One of our original dusk to dawn coach lights had to be replaced and we thought it would be prudent to replace the other plus our front porch light since they came with the house and have acquired some age. went with some we liked but, more importantly, we're opened at the bottom for easy access to change a bulb (plus dead insects can fall out the bottom.
Many thanks to the two great, patient, knowledgeable and courteous electricians from Frye Electric!

Jeff and Lee from Frye Electric came out within two hours of my Thursday morning call -- not just same day service but under 90 minute service in my case -- and did a swimming pool pump power switch repair in 30 minutes. I am extremely happy with their work, which was both friendly and professional, and with Frye for amazingly quick response at an incredibly reasonable price. I will be a repeat customer.

On February 17, 2022, Frye Electric completed a project for us at our home.  A few days before, Greg came by to assess my needs.  Some time ago, we had Frye install an electric heater in our garage (very good job), but we tapped an unused dryer circuit (spare laundry room not in use), rather than run a new circuit (which I believed would entail cutting existing drywall in both the lower level, as well as in a bedroom on the main level of our home).

For this job, I wanted to run the new circuit to the heater and put the dryer circuit back together.  Greg understood my concerns about having to cut existing drywall in order to fish the new circuit from the lower level of the house all the way up to the attic to the garage heater.  He scoped it out saying he could run the wire via my workshop to the electrical panel and using an existing conduit we had between the workshop and the attic.  He then provided an estimate for the project.  Two electricians (Javier & Ismael) arrived on time and were able to "fish" the new circuit wire from my workshop, through "can" lights in our Exercise Room, over to the breaker panel, and then run the wire up from the workshop via a conduit we had up to the attic (close to the heater).  They completed the job without cutting drywall.  It was a very neat job and now the dryer circuit is back to normal and a proper new circuit feeds the garage heater.  They did excellent work and cleaned up after the job.  This solution for the new circuit exceeded my expectations.  I would recommend Frye Electric for any small to large electrical project.

We have a swimming pool in our backyard and an elaborate deck with electrical issues.
I tried to straighten out and it just got worse. I told Mike, I need a troubleshooter. Mike told me "it will be next Thursday before he is available but worth the wait."
He was right, Christopher called and then arrived on time. I told him what I had done, then corrected the problem fast.
He could not have done a better job.
This winter they are going to do some interior work in our house.

I recently decided to rearrange my laundry room which required the relocation of the dryer 220 volt outlet. I received  one quote of $600 from another electric company. I decided to call Frye electric and was quoted $321 and they were able to do it  the same week.  All I can say is if you need electrical work done call Frye. They moved the outlet for  about half the cost and the technicians made suggestions that made the dryer relocation look much better with no extra drywall work. In the future I will only use Frye Electric!

I hired Frye to track down the problem in a dead circuit. They found the problem quickly and fixed it for a very fair price. I will not hesitate to use them for all electrical issues in the future.

Frye Electric serviced a possible bad outlet and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. They also determined some other issues that could have posed a serious risk. Their prices are very reasonable!! If I have further electric service needs, I'll definitely use them again.

I called this company for what I thought was a simple  issue. Two outlets were not working in my rental home. An electrician arrived and tested both and said they were both working and everything was fine. He left and charged me over 100. Obviously there was an issue if the outlets only worked intermittently. So the next day when they did not work again I had to call them again and the same technician came out and finally fixed the issue and again charged me over 100. I didn't think it was fair to be charged twice for what should have been fixed the first time but just paid it.
The second problem I had was making the payment for the second day. I was leaving that afternoon for a week outside the country and asked the technician if the office could call me that afternoon for a cc number. No one called but while I was overseas I was called a number of times for payment. I was left a very rude voicemail insinuating that I was purposely avoiding her calls. The office rep went so far as calling my tenant which I was very very unhappy about. Additionally, what was so  ironic is that when I returned a week later I called the office and was told my payments were up to date!

This company was so badly organized and so  customer inconsiderate I would never use them again nor would I recommend them.

My previous negative review for this company has mysteriously disappeared, but because everyone involved was so unprofessional I am re-writing it.  I called for an ESTIMATE to have a security light installed.  Two men show up and say they were there to INSTALL a security light.  (This should have been my 1st clue) I didn't have the materials since they were only there to give me an estimate, but they said they would wait if I wanted to go purchase the items.  I thought that was great.  They would only have to make one trip, and I would have my light installed sooner than expected.  I live less than 5 minutes from both a Lowes Home Improvement and a Home Depot, so I drove to the nearest store and selected a light fixture, bulbs, paid for them, and was in my car pulling out of the parking lot all within a few minutes.  The electricians call to say that they could not wait more than 15 minutes, and they had to go to lunch and would be back in an hour.  When I got home, the round trip - including  purchasing the items, took 19 minutes.  If I had known that up front, I would have scheduled the installation on a different date.

They returned from lunch, inspected the light fixture, and told me in a rather harsh tone that I had the wrong bulbs.  The information on the security light said that it needed the exact bulbs I purchased.  I showed him the required bulb description for the fixture and the PAR identification on the bulbs were identical. (This should have been my 2nd clue)  They installed the motion-sensor light, and asked if I wanted a continuous dusk-to-dawn setting, or for the light to come on for a pre-determined time when movement was detected.  I chose the latter option.  That evening, the light came on and stayed on all night.  I phoned the company and when the installers come back and took a look at the light the same guy that said I had bought the wrong bulbs got all huffy and said that the fixture was defective.  I would have to take it back to the store for a refund or replacement, and they (the company) were not responsible for my defective equipment.  AND I would have to pay for a service call to have them take out the fixture and replace it with a new one.  I said the light might not be defective since it did turn on the previous night, and asked them to check the setting on the fixture. He asked me for the instruction sheet that came with the light, read it and climbed up the ladder and pushed a switch.  There was nothing wrong with the light, he had failed to turn it to the proper setting. (I thought this was my 3rd and final clue, but the best was yet to come)

That day I wrote a letter to Frye Electric detailing everything that had happened, and a few days later I received a phone call from Hal Frye, the company owner.  His first few words were "Well, I just got your love letter..." That is not the way to begin a conversation with a frustrated customer.  The first words out of his mouth should have been "Sorry for the inconvenience"  but he was so angry, belligerent, and unprofessional that I told him I would never use his company again, or recommend them. Then he changed his tune and offered to have his workers return and install the same type of light on the other side of my house - at no additional charge.  I said "No, thank you." and hung up the phone.

Last year Frye Electric replaced my electrical box, they charged a fair price and did good work.
Yesterday  two lights went out in my closet and bathroom. I called them this morning and told them that I had flipped all of the breakers and that didn't work.
Two techs came out and pushed a button on my GFCI outlet which fixed the problem.  They were in my house no more than 5 minutes and the bill was $127.
I thought this was outrageous and really the fix could have been suggested over the phone.  They said they wouldn't have know where the problem was.    Uh, my bathroom...with GFCI outlets?
I called the owner to complain about the price....I mentioned that I was a Realtor and would not be inclined to refer clients to their company.  He lit into me asking me how much I make on my sales....well, I do spend a bit more time with clients.
He asked how much I would be willing to pay.  I said $50....actually I would have been fine with $75.
The owner told me to keep my money and never call there again.
Wow!

I had five electrical outlets, a switch for the disposal, and a ceiling fan I needed to have replaced in my kitchen renovation. I spoke with Mike at Frye Electric over the phone to set up a time for his repair men to come out. Chad and Eric came out on time as scheduled.  Both were very polite and professional. I was in my living room doing some paperwork while they got started.  Before no time they were done! Ceiling fan was in place, working. Receptacles were changed out, working just fine. They cleaned up and was finished in just a little over an hour. The price was fair for the job that was done. I will tell my friends when they have a electrical issue in their homes, Frye Electric is a very good company to use. I will definitely use their services in the future. Great job guys!

I have used Frye for many years. Lately I their pricing has really sky-rocketed. The commercials that the owner Hal Frye is on, is not true "fake advertising. They are not cheaper. Yesterday I had the chance to speak to Hal because his normal scheduler Mike had already left to go home. Hal was extreme rude to me for know reason and told me if I wasn't happy I should just call someone else. I had not argued or raised my voice about the conversation we were having. I am absolutely positive he was speaking to me in such a condescending tone because I was a woman. My husband was in such disbelieve when I told him how he spoke to me that he called him immediately.. Believe Hal not going to call your company again.

Very profession from the quote to the installation. They fully understand customer service and it is greatly appreciated.  The pricing was fair. The two gentlemen took the time to answer questions and taught me a few things too. Will use again.

Had two fellows out this morning. The younger one complained it was too early to work. It was 8:30. The work was completed but he wasn't much help. To tell the truth I'm not impressed. The other ask if I had a coat hanger to drill with. If you knew you needed one why not bring it. I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture. The work is complete but next time I'll use someone else.

Used this company for electrical repairs on a new home. After having an inspection performed I need a few minor electrical repairs performed. Electrician arrived on time, was polite, was honest about what was needed versus what home inspector had reported, provided accurate estimate, and performed the repairs in a very swift manner. I would highly recommend as well as use them again. Thanks Frye!

We hired Frye Electric to install 12 light fixtures in our new construction home. John showed up on time, and was very patient while I changed my mind on the pendant chain lengths a couple of times. The price was stellar. We'll be using them again for sure!

Scheduled an appointment this a.m. regarding the replacement of a fuse box.  Was given a typical window when the electrician would arrive.  Electrician never showed.  Didn't even have the courtesy to call and advise they weren't going to show.  Took time off from work to be there.  Obviously they don't care about the customer so I have no faith that they would do a good job.  Will look for another, more reliable company.

Used Frye to wire/install a new ceiling fan and switch.  Their estimate was reasonable and the quality of work was great.  The electrician was pleasant, timely and cleaned up after himself.  I would definitely use them again.
