Okay, this review is actually about a misunderstanding that took place. It has nothing to do with their services, but everything to do with trust and responsibility. Let me explain what happened.
1. We got their information from the Better Business Bureau and called the number provided. Person at the other end acted a little suspicious and rude. Called back after we hung up demanding to know who called him. Was very upsetting at the time. What happened afterward changed this review from 1 to 4 stars.
2. So it appears that the number from the Better Business Bureau was the young person's personal number and he's been getting a ton of calls there all week. He gets what he thinks is another scam call and, understandably, wants to know who this one more caller is. He has no idea that this is a legit customer. I might have done the same in his position.
3. I come on here and write a review because, frankly, I was insulted at the way my wife and I were treated by a total stranger representing a local business. Now, here's where things change--
4. The owner sees the review, confronts the young man, and instead of playing the denial game that so many managers and owners play, admits to the error, corrects the young man, and has the young man call to apologize for the way he treated us.
I could have left this review alone and let it stand as a warning to treat strangers on the phone with courtesy regardless of what one thinks is happening, but the guy earned my respect with his response. Not many would do what he did, and he deserves to be rewarded, or at the very least, not penalized. If I knew his services were as good as many say, I would've given 5 stars instead of 4, but this review is based solely upon my dealings with the owner and, as the ratings state, I'm a fan--at least of the way he handled the situation. I hope that young man learned a life lesson that will help him make better choices next time.
