Southtown Plumbing

We used Southtown Plumbing twice this summer. The first visit was more of an emergency call to fix two things that needed immediate attention, and the second was to replace something that we had put off for a few years. In both cases, they showed up on time, diagnosed the problems and made the repairs quickly and properly. Todd, the plumber for both visits, was extremely professional, always wore a mask, and cleaned up well after completing the work. They charge time and materials, and were very reasonably priced. They are by far the best plumbing company we've ever used. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I recently found out that had a gas leak in one of my pipes and didn't know a plumber to call.  I happened to be out walking in my neighborhood that day and came upon a plumber getting into his truck after completing a job and he was on his way home.  I stopped him in the street to see if he might be able to take a look at my gas leak and he was kind enough to do it.  He fixed the leak and lit all of the pilot lights on all of my gas appliances (without me asking) and could not have been a nicer guy.  This is a family owned business, and I am so impressed with the service that I received, that I will always contact them for my plumbing needs.  And I have referred them to others.

They had to replace a diverter cartridge but they broke it. Initially, they told me that everything was fine but then I noticed that the water was dripping and not diverted correctly. They  claimed that the spout dripping was normal and I had Grohe sent me a new part to be installed. The new plumber who replaced it showed me how the initial diverter's spring was broken during installation. Very disappointing, especially the fact that they did not take ownership of breaking the part and charged me an exorbitant amount for installation.  They wanted the same exorbitant amount to install the new part.

We had a great experience with Southtown Plumbing (as good as you can when your sewer is backed up).  I called in the morning and Brian was able to come that afternoon. Both Brian and the person I talked to on the phone were friendly and helpful. And the price for the service was completely reasonable.

The best in the business! This guy knows his stuff and is a great asset. Every time I have a plumbing issue he's the one that I call! I would definitely recommend his services.
