Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Our plumbing issue left us without a kitchen sink on a Saturday. After having a general contractor over we realized that the clog was in the pipe down in the basement and it was beyond his ability to fix it.  He suggested we call Roto-Rooter and we are glad we did. The technician came an hour after our call and cleared our drain.  We have a six month warranty on the work he did. For a Saturday 8:30 pm service call I'd say the price was very fair. The tech also left us with an enzyme to pour down our drains once a month in order to prevent this type of build up.  We are very happy with this plumber. I hope we don't need a plumber again but if/when we do we will call you back.

I set up an appointment the night before and the next morning i got a call from the company and Jason came to my house within a hour and checked the my leak in the sink and i happened to have a new part he can use and accepted my coupon of 40 dollar discount.( the online check in coupon of 60.00 is not working) He gave me 3 option and i selected the option to get it done. He did a very good job and replaced my rotten gasket etc. Even they might not the cheapest but they are certainly the best professional for plumbing.

Called on a Sunday evening for emergency service main line said they could have someone out in two hours. When dispatch called back, I was told there are no plumbers available on weekends but could have someone out at 8am Monday.  

So a little confused why website says 24 hour emergency service yet told no plumbers work on weekends.  

Thankfully, we were able to nurse our leak with no surrounding damage.  Our tech did show, Monday Morning, was able to fix our issue and was very courteous and professional.

I knock off one star for the price, but they do say you get what you pay for. I went with Roto-Rooter because they are a trusted name. Bill was at my house early, quickly saw the issue and gave me a quote. He did give me an option to do something that would cost less, but completely replacing the pipe in question will keep me from calling someone else out later.
He did a great job, cleaned up his area when he was done, and was very pleasant. I would definitely call them again (and hope to get Bill).

It's everyone's worst nightmare... the basement sewer backed up!!  The fact that it happened the day AFTER move in (there were clothes to wash and showers to take) wasn't helping!!  

A panicked call to the Roto-Rooter folks assured us that someone would be there within the hour (they were!) and that the issue would be quickly resolved (it was!).  

The St. Paul Roto-Rooter service agent was professional and responsive.  After analyzing the situation he proposed two courses of action... both of which made complete sense.  He also offered a discount on the fee of the second service (I took advantage of the discount).  

Within 90 minute window the work was done!  The service agent answered a few more of my questions and left us with a gallon of pipe cleaner to help maintain the work he'd completed.  

I have to admit, the price I had to pay was more than I'd hoped, but the professionalism and response to my dilemma made me feel my money was well spent.  I'd hire the Roto-Rooter folks again in a heartbeat... which is what I skipped when this problem occurred!  Thankfully, they kept my dilemma from being an all-out disaster!

They came within an hour of my call. The tech was very polite and knowledgeable. He made sure his workspace was clean and explained what he was doing. He gave an estimate before beginning and checked for any leaks before he left. The only con is that it was more expensive than I thought it might be, although less than his estimate at the start of the job.

Very courteous and professional. Able to come out the same day I called and had my drain fixed within an hour.

Dennis, from Roto-Rooters, came promptly and not only did he take the time to make the necessary repairs.... He also took the opportunity to provide education on future troubleshooting and other drains throughout the house. His advice was proactive and preventative and VERY much appreciated!  Highly recommended!

The person on the phone scheduling appointments was borderline rude and I was told I would receive a phone call 30 minutes before the tech came, well I never did get a phone call. As for the tech he was friendly and efficient. As for the value of the service provided I feel that for a service as simple as snaking out a drain that your rates are pretty spendy.

My tenant called at 6 pm that the sewer was backing up through the floor drain.  After checking it out, it appeared to be a plugged main line.  I called Roto-Rooter and they had a repairman at the home by 9pm.  Within 45 minutes, the clog was removed and the system was back to normal.  Great service.

They came fast. It's an old house and they understood the issues. Problem solved. They work fast too...not skipping corners fast, but got it done quickly. Very professional.

My technician was very friendly and informative, and was sure to give me plenty of options (all of varying price) before I made a decision. He went above and beyond the call of duty, and I really appreciated that. I would probably use the service again, unless I found another that was a bit more pocket-friendly with the same quality of service. Roto-Rooter charges flat rates, not by the hour.

They were very prompt and professional. From the time I called I was asked great questions to make sure they could solve my problem the right way the first time. My service tech Brian #936 was very upfront about cost and possible scenarios that could arise as he got into the work. I call at 11:00am and they had Brian to my house by 1:00. Very knowledgeable and curtious. I would recommend them to anyone. He even went above and beyond to make sure he totally resolved the problem. By just checking the main as well. Just a great company with great employees.

After years of sediment building up in our outdated drainage system, our laundry room sink stopped draining. Eric from Roto-Rooter came and fixed the problem. It was quite the process, as our drainage system is outdated, and the job involved snaking in two 90-degree angles. Eric said he would get the job done in one way or another, and he sure did! Our sink drains completely now. It's the first time in 15 years it's drained properly! My family is grateful to Eric for his patience and skill. Great work, Roto-Rooter!

Came out to clear a clogged drain; which was accomplished, but he didn't have a camera to diagnose the problem, so I'll have to spend more for another call.  They made it right by coming out with the camera for no charge and FINALLY have the issue diagnosed.

Having our main line plugged on my husband's 60th birthday was not so fun, BUT Darrell was here within an hour of our 7:30 p.m.call.  He got the main line cleaned out thoroughly and quickly.  He gave us good advice and explained what we should do to maintain the line.  We are now ready for our company to arrive this weekend!  Thank you!!!

Do not use these guys! They will force your to so a job that will cost 5 times the price. I have a simple spigot change and they want to charge me 600+ for the job. The tech said they couldn't change the spigot only because it is not in their policy. He offered a different procedure that cost 5X more so I said no. I still had to pay for the trip even though they could NOT do the job I asked. Such a rip-off. I want my money back! I called someone else and they did it for less than 100. I talk to the manager and it's their policy... but how does a customer know a specific company's policy. Especially when other pluming companies will do the job. I's not my fault that the tech does not want to do the job I asked. Why would I be required to pay the trip charge?

I called Roto Rooter to fix our slow basement floor drain.  Customer service scheduled the service, called 30 mins prior and Wayne showed up exactly as scheduled.  He was very professional and solved the problem.  I would call them again if I have drain issues.

They were there when I needed them.  They came out with same-day service to fix my backed-up sewer line.  They gave me a 4-hour service window, and called less than an hour into it to say they would be on the later end of the window.  I liked the courtesy to know I didn't have to wait with baited breath the whole 4 hours.  The service was done fast and efficiently, and the plumber gave us all the information he discovered so we could avoid the problem in the future.  The price was high, but it was an emergency repair, so price was not the main consideration.  Same-day fast service was, and they delivered!

Clinton G, my Technician was absolutely great.  Friendly, Prompt, Efficient, and helpful.  In fact we have had Roto-Rooter come out three times this past year, each time we have been extremely satisfied.  We will never call anyone else with plumbing issues every again but Roto Rooter.

Called Roto-Rooter after I got an exceedingly high and suspect quote from a competitor.  I should have just called them to begin with.  Dispatch was friendly and knowledgeable - even the operator knew that what I needed was NOT what their competitor quoted me!  She was so friendly and reassuring.  She assigned me a service window of the next two hours.  As soon as I hung up with her, I got a phone call saying a plumber was on the way.  Fred arrived and was clean, honest and courteous.  The job that was deemed un fixable by a competitor was handled within 1/2 hour for half the price.  I could not be happier with my experience. Our utility sink drain was clogged on a Saturday afternoon and Roto Rooter came out within the hour to fix it! Service man Josh (#4348) did an excellent job. He explained everything well, fixed the problem with excellence and cleaned up afterward. Was a professional experience and will definitely use Josh and Roto Rooter again.

Easy to schedule, came early in the appointment window, completed the job quickly.  About twice the price of most of the competition though...

After finding water backing up into our basement on a Saturday night we called a few places and Roto-Rooter was the only one able to have a technician out the same night. Technician arrived within an hour of us calling Jacob (Emp. # 1669) wascourteous, professional and talked through each step of the process to unclog the main line. Hopefully they have permanently resolved the problem but would definitely use Roto-Rooter again if needed. Invoice # 19898034.

We had them come out to fix a leaky outdoor faucet that was fixed by another plumber two years ago. We were hoping that they would not have to tear apart the inside wall again to access  the internal plumbing and the technician that came, Steve #2443, said he would do his best not to tear anything up. He was able to fix everything for us, quickly and in a very professional manner ( i even enjoyed the little dig that he got in towards my wife the Green Bay Packers fan!).
This is the third time we have had them come out for plumbing related work and I have been extremely satisfied with the quality of the work done and the pricing seems reasonable for what they have done at the house. I will be calling again if we need any other related work, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

John (3756) was friendly and efficient. Called as our bathtub was not draining. John had to get creative due to how our tub was installed (and due to its age) but got the clog out. I'd happily work with him again. I find Roto Router to be on the spendy side in general but when you need something like that fixed it is what you pay. Used the online scheduling and that was easy

The technician that was sent out to my house was fantastic! He was here within an hour of me calling, on a Saturday evening, with a sewer problem in my downstairs bathroom. He cleaned up after himself, there's not a trace of a mess even though he worked very hard to get the issue resolved. I would absolutely use the service again, and it was well worth every penny, even though I felt that was an extremely reasonable price for the amount of work he did. Great job, and thank you again!

After I called and made my appointment with Roto Rooter, I searched for reviews and -  given the number of negative reviews - started exploring alternatives. However, my experience with Roto Rooter was positive. Roto Rooter called around 6:20 to advise the tech, Adam, was on his way for my 5-8 PM appointment range. He arrived at 6:30, was polite and informed, advised on situation, then cleaned and resolved by 7:30. I did pay the 1 hr. min fee of $249. less the $50 coupon. So, $200 to clear out the drain same day as call.

I had a great experience with Roto Rooter. I had a small tub leak that was repaired. The plumber was at my house right away and he did great work. He was friendly and did a good job.

Our basement flooded and we called first thing this morning to Roto-Rooter and they were able to send someone out within the first hour of us calling. Jerrett was a huge help and super friendly in being able to identify the problem. Brandon, his supervisor, was able to walk us through the whole issue and we're very patient with all of our questions. He explained everything thoroughly and I appreciated his services. Roto-Rooter made it to my house in a couple hours, quoted me, then got right to work. Even though I thought $300 was high, they honored an online coupon. Brian, the technician was friendly, upfront, no-nonsense. I appreciated the quick, honest service. I would call them again.

We had a clogged drain in our basement that was effecting the use of our toilet, washing machine, sink and shower.  Everything was backed up.  Not knowing who to call, I tried a few independent contractors I had heard about and was told they couldn't come out until Fri (today was Tue).  I knew the issue couldn't wait so I checked some reviews online and called Roto-Rooter.  I was greeted by a very friendly customer service rep who told me that someone could be out to my home TODAY and he even let me pick the time so that I could work the appointment around my work schedule.  

Jeff (#2205) arrived right on time.  He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.  He explained to me everything he was going to do, what things he was looking for and he provided the cost of the service up front and center.  The issue ended up taking quite a long time to remedy because there were several things going on with our drainage system.  While Jeff could have stopped working and considered the job finished when the line became unclogged, he went above and beyond to call another technician to come in with a camera and make sure there were no other issues that could spring up and cause us problems in the future.

The second technician, Aaron (#221), was also very friendly and thorough and he had extensive knowledge about the pipes and drainage systems in the area that I live in Minneapolis, down to the smallest detail which was not only impressive, but helpful in getting to the bottom of my plumbing issue.  Aaron also took a great deal of time to explain what he was doing and looking for and he provided some valuable tips to help us prevent this from happening in the future.  I couldn't have asked for better service.  I definitely will call Roto-Rooter again if I have a drain/plumbing issue.

I had a plumbing up. That was fixed fine.  They said they would clean amd move things ro garage--which I cleaned out in prep. Instead they left all in basement blocking clothes dryer. So I am left moving things before I'm ready so I can dry my clothes. All in all made bad experience worse.

Great service and ability to come on the weekend was a huge plus.  Got the job done quickly and professionally!

Three words: Horrible customer service. I called at 8am about my shower not being functional. I was told that they would have someone out to take a look between 10am and 2pm. What do you know, 2:30 rolls around and I get a call saying they won't be coming today, and that they probably cannot come tomorrow either. Might have been nice if I'd not been left waiting at home for 5 hours, for no reason! I might have called a different plumber.

My technician was friendly and pleasant. He explained the type of service I was going to recieved which was helpful as I had no idea what needed fixing. He also provided me with tips on how to avoid the problem in the future. Thanks!

Excellent service. Called at 8 a.m. & Ray was here by 9:30. Showed me why 18 yr. old disposal needed to be replaced and had one in truck. Prompt quality work.

Do yourself a favor and go with another plumber. This place no-showed on us. They then came out the next day and wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars to fix a bashower handle, which is around a $10 part. Why? Because the plumber would have to go out and find it. Don't pay for an unreliable personal shopping service.

UPDATE: we replaced the shower handle ourselves for less than $15. Much better than the $500+ quote Roto-Rooter gave us

My main line was backed up and my basement drain wouldn't drain. Called another company first and the tech was extremely rude and needless to say he left and I called Roto Rooter - GREAT customer service! Darrell came out, explained everything and suggested I call his partner Mike who handles water restoration. Mike came out the next day and did not try to sell me on services, he was honest and said I could probably do the work myself! Giving 4 out of 5 stars because it was $309 to clear the main line which seems a little pricey.. And now that I'm writing the review I see I could have gotten $60 off. Would have appreciated the discount outright, but overall great service!

Juan from Roto Rooter was successful in clearing my sewer drain today.  He was here less than 3 hours and did a fantastic job.  I had a different company here yesterday, and was told they would have to dig up my front yard to fix the drain, and the cost would be $5500+.  Juan was able to complete the job in a short time, no clean up for me and for LESS than 10% of the previous estimate.  Plus I get a guarantee for the work completed.  I'm a senior and this was such a great experience.  I'll go with Roto Rooter and Juan if ever I have plumbing issues again.  Great Company and even greater people!  Thank you Roto Rooter

Response time was amazing - and then, Juan took the time to understand my situation, made a call to figure out the prior service history (confusing due to a name change) and then explained what he was doing and his thoughts on what was happening in this OLD condo!!  So appreciated the service, experience and professionalism.

Well...once they got here the work was done professionally, quickly, and correctly. However, I think they're overpriced, and over advertised. Their ad said they'd come at night, or on weekends. I talked to their 24 hr dispatcher on a Sat night, they didn't return my call until Monday morning. Shortly after that they did show up and do a great job, but the price was too high. I'm disabled, but in the past I was a very handy DIYer. Roto-rooter charged me nearly $600 to replaced a $100 sump pump. That's too high a mark up for a 45 minute job.

My basement drain had plugged and the back-flow ball had disappeared.  I needed a back-flow certified plumber and Nate (Tech #92) -- a plumber from a 5th generation plumbing family -- took on the task.  Nate managed to uninstall the old drain's backflow check valve, tapped and installed a threaded replacement.  Among the rust that was plugging the drain, Nate found a previous plumber's natural gas brass valve (!) -- no idea how that got into the basement drain!  

Bottom line : St. Paul MN is short on plumbers and I'm thankful that Nate dropped by.

(NOTE : Nate gets 5 stars, but Roto-Rooter gets 4 stars because the first dispatcher who called me didn't clearly understand what I needed and he began to tell me that my problem wasn't worth Roto-Rooter's time.  In the end, a more senior call center representative got in on the call and I sent him a picture of what I needed, and he arranged for Nate to drop by.  So, the one star loss here is because I had to push hard to get someone like Nate to my house)

TLDR: Do not hire Roto Rooter. They are more interested in getting additional money from you and pressuring you into replacing lines that do not actually need to be replaced.

I hired Roto Rooter to clear a drain in my basement. My main line has issues with tree roots, so I also decided to ask that they clear that line as a preventative while they were at it, to avoid needing to call someone in the future. I have had various companies do this type of work for me, and this was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had.

When the technician arrived, they stated that the price to clear both drains would be $700. This is the most I have ever been quoted for this work, but in the interest of my own convenience, I decided to just move forward and asked them to proceed.

Shortly after, a site supervisor showed up, and asked to be shown to the basement. I explained someone was already working on the drains, and he told me he was there to help. Shortly after this, another site supervisor showed up, and I showed them downstairs as well. The three of them spent over an hour in my basement working on the main line. My office is directly above where they were working, and they were mostly socializing while the technician worked on the drain.

After about an hour, I went down to see how things were going. Nobody had even started on the line that was actually blocked, and I was told that they were not having any luck clearing the main line (this line was never even blocked, the work they were requested to do was preventative). I asked if they would please work on the line that was actually backed up, and they said they would get to that next.

After another 30 minutes, I was told once again that they were having no luck getting the main line cleared. The site supervisor put a camera down the main line (which looked quite clear) and found a junction that they stated needed to be replaced.

Finally, both site supervisors left, and the technician started on the drain that was actually blocked. They spent about 15 minutes on it, before calling back one of the site supervisors. Once again, the technician stated that I needed to replace the line as it was collapsed, and that this would require opening the basement floor. He tried to get me to commit to them doing the work the following day, and I told him I would need to think about it. Both the technician and site supervisor left.

In the end, I paid $700 to not fix my problem, and be told that $15k-$20k of additional work was needed to fix the problems.

I hired someone else to get a second opinion. They cleared the blocked drain for $250, and verified that I did not need to replace any drain lines.

Working with Roto Rooter was an awful experience. They used pressure to try and coerce additional work and money from me, and didn't even address the issue I initially asked them to.

Josh was my plumbing tech. and he was wonderful.  He was on time, very personable, pleasant, competent and knowledgeable.  I really felt like I got my money's worth because he was so thorough.  Also, after josh left, I noticed there was not one thing out of place and not one drop of water or speck of dirt anywhere.  I am really happy and highly recommend Roto-rooter.   Having a great technician when you are frustrated about water makes a huge difference in what can be
an awful experience.

My wife and I were both home sick and the floor drain backed up with sewage in the basement. I was bound and determined to fix it myself and tried my hardest to get it. Finally, exhausted I decided to call someone in. When the tech, Deyvi showed up he looked at the situation and gave me a price. I agreed and he went to work. Boy did he go to work. There was no way I would have fixed this myself. He really had to work at my drain to get it open, but he didn't give up until he had it. He did a very professional job and stuck to the price quoted. He left me with good advice on how to keep this from happening again. He was neat and clean in and out of the house.

Nathan did a amazing job!! He came out and quickly got to work and was very professional. I am taking one star away not from Nathan but from Roto-Rooter. Our original service call was for the day before. We rearranged our schedules to have someone home. However towards the end of the window time we were called and told they would not be making it today. It was difficult to have to again rearrange our schedules to accommodate them for a second time.

Amazing service #4348 Josh Came out to fix my backed up floor drain on Christmas day after I had another plummer come out and do nothing then charge my wife for the work that he did not do. Josh was professional and and knew what he was doing and had my drain working in no time. I would recommend Roto Rooter to anyone who needs a drain fixed. Saved me so much trouble after having so much water on the floor and almost having to cancel the party.

We didn't love the fact that their pricing as kind of high, but appreciated the certainty that we got versus an hourly rate plumber. Service was well within their window and was completed without incident. The technician was pleasant and friendly. No complaints.

I called Roto-Rooter and someone picked up promptly. Asked the appropriate questions and with good responsiveness. Within an hour a tech was at the house, Brian (tech #936 invoice #19830571) was: prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and went to work straight away wasting no time. Brian was able to diagnose what the issue was and resolve the issue quickly filling me in after resolution what the issue was and any pertinent information needed to prevent the issue in the future. I had a very positive experience with Roto-Rooter, this was the first time I had ever used them and will use them again. Thanks!

Before you call Roto Rooter, know that you will call them a lot to sort out scheduling errors before you see a technician. Here's my interaction with them so far:

Day 1: Rep #1 helped make the appt for detached kitchen sink, gave 10am-2pm time slot for next day. Explained trip charge but no information about how they charge for the work done.
Day 2 12:00pm: I call to confirm that someone will come. Rep #2 confirms.
Day 2, 2:15 pm: I call. Rep #3 says they can't come. Transfers me to Dispatcher. Says he will call me back..
Day 2, 3:00 pm: I call. Rep #4 transfers me to another dispatcher. He says noone can come that day. Transfers me to manager. She puts me on schedule for next day (Saturday)at 8:00 am.
Day 3, 8;00 am: I call to confirm that I'm on the schedule. I am told by Rep #6 that they have me down for Monday instead. I explain what the manager had said. He says they don't provide plumbing services on the weekends but will find someone and call me back in 10 min.
Day 3, 9:00 am: I talk to Rep #7 and ask for Rep #6. The run around continues the whole day. I talk to 4 other different people. I am finally told that they don't have anyone for that day and will try to find someone for Sunday but will put me down for Monday evening in case they can't. He assures me that I will hear back from him mon Sunday in either case.
Day 4: No call from them.
Day 5 6:00 pm: I call to confirm someone is coming. Rep #11 says they have me down for next day. I am upset. He says he will find me someone now.
Day 5 9:00pm: Plumber comes, looks at the sink and says he doesn't have the parts and will have to come the next day to fix it. The parts needed were screws (that we already had) and glue. He could not provide an estimate.

I hope this is just a comical series of errors and impatience on our part and they are able to resolve this.

The appointment was scheduled quickly. the worker jordan #7014 was extremely professional. he explained to me what needed to be done based on the troubles that appeared .
the pricing is a bit high even with the coupon.
the coupon that yelp shows does not match what the roto-rooter website offers. the yelp checkin link discount of $60 was directed to roto-rooter website to this coupon of $50 it was honored.
how ever like i said above the prices are a bit steep and every extra cent saved for an unexpected plumbing issue is needed.

the most difficult part was the call to schedule and that was because they were very busy and the scheduler had lots of background noise. the scheduling was still rather quick.
based on jordan's professionalism alone i would use roto-rooter again in hopes the the rest of the staff is as solid of a worker as he is.

Took the extra effort to get at a clean-out for the main sewer that I thought had been made inaccessible by a previous owner's poorly-planned remodel.  Provided helpful info on how to prevent future issues.

Roto-rooter did an excellent job. Our tech was Josh #4348 he was very professional and was up front about the pricing. He fixed our problem in a timely Efficient manner. He showed up on time, and did call when he was on his way!

The only positive I can share about my experience with this company was they were prompt in coming out after I called them. (They were at my home within 4 hours of scheduling an appointment.) The tech that came out did zero diagnostic testing to figure out what was causing my utility room floor drain to back up after using the kitchen sink. He simply cleared the floor drain and charged over $300 for about 30 minutes of work. Three days later the water continued to back up through the floor drain... when I called about the issue, the person I spoke with said that they would charge me for another service call regardless of the issue, and if the issue wasn't with the floor drain being plugged and another issue had to be remedied, they would be charging me for that too. I said forget it and called a local licensed plumber instead, who said the issue wasn't with the floor drain - and that they would have only charged me $130 to clear it if it was. $300 down the drain (pun intended) to get a drain cleared that didn't need to be cleared! Stay away from this company and hire a plumber that actually knows what they are doing that doesn't take advantage of their customers.

I was surprisingly impressed. I noticed a floor drain backup problem late on the evening of Christmas day, booked through their website at midnight, and Fred (Tech #4155, St. Paul, MN) was there at 8:30 the next morning. I received email confirmation of the appointment after booking, a call 30 minutes ahead as promised, and a followup email. Fred took care of the problem thoroughly and left the area much cleaner than it started. A professional job.

This place is a joke. You can't even help people who live in Mobile homes. To just say no when you show up. Not saying anything on your website about not servicing us. Thanks I have a toddler in the home and your company can't even take 20 mins to do the job.

The customer service was good - to the people I spoke with to schedule the appointment to the plumber.    The plumber attempted to do all the right steps to correct the problem but the issue came with corroded threads which would require cleaning -- with a tool Roto-Rooter does not have.   This was not the only issue but one that he would have liked to have tried to help alleviate my floor drain backup.   The plumber provided some other options.   I am disappointed Roto Rooter does not have the equipment to assist with the other problem. As a consumer you have full faith a well-known franchise would be equipped.  For a $260 visit, I learned I had a problem, they could not fix and here are some McGavyer options.   I also learned when I sell my house to be more open with the next buyer of the floor drain set up.

I called on a Monday morning at 9 am, and they were at my house by 9:45! I was very impressed with the speedy service. The service tech kept me informed, and didn't do any work before going over the cost with me first, which I really appreciated. The total cost was lower than I expected, which was a great relief. I will definitely call Roto Rooter again!

They came in two hours. And I got the Pipe Shield Treatment to keep the drains clean. Totally worth it!

Contacted Roto-Rooter to come out to my business to do an estimate for work we needed done. They gave me a 3 hour appointment window, called one hour into the window saying that they were going to be late but they did not know exactly how late they were going to be. They called again at the end of the appointment window saying they would be here within 30 minutes, never heard from the technician again or saw him at all. Very unimpressed that they were not able to get someone out within the window or ever show up at all. Did I mention that my business address is within 1 mile of their location?!

The service quality is so good they could charge more and I would still consider it a deal.

Don't use this company, call a local plumber and save $100's. I called to ask them for a quote on installing a new kitchen faucet and garage disposal. I was told they don't give estimates over the phone. They charged me $69 to send a plumber out who quoted me $900 for the work I called a local plumber who did everything for $249. Roto rooter is a total rip-off!

They fixed the blocked sink within 20 minutes of being here. The price like all plumbing or electrical is high but you can find a $50 coupon in their website. My only complaint was that I was given a time range for when they may arrive and told that the specific technician would contact me to confirm a more specific time. He never did and just showed up. Thankfully we were home.

Great service!!  They were on time and fixed our plumbing problem same day we called.  We had root issues, we will use them again.

Unprofessional & Not Trustworthy.

Schedule to have service done today between 8am-Noon.  Roto-Rooter never showed up during window, when I inquired they noted they were, too busy and couldn't send anyone out today.  Inquired with manager who didn't seem to care either.

Roto-Rooter was the only company that was able to help us out on a Sat within a few hours. They had a drain specialist on call and he was the nicest person we could have possibly asked for. He put our mind at ease and took care of the root cause of the flood in our basement and suggested things we should do to avoid it happening again. Jim was a super star.   St Louis Park MN

Setup an appointment online and this was a very fast and easy to use process.   I was called 30 minutes prior to the window of time I selected, but missed the call.  Called back an hour later and they were still able to get someone out in the original window of time that I requested.  Josh #4348 came out and was courteous and professional.  He was able to assess the problem and give me an estimate quickly.   The work was super fast, efficient and professional.  Issue was resolved quickly and to my great satisfaction.  I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone!

We had a sewer back up on a Saturday night.  We called RotoRooter and they were very responsive. The repair person - Steve - actually arrived sooner than initially estimated by the call center, which was nice.  He was courteous and professional, explained what he was doing and how much it would cost, and did the job quickly and thoroughly.

The worst experience - plumber lied about what needed repair. Kicked plumber out of home when I figured out we didn't need everything he said.

If you want the plumber to show up on time, get the job done and be pleasant about it, this is your place.  Never had a bad experience with them.  Prices are competitive.

Friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. John #3756 came out and cleared my laundry room floor drain.  John was professional and courteous. Excellent service!

George, my technician was wonderful! He showed up on time, had a sunny disposition early in the morning and was very helpful. The upfront pricing was great - I was glad to know what it would cost ahead of time and love that there is no additional service call fee. George installed my new garbage disposal quickly and it works well. He was even friendly with my crazy crew of dogs. I would definitely use Roto Rooter again. Ask for George!

We has a great experience with Roto-Rooter! Only moments after finishing Thanksgiving dinner we noticed that the plumbing had backed up. Fred (Tech #4155) arrived within a half hour of our call, provided polite and efficient service, and completed the job in a very reasonable amount of time. Our household was up and running before the first out of town guest headed off to bed! Thanks!

Nathan, Tech #92, did an excellent job of finishing the work on our shower drain, replacing the pipes, and patching with concrete! Very friendly and professional! We are pleased to have a working shower again!

Just used Roto Rooter services and was extremely satisfied. The technician was friendly and explained the entire procedure. It was quick, painless and not as expensive as I thought it might be.
I was referred by a friend who said to choose Rotor Rooter because they come with all of the equipment that is needed and they know what they are doing so there are no mistakes or added charges. That was good advice. I would definitely use them if I had another problem.
