Established in 2003.
Signature was founded on the realization that Albuquerque was in dire need of safe, quality work. We recognized the difficulty in finding a contractor who would not only follow through on their word but even return phone calls, which was incredibly frustrating. Furthermore, we discovered that over 80% of the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical jobs completed in the Albuquerque area were not legally permitted, posing significant risks for honest homeowners. Witnessing the lack of reliable and trustworthy services in our community, we took it upon ourselves to fill this void and provide Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and Los Lunas with the exceptional service they truly deserve.

Until yesterday I had 5-star experience with Signature. As of yesterday, I will never use them again. One star is too many!

I have two rental properties. I called to have them go to Property A, they showed up at Property B. They told me I gave them the wrong address, only to admit later that I had, in fact, given them the correct address, TWICE. Amanda lied to me and told me I made the mistake, all the while knowing Signature made the mistake. They show up unannounced at Property B, and bully their way in, with my tenant completely surprised they are there - when they are not supposed to be. (I have amazing tenants and great working relationships with them, they always know when I send service people out.) Signature technicians begin doing work they were absolutely not authorized to do, blaming my tenant for items not installed correctly, with my tenant doing his best to defend himself and explain that other Signature employees had misinstalled those items. Technicians continued to bully and blame my tenant despite his every objection. In the process of doing work they were not supposed to be doing, they broke personal property of my tenant due to carelessly throwing a filter across the room. They did not apologize. When my tenant called Signature to complain, he was informed that NO SIGNATURE PERSONNEL had been dispatched to Property B that day, and that he was lying. My tenant was threatened and told to provide video proving they had been there. He went online and found a photo of the Signature employees in question, in uniform, and forced Signature to admit that their employees had, in fact, been at Property B. In speaking with General Manager Sky, he called the mistakes and outright lying a Comedy of Errors. He did not follow through on commitments he gave me. At every mistake, instead of owning up and fixing things, Signature lied and blamed myself and my tenant. We spoke with or worked with at least 6 Signature employees and none were honest or trustworthy. I have instructed tenants at both of my properties that if Signature ever shows up again, they are to call the Police, immediately. I am working with the Better Business Bureau and will be contacting Costco to have their contract revoked. This business believes that good Customer Service means bullying, lying, and threatening customers. RUN, DO NOT WALK!

i can't recommend this company because they do not get back in contact with us and refused to consider our ongoing issues with our heating and a.c.  system since the builder install it.  we were told several times that someone would call us back, but no one did.  alan garcia did an excellent job explaining our issues with drywall dust in our ducts and equipment done by our builder,  twilight homes. all the companies that we have contacted and come to the house about our issues all say this is a preoccupy issue done by the builder.  would never purchase any lennox products ever again.  we were told it could cost us out of pocket anywhere from $20,000 to $30,000 to replace all heating and cooling and ducts to get rid of our problem.  the main issue with signature is no one contacted me as they said they would.  had a service  contract with signature will not renew and purchase anything from  signaure heating and cooling.

Signature installed 2 air conditioner units for $22,000 2 years ago.  Now they decide they won't service the units in the town where I live. Too far.  Wow. I didnt live too far when they installed their overpriced system.   Very disappointed.

I am pretty upset with this company. The first issue was in 2019 of April we bought our house and found that the plumbing needed to be replaced. Our plumber told us they were going to replace the entire outgoing sewer line into the street and also replace our  water line. They misrepresented themselves and did not in fact replace the last 2'9 of orange berg piping at the end of the street. Last year in the fall we began having issues with our sewer lines clogging and the plumber continued to tell me we had to replace our toilet paper and that the end of our line was catching and there's nothing they can do. After 4-5 calls for having our lines snaked, I called TLC who informed me that the orange berg pipe was still existent at the very end of our line and was never replaced. I had TLC replace that.

Then, before I had TLC replace the piping October 2020, we had an AC system installed. The two installers informed me they were moving the air filter to the main floor and after repeated reassurance from the installer I was told the filter was removed under the house and new ones reinstalled above. The city inspector informed me the air filter was still there with the old filter still in it! I called them and finally they came out and fixed it.

At this point I am not trusting this company. I further tried calling them today to follow up on why no one showed to check on the AC unit as someone was supposed to come by this past Friday. I had no call about a cancellation and now I cannot get through to speak to someone when I call their line.

This company has misrepresented themselves and also cost me money.

Don't believe the advertisement on TV, nothing is for free.  They advertise specials but never mention them when providing an estimate.  Their estimate was $6000 to $12000 over our lowest bid.

Had to replace two furnace/AC combo units.  Went through Costco and this is the company contracted with them.  You can tell they try their hardest to keep that contract.  Had a great experience from the assessment/estimate through to the actual installation.  Had two crews on a Friday and they knocked it out.  Oscar, German, Junior, Tenn, and Mike were friendly and hard working.  Even the roving parts guy Jose was a pleasure to talk to even though he's a Dodgers fan.  The units are working as they should and are so much quieter than our previous system.  I had one nittenoid item of taping the duct insulation on our downstairs unit and notified them.  They came three days later on the Monday to remedy the situation.  Thankful for such a positive experience.

Aire Mechanical is the best in the city for heating and cooling needs. I have used them for my residence and rental properties over the past few years. They arrive on time, check all details, and do repairs or maintenance well. Aire Mechanical saved me over $300 over the competition for a new swamp cooler installation. I trust their techs to treat my renters with professional care and courtesy. The office staff is great too! And their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Signature is a terrific company. I got my new HVAC unit a couple years ago in August and they provided me with a mobile a/c unit while they were working. Anytime I have a problem they send someone out and it's solved.

I contacted Signature because my neighbor used the company while I was looking for an A/C guy. It cost her a lot of money, but they fixed her issue. I even mentioned my neighbor so they would send the same guy. I was not so lucky. I scheduled an appointment  and was told they would show up on Wednesday. No time given because they don't know, but I'd get a call when they are on their way. Fine, ok, I have the time. Wednesday comes and it gets so late the in the day I realize they are not going to come, about 3 something. I then get the phone call from them telling me that they were not coming. The earliest availability was the following Monday. Once again, I have the time, so but I'm annoyed. I spent my whole day waiting for them. Monday finally arrives and 2 guys arrive. Neither were the one who did my neighbor's AC. One guy was being trained. I contacted signature  because my condenser was no longer producing water and I'm worried as to where that water is or what broke. I showed him my neighbors' units (condos with same AC) with obvious amounts of water coming out of them, which is how my AC used to work.  After sending the trainee to do all the work while the pro just looked at him, I was told my unit was normal everybody else's unit was working correctly. I guess magic fairies fixed my AC over the winter and spring. I paid for it and I know it is my fault. Please do better.

Don't bother to call...I set up an appointment for today and when they didn't show, I called to find out why.  We have nothing scheduled.  WASTE of my time!!!  Don't waste yours!

I called on a Friday afternoon and asked that a technician come out and give me a quote to fix an issue caused by a different plumber.  I was told that the tech that came out would call in advance.  Sure enough, Monday morning first thing I got a call and the tech was there promptly.  He listened to my request for varied estimates and then offered to email them to me.  I was given the option of purchasing my or hardware or not - and that I appreciated.  

After shopping around a bit, I ordered the parts and picked them up the following day.  Then I called to schedule the repair work. The tech was going out of town, but he put me as a #1 priority and came out the same day.  I could not have waited!  He was so patient, even when the shut off water leaked and caused him headaches (the city did the water shutoff).  In the end, I was completely awed by the technician's standard of work, his willingness to entertain my input, and best of all that he stayed until the job was done.

I will always call upon Signature in the future and will recommend them to others.

On Saturday, I scheduled an appointment for Signature to come out to my house on Tuesday at 5:00 pm to give me a quote for the installation of a mini split system which I am excited to purchase. I received a confirmation call on Monday which I did not answer because I was driving. I listened to the message which confirmed my appointment, instructing me to call back if I had questions. I did not have questions so I didn't call back and assumed all was good. I raced home after work to meet with Signature on Tuesday as scheduled but they stood me up. I called their office and was told that no one was coming because I didn't return the call. I told this company that I am buying a new HVAC system BUT NOT FROM THEM. Such crummy non-existent service!!!

One of their work vans was pulling out of a shell station on Rio grande this morning and as I was crossing the street, instead of letting me finish passing, he just decided to pull out quickly in front of me almost hitting me. Y'all need to get your drivers under control.

It was so nice to wake up to heat this morning! Aire mechanical not only knew my need but took care of it in a timely manner! I would still be on the waiting list if I hadn't called aire mechanical! This company was fantastic. They went above and beyond. We had a furnace and a water heater installed. When I had one concern, they came back out to check on it. (It ended up being nothing.) They even swept their work area after they were done.

Dishonest company. Their quote for a new HVAC unit was more than twice other reputable dealers. That said, they can charge what they want. What was terrible about them is that they lied about 'changes to electrical regulations' in the state yet when asked what changes took place, they couldn't refer to any. This company employs fear tactics to compel potential customer to work with them. When I spoke with their production manager, he claimed my ignorance. Horrible service and dishonest company, stay away.

I would like to thank Trish (service) and Jeremy (tech). They were professional and got us cooled down. They were swamped due to unseasonably warm temps and everyone calling at once to start coolers or for AC work. Called around and they got us taken care of in days not weeks.Both are real assets and are appreciated. Highly recommend!

Talk about great service.

From the start of ordering service on 12/4 to having service occur it had been handled so professionally. From two calls to confirm and the arrival time of the tech....well done!

Typically you are given a window for a tech to show up, this is typically a 4 to 5 hour window. Signature gave me a 2 hour window and Jose was here early! You have to love that.

Thorough, friendly and professional.

Handled everything and did not state unneeded things.
What did this do, it created trust. Signature is my HVAC company and I have already hired them for spring service.

We just swapped from swamp to refrigerated air. The salesman came twice, once for initial assessment and then after providing a quote for paper signing and a final quote. He came after 5 on a weekday and then again on Sunday! So nice not to have to take off work! Then came on Monday with his expert to double check requirements for actual installation. Tuesday afternoon two crews of guys, one for electrical and one for installation. Electrical work was done within 4 hours, installation crew had to return the next day due to rain.

The installation crew, Joel and Adam, were personable, knowledgeable, efficient, professional, thorough, tidy, and down right amazing! Everything you could ever ask for in a team. I will 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for a company to swap over their system!

It's been about 2 years since they installed a new cooler. DO NOT HIRE THESE SORRY CROOKS!

They sold us on how low maintenance this new unit would be but today we find out the new units are cheaply made with no way to lube the motor (the old motors had a way to lube them) so we are looking at spending $400 to $500 every 2 years to replace the new motor?

Obviously a huge bait and switch.

Try doing business with an honest local service. NOT THESE CROOKS.

We recently had our swamp cooler converted over to 2 AC units from Signature. The work we had done was very labor intensive and took more man power to complete. The workers - about 6 or 8 came the 1st day to remove the old swamp cooler units and put in the 2 new AC Units. The sales rep had told us one thing. But, the workers told us something very different. We were confused on why one was tell us one thing and the other was telling us another. We were also told we would not be able to run the AC units until the PNM inspectors were able to come out - which would be in early July, so we were to go 1 month with no Swamp or AC unit. They were able to get 1 of the AC units up and working. However, we had to wait until the end of July to get the panel upgraded and PNM inspection done before they would be able to turn on the 2nd AC unit. At the end of June they came out to do the panel upgrade, all I was told from the phone scheduler was that it would be 1 day. It was about 12 hrs we were without power - no fans, no nothing. The refrigerator's kept the food cold / frozen all day, which I was very thankful for. However, 12 hrs with no fan or any type of AC unit was a very long and hot day. I don't think they communicated time lines - how long this day was to take or how long this was to take very well with us. One person told us this another person told us that. I don't think they have the 'finished' look correct. WE have exposed wiring outside the house. WE had to change out the cover plates and tape the walls from the holes that had been left by changing the switch plates locations. They never removed the swamp thermostats. We the home owner had to fix that. We are to receive free pads and so far we haven't received any free ones.

We purchased expensive mini splits from Costco and Signature was their contractor for installation. They are currently about 2.5 years old and have never worked properly. After many expensive visits from Signature they wanted over $2000 to repair a problem that was caused by them. They didn't install one of the units correctly which resulted in a costly leak. I do not recommend this company.

So frustrating to deal with this company.  They installed it wrong the first time and they had to come out again to do it right.  Now on my third visit to try to get things right.  I was just told when I set the appointment that I could not be given a window arrival time, but instead needed to set the whole day6 aside for them to show up at their convenience.  I will Never buy from this company again.  Never.

I had an appointment for an estimate at 8:00. am. At 9:00 am I called to see when the electrician would be arriving. I was told that he was delayed and would not be able to get to me until afternoon. I told the receptionist that a phone call would have been appreciated.
We rearrange our lives to accommodate these situations. Why can't they be professional?
I will use someone else.

I brought in Aire Mechanical for a second opinion about the current state of my furnace as well as a furnace servicing.  What a complete difference from the first company!!  Matt was a trustworthy fellow who gave solid advice and eased my concerns without even knowing what the first company had stated.  And that first company quoted me $3,000 for repairs and reconstruction...AMI's service call was only $150.00 and my furnace is just fine...

Definitely go with Aire Mechanical and try to get Matt if you can.

Honestly garbage company. Had issues with a mini split they found the leak I told them I had a warranty with the company and they insured me when I got the new inverter (outside unit) in they would install it and pressure test it and make sure it's good. Called them when I got it in and now they're refusing to work on the unit.

Found Signature Plumbing H/C through HomeAdvisor, they responded immediately to my inquiry and scheduled per my convenience. Mark and David performed annual Navien tankless water heater service taking only 30 minutes due to improved pump over conventional type. Very friendly, knowledgeable and speedy service. David even took a look at a shower issue and explained how and why it was working as designed. Big help! Their price was less than another plumbing company I had been using prevBased on this experience, I will use them in the future and recommend them as professional and proficient service.  
Update: August 5, 2019, had technician out again for tankless water heater annual service, couldn't be happier with promptness, service and follow up for questions. Great outfit!!

I love Signature Heating - they do the right thing, are friendly and patient. I am a tough A type personality and critic so for me to say they are great and competent - well, it's saying something. I trust them and while a mistake or two has been made in the last 2 years, they are quick to rectify. Trust is everything in my opinion. The employees are always getting training (which makes me feel more secure as a homeowner), they give wonderful free advice and to me, this is everything i want in a professional relationship especially as it relates to plumbing and HVAC.

After being disappointed by another company who failed to show up, we called Signature Heating & Cooling (Aire Mechanical) to turn on our evaporative cooling system for the summer. They were prompt and polite, confirming our appointment the day before and calling ahead to alert us that the technician would arrive in 20 minutes. Once Freddy arrived he got acclimated with our system, explained what he was doing and why he was doing it, gave pointers on how to get the best use of our system, and made sure I felt comfortable properly using our thermostat. He was done in less than an hour, and his professionalism left me feeling secure and confidant (all for less than the original company was going to charge us). Thanks, Freddy!
