They came immediately and inspected our sewer when a different company (won't say who) said they couldn't access the clean-out.  They were efficient and professional and very friendly.  Nate, (I think) the inspector, was a GREAT guy and we liked him a lot.  Thanks!

I called and made an appointment to have our main drain cleaned. I took half a day work off so I could sit home and wait for them to show up. 45 minutes after I get home they call and tell me they are too busy to come out now and if they do it will be overtime, read: I'd have to pay more money. Are you kidding me??!! All she offered was someone else's phone # to see if they could come out. Thanks for nothing. Oh, and they had to have my credit card on file in case of.... me not showing up for the appointment?? Not sure, but pretty ironic. Terrible customer service. Will never call again and will steer people clear of this crappy place.

I'm super pleased with this company. If you want something done right the first time, schedule with McDonough's Unclog Drains. My home was built in the late 60s and I'm the 4th homeowner. Shortly after I moved in 1 1/2 years ago, water backed up in my basement branch drain. I had a different company come out to clear the clog but I still felt it was moving a little sluggish. Today, it was plugged. I wanted to try a different service and got on google and started calling around. Luckily, I got two awesome techs, Craig and Ralph. One tech is in training and did a great job cleaning out one clogged drain and one slow drain. The drain pipe is steal and corroded and they explained they needed to break apart some of the pieces of the opening to clean out the drain properly. They asked my permission to do this. He made several passes through the drains with the auger to clean out the drain. Then tested both drains with water from two sinks. Water flowed through the drain easily. SIGH OF RELIEF!! They also shot video of my main drain from the house to the street and then I downloaded it to my computer. The price for their services is excellent. They are upfront on their pricing. No hidden fees or charges! I will use again and recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks for your strong work ethic and integrity.

5 stars all around! Andrew was amazing and even cleaned up our basement after fixing/cleaning out our main line. Another company we had tried to use the day before left our entire basement floor wet and dirty, was four times as expensive and didn't even fix the issue. Andrew took the time to clean everything so nicely after leaving (that cannot be a clean job!!), and he was so quick & professional. Would recommend!

Never again. This company has augered our sewer line every 6 months for 2 years. On the phone I was told $175 per hour. Service guy was here for 62 minutes (according to his time sheet) and the invoice was $355.65. They lowered it to $305.75 after I complained. Not the way to do business.

This business is a great example of you get what you pay for. In the best way.

They're not the cheapest but we saw where that money was going. Into the equipment, training, and people.

We had a clogged main drain on a weekend evening. Craig was there in a relative flash and worked incredibly hard to get us back to normal. He tried three different methods and even called in a second guy to help. He truly went above and beyond.

It probably wasn't the cheapest option we could have found, but after Craig was done, I was 100% confident that things were as good as anyone could hope to get them. The camera spoke to how very thorough Craig had been. Instead of a single camera inspection and calling it good enough, or charging us extra to use the camera, it was part of how he did his job and I could see the progress with every new try.

Couldn't be happier with how our service call went, particularly considering how much of a pain drain service can be.

McDonough's will be our go to from now on. But hopefully for maintenance instead of emergencies.

Amazing!  At a moments notice they showed up to fix frozen pipes that were spewing water into my basement.  They were honest, reasonably priced and so incredibly helpful! I can't thank them enough!!!!

Excellent service!  Brian and Ben were both great.  We had horrible issues with our sewer and a few other companies we called could not get through the clog.  Brian got through the clog and was also able to get a video of our broken line.  I highly recommend this company!

My 2 year old daughter dropped a toy train in the toilet and it got clogged. I bought a toilet auger to try to get the toy myself but had no luck. I call this company and they told me their service rate was $125/hour. They came and now the toilet is unclogged and working but the overall service was subpar.

1. The two guys that came to our house didn't tell my wife anything about what they were doing. No explanations or any communication really.

2. No one explained to my wife or I that there would be an extra charge to take out the toilet. Communication was poor.

3. I called to get an explanation for the bill, and the customer service rep said that it was a standard extra charge for taking off the toilet to unclog the pipe. Then she said she'd looking into making things right but she never called back.

I'm glad the toilet is working again but I won't be calling this company anymore. I prefer using a company that communicates its charges before the work is done. I also prefer a company that keeps their word when they say they'll see what they can do.
