Just had Jayhawk replace a main sewer line leaving my house after the previous plumber botched the job.  Jayhawk has an excellent staff.  I am definitely going to be calling him for all my future plumbing needs.  I am very particular when it comes to people working on my house, and they met and exceeded that.  Definitely give them a try over some of these big names in town.

Butch from Plumbco was awesome!  He called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. I I requested an estimate before he started. He gave me a reasonable estimate and explained what the job required. He was efficient and did a very professional job. I'm impressed with Plumbco and will use them again if I need a plumber.

Same day service where two others were not available. Quickly repaired leak. Timely, courteous, knowledge. Gave options for repair with different costs. Gave personal recommendations with rationale of recommendation. Very pleased with service.

Had a issue with our master toilet that originally wasn't installed properly.  Superior access the piping from the basement and solved the issue without I having to tear out the tile floor or subfloor.  The solution was not a everyday issue and believe most plumbers wouldn't have gone to the trouble.  Employees were polite and listen and seem to like their jobs.

I PAID WESLEY $2,218 and he DID NOT FIX MY PLUMBING ISSUE!

PLUMBING PROBLEM:
Everything from the bathrooms flooded the basement when I used the washing machine. I called Emergency Drain Cleaning at 7:00 AM, reached Wesley, and he responded promptly to my request for service.

DESCRIPTION OF EVENTS:

March 10, 2023 - Wesley and his apprentice reported to the house and spent over one hour assessing the plumbing issue. After that hour, Wesley reported to me that he tried to clean out the pipe but was not able to. Then he told me that he has a sewer camera and would use it to see what the problem was and what they needed to do to clean it.

Another hour passed, and he told me he was confident it was a root issue. He didn't see any waste or anything else, but it looked like a lot of mud.

They have an hourly rate. So Wesley and his apprentice literally fixed nothing in the 2 hours they were at my house, but I paid them $458.00!!!!

He then informed me that he was sure he'd have to get the roots out of the system. He estimated that the issue was about 10 feet deep. He then said that he would pay for the pipes, but he had a buddy from whom we could get an excavator. The problem was I'd have to pay to rent that excavator. It was $458.88. Coincidence? Hustle?

Wesley told me that he would call his buddy to find out when the excavator would be available, then based on that availability, he would schedule a time to come to the house to fix the plumbing issue.

Superior Rents dropped off the excavator at approximately 3:30 PM on March 10. I called Wesley after I got off work (about 5 PM) to notify him about the excavator and to learn when he planned to come to the house to do the project. He did not respond to my phone call, which seems to be a pattern.

WHY IS YOUR COMPANY CALLED EMERGENCY DRAIN CLEANING IF YOU DO NOT ANSWER CALLS OR TEXT MESSAGES AFTER HOURS (THAT IS PAST 5 PM)?!!! YOUR BUSINESS NAME IS MISLEADING - DECEPTIVE!

So, for the 2 hours of work Wesley and his apprentice did, where they reportedly diagnosed the situation, I was charged $458. He told me he could fix the root issue, and that he would pay for the piping, but I would have to rent the excavator. He also required a $750 deposit for the work. So, on March 10, 2023, I paid $1468 FOR A PROBLEM THAT WAS NOT RESOLVED AND A DEPOSIT IN THE HOPES THAT IT WOULD BE RESOLVED SOON.
Today, March 11, 2023, I called and texted Wesley multiple times to learn when he was coming to do the job. He neither answered my calls or responded to my voicemails or text messages. I was getting angry. He seemed to have taken my money and run. Then I called my tenant and learned that Wesley and his apprentice arrived at 7:50 AM. They had been digging for a while. So, I reported to the house around 11 AM to check on the work and stayed until they finally left.

Fast-forward: Wesley and his apprentice dug a massive hole in my backyard and installed the plastic piping. They only got 10 feet of piping and informed me the issue was much deeper than they thought. It took them just over 8 hours to DIG A MASSIVE HOLE IN MY BACKYARD, LAY DOWN PIPE, AND DESTROY MY FENCE, ONLY FOR THE PROBLEM TO BE EXACTLY LIKE IT WAS WHEN I CALLED THEM...ONLY NOW I HAVE A BROKEN FENCE BECAUSE THEY BROKE IT WITH THE EXCAVATOR.

Then Wesley took the keys to the $458 excavator that I HAD TO RENT WITH MY OWN MONEY BECAUSE WESLEY DOES NOT HAVE THE EQUIPMENT, and when I called and texted him to inform him to return the keys ASAP, he neither acknowledged receiving my text or answered the phone.

I PAID WESLEY $2,218 and he DID NOT FIX MY PLUMBING ISSUE!

He dug a massive hole in my backyard. He ruined my fence. He does not respond to phone calls, voicemails, or text messages. And HE DOES NOT KNOW how to fix issues with roots. He does not have the equipment to fix such issues, and when he seemingly came to terms with the project falling outside his scope of practice, he informed me that he has another buddy - that is supposedly a plumber - who could probably fix the issue for me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!

I do NOT recommend this company. I cannot say whether he knows how to do basic sewer cleaning or not. He didn't do anything to help. I have never been so frustrated, angry, and disappointed with service.

MATH: $2,218 to Wesley at Emergency Drain Cleaning + $458.88 to Superior Rents to rent an excavator that Wesley does not have, apparently.

TOTAL I WAS ROBBED OF $2,676.88 FOR A JOB THAT WAS NOT DONE. ANGER AND FRUSTRATION DOES NOT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW!

Very dissatisfied with this company.  Work was not completed & had to continuously call for them to come & finish work.  If you are in need of a Master Plumber this is not the company for you.  We had to finish the work ourselves.  Slow, inadequate work, & pricey.  If you look in the yellow pages look beyond the letter D.

we filed a claim with our warranty company on a Sunday, a week ago now. we got scheduled with The Air Guy Kansas who set our appointment time for 5 days later in the middle of June and 100 degree heat. I contacted them on Monday of this week and they said they could potentially come on Wednesday rather than Friday. I had heard nothing from them since then and was unable to contact them using any one of their 3 phone numbers to get any updates throughout the week, leaving voicemails and texts. then, they don't show up during their appointment time frame we were given on Friday. no call, no show. didn't even show up late from just running behind. I absolutely do not recommend this company unless you're cool with a lack of communication and don't want your AC system back up and running.
