After flooding part of our basement, we had a Nation brand company tell us they would need to dig up our basement floor to repair a bow in the sewage pipe. We were referred to Zurn Plumbing Service for a second opinion. Two guys showed up, were very professional, ran their camera into the sewer to check if the first assessment was correct.

Thankfully they found no bow in our sewer pipe so we didn't need to sacrifice our new hardwood floor. Power flush was the recommendation. Saved us about seven thousand dollars.

Call these guys, you won't be sorry.

After trying other plumbers, we decided to try Zurn from the recommendation from our insurance broker. Ted and his team have always been upfront, timely, well priced, professional, and attentive. We've had them do everything from fixing small leaks, replacing hose bibs, up to decommissioning our septic and connecting us to sewer. We will continue to use and recommend Zurn.

Good service - outrageous prices! Would NEVER use them again. There is NO reason to pay these prices - definitely not for basic repairs like they did in my house.
Wanted to support a local business - but it turned out to be a BIG mistake....

I wish I has read the reviews before calling Zurn.  I used them in April 2014.  They were overpriced and tried to sell me something that I did not need in addition to what I did need.  When I questioned the price, they offered a fake coupon, which the plumber just happened to have.  Their work was fine, but I would not call them again.  Their plumber did not seem trustworthy.

Thank goodness I asked for a ballpark estimate! Need to remove a damaged drop-in kitchen sink, and drop-in one exactly like it. Minimum labor involved. Estimate installation (I have the sink) was $850!!! Yes, $850 for maybe 2 hours, or less. Do not bother to even call them

Extremely pleased with the service from Zurn Plumbing. Came on time , installed new efficient toilet in record time. The men were very nice and considerate in keeping my floors clean. Highly recommend this company.

Just had a super problem. We thought the pouring water into our basement was from a leaking foundation. It was a broken pipe.

The first call I made was to Zurn. They came within the hour. A great young man, Charlton, came out, cut out the failing weld and repaired it. What a relief. Call Zurn if your husband is handyman challenged. You won't be sorry.

They charged $550 to replace a new pop-up/drain/pipes under bathroom sink. A technician told me the price difference between brushed nickle pop-up and chrome pop-up would be $100, checked the supply at Lowes less than $50 total. They spent 30-45 minutes for the work, and I felt it was way over priced than others. Will not use this company again.

Had a great customer service experience.  The plumber who came to my home was  punctual and polite.  The  pricing was very fair.  I will definitely call them again.

Garbage Disposal Cap had broken causing leak in basement. Alex and Von were superb. Quickly identified problem ; called for a needed piece of equipment which arrived very quickly.
Job completed, tested, cleaned up and explained everything in term I could understand.

Updating to Full Five Stars.  Zurn's team has helped out with 2 additional plumbing needs since our last review.   First, coming out to repair a sprinkler line leak at our main water line; and a second time coming out and completely redoing our line-out for our dishwater drain line (found once we replaced our old dishwasher with a new model that the original line out needed to be completely redone).  On both counts, Zurn came out and solved the problem.  Glad to have Zurn come out, pay one price and get it fixed right the first time.

Arrived early, quoted a fair price, answered all questions & did a great job in a timely manner.

I have done business with this company for years and they use to be one of the best
in town. Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience with one of their technicians.

Prices were excessive & he would not provide a breakdown of prices he quoted for additional
work he recommended.

When I contacted the office to request another technician, I was told they would not be sending one today. When I requested to speak to the owner or general manager I was told
to call back the next week.  I was surprised at the lack of customer service.

When I related the experience to a friend, they said they had a similar experience.
After years as a loyal customer, I will not be using them in the future.

I recently had Zurn come to my house to replace the water shut off valve and a new flapper, fill valve, and supply tube for a toilet.  I have used Zurn in the past and was happy with the work performed; however,  this time I was charged $413 for less than 30 minutes of their time and am still having issues with the toilet as it continues to run constantly.  I have since called three different plumbers and they estimated that this job should have cost no more than $250.  I also asked Zurn for an itemized invoice and all they sent was the total bill, of $413.  On Amazon all of the parts needed cost a total of $30, so I assume that means their rate for 30 minutes is almost $400.  I do not recommend Zurn and will not be using them in the future.

I called Zurn yesterday and they sent someone out today.  The plumber was on time and professional. He was able diagnose the garbage disposal and repair it instead of just saying it's broke replace it.  Then to top it off, they were very fair with the pricing.

We have received services from Zurn Plumbing on a few occasions since moving to Norcross 2 years ago.  Matt is very professional and thorough.  We had a pipe replaced that was faulty, and installed a Leak Protection System as well.  I highly recommend Zurn Plumbing for your plumbing needs!

These guys are shady business folks!  Had a pool house plumbing project on the books for 4 months with a contract signed.  Emailed us the day before they were supposed to start and said they couldn't do the project!  Turns out, they never even permitted the job which makes me think they never intended do it in the first place!  Got alternative quotes that were actually way cheaper!  Way overpriced and didn't even deliver!!!  Other than delaying my project for 4 wks, happy they didn't end up doing the work.  They were recommended by a trusted source that has now severed ties as a result!  Stay away!

Replaced two water heaters with one tankless.  On time. Good service. Pride of workmanship. Took time to answer all questions.   I certainly recommend them.

Zurn Plumbing came out to fix and complete a plumbing job that was started by another contractor... Zurn got the job done and they were reasonably priced.  I appreciate the expertise and professionalism from the team.  GREAT JOB by the Zurn Team!

just used Zurn for relining my sewage pipe in basement,that runs to my septic tank.We had a couple backups and last plumber who looked into it said the pipe was partially blocked and i might have to jackhammer a new one in.SCARY.Looked into it and Zurn has a separte company that just does relining iron pipes,both indoor and to the street.Ive used Zurn many times before and they always done great.
Matt came out and gave us options.They have a total state of the art lining service,including a robotic tool that cuts the Laterals (the indoor plumbing,sinks,bath, etc) into the new pipe.It was 2 full days,but it went in perefctly.Their guys are very professional,and cleaned up afterwards.Their pricing was right on the average price for this work runs nationally.And now i have a seemless plastic pile that they guarantee for 10 years,and industry says 50 years.BTW it could be used for tree roots blocking sewage pipes to the street as well.No seams no roots.

In 40 years of home ownership, all around the country,I can say without a doubt that Zurn Plumbing is the best plumbing service I have ever had. They are total professionals, show up on time, anticipate problems, are creative with solutions, and are customer oriented.  Mike, who is a master plumber, is truly amazing: provides great advice and cares for the customer.  A truly outstanding plumber.  Obviously, I highly recommend Zurn.

I have used Zurn on several occasions and am very pleased.  Their technicians are experienced, professional, and on time.  They explain the costs upfront and are able to answer my many questions.   I have had a couple of emergency plumbing needs and they responded to my calls withing 15 minutes and had a technician at my house within an hour!  Most recently they replaced my entire sewer line after years of chronic  root problems and ineffective patches and fixes by other plumbers.  It was a big job  but they finished it in the amount  of time they said and stuck with the quoted price.  They even reduced the cost by the amount I paid them for a recent sewer clean out.

Our master bath toilet drain was partially blocked and causing water to back up in the shower and other toilets in the house. We were referred to Zurn Plumbing from a friend's plumber (who was unable to assist us with this issue). Matt and Pete fro Zurn arrived on time and were very cordial and professional. I explained the situation and Matt quickly diagnosed what the issue was and how best to resolve it. He and Pete walked through the work that needed to be completed as well as the cost/time requirements. They got to work and were kind enough to indulge both my interest and many questions throughout the repair process. They finished on time and checked the other toilets to ensure they were functioning properly. Matt also brought some other non-urgent items to my attention based on his knowledge/experiences -- just things to be aware of and to keep an eye on going forward. Extremely positive experience and reasonably priced!!  I couldn't be happier with the results!  Thank you Matt and Pete for an excellent experience. My experience with Zurn started out on a good note on Saturday when I called to report water coming out of the ground. The recorded message said I would hear back from someone in 15 minutes. Much to my surprise, someone called me back in 5 minutes!

Mike, from Zurn said they could not get to me until Monday. I was ok with this as the water coming out of th he ground as a slow stream.

Monday at 8:15am Sterling from Zurn called and asked me for the same information Mike had provided and told me repair truck would be out by 9am. The truck showed up at 9:15am and the two man crew completed replacing a broken 12 piece of polybutylene pipe by 11am.

The bill as presented for $600 broken down $309 for search for leak by digging and $291 for repair leak. I paid the bill by credit card and decided to call the office the next day for a better explanation of the charges. $600 for less than 3 hours of work seemed high to me.

Sterling provided a further breakout of the charges. He said the $309 was searching and digging for the leak. I told Sterling I showed the two workers the spot the water was coming from which is where they found the leaking pipe less than a foot below grade. This took less than 30 minutes for them to dig up, remove the dirt and find the leak in the pipe.

Sterling went on to say $256 was for shutting off the water, opening a fire hydrant to bleed air out of the water line and pressure test the system to make sure the repair held. $35 was for the replacement pipe and fittings.

I told Sterling $600 for less than 3 hours work seemed to be a lot. He said they do not charge by the hour; they are a reputable plumbing company.

This company was recommended to me by another vendor I have used for many years. The vendor said they did good work at a reasonable price.

The work done was good. I am not sure about the reasonable part.

Update:

The coupling Zurn installed less than 6 months later failed. Did I call Zurn to come back and fix it since it is under warranty? No way based on previous experience.

Zurn Plumbing came to the rescue after another plumbing company installed water heaters incorrectly and did a mainline repair job incorrectly that resulted in flooding of our entire lower level.  They were professional and skilled at their job--top notch plumbers.  We highly recommend them!

Called and made an appointment 6 days in advance. Was told I would have to take a 4 hour time window, they would call 30 minutes before arrival. After the 5th hour of waiting I called their office. The person who answered the phone, Chris, had no idea why no one came or why it hadn't been put on the board. He had all my information but did not show an appointment. His excuse was I guess it was human error, that happens. I took a half day off work to sit and wait for them. No real apology, just an offer to give me another appointment. I have to co-ordinate multiple professionals to get my project completed. Why would I trust one of the integral parts of my project to a company who didn't show up? They lost thousands of dollars of work due to their human error. If you need to rely on a professional company to show up....you might want to try someone else.

We needed to have a ton of cast iron replaced. Other plumbers wouldn't even come look at the job if cast iron was involved. Zurn was willing to do the work and they are quality all the way. They exceeded every expectation. Very impressed. We plan to switch to them for our other plumbing needs.

We've used these guys twice now, and both experiences were extremely positive. They are upfront about the pricing, and this last time ended up being lower than he originally estimated. The plumber also saved me even more money by letting me know about a deal on Angie's List, and then topped it all off by giving me a new flapper for the toilet gratis. Scheduling service was a breeze, and they were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.

A couple years ago I bought a house and AS SOON AS I moved in I realized the hot water heater didn't work.  Zurn quickly installed a tankless water heater in my home.  I recently had my two year check up and they noticed that water pressure was low because of a dated, clogged filter.   You know how you don't know what you're just living with until you get something better?  I took a shower with my new water pressure and I thought I was under attack from the shower head.  Instead of a slow steady stream I was plummeted by water.  In a good way.  But totally unexpected.  I just thought all water in Dekalb County ran slow.  I was wrong.  

I have nothing but good things to say about Zurn.  I would recommend them to anyone.

Aleks could not have been more professional - diagnosed a very tricky issue, repaired it quickly and priced it fairly. Then, discovered another leak and issue that could have lead to additional problems and took care of that, too. Forget the rest when you have a plumbing need... don't get burned - just call Zurn. (Yeah - I know it doesn't completely rhyme, but I'm no Shakespeare, so close enough)

Showed up on time, which around here is a little unusual but we still have a right to expect it. Sterling the gentleman on the phone explained everything ahead of time and then called the morning the work was to be done to confirm they would be there on time.
Matthew and Andrew showed up, had business cards and uniforms, and were polite and professional.
All their work was well done and they explained everything they were going to do, billing, and what they did, I couldn't ask for more from them.
I recommend them highly.

They arrived on time, called ahead to let me know they were on their way.  I like that they had a pre-printed price list.  They seemed fair with their pricing and were ready to do the work.  I will use them again (hopefully I will have no more plumbing issues but if I do I will!)

......next door neighbor told my daughter she smelled gas coming from the area of her back deck.  She contacted Atlanta Natural Gas to report the leak and they sent someone out immediately to locate the leak and lock the gas meter.  Next morning she called Zurn Plumbing and scheduled an appointment.  Their scheduler called to let us know exactly when their plumber would arrive, which was much appreciated.  Master Plumber Mike Prescher quickly diagnosed the cause of the gas leak and gave me an estimate.  He told me exactly what he was going to do and how long it would take.  Also told me to contact Atlanta Natural Gas to get the meter unlocked and water heater re-lit once he was finished.

Would definitely recommend Zurn for any plumbing work.  They're a local company that has an established training program for their plumbers to assure they are qualified.  It's also good to know they've been around for years and stand behind their work.

Matt Zurn writes back to say he would like to work towards a solution yet has offered me NOTHING, what a lousy SOLUTION!!! Please use a different Plumbing Service who are honestly professional, licensed, certified and truly listen to the customer then informs them the right way the first time, not on the next visit!!! SUPERIOR is now my TRUST DALE CERTIFIED Plumbing Service unless MATT ZURN offers the right solution!!!

I have used Zurn probably 10 times and they are always on time and give you a fair price up front. My son just had some major work done and they were well below the competition and did a great job.

BEWARE.  

They charged me $150 to give me a quote but won't credit all of the $150 unless I did everything on their quote which was greater than $5,000.  

Be wary of plumbers that charge you a fee to give you a quote.  I called Zurn to have them come out for a quote.  They said that they charge to come out and give quotes but that if you decide to use them, they will credit the quote fee against the work done.

So they sent Shawn over to my house to take a look.  All I really wanted was to get a garbage disposal installed and have them check on a leak in my crawlspace.  Shawn ends up quoting me 4 things to fix that will cost me over $5,000.  

When I called Zurn back and told them that I only wanted to do the garbage disposal, they said that they cannot give me $150 (that they had charged me for the quote) unless I did EVERYTHING that was on the quote.  ARE YOU SERIOUS?

They apologized for the miscommunication but they really should be apologizing for scamming me.  Furious, I found another plumber.

BTW, Zurn could only install a garbage disposal but cannot install new wiring.  I found a guy that could do both at a lower rate and didn't charge me to give me a quote.

We called in with and emergency leak situation and two techs showed up within an hour and addressed the situation quickly. We also learned the regulator (not sure if that's the proper term) was bad, and had that replaced at the same time. Was very relieved that they showed up so quickly and knew what they were doing. Very professional technicians - great customer service - highly recommend!!!

My go to plumber! Great experience every time. Quick and thorough. Not the cheapest but not too bad. Worth it to know the job will be done right and fast.

I have dealt with Zurn a good bit at the property I maintenance. These guys are great. We have a cistern on my property that feeds the irrigation system. The pumps had stopped working. The problem was we had no real way to access without cutting concrete. Matt from Zurn developed a game plan for us and got us set up with new pumps and expansion tanks that we can now easily maintain. No one else wanted to touch this. We have used them for several other projects on the property. They are always prompt and always do a bang up job. I trust these professionals and their decades of experience. Thanks Zurn!
