Quick response, and was able to fix my toilet immediately. He needed an extra part so he ran over to Home Depot and was able to finish everything quickly. Would definitely hire again, very reasonable price compared to others.

Incredible service! Had a serious issue with plant roots growing cracking and going through my homes plumbing under the house, causing the showers and toilets to backup. One company told us we had to break ground and rip up all the marble in one bedroom in order to fix it. Called 3 companies before Epoca FINALLY figured it out for us. They got to the root of the problem and resolved it so quickly! And while they were at it, I had them redo the only outdated bathroom in our house. Such a beautiful job! Speedy service, honest prices, and great workers!

Called Mike after being frustrated with the recommended nearby plumbers who didn't even bother to show up and left me hanging the entire day waiting for them. Speaking to Mike and sending him pictures of the toilet, he told me that there wasn't even a need for a water shutdown - something that the other plumbers insisted on - and that he could get the toilet installed for me the next day. Mike arrived on time and installed the smart toilet within a couple of hours. If you're not from Miami and expect a certain kind of professionalism, Mike is your man: he knows what he's doing. 5 stars.

What an AWESOME group of people, professional, expedient an thorough.
They spent the entire day (literally 26 hours strait) fixing the main water line damaged by a careless driver who's auto was more powerful than he could control.
They were fast at addressing the work and getting right on the repair to get the water back on to the property.

From start to finish, AWESOME!  Kevin and his team are extremely professional, polite, and meticulously detailed.  Very responsive, they were the only ones to swing by, video my lines, and explain in detail the issues and the plan to solve them.  Kevin was patient, never rushed, and answered every question.  Very rare now days.  I chose to line my entire sewer line, zero regrets.   They did not take any short cuts or rush getting it done right.  Because of all of the rock around my house, they spent more than 2 full days digging the trench, de scaling the lines, and installing the clean out pipe.  While they had to remove a plant, they were very careful to take the root system and temporarily plan it elsewhere to save it.  When they were done, they cleaned up everything and returned the plant.  Kevin's team also took care of a couple growing issues with my older toilets.  The toilets are now water tight and secure.  This is a local family business.  I totally trust Kevin and his team, very honorable guys.  Already have recommended them to my friends and neighbors.

While I am reluctant to write this review, I feel I've got to put it out there. I am a landlord who lives out of state. My tenant called to tell me there was a leak, & she thinks it's from the water heater.

Gobie Plumbing had done some work for me years ago (about 2003), & I thought they were fair, so I gave my tenant their number, as well as the serial number of the water heater.

Later, my tenant calls me. She said the plumber was there for 5 minutes, said it's not the water heater & left her with a $150 bill.

So I called & spoke to Mr. Gobie himself. He says, based on what the tenant told him, he went & picked up a replacement water heater..which, as it turns out, we didn't need. So he is charging me for the time it took for him to drive in traffic, wait in line, pick up that equipment...and now, return it.

Yes, he feels he should charge me for that time he took **before he even visited the apartment** and diagnosed what the problem was.

Now, I would have no problem paying for him going to the apartment, & seeing it wasn't the heater. I'm guessing that would be ~$100. But my problem is that he went on what the tenant told him - sure, he thought he was being proactive, but come on - and now he is charging me for the mistake he made.

I don't think this is fair. But, in any case...I paid the $150.  I have a soft spot in my heart for old-school plumbers who have been in business for 30+ years in Miami.

So, why the 3 stars? Because I DO appreciate Mr. Gobie's honesty, that he did not just go ahead & replace the water heater,  which would've been a lot more. And I'm sure other plumbers would've done just that. I think fair plumbers are few and far between.

Excellent service! I called late on a Friday night and the staff immediately got me in touch with John. He was very courteous and quickly fixed the problem. This is the first time I called Grable and plan to use them from now on.

Called them at 9 am for a clogged toilet and they were here by 10:30.  This is the second time I called them and they are great.  The price was reasonable.  The best thing I can say about them is that I will continue to call them in the future.

I had a main line from the county leaking into my soil and turning it into a mud pit.  I made the repairs myself, but when the water was turned on I found a new problem, a coupling further down line that had never been glued and broke.  After 2 days of sweating I called and Tim who hooked me up with his technician Stacey.  Showed up within a few hours.  He was honest and said that my prior work looked great and I could complete the job myself.  Being wore out, I had him complete the work.  Thirty minutes the job was done and I paid a reasonable price.  Great experience,  I would use them again in a second.

They came out and gave a quote, did the job, and then proceeded to send a bill for 2.5 times the agreed amount, even though the job took less than an hour and there were no problems.

They are so disorganized that it took months to get even them on the phone and figure out what happened, and then they made so many conflicting excuses that I still don't know how they justify themselves. They seem to have tried to charge $100 just to give the quote, which took ten minutes, (and then did not include this amount in the quote!), and they also rounded up on their time like you can't believe.

It's hard to believe a business could operate being this disorganized. I spoke to 4-5 people over the last months who always promised to do something and then never called again. They often don't answer their phones during business hours (or else hang up on you when you're on hold). They actually stood me up the original day of the job; they just forgot and didn't show. I had to wait another week. Besides that, the plumber was really unprofessional. He left a huge mess, and he spent at least half the job not working but complaining about everyone who had ever screwed him over in his life.

I think their problems are a mix of incompetence (I heard they recently switched ownership and they admit they've had various technical problems for months) and actual dishonesty, which is the real crime, by significantly rounding up their hours, adding hidden fees, and then refusing to take responsibility.

Just keep in mind, don't trust their quotes. They feel free to bill whatever they want. I think it's unethical and, frankly, thievery.

The customer service, timing, professionalism, and knowledge was simply outstanding.  Completed repairs in a timely fashion and took the time to show me all aspects of the repair.  The tech also fixed a running toilet that was costing money.  Plumbing Technician Hermes Castellano  is a credit to your company.  You are now our family plumber.

Allright, let the games begin! Our heat pump didn't sound that happy during the last cold spell, and I decided to invite a few bids to replace our gear with a high efficiency system (motivated by the gov't tax credit etc...). I called Scott's services (who call themselves the Prince of Plumbing-a suitable title for the minivan ridden exurbs they serve). Anyway, the prince of plumbing showed on time, pulled out his well-worn and dirty shoe covers, and met my wife. He spent about 5 minutes looking at our old set-up. Then he wrote down three numbers on a pad and showed them to my wife. The first number: $27,000 (new heat pump and new ducts-never mind that he never looked at our ducts etc...). Then, second number: $13,000-premium heat pump with variable speed air handler...of course 5 tons, one more than we have-they call this practice 'upsizing' in the 'biz....o.k. all suckered already? No here comes the third one: $9,000-the standard system. considering the $1,500 tax credit and the TECO rebate-a steal!!! Wow...my wife then asked him to leave a written bid with her, so the hubby might look at it and make an informed decision. No, the prince says: I will not do this-the competition might see my incredible discounts and match them...well, the wife says: how about a Schedule J load calculation at least? will you attempt to do this, as a true prince of plumbing would? The prince replies: Well, we only do that once you sign a contract with us! If you want it now, you would have to pay for it! At that point, the wife decided it was time for the prince to leave, and rightly so! An amazing business style! Stay away from these scoundrels! At all cost!

This company has a large contact w my HOA. They say if they damage property they will fix/replace. They do not to say the least. They have many unskilled laborers that they leave alone to do work they are contracted/paid to do as a Professional skilled/licensed Plumbers. I was told they are not skilled or licensed by the Lead person from the company but they are paid the licensed fee. That same Lead stated my damages should be charged to their paychecks as they damage often many things . I witnessed my damages and ask the unskilled Labor to please not do that again. The pretended not to hear/understand & did the same once more. This caused unrepairable damage to my storage shed. The Lead & his assistant also shared many personal pictures & comments/text with me bordering on sexual harassment. The picture on the website are not the crew that comes to service a community of 400+ homes in S Tampa. The Owner came to view my damages I was told would be taken care of. He attempted to restore my Craftsman storage shed damaged by the Unskilled Labor. He did not have proper tools & stripped my hardware by using what he had. I am now addressing this damage with my HOA. I saw the Lead today that once told me that I would be taken care of, & he was very angry with me and instructed me nothing will be done to rectify the damage. I put a picture on this review of the company they have a TB buccaneer on their autos.. I don't think the Bucs would be happy at the reference with the care or professionalism of this Plumbing Company.
