ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
I have a bachelors degree from Rutgers. I have worked as both an electrician and in general construction. I have been involved in numerous volunteer projects over the years including rebuilding together and others. Safety is a big priority at Caliber Electric. I am Osha certified with Osha 30, have Track Training allowing me to work on railroads, Fire alarm and life safety training, and I am CPR and first aid trained. I have been formally trained in operating lifts in a safe manner. Employees are drug tested and pass a background check. I look forward to being able to serve your electrical needs.

Wonderful experience with Daniel and Rich. I asked Rich to help install NEST outdoor cameras and doorbell. Daniel put them up like a pro! Friendly, helpful, and just overall an excellent customer experience. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy electrician.

Great service again from Caliber Electric. We chose them when we first moved into our new home in November and now again for outdoor electric and they did a phenomenal job as always. They are professional and personable. Rich and his team are fantastic and reliable.
Absolutely awesome team, very responsible and get job done correctly. Also, this guys will come back if you have any problem. Thumb up. Many thanks for passing my electrician inspection.
We just bought a house and hired Caliber to install a new panel, some light fixtures and a bathroom fan. Richard and his team were great. It was always easy to get a hold of them, they were friendly, professional and honest, and one night Daniel even stayed until 10 pm to finish up a project he promised to do for us. Very responsive, punctual, and professional. The two gentlemen who showed up divided and conquered two separate jobs in my home, and were very thorough with a full explanation of everything they were doing, and answered my questions in great detail with suggestions.
They installed a timer switch on wiring I couldn't figure out, and helped to troubleshoot a ceiling light, tightening all connections and tracing the connections from the wall switch to the breaker panel. I will definitely be calling on Caliber Electric again for future work.
My friend Florence recommended Caliber and I'm so glad she did! Rich quoted me $800 LESS than another electrician quoted me for the same job. I was so impressed with Rich's service from our first email/call to get the job lined up and he even went above and beyond to provide my Management Co (Condo bldg) with his licensure info & he did it so quickly. His two guys, Dan & Wayne, were fantastic! They were on time, extremely professional & polite. Dan & Wayne took the time to explain everything to me, I really appreciate that. I highly recommend Caliber Electric and Dan & Wayne for your Electrical needs! They are THE BEST!

Needed to have a whole house fan installed and Caliber Electric delivered! They gave me a very reasonable price and met all their commitments. They were extremely professional, timely, and communicative. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
I had a really good experience with Caliber. I wanted a downstairs switch that would control lighting upstairs. After hearing the cost of rewiring (cutting into the walls, etc) I was discouraged, then Richard suggested some new wireless light switch technologies. He helped me find the right products on Amazon, and installed them for a reasonable price. He answered all my emails promptly, and his men were at my house on time and finished promptly. No flakiness whatsoever. I would recommend Caliber to anyone.

I was attempting to install smart switches and ran into problems with enclosure boxes too small for me to fit everything in. There were some other safety concerns I had about the existing wiring as well that was beyond my capabilities. I called Rich at 9:30 AM and he was on a job. He took plenty of time to discuss my electrical issues and promised to call me back by noon and that they would be able to make it over by early afternoon. I received a call at 11:45 from Rich telling me they'd be there in about an hour. Less than an hour later they arrived. Rich (the owner) and Dan were fantastic. They took the time to learn exactly what was going on and how they could best help. Rich could tell I was interested in learning more about what was wrong so he took some time to teach. In about 1.5 hours every issue (and then some) were resolved to my satisfaction. They did not seem to be rushed or that they were just trying to get the problem fixed and leave, they cared that they did it correctly. They even took the time to sweep up after they were finished.
I can honestly say I wouldn't critique one thing about my experience with Caliber Electric.

Rich did some big jobs at my home and did a great job. He was outstanding with suggestions and they all looked great when he finished. I had some experience with many electricians and by far he is the best. I recommend him to anyone, they will not be disappointed.
Rich installed lights and fans into several rooms of my home. The service was fast and reliable. He did an excellent job!
We needed extensive rewiring, updating and outlet repair in our 7 rm. condo and chose Caliber based on their positive reviews. Our experience was entirely consistent with other Yelp reviews. Response time was excellent -- work was scheduled 3 business days from the date we contacted Rich, the owner. The work required a full day and 2 electricians; both were knowledgeable and professional in demeanor and pricing was quite fair. Also impressive was Caliber's follow-up. Four days after the work was done, one of the circuits blew out....no fault on their part, it was a matter of overload in 1 particular room. I left message for Rich on the Sat. before Easter and Mon. morning, he arrived to personally assess the problem. He rectified the problem in 30 minutes at no additional charge. We've owned 5 older homes in NJ & NY in 30 yrs. time, have had various contractors and easy to say -- our experience with Caliber was by far the best!

I would have given them 6 stars if I could. Rich and his team were great! Rate was fair and the work was done perfectly. They hung my tv and sound bar above the fireplace and made sure the wires weren't visible. Highly recommended!
Danny from Caliber Electric came immediately to install a wall socket for an appliance. He was professional and very informative in advance about the job. Did a great job. Cleaned up nicely afterwards. This is a great company. I definitely recommend you go with them if you need the services they offer.

I found Caliber Electric from Yelp. Rich live up to expectations based on these excellent reviews. We asked him to fix the electric problems around the pool. He is always on time and provides free estimates for each job you request. The cost is reasonable. Most other electricians I have encountered charge you by the hour to come for an estimate. He cleaned up after the job. He follows up with email and calls to make sure that you don't have any problems with the job. I highly recommend using Caliber Electric.
