Best Electricians in Seattle, WA

Had a leaky coil on my heat pump. They came out and diagnosed the problem and we're able to replace the coil rather than replace the entire system as another company had said needed to be done. The cost was about a quarter of what an new system would have cost.

Their website says that they have 24/7 service but that is not true. I had an issue on Saturday evening, I called them, no answer so left a message. Tried calling them few more times but never heard back from them.

I had a pretty significant addition put on my Mill Creek house and Wired Seattle did all the electrical.  They were really fantastic.  They worked with us to plan out the project and were very thoughtful about speaking our language.  I would highly recommend them.

I am not easily impressed, but this company is outstanding! I requested bids to install an EV charger from 4 different companies, 1 of whom was a no-show. Brent from Washington Energy was by far the most thorough and professional and gave me complete confidence that they were the right company to hire. Daniel and Cornelius did the install and they were on time, polite, professional, efficient and finished earlier than estimated. They did a great job and the city inspector confirmed that they did an excellent job. I would absolutely hire this company again! The interactions I had with everyone in this company were above and beyond - I'm definitely impressed.

I always thought this place was for big contractors and pro's only.  Wrong. The big box stores didn't have what I wanted so I decided to try Platt, and I'm glad I did. Very good customer service. Competitive prices. Have any wire type you can imagine.  Big warehouse in back full of stuff, just ask the guy at the desk what you're looking for. They double/triple check your order and get it right. Attentive, even to the little guys like me.   Parking lot full of white ford econoline vans. They're doing something right.

I had heard great reviews about them. I called them over for getting an EV car charger and transfer switch + setup for generator , multiple external plug points, multiple lights.

I worked with Paul and he was amazing. It took 2 days but he got everything done and just yesterday when we lost power, i was able to use the generator setup for the first time...

coming back after a year to leave this good feedback as I plan to call them again for additional work at my place.

These guys were great! Joe responded quickly to my request for a quote through Yelp.  His guys showed up on time, introduced themselves by name, and did a quick and professional job.  The main job was to replace an old electrical switch breaker panel (which they did within the time and cost quoted) but I also had a list of other issues for them to solve and they solved every one.  They were nice, respectful, and communicative. They did a great job and I would recommend JW Electric to anyone.

Paul installed two new circuit breakers in our house for our home gym and he did an amazing job.

One of things I appreciated was that Paul gave us a detailed quote, explaining all the costs associated with his work and even gave us a window frame of how long the work would take him to complete.

Paul is also a great communicator, with explaining what he's doing when he's doing it and asked us crucial questions, before proceeding with the work.

Another thing I liked was how he labeled the new outlets, so we know which plug belongs to which circuit breaker. Also when he was done it looked like he wasn't there, no mess, just two new outlets with labels.

Last but not least, Tacoma Power came to inspect his installation which Paul told us is required, Paul even gave us a form explaining that with other detailed information. So when the electrician from Tacoma Power came over to our house, the electrician took no more than 5 minutes to look over Paul's work and said everything was great. I asked the electrician if he needed to know who did the work, and he said he already knows that it was done by Paul based on the work. The electrician also stated that Paul does high quality work, and is one of the best electricians he knows.

Keith is an incredibly friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable electrician. I found him through Amazon Home Services and he installed some smart lighting in my home. He was on time, courteous, and got the job done right.

Keith also spent a bunch of time with me after he finished the installation to help me figure out how to connect my shades to my smart hub. He climbed a ladder and pressed the tiny buttons as I read various instruction manuals on my phone. I was afraid that muddling with all the settings would leave me with a messed up shade, but Keith stuck around to help me set it back to where it was. Unfortunately it didn't work because I had the wrong smart hub, but Keith found the right equipment for me and sent me a reasonable quote to get it all done.

Definitely the guy to call if you need electrical work done.

While getting ready to sell my condo, my building inspector discovered a problem with my electrical panel. I contacted Karlin, who answered his phone, and explained the situation. He asked me a few questions and requested photographs so he could properly understand.  I texted the photographs to him, and he responded very quickly letting me know that he could do the work later that same day and gave me the price via text. He kept me abreast of his schedule and contacted me when he was on his way. Once he arrived, he brought in all the parts he needed and fixed the problem very quickly.  He gave me several options for payment, and I chose Venmo.  I later decided I needed to get an invoice from him, and he sent one quickly upon request via email. The entire experience with Karlin was pleasant, quick and easy.  I will remember him for any of my future electrical needs.

Pros - Just came by and handled a bunch of items for us.  Arrived on time, worked fast.   Great service.  Would recommend to others.

Cons - Pricey.  Learned my lesson to buy supplies instead of having them bring them.   They charged us $40/each for dimmers that I should have bought at Home Depot or Loews for $20/each.

All in all, good service and the guy (Mike) was very quick and pleasant.

I had a small job at one of my rentals and they were more than happy to come and get it handled.  They were fast and efficient and didn't rob my wallet.

Our older home has a more complicated issue that needs to be resolved ASAP and he didn't have an opening available soon enough. Alee came in to diagnose our problem​ and worked really hard to find it but he did not charge us (even though we wanted to pay him for all the work he put in) since he could not fix our issue. Very friendly, prompt, professional, respectful and put everything back the way he found it.

This company will not even bother to return a call. They must really  think so much of themselves that they don't need the work. They just lost out on an entire house rewire. Lots of money. Not in their bank.

I had only lived in my new home a few months when all electrical power was lost on my top floor and the smoke alarms wouldn't stop going off. Randy responded right away, when four other companies had told me they weren't taking any new customers. It turned out to be a rather complicated issue requiring a considerable amount of investigation and problem solving. Randy was thorough, tenacious and fixed all the issues. Randy is who I'll be calling for any future electrical needs.

So disappointed with their customer service. Had them out to clear a clogged drain which they said they were leaving a thing of bio-clean to use on the drain. We asked if there was an additional charge for the bio-clean and were told that there was not. Paid the $500+ bill, which we thought was too high, and asked for the invoice. We were told the invoice would be sent via email. Sure enough when we received the email the invoice had a charge of $89 for the bio-clean. Called multiple times requesting a refund. Finally received an email back - not a call - that they would not be refunding the price of the bio-clean as they believe that we were informed of the additional cost. There is no way we would have agreed to the cost for something like that. We have used Hunts a few times in the past and we're planning on using them more. After this incident we will not be using their services at all. I would advise others to also rethink using them. Check out the bbb complaints and note that their business practice seems to be to offer refunds after a poor review has been left - as long as the customer removes the complaint and signs a waiver. That right there is a red flag! Think. Check things out. Find another service company to use.

While there were some persistent issues related to communication, the actual work done was adequate, and the person providing the work was pleasant and hardworking. We also found pricing to be fair, based on local comparisons.

Thus, based on this experience, we would probably consider utilizing MD Electrical for future electrical work on our home.

Not sure of their electrical service as I haven't needed that service, however I am sure that at least one of their drivers needs a refresher course in safe driving. I was tailgated this morning heading on I-5 South around 0645 in the far left lane, when I was unable to get over to the next lane due to some semi trucks in that lane. This driver was practicing unsafe driving, being a poor representation of the company he works for and created a great deal of anxiety for me. Be safe out there people, there are people in vans who would love to kiss your bumper doing 60+ miles per hour on the freeway!

Victim of cheap switch rescued by Brennan next day.  Have you ever tried getting ready for work in the dark?  Woke up and the light would not come on in the master bathroom groping in the dark got ready for work first priority of the day get an electrician out to the house ASAP.  I sent out an  the first 3 was booked either they were really booked or the did not want to come out for one switch replacement received fourth response minimum $225 and four weeks out was so desperate even four weeks sounded better than none so made appointment and added to waiting list in case someone cancelled  then I tried one more and found Brennan Electric schedule appointment for next day for $155 trip fee (a difference of $70 savings) The technician was there on time completed the job within minutes-hooray thank you Brennan Electric
