Quick and effective service of my shower after another plumber couldn't fix it. The technician was polite and came when he said he would come.

I scheduled an appointment to have an estimate done on a total re-pipe hot and cold water of my house. This is a huge job. The teck showed up on time didn't even bother to go in the house- he  spent literally five minutes on the property -asked for my email address and said he would send the quote. Ridiculous.
He never sent the quote. I know for a fact this is a $10,000 job that they missed out on. I wanted to go local but they did not respond or even investigate how to re-pipe this particular property.
Run away from these people they are terrible. No follow up -can you imagine what it would be if you actually hired them?

Showed up to inspect a water leak I had. An honest tradesman, and wasn't pushy. Prices were reasonable. In comparison, other larger companies wanted to charge 400$ just to come out and look at the leak. JK plumbing came out, inspected, and gave recommendations on what I should do. Decided to follow through with his advice. He even fixed small plumbing related things without nickel and diming me. Great guy, would recommend to anyone.

DO NOT hire this company.  Their customer service is terrible and their plumbers are unprofessional.  I called them to have someone come out and fix a broken toilet, and it took me a week to actually get an appointment scheduled.  I called every day and was told that someone would call me the following day to schedule an appointment.  No one ever called, and every time I called back it was as if they had never received a call from me at all.  The only reason I did not call another company right away was that they had previously done work for me with no issues.  Once I finally got a plumber (Joe C.) to come out, he was an hour late (and they give a four hour time window in the first place).  He looked at the toilet and quoted me two different prices based on if anything was broken after the toilet was pulled that he could not see.  Both prices seemed kind of high, but I wanted it fixed and he was kind of pushy. I initially told him to go ahead, but realized I was getting pushed around by the guy on a quote that seemed too high.  Within two minutes of telling him to go ahead, I confirmed with him that nothing had been done yet and I asked him to not proceed because his quote seemed too high.  He acknowledged my comment but then proceeded to pull the toilet off the seal (something he would have to charge for). I told him I had asked him to stop and he told me Well I'm going to have to charge you for that.  I told him I was calling the company and he tried to storm off without putting the toilet back.  Again this is something he did AFTER I told him to stop.  When I called the company, the person answering the phone responded with Ugh, did he mess something up when I told her who was sent for the plumbing job.  Clearly this is a plumber they have problems with a lot.  I was told a manager (Justin) would call to discuss this.  He NEVER called.  I called back several times and finally the phone was given to someone who was able to speak with me about the issue.  He apologized that the toilet was pulled after I asked the plumber to stop and said I would not be charged.  Two weeks later, I received a bill in the mail.  I called to dispute and they did not charge me, but they were extremely rude about it.  I was absolutely appalled at all levels of this interaction.  From not being able to get a call back, to having a rude, pushy plumber who did not stop the job when I told him to (before he started), to having management be rude by not calling to resolve the issue and acting as though it was the customer's (my) fault. People in my neighborhood use to use Alvarez almost exclusively, but I have only seen one of their trucks in the past year there.  Now I know why.  I called another company the next day and they got someone out to my house the very next day and fixed the toilet for $155 cheaper.

Called this guy up at 830am, he answered sounding barely awake and then unfortunately the line dropped.  When I called him back he was rude and hung up on me.  Called Billy the Sunshine Plumber and they answered much more professionally and made an appointment for the afternoon.

Michael was courteous, explained things well, gave an accurate estimate, and did a good job with both the plumbing and helping with the peripheral work as needed.  It was a great relief to have someone available on a Saturday afternoon after several places I located on Angie's list were unavailable.

Came out quickly even though I said it wasn't an emergency.  Had a leak in the kitchen as well as a  slow drain. It wasn't clear where the leak was coming from.   They took great care to not damage my pipes (as they are original) and called in his boss to make sure they could solve the problem without taking more aggressive measures.  They solved the problem quickly. A few months ago, I did have Leland replace my water heater in an emergency situation.  They were the first available (never heard of them before)  and did a good job.  After the fact, I checked their all-in pricing with competitors, and Leland's pricing was more than fair even though it was not itemized (you can't compare prices of water heaters on the web - I did that).  All the people (including the front office) seem to love what they do and do it with pride.  

I would recommend them to anyone (for price as well as quality of work).

They knew what to do and were efficient! They came in a timely manner and fixed the problem.

Needed emergency toilet help in the middle of the night and they refused because they needed the landlords consent to unclog a toilet - wtf

No show for a job quoted and set up in advance -  called at last minute on day of service that was scheduled and cancelled.

Joel set up an appointment for 3:30 Tues, Aug 8...didn't show...didn't call...didn't reply to my texts or calls for 2 days...so I thought this might have been some kind of a lame joke...COLON PLUMBING...please help me out
