I will never use this company again. I had several hvac systems and used this company to service a few yrs ago. When I had a problem, the technician came in and before he even looked at my system, he claimed it wasn't covered. My AC wasn't working during the summer and the temperature in my house was reading 80s-90s. The technician went to his car and left without telling me anything. When I called the company, I was told the technician claimed I told him to leave. Why would I do this when my house was 90 degrees? I had to make several calls to get someone to come back out. I have since switched to another company and have had great professional service and no problems.

Called about a error code, on a 4yr old unit. Paid $100 for a tech to show up.
Tthese units are junk, they stole patents, it'll cost hundreds to fix. You should replace it.. (with a $600 walmart brand). It'll cost $4000. You already have the piping, so you'll save $500 and I can have the parts tomorrow

I cleaned the damn thing myself. F-- these clowns

Was alerted to water flowing out of the basement by our neighbor and called R. S. Andrews to assess the issue and fix the issue. Although it was after hours, David Stitt was at our home within an hour of the call. He helped us turn off the water and diagnosed the issue, but as it was dark wouldn't be able to fix it. However, David made sure that his dispatcher would send out someone first thing the get us up and running again. At 7:30am, I got a call from master plumber, Michael Waters, that he would be at our home in 20 minutes. All told, after about an hour or so of work out plumbing issue was repaired better that when it had been originally installed and it was a LOT less than I expected. Both of these men are a credit to R. S. Andrews and if I ever move it will be hard not having a company like them to partner with.

Fun fact: these guys aren't on commission. They don't get paid more to sell things you don't need. These guys are professional, tell you what you need to fix the issue, and fix it.

The technician told us that there was a buzzing noise from our water pressure regulator because the wrong one was installed and it was shot.  He said he would replace it for $500.  We declined, because it had just been installed 6 months previous.  It turned out that the buzzing was solved by adjusting the valve with the turn of a screwdriver.  Would never do business with them again!

I was referred to R.S. Andrews and another company by my neighbor. I choose to go with R.S. Andrews because their pricing was in sync with the average market pricing for the Atlanta-area and the high quality customer service I received during my initial call. I have had my home serviced for plumbing issues by R.S. Andrews twice so far and each time the service was exceptional. They came within the time window established, the plumbers were both skilled and knowledgeable and were able to solve the issues I was facing. Keep up the great job!

I replaced my 15 year old systems with new Lennox systems installed by RS Andrews.  I had the company come out, give recommendations and installed what they recommended.  The only good part of the experience was that they were able to install both systems in one day.  It wen down hill from there.  The system failed the first city inspection and took over a month to correct.  The new system does not heat all of the rooms.  The two back bedrooms are still cold.  I never had this problem with the old system, even at 15 years old.  The fix recommended by the serviceman was 1500 and had no gaurantee it would fix the problem.  Finally, today, the coldest day in Atlanta in 20 years, my heat pump for my first and basement floors stopped working.  I called customer service, and I can't get an appointment until tomorrow.  Meanwhile, it is 8 degrees outside, 60, inside and dropping.  I have a two year old and 2 small dogs that are freezing.  Luckily, as of now, the upstairs unit works.  But who know how long?  Oh, and I am a member of their club, which is supposed to give me preferred service, as well as the system is brand new and under warranty.  I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Dont use this company. They are manipulative and tend to over charge and take advantage of an emergency situation. It took them more than 8 hours to come for an EMERGENCY.

We have used RS Andrews for both plumping and ac service. They have always arrived on time, and fixed our issues quickly.  On our first time using them, they figured out what was wrong when other companies could not.  They are always professional and reasonable priced.

Very disappointed.  If there was a negative star option, I'd give it!
I've been a long time customer of RS Andrews and over the past few years, they spend more time selling their yearly club plans than actually servicing their customers.  My AC went out on Tuesday and I was told I could be 'worked in' on Friday.  No option of an earlier time just a 'our plan members take priority'.
My issue is - to be 'worked in' you have no appointment time, no idea when someone is coming, you are just 'worked in' but they didn't offer the option to be 'worked in' earlier, just deal with an 80+ degree house for four days - and a broken unit they sold me and installed!
I requested a manager call me to discuss this - no call even after I asked on twice.
A few years ago, I experienced the same issue when we had a water emergency and I was told I could be 'worked in' to the plumbing schedule within a few days and my best option would to be shut off the water until they could come out.
RS Andrews is no longer a good service organization - they just sell plans to new customers and ignore their long standing ones.  After almost 20 years with this company, two times being this disappointed is enough.  Save yourself the hassle and go with another organization that actually services the products they sell rather than sell club plans.

Their plumber came on Monday, and needed to replace our recirculator pump and plumb the line into the bottom of our hot water heater. He was nice, quick and professional. My complaint is not about him.

Rather, it is the degree to which they overcharged me for the pump. I looked it up online: the pump they charged me over $1,100 for sells for $300! Even allowing an hour for labor (I don't think it even took that long), that means they STILL charged me over 3x what the pump costs. I realize they need to mark things up a bit to make a profit, but that is truly ridiculous.

I will never use this company for any future services, and after the HVAC maintenance contract I just renewed runs out, I will be cancelling that too.

Stay away from this POS company. Overpriced BS. Employees not happy with their jobs and make up stories to tell customers so they can charge more on customer's site. Hire some professionals who know what the hell they are doing! Not calling them again see ya

Interestingly enough, for a company that answers the phone by asking how they can make you smile today, they haven't learned the basics. You make people smile by being on time for your appointments, calling when there is going to be a delay, and acting professionally. None of this happened during my experience with R.S. Andrews. I had an appointment between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, with the promise that the plumber would call 45 mins prior to arriving. At 1:45 pm, I called R.S. Andrews because I hadn't heard from anyone. I asked if I had an appointment that day. I was told I did and was still on the plumber's schedule. I asked if it was supposed to be between 11:00 and 2:00. Again I was told yes, and I was on the plumber's schedule. When I mentioned that it was 1:45, I was told the plumber had run into an emergency that was taking longer than expected, but that I was still on his schedule for the day. I asked why I hadn't been called earlier and was told that the plumber had just had the purchase order for a water heater approved and was on his way to a hardware store to pick it up. But I was still on his schedule for today. I asked how long it would take before he would get to me. The customer service rep didn't know. But I was still on his schedule and he would get to me - eventually.

Having replaced a water heater before, I know it takes roughly 2 - 3 hours. If you are just headed to the store to buy one, you probably have 1 1/2 to 2 hours to go. So the 3 hour window for service just became 5 - 6 hours. There was no concern on R.S. Andrews part that I had already waited 3 hours. The customer service rep didn't bring up cancelling and rescheduling during the conversation - I did. So my takeaway is that R.S. Andrews is not concerned about any of the basics I at least expect from professionals. It may be an isolated incident, but I think it speaks volumes about a business when they don't value my time as much as they value theirs.

This is the most overpriced HVAC company in Atlanta. They charge $125 a pound for Freon while the competitors are charging $65. Their techs are rude and only try to sell you up on everything. Stay clear

RS Andrews installed a new Furnace / Air Conditioner and Water Heater for me this year. Service was excellent. Both jobs took a bit of time but they kept my place clean and from what i can tell they did excellent work on the instal. My AC bill this month is half of what it was last year at this time with the new Lennox Unit they installed. Water pressure is excellent after the new water heater instal as well. I couldn't be happier with their service and products they installed. Im sure there are cheaper options out there but im not interested in rolling the dice with a cheap option when it comes to Furnace and AC work. RS Andrews will get my business again if I ever need them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!  They are supposed to know electrical, plumbing and heating and ac. What I can tell you is this - I had an issue with my HVAC system and they advised it would be cheaper to replace it, than to fix it. I got a second opinion and this firm - THAT ONLY DOES HEATING AND AIR, figured out that there was nothing wrong with my AC unit, that it was an electrical issue. So instead of taking advantage of me and selling me something I didn't need, they referred me to another company who came out and ran another outlet and I've not had a problem since! I've left FOUR messages asking to speak to the manager. I've not received one return call!
Please don't use them. You will regret it!

I recently called R.S. Andrews because my plumbing pipes were making a loud noise when I turned on water faucets or flushed toilets.  The tech came out and told me the pressure valve on the water coming into the house was broken and he could replace it for $549.  I questioned him on this, since the valve was replaced 6 months ago.  He said the valve was a cheap one and was broken. I contacted the first plumber that installed the valve, he told me to get an inexpensive pressure measuring device which I did, and told me how to adjust the pressure.  This took five minutes and fixed the problem.  Nothing wrong with the valve.  This company is either inept or dishonest.

I had an issue with a leaky kitchen faucet, so I called RS Andrews to come have a look. The rep who answered the phone was super nice (almost to the point of being cheesy - but hey, in this day and age of surly customer service reps, I'll take it). It was no problem getting someone to come out the very next morning.

The plumber took a look at what was going on with my faucet and quoted a price from a pre-printed sheet for that type of work. It was a little more expensive than I expected, but well worth it for a quality job done quickly. The pre-printed sheet put my mind to ease that the guy wasn't just making numbers up to rip me off (sadly, I am clueless when it comes to plumbing matters...frankly, I'd be an easy target).

Bottom line: they are an established, licensed, courteous, non-shady company who will take care of your problem and charge you fairly for the quality of work they provide. Would definitely use them again.

If you are looking for someone to show up on time, this is not the company you want to use. If you are looking to get a quote for the work in a reasonable time frame, this is not the company for you.
We are purchasing a home and needed a quote right away. The tech who came was very nice but had technical problems and couldn't produce the quote right there. He said he would send it first thing in the morning. Didn't happen. By lunch I called the office where I was told they would get it to me that day. Didn't happen. I called again the next day and was told they would have it to me after another 24 hours. Even after I explained to them that my due diligence was ending that day. I have yet to receive this quote. Wouldn't use this company if they paid me.

Called 1 week in advance to set up an appointment to get a NEW HVAC system priced out.  Put the appointment date/time in my calendar.  Got a call from the company to confirm appointment the night before, called back and left a message confirming this appointment, nobody shows up.  Call them 1 hour after appointment time to check on status and they say appointment was never confirmed by me so they cancelled it.  They add insult to injury saying tech called me this a.m. to attempt confirmation, which was a lie.  We've given 3 major companies the opportunity to earn our business on this job, likely a job that will be priced between 10-15k.  RS Andrews has failed with the basics...communicating with a customer.  Casteel which is a competitor is 1000% better at all aspects.  Thanks for making my decision easy RS Andrews on who to use for this job!!!

Sadly this company has gone downhill over the last several years. There was a time their focus was taking care of customers. Then it became an up sell game for them... Have had a yearly prepaid service contract for a number of years and they began selling parts (caught them trying to sell things like starting capacitors that they'd sold us less than 6 months prior). Trying to push duct cleaning, drain sanitizers, etc. etc.

The last two maintenance appointments, we were told we ought to upgrade our systems to new systems (theory that it would save us $ in utility expenses, etc.). They tend to not take no for an answer unless you're insistent and tell them you done talking.

Also, beware of their plumbing division unless money is no object and Fort Knox is petty change to you.

I unfortunately cannot recommend anyone else at the moment, but can honestly say I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AND DO NOT PLAN ON USING THEM AGAIN. IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT RS ANDREWS IS DISHONEST, UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE,

We called RS Andrews for a Fall tune up on our Furnace- currently experiencing no problems or concerns, just a routine tune up... imagine my surprise when the service report emailed included suggestions for a $17,000 unit replacement!
We scheduled our appointment on a Saturday morning from 8-9AM- receptionist called to state the tech was having problems with his truck and would be late, service tech arrived at 10:21AM and spent 90 minutes doing a routine tune up!?! After completing his tune up he emailed a report of services completed including checking the Evan coil, replacement of filter and inspection of blower, flue, motor and blower cap. Advisor told my husband that the motherboard was bad and motor housing had a crack that could be leaking CO gases into home (even though he ran a CO test and put on report that it was Good. Also, we have several CO detectors in our home- never having sensed an alarm). The work suggested included $4,250 of repairs and a large message reading WE DO NOT RECOMMEND REPAIRING FURNACE DUE TO AGE (2006). WE DO NOT RECOMMEND OPERATING FURNACE. With further quotes for three furnace units suggested as replacements ranging from $17,000 to $12,000 and to complete ASAP.
After not having any problems, being quite shocked by this quote/service recommendations we contacted another competitor to perform the exact same Fall Tune Up. The competitor sent a Senior Service Tech who completed job in less than an hour and also emailed a report of work completed which did not mention *any* of the work that the RS Andrews tech did and stated on report All operations OK
I was very leery of the quote but after having a second opinion by another company and NONE of the repairs suggested nor a replacement were recommended; I simply cannot trust RS Andrews and would encourage other customers to seek a second opinion!

One star for work/late tech, an extra star given just because the RS Andrews service advisor was kind and used shoe covers before entering the home.

No show at 5 hour appt window. Sent a text message blaming their technician and then kept sending texts trying to come out at 8 or 9pm.
I realize it is the busy season for HVAC, would be awesome if they did too. That way they wouldn't double book and leave potential customers waiting indefinitely...

RS Andrews has helped me with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical needs. I have always been impressed with the polite folks that come out and their punctuality. Also, when I had a plumbing leak, they even hooked me up with a great restoration company. Each of my experiences has been great...the consistent, quality service is so much appreciated! Plan to use RS Andrews to install a new HVAC this summer when I finish my basement.

Do NOT use this company!  Bottom line, I had work done on a rental property.  I made it clear that I wanted them to call me before they did any work.  They did not call me.  They did unauthorized work, overcharged me and went ahead and ran my credit card (which they had because I paid for the membership).  Both my husband and I have called repeatedly, the people who work their are very nice on the phone, but the owner/manager/anyone has not called us back.  The only reason that I even know what work they did was because I asked the person in the office.

do not use this company!  I had been using them for 20+ years and it was fine.. over past 4-5 years they have overcharged me, suggested completely new units when i didn't need it, horrible customer service (politely talk to someone about an issue and they don't care), and I'm FINALLY dropping them.  Should have done it a long time ago.

During a regular (contract) maintenance visit the R.S Andrews technician recommended expensive and seemingly unnecessary repairs (everything was working fine) and when we questioned the repairs the technician was almost offended we were asking.  The house and systems are only 5 years old (one system on an addition is only a year old) and we have always had regular semi-annual system maintenance. We ultimately agreed to the repairs so that is on us, but the entire experience left us with 0 trust in the company going forward.  The filters were also replaced at significantly higher cost (I think double) than the last visit -- look like similar filters with same name, but could be different so I acknowledge that, but why put in different more expensive filters than last time, and at least without explanation; or if the costs have gone up on filters at least let us know?  We felt like because of the house we live in the technician decided to run up the bill.  That may not be the case at all, but that is 100% how we felt.  Separate, but related - when we had our backup generator installed, Perkins Generator quoted (and did the entire job for) $10,000.  RS Andrews Electical provided a quote as well - $25,000 for the same job and same generator, and the salesman disclosed RS Andrews would source the unit and sub the install to Perkins, and there were no new lines to run and no new boxes to install.  I assume they drove up to the house and decided to swing for the fences. Just another data point for us that RS Andrews is not looking out for our (or your) best interests.

I rent my house and the landlords live in another state (which can be difficult when house repairs are needed). RS Andrews makes the communication/scheduling/payments/repairs super easy for everyone. I had a shower leak, causing some minor flooding in the basement (frustrating!!) RS Andrews came out and their technician was able to fix the problem within 30 minutes. No muss, no fuss. Simply explained the problem to me to where I could relay the info back to my landlords; made sure everything was 100% before he finished. I have never had a plumbing issue before (I thought it was going to be a nightmare!) RS Andrews made the repair faster and easier than I could have ever hoped for. Thank You!!

We purchased two systems several years ago from R. S. Andrews, and we've been extremely pleased with the service that we received from them.  Technicians know what they're doing, and are polite and professional.  When we've had a service need they make it a priority to get to us almost immediately.  We would not think of using another firm.  Simply the best.

I wouldn't let these people work on anything in my home again. I called for an appointment and was told 'next day 8am-1pm'. I get a confirmation for 10am-3pm. Called back to get it corrected. Person on the phone says it's taken care of. Next day, no one shows. At 1:30pm called to see if the guy was coming. Told yes, he is running behind and should be there. After 3pm I get a call. He's on his way. At 5pm he finally shows up in a van packed with disorganized junk from floor to cieling. He's looking for a copper crimp ring to put a splice in a polybutylene pipe. He's got one but needs two. Guess what. Can't find another one in the whole van. Now he's got to run off to a supply house for a 35 cent part. After all that he's got the nerve to ask if I want this 30 minute job done today (after waiting 9 hours). The sad thing is, I'm trying to be a repeat customer because they did a good job a few years ago. I guess things change. Stay away from these guys. I know I will.

RS Andrews is the worst company ever.  They just came here to service our A/C unit, we have two thermostats and two zones.  When it was running fine in one zone the other zone wouldnt cool. So we called the RSAndrews people to service.  He came and said coolant leaking or something and but he made it worse now it is not working in either zone and the temperature is not at all reducing.  And they are giving lame excuses that the outside temperature is 87 .. Yesterday when it was 100 our air conditioner in one zone worked and brought down the temperature to 72... I dont know where these people come from and call themselves professionals.   I would give -ve review if there is one.

I called RS Andrews earlier this week and the customer service reps were very personable and made me want to do business with them. They told me that the technician would give me a call before he came out   my appointment was between 8 and 12 pm. The leak was somewhat identified by Cobb Water.

I am up and ready at like 735am waiting for the Technician. No cal or text.  He just knocks on the door like there's a zombie apocalypse outside or he was waking the dead. When  I open the door he did not say good morning or anything he just looked at me and said well where is the leak?

I responded it's right where Cobb County marked with a flag in the yard.  Then in a gruff manner said it's. $495 to dig the whole yard up and look for the leak and then it will be additional money up to $1800 to repair it.

I said well it seems as though I'm bothering you this morning and he said I drove an hour to get here.  I responded but that's not my problem - that's between you and RS Andrews  and he mumbled something and went out slammed his truck door.  Plus he drove his heavy truck onto my driveway instead of parking on the street.

Our interaction was up to five minutes before he stopped off to slam his car door loudly.  When I got in the house I then received the text from him or somebody saying I am on my way to your house!
I also received a survey which I was happy to fill out completely and submit.  .

I would not recommend this company for plumbing estimates or for anything and it's a good thing this was free because I would ask for my money back.

He was not personable - he seemed like it was irritating to him that he had to drive for an hour and he hadn't even told me what the prices were so he couldn't be upset for driving out to the job and then me not  signing up for it   I live in Marietta but it is unprofessional for a rep  of a company to display any type of dismay  for  his assignment to the customer and to a prospective  customer !

I was in need of a new water heater and contacted RS Andrews to handle the task.  They arrived as scheduled and the job was done, somewhat.

The next day I noticed the water in the shower was not able to be adjusted to a usable temperature.  I placed a call and they were very quick to setup a service call to ascertain the problem.

A service technician arrived once again and determined that everything was connected properly and it was a wiring issue.  Note - this is a gas water heater.  Once we investigated further it was noticed that toilets were now filling with Hot Water and several sinks were now inverted between Hot/Cold water,  shower was still not usable.

It seems that the unit was indeed NOT installed properly as half the house was cross connected with the Hot & Cold lines.  Thankfully we handled the fix ourselves and all was made right, no thanks to the folks at RS Andrews.

I've had good experiences with RS Andrews in the past so I called them again when my kitchen faucet was leaking. They were able to send someone out the day I called which was great because I couldn't use the kitchen sink since it was leaking so much. Brian Turner came out and was able to quickly fix the problem. It was such a simple fix that he offered to look at any other plumbing issues I had since I was paying the service fee anyway. He was friendly and knowledgable and I appreciated RS Andrews being able to help me that day.

My heater wasn't working... He came by charging a nonrefundable $70 diagnostic fee. He diagnosed the problem quickly and easily. Told me the part he needed. Called to check price and instal cost. Quoted me $800.... While he looked it up, I looked it up on my phone. I could get the part for $60. So i declined his service, paying the diag fee only. It literally took me 15 mins to install the part after buying it. The way i figure it was around $100 per screw to install the part... major rip.. It adds to my distrust of repairmen. Its hard to find an honest one.

Very pleased with R.S. Andrews. I called over half a dozen companies for AC repair and they were the only one to get back with me within a timely fashion while I dealt with water leaking from the inside unit into my dining room ceiling. KC was very helpful and had my issue fixed within an hour.  He also instructed me on how to maintain the unit going forward and a couple cheap parts to pick up that would make it easier. O would recommend them for sure.

We had Brian Turner from RS Andrews out to look at some plumbing problems and advise us about buying a new water heater. He called to come out earlier than scheduled (nice). He wore booties over his shoes to prevent tracking mud into the house. He was polite. He fixed one of the simple plumbing problems on the spot and then gave us quotes on 50 and 75 gal water heaters and a tankless system. No pressure, he told us the pros and cons of each system, operating costs and the like and let us decide on what we wanted. He seemed knowledgable and answered any questions we had. We ended up buying the standard 50 gal water heater which he was able to install immediately. He had told us that the new 50 gal would probably out perform our old and this seems to be the case. He also noted a few problems with our heating system piping (not plumbing) and suggested some corrections for safety and told us how we could get it fixed. He quoted a price for the entire water heater install before the work was done and that was that. The install was done quickly and the quality of the work looks good. Brian then went over how to turn the water heater on and off and showed me how it was done. This was our second experience with RS Andrews, the first went well too, when I need plumbing work I will call them again.

I selected RS Andrews for their services on an entire home remodel and they were the best contractors we had on the project. RS Andrews did the entire electric system, including new panels and a connection for a whole home generator. They also did all of the HVAC work including new ductwork and a super efficient mini-split system in our basement. I just wish I would have used RS Andrews for our plumbing, but our general contractor brought in a different plumber too early and I couldn't make the change to RS Andrews. I 100% recommend RS Andrews. They have the technical knowledge and great people to work with.

I can not express my satisfaction enough. Jamie was the best! We needed to replace our water heater in a home we just bought. He came on a Thursday and gave a thorough estimate for the service. He came on Friday to install. He left the room (our laundry room) cleaner then it was before the install. He completely cleaned the rust from the previous water heater off the tile floor. We believe you get what you pay for and Jamie did not disappoint.

RS Andrews customer service sucks! Chris took my call, scheduled appointment and no one showed.  Chris called later in the day to say they were waiting to hear from me!  What!  When I called back I got Tamara who said the job wasn't assigned to anyone so no one showed.  She was to call with another appointment and two days later I'm still waiting to hear back.  I want a full refund of my annual service fee.  Customer NO service!!!!

Previously I'd had a very good experience with them - high prices, but you get what you pay for. They replaced a toilet last time and I asked them to come back and do the same for my other two toilets.

The toilets they installed were a different, much more expensive brand, and the handles are extremely loose, the way you'd expect them to be on a 20+ year old toilet. I asked him to tighten them and he said they were supposed to be that way. I pointed out the other toilet they installed wasn't, which was when he realized he'd spent 3 hours installing the wrong ones.  Now they're refusing to install the correct ones, and I'm out $1800.

RS Andrews came out and replaced the main electrically line from our clubhouse to our pump house for our pool. From beginning to end I was informed and kept in the loop about the progress of the job.
Their electricians were courteous and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions I had. At no point in time did I feel rushed or my questions were an inconvenience. RS Andrews was upfront on their time line (it was a huge job and need time to pull permits and have a trench dug) and arrived everyday on time if not early. They then notified me the second the inspector had cleared all of their work so I could have our pool company come in to balance the chemicals. This saved us an entire day!
I would highly recommend RS Andrews to anyone and will be using them again!

Our tankless water heater started leaking. The R S Andrews tech came and said we needed a new heat exchanger. After some time on the phone he told us a new exchanger was not available for our water heater. He said we'd have to replace the entire heater, for a total price of over $5000!

I called the manufacturer, and they told me where to purchase a new exchanger, for about $300. I got a local plumber to install it for an additional $300.

In short, a little leg work on my part saved us about $4500! In addition, two other companies I talked to said that $5000 for a new tankless water heater is too high! Be careful dealing with this company.

We just utilized the services of R.S. Andrews for their duct cleaning service. We are more than pleased. Nick and Chase were prompt, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They showed us before and after photos during the process. We were amazed at the difference, and our system is only about nine years old. Also they beat Stanley Steamer by about $200. They also did the dryer vent which was pretty dirt. Kudos to their manager, Albert, for giving us the exact cost up front and we weren't pressured to add anything we did not want. The next time we need this service done we will definitely go with R.S. Andrews again.

Well it's great to have the HVAC working again by actual trained professionals Guardian HVAC

We had heard from the service manager at RS Andrews... the usual postering of we find this techs behavior unacceptable... bla..bla... bla..
Kept calling me by the wrong name (apparantly another complaining customer.   By the end of the call he verbalized I seriously believe our tech was trying to help you guys out.  Wow what a back pedal!

Promised to reverse charge our service charge of $59.  That was hardly worth the 90 degree temps in our home for over 30 hours!  Where was our compensation for that?

I stand my ground... Don't use these people!  You've been warned.

It's interesting how RS Andrews has gone from 5 stars to 3 stars on Yelp over the past 3 years. It does however reflect my own experience.

When I first used RS Andrews they were very responsive, I could text their person who worked on my house and he would handle everything.  Now he doesn't respond to texts, you have to call their helpdesk, where you get a long hold time.  You have to book appointments weeks in advance even for routine maintenance.  If you need service on a Saturday, they are closed.

Also their pricing isn't great either as some other reviewers have pointed out.  It's like they raised prices and cut the level of service quality.

I also learned that they poorly installed my humidifier with a pipe that is too short.  Didn't realize until I called another company out and they showed me that it was too short to connect to the canister.

My 19 year old furnace died this week.....RS Andrews replaced my other system so I called and they quoted me $3337 for the new furnace.....my brother-in-law is in HVAC (in Florida), he told me that was crazy and to get a second opinion.  The second quote was under $2k.....if you use these guys you need to get a second quote to verify the price.  If you are like me and don't have the time, then just avoid them.

Prompt and friendly service and problem fixed. Would be five stars but I feel we were ripped off. $60 for the diagnostic and $250 for the part that took the tech about 10 or 20 mins to install. That part costs $10-$30 retail. I expect a bit of mark-up and understand the experience and labor has value, but that's a bit much and we won't be using them again.

Do Not Trust RSAndrews!
I found RSAndrews through TrustDale when I was in search of an HVAC company that I could trust to replace my heating and air system (including replacement of all units and ducts). They installed the system a few years ago.

I recently needed a plumbing job completed and assumed that I could trust RSAndrews with plumbing jobs too - after all, they are a Trust Dale Company. So, I called RSAndrews for a plumbing issue that was causing my kitchen sink to drain slowly. After his diagnosis, the professional opinion of the RSAndrews plumber was to replace the horizontal iron pipe (which ran underneath my crawlspace) with PVC. I followed the plumber's recommendation and paid $6,500 for the work. Six weeks later, my kitchen sink began draining slowly again. I was very upset, as I'd just paid $6,500 for the plumber's recommended work. I began to question whether a simple snake through the drain would have actually solved my slow drainage issue. I call RSAndrews to complain. Soon after, I received a call back from a Manager (Jamie). While speaking with Jamie, he said that after iron pipes have been removed, it is possible for iron to settle and build up at the vertical arm, causing blockage. The company (Jamie) sent out a different plumber the next day. The plumber ran a snake - which according to the plumber pulled out very little cast iron pipe debris. I washed my dirty dishes shortly after the plumber left my home. Upon releasing the drain stopper, the dirty dish water left my drain in a matter of seconds. Witnessing this made me wonder (even the more) whether a snake (rather than a $6,500 job) would have solved the sink issue for which I originally contacted RSAndrews (a slow draining kitchen sink).

I am at the disadvantage. Because I was not presented with the snake option, I will never know if a simple run of the snake would have cleared my slow drain, hence saving me thousands of dollars. Yes, the iron pipe would have had to be replaced with PVC eventually, but due to my unfavorable financial situation (as indicated by my need to finance some of the work), I would not have done this right away if it could have waited.
When this was investigated by TrustDale, they were told that I would have had to have the pipes replaced sooner rather than later. But again...I should have been the one to decide when to have this done and when to spent my money. The decision was not RSAndrews' to make. This was an expensive lesson, but I have learned it!! I will not be using them again for plumbing nor for my HVAC maintenance.

On  the first scheduled day they showed up 4.5 hours late and ended up not doing ANYTHING!!! They suggested a ton of unnecessary replacements to me but then when they saw my fiance they changed their mind when talking to the man of the house.  When they finally did come back over a week later they were still 2 hours late and after being there 8 hours they left a giant hole in my ceiling because it was too late in the day to fix it and also broke my bathroom floor which led to me spending an additional $1,000 to fix that plus the additional $500 to fix the hole in the ceiling.  Then I came back in town and the toilet they fixed wouldn't flush.  I had another person come out (late once again) and he blamed me for breaking it even though I had been out of town for a funeral and then suggested me spending $1,000 on the toilet.  When I refused he performed a simple tune up that was included in the warranty from my services and it's been fine ever since.  I am incredibly disappointed in the service I received and how I was treated as a customer.  I will only use them in the future to finish out the warranty and will never again use them for new work.

Had a Saturday 8:30 AM appt and he arrived at 9:10. I wasn't given a window, but maybe there was supposed to be one. Guy was very friendly and went straight to work finding an upstairs leak. He gave me the opportunity to save $175 by removing the ceiling drywall downstairs, which I was fine with. After about 45 minutes, he determined the leak was coming from the kids' bathroom toilet. He removed the toilet and discover that the flange was broken. He removed the flange and replaced it, reset the toilet and tested everything. He left at 2:00PM for another job. The repair cost $993, which was more than expected, but so far so good.

My last water bill was very high so I suspected a leak. I contacted a plumber and a Leak Detection company. and they were not able to find the leak. I contacted RS Andrews and Mr. Todd Allen came out and began by asking me many questions about my problem and he even contacted the leak detection company. He walked my property with me looking for a leak. Finally he discovered that I did not have a leak but instead had a neighborhood irrigation system attached to my meter. And the irrigation system had the leak. We shut off the irrigation and my problem was solved. I highly recommend Mr Todd Allen with RS Andrews. He truly cared about my problem.

I used R S Andrews to replace my 2 HVAC systems and was very pleased with the work, service, and price.  When I needed some minor plumbing work done, and since I am a Smiley Club member, I called them.  I wanted to have the faucet/shower trim and drain trim in the upstairs bath replaced.  I furnished the material.  My appointment time was between 9 AM and 12. The plumber arrived at 4 PM.  The job took about 1 hour and the charge was $660 less 10% for the club membership.  I feel that $600 for 1 hour work is unreasonable.  He did, however, do a good job.  I  do not plan to use them again.

I bought an Angie's List deal for RS Andrews in December for $100 to get $200 worth of services.  I have a pull out sprayer on my kitchen faucet and the hose leaked. I also had a hose connecting my gas grill from the natural gas outlet to a Weber grill.  I decided to use the Angie's list deal to cover the services of getting these two hoses replaced and figured the cost of the two hoses would be $50-$80 tops.  I provided pictures and the make and model of the faucet and grill but it took them 5 weeks to get the parts, although I am sure they are pretty standard parts.  The plumber came out and was here for a while, then left to go get more parts and was gone for 30 minutes, then came back to finish.  From the time he arrived until he left was 90 minutes.  Imagine my surprise when he handed me a bill for $524!  When I complained he removed the $59 service fee but told me they had over $250 in parts (the standard parts at Ace hardware are about $20 each for the hoses).  The bill did not break out the cost but listed 'Flat fee' of $285 to fix the faucet hose and $185 to fix the grill hose.  Including what I paid for the Angie's List deal my total cost was $365, much too much for two simple hose replacements.

If you are considering using RS Andrews BEWARE the exorbitant costs - pure robbery!

I bought a new house that I haven't moved into yet.  Called RS Andrews, I was quoted an appt time of 12pm to 3pm.  I know plumbers get busy so to give them the benefit of the doubt I took the entire day off just in case they could not get there within the hours allotted.  Not only did they not show up within the hours allotted but they didn't show up at ALL, they called 3 times to tell me that the plumber was on his way once at 2:30 and then at 4:30pm the next time at 5:21pm.  I firmly believe they kept telling me he was on his way so that I didn't call someone else to come out.  I could never reach anyone when I called during business hours and the only time I could reach someone was the 3rd party after hours dispatch who didn't know anything about the plumber's location.   I spent all day in a vacant house with no running water--waiting for a plumber that never showed up.  I wasted a day off.   Extremely disappointed with the fact they didn't hold up their end of the bargain.  Will never try them again.

absolutely horrible experience with this company.  They first said I needed a new A/C unit, then after asking more questions, it was determined that I only needed a small part.  Then, 2 weeks later the motor of the A/C unit broke.  They services it again and the technician said the previous issue could have cause the motor to go bad.  Now, 1 month later, the blower broker because the person who installed the motor literally 'hammered' the motor into place.  The poor installation of the motor caused the blower to break.  I demanded to talk with a manager, numerous times, but they would never call me back.  Honestly, the worst experience I've ever had with any company

I would give them zero stars if I could. When I called them to schedule an appointment, I told them that my detached garage lost power durning the last storm, we've tried resetting the GFI, and that hasn't worked, so we wanted someone to come out and look at it. The person I talked too said that they have a deal right now for $49 for an electrician to come out, assess the problem, and if we decide to go with their company, the $49 will go towards the cost of fixing the problem. So the electrician gets here, and immediately says he needs $200 to figure out what's wrong. My husband tells him what we were told on the phone and the electrician reply's, No, the $49 is just for me to come out here, and see if it's an electrical problem or just hanging a light fixture WHAT?!? WE ALREADY TOLD THE COMPANY THE PROBLEM OVER THE PHONE!!! He then leaves after 2 minutes of being here, when we told him we aren't paying $249 for something that we were told was only going to cost $49 in the first place. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF AND A COMPLETE SCAM!

I needed 2 spigots replaced and one toilet fixed.  I was charged a $99 service fee that did NOT apply to my total bill.  The guy that came out complained that I had a Kohler one piece toilet. It only needed a gasket on the siphon which he replaced (2 minutes to complete). Then he quoted me $456 to replace on spigot that was easily accessible and told it would be twice that to replace the other one since it had to be relocated. Needless to say, I decline that highway robbery offer.   I called a local plumber who replaced both (including relocating the one) and he only charged me $350.   While RS Andrews may be a Trust Dale recommendation-they will rip you off if you let them.

I found a deal too good to be true via Angie's List for a $39 service from RS Andrews. The name invoked bad memories from the past.

We had RS Andrews as part of our home warranty service when we moved into our home way back in 1998. Their service back then was what I'd describe as hit-or-miss. I can say that now because being new home owners back then we did not have any frame a reference as to what would constitute good or great service. As time went on their service to us gradually became worst, to where we decided to drop them all together.

S0 I'm on Angie's List looking at this great offering and when I found out it was THEM again, I decided to read reviews. I hoped that they got new management or changed their ways to warrant our service. After reading these reviews it seems to me that they have not changed much after all these years, so we are skipping these guys!

No regrets!

Air conditioner on main floor stopped working 0n 07/02/2016 at 3:00 pm and it was in the 90s outside.  Contacted several companies for service.   One scheduled me 2 weeks out.   RS Andrews was here the next day at 11:30 am (07/03/2016) and they had the unit running (charged with Freon) and cleaned the outside coils by 1:30 pm, paid and gone.   Still waiting to hear from the other companies to respond (Sad for them).

Only negative, they provided an expensive bill, but now I am on their priority list and signed up for yearly service FWIW and my wife is much happier with cool air again (and it is 96 degrees outside today and a holiday weekend).

Based on the very good reviews on Yelp, I called R S Andrews Services to schedule time to look at a leaking shower faucet on a Sunday afternoon. The following occurred during the phone conversation:

1. I was told that Sunday was considered after hours and that at $150.00 service fee would be added to the request for an examination and quote to the issue. I asked about scheduling during a time that was not after hours and was informed that Monday was not after hours.

2. I was also told that a $99.00 fee was standard for a plumber to come out and assess the issue, and that $30.00 of the $99.00 fee would be refunded from the cost of the repair. I said I did not like the $99.00 assessment fee and would like to talk about a negotiable price for the assessment.

3. I was then informed that if I was a member of their Smiley Club I would only be charged $59.00 rather than $99.00 for the assessment. I could still take advantage of the $30.00 off the final repair. I was further informed that Smiley Club members were residential households that did regular business with RS Andrews Services by having them come out once a year for maintenance.

4. One thing to know about me: I don't care for gimmicks like Savers Clubs whether they are for supermarkets, drug stores or another other product or service company. I, like many others, like things to be simple and straightforward, especially in business dealings.

5. The R S Andrews Services phone representative was not willing to offer me a lower cost or no cost incentive to schedule a time that was not after hours (i.e. Monday) even after I told her I could do better through one of her competitors.

At this point I called Royal Flush Plumbing, Inc and asked if I could schedule a time for them to come out to assess my leaking shower faucet during non after hours. The representative on the phone for Royal Flush Plumbing informed me that they do not have after hours and are available 24/7. She also informed me that they offer a free assessment of the issue as long as they don't have to get into the wall or something like that. Therefore, I scheduled a visit the same day (Sunday) and await the arrival of the Royal Flush Plumbing plumber. Check out my review of Royal Flush Plumbing, Inc.

RS Andrews installed a water heater 10 years ago.  Last week it stopped working.  I called and they had a man out that day.  He installed a new pressure valve under the house and a new expansion tank.  That night I had another cold shower.  I was not happy, so I called back.  Within a couple hours they had Mr. McPherson here.  He thoroughly explained why the previous work was done and proceeded to fix the water heater.  He was very knowledgeable and his professionalism was greatly appreciated.

I chose RS Andrews after doing my due diligence and reading reviews. I also communicated with Mr Diaz a few times to address my expectations and to ensure these concerns would be relayed to the installation crew. The crew arrived on time, they were professional and installed the loose fill insulation to the correct height to allow me to achieve the desired R value.  They replaced all cardboard baffles with styrofoam, added some baffles, and insulated my hatch door, as I had discussed with Mr Diaz. The job was done in a timely manner and they cleaned up after the installation. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to others in the market for attic insulation.

Scheduled an appointment a week ago for this morning between 9 and 12.  They still haven't shown up and will probably make it out here by 1.  I now get to waste my whole Saturday waiting and having them install a water heater that should have been done between 9 and 12 as promised.

From their satisfaction guarantee We never want to waste your time.  Too late for that I guess, hopefully the service will at least happen.

Service tech showed up and the first thing out of his mouth is that they would not be installing a water heater today.  No explanation as to why.  Then I was quoted $1600 to replace a water heater that costs $350.  Stay far away from this company, I guess they have to charge $1200 in labor for a three hour job to pay for all of those radio adds.

I have used RS Andrews for years. Most of their employees are competent at what they do. The concern I have now is that you have to watch them constantly when they are in your home. It never used to be that way. And I would always show the service rep where the furnace, AC system, plumbing area, etc. was, then leave them alone to work. In the last couple of years, they have stolen a bottle of liquor, a metal box that I kept valuables in, and a wrist watch from my bedroom. I have signed a service agreement with them, so will let them in my house while the agreement is in force since I paid for a full year. But I will stay with the person while they are in my house, then start using another company.

We used RS Andrews 3 years ago for HVAC maintenance, and was pleased with their service. However, the experience in the last year has left little desire to work with them in the future.  Back in the summer, we tried to schedule an appointment for HVAC service, and was told that they couldn't schedule anything for at least 3 weeks. Then this week, we tried to schedule an estimate for water heater replacement, the guy called the morning of the appointment saying traffic is too bad to make it to my side of the town at 8:30, so I rescheduled with him for the following day at 6pm. Then I received a call from the office the next day stating the plumber is not available for appointments this late. Why reschedule with me if the appointment time cannot be honored? We are disappointed in the direct RS Andrews has gone, and will be looking for another company to work with.

My Lennox main floor unit started blowing warm air Sat eve after all my units were serviced for AC less than 2 months ago by RS Andrews. Placed call Sunday AM and Tech came out Monday Afternoon. Tech quickly determined that capacitor was dead and quoted me $420 to replace it, not including the $79 service charge. I looked up replacement Lennox part for $53 online. Tech could do nothing other than give me 10% off since I had existing service membership with them bringing total down to $459. Called office and manager on duty would do nothing to help. Since it has been two days without unit work in 90+ degree July weather, I ate the cost to keep my family safe and healthy.
I have been a customer since 1999 and RS Andrews has serviced all my units and installed this unit.I am totally fine with paying reasonable costs for service,  but It is nothing short of thievery to charge me $460 for a part that took 15 minutes to install. I would not recommend RS Andrews and it just proves further that this industry is all about gouging people for 3-4 times the reasonable price.

I had a terrible experience with RS Andrews. I hired them to do several small plumbing jobs before we moved into a house we had just bought. The morning they were supposed to come, I was at work and missed their call. I called them back within 20 minutes.  After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, I got someone on the phone who informed me that they had given away my appointment time because I missed their call.  I reminded her that there was a lockbox at the house to which they had the code and that when i scheduled the appointment, they agreed that I did not have to be there because they could let themselves in.  The woman on the phone said that I had to sign a release and give her a credit card number right then if I was not planning to meet the plumber at the house. I gave her my credit card number on the phone and emailed her the release.  She said they would call just to let me know when the plumber was heading over to the house. Two hours later, they called to tell me that they were not going to my house that day.  They gave no reason for why except that the plumber we were sending was moving on to a job that was going to take him several hours.   They left me in a lurch and were completely unapologetic about it.  RS Andrews obviously cares nothing for customer service, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I have never used this service. Their quality may be phenomenal. However, I will never use this company as I watched a driver representing this company not pull over for emergency vehicles on 2 occasions. I hope that this employee is never in need of emergency care or if they are, those on the road at the time do not show the same disregard that this employee showed.
**This is not in direct relations to the company's actions, however their employee was representing them in one of their trucks with their name and information plastered all over it. Hoping the company will make strides to remind their employees to pull to the right for sirens and lights and that their actions represent the company as a whole.**

Andrew and Ben have repaired/installed an air conditioner/furnace and tankless water heater in my East Cobb home. All work was priced reasonably. More important to me is the fact that my utility bills are lower and I do not have to worry about the equipment because they were installed right the first time. I would definately hire again.

R S Andrews Services really made my day last Thursday!  We had a huge problem involving the sewer line under our front yard - and they came out right away to fix it.  The service person even showed me how to download a coupon!

On top of their excellent service, the bill was about half of what I had expected to pay!

We used Yelp to send out messages to several companies - love this addition by the way - RS Andrews was the 3rd company to contact us and the only one able to see us the next day. They gave us a 3 hour window and we're here within it. Called 30 minutes before hand to let us know they were on the way
Keith was our technician and he was professional, knowledgeable and informative of everything he was doing. Let us know about the twice yearly service available and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need.
We are COMPLETELY satisfied with the service we received and would recommend them to our friends. Heck, I am doing that right now!

* Technician was experienced, professional, and thorough.
* Problem resolved in one visit; routine maintenance performed too.

Cons:
* VERY pricey.

Good luck trying to schedule with these guys if you own a property with a tenant. Their diagnostic charge is $30 more right off the bat if you do not live in the property - regardless if you personally will be there to meet their service person for the visit.

We just moved into a new house and there a couple of little things we wanted to take care of (a drippy faucet, a slow drain, a faucet that wasn't tightly fitting on a sink- literally...THAT is the list).  R.S. Andrews got our business because they returned my call.  We set an appointment for 8:30 to 9:30 arrival today.

While I had another vendor in my house last night for electrical, I received a call from R.S. Andrews to confirm.  I did not answer because I was busy and knew we were not planning on changing the appointment.

This morning,  I got a call from them and the woman calling said, we've been trying to get ahold of you (2 back to back calls at 7:14 and 7:15 last night), do you still want us to come?  Um.  Yes.  I don't routinely  make appointments for the hell of it...or just in case...or because I'm lonely and want more people intruding.  (I held in all of those responses but yes- pat on the back for me).  The caller said, oh, ok, we will try to get someone out there soon.  It was 8:40 am.

The plumber arrived at 10, no apologies-  Looked at our faucet, said there was nothing he could do to fix it;  Said he would charge us $400 to snake the slow drain and said he couldn't tighten the faucet.  My wife smartly said Thanks, but no Thanks.  And then, did the one thing I wouldn't and paid him for the visit.  I'm calling them now to get my money back because I could have done what he did.

DO NOT TRUST DALE ON THIS ONE.

UPDATE:  First, someone named Brad tried to call my wife one, maybe two times and I attempted to call him back and got no response.  I'm sorry but I work and sleep odd hours and obviously have had more important things to do than chase someone down to discuss something that can't be changed with someone who won't answer the phone.

Thanks for clarifying some of those items,  however regarding the prices I did get more quotes than just the big box and yours was still not competitive.  That is why I posted them so others can judge for themselves since you advertise flat-rate service.  I'm not sure if there are other options for toilets but the Cimeron was not described to me and both locations were not places that I would spent to have the Cadillac of toilets anyway.  I just wanted something that would meet the county requirements.  Regardless this was part of the lack of communication

Thanks again for taking the time to respond it the public forum.  At this point all the facts should be on the table so anyone reading can judge for themselves.

Had them here 2 weeks ago to replace leaking hot water faucet on washing machine. Quoted price $354.00 for a simple replacement of a $9.00 part. After questioning, price reduced to $270.00 rip off. Called to complain... still waiting for a reply. Also have a contract for HVAC check up twice yearly. Always telling me I must have replacement parts. Constantly telling me to replace furnace... They come across as threatening. Won't use them again.

$89.00 to arrive and not set foot in the house.  Checked the unit outside and said no Freon.   Next said need to fill with Freon at $1000 and then pay a $300 leak test after that.  Then pay for part and labor if found after that.   The real cost of that Freon is $150.   I paid my $89 to feel ripped off and told him to go.

Misleading advertising and exorbitant after hours pricing.  Do not bother if you live in a high rise and its after 5pm.  At $189 per hour-(PER HOUR)-not including parts, I'll stick with my adequate ceiling fans.  Can you say heatwave profiteering ?  Never again R.S. Andrews.  Never.  Ever.  Again.

Michael at R.S. Andrews quoted me a $249 fee to service my Rinnai tankless water heater and when the plumbers came out the total charge came to $388.  I consider that a bait and switch and stealing from customers.  They say I was charged a trip fee because I also wanted an estimate for replacement of some bath fixtures which took about 10 minutes.  Since I was charged a trip fee that I wasn't told about there is no way I would do any more business with a company that uses bait and switch tactics like this.  I highly recommend that you find another honest company to deal with.

After lodging a complaint with R.S. Andrews, I was informed that the $99 trip fee would be refunded so we shall see how that goes.

We had been loyal RS Andrews customers for years. They are pleasant and prompt. HOWEVER - they are only interested in large jobs and in convincing you that your systems need major (expensive) repairs. Every single time - and I do mean every time they would come for a seasonal servicing their repairmen acted more like used car salesmen. We started getting second opinions and SURPRISE - RS Andrews was always recommending repairs or entirely new systems when small servicing is all we needed. They recommended that we get an entirely new cooling system and quoted us a couple thousand dollars (and told us it was a matter of days when the whole system would break down). We just got two other second opinions and each one told us it was a simple repair that would cost less than $200. Be very suspicious whenever RS Andrews recommends anything.

I was told that the technician was on his way, but he didn't show up for another 1.5 hours.  He spent five minutes and said that he would call me later with an update and he did not.  I called the office and they said that he would call within ten minutes.  He did not.  He called later, just to tell me that he would email later with a job proposal after consulting with someone else what needed to be done. He did not.  I never received that email.  Not a call.  Nothing.  I don't think this technician is seasoned.  If he is, then I smell discrimination.  I called another company and their technician was on time, took one look, and knew exactly what needed to be done.

Called RS Andrews.... Water was overflowing from the pan.  Tech came, looked at it and called me.  You need a whole new unit.  I was like, my unit still blows cold air and works fine.  I just wanted to see if he had an idea why the water was overflowing from the pan.  He stated that he could get an engineer over to my house and give me an estimate on a new unit.  I told him NO.  I came home that night and found out the water line was clogged.  I blew into the pvc pipe to unclog it and BAM.  It was fixed.  Water starting going down the pipe and to the outside again.  Waste of my time and waste of money to have the TECH come out and look at it.

RS Andrews did reach out after we got our realtor involved. They explained they did try to previously reach out and leave a message (which I did not receive) but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here. They sent out a technician next day who found the disconnected pipe. They explained that it wasn't properly braced (shouldn't this be caught in inspection?) and could have been connected at the time of the initial inspection and bumped or pulled out of place since. I suppose it's possible but we've had another vendor notify us of standing water in the crawlspace before any work on the house was performed, information we naively disregarded. Regardless, the technician fixed the pipe, reinforced it, and checked for any additional leaks as I ran all the fixtures in the house. The manager also called to apologize and ensure everything was properly taken care of. So a bit of a mess but in the end they were willing to fix any mistakes that had occurred.

Beware of this company and their Special Club Member program.   If you do not like the service and discontinue, they convert the service to a one-time visit for a much higher charge and keep the balance.  They offer NO written indication of this policy on their materials, by their own admission.   They work to scare you and with fear to buy more services from them. NOT recommended.

Murphy's Law states that your heat will fail you when the temperature drops to 23 and the AC will conk out as the mercury soars above the 100 mark. And that's exactly what happened to me this year. Yup, I got hit twice: in the summer AND the winter. As I lay in bed sweating last July, I was sure I was screwed. Dollar signs danced cruelly in my head. I called up friends, read reviews, asked around and finally decided on R.S. Andrews. Despite it being the busiest time of year to request a service call, they came out right away and phoned me several times throughout the day to keep me apprised of where my tech was and how much longer it would be before he arrived. Tyrone, my technician, was awesome. He fixed the problem (a bad capacitor) in 20 minutes for just over $100. I'd like to think that I would have gotten this same deal from any company I called but, sadly, I can see some fly-by-night operation knocking on the door of a gal whose knowledge of HVAC is far below average and, well, maybe upping the price a bit. Not R.S. Andrews though. They are an established company, they charge reasonable prices, and all of their technicians undergo background checks, so you can be sure that the person who is checking out your duct work didn't just get out on parole. So when I sat shivering in my living room earlier this winter, deciding what to do was really a no-brainer. I called and asked for Ty to come back. I got the same great service. If you have an HVAC or plumbing problem, I would recommend R.S. Andrews (Ty for HVAC, Ben for plumbing). They are the best in the business!

Horrible scheduling nightmare with this company . Started on a Saturday I had sent a request for what I thought was maintenance, which the business response was did I want a new unit ? By that time the AC had quit putting out cold air all together. I've went back and forth on Sunday and Monday scheduling , oh and not to mention the call I had on Sunday stating he can send someone out for $200 to diagnose but NOT repair , that would have to wait till Wednesday. So on Monday I received a call stating I cancelled an appt which I hadn't . Gets to the day off to a call from them that again I have to change because the person isn't able to complete it today and will be Friday???? Wth is wrong with business nowadays? Do they not want the work?

Dealing with this company is a nightmare.  All of the interactions felt like we were involved in a scam.  There is no follow up.  The plumber basically wanted to replace everything and gave us an estimate of thousands of thousands of dollars.  Interestingly, we later got 2 other estimates and both the other plumbers (which were highly recommended and had superior service) disagreed.  They said it was like they were not only price gouging but looking to do unnecessary work.  What was amazing was that the other 2 plumbers were similar in price quotes and also all recommended the same repairs.  RS Andrews has declined over the years.  We had used them off/on for over a decade but will not use them again.  (Oh yeah, and they were an hour late too after we waited all morning).  Companies would be better to extend their windows than to have people upset because they're so late

They have been servicing my mom ACHVAC since 2006.  Started with new unit installed followed by several repairs and coil replacements. I found it strange as I line out of town but in May I found out they wanted to replace the unit after several visits of trying to determine where the Freon leak is from.  Within first month of the new unit, guess what! Another leak! Yes in a brand new unit. So they came and replaced the coil on a brand new unit after they told me that they found the leak.  I have never seen a coil need to be replaced on a brand new unit. I spoke to Mr Andrew who said it is not uncommon to have bad coil on a new unit. I hate to say this but dealing with several buildings at work and with AC units Maintinence, I warned him him they are missing something. ....2 weeks later, out of Freon again! After several visits determined leak is in the Cooper wires in the attic meaning the old unit never needed to be replaced! Mom is making monthly payment on a $5700 new unit. I spoke to the tech David...they  will not admit  what happened. They stopped sending summery of repairs for last few visits.  Previous unit also needed several repairs. At least 3 new coils.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Had leak in water service line.  They came out and quoted $675 to repair or $100 to do nothing and leave.  Repair took less than 1 hour and less than $10 in parts.  Service tech cut out and replaced 4 inches of plastic pipe.  Cost was way out of line with what would have been fair.  I think they took advantage of my being out of town and wife was home without water.  Will never use them again for anything and advise others to look elsewhere.

I am not sure it this company can get a rating since I had them come out for an estimate and they never responded with an estimate, I can only assume the job was to small for them.
I can rate them on the lack of courtesy in replying with an estimate or the reason they could not do the estimate, so for this reason I give them the lowest rating.  If you visit a patron for an estimate, please provide said estimate because you never know the patron might have friends that need work or the patron might need other work done besides the small job.

I called to set up an inspection for a home I was purchasing and under contract for and was told that they would not complete a home inspection since I had not purchased the home yet, which completely defeats the purpose of a home inspection prior to purchasing a home. This company either doesn't want business or has incompetent people working for them. Either or, skip this company and find one that understands a customer's needs.

We've used them in the past but not again.  In exasperation I had to push for qualified tech.  He was savvy and began by selling new units - no!  Ultimately, in order to get work done in the heat we had to sign a 2 or 3 year service contract and join their VIP (?) club.  A $300 job cost me over $1,000 and no followup.
I consider this the profile of the All American HVAC rip-off.

Friday night, 6PM, 80 degrees outside, slowly becoming 80 degrees inside. Call my current HVAC company that I have a contract with, can't come until next Thursday to look at....so much for 24/7 emergency service. Look on Yelp and Angie's List, RSAndrews at top of best reviews, call at 9:30PM asking for emergency service, expect to hear new customers can be seen by Monday, Oscar arrives at 10:30 PM, AC working again by 11PM! Sign up for new yearly contract and pay for emergency service, both total about $360. Goodbye old company with a week long wait for emergency service, hello RS Andrews! You got my business! We called them a few weeks ago to have a basic maintenance done on the ac/heating units and to get a quote on having the whole house air ducts and dryer vent air ducts cleaned. They came out the same day for the heating and air maintenance, and called me a day or two later with a quote for the air ducts. I had called a couple other companies as well and they were around the same price give or take a few dollars for the heating and air maintenance but had a ton of reviews so we chose them and they blew everyone else out of the water with the pricing for the air duct cleaning, (except for one company that was wayyyyy lower than everyone else and that made me a little suspicious of that company LOL)

Well we got our dryer vent duct cleaned today and we held off on doing the whole house for just a little bit but I am very pleased with the work and my dryer now is working properly, drying the clothes in just one go round.

The guys that did the work were very professional and answered all my questions.

** warning... They informed me that you should clean your dryer ducts once a year and that issues with the dryer is the number one cause of housefires!

Don't waste your time or money on this company. They prey on people that are ignorant as to their HVAC units. Their prices and service suck. It took me 2 months to get an appoint for a maintenance on my HVAC heat unit, which I had paid $167.00 and when they did come they suggested another $1,000 of work on a 3 and 1/2 year old unit. Their prices were 10 times higher than their competitor's. Expensive lesson learned, always read ALL reviews.

Tony (sorry, it was Tommy not Tony) came out to evaluate the house for a new HVAC system. He was over confident of himself and he stated the number of years the company had been in business like that deserves my respect. He also did not recognize that some of the duct work was capped off and inefficient. I had couple of other companies come out before RS Andrews. Bartlett Heating and Air did my installation and I'm so glad I used them instead of RS Andrews. They installed all new duct work and the Carrier system to perfection. Dinosaurs like this guy from RS Andrews don't realize that reviews like this matter more than a 48 year old ego in the 21st Century. Oh I forgot to mention, Tony never even emailed RS Andrews quote to me. Steer clear folks! After the owner responded I realized I got the tech's name wrong. It was Tommy not Tony.

First time using this service and I was very unsatisfied. Tech came out promptly, spent 3 hours trying to figure out why my heat was not working. Eventually called another tech out. Within 10 minutes the other tech found the problem, low voltage wire. I was charged 384 dollars to replace the wire. I had to leave for work before they were finished so I asked him to leave receipt for me. The receipt said he charges me 364! Actually he didn't know how to add and his math added another 10 bucks. So I was overcharged 30 dollars. On top of that the heat was not working when I got home. He had turned emergency heat on and had it set at 78. When I called to find out the problem he told me I needed a new system! My system was serviced in the spring and was perfectly fine. About the money he said he wrote the wrong amount down and I was charged the right price. When asked to speak to a supervisor I was transfered then he took my number down and gave it to the tech who came out. After contacting another service they were able to fix the problem, same problem that RS  Andrews said they fixed for a total of 165 bucks. Won't be using RS Andrews again.

I have been using R S Andrews for about 18 years.  I have air flow problems which reduce the heat/AC in certain rooms, and I carefully explained this to the last two RS Andrews technicians who came out for the semi-annual maintenance.  Neither fixed it, and each gave me a different reason that it could not be fixed.  I was frustrated and unhappy with what I considered non-answers.  Recently I had the winter service, and I told Keith about the problem, and how I was considering going to another company after all these years.  Keith spent an extra half hour in the small crawl space, and using his experience and ingenuity, found the kink and solved the problem.  And he kept a loyal customer for this company.  Keith is terrific.

We are remodeling our home so we contacted RS Andrews.

Plumbing
They have plumbed our new bathroom and renovated powder room. And also installed a tankless hot water heater. Cody and Brad are amazing - we could not be happier.

HVAC
The plumbing team found a big issue with our duct work under the house. They let us know so we had the HVAC team come out for a quote. They installed a new system for us in a couple of days. It works like a charm ... a big improvement over our 18 year old system. They also cleaned up our upstairs duct work and moved the vents for the remodeled room. All very well done.

Overall
R.S. Andrews is very competent and they are professionally managed. Their employees are all first class. They are skilled, care about their work, keep you informed, do what they say and when they promised to do it. They are not the cheapest. But they deliver quality, worry free work.

We will definitely use them again and we highly recommend them.

Nope. After calling to reschedule with me twice, I took off work to be home during their preferred and scheduled work window (which was 3.5 weeks out from the first time I called.) They did not show up and called three hours AFTER my window to tell me they would be another hour. Uhhhh, no. I have kids to pick up, I have a job, and I can find more reliable assistance. I went to them first because a friend told me about them, but I guess his bar is either really low or he magically got serviced.

This company is one of the worst when it comes to plumbing.  We wanted tankless water heaters throughout our home and were advised against it from a technician.  We trusted the technician and went forward with their advice.  The day after installing the new water heaters we were left with cold water for over a month.  We hoped it would get better on its own and traveled only to return a month later with the same issue.  We specifically requested a different technician only to be met by the same tech that did the bad install job, but this time was met with an attitude by the technician.  We were given a promise by Brad, the manager, that the issue would be resolved.  The second technician came around and somewhat resolved our hot water issue, but it was still worse than it was before we hired RS Andrews.  We decided with our bad luck to bite the bullet and be left with our situation as the manager told us if we weren't satisfied with our product that they would promise their 100% satisfaction guarantee (as seen on their website) or our money back.  Flash forward months later, we find a reputable plumber outside of RS Andrews who actually corrects their issues caused since we have no faith or trust in RS Andrews to get the job done.  We decide to call RS Andrews to remove the water heaters as we're not 100% satisfied and they deny that they offer the guarantee even though it is advertised plain as day on their site.  In all my years of working and dealing with vendors, specifically, plumbers, these guys are the absolute worst.  I would leave zero stars if possible.  Best of luck to anyone who decides to deal with this headache of a company.

Thomas Hardeman now works for this company. He used to own Plumbit but unfortunately had to close it down due some mishaps, he's a wonderful plumber and highly recommend him.   RS Andrews is the company he now works for, and has many plumbers working for them. I requested Thomas because I used him in the past and I know he does quality work! He's honest, efficient and cleans up after he is done. Super nice guy and I'll be requesting him to come back to install my water heater !
Company is very nice and has dispatcher call and confirm ETA of the repair person. If they're running late they will call and tell you. It's a big company so I'm thinking they get a lot of calls, I had to call a few times to get someone to answer because agents were helping other clients. But it's ok rather get a live agent then leave a Voicemail.
