We had a major sewage issue at our home that we frequently rent out as a short term rental. The folks at Mr. Mudbug were so awesome at diagnosing the issue, then fixing the major problem. We had to have a good portion of our driveway dug out to replace our failing clay pipe sewage line. They were able to come out the very next day, dig up the bad pipe / replace / and refill and repair everything perfectly in such a short time (which was critical to me as I had new guests arriving a few days later). I can't thank them enough. This is not the first time I've used them either, as they have fixed various leaks and issues at the house over the past few years, and I'm always impressed with their professionalism, timelines, and the quality of their work.
Not happy. Had someone come over to unclog the drain in our bathroom tub. The plumber did some work on the drain that was badly clogged and after running the water for 30 seconds he said it was fixed. Him being the professional, I believed the problem to be solved but the next morning while taking my shower I found it to be still clogged. It appears all that happened was the clog was just pushed back further as after a minute of the water running the tub started to fill up so I got to take a shower standing in a foot of water!! I called Mudbugs to let them know the problem was not fixed but they said they had fixed it and I would have to pay them again to come back out. Seriously?? You pushed the clog further back....nothing has been fixed..so I need to shell out another $$$ to do the job again?!! Going somewhere else!

Mudbug was a very professional company. I had an emergency at 12 am and a service tech was a my house 30 min after I placed the call to their emergency services. He was very friendly and identified the problem quickly. While hanging up a picture I hit a pipe and water came shooting out of my wall. I was so worried the problem was going to hit my wallet hard but it didn't! He worked quickly and even helped me clean up the mess. The next day they came out again to make sure the problem had been resolved completely and bring me a bottle of their complementary hot sauce (which is awesome)! This companies degree of professionalism is outstanding. Mudbug will always be the company I call to handle all my plumbing needs.
Scheduled a service appointment twice, and both times no-show and no call. Foolishly made a third appointment with them as they've don't good work for us in the past. And once again no-show no-call.
Never again!! Totally unreliable and unprofessional.
If I could give this zero stars I would!!!! Truly feel like this company tried to con me out of $15k. Called them for their $99 drain clean out that they were advertising...we were convinced we needed a camera inspection instead ($250). Men came out and did camera inspection and convinced us that our pipes were is such bad condition and that there must be some type of major crack or deterioration somewhere....quoted us $15k for all new under slab pipe. Second company came out and snaked entire house and ran camera and everything looked perfectly fine!!! No need for new pipes at all. Tried calling mudbug to speak to their office manager about how we could get such incorrect information from them......so rude and condescending. Told me that everyone has a different professional opinion.....(mudbugs professional opinion just happens to cost the costumer $15k in unnecessary work)

I called this business on a Thursday to perform a gas line inspection and create a permit so Atmos can return service to my rental property. They performed the work on the next day, a Friday. I asked asked if they were licensed and insured and was informed that they were. After the initial inspection was performed I was told it would be a few days before the city inspector comes out to inspect the lines as well. I spoke with city officials and we're told that Mudbug plumbing is not licensed in the city of Gretna where the work was being performed and are awaiting their paperwork to become licensed with them. So they agreed to perform the work without informing me that they were not licensed.
I called and spoke with their receptionist and was told that they were just bought out by a new owner and they did not feel it was necessary to keep their operating license in Gretna, yet they accepted the job and failed to inform me that we would be delayed until they mail in their paperwork and become licensed once again. On the following Monday I was told this paperwork was in the outgoing mail for that day. Instead of Thursday when they accepted the job, or Friday afternoon when the inspection was finished that morning. This delay in mailing coupled with awaiting for the company to be up to date in their licensure caused a six business day (10 full day) delay in my service.
If I were informed that they were not up to date in licensure I would most likely went with another company. I followed up daily with the city to see if they received it and once they did the city inspection was set the next business day. The entire delay was on on part of the plumbing company and not red tape on the city's side, which is usually the opposite case.
Unfortunately the plumbers that come our to perform the job we're very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a shame the front office is inept and performs shady business practices by accepting jobs and performing work without informing the customer that they would have to apply for full licensure and delay the process. I would look elsewhere for your plumbing needs.
