HISTORY
Peter Jackson was born in 1975 and raised on Long Island. While attending East Islip High School, Peter Joined the East Islip Fire department and enjoyed his time as a volunteer fire fighter. Not long after graduating, Peter found his passion in the electrical trade. After 22 years working with reputable electrical corporations, he obtained his own Master Electrician License with Suffolk County. Peter decided to start his own electrical company with the support of his wife, Kelly, his family and Friends. Peter is friendly and outgoing people person with a passion for creating beautiful lighting. He is knowledgeable and experienced at lighting design, energy saving options, and is capable of assisting with all electrical needs from minor repairs to full installations.

Yelp did not disappoint and neither did PKJ. We were given an estimate over the phone and they stuck to it. Our kitchen lights were flickering and we thought we had faulty wires and were afraid it would start a fire. All we needed was our dimmer switch replaced. Very nice guys and the woman that answered the phone was very nice also. If we have any other electrical needs we will be calling them again!
you can keep wasting your time looking for an electrician and you may find one, almost as good, but not as good and never better then PKJ Electrical Corp. Pete ,the owner, returned my initial contact within ten minutes and was at the house by that afternoon. He recognized the problem was a dangerous arcing from corroding wires in the breaker box. He gave me a date and a price to replace the box. He then spent substantial time creating a condition that made the box safe and all circuits back in action. No charge. Pete ,and staff, John and Matt, returned on the set day and completed the work for the quoted price. when you find an individual and staff that conscientious, you keep them.
They did what they said they were going to do in the time they said they would do it for the price they quoted. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend Pete.
PKJ Electrical responded the same evening I reached out to them, collected the information they needed, quoted me a reasonable price to install a bathroom exhaust fan, and had the job scheduled on the calendar before any of their competitors even responded. The work was top-notch, even with complicating factors, and they called when they were on their way, and arrived shortly after they said to expect them. PKJ Electrical will be my first call for any further electrical needs.
Pete came back and ran the wiring for our hot tub. Once again immaculate work and a pleasure to work with! I will definitely call him anytime we need electrical work done. Thanks, Pete!

Peter and Matt just completed the 200 Amp upgrade / panel installation project in my tiny house. They were right on time to start the work and finished sooner than I had anticipated. He's up to date with current payment technology so it was a breezy experience to use my credit card for payment. (None of this we accept cash only or check scenario!)
Not only Peter has one of the coolest name, same as Peter Jackson, the director of infamous Lord of the Ring movie series, so it's easy to remember, and his price seems very reasonable so his firm will be on my contact list whenever I need a reliable electrician's service in the future.
