We lost heat in our apartment on the coldest night of the year, just a couple days before New Year's. Real-feel temperatures were in the single digits and negative degrees, so lots of people had frozen pipes and plumbers were nowhere to be found -- backlogged for days.

I was dialing every place I could find on Yelp. I was jerked around bad by the bigger guys. Finally, I gave this place a call around 8:30pm on that very desperate Friday night and my call was forwarded directly to Brett's cell phone; he's the CEO.

He was out on another job at the time. I described the problem, and Brett suggested we FaceTime so he could see our boiler and try a couple of very basic things with me on the phone to try to get things back up and running. (We're a ways outside his usual service area, and it was a busy night -- so he didn't think he'd be able to get out here. But he wanted to see if he could help.) When I couldn't get it going over the phone, he said I'm coming out there tonight. We're gonna get your heat back on.

Around 9:30pm on that bitterly cold Friday night, Brett showed up with his gear and didn't leave until the job was done after midnight! He was determined to get our heat back on. And he did!

Oh, and then he went to another job after he left us at midnight! He's the owner of the business. It was now Saturday morning. But he had folks in need and didn't want to leave them hanging.

We can't say enough about Brett. We're so thankful to him and would give this place 100 stars if it was possible. There should be more people and businesses that care about others the way Brett cared about us that night. Please, please support this small business! We are SO happy we did.

This is an unfortunate update following my 5-star review a few years back. I tried to really like Paramus Plumbing and root for them, but after the latest incident, I really have to speak up because what I'm about to describe has happened repeatedly before.
I was trying to get a service call out on the AC they installed in 2016, and 5 days later and 3 leaving messages later, they have not had a technician contact me.

What is the point of being in a Service industry if your first line of service - communication - is so atrocious?

I remember when Brett told me that it's hard to get back to customers in time because he had no receptionist back then and I had given you every benefit of the doubt. Now with an 800 number, multiple technicians, and a receptionist(s), what is the excuse now? And what is the point of receptionist if all they do is to tell me that they left a message with the technicians, there's nothing more they can do?

I called last Saturday and spoke to a young lady who told me (when I asked her to look up my information) that she has no access to any information (due to working from a different location a la COVID-19) and that all she can do is to leave a message with one of the technicians Okay, understandable as long as someone calls back, I thought.

Then on Monday an older lady did call back saying they got someone nearby and are trying to work something out so I happily told her to have the guy call me first so I can arrange with the tenant. No calls.

I called again on Tuesday and Briana picked up (I think the same lady from Saturday) and I told her my frustration. She just said she can leave a message with them again. There was no apology, no 'Oh I see you called last week, we'll make sure to get back to you this time', no follow up, nothing. And of course, I didn't hear a squeak back from them.

So now it's Thursday and I feel foolish for having tried to give Paramus Plumbing a chance to repair their own job. I understand it's AC season and everyone might be busy running around. But what is the point of voicemails and receptionists if you simply cannot be reached or even bother calling back if you're too busy? If they're busy with big commercial jobs like Brett told me about back then, then perhaps switch strategy and exit the residential business altogether. If they're still in it, they need to do better and call customers back whether they can or can't do the job. It's basic decency they can afford their customers.

They do a good job though not without errors, but be prepared for atrocious communication if you choose Paramus plumbing & mechanical. I went with someone else who was so much more responsive and guess I'll see how good Brett's work was.

These guys came and replaced my water heater with a tank less system. Seemed promising, but were a pain to get ahold of, and didn't bother with any needed permits. Bye bye NJ rebates...

A year later, reached out to the office and to Brett to get maintenence scheduled, and no response at all. We've reached out for literally months, no responses.

Turns out, not only did this need maintenance, but the shoddy work has been slowly leaking gas, which was identified thanks to a washer repair tech and confirmed when PSE&G came to red tag or shut off the gas due to safety.

Even then, zero responsibility or responsiveness for maintenance or an emergency repair. The only response was full of excuses, and they were only willing to come only in a few days. No show, no response, no follow up (sensing a pattern here?)

$700 of repairs (and multiple technicians mentioning the original setup was a hack job) and days of cold shower later, Brett and the office still refuse to get back to me on the maintenance or a follow up on the emergency repair.

Don't recommend these guys unless you want no accountability for basic maintenance and expensive service calls.

Brett, and his staff of pros at  Paramus Plumbing have done many jobs for me at my home and they've always come through.  They're excellent workers, knowledgeable and dependable.  My wife and I recommend them highly for any of your plumbing and HVAC needs.

I called them and asked for an estimate to install Central AC in my home.  At first they wanted $175.00 to come out. I had called 5 companies in all, Paramus was the only one that wanted a fee. I balked. I don't pay for estimates. They reconsidered and agreed to come out at a mutually agreed upon date and time to bid on the job.
   They missed the scheduled time, arrived about 5 hours later. A week or so later I got a vmail that they wanted to discuss the job. I returned the call to their vmail and asked if they could simply send me the estimate in an email. A few weeks have gone by, no estimate.
I must say I was not completely surprised. The few interactions I had with them on the phone left me suspect if they would show up. They came across as being not really interested, but we'll do you a favor and come out and bid on the job type attitude. So thanks for the apathetic response to my invitation for you to bid on installing CAC.  You helped me narrow down my search for finding the right customer centered company. Thank you for eliminating yourself from consideration.

One of the better choices for plumbing work in Bergen county. The prices are reasonable and the work is very good.

We are in the process of selling our house and we were away on vacation and suddenly I get a message that there's a water leak coming from somewhere in the pipe stack that runs from the basement all the way to the bathrooms on the the first and second floors. The water was coming down in the basement like someone was taking a shower there. Luckily, I had used Brett about 5 years earlier when I had to replace the central air in the house and he did a great job. I was really freaking out because I didn't know how serious the problem was, how much the walls would be torn up to find the problem, how long it would take to get it done, and of course I was worried about losing the sale. Brett's guys came and found the broken pipe and replaced it with really minimum damage to the walls. I can't tell you how relieved I am, I can finally sleep at night. Brett is just the best, honest and decent, and I would never use any plumber other than him. This guy is a gem! I just want to add that if you need a plumber there is no one else you should use!

I hate to write a bad review because Brett did seem to be a good guy the first time we worked with him.  In 2015 Brett installed a new outside unit for our central air conditioning.  He did a fine job and we had no complaints.  We had thought we found our plumber for any future issues.

Unfortunately, two years later the unit broke.  A part on the unit broke and the refrigerant leaked out.  This was not the fault of him but the manufacturer.  I reached out to him but at first was not getting an answer, so I called another company who came out and explained what had happened.  They recommended trying to get in touch with the company who installed it (Paramus Plumbing) as it should still be under warranty.

I was able to reach Brett this time and he said he would come that evening to check it out, and that they guaranteed their work.  This was reassuring, until he didn't show up.  The next day I reached out to him again and he apologized and said he would come that day.  Again, he never showed up.  The next couple days I continued to reach out to him without answer.  On the fifth day, I left a message on the 800 number voicemail (I had been talking with him on his own phone previously.)  He called and apologized and said that he had had a family emergency.  Oh well, it was just a week in July with no air conditioning waiting around in our hot house for him to show up.  He then went on to say that he was so backed up with other jobs that he wouldn't be able to help us out (with the work he said he guaranteed.)

To really add insult to injury, in the conversation we brought up the idea of replacing the entire system in our house.  To this he said, well, if you wanted to replace everything, then I could definitely do it!  He didn't have time to look at something he had done and guaranteed, but was willing to drop everything to do a much bigger job.

We did end up replacing our entire system, and used Wickersheim Plumbing.  They are more expensive, but they are extremely reliable and their guarantee actually means something.

The circulating pump on our heating system started making some loud noises so we shut the system down and checked Yelp to find a plumber. Based on the good reviews I called Paramus Plumbing & Mechanical and Brett came to check it out about 2 hours later. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and got the pump oiled and sorted and provided some good advice for a number of plumbing questions I had. Great guy and I definitely intend to use them for all future plumbing projects. Highly recommended.

As a homeowner, my biggest worry when looking for someone to fix something that's broken is that they'll try to rip me off, overcharge, or sell me a service that I don't need. Sometimes, it's a crap shoot when you're basing your decision on Google or Yelp reviews. Either the reviews are poor or outright bogus.

Luckily, I stumbled upon this company in my search to get my central air conditioning unit fixed. They didn't pick up immediately, but after I left a voicemail with a brief description of my problem, they returned my call within minutes.

When Brett arrived, he immediately diagnosed the problem and showed me what was broken and how much it would cost for the repair. It was a worn out capacitor. He also tested the refrigerant levels; although it was a bit low, he didn't try to get me to recharge my system with (expensive) refrigerant, since cold air was blowing inside.

I know jack squat about AC units and if he had told me the compressor or something more expensive needed roaching, I probably would have believed him. However, he didn't. I appreciate his professionalism and honesty. For that, I will use this these guys for my future heating/cooling/plumbing needs. Thank you!

After installing a heating system that did not work through the winter and cost me $1200 plus five nights in a hotel to stay warm at my expense, Paramus Plumbing finally installed a new system.  I am replacing my one-star review with this three-star review.

Luke was exceptional!! The three problems I had weren't crazy but he was able to figure out how to fix the issues creatively and saved me a fortune in the process! A previous plumber wanted to open a wall to fix a leaky faucet. Luke found a workaround that has worked perfectly. A bathtub needed to be snaked and he handled it better than any plumber I've ever hired before for this issue. I can't recommend Paramus Plumbing - and specifically Luke - more!!!

AC went on the fritz out of nowhere.
Checked Yelp and saw how highly rated this business was.
Called the 800# at 8pm at night expecting to leave a message. Instead, Brett picked up and we scheduled an appt for the next day. He showed up as scheduled.
Brett replaced a few parts and refilled the coolant, and within an hour I was back in business.
Good honest work, fair price and a great experience. Highly recommend.

We had a frozen pipe and I frantically called around trying to find someone to come out ASAP. These guys were able to come to my house within an hour of my call and the service was good. They unfroze the pipe, added insulation around the pipe, and also put up a small piece of foam to stop a draft in my basement crawl space that was causing the pipe to freeze. The only thing is that it was very expensive (around $700) but I guess it's cheaper than dealing with a burst pipe.

Paramus Plumbing did a great job on a recent issue at my home. I have a steam boiler with a small loop of hot water baseboard heat for the addition portion of our home. The small loop would not prime as I was getting my system up and running for the cool season. We just bought the house so it was our first time getting everything set up. Brett from Paramus Plumbing explained everything and provided plenty of helpful insight. He is willing to share his knowledge as he goes through the job.

He came out on a Thursday evening around 8pm. He thought it was an easy fix (just a bad circulator pump), but it turned out it still would not prime. He then re-piped the entire set up in less than an hour. That is great if you have to pay someone by the hour. Even after that it would not prime. At this point it was midnight so he called it a day to do some research. The next day when I ran it, It actually primed right away. It could have been an air bubble or something preventing it, but Brett returned on a Sunday evening to install some new valves to bleed it easier.

All in all, he is a fair plumber with the knowledge to get jobs finished. He isn't the most expensive plumber, but he will not be the cheapest either. We will be using him again in the future.

Typical plumber nonsense. Makes time to get the job, waited all afternoon for Brett to show for the first scheduled visit, never called, I called the next day and heard his excuses, rescheduled, gave up after waiting 2 hours for him today. Next.

Awesome Brett came to our rescue!!!! we had no heat last week in the first cold snap of the season. He came and fixed our furnace in 10 minutes, very reasonable rates such a wonderful experience will keep his number in speed dial

My boiler died out a few days before a big snowstorm. I got a few estimates and decided to go with Paramus Plumbing. The guys at Paramus Plumbing, especially Mark, did an extraordinary job. Timely, professional, skilled, clean, etc.

However, the boiler did not work efficiently in the Winter and the situation was not rectified by the company.

I would recommend these guys for any plumbing or HVAC needs.  We were without AC during  the hottest week of the year, he came in, fixed it, and we were back to cold in no time. They are genuine, fair, and will make sure you are taken care of. Was a pleasure to work with.

Our furnace was not working on Tuesday night and we were desperate to find someone to repair it the next day. Called two places before I found Brett and we are so thankful for his service! Brett came to our house shortly after I called him. He assessed the problem, went out to get parts, and came back to fix it. He stayed until he was sure our heat is back on! The price was reasonable and he is honest. Brett is great!!!

Brett came to our home after hours at 11:00 pm . He was honest and fair with the repairs needed to get our air conditioning going during a heat wave . He has it now up and running and was professional and caring . The price was reasonable and he worked swiftly. We will always use Brett for our home plumbing needs.

I promised myself from the 1st visit that I would write a review but I tend to forget so after today's visit I had to do it. The experience of Paramus Plumbing is impeccable. Today's visit was the kitchen sink, the pipe rotted away from old galvanized piping.

The work these men perform are amazing and I'm not saying that because they are cool guys; they are down to earth and you can see they have the passion for their plumbing profession. In my field of work; customer service is everything and I can see it can affect any field and most importantly how well and great you do in your work field. I'm in pure awe. These guys are swift yet precise. They check everything and eye everything out. If they see something suspicious; they will tell you and let you know, what your options are and go from there. Bret really came to my families aide, after trying to unclog a nasty kitchen pipe for days by myself Bret came out that same day and diagnosed the problem and provided a long lasting solution. I'd highly recommend his services as his professionalism is what really set him apart from the rest of the pack.

Brett & Craig were great!  Had a really tight squeeze to replace a water heater that had started leaking.  They went above and beyond to get the job done!  They were professional and good conversationalists as well.  I'm very happy with their work and highly recommend them to anyone!

I needed a plumber to unclog our bathroom sink.  Brett responded quickly with a price.  I asked him about setting up a quarterly maintenance cleaning and he told me there really isn't a need for it and that it would be like taking money for no reason.  I liked that he was honest and upfront with me.  He was available to come the next day and work with our schedule.  His work was very thorough and provided suggestions how to prevent future clogs.  I would definitely recommend Brett from Paramus Plumbing.

I used this plumber named Brett to replace my broken hot water valve under the sink to connect to a replacement dishwasher. I paid $185.00  After he and his partner left, it leaked. We called and told us to buy a plug. My husband went to Home Depot, Lowe's and other plumbing stores with no success. Brett sent his assistant the following day and purchased more plumbing supplies. I paid another $50.00. It leaked again. I called and emailed repeatedly for days with no response. In spite of their 90 days guarantee, they did not honor it. It is disgusting and deplorable. I would not recommend this plumbing company.

Brett was wonderful.  He was on time, was able to fix a complicated problem and got it done over a weekend in an emergency.  My business can now open Monday morning and my staff can go back to work unaffected with air conditioning on a 90 degree day.  Thanks Brett!  I would highly recommend him.

It's hard to describe how easy and pleasant it was to work with Brett and Chris. We discovered that we had mold in our A/C system and two units had to be replaced. Of course we wanted to get the units replaced as soon as possible and Brett came over evaluated the situation, and did the whole job within 3 days. The price was considerably less than another plumber who I had originally called. As long as we live in the area, Paramus Plumbing will have us as customers. These guys really are the best.

Had a clogged up basement slop sink that needed a quick cleanout.  Called Paramus Plumbing and they were over in an hour to fix the situation.  No hassle, no drama and the job was done well.

Once again, Brett Pagan came through!  It's 11:30pm on a Monday night and Brett's still hard at work on the plumbing in our house!  I can't say enough good things about him. All in one night we have new pipes as the old ones were leaking/corroded, and a new Rheem hot water heater. He's trustworthy, reliable, and a genuinely nice guy.  5 stars!

There are not enough good words and stars to be said for Paramus Plumbing, and to Brett and his team.

I called Paramus Plumbing when we realized that the house we moved into at the end of August had wired up the furnace to seem as if it was turning on (to pass inspection), however it was actually broken - and in the room my two young children slept, it was getting increasingly cold.

Brett came and diagnosed the issue on a Monday night - at about 7:30 pm after he had already been working all day - and then over the course of Monday night through Wednesday night (as more and more problems became evident) Brett spent about 10 hours and got the furnace fixed and basically re-wired as new - he came to my house 3 days in a row, after a long day (not to mention spending the days in between on the phone trying to get the right parts for the repair) - so that my kids would be warm in their room.

Brett was incredibly knowledgeable, went over and above out of his way to finish my job quickly, and was personalble on top of it all.

Not only would I recommend him, I ended up hiring Paramus Plumbing again a few days later to replace my hot water heater.  This time Mark did the installation, and again, was knowledgeable, educated me on the issue and installed the new heater within 1/2 a day.

These guys are the only HVAC and plumbers I will ever use again.

We needed both a furnace and a hot water heater and Paramus Plumbing gave us a fair price and did a great job for us. There were no surprises or nonsense- just hard working plumbers doing a very professional and honest job.

Plumbing is one profession that seems to have more than its share of either incompetent or unscrupulous or outrageously expensive (or all three together) kind of people.  I have had many bad personal experiences.
So, how wonderfully refreshing it was to meet Brett of Paramus Plumbing.   Everything you read in the other 5 Star reviews is absolutely true.  In fact, it was the Yelp reviews that guided me to him in the first place.

He picked up the phone himself ( no answering service ) came over promptly, was neat, clean, respectful, pleasant and most knowledgeable.   He did his work efficiently and cleanly without leaving a mess behind.  And then he pulled out his iPad, entered all the info and emailed an invoice to me immediately.  His total charge was fair and appropriate.

What more can one ask?

First time he came gave me an astronomical estimate. It was double what I got from 2 other plumbers. Reviews on Yelp were so positive I called again for another job. He never returned my 3 phone calls.

First time user for this company. What initially made me call was the great reviews. I had an AC issue last Saturday, so I called them. Brett picked up the phone himself. We discussed the issue at length. He said he would come over in three hours. Three hours later he knocked on my door.
Brett found the problem and within one hour I was up and running. He is very knowledgable, professional, and gave me very fair price for this emergency call. I highly recommend this company to all.

Brett did a great job helping our tenants fixing the drainage problem. Very enthusiastic and helpful. Was able to come out the day after we called him at 8pm. Price is very reasonable. Definitely my go-to guy for plumbing and HVAC issues from now on.

My aunt was having an ongoing issue with her plumbing and went through about 4 local companies and no one could get to the bottom of the problem.  I called on Brett and asked him to check it out at his first opportunity.  He immediately called me back, scheduled something for the next day, did what he does best and permanently fixed the problem.  His prices were totally reasonable as my aunt has done this before, he worked quickly and efficiently and all with a great attitude and sense of humor.
I have recommended him to 2 different contacts of mine, and we all agree, if anyone asks do you know a good plumber?  we proudly say yeah, we got a guy! :)

Bret is a great guy! When we had a heater vent making loud noise, we were told to replace entire heater. But Bret was the only one who came to look at the vent with open minded. He offered to come without even charging a fee as he was curious to learn about the problem. He fixed noise by dismantling and reassembling the vent unit and noise went away and he charged us usual visiting fee and saved us a lot of money by not recommending to replace the unit in first place. I highly recommend Bret for all your plumbing and heating needs. He was honest and willing to try few things before making you spend tons of money.

Had different quotes from plumbers in the area for drainage issues in my sink and tub and Brett was straight forward over the phone and quoted me the most reasonable price. Arrived on time and got the job done. He also gave recommendations as to what I need to do in the near future to avoid this problem again.

Brett's great and I highly recommend him.  He's really friendly, professional, and a talented plumber.  He came by after hours to fix my furnace.  He knew right away what the problem was and fixed it super fast.  His pricing was also really reasonable.  I will definitely call him again.

As many others have said - Brett is great! Came to the house last night to see our problem and was back today with the right parts to fix it. Explains the problems and the fix and is willing to show you how to do it. And the best part - great price! Great service, great result and great price! Thank our lucky stars we have Paramus plumbing in Bergen County! ! As others have said here ,Brett is honest and gets to the point. We have more than our fair share here of shoemakers who call themselves plumbers or incompetent do nothing types. Brett came out after doing a long job in Emerson at 10pm. Our shower and drains in the garage had major clogs. Brett explained what was going on and promptly corrected everything. It is truly refreshing when you have confidence in a contractor. We have lived here a short time and have had our fair share of incompetent contractors. We now have someone we can call without hesitation! I cannot say enough good things about Brett. I made a last minute appointment with Brett after my utility sink filled with water and I couldn't get in touch with my usual plumber. Turns out my main sewer line was clogged (and is likely broken) due to tree roots. He worked for 3 hours (working until 9:30 pm!) without giving up until I was able to run the water throughout the house with no problems. He even helped me clean up the mess from the sewage that got into my basement during the unclogging process. He was great at explaining everything and charged a very fair rate. I will definitely be hiring him to replace the broken sewer line this summer!

BELIEVE THE HYPE.  These guys are awesome.  Woke up with no heat this morning and its freezing outside.  Called them first thing in the morning and all of Brett's guys were on jobs. I've got a 2 year old and a 4 year old and had to get them out of the house because it was so cold.  He understood my situation, told me all of the preventative measures to take in the meantime and he went out of his way to send Mark out to do a diagnosis (although he was on another job 20 minutes away). Mark got here earlier than they even estimated and diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes.  Problem was, we had ADT here yesterday installing our alarm system and they must have flipped the switch off that controlled the boiler (we just moved here and was unaware this wall switch in the basement operated the boiler...I know stupid me). Anyway, I was all ready to write the check out for the service call, but Mark refused to charge me.  I'm a business owner and have dealt with a lot of different contractors over the years for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire...you name it.  I don't know of any company that would operate with such honesty and not take the money. If I could give these guys 6 stars, I would.  I'll be sure to call up Paramus Plumbing next time I have an actual problem.  Thanks guys!

Brett is such a great plumber/HVAC guy in addition to being friendly and personable. He conveniently came out to my home to change out my hot water heater and did a great job. People like this are very hard to come by. His price was competitive. Would use him again, in fact he is going to be my go to guy from now on.

Very glad and happy I chose Paramus plumbing. I had a water heater that flooded my basement around midnight and Brett picked up even when it was very late. He was able to come first thing in the morning and was very honest and did an awesome job with the new installation of the water heater. After calling a few plumbers in the area, my husband and I decided to go with Paramus Plumbing to fix our slow shower drain. After having a negative experience with a previous plumber, we wanted to make sure we went with someone we could trust. Brett was really nice over the phone and was very accommodating in finding a time that worked with our schedule. He's honest, efficient, and knowledgeable and did a great job. I was in need of changing a leaking hot water shower faucet.  I tried one company and they treated me like they didn't need the business. Very short, curt, and straight to business.  So I jumped onto Yelp and came across Paramus Plumbing.  I couldn't get over all the positive reviews, so I just had to try them out.
I got a hold of Brett, he treated me with a professionalism mixed with an old fashion type of customer service.  The kind of service you don't see anymore from companies.  It seemed like I've been doing business with him for years.  It was a very down to earth type conversation.  Very honest and opened, not the type you normally get from a plumbing company.  Which typically is cut and dry, this is the price per hour and we are going to charge you an arm and a leg just to come see you.
Brett came out within 24 hours, took a look at it and got the job done. The best part, I can tell you I still have my arm and leg.  Fair price and very knowledgable, actually almost an educational visit. Found out they also have a HVAC license.

Just wanted to send a quick note expressing how thankful my family was after contacting Brett and Craig at this company.  Our HVAC system died last Wednesday night  (the first day of a heat wave) and we were expected to have a BBQ that Saturday.  Additionally, we have two very small children and two dogs, so naturally we worried about how hot our house would get without air.  We contacted Brett on Thursday morning, and within two hours Brett (the owner) and Craig were inspecting the issues, by the end of the day all the equipment needed for the job had arrived at our house.  Friday morning, Craig and another worker were at our house by 8:30am and worked through the day, moving around other jobs that they had booked due to the priority of our house having no AC.  The job was completed on the same day, and we were charged less than the initial estimate Brett gave us.  I cannot speak highly enough about their professionalism and straight shooter attitude.  I do not plan to use another company again, and recommend them to anyone.

Ripped me off. Partly my fault for not doing more research into the going rate, but two contractors have told me he charged more than twice what the job was worth. He said it was a really complicated job, would take a full day, told me it had to be for a set price. Ended up finishing in two hours and still asked for full price. Don't feel like I was treated honestly.

I have just purchased a home and as soon as I turned my AC on it didn't work (of course).  I searched Yelp for an AC guy and Brett's company came up.  I called and he came out the next day to take a look.  Long story short, as a newbie homeowner Brett could have taken me for a serious ride by having my entire unit replaced.  Instead he figured out that the condenser was the issue.  He had it replaced 2 days later and I was good to go.  Even though my AC unit is pretty old he recommended some occasional maintenance and said it could probably last me a while yet.  Brett  is fair, reliable, knowledgeable, and honest.  You really can't ask for more.  He was patient with my many questions about the house in general, most were unrelated to plumbing and AC.  He made recommendations on how to handle many situations around the house on my own.    He even added that I could reach out to him if I had any questions at a later date.  Brett could not have been more professional.  I highly recommend him!

Our furnace stopped working last month and Brett and his team took care of us. It wasn't the coldest week (thank goodness) but we told him that we have a 1 year old and when one of his guys couldn't make it the first day, he came out personally to take care of us. He initially tried to fix the furnace, and made a good effort to fix it by the end of the day. He even went out of his way to buy a piece and returned the same day. Despite his best efforts, that didn't work, he informed us that we needed a new furnace and that he wouldn't charge us for the work he did that day. His two guys came the next day, promptly, and replaced our furnace ahead of schedule. They were kind, courteous, and fast. Definitely recommend.

On one of the hottest weeks this summer, my ac gave out. Both the upstairs and downstairs units stopped working, needless to say the situation was dire. I called Gold Medal Services initially, and after about 30 seconds the repairman looks over at me and states that both units needed new motors. After having been quoted close to 3k for replacement/repair I sent the salesman disguised as a repairman on his way. I began searching again and contacted Brett over at Paramus Plumbing who came by that same day. The moment Brett began to take out his tools and inspect the units, it was like night and day with the other company that came. His professionalism and expertise were evident immediately. Once he diagnosed the problem, which by the way had absolutely nothing to do with any motors!! He provided an in depth explanation of the problem, the kind only someone who has really studied the subject could give, and then quoted me a more than fair price. Forewarning all along that he would do everything in his power to get both units back up and running but it was not 100%. He came back the next day in the morning and shortly after, one of the units was once again fully functional. He literally spent all day working on the other unit, in close to 100 degree weather, and despite his incessant attempts, there was simply nothing to be done but to replace the unit. Although I decided against that, he provided me with every possible option to work with me in reducing the cost of the replacement. Even offering to put the repair money towards the new unit. Brett is truly a master of his craft! I can not recommend him enough. If you are looking for a true expert that is honest and will go above and beyond to help you, do no hesitate to contact him.
