Had some work done in my front yard 2-3 years ago cause the water pipe was leaking near the sidewalk. Now it's leaking again and I paid $800 to get it fixed, come to find out the plumber told me that a lot of the parts weren't even supposed to be used for something underground, and that's why it happened again so soon. Called the company and no call back. Would love some communication on this.Thanks

My experience with them has been nothing less than stellar and I'm extremely pleased and happy with their services. Scheduling an appointment with Chris was such an easy affair and right from the start it gave me the vibes and impression of a genuine,honest and trustworthy firm.Roy arrived on time and knew exactly what needed to be done.He was very friendly and knowledgable. He identified some other issues as well which would have been overlooked and left un-attended. The fixes were done in a timely manner and the prices were quite reasonable. I would highly recommend them to friends and neighbors or anybody who is in need of a plumbing job.

Originally, I received a quote of $1,700 from another company to fix/replace a pipe I had in my front yard. They went on and on about all the work they had to do in order to repair the water leak. I was shocked by their price so I had to at least speak with another company for my own piece of mind.

I called Good Ol'Boys Plumbing and Chris came to my house within two hours. He quickly identified the problem and proposed a different solution (a much smarter solution, at that). He gave me a quote of $950. At this moment, I felt so comfortable with Chris that I was ready to pull the trigger but I told him I would get back to him. He politely followed up two days later just to see where I was at and I told him I would get back to him once again. I spoke with two other companies who began giving me the same run-around as the first company and I finally decided to go with Chris.

When I told Chris I wanted to move forward with him, he was very appreciative of the opportunity and arrived promptly with his two man crew. They quickly got to work and the job was completed fairly quick. They did not slack, take excessive breaks or do anything to cause a negative experience. They were all very personable and professional.

Roy was extremely pleasant. I felt very comfortable with him in my home.  They installed my new garbage disposal and replaced the sink strainer from the other side. They did this for $225.  Great work and easy to work with.  I've already recommended them to a friend!!!

Very good experience. Spoke to Chris on the phone about a leaking water heater, a couple hours later Roy (who is very pleasant and great at his job) was at my home with a new water heater and had it installed and running in no time. The price was reasonable and I don't have to sleep worrying about water leaking all over my floor all weekend while waiting for someone else to come fix it next week. Highly recommend.

This company was recommended to me by a trusted family member, so I did not thoroughly investigate it as I normally would.  I had an emergency job at a rental property.  Another large company went out first and charged me for a consultation, and then proceeded to try and upsell everything rather than do the work I stated needed to be done.  A quick call to Chris with the quotes I was given and he not only beat the price but promised to get the work done that day.  My tenant was very pleased with the work.  And I was happy as he beat the competitors quote by 25%.

2 days later (Thursday), I discovered a leak in my pipes in Dunwoody.  Saturday morning they were there and did a quick job fixing the leak (water bill over $1000 from  usual $75) without any unnecessary digging in my yard.  I will gladly recommend this company to my friends.  Good honest work for a very fair price.

Look guys...I needed to change a water heater and modify its pipes and connections (gas,drain, expansion tank, etc.). After I quoted the work with multiple plumbing companies I received quotes only for the labor in all the possible range (from $2,500 to $800). I was extremely disappointed because coming from the mechanical/technical world I knew they were overcharging me as crazy.
After reading the reviews I decided to contact these guys. And everything other customer say is true, Chris answer my questions super fast he allow me to send him pics and explanation of the work needed by text message and gave me a quote through the same way. More than reasonable price and no hidden costs. At the end I bought the heater and installation with them. Next day they were at my home installing the device.
Roy, the person who came to install the heater and modify the pipes was amazing. He knew what he was doing and was able to explain each step to me. Also he didn't take shortcuts and was very thorough in everything he did. Was really a pleasure to deal with him.

My recommendation is quote with a lot of companies if you want. But always check with these guys....honest...reasonable price and extremely professionals.

Called for a quote on some work. To get out to Lawrenceville I was looking at a two week wait. No thanks. They were nice on the phone tho'.

I called today in an absolute panic after discovering a plumbing leak in our unfinished (thankfully) basement.  I didn't have a go to plumber but I knew I needed someone ASAP. I called and Chris answered.....asked me if I could text him a picture of the leak. Within minutes he responded that they could be there in 30 minutes. He also texted me the exact price, which I appreciated.  Repair was made and they were in & out in probably less than 30 minutes.  I highly recommend Good Ol Boys and can now say I have go to plumber.

I called them because of the good reviews.  I guess they helped attract a lot of business.  I've called and left voicemails twice over the past week and never received a call back.  At least call back and say you're over booked and take on any more work.  Wasted my time.  Don't waste yours.

Called for a leaking toilet and they came within a couple of hours. That's a great service! They were able to identify the problem and recommend a couple of options for repair or replacement. The repair. was quick.

If you need a plumber, trust me, don't bother to call anyone else.  These guys are responsive, efficient, reasonable and most importantly, honest. I called desperate one evening about 5:00pm.  We had a large external leak at the water service entry to the house and we were supposed to leave town the next day for 10 days.  Spoke to Chris, he gave a very reasonable quote over the phone. I asked if he could come see it in person.  

Roy showed up an hour later and worked past 9pm fixing the leak.  He just showed up, got to work and honored the quote Chris gave over the phone.  It was too dark to put some of the landscaping back in place, so he even came back the next day and finished.  

Can't say enough how much I appreciate and respect Good Ol Boys Plumbing.  If you want to be taken for a ride, call the other guys. If you want to feel like you've got a really skilled family member helping you out at a reasonable rate, call Chris and Roy.

Called today for some plumbing stoppages and they(josh)  came right out and fixed our issues,  as well as did a first home plumbing inspection. Very professional and courteous!

I used the Good Ol' Boys to remove and replace a broken tub. Chris, David, and Dylan were all extremely friendly and responsive. They were very patient and able to do a lot of the communicating through text and photos, which is helpful if you are trying to work. I felt very comfortable with them in my house, and the finished product looks great. I have known other people who have recently had tubs installed and the tubs end up feeling flimsy and cheap. Good Ol' Boys, on the other hand, did an extremely thorough job. The tub is solidly installed and beautiful. Highly recommend!

I called around lunch to check if there was any availability to have someone come out to disconnect my kitchen sink plumbing same day in prep for countertop installation.  They were able to arrive by 3PM, provided great professional service, completely the job promptly and even recommended/explained a few updates that would be necessary with a new sink install.  I'll definitely be using their services again in the future.

My neighbor's water service line broke. I'm in a condo. The line ran across my lot, specifically under my walkway. I was not looking forward to broken cement and mud dug up and sitting on my lawn. Once the break was located the Good Ol' Boy Plumbers cut the cement at the seam and in the center of the slab. They flipped the slab, dug up the soil and placed soil on a tarp. They fixed the broken line and after everything settled a cement contractor flipped back that segment of the walk and I don't have a patch job to look at. So happy they didn't demolish the walkway.

Roy does great work. Tip him good . You cant beat the price for what you get. They also have water tanks that they dont sell at homedepot or lowes that are much better quality.

Mr. Chris was phenomenal. I called the day before, a Friday, with my issue which was my pipes sounding like a cruise ship anytime water was turned on. He walked me through some steps I could take over the phone and was very patient. He did tell me it may not solve the problem, but it was worth a try. He told me if the issue came back I would be more than likely need a new PRV. The problem was solved for a little while. Then a couple of hours later, the sound returned. I called on Saturday around 12:30pm to tell him of my issue. He was here at 4:15pm, fixed my issue, was very knowledgeable of what he was doing, he was super friendly, and he fixed it in no time and for less than another company had quoted me. If you need an honest, reliable, friendly plumber, Mr. Chris at Good Ol' Boys Plumbing is the man for the job. Thank you so much Mr. Chris! The cruise ship has set sail and that horrible noise is gone!

Amazing company. Great service. Cannot say a single bad thing. They are literally the best plumbing company around. Fair and honest.

I posted this initial review a few months ago and wanted to share an update and i guess i don't know how to do that correctly on yelp.  So just doing this.  The paragraph in the beginning is the first review and the follow up is the Edit paragraph.

They are very good at honoring warranties. Extremely fair prices. Very good.  They really do a great job.  They seem to focus on hiring honest people.  People of character who have ethics. You will pay 3 times the amount with other companies.  If you want to over pay and get rushed crap work go with someone else.  It's unfortunate they have so few reviews.  Probably because most people go with larger companies that simply pump out clients for the cash flow.  I made that mistake and it was terrible. It's the third time using them and they are wonderful.  Probably the best plumbing company I have found.  It's not about spitting out as many people they can over charge.  It's about doing quality work and customer satisfaction.  Will use this company for all issues they are able to work on.  Also will recommend them to everyone.  Good work/pricing/service will always get a random recommendation and conversation as a starter.

Edit: Noticed there were a few reviews that are negative because they had a wait time or couldn't agree on a date.  I have used them 4 times total now and they are still really good. Honor their warranty. I literally created this yelp account to compliment them. I see people complaining because they are booked. That's like complaining about a restaurant because they couldn't squeeze you in because of prior reservations.  Or complaining about an ice cream shop you never been to for running out of a flavor.  Great company, great service, great all around.  The only negative is they recommended a company to unclog my pipes that were horrible.  Beyond horrible!  That's not their fault but the company they recommended I would never use again.  They can't control the quality of work done outside their business but maybe stray away from the company they recommend for rooting pipes.  Other than that anything they do I recommend thus far.

Tried to get them to service my property in Alpharetta but could not agree on a time initially. Did not respond to further inquiries made.

Great service and good value. Took the time to explain in laymans terms the ins and outs of my new water heater.  I would recommend them to anyone wanting top notch service and reasonable price. Thank you.
