Starting with a few local customers, the service and total customer commitment in the developing area caused the business to grow. Through the years, B & D Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning has been active in supporting local and community events and organizations. Today, we continue to be committed to customer satisfaction, timely completion of work, and quality service and products. This commitment is shared and instilled in our entire staff at B & D Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning.

Established in 1982.
B & D Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning has been a family-owned business since 1982. Billy and Betty Daleiden started the operations out of their home in Saint Michael, Minnesota. Starting with a few local customers, the service and total customer commitment in the developing area caused the business to grow. In February 2007, B & D celebrated our 25th anniversary. This marked yet another move to our current location at 4145 MacKenzie Court NE, St Michael, MN. We love having an expanded showroom that provides a larger selection of products to our customers. Through the years, B & D Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning has been active in supporting local and community events and organizations. We are members of the I 94 West Chamber of Commerce and other local chambers. We also hold memberships in the Better Business Bureau and the Minnesota Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors, and others.

At the time of our annual furnace tune-up, we discovered it wasn't going to make it another season. We reached out to the company referred by Xcel's HomeSmart program, and also B & D Plumbing as we always like to keep it local when we can. When the rep from B & D came out, he was on time, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. We decided to replace both our furnace and A/C unit (both 22 years old) at the same time. They were able to complete the job the following week, in one day. We could not be happier with the level of service and professionalism!

The serviceman was here fixing our furnace within an hour of my service call! He was very professional, friendly, and thoroughly explained the details of the problem and what he was doing to fix it. Our furnace was repaired quickly and we are now warm again, thanks to Mark at B&D!

B&D was very responsive when I called them to fix my furnace which had gone out recently. Julie explained everything, scheduled a time for the repair technician to arrive and followed up after the service was completed to see if I was satisfied. Vaughn arrived on time, was knowledgeable and very helpful. He completed the repair, as well, provided estimates to me as requested for additional future service that he suggested. It was a very good experience and I definitely use their services in the future.

We were just charged $450 to fix a leaky outside faucet which took under an hour to repair and no parts required w the explanation that jobs are charged by the project. They've done good work on previous projects thru our contractor, but will not use again for likely straight forward fixes that should be $200 or less...

Took advantage of my wife and charged her $850 to install a $100 pressure regulator. Took less than an hour of labor. They're located 1/4 mile from my home, so travel time was less than five minutes. Overpriced outfit which will try to up sell you. There are plenty of quality plumbers in the area who will do the job for much less.
Seems like maybe like many other service companies these days they are having trouble hiring the right people. They have always been very responsive to service issues until this fall. Have called multiple times to have them return to finish their fall inspections. Can't be too busy to even call to say they will be back at a later date. Cannot recommend this company anymore.
Had them install a new furnace and air conditioning system which was done very professionally with attention to detail along with cleaning up some hoses, pipes and wires while they were at it. I would have given them 5 stars but there were some small items that were not conveyed to us at time of installation but were taken care of quickly upon their visit they provide free of charge for the first check up on the entire system which included testing furnace operation, gas fume sample and a complete cleaning of the air conditioner to remove all dust, dirt and junk accumulated on outside component.
I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for a complete new system.
Doing a bathroom remodel and needed a couple shutoff valves installed - compression fitting, no soldering. A quick job 15 minute job and they charged $560!!!!!!! The young kid that came out was nice and knowledgeable but I told him he is working for a crooked company. UPDATE: B&D saw my review and reached out discuss my dissatisfaction. It shows they cared. We had a good, honest conversation about my opinion and came to a mutual solution. Therefore I have increased my rating from a 1 to a 3 because they want to make things right.
So today was the second time in less then a month I had to use them... But not for the same reason as they do an excellent job..the first time I had them put in a new water softener and then today a new water heater..they are fantastic..their customer service is the best ..I have had two different techs(Mike and Tobey) and both of these guys are great,considerate and friendly..they both were respectful of my home and family...they took pride in their work..I don't plan on using anyone else for my plumbing,heating and cooling needs ever again..top notch
I bought a new house and they've had 3 technicians come over for free to make sure everything was good and they were very friendly and efficient and I've had no problems with service. Jeremy and Drew were great to deal with! A+++
