Best Electricians in Seattle, WA

Fixer Electrician
Our fixer was great in fixing our clogged kitchen sink.  He was quick to diagnose the problem, honest in his appraisal of what would be the best and most affordable solution, and able to get everything done.  We appreciate the convenience and honest and hassle-free process.

Worldview Electric Electrician
I'm hesitating with a 4; it could have been anything lower depending on the day. Worldview took over the contract for a job previously bid and started by another electrical contractor, which is run (I think?) by a friend of Worldview's owner; I could never get a straight answer, which was concerning. Nonetheless, they sent out a tech to install a new circuit, ground a pool light housing, and connect the circuit for said light. Before the tech arrived, another one and his crew showed up ostensibly to drop off the materials (they claimed they'd bought them, but only dropped off a spool of ground wire). When the tech arrived, he had no materials (wire, conduit, circuit breaker, junciont boxes, etc) and no vehicle to go buy them which could hold 10' conduit sticks, so I followed him to Home Depot with my vehicle to transport the 10' sticks of conduit. By now it's ~6:30pm.... I assisted the tech until 9pm, and even grabbed my fish tape to run the wires since he didn't have one! He came back the next day and we completed all the work together. I'm pretty handy and was glad to help, but there's no way this would have been done in 2 days if I hadn't.
To be clear, the tech isn't to blame here; he worked on our job 3-5 hours each day after already working 8 hours on another one each day. Kudos to him!
Worldview did shoot me a Home Depot gift card due to all the inconvenience described above, and I appreciate it. I hope they get more organized going forward and can succeed.

Huckleberry Electric Electrician
Came as promised for the consult and on time. Ended deferring my electrical work to later due to my budget but would definitely work with them again.

Seahurst Electric Electrician
This is the 3rd time using Seahurst and they have provided the same great service each time.  They installed a charger for my Tesla. Their pricing is transparent and very reasonable compared to other companies.  Rob was professional and explained the electric panel and work to be performed.  He  was friendly, on time and cleaned up after performing the work.  He even prepared me for the town permit visit.  Excellent service and would definitely use them again - thank you!

Alpha & Omega Electric Electrician
Communication is trash.

When I contacted Alpha & Omega (email, my preferred method for communicating), I had already had two different electricians examine my wiring issue. They both recommended the same basic fix. I emailed the fix to A&O & asked whether the job interested them.

The owner said it did. A woman sent me their rates, I agreed to them, so we scheduled an appointment.

The appointment, in hindsight, was absurd. The electrician arrived only to retrace steps (slowly). I figured he'd get to work... eventually.

Nope. At minute 90 or so, he tells me he's leaving for another job. OK, I ask, What next?

I'll submit the information and we'll send you an estimate, he says.

He leaves. What the hey? He shows up to do a 2-hour estimate for a specific job request?

I get the estimate the next day. It's a fair price. But then, two weeks later, I get a bill for the estimate: $600 for a service I didn't ASK for or NEED!

(Should've watched the clock.)

Asked for an explanation over email... nada.

Providing easy answers for obvious questions is not a complicated endeavor. Other electricians do it. Alpha and Omega has been around since the 1980s, and they still communicate like it's... well, the 80s!

Konsker Electric Electrician
Avoid.  Had them come out to look at smoke detectors that were going off periodically with no smoke present.  They couldn't find a problem, and replaced two smoke detectors.  (The problem persisted.)  They charged over $500 for less than an hour of work and $70 worth of hardware.

Cottage Electric Electrician
Cottage Electric saves me again! I had a power issue that I spent over 6 hours trying to figure out. I finally called Ted at Cottage Electric and he sent Buck. Buck is the Man!! I've used them before so I knew they were more than qualified. Buck was able to find out the issue in a matter of minutes...I'm too embarrassed to say what was wrong but Buck got us powered up in no time.

We also had Cottage Electric install our custom dining room lighting. It was a hot mess and there was no way I was able to figure out all the wires or know how to install it. Buck was sent to install the light and it looks incredible. He did such a great job and managed to install it using existing power and not ripping apart walls. The lighting fixture is a stately conversation piece and it looks incredible.

I highly recommend Cottage Electric because they have always come through for our needs. I have used them 4 times in the last 3 years and no doubt will call upon them again. Thanks, Ted and Buck!

A&A Electric Electrician
Alex of A&A Electric has helped us with our home electrical needs several times and we would highly recommend him.  He upgraded our main panel, added outlets, installed lights, and much more and was efficient, neat and very competitive cost-wise.  Very easy to work with and also creative and honest about finding less expensive ways to fix problems.  Don't be suspicious if all of his ratings are 5-stars because he really deserves them!

Seattle, WA
Raincap Electric Electrician
I had a great experience with Raincap for a knob & tube replacement in my 1930s home I bought last year. I got a few bids on the project, but Raincap stood out. Bryce came out to inspect the work required and had some great ideas about how to approach the replacement with minimal damage to the walls.

When the project began, the team of Jon, Gus, and Mike did a great job keeping me in the loop on what they were doing. Mike found a few issues beyond the scope of the project that would need to be addressed--the main panel was missing an inspection sticker, the grounding wire was the wrong gauge, the water and gas lines weren't properly bonded, and there were no grounding rods in the yard.

Everyone at Raincap communicated with me very well about these issues and, despite an extra day of work being needed, the total ended up being less than some of the original competing quotes. I had a great experience and I recommend Raincap for any electrical projects.

NW Electricians Today Electrician
These guys are great. They installed a wall oven for me. They really went the extra mile because the oven didn't fit perfectly into the cabinet. Rodney and his assistant got out some carpentry tools and made it work. Way beyond the call of duty for an electrician. They also got the whole job done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use them again.

This company replied to my request very fast. I put my request on Yelp on Saturday (12/15), I got their Yelp reply on Sunday morning, scheduled on-site estimation on Tuesday, and the job was done right after Christmas and  we passed the inspection smoothly. His name is Dimity and he is awesome! I appreciate his great work!

Bel-Red Electric Electrician
Driving well over the speed limit in a box van on the top of Hwy 18 Eastbound at Tiger Summit cutting off a Semi Truck in the rain was the stupidest driving maneuver I've seen in a while. In the end while doing the speed limit I ended up behind your truck in the turn lane stop light entering I90 West. Drive better B18704X (license plate)!
