I called to schedule an appointment for my HVAC preventative maintenance for the warmer months ahead of us.Their employee who answered my call told me we won't be scheduling preventative maintenance service until SEPTEMBER This is April.

I've used this company for my electrical work before they started doing plumbing and HVAC. The bigger these companies get. The worst they become.

I guess it's safe to say there isn't enough money to be made in the preventative stage. Call us when your shit actual breaks. Once they hit their slow season.They'll send you coupons for promotions.No thank you.

My response to the owner response: Go and help the community that you service. Out here chasing down customer reviews. Do better.

Just had TE certified Electrician Joaquin at my house to repair basement outlet wall plate and ceiling fan light.. He was awesome. Quoted me a fair price for the job and did not up sale or try to sell me on more repairs. He checked the panel to make sure everything was in order. He was a straight forward type of guy. I like that.. I will definitely ask for him to come back when I have my panel updated. Thank you Joaquin and see you again soon.

I had called TE after reading a lot of reviews several months ago to fix my HVAC. Kevin came out and was very professional and knowledgeable. I already knew the unit was going to have to be replaced but he also pointed out some serious concerns about how it had been put in before - no drip pan at the bottom, the electrical wiring was right next to the gas line (dangerous!) and had the unit replaced and running quickly. It has worked like a charm since then and is quieter and clearly was put in more professionally than last time. They have sent messages a couple of times to make sure everything was running well and yesterday (Saturday), I noted a water leak from one of the ducts, I called and Kevin came out right away. It turns out it was a plumbing issue and he recommended a great plumber (their plumber was booked that day) and didn't charge me for coming out. They are very service oriented and take great care of their clients. Can't recommend highly enough!

Kevin did a great job. I had him inspect our main electrical panel that our seller had done by an unlicensed electrician. I wanted to make sure everything checked out and was up to code. I also had him look at a safety switch on our furnace and repair. He was very thorough, professional, and knowledgable. It put my mind at ease as we move forward with the purchase of this house. I didn't know they did HVAC work. I accepted a telephone offer for a special price for a winter tune-up. Price was very good. The technician, Cesar, was professional, competent and friendly. He clearly explained all of his findings and made recommendations. I did not feel like he was pushing me to buy. I will definitely use T&E for future HVAC work. I used them for electrical services previously and had a similarly positive experience.

During these pandemic times I decided to catch up on some home TLC. I have been meaning to get a HVAC contract for my home system as a means of preventative maintenance. I was able to call and have someone out in a matter of days. It was a great service visit where I was treated like a valuable customer.

Technician: Preston
Service window chosen: 11am - 2pm (Preston came early, which was welcomed)
The visit: Preston came to my home and maintained 6ft the entire visit. He was polite and explained everything he was doing, and what he was planning to do. Upon entering my home, the tech made use of shoe booties as to not track anything from outside into my home.
Units both inside and outside were serviced. At the conclusion of Preston's visit, he even offered to sign with my permission; I gladly accepted.

I look forward to the ongoing servicings and hope that I don't need a true repair call anytime soon!

My experience with Joey from TE was great! Professional and courteous, Joey took the time to explain what was wrong with our hvac unit and was able to complete repairs during the visit. With this heat in Atlanta, it has been unbearable in our house for a week, and we are so grateful to have received an honest, great price and top notch repairs. Professional looking, off the cuff pricing and diagnostics. I have two AC units, the tech came out for the estimate and found 5 points that needed addressing on both units for 10 issues total. Because of the scope of the work I found two other companies to do other estimates and both only found one issue with one of the units. The dollar amount quoted for the unit with one issue was $1200+ that other contractors would fix for less than $200. I'm pissed I paid $50 for their estimate. The issue is not with these guys being slightly overpriced, the issue is with overscoping. I would certainly avoid or get a second opinion with these guys.

On Labor Day when my toilet started to leak onto the ceiling below, I pretty much freaked out. I know nothing about plumbing and I am para with the school system so money is extremely tight. Honestly, I was really scared so I researched several companies. I found that TE did not have one single negative review. I called and the lady I spoke with actually worked for TE, not an answering service. She was very knowledgeable and was so kind to make sure I had turned off the water supply. I told her I was not sure how I would pay for it she advised that they had financing available if I needed it. The day of my appointment I received a text advising where my plumber was, in his day, and the approximate time he would be at my home. I then received a text with my plumber JR's photo and a short introduction. Then I received a call from JR advising his exact ETA per his GPS. Now here's when things get interesting. JR, on his tablet, gives me three possible quotes for what he believes could be the problem. He is pulling the exact prices from a predetermined price list. He is NOT a salesperson he IS a plumber. Quote, #1 was if the issue was simply pulling the toilet and putting a new wax ring on. Quote, #2 was pulling the toilet and having to replace the flange. Quote, #3 if I wanted to install a newer make and style. He was not trying to sell me anything he was giving me options.
As money was tight I advised I wanted keep what I had. Without hesitation, he got to work. It was issue #1 and he completed the job for exactly the price he quoted. It was extremely affordable. He was working off of a predetermined price list so the remarkably affordable price I was charged is the price you will be charged as well. I'm very happy with the service JR and TE certified provided....and JR is such a nice young man!

Johnathan was great, professional and knowledgeable. i was very happy with the service provided and that Johnathan took the time to go over a number of things I needed addressed and cleaned up after himself when the work was done. I choose to only do the most important as I had a limited budget. I did feel the pricing was a bit high but I'm a first time home owner and still learning about costs for all kinds of services. I'll have to do more research for pricing for next time but for the work that was done and the tech sent it was a great experience.

Very transparent. He would show pictures of everything he's looked at, and explain the places he wants to troubleshoot next and how he'll do that. I felt very confident in paying the money needed to replace the parts that he identified were the issues. It was a hard issue and he stayed as long as needed until seeing it through to a solution.

I hired TE to install an outlet to charge my Tesla. The TE experience started out great! The electrician visited, was polite and friendly, and seemed trustworthy. He took longer than anticipated because he needed a part delivered but in the end the unit seemed to be working fine.

As part of the service, I paid for TE to take care of the permitting and inspection with the city. The quote was higher than my other quote but I went with TE because I wanted a worry free transaction.

After the tech left, I was told TE would reach out re the inspection and permit.

I reached out post job to make sure the inspection was set up.

It didn't pass the first time but turns out the inspector made a mistake. The electrician came out again, Re inspected, took a video, & it's now passed.

The great thing about TE is that they are responsive. You can text them and they will respond quickly.

When I was concerned with inspection passing I got a call from the business manager Russ and he was able to clear things up.

For future electrical work I will reach out to TE again

Craig Garnto did a wonderful job with adding two light fixtures to our kitchen ceiling, just above our kitchen island. This company is doing business the right way...they reminded of how Amazon focuses on customer service. They came out the same day for an HVAC problem (within an hour) for a reasonable fee. Fixed the issue without extra charges or overages and were thorough in their explanation of the work completed.

About a week after they serviced the residence I received a thank you card and a small gift from them for my business. I'm a critic by nature and have to say they stood out with their professional attitude and excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Great overall experience with TE Certified. I found them via a Yelp search after my frustrations reaching out to several electricians to reinstall a Ring floodlight. I submitted a quote for service and was contacted immediately. A quick phone call and description of needed service led to scheduling a visit in upcoming week. They provided timely and informative text updates leading up to service including name and picture of the assigned technician. I had the pleasure to have John assigned to me. He was professional and easy to interact with. He quickly assessed the work and provided me an estimate on the spot. My initial call explained the process that there was no fee to visit and estimate will be provided once work was assessed. This was contrary to every other contractor I reached out to which had some expensive fee (minimal $90). John helped me gain trust quickly and his estimate came back lower than any pre estimate I received from other contractors. Again helping increase my trust. In the end the work was completely quickly and beyond my expectations. Definitely will be using TE again for other needs and I would highly recommend them to others.

Justin came out to fix a problem with a bad breaker leading to no power in my A/C. He was professional and polite and made sure I knew of all charges in advance. He noted that another piece of the system was on its last legs and he could fix it as well, but that it wasn't necessary right this monent. He offered me the immediate fix I needed for one price, or to fix everything that was worn out for another price. He did not pressure me, just gave me clear options. When he was finished, he even fixed a fan pull as a favor! Very satisfied and would use this company again!

This was the BEST experience I think ever with an electrician and HVAC expert. I see why the reviews are so great for this company--the service is top notch and HONEST and they communicate with you every step of the way from booking your appointment to what they are doing while in your house and the explanation of the issues after are just amazingly thorough. Jeremy was my technician for HVAC and let me tell you, he was absolutely knowledgeable, patient, honest, hardworking, I could keep going! He was so thorough with our issues and took all the time needed to explain the issues in layman's terms and did everything to fix the issues on-site that day. Company: I tend to do just chat or go to websites to schedule. I don't usually call because I'm always on zoom meetings. Thank you to Amber and Daria for responding to my messages and scheduling it through the yelp message. Very courteous

HVAC: Gonzalo is the best! I don't know anything about HVAC's but he gave me a rundown of what is my equipment. He is very polite and professional. When I told him my issue, which was the heat don't stop even if it passed it temperature set in my Google Nest Thermostat, he checked the the equipment's and he said the problem was the wiring without looking at the wirings inside the heating equipment. And when he opened it, voila! The wirings are wrong that's why the thermostat was having issues communicating with the HVAC system. He did his work (which I feel bad to him coz it was scorching hot). Fix the wirings, did the re-wiring on the thermostat and test it out. I am a QA Software Engineer so I know when I see someone thoroughly test something, since testing is my forte (though it will be on software and not hardware) LOL! Also he gave me a deal that I took. It was cheap if I do all the services multiple times in a year with them or with different company. All in all, I am satisfied with Gonzalo's work and the companies communication. Plumbing: adding this to my review because Shane just finished my issues with my sink. For some people might say that I can do it myself, but doing it myself has the risk of making mistakes and just make it worse. I rather have a professional look at it and Shane was exceptional on that! Shane was also nice to talk to coz we have the same interest which Japanese culture. He also explained to me things that needed to be change because it is old and true, the house I bought it old some of the equipment's are outdated. Once I have my budget sorted, I will definitely reach out to TEC and ask for Shane.

Always scary When you have electrical issues at your home and you don't know what you're dealing with. Also the fear are you paying too much for things you don't really need? Especially with a company you've never used before. TE certified electricians had outstanding reviews on yelp and thankfully I've come to experience firsthand that they deserve them. Very professional. Very thorough and everything is well documented and explained. And I even got to use the Yelp discount coupon.

Our service person was Joaquin. He was very patient and thorough and checked a lot of things in the house at my request, because we just recently purchased this home and had a number of electrical and wiring questions. The home inspector originally pointed a few things out that should be looked at by a certified electrician. Joaquin Verified a few possible fire hazards and code issues and was quickly and inexpensively able to correct/fix them. I could not be happier. I would recommend TE to anyone needing a certified electrician. I am keeping my documents and their Business card handy for any future needs.

I would also like to mention that their office staff was very friendly and helpful. I called them at 4 PM yesterday to set an appointment and they we're here the following day, on Saturday, as scheduled. They kept in communication on when they were coming and arrived on time. Can't ask for more than that.

Our central AC had gone out, not knowing who to call I asked yelp and found TE.
It's hot, Georgia hot and I couldn't wait for a few days on the account of my 3 month old baby.
I called in and they got someone to come to my place the same afternoon. I was told between 11-1 PM. But since the tech was running late I got a call from
Dispatch that it was more like 2 pm, which I appreciated getting the heads up.
Joey and his assistant(Caleb I think) came over tried a bunch of things, filled up on refrigerant but was unable to find the leak without doing a nitro test which I held off on. I appreciate the advice, options, no pressure to get the job done instantly since I wanted to cool down asap. When summers over I will def be reaching out to get it checked out hopefully it's just some leaky coils and nothing serious.
In this line of business, more than best pricing and instant service is TRUST on the technicians and the company's values on its business practices.
I'd rather pay more for trust than try to get the best deal and shotty services.
O i purchased the $50 for $100 deal from yelp which covered the cost of the service call. There was a mix up in invoicing on the day off but Joey and their accounting dept was on it and got it fixed asap. It was only $50 bucks but that's a good test of the company's efficiency and its hassle free after sales services. Thank you.

Joaquin came out and diagnosed the problem in a couple of minutes, the fact that he spoke Spanish was a plus since my wife does not speak English and was able to understand what was happening, he was very professional and helped us understand the basic workings of our electrical system and this is very helpful as we're new homeowners.

The whole experience was very positive, Joaquin came out within hours of my call and had us up and running in less than 30 minutes.

The one reason I would not give this 5 stars is the price. $149 just to diagnose is a little steep, and I would recommend braking down that fee into something more appropriate to the problem, perhaps have different fees depending how involved/complicated the diagnosis is. All in all not bad service.

TE takes customer satisfaction very seriously. This is my updated review. Details below -

(a) Context: We recently had TE install a new AC unit and evaporator coil after our old unit stopped cooling.

(b) Initial Experience: TE assigned 2 technicians to come out and provide us the quote. The technicians were courteous and effectively articulated the different units / pricing options for us to make a choice. We aligned on the choice of the unit and went ahead with the installation. The installation was completed the same day in 4 to 5 hours. After the installation was complete, I reviewed the new units and had found some air gaps / leakage. The technicians were receptive and filled the gaps that I had highlighted. However it lowered my confidence in the overall work that was completed. Additionally, it reduced my collective experience as a customer in the context of several parameters like pre-post installation, invoice billing and few other items; given the expectation of a high level of expertise and quality checks from TE. I then outlined and shared my experience in initial review for TE.

(c) Follow-up: However, in less than 2 hours of posting the initial review, the TE Manager called me to discuss about my concerns and asked what he could do enhance my experience. He was very polite and appreciated the feedback provided. I requested a walk-through by any Senior Expert to review the installation to help increase my confidence in the work done. He offered a personal visit to check the systems. He immediately called back to confirm his availability the same day and came down to our house.

(d) Discussion: The TE Manager and I had an open discussion on the concerns that I had raised. I provided him a view of how my collective experience (start to end) did not go that well. He also provided his perspective on things that went well and things that could have been done better. This open and frank discussion is something that I did not anticipate, because in many cases conversations like these easily tend to go the contentious route. However, that was not the case. The TE manager patiently heard my views. Overall, it was a mature feedback conversation that went beyond the point-in-time event and looked at the holistic customer experience.

(e) Walk-through: After the good initial discussion, the TE Manager and I walked through the system installation. He reviewed the AC unit and tightened it where necessary. Additionally, he looked at the evaporator coil set-up and provided me assurance based on the outside observation. For few areas where there seemed to be any gaps, he applied additional silicone to further strengthen the closure. Separately, he also educated us on establishing appropriate Thermostat settings and provided valuable information on cooling / heating components. The TE Manager provided us comfort and helped restore confidence in the work that was done.

(f) Wrap-up: After the walk-through, I inquired about TE's maintenance service that was highlighted by some customers in their reviews. I also requested if he could apply the yelp promotion ($48) towards the maintenance contract as I had missed it during installation. He was quick to acknowledge it and I went ahead and signed-up for the annual maintenance service as well.

(g) Overall: We had chosen TE for our AC unit and evaporator coil installation after reading previous customer experiences and comparing the business with most other service providers in the area. I would like to highlight that TE is receptive to customer feedback and takes customer satisfaction very seriously. We are glad to have hired TE for the service.

This is our first time using TE Certified Electricians and we couldn't be any happier! The inexpensive fluorescent undercounter lighting installed in our kitchen in 1998 had reached the end of its useful life so we contracted with TE Certified Electricians to remove the old fixtures and install new LED lights. Clay was our electrician and he did a marvelous job! The original light fixtures were not installed to code (had exposed Romex cable) and only four of the original fixtures turned on at the wall switch (the other two had to be controlled individually using the fixture on/off switch). Clay installed seven new LED fixtures and brought all of the wiring up to code. To top it off, he was able to get all seven LED fixtures on a single dimmer switch so we can now easily turn all the LED lights on & off and dim the lights to suit the time of the day! Great work, Clay----even though the undercounter lighting is hidden from plain view, it is professionally done with all of the problems of the original installation corrected!

My pole that the power line came into house on the roof was leaning over. After calling 2 other companies and getting useless results/info was looking here and saw a review about TE dealing with the same problem. So I called them. Jamie came out and told me that my power line can no longer come into the roof that way, so fixing that leaning pole was never going to be done. Plus, due to new regulations, the meter can no longer be on the back of the house, so that had to be moved, and where oh where to put it.
He finally decided that he would put it on one of the posts on my carport. Since I am in the city of Duluth, permit had to be pulled and appointment made with the inspector, which he took care of. The first day Jamie and his helper were here @ 8:00 and did everything they needed to do inside, in the attic, under the house including wired in smoke alarms (with carbon monoxide detectors) in all bedrooms and the hall, so that they were ready to go to have Georgia Power come out and take the power off the pole. Here until almost 4.
At 8:00 the next day, power company was here and dropped the line. Jamie went right to work and did what he needed to do. The inspector came out and approved everything. Then the GA Power guy came back. It was amazing to watch him maneuver the lift pod' around the side of my house and hook the lines to the house and then turn around and hook the line to the power.
The way Jamie had taken care of it, I was only without power from 8 until around 2:30 and he was kind enough to bring me a generator for my fridge. Great job Jamie!

One of TE's techs, Justin, came out to install a 240v, 50A outlet for our EV charger. He did an excellent, fast, and clean job at a fair price. Moreover, he helped me understand how to check if we needed to pull a permit or not (which depends on the make of your EV), and gave us the information about how to apply for the $250 rebate that Georgia Power gives to EV owners - something we weren't even aware of! Also, the back office staff at TE was very communicative in planning the appointment and the follow-up.

I have used TE in the past for electrical, HVAC, & plumbing. I thought I finally found a reliable, honest and fairly priced service company. I was very disappointed with TE addressing my latest plumbing needs. They sent out two different plumbers to evaluate the situation. The approach of the plumbing dept. is to send someone out who looks at the problem, then quotes an OUTRAGEOUS dollar amount, usually to repair/rebuild 2-3 times the original problem. After you pick yourself up from the floor, they come back with a lesser solution that will do. It is still priced at 50-100% more than others charge. Doing business with them has become like buying a used car in the old days.........lots of games & haggling.
Regretfully, I'll have to look elsewhere for my next home repair service.

We had a ten year old HVAC unit stop working over Memorial Day weekend. Josh was dispatched and was at our house the next day arriving right on time. I was notified when he would be there multiple times; it is so important to me during a busy day to know when a repairer will be there. I can't say enough great things about how professional, knowledgeable, and thorough he was assessing our problem, offering multiple options for repair, then repairing the issue.

TE is probably not the cheapest option, but when I believe I will get competent advice and professional workmanship, it is worth it. I recommended them to my son, who was having an HVAC issue, and he had similar praise for them. A solid five stars for this company!

TE Certified are your best and safest bet when it comes to electrical. Their flat fee quoting format is nice because then you don't need to worry about excessive troubleshooting time ballooning your total cost. While not the cheapest electrician in the area, I am a believer in you get what you pay for, so peace of mind and quality of work are paramount. I also appreciated the thorough explanations and visual walk through that Nick was willing to take the time to give me. I'll definitely use them again.

I had a power outage in my home and TE Electric responded right away on Monday morning and even called to move my appointment up earlier in the day.

Thomas was very professional, he explained the issues to me in non-technical language. I have a home office and since Thomas was replacing my electrical panel and had to turn the power off for most of the day, he hooked up my wireless router to a generator in his truck, so I could keep working during the day. I went to TE Electrical for a pretty big amount of electrical work including replacing our main box coming into the house, re-running the main power line, replacing a 200 amp breaker box, numerous recessed lights, two ceiling fans, a dining room fixture, smoke detectors in all bedrooms and common areas and two exhaust fans. A large investment in our 1980's dated house. William came out to do the estimating and I was pleased to find out he would also be doing all the work. Pricing was competitive with other companies I called but I was won over by how professional and knowledgeable this 3rd generation electrician William was. He communicated extremely well leading up to the week of the work and was extremely thorough in his explanation and planning of how the work would go. He and Arturo arrived early on the first day and worked late each night trying to minimize the inconvenience that this week's worth of work would cause. He interacted wonderfully not only with my wife/daughter but also my 3 dogs who ended up loving them both.

The lighting changes, ceiling fans and fixtures transformed my house. The work they did changing out two breaker boxes that had been outlawed in the late 80's fixed a major potential hazard in my house.

I couldn't recommend William and TE Electricians more. I would give them 8 stars if I could. Thanks to them for the tremendous work they did making my house beautiful and safe.

Update In response to the comments below, TE has come out and cleaned up our attic and will help improve the look of the meter in the front. So I have upgraded my review to Good.

TE came out last year to replace our electrical panel and enhance our smoke alarms. Three issues. First, the guy who did the quote wasn't the guy who did the work, and I got the impression that the guy who gave the quote didn't do a good job estimating the work required. It didn't cost any more, but it took about twice as long as originally estimated.
Second, when they moved our meter from inside our garage to outside, they put it very prominently beside the front door. Not a very attractive look.
Third, they left the insulation in our attic in a mess after installing new smoke alarms upstairs,. It was all pulled up and not put back in place. Very sloppy and unprofessional.
If you hire this company, make sure you know what you are getting, and make sure they leave the work area in a good condition.

Best pricing and customer experience around!!! When my AC broke, I called three different companies for quotes. TE Certified had the most competitive pricing, knowledgeable and trustworthy technicians who showed up on time for every appointment. They topped off my compressor with coolant for free to tide me over so I could stay cool until they could install my system a week later... and threw in an ecobee thermostat at no cost. As if it couldn't get any better... just received a thank you card in the mail from them thanking me for my business and it included a Starbucks gift card and 5% lifetime service discount. I had Justin come out and give a quote. He was on time and attentive to our needs. He listened to my wants and made helpful suggestions to save time and money.

We read reviews and had several companies come out for estimates until we decided on TE. From the quote and scheduling to the install and final review once the propane was connected, we were very pleased and highly recommend the company!! The technicians were so professional and cleaned up after themselves. Part of the purchase price includes a 10-year warranty, and the company will service the generator after installation when other companies do not. We like both of those factors. With a working generator now, we are ready for the inevitable power outages we get, living by the lake. Our street will be the last one for power to be restored since so few live on it. Now we won't lose the food I prepare and keep in the freezer! And we won't freeze in the cold or sweat in the heat! Support local business!

A few months ago I purchased the HomeCare Maintenance Plan. Today, Russell came out to do my summer tune-up. I had recently had some warranty work done by another company (chosen by my home warranty) and I'm glad I had this tune-up scheduled AFTER that work. TE plumber accidentally broke the SPVC water line to upstairs toilet while attempting to repair a slow leak they detected in the toilet, causing the incoming water to cascade down thru my recently renovated kitchen ceiling can lights & pendant lights.
Water damage Destroyed over half of kitchen drywall ceiling & portion of crown molding attached to ceiling.
An absolutely disastrous situation.

They had restoration company out same day to bring in industrial drying equipment and had to tape/cordon off my kitchen. This took several days.

The restoration repair company TE uses took 3 weeks to submit their repair quote back to TE.

The quote & its details for the repair (over $7K), which was to our satisfaction, is now again being delayed for the scheduling of the repair/restore work by TE themselves.

TE now suddenly want a 2nd restoration/repair company to come assess & quote them for the restoration work their unfortunate incompetence has caused.

My kitchen has been lying in ruin, and my kitchen doorways covers in plastic sheeting for nearly a month now, with no end in sight. Zero accountability here by TE.

This is unacceptable by any standard.

I am asking TE's #1 Exec to get involved, man up and do the right thing for the customer here-make us whole now

I had these folks out to troubleshoot and fix my home generator. I thought the customer service was great and they were communicative with when the tech would arrive. It turned out my generator simply needed a new battery which cost roughly 70-80 dollars total for the battery itself. I end up being charged over $420 for the entire service of diagnosing and then installation. To me, this is very high considering the part itself was not expensive. I understand their labor involved I suppose and need to make a buck off of the deal also but this feels like an unfair price in my opinion. It also took the tech over an hour to determine the battery was dead. Shouldn't that be the first thing you check if you're a master electrician and something isn't turning on?!?

UPDATE:
Many months later after spending all this money, my power goes out and the generator did not work. I had these guys back out to check it and they told me there was nothing they could do and they aren't very well versed in generators. They were super quick to take my money though and I paid them $420 for absolutely nothing.

Scheduling was wonderful. Their electrician was prompt, and obviously very passionate and well-informed. He even asked to take a photo of some prior work I had had done, because he said it was perfect and he wanted to keep it for inspiration!
Their plumbing team didn't wind up doing any plumbing for me but they did do water mitigation. I had to call them back out because they left my basement smelling very moldy. They did come back out and after I objected to the surcharge, they waived it.

TE was absolutely fantastic! I wanted to replace my older furnace and AC unit in my townhome and I called TE based on prior Yelp reviews.

Brent came out to do the initial quote. He was professional, friendly, and super informative. He was here over an hour looking at my current system and educating me about the choices for replacement. He gave me 3 written options that were clear and concise - each included equipment features, energy efficiency information, differences between each level of system, and pricing (monthly payments), warranties, etc. There was absolutely no pressure, whatsoever.

Leading up to the job, communication was consistent and clear. The day of the work, Brent was here with the technicians to make sure everything went smoothly. Joey and his colleague were incredible - again, polite, professional, efficient, informative - just a great experience.

The most impressive thing, though, happened about a week after the system had been installed, on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. The thermostat started alarming and the air conditioning stopped working. Not doing what to do on a holiday weekend, I got in touch with Brent - who called Joey. Joey (who was not on call, but who had done the work) left his holiday plans and drove an hour, at 9 pm, to come see what was wrong. He was able to fix it (turned out to be a quirk with the thermostat that was no fault of TE's, nor was it related to the installation), but talk about going above and beyond! Highly highly recommend them - don't even think about using anyone else!

I found this company to be very overpriced. I needed light bulbs changed in a 2 story foyer. When I called the customer support person had no idea what they would charge would be. The call to come out would be $29, the technician could give me a quote and the $29 would be applied to the job. I figured at most it would be $100. When the tech arrived he told me that the bulbs would be $12 each and it needed 2, which was fine but then he quoted me $225 for the job...I chose not to have the work done!

Such friendly guy but we had a little mishap with Adam misdiagnosed the troubleshooting. We just bought a house and hadn't even moved in when we needed to call for help. I attempted to have a fridge installed the other morning, but we discovered the water line was leaking into my basement and the drywall was mush. After another company bailed on me (AFTER I waited 4 hours in my empty house for them!) I called TE in a panic as it was already mid afternoon. TE was professional and quick...they had someone there within the hour! JR was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what to do. He tested everything thoroughly and then gave his recommendation. He got the part and fixed my water valve immediately, which let me leave the house knowing I wouldn't have a pool in my basement the next day! I would use them again in a heartbeat!!

This rating is due to three areas of poor customer service by tech and supervisor.

1. Tech came out to check all outlets and panel due to some outlets stop working. First tech was not thorough in his findings, because I still had outlets not working when he left. The 2nd tech found the other outlets, yes I was charged twice.

2. After 2nd tech found outlets not working I asked to speak to a Supervisor. The Spv told the tech to tell me to call him instead of Spv getting on the phone with me at that time. I explained my concern to the spv and he said he will check call to make sure what I asked for as well as speak to the tech and call me back to see what can be done.

3. Two hours later when the 2nd tech completed the work the spv had not called me back, so I had to call him. Yes, I had to call back and follow up with the Spv. Needless to say he offered no solution. Any industry has employees that are not as well experienced as others, but I would hope that the next level up in Mgmt is competent enough and have the customer service skills to resolve the issue.

I use to reccomend TE Certified to seniors and single moms, but NO MORE, because I don't want someone to pay twice and speak to a Spv that will not resolve concerns.

Update: The Spv called me back after reading my comments and stated he never stated he would call me back.

My apology I would have thought he wanted to call me back and let me know the resolution of my concerns, but he had no plans too which is not good customer service for a Mgmt representative of this company.

A 5 star rating doesn't begin to describe the professional efficiency of this company & its technicians. The last thing any homeowner in Georgia needs is for their ac to stop working right before, or during summer. But that's what happened to us last week when one of the ac units in our home stopped working. The same day my husband called to schedule an appointment TE sent one of their guys out to determine the issue. The next day HVAC Technician Kevin McCray came out to begin repairing the broken unit. Kevin explained in detail what was wrong and what needed to be done to get our system working properly again. He ordered a blower motor for the furnace in the attic, and today he came back to do the install. Both Kevin and the first technician displayed the qualities of excellent customer. They were prompt, attentive, communicated well & had knowledge of their jobs, equipment & system. I would recommend TE Certified Heating & Cooling to anyone needing an electrician or HVAC repaired.

From my first phone call to end of job, TE, Russ and Clay (can't remember the name of the woman I spoke with on the phone but her too) did an incredible job. They communicated everything up front so there were no surprises. Explained everything they would be doing plus suggested options to enhance. However, once we decided to stick with the original plan, not one mention was made of their suggestion so it didn't feel like they were trying to upsell us but instead, felt like they were genuinely providing their suggestions. The completed the work in a short period of time and spent the time explaining details of the finished work to us and answering any questions that we had. Won't be calling another electrician again (that is if we ever need one) and would recommend these guys to anyone who is looking.

There are not words adequate enough to state how great TE Certified Electrical Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is. Everyone from their office staff to their sales staff to the technicians that come to the home are professional and personable.

We had recently bought a 20 year old home and immediately had a water heater and HVAC issue. Too long of a story for a review, but we had nightmare experiences with another company before being referred to TE.

Not only was the diagnosis of the issue with our AC unit by the other company incorrect, but they actually tried to charge us to replace a water heater that didn't need to replaced. TE sent someone out to look at the water heater and another to look at the HVAC. Jesse was sent out to look at our water heater issues and was phenomenal. He was the first to properly diagnose the issue. He also set the tone for what would be a string of exceptional treatment of us as a customer. The technician that looked at our AC unit was Preston and he could not have been more thorough in his work and committed to making a positive difference for us. Truly exceptional.

We needed to replace the AC Unit. Our sales person was Eric, who was also outstanding. He did a great job of outlining our options, explained each in layman's terms and did not apply pressure to choose a specific option. Rather, he educated us on pros and cons of each.

When it came to the install faze, Nick and Johnny were sent to do the work. Again, they were exceptional. Their work was high quality, but equally important they also demonstrated through their actions that they wanted to make a positive difference for our family.

In each of the above scenarios, they arrived as scheduled. The office called to notify of the window. A text message with the technician's picture was sent. TE won't be the cheapest, but they have outstanding integrity, do exceptional work and are committed to customer service. I highly recommend them!

Just had a foyer chandelier replaced. My problem is the foyer is 2 stories high. While here they also noticed my nonfunctioing smoke detectors. I chose to replace them all.

I was pleased with the work, but your pricing was too high. I had them install 2 bathroom faucets and one turn off valve for $800.
They did not install the sink drain and now I cannot use the stoppers. I was told it would be and additional $200 each to finish the job. I had your company install a hot water heater and a toilet earlier this month and was very satisfied with that job.

The missing star is due the scheduling department via Yelp;

There is no chaarge [sic] to get us out there, if the Tech has to do any type of troubleshooting, there would be a charge of $149

I had understood no charge to get us out there to mean that there is no service charge. The any type of troubleshooting sounded like a minimum that would apply towards repairs. The final cost was well beyond that but it turns out that $149 was in *addition* to the repairs, not *applied towards* any repairs.

Partly my bad for making assumptions instead of clarifying, however There is no chaarge [sic] to get us out there is not true and should be removed from their scheduling department's communication script. I didn't invite them over for tea :) haha so of course there is going to be work involved.

I admire TE Certified for having talented staff performing high quality services, taking good care of people. Keep up the good work !! One of my only suggestions is to improve on pricing. I was quoted about labor $ 400 to install a kitchen faucet. Elsewhere 100-150, so I had to have it done from someone else.

Jonathan was very adept at his job...quick, but extremely thorough. He was able to do what no other electrician was able to do for the 5 1/2 years we've lived at this address: install an outlet outside our home through brick and concrete. He also switched out a couple of pendant lights in our kitchen. All this was affordable & done to the most current code requirements. Highly recommend!

We had a circuit breaker problem that resulted in two odd areas of the house losing electricity at the same time. While Miguel was here, I had him look at a couple of other items that had been annoying us. He found the problem, and gave us three reasonable estimates of how to address it. No pressure either way, but we chose to upgrade our electrical system with a new, bigger panel, and replace outlets and wall switches, as well as upgrade our smoke detectors (we had smoke detectors that we thought were wired; they weren't :-( ) Miguel and his associates worked for three solid days, always on time and kept us up to date on the progress, and showed a real pride in workmanship. I now don't have warm switchplates, 14 double-tapped breakers, non-working outlets and have the peace of mind of up-to-date WORKING smoke detectors. Could not be more pleased!

Called them over for some flickering lights. Wound up needing to completely replace the fuse box. I believed them because nothing in my house was ever done to code. Everything from speaking to them on the phone to arrange the appointment to speaking with the servicemen was done very professionally. They were on time. It cost $1800 to replace the box. I have no idea how whether that's a good price or not and since it had to be replaced that moment since it was broken I had to go ahead. The electrician said it was mid-range, but considering the warranty and the service I had so far I was ok with it. One thing I'm very happy with is everything with them is digital... paying, receipts, invoices. I didn't have to worry about any paperwork.

I am an Atl native and have used almost every service provider there is. TE Certified is simply the best. They are honest, will never try to upsell, and will explain each part of the service they are performing. They will also educate you as to all your options. I have used them to install a water heater, an EV charger, and am currently using them for HVAC maintenance. They are always responsive. Jonathan was prompt and communicative. I have been using Thrasher Electric for many years. They are a knowledgeable team and have done many projects for us including installing a generac generator and transfer switch, load balancing to get the most out of our generator, decorative lighting, low voltage exterior lighting, track lighting, xenon lighting and more. We even had them do the wiring on a remodeling project for our house. Honestly, I wish all contractors were like Thrasher where they know what they are doing, are professional and follow up to make sure you were satisfied with their work.

I've had two air conditioner units repaired and serviced and one heat pump replaced. I also had a few smart switches put in that I couldn't figure out. They always offered advice without asking and options for any resolution I could try myself if it was simple and would help me out. It's very rare to come across a company with this type of genuine helpfulness across the board. Most HVAC companies were trying to rip me off as a first time homeowner, TE didn't, which was quite refreshing after an exhaustive process of getting quotes, which speak to their integrity. They were way better than all the big brands and a lot more genuine and patient. The five star reviews are real guys... these guys are legit. Great job TE!

I could not have been happier than to realize I was dealing with such a courteous and professional company! Your technician William McNeely is absolutely a diamond in the rough.I sure hope you realize what you have in both his expertise,but most especially his compassion and caring for our well being.A tree fell on our house,and we called your group to assess what needed to be done to restore power.This being the first of July and obviously Georgia hot,we could not stay in the house.He went over and above to make sure we knew what was going on at all times.He helped deal with and explain to the insurance adjustor what was needed.The insurance end of this was a complete headache,but William handled it all as the professional he is.He has called multiple times after power was restored to make sure everything was OK.i am simply overjoyed by both the work itself and of course the customer end of things.Thank you so much TE Certified! TE has reached out to us regarding the installation, and has agreed to upgrade our thermostat wiring free of charge. Jonny and his partner along with an electrician were all very professional, and managed to get both thermostats on each floor wired without having to cut drywall. The thermostat is now controlling our 2-stage furnace properly. When the temperature changes slightly, it kicks into the lower, more power efficient stage (h) and when it requires faster heating due to a larger temperature difference between desired temperature and measured temperature, it kicks into the higher, 100% heating stage (H) - images attached.

I would give the overall service 5 stars if it wasn't for the prior unpleasant conversation with the HVAC Service Manager Will and the lack of properly disclosing the limitations of our existing wiring by the Project Sales Manager before the purchase of our 2-stage furnace.

We appreciate TE for coming out and fixing this issue for us.

Interviewed three companies for a septic to sewer conversion--2 of the companies spent less than 10 minutes on the property and one of the representatives was intoxicated. TE spent 2 hours crawling under the house, walking the property, inspecting all of the plumbing and explaining everything along the way. The first quote was maybe $ YX price, we'll call you and they came back with I think we can do it for $XY+3k. The second was $10k higher. TE gave a quote that was lower than the other two and the final bill was lower than their initial quote. They showed up on time, were really nice, respectful of the landscaping and the neighbors, and finished earlier than they said. We didn't choose them just for the price--they just were rock, solid, good!

Yesterday morning the power went out in my finished basement, so I searched Yelp and found TE. They responded very quickly and scheduled an appointment for the next day, but they had an unexpected opening and came the same day. Their technician was very polite and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and also noticed some work they had done previously for a former owner of the house that was no longer in code. They got the power working in the basement and redid the out of code breaker box at no charge all on the same day! It's clear that they stand behind the work that they do. Wayne showed up before promised, diagnosed the electrical issue within minutes (as complicated as it turned out to be), and fixed the problem in less than an hour. And while the price wasn't dirt cheap (quality professional work is never dirt cheap), the price was within the realm of reasonable. Wayne's demeanor and confidence in his ability definitely put my mind at ease. I guess that's what nearly 30 years of experience does to one. Without a doubt the first ones I will ever call on should I need an electrician. Great job!!!

TE installed a gas line inside and outside, they also installed a water heater. He noticed that the water heater that we had installed by another co. 6 months ago was not only out of code but was releasing gas. He quickly repaired that and brought it to code. He cleaned up his mess, he was sufficient and knowledgeable about his work and took his training and license seriously. He represented he co. so well that I'm on here bragging about them.

I froze in my home for days, thanks to TE Certified HVAC who couldn't fix the furnace.

My 5 year old furnace stopped working on a SUNDAY morning with the first big cold snap we had come in. Sadly, I called TI Certified to repair the unit. The guy came on Tuesday afternoon and worked on it for over an hour but couldn't get it working. He finally said it wouldn't start because it wasn't getting enough air because the gas exhaust pipe was installed wrong. I said maybe, but it's been this way for the last 5 years when it was installed and has been working the whole time. Why would it quit now if the exhaust pipe were installed wrong? He said the plenum was also installed wrong, the unit was installed wrong; it's upright and should have been installed laying down, everything about it is wrong. I said this is how the last units were installed too; it's been this way for years. Why wouldn't previous installers have changed it if were all wrong? He said he'd call me the next day with a price to get everything fixed.

I talk to him the next day and he said he talked to his manager and that The unit just needs so much work that we're declining to do the job. I'm thinking to myself Well gee, ......can you recommend an hvac company that can come fix the furnace then? We have below freezing temperatures coming! I figured this was slang for We have so much business right now that we can make money a lot faster on simpler jobs. You'll just have to freeze for a while longer until you can get someone else to spend more time on it.

So I get a different company out today which is now SATURDAY. I'd been without heat for 7 days now, some of it below freezing temperatures! The guy found the problem in 15 minutes. I told him what TI Certified said about everything being installed wrong and the whole unit needing to be reinstalled differently and he just laughed. He said the furnace was installed fine. Might it have been installed differently? Yes but it's tomato, tomatoe. Different people have different preferences but it was installed fine. The plenum is fine. He said the exhaust pipe was technically installed wrong but that it's no crisis; the exhaust pipe is working as it is, though technically it should be changed and that it was not the reason for the unit not starting.

I live in a old house on the East side of Atlanta. Because its older, I always seem to have one sort of electrical issue or another cropping up. So, I looked around and had TE Certified come out and just go over everything. They scheduled me and said I would get a call 30 min before which meant I could stay close to home but not trapped in the house. As promised, they called about 30 minutes prior and came when they said they would. The inspection was very professional and Ben, the electrician, caught some safety issues I had no idea to even think about. For one, our grounding system was all wrong and for another a different company mis-wired our tankless unit. Doing the inspection really helped us get our arms around this old beast and we are now safe and sound. These guys are total pros and thats what You need when its your house and your kids! Pretty work! Strong recommend.

We called in later to see if we can get the follow up appointment and we were informed that since it was beyond one year since the installation, there would be a fee.

Exceptional service and Knowledgeable Technician!

Luis is a life saver. I scheduled a same day appointment to address an electrical issue the day before an inspection. It was a late day appointment which required Luis to trouble shoot the issue and rewire an outlet and two 3-way switches to resolve. The job lasted well after 5:00 PM but Luis completed it with a patience and friendly professionalism I rarely encounter. Luis is an extremely knowledgeable and professional technician and I will certainly ask for him again when the need arises.

Samantha answered the phone and her voice was so pleasant she sounded like the prerecorded female you get sometimes. She was very friendly and efficient, I was also happy to hear someone was available same day (and since I read the reviews I figured that maybe possible). She explained she couldn't give me a quote but the technician would come look at what needed to be done and quote me then, if we wanted everything done then they would start at that point. They have a two hour window they should arrive and call beforehand to let you know they are on their way. (From one reviewer I heard sometimes they come earlier if possible, which happened for me)

Another person called me 45mins-1hour later to ask if the technician could come earlier and the technician would call me when they were on the way. Kevin, the tech, called shortly there after and let me know he was on his way.

When Kevin arrived he was friendly and he had shoe covers! (Shoe covers are important in our house since we don't wear shoes inside) He was able to quote me pretty quickly, then was patient as he waited for me to talk it over with my spouse and came up with a couple price options for a project.

Another tech showed up to help the project go a little faster and one project needed two techs (convert can lighting to chandelier, install chandelier in high stairway, 3 ceiling fan installs). The parts that took the longest were putting the fans together and the install was the short part.

After the install he gave me the price, brought it up on the iPad, and I was able to pay through Square or something like it. Most of the services I have used ask for checks or do carbon copy, I prefer the instant payment.

I really liked them. They were efficient, friendly, and had great reviews. I doubt they are the cheapest option but I really appreciate everything else!

I do not write reviews often but have had BY FAR the best experience with a company than I have ever had before and could not stand not to give them an amazing review. If you are in need of an AC repair I could not recommend anyone more!

I am 9 months pregnant plus a day and our AC went out last night. After calling multiple companies, I got in contact with these guys. They were able to squeeze me in SAME DAY (not sure if it was pity for the pregnancy or if they are that amazing for everyone.) They called to let me know the time window for the service and were right on time. The service technician, Joey,was the nicest guy and was super-efficient. He reviewed all our issues and was able to quickly give us an estimate which didn't seem out of line for the issues we had.

The customer service, from the phone operator to the technician, was easily the best I have ever worked with. I hope I do not need to get our AC or heater repaired anytime soon but when I do, I will not hesitate to call them again. Could not recommend more!

Why I choose TE over Reliable... imagine it's memorial day weekend and your ac goes out. Now imagine you call two companies on Saturday night at 10pm - TE and Reliable - and leave a message that it's an emergency because you have boxes of hardwood flooring that have not been installed and will be damaged by the humidity. You note that when you spoke to the answering services they both said they will contact you at 9 AM tomorrow.

Now consider it's Sunday morning and you're very concerned. It's 9AM and you get the first call from TE. It's a manager who listens, offers advice, and says he can't promise, but he'll send a text to all their service reps to see who could make it and when.

Now consider while waiting to hear back from TE, you realize it's 9:30 and you have not yet heard from reliable so you call. The person you reach at reliable is different - removed and uninterested - and asks the scripted questions. Moreover, she says because you have an AC unit in the basement (which does nothing for our 80 boxes of wood upstairs) it's not an emergency. You explain and she has nothing to offer other than it's not an emergency and the earliest is Friday.

Meanwhile, after you pick up your phone you just threw in frustration you get a call back from TE who says we have someone in Woodstock who said they will come right over. He gets here. Replaces the capacitor and it's up and running in 15 minutes... any extra charge? Emergency or Sunday fee? Nope! Sunday on memorial day weekend and it's normal rates.

Guess what, this is the second time I've had this kind of experience with TE... and also the second time I've had the same experience with Reliable (which is why I called TE both times).

You can use Reliable, but I won't be giving Reliable another opportunity.

They cost a lot, but they do the job quickly, safely and professionally with polite attitudes. And, it's got a lifetime guarantee so if something goes wrong, they come and fix it.

He fixed over 10 outlets throughout the house and changed them over to GFI since they all kept tripping and rewired the box to meet code which I have no idea if that is a thing, but he did it same day within hours. It was kind of expensive for that part (~$100/ outlet with box included). He then put in two fans in bathrooms and wired them to separate switches from the lights for less than $300/ fan. That is reasonable since I had it done at another house for more $ from a place my rental company used. The other company installed a junk fan too.

This is fundamentally one of the very best companies I have ever had the opportunity to do business with. I cannot say enough about their courtesy, their timeliness, their communication, and their professionalism. Everything about my experience with them was above board. I had to replace my entire electrical panel, they did the job in time, at a great price, and with great integrity and detail (Kyle). Unfortunately, we had a bit of an issue with my HVAC system after the change and my AC stopped working on a hot July day. I called them at 10:30 PM on a Saturday night during a holiday weekend, somebody was there to answer the phone on the second ring, a very pleasant person (Jennifer). I explained what was going on, and Jennifer had a service manager (Russ) call me back within 20 minutes. We troubleshooted over the phone and we agree that we will talk in the morning. 7 AM the next morning Kyle texts me and says he can come first thing in the morning and he's here within an hour. Mind you this is Fourth of July holiday weekend. He comes out spends about an hour troubleshooting and we get everything fixed. This level of customer service, integrity, care, for the customer is almost nonexistent in this world today, but seemingly ingrained in the DNA of TE Certified Electric. This is literally one of the best experiences I have ever had with a company and I cannot recommend these folks enough.

Consumers beware. Had them at the house for an A/C problem. System needed a run capacitor. They charged
$229.00 for the capacitor itself. I bought one for back up, identical right down to the box, for 13.00 from Amazon. I can understand a reasonable markup, but 229.00 for a 13.00 part. They'll never hear from me again !!

We called TE to check out our panel. Turns out, our breakers are frying the metal, which calls for a whole new panel. Our technician first was friendly, but once I began mentioning talking to our home warranty company, he became impatient. When I was ready to call, he asked us if we were planning on going with them whether or not the warranty covered it, because if we weren't, then he didn't have time to sit on the phone for 15 minutes. He even said that he had other jobs to get to. I just found that rude... when originally scheduling an appointment, I asked the scheduler if they dealt with warranties and if the technician would talk to them on the phone. She assured me that they would. I would rather (and will) take my business elsewhere.

In the process of selling the house and the buyer wanted the HVAC system serviced prior to closing. I was given some recommendations by friends, but none of them even returned my calls. Went onto Yelp and found TE. They answered the phone right away and had me scheduled for for a few days later (this wasn't an emergency).

Corey was fantastic, super nice guy, and arrived a few minutes early. He even took the time to email me a separate report that I could send to the buyer detailing everything about the HVAC system.

Their rates were reasonable (not the cheapest, not the most expensive) and the service was great. I highly recommend TE.

SO CLOSE...

You know that moment when you are sitting on the bench and watching the basketball walk around the inside of that rim just knowing it is going in and then it suddenly pops out? Ugghh! Well, that just happened.

I was really impressed with TE: They were professional during the initial contact and scheduling of the appointment. The technician called when he was on his way and arrived on time, in uniform. He covered his shoes upon entering our home and went to work checking out our failed unit. My husband and I sat down with the technician who gave a great presentation and answered all of our questions. He left a folder with his business card. Cool!

When I go to my office, I notice that the estimate has been sent over but there is a problem. The one system that we stated we were ruling out because it was too basic, was the only one described in the estimate. I actually sent him an e-mail and followed up with a phone call for clarification. I think that he was trying to tell me that this was a standard practice and that the actual report would be sent over later. I do recall that he said that he would follow up on Wednesday but I just assumed that he meant in the event that I had not contacted him with my decision. Since our meeting was on a Friday, I didn't expect to wait until Wed of next week in order to receive my detailed estimate. I was really confused by this because every person I have worked with regardless of industry, has given me their estimate before leaving my home. I have never heard of a dummy estimate. What's the point of that?

Yes, I was ready to hire TE but they dropped the ball and in the meantime, the guy that I had decided to cancel because I thought I had found my company, really wanted an opportunity to give me an estimate so I relented and scheduled him for Monday morning. He came, gave a great presentation with very clear and concise visuals that left no question unanswered. BOOM! He got the job!

I really can't give TE less than three stars because there was so much I did like and appreciate about their approach to customer service. However, I simply have a different expectation when it comes to timely communication.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Don't procrastinate. If you want the job, perform accordingly.

1/15/2020 I wasn't going to respond to Josh's message but I had to because it is misleading. He is sharing generalized policy and procedures but I am speaking from actual experience. The process he described is unnecessary and cumbersome and might explain the tech's inability to close the sale, (bogged down by corporate protocol). Early on during MY discussion with the technician, I was very clear about what I wanted in no uncertain terms. I did not need three options since I made it clear that I wanted a specific unit, not the cheapest. I needed to have all the details in writing in order to set a date. If I am not dealing with the owner of the company, I need that contract in writing and it needs to spell out all of the items discussed, (upgrades, hoses needed to be replaced or re-directed, on-going service plan etc.) The technician was great, very thorough and spent approximately an hour answering all of our questions. Instead of explaining company policy, he simply blew it off and kept it moving. So did I.

I needed to have a chandelier fixed and/or totally replaced. After seeing other reviews of this company, I decided to give them a try, possibly change from the company I had been using for electrical repair needs. They made a good impression with me right from the start as they did not charge to come see what needs to be done and give me an estimate. That tells me that they are competitively priced with other companies and that they are confident in their experience and knowledge. I did however have the company I had been using also come to give me an estimate. When they told me the service charge just to come out, I said no. They decided to waive it since I had been a customer. Their estimate was only $2.00 less than TE. That would not influence me to go with them. What influenced me to go with TE is that the person who came out told me the chandelier could not be fixed, that it would have to be replaced as the exact socket that it needed would not be available. After doing my own research, I discovered that it is available from the manufacturer. So, although I decided to replace the chandelier, I decided to go with TE.
Chris Brown (who was also the electrician that came and gave me the estimate) was sent to do the job. Chris was very professional, knowledgeable and did a great job and quickly. He even took the time to make sure all the shades were straight and level. I highly recommend this company and Chris.

The good.....Very professional. Very knowledgeable, did solid work.

The bad....Ridiculously expensive, multiple attempts to upsell into larger and even separate jobs, constantly reciting code, code, code. It almost felt like a scare tactic. Make no mistake Codes are important. However they change over time for a whole host of reasons. Many make sense and just as many are BS. Make sure you get multiple quotes from other companies.

$114 for replace an existing outlet to GFCI
$65 to connect he wires to a dry outlet. I could go on....

We are in the process of completing some basement work and need recessed lighting installed, in addition to other odds and ins. I didn't hesitate to call my guy Wayne at TE to come out and give me a quote. I've used them in other occasions and have always had a fantastic experience with Wayne, so it was a no brainier who I was going to call with this, the largest project we have had to date. Quote was fair, the work looks fantastic and they are coming out to finish the work and complete some additional items for us as well. I will never call another electrical company! You can ask for Wayne, but the two apprentice electricians that helped him where also very good guys!

I bought a house with some flagged electrical issues, so I wanted to get that addressed before moving in. I can't say I was excited to learn that I needed a service upgrade, but my panel WAS a mess - wires everywhere, no space for additional breakers. When looking at before/after photos that people have shared, mine was a before. Plus, there were several other issues that Miguel noted when he came by to look at things, and I really wanted to avoid things burning down.

They were able to schedule me in for a couple days after the initial appointment. It was a two-day service due to the amount of work and GA Power's availability. Miguel and his partner took their time (in a good way!) to make sure the work was done carefully, test things out, and keep me updated throughout. We added on some requests while they were there, and they were accommodating to work those in.

Seeing everything that they did makes me feel so much safer in my home, and I'm very excited that things are less likely to burn down now.

I was very impressed with the work, and I will definitely request Miguel next time I need more electrical work!

Chase from TE handled our service call and arrived on top of the 3 hour time frame which worked out great for me. For electrical I have used these people several times, every time they have gotten a 10 out of 10, only because I can't give more. Office people are fantastic, communication is fantastic, service guys were all fantastic too. Explain the work they're going to do thoroughly, quote the price and then complete the work perfectly.
Use these guys with confidence, all will be well.

I tried the HVAC division of the company and it didn't go very well at all, never used them just met with sales person, HVAC doesn't appear to use the same business model, it was more like buying a used car, didn't get the same warm and fuzzy, your experiences may differ.

Couldn't say enough about TE Certified. Ryan picked up the call and sent his master plumber Jesse Rodgers to pick up our emergency at 8:30pm. Jesse found the issue, stopped our water leak, and fixed everything within a couple hours. Jesse went the extra mile to show me exactly where it was leaking and made me very comfortable during the entire process. Jesse even grabbed a broom and swept every crumb from the very minor mess that was made. Definitely would recommend Jesse and his team to anyone!

Licensed and insured electricians who did a great job at a very reasonable price. I contacted TE Electricians for two separate jobs, installing a new electric cooktop and installing/wiring new Ring Security Camera Flood Lights, at my rental properties. When my AC started running more sluggishly than normal, I hoped it would be a simple fix. However, in the back of my mind, I suspected that my ancient, rebuilt system would need to be replaced. I did some research to find a reliable company. TE Certified's yelp certificate got my attention, but the reviews were what really drew me in (found similar reviews on Google and BBB site).

From diagnosis, to the quote, and all the way through installation of an all new HVAC system, these folks were amazing! They were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I felt perfectly comfortable having them in my home. (That has not always been my experience with servicemen.)

It's so nice to know that they also do electrical and plumbing. Next time I need service, I won't have to do the research. I already have the number of a company I can trust!

Jonathan Vega is a top notch human being. He is as hard working as he is honest. After sitting down with him for a discussion about our needs and his honest evaluation of our current situation I knew we had found our electrician! Our HVAC stopped working completely. I texted TE in the afternoon about my issue and they responded right away offering me an appointment time for the next day. Absolute perfect timing since the day it happened was breezy and not hot. The window of arrival was between 8:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. I received a call from the office at 7:45 A.M. letting me know that they we sending me a text with the technician's name and picture and verifying the time window. Dalton Cooper was my assigned technician and he called me about 30 minutes later to say he would call again when he was closer to my home address with an estimated arrival time. I forgot to mention that Bekah (the office coordinator) sent me an app software that maps the technician's route and time progress. I loved it.
Dalton arrived on time, inspected the HVAC unit both out side and inside and also the two thermostats. After he was finished he came in and explained what he found out and offered his opinion that if the same thing was to happen again it would most likely mean the thermostats needed to be changed. He said he found no fault with the unit itself and everything was working as it should. He also explained how to properly read and use the present ones we have. He was thorough, professional and personable.
Presently our HVAC unit is working smoothly and cooling as it should. I highly recommend TE HVAC Repairs. You will get happy results.

I called TE Electric after I had been left with an non-functioning kitchen after I was the unfortunate victim of a non-licensed contractor. Dan Smallwood came out and he was the answer to my prayers. I contacted several other electrical companies and independent electricians. Either they didn't want to do the work with a permit, or they quoted me a price of over $7,000 or they quoted me a price of $1,200 and seemed to leave off a lot of items I felt would end up being important once the inspector came out (and the statement made by one, I don't do so well with plaster walls. I usually just use a hammer so you will have to patch it all up when I am done was NOT something that instilled in me a lot of confidence.)

Ultimately, Dan won my business because he presented himself as honest, knowledgeable, and hard working. He helped me to understand what was a requirement to remodel my kitchen and what was a you could do this but it will cost you $$. The $149.00 whole house inspection was worth it.

In the end, I had him do some additional electrical work that went beyond the scope of the kitchen because his prices were reasonable and, he was here ! Anyone who has ever lived in a 2 prong outlet home knows that it is now a 3 prong world ! Having at least one 3 prong outlet in the living room and master bedroom was something that was really worth the little extra money.

In the end, my kitchen remodel included reworking my panel (not replacing it like others had insisted I had to do), adding in GFI/ARC fault breakers, rewiring my kitchen so it was up to code, installing the electric for the dishwashers, garbage disposal, range hood, under cabinet lights, ceiling light, timers and undoing the dangerous/non-code compliant work previously done. The work required Dan and Blaine (as helper) and lasted a full two days with a third day just to wait for the electrical inspector. And, we passed with flying colors !

The inspector was so impressed with the work done and, when Dan was not around, told me the work I received was excellent, honest, and would make sure my home and family can sleep safely at night. He warned me about unlicensed contractors and not having work permitted. I very much enjoyed meeting the inspector and am grateful I had a second set of eyes to make sure my family will be safe.

If you need electrical work, always ask if it needs to be permitted. The inspector told me about the county website where I can go look up things myself but I also had asked each electrician ,does this need to be permitted? Every one of them, EXCEPT DAN SMALLWOOD, said Yes, but you don't want to permit it because it will be more work, cost you more, the inspector will require this/that... In the end, the inspector didn't want anything more than what Dan Smallwood said was going to be needed. The cost was the same or less as what the non-permitted jobs would have been, and now I have a fully permitted kitchen, updated electrical panel, and some 3 prong outlets, all of which will add to the resale value of my home and the quality of life of my family.

And on a personal note, Dan was in the middle of moving his own family to a new home. Even though he had all the pressures of buying a new home and moving his own family, including not having water for a long weekend, he never let it interfere with the job he was doing in my home. That is the sign of a true professional. Thank you Dan, I appreciate all of the hard work.

Good company - only suggestion is that can quote quickly often higher than other quotes. Can lead to wasted time. Have been competitive on some jobs and used them, solid work. Just GE more contientious on quoting at market rates or slightly higher would be ok, otherwise can feel like a waste of everyone's time. Valuable company though and founder is very straightforward and caring about his business

Had a tech out to handle our failed AC. He drove like 100 miles round trip grabbing us parts over the course of the afternoon and solved the problem.

Friendly, experienced HVAC tech who was mindful of our clean home. Was clear about what broke in the system, and offered us a twice yearly HVAC check up/discount membership that paid for itself with what it took off of the parts bill.

I am a computer person and not super useful with home maintenance so it is nice to know they'll come clean things out for ~$150/yr.

I had two electrical issues. Our outside flood lights around the house went out, and the electrical outlets in our family room started failing, and eventually all of them (6) failed. I called TE Certified Electricians based on my Best Pick Reports book, and the large number of 5 star ratings given, as well as the write up. They arrived promptly as scheduled. Their electrician, Hayden, did a thorough inspection of the electric panel and the outlets in my family room. The causes were identified. A power surge had knocked out all of the flood lights. My house is 48 years old and the outlets had started failing.He put a plan together for what needed to be done. The costs were reasonable for what needed to be done. I agreed and he called in a helper to get the job done the same day. I had all the outlets and light switches replaced in the family room, kitchen and dining room done. I upgraded to quad outlets in some areas. I got 10 LED flood lights installed that will last for 40 years and had a whole house surge protector installed and one circuit breaker upgraded to a 50 amp circuit to provide enough amperage for my new 3 1/2 ton central air unit. All of this work was completed the same day. Hayden explained everything in detail and made sure I was completely satisfied before I signed the payment form. I would certainly recommend TE Certified Electricians to anyone looking for service, and also highly recommend Hayden for his outstanding skills and customer service. They have become my one and only electrician service from now on.

We had a trash compactor that had stopped running. They came the very next morning and fixed it. Tristan was amazing and showed me how to get it to work again next time it stops spinning.

They refused to take money for the service, it was a courtesy service. I've never had a plumber do work and not charge me, such incredible service! I will be using TE Certified for all my plumbing and electrical, so glad we found our guys (we just moved into our new house).

I needed an electrician quickly to come out to a house where the mast had been knocked over on the roof by a limb falling on the power lines. I sent a request to TE and within half an hour, I had a message saying someone could come out today. I've used TE for several years and have been mostly successful. Although I've found them to be more expensive they've been very professional until my last experience. The technician miss quoted and couldn't honor the quote. He was summarily dismissed and I put a partial stop payment on the order to get some satisfaction. After 2 calls and a month, we were able to to come to agreement. I found interaction fair and cordial, but will not use them again. They seem to have taken their eye off the customer service ball which is highly valued by me.

This was the only company who responded right away and was available to work on our AC immediately. We tried several recommended contractors who either didn't call me back or didn't show up during their scheduled time. For example, supposed to come between 2-6pm, but showed up at 8:30pm as my family was heading to sleep.

Our technician was on time and we were able to track his route through text.
We enjoyed our experience so much that we even signed up with their HVAC maintenance plan. I will definitely use TE Certified again. They also do electrical work!

We had TE Electricians out to install a whole house surge protector. Setting the appointment was very easy. And they were willing to give a general quote by email before sending someone out for a visit since it was a standard service. Not a technical problem. I really appreciated that because most places won't offer prices until you let someone come to your home. I don't like wasting other people's time. So finding out we could afford their services before a visit was very important to us. We also had a $50 off coupon we could use that they honored. The tech, Kyle, was on time and called on his way over. He was at our house for just under one hour and the job was done. Very nice, professional. Would highly recommend their services. I had a great experience with Joey. . I recently moved to a new place, and almost every single company that has come to provide services had sent employees who didn't show much enthusiasm for their work. Not TE. Joey was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me how a furnace works, so I could know how to properly use it and what parts needed more care and maintenance. He explained everything gladly and kindly and with a lovely attitude.
Also, there was an enigma of sorts with the vents. Some of the vents were blowing out cold air and some hot air. Joey worked like a detective trying to figure out this riddle. It turned out the previous owners had shut off one of the ducts and redirected it to another room but left the vent. The vent was like a scarecrow of vents, except only cold air was coming out of it. Thanks to Joey I was able to figure out this enigma. He cleaned up the furnace and even picked up a cockroach that was near the attic and put it in the trash, which is something that obviously was not in his job description, but still, it showed me his solicitousness and his desire to go above and beyond my expectations. If you want great service, kindness, and great results, this is the company to call!

I scheduled an appointment for Saturday afternoon for an EV charging station to be installed in the garage. I received a call 30 minutes prior to scheduled arrival time as promised. Look, they're not super cheap but they deliver. Previously I was working with another company doing my HVAC. Went back and forth at least 3-4 times, told me my desired solution wasn't possible, and offered inconvenient solutions as alternatives. All while playing phone tag with appointments. What a mess.

TE guys come out, everything is done within a week. Everything works exactly as expected, exactly as desired.

Was it cheap? Not exactly. Did what you pay for is getting the job done, perfectly. So that makes it a fair price. Convenience, timeliness, professionalism, quality work is not something you get for free, and for tough problems, I'll definitely be back.

Scheduled an appointment to have a Tesla wall charger installed. Received a call days before my appointment asking to reschedule because they had multiple emergencies one day. Since I was not in a rush, I decided to reschedule and they offered me a $100 credit. On the day of my appointment, the installer showed up on time and communicated his ETA well before he arrived. His inspection was thorough and he provided me with a quote on the spot. We discussed a lower quote I had received and he was able to knock off a little bit more off the price. Once we agreed upon a price, he was able to install the charger within 2 to 3 hours. I received quick follow up about getting my inspection with the city along with a $5 Starbucks gift card in the mail. Any future needs I will definitely think of TE certified in the future.

I needed an electrician to come check out my fuse box and change out a fuse for me to the proper amp level. Like many I went to Yelp and google reviews. I settled on TE Electricians. I was paired with Kyle and he was awesome. Kyle called 30 minutes before arriving and when he arrived he was very kind and courteous and following all COVID protocol. Even had slippers to put over his shoes while in the house! For the work not only did he explain to me what he was doing, he took the time to walk me through the whys behind everything. It was great! He also found something in my fuse box that was missed during my inspection and was able to fix that on the spot as well. One hour later everything was up to par and working fine. Technician was great, timely, good price compared to others. I have to deduct a star because my case was dropped through the cracks. An inspection was needed afterwards and no one contacted me. I told the technician that he had my email wrong and he said he would update it at the office. He did not. I emailed him after 2 weeks no one had contacted me about the inspection and he said some one would contact me. Another week went by and I sent a message to the company and their response was that they had emailed me. They just didn't do a good job with follow up.

I wanted to replace my dining room light, so I scheduled for an estimate, and was able to get two technicians out earlier than my request time! Scott and Steven came out and gave me a fair price for the replacement. Scott also gave me estimates on some other projects I wanted to do, and offered me ideas and suggestions for them as well!
The two of them quickly installed my replacement light and also disposed of the old fixture for me. I also really liked that they wore bags on their shoes and laid down some plastic to keep things clean.

Overall really awesome service, and will definitely be giving TE Certified a call again.

We lost power at our house. After confirming it was just us and not the whole neighborhood, we went to the breaker box. It felt extremely hot to the touch. I looked on yelp and allied the top 3 electricians. TE answered my call immediately and after telling them the situation, they sent someone out immediately. Less than two hours later, Joaquin arrived. He was very professional and polite. He explained what he found and discussed two options. We decided to go with a full panel replacement. He had everything he needed and got to work immediately. Someone came out to help him label the whole thing. Altogether they were here almost 3.5 hours and did everything. I did not compare pricing around, since we had the urgency, but I felt it was fair amount. We would highly recommend Joaquin and TE electricians and will call them again if we have the need.

We have had an amazing experience working with TE Certified for a plumping job. The process was very organized and high quality from the beginning to end. We needed a totally new pluming for a hose in our deck (not a usual job :)). We contacted TE last week, and they scheduled a visit for us on a day of our choice. A technician, named Chris, arrived on time, did the walk through, gave us an estimate, and completed the job on the same day. He and his assistant did an amazing job; they completed the work exactly as we envisioned, hassle-free and clean. I highly recommend this company and especially Chris for pluming jobs. As mentioned in other reviews, in terms of pricing, they are not the cheapest, but you get high quality work, which makes it worthwhile.

We hired TE to install two sconces in our home office. Communication and scheduling was a breeze, and our technician, Chris, arrived as-scheduled. The project quote was very competitive. The job itself ended up being more complicated than we had anticipated, but Chris communicated our options clearly, and was diligent in trying to be the least disruptive to add the switch and run the wire. He ended up having to cut a fair amount of drywall, but replaced and patched it, and made our post-install repair process seamless. Even though the job took longer than planned and was more complex, we paid the original amount quoted. Overall- the team is professional, courteous, and skilled. Highly recommend and will be supporting them in the future.

My HVAC unit broke down in the summer when we were having several straight days of 90+ degree weather, and TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling saved me. The first company I contacted had a one and half week lead time! My house had been sweltering for a couple nights already, and I really needed to get this fixed. Luckily, TE was able to come out the same day.

Joey called me about an hour before he was expected to arrive and arrived earlier than my estimated appointment window. He got to the root of the problem quickly and had my AC back to normal in a couple hours. I thought the pricing was reasonable (maybe higher than some), but it was worth the price given that they could come out to my home the same day and deliver quality service. I also purchased a Yelp deal so that helped. I would definitely recommend TE to others for their HVAC needs.

Eric Turner with TE is a true professional who knows his craft! Exactly 7 days into living in our new home and water starts leaking from the ceiling! Being new to the area, we went with the highest rated service we could find and I can tell you that the reviews are NOT overexaggerated! I called TE Certified because the lights in my guest bathroom would not come on. I've had electrical issues in my house but this one just took the cake. After searching on yelp (of course), I came across TE Certified Electricians.

My technician was Russ. He was very nice and professional. He arrived at the time he promised and quickly came in and inspected my problem and got to work. He thoroughly explained the issue and fixed it. The price was very reasonable.

I will request him again if I need something done because unfortunately, there are other electrical issues in my house. But Russ' wonderful attitude kind of takes away the sting of the price I will have to pay for all of that.

Ridiculously EXPENSIVE! $59.00 for a 1.95 single pole switch that took 4 minutes to install??? If you want to get ripped off, call these people. On top of everything else, more electrical problems arose just AFTER the tech came out. When I called to request warranty work, the tech told me he didn't cause the problems. So did gremlins just secretly cause new problems in my house just after he left? Me think not. Oh sure he offered to fix the new problems but that would be hundreds of more dollars. Certified? Sure. Certified to rip you off.

My overall experience wasn't as good as I thought it would be being that we paid a couple of thousand having electrical work done. The tech was professional however he didn't advised us on exactly where the wall sockets would be installed. Once the job was complete we noticed that the technician placed 5 wall sockets in 1 room, 4 sockets in another room and only 1 wall socket in another room. My advice is that the customer be sure to tell the technician exactly how many wall sockets you would like installed per room, otherwise he (technician) more likely will install where he wants. We were advised that it would cost us an additional $200 to install 2 more wall sockets in the room where the technician placed only 1 wall socket. I was highly disappointed in the fact that it would cost even more money & didn't move forward. I'm not sure exactly why the technician thought that we only needed 1 socket installed in such a large room!!

My wife and I bought a house about a month ago in Alpharetta Georgia. Even though we had our home inspected prior to purchasing it, after we moved in, We noticed that there were several electrical issues in the basement so we called Adam Stanton of TE electrical to do a top down electrical review of our new home.

After we discussed our initial findings with him, Adam went about his work quietly and thoroughly.

Adam repaired all of the problems in the two electrical panels. He also diagnosed and repaired all of the numerous electrical outlets that were not working throughout the basement. In addition he added surge protectors to each of the two electrical panels. He also installed the wired (not plugged in) smoke alarm in the basement. We couldn't be happier with the great job that he did for our new home.

A word of caution is that you may find their rates are higher than electricians. It would probably be best to get a written estimate from them and then do some price comparisons with other high quality electricians before getting the work done.

I scheduled my service just before midnight the night before, and they were able to schedule me in the very next morning, and it wasn't even an emergency. The technician was a great guy, and did not try to upsell me at all. He showed me what was wrong with my AC unit, and even showed me how to (carefully) do preventative cleaning on it to prevent further issues in the future. He also suggested that I shut off the AC unit while mowing the lawn, to prevent more debris from clogging it up.

We experienced wonderful service all around with TE. Their customer service is over the top great. There was a slight mixup on the day of service that I was expecting, which was possibly my mistake; but their customer service team was wonderful (I think Alicia was the first person I spoke with) and still managed to get an electrician out that day. Kevin was awesome; super knowledgeable, very professional, and also patient and kind enough to walk me through everything he was doing. Kevin sharing with me what he was doing throughout was especially great as one of the two different issues he solved was from my mistake of putting in a 3 way switch where a 4 way was needed. Very enlightening to listen to and learn from him, much appreciated!! Additionally...the pricing is very fair and beats a nearby competitor that I had over 2 days prior hands down, base diagnostic was literally half the cost. I would give 6 stars if I could.

TE Certified certainly understands their business model - focus on well-off northern suburbs and pursue a strategy of sky-high fixed price services that push hourly rate close to $1000 an hour. And the final piece - all the reviews online are driven by their offer of Starbucks gift card (the ones that are not fake).

Case and point - had them come out to install a refrigerator ice line. In the end, worked out to be $1500 for a few hours of work. For example, they found a new service to replace the pressure regulator ($60 part, plus maybe 2 fittings worth $5 each), the list charge is $850+. It takes approximately 15 minutes at best to turn off water, cut the pipe (1 minute with tubing cutter), and propress the new pressure regulator with copper fittings (maybe 10 minutes?). So the hourly rate works out to be $1000+... who knew I should have become a plumber?

Of course installing refrigerator ice line is another $800...the beauty of fixed price services. They also added a leakfinder service, even though I did not complain about leaks.

To make matters worse, their plumber kept ranting about politics, first by asking me Do you know who Rush Limbaugh is? Yeah buddy, I never heard of him. Of course then the plumber goes on a massive rant about liberals, stolen election, etc. I obviously tried to deescalate and say I don't do politics, as you don't want revenge from the guy fixing your pipes. That is when he was not on his phone, I assume reading rants from the Rush himself.

I found TE Certified for repairing the cooling problem, and although the problem can't solve (the AC is surprisingly 20 y/o), I feel so glad that I found the service that made me fully trust. My fiancé and I have used TE for a variety of plumbing/electrical issues/requests since early 2021, but the best experience I had with them was with a replacement HVAC unit.

We were really worried about getting a new HVAC unit installed because we have parrots in the home, and we knew that any fumes emitted with the installation of a new unit, while safe for humans, would most likely kill our birds. After doing a lot of research, we found that we needed to get the unit burned off before running it for the first time.

When I first requested this from TE, they said that that's not something that they do, so I told them I would have to look for an HVAC installation from another company. However, this is when Brent stepped in and went above and beyond. He looked for different solutions to try to make the installation work for us, and after a few calls back and forth, he told me that, even though it had not been done before, he would burn off the unit to ensure safe installation in our home.

Not only did Brent promise me something completely custom that had not yet been done at the company, he also was communicative, stayed in touch, and sent me a video update of the unit being burned off, just to ease my mind.

Installation was standard, and everything went well, but because of Brent doing this for us, we only needed to keep our birds out of the house for a few days vs more than a week.

Absolutely stellar customer service! The experience I had with Brent was one of the few that will always stick out in my mind, and I'm beyond grateful that I had the pleasure of working with someone so nice and with so much ingenuity.

While TE can be slightly expensive imo, they are well worth the price. Cannot recommend this company more!

I am not sure why I did not leave a review before, but since I am looking for hvac work again I am going to leave a review on why I will not go with this company again.

About 4 years ago, I scheduled an ac repair appointment with TE based on the high yelp ratings. After some troubleshooting, I was told I have a leak and a weak start run cap. I either need to replace the whole system or pump the system with more refrigerant. Technician informed me that finding a leak is a lot of work and will end up costing a lot with no guarantee the leak will be found. I was charged close to $500 for 3lb of refrigerant and replacing a start run capacitor.

I was happy for maybe a week then ac broke again. TE cited unit age and said they provide no warranty for their work, so I went with another contractor. He found that the $220 start cap replacement TE provided went bad already and helped me order one for $15. Additionally, he actually found the leak in my evap coil in under an hour and advised me to replace it. With the cap replacement, refrigerant flush, new evap coil, plus the labor, it came out to be not much more than what I paid TE to get me a working ac for a week. Actually cheaper if you take out the cost for evap coil itself. Let that sink in. TE charged me more and provided me less service and parts which are all rendered useless within a week.

There are only 2 reasons this review is not one star. First, it is a great life lesson that taught me no matter how highly rated or how many people have a good experience, never, ever trust random online reviews without doing your due diligence. Second, the technician gave me some good insight to contractor mentality as far as how they charge and troubleshoot so I can avoid this pit trap in the future. I would advise anyone to do some basic youtube and hvac troubleshooting before calling these guys or just go with someone else. You might be saving yourself hundreds of dollars!

Felt compelled to rate this company since I selected them mainly because of their Yelp rating.

TE Certified Electricians were outstanding. They gave me the lowest priced quote on Carrier equipment, came for the installation exactly when scheduled, brought a very capable and polite crew, installed two units in two days, did an excellent cleanup and left, billing me exactly what they quoted. Even though they installed two units we hardly knew they were around. Additionally they ran extra duct work which they did not charge for. Always scary to have something major like this done, but I can't imagine how it could have gone any better. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a neighbor.

I was pleasantly surprised from the start. I got a call 30 mins before Jaime arrived. He arrived a in professional and clean vehicle. He was pleasant, professional and wearing a uniform. I haven't always felt comfortable having people in my home but I instantly felt I was in good hands.

Jaime was friendly and took time to explain options to me. He gave me a quote that was actually lower than a competitor. Even better he was able to start the work immediately, completed it quickly, and the end result looked great. He could even take a credit card.

I had no idea it could be this easy to have electrical work done.

Guys, I had been dreading getting this service done. Did not want to deal with someone charging me a million dollars, to show up late and take forever.

Ok . Tried out TE HVAC yesterday and was pleased on the service but system broke that evening which was same problem of system blowing a fuse . TWO technicians showed up for four hours and fixed the problem!!

Justin and Clay did a fantastic job on my long list of electrical needs. They installed 5 light fixtures, added 2 outlets, replaced a couple of switches, added a dimmer switch and tightened down some loose outlets. I absolutely without hesitation Give them the highest recommendation possible. I was looking to get an tankless water heater and when the technician came out, he outlined the reasons why it wouldn't work for my situation and then proceeded to show me that my water heater was in fact fatally flawed and needed to be replaced. The technicians are very personable and they will not sell your products and services you do not need. I also had an electrician come out to take a look at my breaker box as it's over 40 years old. I was worried I have to replace The whole thing but he said no it was perfectly fine but did point out a couple problems within the box and probably fix them and we had a whole hOuse surge protector. Quality and integrity!!!! I WILL NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE!!!

I had a few small tasks that I needed help with- troubleshooting a fixture that didn't work and installing a ceiling fan. William was prompt, efficient and very friendly. This company deserves all 5 of my stars. The electrician, Johnathan, came by last month to install a chandelier in my master bathroom. He arrived early, and was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I couldn't install it above the tub like I planned (my calculations beforehand to make sure the distance from the tub would follow code just barely missed it), so we found an alternate spot on the ceiling that worked. He even replaced 2 recessed lighting fixtures that haven't been used in years. He was well prepared with what he needed in his truck (so my worries about any delays and need to reschedule were relieved).
After installation, he did an inspection of the electrical box in the garage, and did find some problems, which he thoroughly explained.
In the end, the chandelier now hangs beautifully in my bathroom, and thanks to the recessed lights, the room is lighted like never before. Everything was done in a timely manner, so that I was able to enjoy the rest of my day.

What a wonderful experience! Customer service was fantastic in every aspect from initial contact, to assessment, to work being conducted and even to after work follow-up.

We needed a complete upgrade of our electrical box, which they estimated as taking about 4 hours. While the job took longer than estimated, it was understandable due to the chaos of our old box. Our tech, Kevin, was personable and professional and now we can feel much better about our electrical set up!

We have a few more small jobs to get done and will definitely schedule with Thrasher Electric again.

I've used a number of HVAC services over the last 30 years, TE Certified is the best. I called them late on a Friday night and they had a service tech at my house the next day. I knew that my system needed replacing but they made an attempt to get it working.
When I told them to replace it, they sent another sales tech on Monday. He provided me with four system replacements, after explaining the differences, I chose one. The price was reasonable and they installed it in three days.
No hidden costs and extremely professional.

Certainly not the most expensive, but we had to have a recall for a motion detector light that had been installed incorrectly and asked for a quote on a single power receptical.

The technician seems very competent however we wanted to have a power receptacle replaced with a standard two receptacle jack from a single receptacle outlet and were quoted $150

The part alone is three dollars.??? The lever involved in that would have been about five minutes.

Unfortunately we had to seek out another vendor to add additional sub panel to our home after that quote for a existing power outlet change .

It appears all the chain electricians have higher prices than independent ones. Replacing a single outlet should never cost $150 especially when there's no additional junction boxes involved.

I needed to have an ugly fluorescent box light (with a frame of decorative molding around it) replaced with a track light. Joaquin arrived early (they called to see if I wanted an earlier time) and was very professional and efficient.

I had been warned ahead of time that they could not repair any damage to the drywall due to the previous light fixture, but Joaquin was so careful in removing the molding from the ceiling that there's a minimum of cosmetic touch up, and that I can easily do myself.

He was tidy and careful to pick up any debris that fell onto the floor, which I really appreciate.

This is my second experience with them, and I've been happy both times. They've established themselves as my go-to electricians.

The only company I will use going forward. Best quote out of four companies called out for a plumbing issue. Responsive, professional, communicative even sending photos of who would be coming out and allowing you to track how far away they are.

They cleaned up perfectly after they were finished digging up my lawn. Ben and Carter went above and beyond. When they had to go to Home Depot to pick up supplies they even picked up a battery for my garage door opener as I mentioned it was not working. They also picked up pine straw to replace what they had dug up after the job is complete!Now, that is service!

I have been a TE client for two years and have had regular maintenance with them during this time. I recently had zoning set up for our old split level house to get the upstairs more comfortable. I stumbled my way to TE via online searching and was immediately impressed with the lady that answered the phone. The tech was scheduled and came out right on time. Jordan was extremely professional and did a fantastic job. He also alerted me to an issue with my grounds in the electrical panel. He offered to fix it but assured me it was not a must, just a recommendation. I took his recommendation and the work he did was great. I would highly, highly recommend using them for all electrical projects and Jordon was also helpful in telling me about other services they offer, as well as how they could accomplish them for me. I think they are responsive and able to provide service quickly however I was not aware that estimate cost is $150 to just diagnose the problem. $430 to close the drain pipe that was connected to dishwasher and connecting drain to garbage disposer total was $430. I didn't get another estimate from different company but seems over price for what the fix is. I wish they told me before how much the estimate would cost and also they won't apply the estimate to the repair either

I have to review T&E again! All these technicians are seriously top notch!
I am big on reviewing when things are good and when things are bad! Made an appointment with TE to have my AC unit replaced and I am writing this review one month later after the install to let everyone know the high rated reviews on yelp are absolutely true. Called TE to make an appointment due to their high reviews and few recommendations from friends and neighbors and I was not disappointed. They were on-time and called several times to confirm the appointment and once they arrived they were very professional and knowledgeable about my needs and explained all that had to be done to get my cold air running again. City Inspector came by week later to confirm the installation was done correctly and my system has been running flawlessly ever since. I would use TE again for any home repair need from now on and will recommend them to anyone who has HVAC, Plumbing or electrical repairs or installs. It's been a while since I had this type of quality service from a company and its good to know company like TE still exist who seems to take pride in the skillset and treat customers with respect. We had a shower/bathtub that was leaking into the bathroom underneath, and had previously had another technician from another company out to fix it. It didn't end up getting fixed. We had to find a different company to get the job done, and we're so glad we went with TE!

Evan came in, addressed the issue, and walked us through the process of testing and repairing. He explained it in terms that I could understand and kept us informed the whole way.

So, the good is that they came pretty quickly, they wore masks and footies to protect my floors and they were polite. The bad is that they told me I needed a new pressure valve, and quoted me $529. I didn't know what else to do so I said okay and they went to their truck to get it. In the interim, I googled the price and found it should be around $350. I looked on Yelp, and called another reputable place and asked what he would charge me without giving info on what they were going to charge, and indeed he said it will cost me $350. So they come back in and I told them never mind. I'm not going to pay almost $200 more for the same thing, and their jaws dropped. They said they would see what they could do, and miraculously came back at $350. They said they would price match. So later I see they offer $48 for $100 and I wanted to use this discount. The woman I spoke to said no problem, just tell the guys when they come back, because after fixing it, I noticed the toilet seemed to be running longer than usual. They came and told my boyfriend they have no clue about that and I had to call billing. So I call some woman there, and she said they never should have price matched without me proving the estimate of $350, and to get the discount, I needed to prove this amount. So I embarrassingly reached out to the guy that I said never mind to, and he was actually kind enough to write me a quote and email to me, so I sent to her, and then she said oh we can't give you that discount, because you already got one with the $350, and this person doesn't have workers compensation so if he gets injured at your home, you are responsible. So why the hell did you have me reach out and go through all that nonsense? And then she offered me 5% discount on a future project. REALLY?! I would not give them one more cent or my time. Make sure you compare prices guys, because they are clearly in the business of trying to rip off people.

Excellence across the board! My HVAC unit broke down during the height of summer. I could barely get companies to call me back. This company called me back within one hour on a Sunday. The tech talked me through troubleshooting options. I still needed a tech to come out so they were able to fit me in on the schedule on the very next day. I don't know that I have the words in my vocabulary to praise these guys enough. Earlier this year I used them to install 2 electrical outlets in my garage. Jeremy did an awesome job then. I remembered how great he was and that he mentioned they also service HVAC systems.

So last Monday when my AC stopped working, they were the first ones I called. Unfortunately, due to the high heat, their schedules were packed. The soonest they could get out was Saturday. I went ahead and booked the appointment but continued to call around to see if I could get anyone out sooner. Had it been just me in the house, I would have waited. But I have an older cat and couldn't imagine leaving him in a 90 degree house all day.

I was referred to Pruitt by Arcadia as someone who could probably get out sooner. Well they did. They came out on Thursday, charged my freon, charged me an arm and a leg and now this Tuesday, my AC stopped working again. It was an awful experience that I won't get into here...just check my review for Pruitt and you'll see what I mean.

I immediately called TE and booked the next appointment which was for Friday. They are well worth the wait. Joey called me 30 minutes before his arrival and let me know he would have a colleague with him, Brent.
Joey arrived first and immediately put orange booties on. My floor is a little messy thanks to the cat so I told him he didn't need them. No matter how many times I told them, they never once did it. Booties went on before stepping in the house and came off the moment they stepped out.

These guys spent several hours troubleshooting my system. Unfortunately the parts needed to fully repair it aren't in stock. So they replaced what they could and put a band-aid in place for the other part until they could fix it. Joey also gave me his card and offered to come back out if it gets warm again and he'll go in the attic and vacuum out the water so that way the system would kick back on until the part comes in. Joey also took pictures of all the issues in the attic and was able to actually show me what was wrong without the need for me to climb into the attic and insulation.

They communicated well, gave me some breaks financially where they could, and spent extra time with me to explain my options on replacing my system. I don't have to replace it and that's not what they were advising me to do. They weren't pushing or anything like that at all. They were very informative and super friendly and helpful. I asked for information on upgrading my system since I knew what I have is bottom of the line, builder grade.

If any of you reading this are in the market to replace your HVAC system...don't go anywhere else...They may be a little more expensive, but I guarantee, you will not be disappointed. Not only is the service great, but get this...If you install a new system, the tech who installs it will be the tech who services it every time and you get a 2 year free maintenance package...How awesome is that!?!? He will already know my system AND it helps build and keep customer relationships. What an awesome business model!

By the way....the ladies in the office are pretty awesome too!

Had TE quote 5 items related to a home inspection as part of a sale. The short of it is the technicians were either poorly trained or extremely dishonest.

Across the board the TE quote was significantly higher and involved more expansive repairs than what we received from the other two companies on all 5 items. The degree higher was 2-3x.

On top of being more expensive, the technician told me that I had aluminum wiring and that the entire house needed to be re-wired (I did not have aluminum wiring as confirmed by 2 other Certified Electricians).

Their total estimate to remedy every item on the inspection report was a laughable $24,200.

The other two quotes from reputable and certified electricians were under $1,000.

Would not recommend.

I was it satisfied with the pricing or the way the appointment was handled. The tech was very nice, but he made it sound like a simple problem was huge and gave me three options from 270-2000 dollars to fix it. Ehrlich electric came out and fixed it in less than an hour for 265!

Our hot water heater was leaking and I called to see about getting help. The nice lady who took my call scheduled me an appointment the same day. The plumber Chris was early which was so great because it was a bad leak. After we accepted the quote he got started right away. He did an excellent Job! I was very impressed! They really seem to care about what they do. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely use again!

TE did a wonderful electrical job for us at a reasonable price, here in Marietta, GA. Super happy with Clay and Jeffery who performed the work, Clay was honest, very patient, answered all questions, very nice experience throughout. I highly recommend and will be using TE again for any service needs for sure. We The work they did was to install two grounding rods since our copper piping was changed to Pex (not by TE). Clay explained all the options at various price points and was happy to do whichever way made sense. After he completed the work, which was a pretty tough job due to running ground wire through our basement to the outside, he went through things we should think about for the future since our house and electrical panel is 40 years old. He told me exactly what I expected, he was honest. I could have waited to do the work, but decided to have it done now. He came back the next morning, he had the new panel installed and up and running in about 4.5 hours. The wiring looks fantastic and we know have way more capacity to add new breakers, our old panel was full and also no longer in code. Price was very fair, I had other estimates and quality of work by Clay and Jefferey was top notch!

just wanted to get a c-wire installed so i can install a next. guy comes over and is surprised when i dont already have the wiring kit he is expecting me to have for some reason. he looks at the wiring and cant figure it out and pulls out the wiring for the existing thermostat. after a few hours of scratching his head he says it cant be done and tries to leave with my exisiting thermostat disassembled on the table and the wiring pulled out from the wall. i said umm can you put my old one back please, and he was surprised, thought it didnt work for some reason. spends another hour and a half trying and failing to rewire what he broke. i was then able to do it correctly because i had taken a picture of the wiring a year ago when i first attempted to install a nest. he hadnt taken a picture of the preexisting wiring setup before pulling it apart which is the first thing i learned on youtube. wasted 3 hours, accomplished nothing, and im stinot even sure why i cant have a cwire installed.

We had some issues with the electrical that I don't fully understand, but it was an old house from 1950s and there was issue with grounding. The electrician who came said that what he did fixed the issue, but then during the inspection it came up again. It sounded like what he did actually made worse than it was before. When we spoke to his supervisor, he was great guy and good to understand. But the technician really wasn't able to explain things well enough to me, and I feel like I wasted my money.

We had a difficult request. We needed to replace a light in the foyer of our townhome. It required a 16ft ladder and a LOT of attention to detail ... but Nic and Jason did a fantastic job!! These people are very nice. They do good work and they are friendly. He came out and did an estimate on the work on a Friday and scheduled the work for Monday. I got a coupon off yelp for $100 for $50. I asked him to apply it the first visit and he accidentally forgot to apply it. It was ok though because I knew that they would apply it for the work on Monday.
They were supposed to be there between 12 and 2 Monday but my technician was caught up and they had to push it back to five. They were very polite and made it up to me because the tech arrived after five. They applied my coupon and gave me a discount. I appreciated them getting the work done that Monday because it was my only day that I could do it.

I've used TE Certified since 2013 . They do great electrical, plumbing and HVAC . Recently they installed a new Rheem furnace to my HVAC system. They worked diligently on the project for 9 hours or more . They took the old dilapidated system from under my house , cleared the area , dug out for pea gravel , installed new system and insulation , then hauled the old stuff away. The father and son team that did the work were very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm sure they were very happy to get home to a shower at the end of the day .

A TE electrician came over 9 months ago to troubleshoot and install floodlights, as we were unable to turn them on. We had just moved into our home a month prior. During the troubleshooting, I guess the electrician realized that solving the floodlights would be no quick endeavor. Hence, the technician headed straight to our electrical panel and took the cover off, unprovoked. He then unloaded about how unsafe the panel was, the fire hazards involved, etc. Obviously, as new homeowners, this was concerning to us and disconcerting to hear we should get a new $4,500 panel + all the other bells and whistles which were mentioned to us, when all we really wanted was a simple floodlight job done. Any time I asked the electrician to explain a concept so I could understand it better, he got defensive and brought up his 14 years of experience. This individual insulted home inspectors and mentioned several times how we had cheap light fixtures/LED bulbs.

Since then, we had 2 independent electricians come over to perform a panel inspection, neither of which deemed the panel to be a fire hazard or safety hazard. While not necessary, we had the panel replaced this week at a far better price than the $4,500 suggested. I strongly resent scare tactics and will not be using TE again. TE gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the floodlights were fixed, albeit at an exorbitant price.

After describing the issue I was having and wanting someone to come see why the breaker was blowing before doing any more electrical work to our house, the company said they would send someone at no charge. As soon as the technician arrived, he told me it would be $149. Their bait and switch tactic was not appreciated and was a complete waste of time. Beware before working with this company. They will show up for free and immediately ask for payment!

I called the company to schedule some work that I needed urgently. They were able to accommodate me as quickly as possible. From the 1st ring to the swipe of my card (which I did with a smile) was seamless. They keep you informed and up to date on the arrival of the electrician and who it is you are to expect. I was very very fortunate to receive Timothy. He is the best. He explained everything that was wrong and what needed to be done. There are a few items that he checked and just tightened a screw or crimped. I cannot stress enough how wonderful Timothy and the company are. He had everything he needed on his truck. I'll only use them.

I am absolutely blown away by TE's customer service before and after the sale. I had smoke alarms going off in middle of night that would not go off so I yanked them out of the wall.

Next day called TE after reading positive yelp reviews. I could not believe it they came out that day on time.

Installed 4 smoke and carbon monoxide combo detectors that give verbal warnings. Send you a Starbucks gift card for leaving a review and feedback.

Very reasonable rates. I might get a whole house surge protector next.

Then I received a thank you in the mail with a 5% off next service. I'll never call anywhere else.

This was too easy. GREAT Company should be featured in magazines...

The TE Certified technician, JR, called 30 before arriving ON TIME. He was extremely professional and polite. He wore covers on his shoes, had a face mask and wore gloves. He replaced our disposal in about 30 minutes and the price was SIGNIFICANTLY less than other quotes I received. I will call TE Certified for anything plumbing needs we have in the future. I recently purchased and moved into a home that allegedly had the HVAC unit serviced as per the sales contract. I was duped.
Within the first 30 days of moving in, my AC went out! I looked for a reputable company on Yelp. TE Heating and Cooling WOWED me with 120 5-star reviews! I am SO glad I contacted them. From my initial phone call to the time of payment, this was a remarkable experience - one that I will share with friends for years to come. They have gained my permanent business due to two exceptional and knowledgeable HVAC Techs, Joey and his trainee, Corey.
My appointment was scheduled for this morning. Thirty minutes prior to his arrival, Joey gave me a courtesy call to let me know he would arrive in 30 minutes and would have a trainee, Corey, with him. He arrived right on time! Joey and Corey were courteous, professional, dressed well, friendly, and most importantly, knowledgeable!
Joey gave me a priceless education on my HVAC system and pointed out the areas of concern. Even though I was upset about the fact that I was led to believe these issues were addressed by the sellers, I was grateful to have Joey there. He is trustworthy and I put my faith in his abilities. The end result was, I was given two choices for which I was grateful. I chose the less expensive choice until such time as I get this issue addressed with the prior property owners. I will use TE for as long as I am alive and for as long as Joey and Corey work there!

Air Conditioning in GA is an essential. When we noticed ours wasn't getting cold a month or so ago we were in no rush, we thought it was just Freon and we could get it done. Come to find out our entire unit needed to be replaced! I'm so grateful for TE and the work they did for us. I'm sitting in a cool house right now!

Company: A+... the office called us to set an appt date for a free estimate. At the time of our appt window we got a text with a PICTURE and short bio on our technician! I thought this was great to know who I was going to see when I opened the door! We received the same treatment on the day of our install!

Technician: Joey is A+++++. He called 30 min ahead, arrived at the time he stated, did a thorough assessment and even tried his hardest to fix our 30yr old unit! We told him money was tight and he didn't try to upsell! He did give us options if we could finance a larger number, but there was no pressure to buy above the basic if that was what we needed! Friendly, hard-working, and honest. I like that a lot.

Service/pricing: Joey quote, even for the higher end options, were $2000 LESS than another quote we received from another company that barely glanced at our system. The service was impeccable! They wore masks and observed the distancing/no handshaking that is needed right now. We had a quote late Thursday night. We have AC Monday afternoon (we could have had it Friday but we couldn't figure out the money end until Friday afternoon).

Joey knew how badly we needed a new system and they did everything they could to get it done.

Thank you TE and especially Joey! We will be in touch for the other items we'll need to have done down the line.

Was using another company for a couple of years but this week I called them and the tech quoted me a high price to trouble shoot and I didn't care for him on the previous visit. I called TE after looking at some reviews. Russ came out today and fixed a bunch of stuff. He was very friendly, neat, and efficient. He also fixed some wiring that the previous company had missed. I feel confident with the work, and the price was fair. I would use Russ and TE again.

TE Certified Electricians were hired to fix numerous outdoor outlets, install two garage lights and replace eight outdoor floodlights with LED bulbs. The electrician, Joaquim Partida, showed me several outdoor GFCI outlets incorrectly installed by previous contractors that were only rated for indoor use. Joaquim replaced those outlets with the proper rated GFCI outlets for outdoor use, replaced the outlet boxes and caulked all boxes required by TE Certified Electricians standards. He pointed out none of the six outdoor GFCI outlet boxes were ever caulked when previously installed by a contractor we hired the prior year, and our sprinkler system had shorted out when rainwater entered between the box and wall. Joaquim then installed two new lights in our garage and installed a light switch to control them. He worked tirelessly to fix improperly installed equipment by our previous contractor, and did a fantastic job installing our new lights. This is proof those lower priced contractors cut corners, install inferior equipment and endanger your family with potential electrical fire hazards. I suggest you pay a little more to have an expert like Jaquim at TE Certified Electricians do your electrical work, do it right with the proper equipment, and keep your family safe. He also took the time to explain these details to me and keep the customer fully informed of the project details. My high 5 star marks for Joaquim Partida at TE Certified Electricians is 100% deserved as the highest quality you can expect from any electrician in Georgia.

TE certified electrician Thomas Stephens did an outstanding job in diagnosing and repairing the severe electrical damage at our house caused by a lightning strike.

Mr. Stephens arrived right on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and explained what he was doing each step of the way. He also gave us helpful advice on how to prevent damage from a future lightning strike.

We had an intermittent blockage combined with a sewer odor in one of our bathrooms. We made an appt. with TE and had to wait 4 days (due to virus crisis??). Anyhow, Tech (Jesse) came, inspected this toilet plus the sewer lines and out other bathrooms. He advised us what (probably) was causing the problem and what to do about it. We appreciated his candor. Also, he did not charge for the diagnosis.
The office called us to advise when the tech was arriving, which was well within the original timeframe of the appointment.

We had some issues with previous lighting, and decided it was time to upgrade. Jordan from TE came out to our home, asked us questions regarding what we wanted from our lighting, and even tried to stay as far within our budget as he possible could. As a result, we have dumped our old florescent light fixture in the trash, and have amazing recessed lighting! As we move through and work on renovating the rest of our home, I will be sure to call Jordan again! Thank you so much!!!!

Our experience with TE certified was during the pandemic.

I scheduled a service through Yelp chat. The process was very easy, and the representative was very responsive. There was no initial fee charged to come out based on my discussion with representative. I was under the impression that no fee will be charged for them to come out to just have a look.

The tech came on time and he was following the COVID-19 precautions. He was very knowledgeable and wearing the mask the entire time.
The only downside was that he charged $130 to come out and diagnose the issue. This is why I took off one star.

He offered a few recommendations to improve our AC performance and gave us the pricing which was on the high side with our budget.

We will probably come back for the major service in the future.

I discovered TE a few weeks ago because a neighbor of mine hired them. So I contacted them via yelp and Hannah J was very prompt in getting an electrician out to my home. My electrician Jordan Partee was great. He was friendly, professional, transparent and has great customer service skills. I walked away satisfied with the 2 floodlights and motion detector light that he installed for me. I would definitely use TE again for future work to upgrade some lighting inside my home.

Used them for years, but found the owner to be arrogant and even abusive of employees, so much so that outside of a few, all the techs left this firm.

Make sure you check the quote you get and let your tech knows that YOU KNOW if they break anything during the electrical repair, that isn't electrical, it's up to them to fix it. They won't want their boss to know, but it's part of their service and in their insurance.

UPDATE TWO DAYS LATER.
After posting this the owner of TE wants to talk to me. Sorry Josh but this forum is for honest reviews. I was a loyal customer for 5 plus years who referred your company in many positive ways. You have to accept the genuine negative reviews with the good ones - that's life!

MY ADVICE - Keep TE on a short leash if you use them.
1. Ask for the office staff for the techs state licensing, being certified isn't the same as a
state license as an Electrician or Master electrician.

2. Ask the tech for details on if they scuff, break or ding your walls, lights or home - what is
the company's written policy.

3. If you own a decent company but notice people grow distant and unethical, look within before looking beyond. It's time for a 360 Leadership assessment. Law schools just started giving them, and it helps staff and students alike. Maybe it can help the alumni!

We had hot water pressure issues at our house. Jack from T&E came to assess the situation, found the problem and provided us with 5 different options to resolve the situation. We selected the best option for us and after speaking/comparing with a few other plumbers, we decided to go with T&E. Jack was here the very next day to complete the repairs and restore our hot water pressure.

T&E were not the lowest cost option in our case, but Jack had demonstrated his knowledge and honesty during the assessment. He did not disappoint with his work, he was meticulous and attentive to details.
