Best Electricians in Seattle, WA

Austech Electric Electrician
Ian Cleary of Austec Electric has been our electrician for three years, since we bought our home in Shoreline. He was recommended to us by a friend after he re-wired their home. Since the first time we hired him, my impression is that Ian is friendly, professional and does great work. We've had him replace fixtures, install much needed overhead lighting in our basement, and rewire and update circuits. He responds quickly and completes work promptly. We're very happy to have a go-to electrical professional who we trust and highly recommend him!

They have a lot of stuff here. Staff is friendly, especially Becky. Great and quick service, everyone is knowledgeable. High end lighting at discount prices. Great combination. Had to come back and pick up something huge, it was already at the bay ready for pickup. I just had to back in and pull off.

Boyer Electric Company Electrician
I used Boyer Electric in a condo remodel previously and was very pleased with their work & punctuality.  Quotes were fair, people were professional, promises were kept.  Therefore, I wanted to give them another opportunity at my new house.

My Dryer would not power on and from some minor self-investigation, I found that one of the power legs had a break somewhere between the circuit board and the outlet.  I called-up Boyer and was told there was a (2) week wait for non-emergency response (understandable considering the level of Contractor they are).  I took my reservation slot but was contacted a few days later saying a slot opened at 7:30AM the following day.  The Electrician showed-up on-time with all tools, wire, equipment necessary.  Chasing the wire involved going into my attic and crawl space (due to an add-on at my house, this is actually (2) separate attics and (2) separate crawl spaces).  Access to these spaces is very tight, but there was no complaining.  Additionally, while the Electrician was in my crawl space he informed me there was ductwork disconnected and he fixed it while he was down there with a little duct tape.

Spent 45 minutes trying to fine the break, but couldn't locate it and it wasn't worth the time to continue to chase.  There was an expensive way to fix the issue (cutout drywall and do an end-to-end termination) and an economic way to fix the issue (reuse existing wire where he knew it was good and splice in junction boxes with new wire).  All-in-all, he spent (2) hours, fixed my problem, and identified/fixed some other problems i was unaware of.  Thank you Boyer Electric - you have a lifetime customer.

MAD Energy NW Electrician
Our kitchen lights and bathroom outlets just randomly stopped working after being in our house for a year. I reached out to MAD Energy NW after seeing a Facebook post about them. Hailey responded within hours to see when we could have Mike come out and gave us a quote for what to expect. They were able to come out within one business day.
Mike was on time and really friendly. He was great with the dog, explained everything he was doing, and upgraded our stuff where he could. He was so understanding and careful with our belongings and kept everything clean.
I would recommend Mike to anyone who needs electric work and wants to support an amazing local business!

Holiday Lighting Pros of Seattle Electrician
The Holiday Lighting Pros were a great find!  We wanted the trees lit up outside our office building for the holidays; they were the most reasonable price wise.  I saved $600 from another quote with a similar local service.  Wil and his team immediately reponded to my request, even though I called right in the middle of the season and came after business hours to provide a quote - we were pleased to have the lights up within a couple of days and I have to say, our sidewalk trees have more lights than the trees at the surrounding buildings - we look festive!  In addition, the team that showed up was well groomed and professional.  They worked with the building manager to gain roof access for power; they made it super easy on me!  Highly recommend!

Tribal Electric Electrician
Tribal electric helped me with my outdoor home gym, connected everything and the inspections went smoothly, because Boo has such a great reputation.
I called Boo to find out why my hot tub wasn't working, and it was not hooked up, so she sent Ryder to install new breakers and move electrical around for power to my hot tub. Ryder was quick and efficient. I'm very grateful that Tribal Electric has come into my life! You will be too, if you hire these amazing people!

All Wire Electric Electrician
Needed to have a few wires fished from one area of my 1927 home to another. I scheduled the consultation, the gentleman was polite and surveyed what I needed done and discussed opportunities to make it as efficient as possible. We wanted to minimize the number of 3 inch holes he would need to cut to fish the wire, which was his concern, as well as ours. On the day of the work, Dave came out and he was excellent. We spoke briefly about the scope of the job and he confidently started his work. Only 3 hours later he was completely finished and cleaning up! I was quite pleased. He did have to make a few holes to fish the wire, but he discussed this with me upfront and we mutually agreed to a range. Dave was focused, efficient, and respectful of my home, which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Dave and All Wire Electric!

Allred - Heating Cooling Air Quality Electrician
Couldn't be happier with their service.  We have bought a new furnace and heat pump with them (not at the same time) - and we keep coming back. Both times they got us out of a pinch!!!  Great customer service, response time and pricing!  Would highly recommend - Chris our comfort specialist went above and beyond and Eric was great with the diagnosis to help us make the right decision to move forward.

Mercurio's Heating & Air Conditioning Electrician
I would not recommend Mercurio's Heating. They serviced our HVAC system for several years. We recently moved, so we gave Mercurio's a call to come out and service the HVAC system at our new address.

When the service tech came out to our home, he stated that return plenum was installed improperly. Indoor coil very dirty. Filter was not installed correctly.
Interior of air handler is coated in rust. There is no charging chart or documentation for heat pump. Unable to determine refrigerant levels, high probability it is an R22 system and that is is low on refrigerant which could indicate a leak in the refrigerant system.Recommend replacing the system due to age, condition and inefficiency.

When I informed our real estate agent about the issues with the system and that the recommendation was to replace the whole system, we all became very concerned. Our real estate agent recommended that we get a second opinion.

So, we had another HVAC company evaluate our HVAC system. The tech said that the rust on the air handler was just surface rust and can easily be cleaned off. He agreed that there is a refrigerant leak. The Mercurio's tech stated that R22 refrigerant is hard to get. The second HVAC contractor said that R22 refrigerant ISN'T hard to get and stated that he had 4 bottles in his truck!! The tech also mentioned that the capacitor and contactor needs to be replaced, as well as the condenser motor! The technician from Mercurio's did not mention these deficiencies!! The other HVAC company that looked over our system stated that the air filter was very dirty!! Mercurio's serviced our HVAC system ONE week ago, so the air filter should not have been dirty. Did the Mercurio's technician even change the air filter?!

We feel that Mercurio's was not completely honest with us.

We were not told that the rust on the air handler is just surface rust
We were not told that the refrigerant leak was likely just from the shraeder ports
We were told that our HVAC system should be completely replaced!!!
We were not told about issues with the capacitor and contractor
We were not told about issues with the condenser motor
The air filter is still very dirty after the Mercurio's tech serviced our HVAC system.

We had to pay another HVAC tech to come out and look at our system. We feel that Mercurio's should compensate us for this additional cost. We also feel that we should receive a complete refund for the Mercurio's servicing, as the tech did not service our HVAC system properly.

As a side note, our new HVAC contractor was able to repair our system for $600l and feels that we should get at least another 10 years out of our HVAC system. This is much better than Mercurio's quote to replace the entire system for $10,000 to $14,000!!!!

ANM Electric Inc Electrician
We'd been struggling with the hot water tank and going back and forth on if it was the tank or the circuit breaker and panel. This was going on for a week so no hot water for 3 girls living in the house. Andrew with ANM came out yesterday in the evening, probably after a long day, and figured out the problem almost immediately. One of the elements was out in the tank so he worked some electrician magic and made it so just the working element was getting electricity. This stopped the tripping of the circuit breaker and gave us hot water! Just waiting for the replacement part now but that wouldn't even have been possible without ANM electric and Andrew. I highly recommend this company. They are responsive and knowledgeable and I have no doubt they can fix the problem.

Expert Electric Electrician
Brad and Andrew have been great to work with!  Very meticulous and thoughtful. We purchased an old West Seattle condo in desperate need of a remodel. The kitchen turned into a much more extensive project than we could have ever imagined. We ripped out existing walls and totally moved counters and appliances around the space.

We required an entire new electric panel so we could bring more power into the kitchen and reroute our oven wiring to the other side of the kitchen. They had to interpret where to precisely place the new oven outlets off the blueprints because the cabinets weren't in and the appliances were still on back order.  That required lots of matching the blueprints to the required appliance cutouts and tons of measurements.  Andrew had to cut entire new routes from the utility room to the kitchen. He was as careful and precise as he could be. Our Drywaller was able to place Andrew's drywall cutouts right back in the holes and patch them back in place.

They came and went as our project progressed and the new kitchen began to take shape. We now have new ceiling lights, under counter lights and even the skylight has concealed LED lights shiny up into it. We love our kitchen and in large part due to Expert Electric and Brad and Andrew's professionalism.

Seattle Lighting Electrician
Been ordering with these folks for over 3 years...like always, roll the dice and they might get it right the first time, or it might (usually will) take a lot more work and patience on your part.  I never promise a customer what this store promises me, speaking of delivery.  I like the selection, and one or two of the folks there (Seattle store) are quite clever at helping with solutions to lighting projects you might have, however, the follow-through is pretty lousy (We'll call you when it's in--Never, not once, I call to ask), and the coordination just plain sucks (for my experiences, the warehouse folks have usually been able to correct ordering errors the sales folks made).

When you're buying pricey items, you want assurances of quality.  You want information.  You want undivided attention.

When a competitor with selection and service appears, I will leave you, Seattle lighting.

South West Electrician
After South West Plumbing performed quality work on Tuesday, we realized that their driver parked his vehicle on top of our water meter box. After being gone on a business trip for 3 days, I come home to find that our water meter box was flooded with water and that the water meter cover was crushed. Having to use a crowbar and hammer, I pryed the cover open and discovered that the water pipe on our side of the meter is leaking. I called South West Plumbing to report the issue and they say that it will be covered as a warranty issue and someone will be out soon. Their crew came out and both pipes on the water meter were loose but not cracked - thank goodness! They tightened the pipes and all was resolved under a warranty issue.
