Best Electricians in Seattle, WA

Igor from Red Line completed his work at our condominium building replacing 140 plus wall scones and ceiling can lights. The hallways are a lot more modern looking and so much brighter now. Igor and Jessica also left some additional leftover parts for the new lobby ceiling can lights for us in case we need them in the future. Both of them are very friendly, professional, and tidy throughout the process! We loved working with them!

First off, it needs to be said that David is a truly quality guy with an amazing heart that always puts your interests at the forefront of everything he does.

He helped me with a quick consult and install in my kitchen/bar area. His advice was spot on, and he was creative in giving the advice around how I could find the best solution. He didn't push me to get another style of light, or tear apart my electrical panels to entirely re-work everything, but rather found that what I already have works great, and there was an easy solution to install lights that I would like better in a quick, easy and inexpensive fashion. He most certainly is not making big bucks off of me, but it's very clear that he is not about that.

David is a true professional, and in anything he does he wants it done right. It's truly about giving you the best service possible, and that's all that matters to him! I would wholeheartedly recommend David to any friends and clients!

I had some minor electric issues and questions.  They were able to come out right away to fix the issue.  Highly recommended.

This company so far is #1 in my book! I live across the country, and my sister who lives in Bellevue called this company (remind you she is not fluent in English), and they were so kind to her and came out to meet her needs in such a short notice. The way they provided the professional service was above and beyond! Thank you, you truly are the company with the Customer Service in mind. My sister wanted to thank you for superior service, and asked me to write this review.

This is a scam, plain and simple.

1) Superficial work to get more money out of you, adding false sense of urgency
2) Will ask for cash
3) Hires day laborers from home depot
4) What even is his name? You'll get conflicting information. Probably none of them are real.
5) Makes excuses for everything
6) Constant mind games

I cannot speak to their work, but I was told I would receive a quote in roughly 48 hours after they looked over my home and it took three weeks to get that quote. The price seems fair and the warranty options aren't the best I've seen (that distinction goes to the company I am accepting the bid from) but they aren't the worst warranty options either. I am not suggesting that anyone not use Vets based on my experience but I want to be sure that they understand that their lack of communication isn't going to reflect well on them and I hope they improve in the future.

I haven't actually had any work done by Kemly Electric... because after Joel Stewart came out to give me an estimate, he emailed me the next day to let me know that he'd contacted Seattle City Light on my behalf to shorten the wires running to our house and get them off our roofline, rather than raising our service mast. SCL did this at no charge within 24 hours. Because our meter location is no longer to code and would have needed to be relocated for this work to be done, Joel and Kemly saved me $4000! (I'd already had 2 other electricians out for estimates and they either hadn't realized or mentioned that our issue could be fixed on the SCL end.) When our house inevitably needs further electrical work, I will not use anyone else.

Scheduling is a nightmare. Once job is half done, they want another month before they're even willing to consider coming back, using all kinds of excuses. By accident one of the electricians send me a message sent for his colleagues and was defeating and denigrating - hardly people you want working in your home.

Justin installed a 14-50 outlet next to my breaker panel quickly and for a reasonable price.  Good communication responsiveness too!

Don't trust them! The guy came to our house and said we needed to change all the ceiling fan rated boxes that didn't needed to be changed at all! We had it already rated for ceiling fans. This sucks because we almost spent $800 for nothing! Be careful!!

As an interior designer I know how I like and want things done and Billy the electrician was the best. He was ready to work by showing up on time and giving me a heads up every step of the way. He also gave me the best estimated price in the area. His customer service skills were phenomenal and he could carry a conversation. I have hired many contractors and electricians in the past who sometimes made things awkward. Having Billy work on my lights was like having a friend over to help me out. He will definitely be getting more work from me down the line and I highly recommend him and his company to anyone seeking electrical work.

These guys did an awesome job for me. Fast, efficient and per the book. Conscientious beyond anything I've ever encountered in a private contractor. I'd recommend them to anybody needing electrical work.

The Electric Company of Seattle was friendly, fast, and efficient. Daniel who provided the service was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely use them again in the future.

I've known Wyatt for many years. Since high school . He's Honest, Trustable, very dependable , has very reasonable prices , does great work, And gets my praise. I've had issues that were resolved with in an hour of calling him too. He is always my first choice when I need something done or when my friends need something done I refer them to the best electrician I know..

I have learned over the years that electricity was something best left to the experts, Seth was my first call--and my only call. I had planned to get bids from several electricians, but once I talked to  Seth at SMC Electric, I stopped searching. Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, he was also extremely professional. Seth was very upfront with project costs and time, and had everything done well ahead of what was promised. Seth even answered all my questions while he was working. It's really rare to find his level of work ethic these days. Thank you for your help Seth from SMC Electric!

Brian was able to fit us in during an unexpected opening in his schedule. He arrived promptly and fixed the problem easily. He is a very nice man, his charges are reasonable, and he knows what he is doing. I am thrilled to have found a great local electrician.

Came when he said, knew what he was doing, got it done promptly, and charged reasonably. Can't ask for more.

Chad was wonderful. Had electrical issues with a thermostat. Chad was able to walk me through the various things he did. Explaining why every step of the way. Fast, courteous, and very helpful. Will definatley call Chad with any additional electrical needs I have. It's not often these days to find someone who genuinely wants to help, not just make a buck. Peace of mind was worth the money.

One day the lights in my living room went out. My husband had done some work as an electrician in the past but couldn't figure it out. We were waiting on a friend who is an electrician to look at it when he had free time. It didn't matter to us when he came because the sun kept our living room bright until around 9.
   Then suddenly one day all of the power in our house went out. I thought for sure it was just our house because the only neighbor I could see still had power and we had the previous electrical problem. My husband called south sound electric. They asked him if the power was out for the whole neighborhood and he told them he didn't think so because our neighbor had power. Well it turned out that my neighbor had power because he was using a generator! The electricians stood at my door and told me they were just at someone else's house who also didn't have power. So they sent us a bill for $103 for doing literally NOTHING. They could have called when they found out it was the whole neighborhood but they didn't. When I called to dispute the bill the secretary was very hostile and even laughed at me. Do not use these guys, even if you're desperate!
