We needed some electrical work in our condo and I liked the idea of hiring a veteran so I went with Veterans Electric. So glad I did! They just finished up and did a great job! The condo is old, in a historic building, with small, awkward spaces to squeeze into, and kind of weird old electrical stuff. Anyway, the electrician had a great solution for us and did the work quickly, carefully and thoughtfully. Good price and very polite too! I also appreciated the communication with the front office. Made an appointment, he was in time, called and checked in first, etc. I am so appreciated the good Covid protocol - masked up, took care of details from a safe distance. I highly recommend Veterans Electric!

Fabulous. A local contractor recommended this company, and when I had an electrical issue, I called them at 8 a.m., and by 9 they were on site. By 10, the problem (which was not straightforward) was solved. It doesn't get better than this. Highly recommended!

I contacted quite a few places online to install the Tesla Wall Connector (using the list recommended by Tesla). They responded to my inquiry in 2 hours on a Sunday and gave the best prices while others took days to respond.  The electrician Jake was very nice and patient.  I observed him the whole time and he answered many questions about the charger and the panel and even general questions about electric work.  It took him about an hour and he set everything up for me.  2 other places I contacted somehow asked me for the picture of the main panel because they thought my panel was a sub-panel. I had to research online and told them it was a split-bus panel and pointed out to them where the main switch was.  Another place quoted me with 50A breaker instead of 60A because they didn't have it in stock. Anyway, Northwest Electric & Solar didn't have any questions for me and everything was easy and smooth. No sales tax in WA for installing an EV charger right now and they didn't need me to sign any form for this.  Our friends used them for the solar panel and recommended them to us.  I definitely recommend NW Electric and Solar for your EV charter installation!

We have used Sunset Electric for pretty much all our electrical needs since 2012. We used one other vendor and they did great work for us as well.  However, I will say the majority of our electrical work (98% of our jobs) we have returned to Gavin's team time and time again.  They have done so much work for us over the years in 2 separate homes. Installing new light fixtures inside and out, putting garage electrical behind walls, installing and hanging chandeliers, new electrical, other upgrades and most recently a stand by generator. His teams are always on time, professional, respectful and I feel they ALWAYS go above and beyond. Some of his crew worked on our former home in 2012 and were back to work in our new home as late as this year.  We love that we recognize their staff and they're not just experienced but they all share the same customer focus.  Gavin and his entire crew (all of them) are FANTASTIC! Gavin responds quickly, he gets his team on jobs and provides estimates and appointments promptly.  When we lost power and had an issue with our generator,  I emailed him before office hours thinking he'll get it when he's.  He called me within 15 minutes at most and got his team to my house to assist with our generator and within an hour it was up and running again. He then called to follow up shortly after.  He is always very responsive and helpful via email or phone.  I can not say enough good about Sunset Electric and obviously with their level of service and skill we are loyal customers for life.  I had family in the trades but most are retired and out of state.  They're all good guys, honest, reliable, do the right thing, always making the customer feel valued and it's great to know that is how Gavin and his crew are. There is a great comfort with being treated this way.  We highly recommend them for so many reasons!

Eddie is the most punctual, practical and caring professional I've met. We had Eddie do the home theatre wiring and he did a PHENOMENAL and THOROUGH job. He adds value, thinks about the problem holistically and delivers QUALITY work.

SEQUENCE:
Before the job: Initial video call with estimate --- Clarifications via SMS --- Fix a date and time for the work.

Day of the job: Shows up on time, does a thorough inspection and discussion of the work items, goes out and purchases what's required.  --- Does not rush through the job, completes everything --- Goes above and beyond to ensure completeness --- Minimal cuts in drywall to hold electrical receptacles --- Thorough cleanup of area.

After the job: Follows up with a phone call after electrical inspection is complete.

That's 10/10 for customer service.

I should have paid closer attention to the negative reviews here on Yelp.  One of my neighbors had recommended this company for an outlet installation, so I went ahead and setup an appointment for yesterday morning, even though I saw the many ghosting reviews on Yelp.  Owner/electrician Derek never bothered showing up.  I sent several texts and called him several times, but received absolutely no response.  I wasted my time yesterday as well as the last month since the appointment was made close to a month ago and I could've found another electrician in the meantime.

The only positive was the scheduling coordinator/assistant Monica.  She was cordial and responsive through her e-mails, but she doesn't make up for the lack of professionalism of the owner.  I would stay away from this company if you value your time.

Despite having high hopes for Luke Electric when speaking with them during my home buying process, the actual experience of attempting to schedule them to do work was highly disappointing.

I called four weeks in advance to schedule a mid-November appointment to come out and give a bid for some knob-and-tube upgrades.  The scheduler was friendly, and we arranged a time on a Monday.  Fast forward a month, and that Monday appointment comes and goes.  I call them, and the scheduler says there is no record of the appointment on their calendar.  But she manages to have Luke come out later that day.  No big deal, scheduling snafus happen.  Since he missed my original morning appointment, I had my parents meet him the afternoon he came out, as I had work commitments.  They told me he kept asking how I was going to pay for the work - inquiring what I did for a living, and asking if they would be the ones to help me pay for it.  Perhaps he assumed that a woman would be incapable of paying him on her own?  Not sure, but his line of questioning was pretty inappropriate regardless.

After the appointment, Luke says he will give a bid in 24-48 hours, and will provide a range of bids for different levels of work being done (this is why I chose to have them come out in the first place; I like having options).  I hadn't heard anything after 72 hours so I sent an email.  Got no reply.  1 week later I called.  The receptionist said she'd contact Luke and would get back to me in the afternoon at the latest.  Again, no reply.  Now it's been weeks since the original visit, and I haven't had any of my calls or e-mails returned.  If you don't want the business, fine, but at least give me the courtesy of a reply.

I have no idea why it should be so hard to give someone my business, especially something that's likely to cost several thousand dollars.  Ultimately I have no idea why they blew me off, but in case anyone from Luke Electric ever reads this, I'd suggest 1. not blowing off customers who are trying to pay for your services, and 2. not asking probing questions about their ability to pay - I wouldn't be soliciting bids if I were incapable of paying the bill!

We had a pressure reduction valve replaced by James at Beacon.  He was quick, professional and courteous.   We will use Beacon again should the need arise.

Highly recommend Advance Septic! Same day service was a plus... Dillon was awesome and friendly. In and out in 20 minutes. Will definitely use again for all of our septic services.

The installation does take sometime. However, once you understand the structure through the instruction, it goes smoothly. Once it is installed, it is simply amazing!

Their customer service are pretty responsive if you have any question, whether it is through phone or email. Their phone representatives is well trained and super help for any general questions. If they are with other customers when you called , they will get get back to you quickly, normally within the same day even you did not leave a voice mail.

Overall we were happy with both the sale and installation process. We had a somewhat major problem arise when the installers were placing a part of the furnace into the wall of the garage and they hit a water pipe with a nail. Now there was no way for them to know a water pipe was running behind the wall and upon learning they hit the water pipe they immediately turned off the water. They fixed the water pipe which meant opening up the wall. After fixing the water pipe they properly patched the wall. What could have been a huge disaster was quickly addressed. Outside of that issue we were very happy with our experience.
