Marvel Sewer and Drain

I requested a quote through Yelp and Ben got back to me within the hour to schedule for the following afternoon. He was available sooner but my schedule was more hectic than his. Ben quickly fixed our kitchen sink clog and cleaned up before leaving. He was fast, professional and great sense of humor! I would highly recommend Ben for any plumbing needs!

I have had Marvel our twice to 2 different properties.  Performed great inspections and cleaning of sewer line.  They provided a detailed video of the inspection and are very knowledgeable to answer any questions.  Would highly recommend.

I hired marvel to clean and put a camera through a drain that hadn't been used in many, many years. Marvel was HIGHLY communicative and incredibly easy to work with. They arrived punctual (early even!). Ben was highly skilled at what he did and had the drain cleaned and showed me the inside of the pipe including descriptions that showed his knowledge of his field. As a trades professional myself, I truly appreciate others who take what they do as something to be proud of. Ben clearly takes pride in what he does, and he should. He is good, and his office is one of the best I've ever communicated with.

My home had a long standing problem with plant roots growing into the sewer drain. After several years, the roots grew thicker and became more unmanageable. Several companies attempted to or inspected the drain and could not clear it and offered quotes to fix the problem which all involved digging and ranged from $12,000-$16,000.

Marvel not only was able to clear the problem, but they offered that a fix was not immediately needed and we could wait until next year to see if the problem returned. Knowing this would be a recussing issue, I asked about for a repair quote. Not only did they say no digging would be necessary and could be fixed with a liner, the cost ended up being just over $8000 which included the cleaning.

They did a wonderful job, fixed the issue, and was very fair and honest about my options. All of the people I worked with from this company were prompt, professional, and friendly and I can't recommend them enough.

When purchasing a home, the inspection found the sewer lateral between the house and the street needed to be repaired. Based on the inspection video Marvel gave me a quote in November to put in a CIPP between the house and the street in early January.

The day arrived and Jashon and Kai showed up at the time I was told, they were both super professional and despite me telling them not to worry too much about making the floors dirty, they insisted on keeping them as clean as possible. They made it super clear when they arrived what they would be doing and how long each step would take. I was in and out of the house throughout the day while they were working in my basement and I felt very comfortable leaving them in my home without me around.

In the end the quote I received in November is exactly what I paid in January, and it was much lower than others I received because of the method they use to insert the lining.

I've already recommended them to a friend and would recommend them to anyone else looking for their services.

Ben came to fix a clogged drain in my basement and was friendly and helpful. I had no idea about the problem as this is the first time I've dealt with something like this, and he explained what the problem was and how it would be remedied in a way I understood. I will use his company again, and recommend him.

This guy is scary good and extremely reasonable. I honestly don't think there is anything more he could have done. If there was a sixth star, he would have earned that too.

Excellent, Professional, Courteous!!! I was in a panic when I woke up and sewage had backed up in my basement shower. Ben responded to my call right away. He and his assistant, Sam, came out within a few hours and cleared it all out! His priced was very fair, especially considering all the work he had to do. In addition, he went above and beyond when he made an extra trip back to my home to leave a 'water alarm' for me to use in case water is detected in the future! I highly recommend Ben and will definitely call him again if I have any other plumbing issues.

After my regular drain cleaning guy cleaned the roots out of my main sewer line twice this year and noticed that I had a couple of cracked pipes I got a few estimates for repair or relining. Ben ran his camera down my line and came up with a very good quote for relining the line all the way to the main line in the street. His bid was less than the quote I had for digging up my front lawn and replacing a few feet of pipe. This repair will outlive me and I shouldn't ever have to have the line cleaned out again. The guys showed up on time and were done and packed up in 6 hours, did a great job and provided a video for my records. I highly recommend these guys for relining which will fix the problems for good, instead of cleaning and piecemeal fixes that will cost much more in the long run. We had a great two man crew who were great at explaining what they were doing. Thanks!!!

Marvel completed the work we needed in order to be compliant with Inflow/infiltration. The process could not have gone more smoothly. The price was fair (recieved much higher bids from the others we contacted), they were able to complete the work months earlier than competitors (within a couple weeks of bid), and they did an excellent job. Most importantly, communication and customer service could not have been better. Highly recommend for a stress free experience. Thank you!!

Alex came out and did a wonderful job. Very professional and knowledgeable  He explained exactly what he was doing and why. The price was very reasonable! I was probably like most people when you see your basement flooded... This is going to break the bank. They quoted me their price and that's the price I paid.. no hassles no hidden up charges. 6 month warranty for the job done too. Definitely will use Marvel in the future.

If they have a slogan, I don't know it. You don't need to know much more than this, they really work hard to get the job done right. I'll try to spare you from reading the entire review so I'll hit the high points. They cost less than pretty much everyone else. They bring a bunch of cool high tech equipment that must cost a fortune (they can make a high definition video of the inside of your pipes so you can see what's going on for yourself). They bring a good attitude and friendly demeanor. And they really do want to make your drains run as good as new.

The job I called them out for was a last minute oh-boy-I-need-an-inspection-now kind of situation. Jake came right out and was happy to let me watch what he was doing and explained what was going on. By the way, my house is OLD! Jake had to break a clog in a pipe that was like cement. After much effort he couldn't wash out the scale that was produced. He told me I could leave it that way, it may run out in time, but that I should really have the pipes hydro-jetted. I had been watching the images from the camera in the pipe so I knew he wasn't trying to sell me something I didn't need. There was a lot of scale in there!

Alex came out 2 days later for the jetting. He worked for a long time trying to get everything out of the lines but was having trouble with our unique sewer setup. In the end, he had to come back. Together with the boss, they got the job done. They also were able to give me a lot of information about my sewer lines. Information that was not all good, but it is better to know ahead of time so I can plan for the future. Remember, this is an old house with nearly 80 year old pipes.

In the end these guys did an excellent job dealing with a far more complicated system than they expected. I was around to see a lot of the work they did and to hear them discuss a lot of the situation. It is apparent that they truly cared about how well they got the job done at my house and they have an honest culture of interest in knowing what is going on under every house in which they work.

One last thing, no amount of chemical drain cleaner will do what these guys can do with a real drain snake and a hydro jet. When I think about how much I use the drains in my house and how important it is for them to work correctly, it's a no brainer to call them out when things aren't going down the way they should.

Always a pleasure to work with them. Communication is great. Honest and affordable prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

We got a few recommendations and when Marvel wasn't the most affordable bid, they really fought for our business - so much so that a team member called me to talk through what they offer! I was so impressed that we decided to go with them.

They have a team of trained professions, and quick and efficient, offer a warranty/guarantee and take care of the permit.

A few weeks later, we were scheduled! The service took about 5 hours and you can't flush during that time. The team that completed our lining was knowledgeable and professional, and we feel good knowing we're in good hands if anything happens down the road.

After, they sent us our invoice and will have a video to us by morning showing the final product. Highly recommend the Marvel team!

Strangest contractor experience of my life. They sent an employee out to our house for an inspection. He was super thorough, answered all of my questions, taught me a lot. That was on a Tuesday. Six days later, I hadn't received an estimate! So on Monday morning I called the office, and asked if we'd be getting an estimate. I added, if it wasn't a job they wanted, they could simply tell me. The gentleman on the phone assured me that they are very straightforward, and added that he'd emailed an estimate on Thursday. I looked in my inbox and SPAM folder, but there was nothing. He then replied that he figured out the problem: somebody had made a typo and left the m off the .com part of my address [eye-roll]. He promised to send the estimate right away, and follow up later in the day.

I never received the estimate, or the follow-up! Nothing. Nada.

My recommendation? Don't waste your time with Marvel.

Marvel responded to my request immediately, gave me a quote and scheduled an appointment all on the same call. He promptly showed up the next day, fixed the issue for the originally quoted price. I'm extremely happy with the service I received and will call them again in the future.

Received a competitive quote in a timely manner. Working with them was really easy and they definitely went above and beyond. Very respectful and cleaned up after themselves which was great! Definitely would recommend working with them.

Super friendly and helpful guy! Answered questions and recommended me another local business because a guy was out sick and they couldn't come today. They use a camera to see what clogged the drain and the condition of your pipes.
