Wonderful experience! If it were not for my finances, I would almost wish to have a plumbing issue. My water heater drain valve started leaking. I called two companies strongly recommended by my neighbors. The first one was charging $69 to come see the problem and would not give me a price range over the phone for the replacement of the drain valve or the water heater. The second one (Lloyd Johnson) went beyond anything I was expecting. Not only did the person (Mike) answered all of my technical questions and gave me a price range for both the repair and the replacement, but he advised to first go to Home Depot, buy a $2.3 piece and try to fix the problem myself (he couldn't guarantee it would work without taking a look at the drain valve, but indeed that was worth a try if that could save me to hire a plumber). He spent 15-20mn answering my questions (with no guarantee I would call back).
The Home Depot piece didn't work so of course I called Mike back. He was super helpful. When I told him I wanted a specific heater (and not one of the ones his company offers) he was willing to meet me at the store to pick it up (my car is too small). He helped me choose, was patient, tried to get me a discount (he happened to know someone at that store which I had selected!). He never charged me for the extra time spent there. At the end I ended up paying less than what he had quoted me. He was punctual, helpful, very professional, and kept giving me tips to save money in the long run (he'll be the first person to tell you when you don't need to buy something). Absolutely GREAT! I've heard anyone who works there is very good, but I know I'll call Mike if I ever have a plumbing issue again.
