made! We had a shower leak that went into our closet and the owner of the company came and said the problem was the pipe in the drain of the shower and that in order to fix it the entire shower would have to be replaced. We wait two weeks for the shower to ever come in that was ordered. When it finally arrives the two guys they sent out when asked after they removed the old shower did they find the leak looked at us as if we were crazy and claimed they were told nothing of a leak that it was just to replace the shower. They then became frustrated and upset with the situation I guess and the fact that the shower was order as a entire unit not to be put in piece by piece like a bath fitter. So they just walk out after getting their stuff don't say anything so we only knew they were done for the day via landlord. The second day they come back and practically had to disassemble my house to get the shower in they took off the front door, bathroom door, and bedroom to get it inside, along with removing my couch from the home. The owner apparently didn't measure the shower. After we heard non stop cussing and complaining about the shower not fitting and all they get it in and installed but it is actually 3 feet smaller than the original shower and definitely noticeable as well as they replaced a handicapped shower with a fully handicapped shower so it has only one shower head which makes it very hard and awkward to shower. They finish what they had to do and literally walk out again once done didn't say anything. I assumed it was finished and I text my landlord to let them know it was done so they could come look. Well upon waiting on them i discovered the tile along with the wall around the shower and toilet are completely ruined the sheet rock and installation is visible and tile is not fixed after being ruined. Well apparently they told the landlord they would NEVER come back to fix anything else in this complex cause of how hard it was due to their own bosses fault. They put my doors back on backwards and left things strewn around the bedroom and bathroom along with throwing away some of my stuff in the bathroom trash to hide they used my towels to clean up some of their mess. The landlord asked if they could fix something and they said we can reinstall it but it will cost you extra and they said wasn't that in the estimate? And they said nope ! So indeed up having to get someone else out to fix the walls and tile because they claim it was stated in the estimate that they don't repair sheet rock or tile damage. The landlord didn't see this but not only did they tear that up they also tore the carpet up in the bedroom, scratched the tv, scratched the chest of drawers all up, and threw clothes basket, a chair, and other things from the bathroom and bedroom onto my mothers hospital bed. Thankfully I can help her move the stuff but they had no regard for our things along with I swear they rummaged the things in the bedroom but I was smart and put all the things worth anything up and kept our medication with us the entire time. Don't hire these people or trust them because clearly they seem to have sticky fingers if anything is valuable. They have no regard for your things and have yet to heard about any compensation on the damages they cause outside the drywall which is for my landlord to sort out but my personal belongings I would like compensated because they didn't move those and said they wouldn't be in the way. They were too frustrated about their bosses mistake that they didn't care what they tore up and were bound and determined that shower was going to fit somehow along with never finding the leak and tried to blame it on the ceiling maybe and I said not possible being it only happens when we shower and it wasn't raining any of the times this happened but it didn't seem to be taken serious I guess cause I'm a woman and don't know what I'm talking about
Seriously save your money use someone else or you'll end up spending a fortune and having major stress from it.

Plumber arrived several hours late, cased our my house and took a chest full of money. When I called owner, he had his staff call to tell me to call the police. Owner refused to return any of my calls or cover the loss, despite the fact that I caught him looking through my bathroom closet and his hasty departure leaving many things undone. Absolutely no doubt in my mind that he was a thief.

Beware: They will charge you for a visit, even if just an estimate.

Let me explain one-star rating.

Called on a Wed because main water line was leaking into basement, and in the meantime, my water was shutoff to prevent more leaking. I needed a solution. Bod sent a guy the following day. His visit lasted 10 minutes. He looked at the problem, made a phone call, and told me that his estimator would need to call me back - It was a big job and he was not able to give an estimate without the big guy. Fair enough.  Then he charged me $105. I paid it, expecting a prompt estimate, and hopefully a solution to my plumbing issue.

Fast forward, 5 days - still no call back, no estimate. I called into the main line to ask, and was told that the estimator will call me back. He did, but said he was waiting on another sub contractor to call him back before he could give an estimate. Two days goes by, no call back.

I called to complain. Was told it would be handled quickly. Apologies.

Got the call, was told by the estimator that it would be another 5 days before he could give me an estimate. That's the best he could do.

Summary: $105 for a 10 minute visit, no call backs, and the promise of an estimate 12 days after. Terrible customer service. No urgency.

I'd heard they would be expensive, but didn't expect that type of customer service. Very disappointed.

This is really a warning for others. Our house was flooded with sewage due to a faulty backflow protector (which Bodenheimer had recently inspected), and the city hired the firm to camera our system and report back to them. After the report came through, we asked Bodenheimer to come to our house and explain the situation to us; they did so, and provided a quote for replacing our backflow protectors. They then incorrectly connected our washer (two minutes effort), and were on their way. Afterwards, they sent us an invoice claiming they'd spent 2.5 hours working with us and charged us for their quote - a cost of $243.75. We disputed (I would have been happy to pay for their time, but $250 felt unreasonable), but they wouldn't respond to emails or calls, and when I did talk to someone, they just read off the incorrect information on the invoice and told me I was in the wrong. Ultimately, they said they would prefer to take us to court versus adjust the invoice, so for $250, I just paid the bill. We've paid and have moved on (it wasn't that much money and it wasn't worth the headache!), but I really just want to warn other consumers about the way this Bodenheimer conducts itself so they don't end up in the same position. I was very reasonable, and really just wanted to get to a solution we both felt good about - but they were unwilling to have a conversation. I'd advise others to be careful going forward!
