Our landscape drains were clogged with roots, after having another company come out , charge us and not be able to clear drain. We were going to cut concrete and put in new drains. We had done this 15 years earlier! Ian was able to clear drains, that were clogged with roots. The job took them almost 4 hrs. , in the sweltering heat. The price was fair for the work done. Some things you just can't cheap out on! Our yard will be ready for winter, hoping for allot of much needed rain. Glad to know you guys do inside plumbing stops too, hope we never need that service . We're going to have a yearly service, and keep the drains clear.

I called Zoom Drain and Steve helped me get a technician out to unclog my drain quickly. He explained how long it would be and Chris Ballesteros showed up on time. Chris came to the door with a smile and was very friendly and courteous. He asked a number of questions and explained why he was checking certain things as he was doing them. He explained the options and after choosing he got right to work. He snaked the drain and had me take a look at the camera to see it was cleared. He had me check the washing machine and sink and then cleaned up after confirming things were working as expected. Great service, professional and friendly. My wife and I are so lucky to have found Sean to help us with an emergency plumbing issue at 7:30 PM on a Thursday night.
Bottom line here first: Sean drove an hour from Irvine and immediately assessed the problem and had it fixed that night for the firm fixed price he had quoted.
He had to break concrete in our laundry room to get access to the pipe that had burst, replace it and replace the concrete. After he had replaced the pipe, another pipe at another location in the room burst and he had to cut and replace that one also.
He worked from about 9:30 pm to 2:30 pm to get this done, with no additional after hours fee. Luckily my stepson works graveyard and was off that night, so he handled working with Sean for access and payment.
When I woke up this morning the water was back on so we could have showers and the area where the repairs were made was clean as a whistle.
Sean is a man of integrity. He stayed with this job until it was done and I am grateful to have met him and Zoom Drain.
I have used them multiple times are they are first class. Great communication, work ethic, and fair pricing.

I was always satisfied with zoom drain which is why I hired them again when I had clogged drains again. However, I left a bad review initially because this time I had them do two drains instead of one and didn't pay attention to the estimate. Amy the owner contacted me and helped me resolve my issue. This is how customer service should be and I regret not contacting them earlier before leaving my first review.
Zoom Drain is legit, we used them to unclog a drain at our restaurant. they were quick and professional I would ask for Devin every time that guy knows what he's doing.

We had an issue with a slow drain in our kitchen sink, and Rogers Gonzalez was our hero!! The day of our service, we received a call to let us know he was on his way. He was prompt on arrival and prepared a clean workspace. Rogers snaked our pipes and found some grease build up about 30 feet in. He recommended multiple treatments and we decided on the hydrojet to clear out the buildup. He did a very thorough job and allowed us to watch via the camera he sent down the pipe. He even repaired the leaky pipe under the sink! Our cleaned out pipes look as good as new. Rogers is very conversational, professional, knowledgeable, and even wiped down the floors before he left. Would highly recommend Rogers!!
Zoom Drain is the third service provider I called, they came quickly, suggested a good solution with a reasonable price, and within one hour, the drain problem is fixed.

I had an issue with my guest bathroom and after another plumbing service never returned a call or sent a plumber when they said they would (I waited all day), I gave Zoom a call the next day and Ian was here within a half hour.
Very friendly, he told me exactly what the problem was and showed me the part he needed to replace. Gave me an estimate and was nice enough to even give me a Senior discount (which helps). He even fixed another minor issue without charge.
I'd recommend these folks anytime!
I normally don't write yelp reviews, but my recent service was exceptional enough to warrant this one.
The past few rainy months have made it very apparent that our outdoor drains were clogged. We moved into the property a year ago and the outdoor landscaping is relatively large with over 30 outdoor drains that lead out to the front curb. We called Zoom Drain based on Yelp reviews and were able to book an appointment window the following day.
Two technicians came at 9:30am, the beginning of the window, and we went over the property and the issue. Ian Butters was the main technician and provided an initial estimate, but mentioned that depending on what the find, it may require additional work and price.
A couple hours into the job they assessed that the two main drainage points were blocked. Based on the camera equipment that they used, they identified a large rubber ball in one main drain, and large rocks that were clogging the other. After an attempt at flushing it out, they said the only option was repair.
This is where thing get exceptional. I hired plumbers, and this required some pretty major landscape repair. They quoted me and got right to work. Believe me, they WORKED. These guys were digging deep ditches in 90 degree heat with full sun exposure. They went above and beyond to fix the issue. The rubber ball was probably a croquet ball that has been deteriorating for 30 years and the rocks were actually 2 feet of cement. They had all the equipment they needed with them, they found the issue and fixed it, and they left the place spotless. They also kept me updated every step of the way.
Don't mess around with other plumbers and worry about if the job will get done. Get the experts. Get Zoom Drain.

They came out a couple weeks ago to service a tenant. Did a great job; I will update again in 6 months as that is their warranty. I plan on using them again should I need their help.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want to be shocked when they arrive to give you a quote for a simple drain cleaning. When the tech arrived, he quoted $298 to clear a simple bathroom vanity drain. Needless to say, they were turned away due to the cost, which did not seem to phase him. I guess there are people out there who actually pay what to me feels like a ransom!
I am sharing because people needing plumbing services should not have to waste time with a vendor who does provide a price estimate or a range. I mean this wasn't a broken pipe or a main line stoppage, which obviously would have cost more. Fortunately, I found a great OC vendor who was responsive, prompt, professional and cleaned the drain for what he quoted - $98. He sent me photos of what he took out and my invoice within minutes of finishing the job! I will be using him regularly for my units. People, especially now, do not need to be gouged.
$200 for a ten minute job that I could have done with an allen wrench which any reputable firm would have suggested before a service call...next time I'll go on you tube to find someone honest who's willing to help.

I don't think I've ever experienced a corporate plumbing company who has better customer service than Zoom Drain. Our branch line (between the kitchen and the main sewer line) has been backing up for ages and all the fixes I'd personally tried were only good for a few days, maybe a week before getting backed up again so we finally decided to get a professional in to deal with it. The team (office and technicians) were polite, knowledgeable and keen to listen. After advising a camera inspection to ascertain what was going on, cleared the blockage by jetting the inside of the pipes and provided the video recorded afterwards to show how everything looks. They did advise into getting the pipes descaled but there was NO hard sales pitch to do so, it was merely offered as a longer term solution to 50 year old pipes.
We've had a VERY troubling experience with one of the mainstream plumbing companies (who I would NEVER use again) and so was hesitant to use a corporate company again, but I'd seen the Zoom trucks in the neighborhood ... Without doubt Zoom will be my preferred company when things get too sticky for me to fix myself.
Plus, the owner is a veteran and I'm a massive proponent of supporting our veterans.

Excellent work by Ian for irrigation drain cleaning.
Professional and extremely knowledgeable. They are experts for drain cleaning, and come prepared with equipment to handle the toughest cases. I received a free estimate and decided to book.
Services performed: thoroughly cleaned out my irrigation drains, so I won't need to worry about clogged drains. Hydrojet, followed by snake camera to check for roots, and applied rootx to safely mitigate root growth in the drains. Finish off by cleaning up front yard to original condition. All done in 1hr.
Super satisfying to see all the sludge clear out, and left with immaculate pipes. Thank you Ian and zoom drain!
An honest company! A rep from zoom drain called me after I sent him a video that another company took of my sewer. The other company was pretty doom and gloom regarding my line but zoom said that there wasn't much wrong under the slab, only perhaps outside where some roots were getting into the line.
I'm a single female and it means a lot to see this kind of honesty. I would definitely recommend and use them in the future. All they do are sewers so they get it.

Zoom Drain did a great job about 2 months ago when I needed help with a kitchen sink backup. They were on time, and took care of the issue. I had to call them again today, for a problem seemingly connected to the first call. They came out right away (as a warranty call), and helped me out again - even though the issue turned out to be unrelated to the first call. I'm grateful for their fast response, clear communication, and willingness to stand-by their work.
We called for a backed up drain in our cafe. We had another company come out and they wanted $1600 to hydroblast our drains. We told him that was way too much and we'd try something else. We ended up calling Zoom Drains and they came right out. They said we could do either, have them snake it or hydroblast. Snake would be $209 & hydroblast was $309!! We were thrilled. They did a great job. They came back when we were closed to do it and they cleaned up all the mess!
They were the nicest guys & so reasonable! We now have a drain company we can trust!!
Paul did a great job clearing our 40 year old completely blocked landscape drains! Used a hydro jet to clear roots, dirt and sludge.
Helped fix a drain issue in master bathroom shower. They showed up ahead of schedule within 2 hours of my initial call. Fixed the problem and made recommendations on how to prevent further issues.
I was very impressed with our serviceman and his high standards of service, safety, and care to protect our home. He had a high level of expertise despite being on the young side, because he focuses solely on unclogging drains. I was impressed with the franchise procedures and their non-toxic product for preventing future clogs. We wish the bill was less expensive, but we were still very happy overall.

I used Zoom for the first time yesterday to unclog some underground landscape drainage pipes that have been clogged for many years, causing huge puddles every time it rained. Ed was the person who came to do the job. Ed was friendly and communicative, and was very thorough in showing me the different hoses and fittings he would be using to clean out the drains as well as how he would be using them. He was very upfront about costs for different alternatives, and explained what each alternative would entail. He did an outstanding job cleaning out my neglected drains, and I will no longer have huge puddles to wade through! He did such a great job, I signed up for a yearly maintenance program to keep my pipes clean. 5 stars for Zoom, and 5 stars for Ed!

Typical can't quote you any numbers until we show up at your house and then we can charge you more than the going rate type operation I would recommend using an honest plumber that actually knows what it costs to unclog it a toilet prior to coming out

I was looking for a company who worked on landscape drains in my area. It wasn't easy but I happened upon Zoom Drains. I called, booked an appointment and they were right on time. I liked that they texted where they were at and who was coming. Eduardo was my technician and he was very competent. It was raining, but no problem for them. My landscape pipe had tons of roots and debris blocking it, but their water jet equipment did he trick. Very, very happy with their service. They also recommended a root killer additive as an extra to keep the pipe clear for longer and I did that.

So it's Labor Day, early in the morning and my sink has been stopped up for two days. When I looked for a plumber, zoom drain was the only one open 24 hours and we were to be at a barbecue at noon. Yes we're going to be a little bit late however, the guys got here at 10 o'clock, record time and we're finished at 11:45. We had a blockage in the drain and so a quick snake and it's all cleared. Ian was really great! Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly. He was able to give us a quote to clean and Jett the backyard drains and do the work the same day. And made sure everything was cleaned up after. He also gave us some great advice on doing better maintenance to keep the tree roots at bay in the pipes. Thank you, Ian and Zoom Drains!
We had a pipe burst leaking into the downstairs rental unit. They came out in a matter of hours. Opened up several walls in search of the 70+ years old cast iron pipe. Protected the rest of the room with plastic and got to work. They were efficient, communicative, showed up, cleaned up and I was able to leave them alone for hours. Once repaired they Notified the Superdry company. Once that job was completed they moved on to the 2nd pipe burst . He worked from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm. Another plumber arrived to help get this pipe out that ran from upstairs kitchen to downstairs unit. A huge challenge to remove and replace. I have NEVER felt comfortable to leave a plumber alone in my house... never hesitated with ZOOM! Thanks guys.. highly recommended them!!

Ian recently came out to clean the roots from the drain. He did a great job, answered all my questions, and showed me the in-drain pipe camera before and after his cleaning job...Ian is an excellent technician, and this company puts customer service first.

My garbage disposal backed up late in the afternoon. I called a few plumbers but no one answered the phone. When I called Zoom Drain, I talked to a live person and described my problem. I got a call back in a short time and was told they could come to my house in about 30 minutes, they would do an estimate, and I wouldn't be charged if I decided not to have them do the work. Chris arrived on time, evaluated the problem, and described what he would do to fix it. I agreed to the price and Chris cleared the pipes. He was kind, respectful, patient, and communicated clearly. Overall it was a good experience and I was happy to be up and running in time for dinner. I would call Zoom Drain again.
Thank you for clearing our backyard storm drain pipes for our home on January 30, 2020. Zoom Drain did an excellent job of clearing the roots and debris. I cannot rave enough about the experience we had with Zoom Drain. Paul is so knowledgeable and professional. He explained to us all the options upfront and was very clear about the quote for each option. We suffered problems with sewer backup for years and all the contractors we hired before could not find the root cause. We spent so much time and money to fix random areas and had to live with the issue for so long. In our first meeting with Paul, he was able to mark the exact spot that caused the problem and proposed a solution for us. He came with his equipment 2 days later, dug up the area, found the neighbor's pipe blocking ours, and helped us fix it. Our lovely 90+ year old home came with a lovely reoccurring problem...clogged drains. We have to get the drains snaked twice a year or else the septic water backs up and pools in our downstairs bathroom. It's horrible, disgusting, very expensive, and oh man the smell is the cherry on top. Sean and Johnny were able to clear the main pipe quickly and efficiently. They even made a recommendation that would allow us to save a ton of money each year!! I highly recommend Zoom Drains! They were extremely knowledgeable and most importantly HONEST!! Just had such a positive experience with this company and had to pass it on. With a broken spigot spewing water everywhere, I called Sean at Zoom and he was able to come out and fix the leak. I've had many issues with our pipes in my house for years and after many repairs, recently had our kitchen sink clog. My neighbor is a plumber and he snaked out the clean out with no luck at the time. They recommended zoom drain and I was extremely happy with how easy it was so set up an appointment and how polite everyone was throughout the process. Roger was extremely professional, I explained to him what was going on and even though it wasn't clogged at the time he showed me the drains with a camera and explained each and every detail which was really relieving to see first hand. He offered some advice of maintenance and options in the future. Roger was respectful and clearly experienced. There was no charge for coming out, which was very appreciated. The overall experience was great and I highly recommend, will be calling them again for any problems I have.

I had a Saturday clogged kitchen sink that after trying the Drano method, snake it myself still could not clear the drain. I called a plumbing company I searched on the internet with good reviews and they gave me the number for Zoom Drain. Called then and got a call back in just a few minutes. They happened to have a technician just finishing up a job near me and within 30 minutes of my call Roger was at my front door to give an assessment of my problem. He said that most likely he would be able to clear it out with a snake and if not then a hydro-jet clearing would be needed, gave me the estimate for each job and then proceeded to start to work. After trying to clear with a bigger diameter snake he then gave it a try with a smaller diameter one and that worked!! He was working for over an hour and did solve the problem. He was very clean and made sure that the job area was spotless before he left, using a drop cloth to keep the area under the sink and the floor by the sink cabinets very clean. He did about a 10 min running water check to make sure the drain was free and clear. An excellent job all around. The price of for a weekend service call was very reasonable.
My husband, Carl, called Zoom Drain as it is 24/7 and they said that if the job finished faster then they'll send a tech right away, however, they gave us a tentative window between 10-2 pm. Kyle came around 1pm wearing proper equipment and told us our options. We asked for his suggestions and did not recommend the highest price right away. He said he will take a look first and then will let us know. Carl and Kyle were outside of the house working on the problem and Kyle was explaining to him what is happening and what is going on. He finished the job right away and was very polite and professional. We are very happy with the customer service this company provided and we are happy with the tech that they sent out. Thanks!

Our kitchen drain was seriously clogged and we have tried the dissolvent gel, home high jet water cleansing and the 'snake' by ourselves before asking for the company's help. We were so desperate and the company urgently arranged service to us in the same afternoon. They found out a grease-accumulated rock stuck in pipe and helped to clear the pipe right away. Professional attitude and very careful to re-examine the pipe again to make sure it was all cleaned up.
Appreciate that they cleaned it up with disinfectant as well after the work especially during Covid time. Super nice and neat work! We have a minor hiccup afterwards but they fixed it in no time! Bravo to Sean and Kevin who really worked up to maximum professionalism!!
They are my first choice in the future for sure and would recommend to friends and neighbours as well!!! Good job guys!

Every part of this experience was easy- from appointment set up, to having our problem resolved quickly, and paying for the services. When we turned on our sprinklers, we would get water puddles in different spots in our backyard. Johnny came out, gave us an estimation, and after we approved, he got started right away. He jet cleaned the drain line and explained the whole process to us. I even got to check out the camera that he put through the drain. So cool! He made sure that our problem was resolved and was polite and courteous. I will recommend them to neighbors, family, and friends. Zoom Drain is a honest company and we're dedicated in helping us find the solution.
Paul and Johnny came out on a Sunday and worked their magic!! My toilet has been giving me trouble for months. These 2 finally got to the bottom of my problem.....no pun intended. This company is very thorough, and has very fair pricing. These guys where very professional, and even put the toilet back on. No extra fee. Thanks guys for doing a great job!!

Ian was awesome. Super professional and explained everything going on. Had a toilet clog which unfortunately had to have the toilet removed. Kids toy stuck down the drain . He got it out. Kept everything clean. Great guy and great service. Highly recommended!

i did not get the friendly treatment. they dont handle the customers with care. rude over the phone. he did not listen to me. seemed to be on his own agenda.poor communication skills.poor attitude about business. prices are not reasonable.higher than others.overcharging. overall i did not like them at all. i would not recommend them. i have no good feedback for them.
Zoom Drain is awesome. They showed up two hours after my call late Saturday morning. Gave me a fixed price and then took care of the problem. Cleaned up afterwards, explained everything and were very patient while I asked questions. Would absolutely use them again.

They went over all my options to unclog and repair the clogged main sewer line for me. They unclogged the drain well with a hydrojetting guaranteed for 6 months. I ultimately decided not to do the repair with Zoom Drain but they were upfront with their quote even though they offered to discount the cost of the hydrojetting.
