Owner Matt Gardner started in the plumbing trade at the early age of 18 working along side a 71 year old Master Plumber who taught him the tricks of the trade from the very start. like the old saying have tools, will travel, Matt has worked on projects all over southern California. In 2008 Matt settled back where he started in Huntington Beach, and later started his own service business.

Matt was able to come within a few hours and help us with a plumbing problem. Courteous, respectful, and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
I called Matt for fixing my broken main drain after inspection and I would like to share with people why I like him. First of all, his charge was reasonable and lower than other plumbing companies. Second, his schedule was on-time as a promise. Last, he worked very hard to get the job done without any messy and the problem resolving has been explained clearly, plus 1 year guarantee. I recommend to people if you need professional plumbing +35 year experiences, give him a call.
Great response time and took care of my kitchen draining issues next day. Luckily Seashore Plumbing is close to my home too. All in all service was great, Thanks!

Starting Mother's Day our kitchen sink wasn't draining properly. Based on a recommendation from a prior customer, we left a voicemail for Matt at Seashore Plumbing. He contacted us early Monday, and was at our home within 2 hours. He snaked the sink and was done in less than 30 minutes.
Matt was efficient yet personable; and his cost was quite fair. He will now be our go-to plumber going forward.
I also found Matt through YELP and I'm forever grateful. Matt arrived on time, fixed the problem, and was great at reporting what happened (I'm currently in Boston and my home is in Huntington Beach...all this was done over the phone). Glad I found him and would recommend him.
I had a late night plumbing emergency (backed up drains throughout the house) over the weekend. I looked for local 24 hr plumbing services on Yelp and called Matt. He said he'd be there within an hour and arrived as promised. Less than an hour later, the problem was fixed, and we were good to go. Thanks, Matt! Although not inexpensive, he does a good and reliable job. We've used him quite a few times, and have always been satisfied with his work.
Answered my call and scheduled an appointment for an hour later, showed up 30 minutes early. Had a rotted galvanized P Trap under my bathroom sink. Matt had the rotted pipe removed and replaced in under 20 minutes, then asked if he could assist with the leaky shower valve I was dealing with also. He had everything squared away in 40 minutes. It was worth every penny I paid.
When you wake up and there's no hot water it sucks!!!! Especially with two young kids!!!
Thankfully I found Matt on yelp!!! He saved the day.
I called around and no one really wanted to even ball park figure what it might cost. Mike got back to me right away with a number and a very fair one!
Within a couple hours he was here, on time and took care of the job no problem.
As someone who has a family owned small biz I am thrilled Matt is keeping up with giving us a good reputation. Thanks for the hot water Matt!

Responsive, fast with quality work!
I reached out to Seashore Plumbing via Yelp to get a quote to replace a water heater at my house. They responded quickly, on a Sunday, and were able to come out the next morning to get the work done. The quote was fair, and even a bit less expensive than some of the competitors. The work quality is top notch. I'll definitely use them again when I have plumbing needs.

Threatening to file a lien after installing a faulty hot water heater that had a 10 year warranty!
Do not work with these guys they never came in to try to fix the heater a few days after it was installed and nearly blew up we had to have someone else come in to fix it as we went days without hot water now just a couple weeks in they've sent me legal documents and are threatening to file a lien on my property!

Our Water Heater (Gas based) stopped working. Basically lost the fire.
It is GE SG Series - Manufactured in 2008. Yes, almost 12 years.
But it looks new and it is clean.
We sought help to fix via Yelp.
Received 6 responses.
Five of them, saying - it is too old an appliance, just replace it.
(Note: without even look at it! :()
Cost ranged from 1250 to 2000 for tank heater.
And 2500 to 5000 for Tank-less water heater.
(I have heard these water heaters convert water into Gold! Wink! Wink! )
Then came Matt.
Sent him a simple text, with pictures.
He said this can be fixed in less than $200.
Scheduled an appointment at 1 PM.
He showed up sharp, took 33 min.
No debates, no discussions, just straight work.
and Booyeah! - Finished in 33 minutes - end-to-end.
He even came back because I thought the water was not hot anymore after an hour and made sure it was fine.
Note:
Others unanimously said it is not fixable and it will not last, if fixed.
Matt assured it will, the condition of our heater is good enough for it to last a few. While the time will prove it one way or other - his honesty is simply admirable.
Others simply wanted us to make a decision.
One thing I hate is to get forced into, is making a decision without a due-diligence. And thus even if it gets burst tomorrow, Matt catered to my need, customer's need, to buy time.
Guess what, Matt is our family plumber from now on.

Had a great experience with Seashore. Arrived on time for the sinks unclogged that we needed, was clean and was a reasonable price. Could not ask for more.
Matt saved me tons of money! I had another company come out and they told me that I could snake my pipes but I REALLY need a hydro jet which was over $500. I had to get a second opinion.
I called Matt and he was able to come out the same day. When I talked to him he told me that I did not need a hydro jet and snaking my pipes would do the trick. Turns out the hydro jets are for root problems.. which I do not have.
He spent about an hour and a half working on my ancient stubborn pipes and cleared things out. He got on the roof and snaked the bathroom.
Matt is so nice, helpful, and honest.... he was also much cheaper than the big companies (which I know we all care about). Look no further... this is the plumber to call!
I have found my to-go plumber! Can't say enough good about Matt. He showed up on time, was efficient, courteous, clean and got the job done in good time at a fair price.
Responded quickly, needed a bathroom sink faucet replaced. I started the project, but realized it was beyond my abilities. Matt showed up the next day and replaced the faucet and did a little extra work to update the plumbing under the sink. Reasonable, quick, clean and courteous. I would recommend him to anyone.

Matt respondent promptly to my Yelp inquiry with an estimate and indicated he could do the job the very next morning. When he arrived at my house, he immediately understood the scope of the job and set to work. The job was done quickly, professionally and for the estimate that was provided in our original contact.

In the middle of a party at my house, my toilet broke and wouldn't flush. I called Matt from Seashore Plumbing and he arrived quickly and repaired the toilet before it became a bigger problem. I'll definitely use them again!
Cost for the service call was $125. To replace a toilet flush valve was $45. $170 total. I should have shopped around as now I am understanding other plumbers would have charged $120 total.
Plumber was quick to respond. Not very personable.
Matt arrived on time, fixed a troublesome air-gap, was very polite, and his charge was very reasonable. I certainly would recommend Seashore Plumbing.

Great fast service at a reasonable rate!
Had a leaking kitchen pipe connection and they came right away and repaired/added a new gasket.

Matt was a pleasure to work with. I never even met him face to face. I coordinated everything through phone calls and text messages. He showed up at my parents house to give an estimate for a new kitchen faucet installation and to install a new reverse osmosis water filter and within hours of my first call he was there and supplied me with a few options for me to go purchase the units. He then showed up right on his promised time and did a great job. Highly recommend Matt to anybody needing an honest plumber.
Matt replied quickly to my Yelp inquiry (which was after 8:30 PM, mind you) and took care of everything I needed the next day quickly and perfectly!

Matt came out within 45 minutes and was very professional. He quickly gave me a quote for replacing my old main water shut off and it was reasonable. I asked if he could do it today or needed to come back. He said I can do it now and he did a great job.

I almost had to spend $8,000-$15,000 that I don't have for a shower remodel because this company didn't do the job right and were wrong about their diagnosis of my shower.
Granted, I was nice to him (and asked him a bunch of questions in yelp messages that he answered), but that was before I got a second opinion, that was when I believed him when he told me my shower drain pipe was broken but HE WAS WRONG... that's where this reviews comes from. I didn't get a good feeling from him when he showed up at my house and he had a smirk on his face when he was filling out the invoice saying that I needed a new shower drain pipe. Aka from the bids I got from different companies, over $1500 for just that plumbing part of the shower remodel.
I had Matt at Seashore Plumbing (who somehow has great reviews on here), come out to snake my shower drain that wouldn't drain & Matt told me that I needed a new drain pipe because mine was broken- that means digging into the ground and ripping up my whole shower and redoing it. The bids I got were from $8,000-$15,000. I was so stressed out for 1.5 weeks because of Seashore Plumbing being wrong and just not willing to do the work required to do the job right. In my eyes, he would rather me have to pay him the plumbing part of a shower remodel to get more $ from me.
I will never use this company again and would recommend anyone to NOT use this company, because in my case, if I would have just used a different plumbing company in the first place, I wouldn't have even had to be cheated into believing I was going to have to spend $8k-$15k that I don't have. Save yourself the stress and go to a different plumber
So far my favorite plumber ever! Called Matt the 2nd time for a toilet valve and unclog bathroom sink. There within 2 hours. Quick clean. It is so nice to find someone that is a gentleman and honest. I will not trust anyone else for plumbing. Thank you Matt you are a great find!

I had a leak in my main water line next to meter on a Saturday afternoon. Looked up Seashore plumbing on yelp and decided to call Matt. He answered the phone and said he'd be here in 45 minutes and came early. Nice guy, and was able to fix my issue in about an hour and a half! Can't say I know if what he charged me was fair because I wasn't in a position to price quote, but I was willing to pay it. I hope it was though Matt! Thanks for taking the time out on a Saturday to help me out. I was able to talk to him a bit and the guy has an awesome character. If you need help with anything give this guy a ring.
I needed to get a new small bathroom sink installed that I bought at Home Depot. I called three local plumbers for quotes, hoping to get it installed this week. My third call was to Seashore and I spoke with Matt. He said he would come by today between 2:00 and 3:00 PM to give me a quote. He arrived as promised and gave me a very fair price (half the cost of the other two plumbers) to install the sink. He then told me he could install it now if I wanted, so I said yes.
Matt was awesome. He did the job quickly, professionally, and it came out great in about an hour and half. Matt presented the invoice and it was exactly what he quoted. Seashore is now my go-to plumber for any future plumbing related projects, repairs, or emergencies.
Thank you Matt, it's nice to see there are still quality professionals out there that are fair and know what they are doing.

Matt came out really fast on a Sat. No one any more goes on a roof to snake my clogged plumbing. But it's the only access! Thank goodness Matt took all his equipment on the roof & cleared my clogged lines. And his charge was very reasonable. I was overjoyed!! Pipes are original & old...cracked & roots eventually clog pipes. Sooo grateful & thankful for Matt. Super pleasant, too.

A pipe sprung a leak under my kitchen sink rendering it unusable. I contacted several people via Yelp and Matt responded very quickly. He was able to come early the next morning before I went to work, finished the repair in an hour and it was much less$$ than I thought I would have to pay. Excellent. Matt was here in time, neat and tidy. Fixed my leaking toilet in no time at all. I used yelp reviews to select him and I was not disappointed.

Asked for several quotes/estimates on yelp on Wednesday night. Seashore plumbing was the first to respond and had a reasonable quote (almost all the quotes were the same price range). Seashore was able to come the following day at a time when I was available. Matt was very professional and found the problem quickly. I even asked for quotes for some other work I needed done. Very nice guy. Would use again and definitely recommend.

Matt SAVED THE DAY TODAY (on a Sunday no less!)!! We had a mainline clog that backed up our three tubs and shower. My wife found Seashore on Yelp and called them at 10:30am and Matt (the owner) showed up promptly at 12.30pm (his scheduled time). He snaked the line several times until the drain was cleared. His price was very fair for this emergency, Sunday service and he also gave us a competitive quote for adding another clean-out. Seashore's service is punctual, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, reasonably priced. Matt certainly earned our business and I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.
Contacted Seashore Plumbing as they are a local HB company for a clogged main line. Matt answered and immediately scheduled to meet with me in 45 minutes. He was on time and immediately assessed our problem. Once he found the problem he went right to work and within 45 minutes had unclogged both our shower in one bathroom and our bathtub in another. Matt was friendly, efficient and a no nonsense guy. We will definitely use Seashore for our plumbing needs in the future.

Requested a quote on a Sunday morning for a leaking pipe under our kitchen sink. He responded within an hour, didn't charge an extra service fee given that it was a Sunday and stated he could be at my house within the hour. The leak only took a half hour to fix, his prices were very reasonable. Super happy with his service and would use him again in a heartbeat!
Service was great, quick to respond, super flexible with the timing. Showed up exactly on time and was friendly. Completed the work and went beyond original scope of work to fix our cold water too because it would start leaking next.

Very quick response and turnaround. In and out service. He had the run of the house and my son was running around playing peek-a-boo with him while he worked. Really pleasant guy and felt very comfortable with him. He cleaned out 6 drains and had us on our way.
Matt came in to install two toilets for me and haul away my old ones for $125 each. Quick and professional.
We called to have a dishwasher installed and they came out the next day. The plumber wore a mask while inside my house and completed the install in about an hour for a reasonable price.

Matt responded to my phone message within a short period of time! He listened to my issue and was able to accommodate my request for a morning appointment. He arrived in the time frame we had set and immediately got to work with delay!! He showed me the issue and replaced the pipe. And the best thing ever was he completely cleaned the work area with a white glove result. For all my plumbing issues in the future, my condo was built in 1968, I am calling Matt!!!
Great service, fair pricing, only positive things to say about Seashore Plumbing. They came out, gave us a competitive quote and got to work same day.
They installed an outdoor shower for us and ran the piping right off of our water heater. It has been a few months now and the shower gets a tone of use, works great and we are extremely happy with it.

Matt has quickly come to the rescue of my husband & I several times over the years with various plumbing emergencies, & when I say quick, I mean within an hour or less of my frantic phone calls - AND even later into the night, like 10:00 PM. He's amazing at what he does & is fast, affordable, professional, knowledgeable & so nice! Also, he is very clean and never leaves any evidence of his work after he leaves. Such a great guy! I called Seashore Plumbing ,and was very glad I did. Matt did a beautifull job on soldering in my motorized ball valve.The valve was part of my flood prevention project.I could tell he was highly skilled and experienced by watching him. Matt always does a great job at a fair price. Very clean and wore a mask. Always explains things well. I'd definitely recommend him.
We have had ongoing plumbing issues caused by a blocked drain due to roots. I was calling the same plumber almost ten times over the last year and the prices kept changing depending on the day.
Instead of going with that company, I decided to submit quote requests out to nearby plumbers. Matt with Seashore Plumbing got back to me very quickly with a very reasonable quote. I called to schedule and he was able to come by in only a couple of hours.
Based on our first service, Matt was honest, hardworking, knowledgeable and able to tell us all the needed details of the service/where the issue was. The prior company was never able to do that over the last year of service! We will definitely call Seashore Plumbing for our plumbing needs in the future. Thanks again, Matt!
What a night. It started when the lovely missus called me to the garage where we have our washer and dryer. The washer drains into a washtub. I see that it was full and she says that it is not draining. I tried all the tricks on the internet to unclog a tub full of soapy water. No success. The good thing is that this clog is localized and not causing the toilets or baths to fill. Well my daughter has used the services of Seashore Plumbing and suggested I call. He is in the HB area. I called and Mr. Gardner said he would come at noon this morning. Right on time and I showed him the tubs and the drain problem. He was already looking for a vent on the roof. I let him know to get it unplugged. He will go on the roof with his ladder and his equipment. Wow, he said he went about 40ft to clear the clog. We checked and sure enough it was draining like new. Ward Gardner of Seashore Plumbing saved the day and for me any price to get it done was worth it. He takes a CC. The lovely missus can restart with the laundry.

We have used Matt with Seashore Plumbing several times and have always been very satisfied. We renovated a bathroom and kitchen in my Mom's condo and Matt took care of all of our plumbing needs. This included installing our Sterling Kohler shower pan, toilet shower and sink fixtures. Matt also installed our Kohler glass shower doors. All the installations were completed perfectly.
