ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

After serving his country as a US Marine, Melvin attended technical school in Arizona for plumbing and HVAC. After completing school Melvin worked for a top notch plumbing company in the Phoenix area. After moving to Georgia and working for a few plumbing companies he realized that nobody ran their operation as well as the Arizona company.

In 2003, Melvin and his wife Melissa, also a veteran, founded Allgood Plumbing, a business driven by the philosophy of treating people the way they would want to be treated, which is a goal that Allgood continues to operate by today.

In 2013, Allgood Plumbing added electric services and technicians, becoming Allgood Plumbing and Electric. The company continues to grow, and added HVAC services in January 2016, at the request of many of their valued and loyal customers.

Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Cooling currently has over 50 licensed and experienced team members who share the company values.

This was a time i needed good service the most and it was supplied.
As we were on vacation our kitchen and washer clogged up and over flowed
James came out and took care of all our needs
Their team understood we were out of town and went beyond the call of duty to schedule this with our house sitter and it was great
Have been using them for four years and will continue to do so

An active leak occurred after a simple connection and they have rescheduled 6 times.

It is unfortunate to see a company that used to be wonderful, responsive and customer service driven fall so far from where they once were. I have used Allgood, Now ARS Rescue Rooter of Atlanta for almost a decade starting with a plumbing job. it was great to hear they did HVAC service so I had a great company to turn to should I need that. Over the years I have used them for installing tankless water heaters, repair HVAC units and various plumbing jobs. When I installed a new vanity in my home I only called one company. I recieved a call prior to our first scheduled visit and was rescheduled from a Saturday to a Tuesday. Luckily, I had other functional bathrooms so it was ok. The tech showed up and did great work...so far so good.

Later that evening I noticed a small leak. I called Allgood, Now ARS Rescue Rooter of Atlanta who scheduled a return visit the next day. Allgood, Now ARS Rescue Rooter of Atlanta called and had to reschedule two days out due to a scheduling conflict. I understood. Things happen. From this point I was rescheduled 2 more times... I am now over a week with an active leak in my home. The scheduling department promised they would not reschedule again... yet they rescheduled now 3 additional times. That is 6 total times in a two week period for an active leak that was created from their service call to connect some pipes.

It is extremely frustrating especially as a long time customer to be treated like this. I am guessing ARS Rescue Rooter of Atlanta does not care anything about any aquired customers. The last time I was asked to reschedule I said, No and asked to speak with a supervisor...I waited on hold for an hour and then was told they would call me. Needless to say no one has contacted me at all.

Find another plumber because it is clear they will not stand behind their work.  Avoid allgood and ARS Rescue Rooter as it is the same company now. I will be leaving reviews for this service disaster on both pages.

Do not use this company - their prices are insanely expensive!!!
I had a plumber come to my house yesterday to auger my drain and fix my garbage disposal. It took the technician about 5 minutes to fix the disposal and about 10 minutes to auger the drain. When he finished he remarked that both jobs were much easier than he anticipated. Despite that, I was charged $338.02 for approximately 20 minutes worth of work (and this included an online discount)! I called the manager to complain and did not receive the courtesy of a returned phone call. While I have no complaints about the quality of work, I simply cannot justify paying $338 for 20 minutes of work. That is outrageous! Needless to say, I do not recommend this company.

ALLBAD plumbing, simple clogged drain, Ivan from allgood shows up flushes the toilet a few times claims drain cleared itself, 2 mins after he leaves the water is backing up.  ALLBAD sends him back out the next day then he claims drain leader to street need to be cleared, $415 later he says line is broken ( which I had replaced 9 months prior) so no sweat that replacement is covered. I called prior company they came out found no broken pipe cleared the blockage for $300, thanks ALLBAD plumbing never again, STAY AWAY EVERYONE

After having a no-name plumber come to the residence and still having a leak issue, contacted Allgood. Very friendly people from customer service all the way to the plumber.  They were very prompt at addressing my issue. When the plumber came out, he initially couldn't find the issue but did not give up and was able to find it. He spotted other issues that needed looking into that he could not fix and notified us. We were able to get a lot of things taken care of because of his assistance. Would call again.

The company is totally awful and not professional. They assigned a plumbing technician contractor to me for fixing sewage issues, however, this technician didn't send me anything in writing or photos when he completed the work. He just spent 2 hrs to fix the sewage pipe and earned $1,800 easily and quickly, then walked away!

I contacted him thousand times but he always ignored me.

My property was not occupied after he fixed the sewage pipe until recently the foundation contractor found the sewage pipe is always leaking, which causes a lot of fleas at the crawlspace. I have to pay $2000 for the pest control and wildlife removal plus $3000 for leaking sewage pipe removal.

I called Allgood to find that technician back to my property to fix up the issue due to 1-year warranty, they said this guy already left the company and they can't contact him because he is a contractor. Allgood assigned me a plumbing supervisor last week to verify the previous job, however this person called Parker is totally a jerk, who always ignores my texts. I contacted him from last Wednesday to now every day, to make sure he can go to my property. Today he lied to me he's been to my property and told me previous job was done, however he didn't send me any proof.

Now, I have to pay for
- $2,000 for pest control;
- $3,000 for leaked sewage pipe removal;
- $350/day for foundation labor standby fee

God knows how much I have to pay later to fix up ALLGOOD worst work.

HOW CAN I TRUST ALLGOOD???

BTW, I'm an Asian, I wouldn't like to escalate my issue to a sensitive level, but I hope ALLGOOD can focus on my issue and reimburse my financial loss.

ALLGOOD, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!

Folks who see my review, please DON'T DON'T DON'T use any service from ALLGOOD, they are a bad, worse, worst company in the world!!

I updated the air conditional of my rental house the year before last year. The company charged more than 8,000 dollars for installing a new AC. Last year, when the weather got hot, my tenant couldn't start the AC. We had the tech came over and blamed us for this and that. This year, the AC was not  on by itself again. The company charges us for tech visits. I never had an AC with SO MANY problems. We change filter every two and half months. What else should we do? We are not professionals. The AC should work automatically like all other ACs in the world. This company is not professional.

Outragously expensive!  I was told there was a $39 fee for coming and looking, but they didn't tell me the estimate would be an additional fee, $170, and he was here 30 minutes.  The estimate was for over $1400 for all of the requested services.  A local plumber did the same work, with excellent quality at $485.  WOW!

Another  great service experience with all good plumbing. We had used them in the past for some renovation work so when we had significant water damage this time we called them to see if they could help. Ken was fantastic and I was completely comfortable with him and his team in my home. They were quick to respond to my request for a quote and once I decided to use them they started the next day. Happy to recommend to others.

TL:DR; The electrician who came by was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, didn't rush the work, and guaranteed what he did. What he did, however, was virtually nothing except up-sell me, leaving me to feel as though I've been ripped off.

The lights in several fixtures in my hallway were (and are) flickering, and in other rooms, bulbs burned out exceptionally quickly. I called Allgood, who set me up with an appointment rather promptly. The electrician showed up within the expected time frame, and showed great interest in my dog and my job, &c., offering pleasant conversation. These are nice, but explicitly not what I am paying for when I seek to get back to that job.

He never touched the flickering fixtures, and never touched the quick-to-burn-out fixtures. He plugged a $10 receptacle tester into a few outlets and informed me there was nothing wrong with any wiring anywhere in the house. However, as soon as we began talking about the possibility of power fluctuations, he was quick to suggest we install a whole-home surge protector. This work was done quickly and, as far as I can tell, satisfactorily, but at the end of the appointment, it sure felt like I spent nearly $300 on a whole lotta nothin'.

So my prayers to the lightning spirits who live in my walls and make my xbox work have doubled.

I hired this company on the recommendation of a trusted neighbor.

The tech came out and he diagnosed a faulty pressure regulating valve.

That's when the trouble started.

He didn't have the replacement part on him so we waited a few days and he returned, did the replacement.

All seemed well so I went out of town for a week and a half.

I got back in town and disaster.

The beloved wood floor that I had installed were discolored, and water damaged. (See photos)

There was a massive water damage from a (see videos).

Let me state for the record, I am not handy, I will not under any circumstance touch  or attempt to do any repairs.

Allgood immediately denied any responsibility and promptly recommended and affiliated restoration company to do the restoration and repairs.

Allgood was not helpful and see primarily intent on generating work for the affiliated restoration company.

It was a nightmare. I had to hire a separate company to fox the damage done by Allgood.

The incontrovertible evidence is that when Allgood replaced the pressure regulating valve they damaged the Poole leading up to it and it created a massive leak in my home.

I encourage you not to do business with this company.

They said everything I wanted to hear on the phone.  Then when they showed up at our house - they didn't have the necessary equipment for the job.   It was for a second quote so we knew what to ask for when we called.  I specifically asked if they would be prepared to do the work when they arrived and Vanessa told me Yes.   I just called and spoke w Ashley.  I caught her in 3 minor lies in our one conversation in which her manager was either not at his desk or not answering his phone.  I say the second one was the true response.  So since I wasn't able to complain to their management - I'm letting you know here.   To explain my obvious irritation - my parents, who are elderly (my dad is disabled) had to move into a hotel bc of severe flooding.  My dad can't use a regular bed and a hotel is difficult at best w wheel chair and oxygen tank.  And my mom had to leave him there alone to meet the Allgood plumber - and now we are back to the beginning trying to find someone who can get out there to fix their house.

I first had AllGood come out for a repair my septic pump motor. The technician was friendly and professional. He informed me about the AllGood Service Plan for $34.00 per month to cover two services of my 3 air conditioning units, two services of my three furnaces, and an annual electrical and plumbing inspection. If you've paid for an inspection of an AC unit, it usually ranges from $65-$95 per unit so this made sense financially. The first AC inspection went well until the next day when I noticed that one of the units wasn't working. It was discovered that they had installed the fuse in backwards after cleaning the unit out. After the second inspection, I had to call them back after two days because one of the units was freezing up. This was caused by low freon and they charged me $400 to service the freon. A couple days later, another units started freezing up so I called my home warranty and they sent out a contractor who reported that this unit was low on freon. I called AllGood and after talking with the service manager, they discounted half the freon service charge. When I called to have the second unit refilled, they told me that they aren't responsible for leaks that develop in older units. I informed hi that the units passed their Pressure-Temp readings and all was well with the units until they disconnected their gauges. The technicians failed to test the service fittings to ensure that a leak had not started. If the unit was running properly and was fully serviced when they tested it and then low on freon after there service check, how was it my responsibility to pay for the cost of the freon? I have since cancelled the plan. It seems that they are more interested in getting follow-on work than customer service.

Read the recent reviews...don't be fooled by their overall rating.

Horrible first experience with this company. I had an appointment today for them to come out and install a smart thermostat and also a video/floodlight. Technician showed up, wasn't remotely friendly/nice and proceeded to tell me he could only install the floodlight and that a separate technician would have to come out and install the thermostat. I said fine, let's just go ahead and install the flood light and he then told me he couldn't do it today, that it would have to be some time next week and that today he could only provide a quote. I asked him how much and he told me $700!!!! First of all that's a ridiculous amount of money to install a floodlight. Second of all, why couldn't you just give me that quote on the phone? The quote was clearly prepared before he even walked in my front door. Why did I have to get home from work early to get an in person quote that was already pre-prepared? Such a joke. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I never write reviews, even when I have bad experiences but this was so egregious it made me furious enough to write a review.

Use this company if you want a terrible customer service experience, like wasting your own time and enjoy paying for dramatically over priced services.

Sincerely,
Jake Senkbeil

The only reason I went with them for a couple of things is because they do respond very quickly. The techs that come out are their only saving grace. They know what they're doing and are decent people. However, the pricing is so completely blown out of proportion. Can not get through a call without dropping at least $500 for something that takes probably no more than 30 minutes to complete. Ended up getting a couple of quotes for a water heater replacement and for the same job and same equipment, Allgood quoted $2000 over the other guys!!!!!!!! Not a couple of hundred, $2000!!!! Even after speaking with the manager and he worked with me, they were still crazy expensive. So, there are plenty of other companies out there that can do a decent job and not leave you bankrupt.

I have used AllGood Plumbing on 3 occasions.  I have been impressed with their professionalism and what I thought was their honesty...but now I'm unsure.

I was first introduced to AllGood when another company called them to repair a leak they had caused.  I was impressed with their professionalism.  I then called them to repair a problem at my Mom's with the bathroom fixtures.  Involved replacing valves so I didn't mind paying $700+ for the repairs.  And also, I wanted to get the problem finally resolved.  So far, it's resolved.

I then called them because I was experiencing a couple of minor issues at home.   The master shower would just trickle hot water but when turned fully on, only cold water poured out.  Also, the faucet handle in the other bathroom needed to be replaced.

I wound up needing to replace the house pressure relief valve and a cartridge in the master shower--I was not charged to replace the handle in the other shower.  All told, I paid close to $700.  I was ok with that until I used the shower in the master shower and found that when the house was built, the builder placed the water control on backwards!  I suspect AllGood simply corrected that, but I was charged for the cartridge replacement.  Also, reading another post, I now wonder if there was ever a need to replace the pressure relief valve.

I'm very disappointed and saddened.  I thought I'd finally found an honest company I could recommend to family and friends.  I cannot in good faith recommend AllGood.

I had Allgood out yesterday to check for any type of leaks I may have had. There was a mishap in my home 2 days prior. Dino D came out and he knew everything about his job.  He went through and checked things thoroughly and I was fine. I will also let him replace my toilet. They're kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for.

This is my review for them. It's long because they have not been responding so I have been write down what happen.
I called so many time to get in touch with one or any of their manager and they were not responsive. I don't understand how they were able to run their business if they cannot call back, or email costumer's concerns. I emailed the manager as well. I asked for their phone number and they claimed that they do not have manager's number.

This is my email letter to the manager. And still no response. Frustrating!

To: Jason Taylor,

My name is Crystal Cousineau, I have been a customer for ALLGOOD Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Cooling since 2017. We made an agreement that this company had my house replace all the wiring and install fire detectors and make sure that it is up to code. I was given a 10 year warranty on all parts and labor. Since then I had no problem with setting up appointments for minor replacements.

On September 15, 2021, I had my appointment between 10 to 2pm.  The electrician, Jorge, came after the window time, and checked the kitchen due to one light not working and the rest of the lights glitching. I explained that I have the 10 year warranty, and stated he would honor it and not charge me.  Jorge, your electrician, stated that he was going to replace all 6 lights in the kitchen and fix the light switch to see if that resolves the problem. He then explained that he cannot get it done due to parts he does not have. He asked for a preferred date for him to come back. I asked if he could come back on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 8 a.m.. He told me that it is too early and that he will come at 9 a.m. instead of 8 a.m., I accepted and he left. A few minutes later, he came back and informed me that there will be a $99 service fee for this.

On September 16, 2021, I called the company to ask about the fee and about my warranty. One of your representatives, Lubi, informed me that they will try to get hold of one of the managers and will call me the next morning before my appointment.

On September 17, 2021 prior to my 9 a.m. appointment, I called the company and spoke to a representative who was not able to verify if Lubi was able to get in touch with one of the managers.  I waited for the electrician to arrive, but he did not.  At 10:22 a.m.  I called the company to see where the electrician was, and the representative who answered the phone informed me that my appointment window was from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Since Jorge, the electrician, had told me that he will be here at 9 a.m., I had prior arrangements and could not wait, therefore I asked the representative to reschedule my appointment to Monday, September 20, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., which the representative agreed to.

On September 20, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. I called the company to discuss the service fee. The representative was still unable to reach one of the managers. Also, the electrician never showed up or even made a phone call to let me know that they would be late or need to reschedule at all.

Please look at our contract agreement on May 19, 2017 invoice #25068382

I called the company to check about the no show of the electrician.  The representative, Eden, is now checking with the dispatcher to see what's going on. She stated that the appointment is not until September 22, 2021. I asked that I want an appointment the following morning, Sept 21, 2021. The appointment was scheduled.

I am not sure what is happening but the lack of correspondence and attention to this matter from the company is unacceptable and unprofessional.  I would appreciate it if a supervisor would look at my contract agreement and verify that I should not be charged a service fee.  I would also like for the electrician to arrive during my set appointment and contact me if the electrician runs into some issues and is not able to come for the appointment.  You may reach me here or call me at ***-***-****.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Crystal Cousineau

On Sept 21, 2021. I got another no show.

On 4/15/22, T. Barrett with All Good came to our home and did a wonderful presentation. We were told about this grand HVAC system we could get installed; wifi controlled, different temperature settings for each level of our home etc. We agreed to pay about $29,000 for the top notch system.

On 4/1922, All Good came to our home to start the work to complete what we were promised would be a 2 day job. The staff was friendly but didn't have on shoe covers, masks nor gloves as the company advertises on their website (my home cameras can prove it). Less than a few hours of them being in our home the broke the stairs & framing to our attic that is in our son's bedroom. We were told a contractor would come within 24 hrs to  repair the damages.

On 4/20/22 a manager came to inspect the progress and/or lack thereof. He told my hubby a contractor would come later that day to repair the damages. He reported NO concerns with the installation process.

48 hours later, they were no where near complete as promised. Therefore, I had to cancel my plans to allow them access to our home. Not to mention i had to cancel my book club meeting because they basement install wasn't done & it was still in disarray. And still no contractor for the attic repair.

On Friday, 4/22/22 we were told they COULD NOT install the system we payed for & was expecting to get. This was a blow because the manager came out & reported NO concerns a couple of days prior. Had we known we couldnt get the Zoning system we financed to have done we would have went another route. I feel on day 1 they knew this but wanted the business/money. We were lied to and basically SCAMMED. The staff said a manager would call & give us a refund for the zoning system we payed for. NO ONE HAS CONTACTED US & WE HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED.

On 4/25/22, my husband & I called to report or concerns. A quality assurance manager promised he'd contact a contractor & a manager. He told us someone would definitely call us on this day. I sent him an email also if my attic & my son not being able to sleep in his bedroom due to safety issues as a result of the damage they caused & failed to repair.

It's 4/26...no call or word from ANYONE about the damages to our home Or refund.

I used this company for a simple winter heating check up. When the technician arrived I told him I could not climb the stairs with him due to a surgery two days prior. He came down and told me I needed several things replaced before they burned out. I asked him how old my system was and he said 7 years old. Bardo had told me the same thing when the system was only 4 yrs old. I thanked and escorted him out. The temperature went up the next day and I tried to turn the air on but it wouldn't come on. I had to call my cousin to come climb the stairs and climb up into the attic to turn my sys back on bc the technician had switched it off. Was it left off by accident (I don't know). I have asked both these companies to stop calling me. Cool Air was the only company to give me a fair assessment and said nothing was wrong with my system don't fall for the scams!!

Very nice people, but get ready to be charged an arm and a leg, and the other foot,  4 additional fingers, and an eyeball. Too expensive for the little I needed done.  They wanted to charge me an amount that cost 3x the cost of redoing my ENTIRE bathroom! Im on a budget here people. I had them do part of the work, which still was too much in my opinion. Im regretting it today but what is done is done.  So, now Ive paid for a plumber to come and I still need work done to finish my bathroom. On the search for another plumber, hopefully an affordable one this time.

I just had a full home inspection in order to purchase a property and just needed a written estimate and I was told there was a $39 charge to come out and provide a quote, which I agreed to.  After the technician came out, my card was charge for $129.  When I called to explain the charge was incorrect, I was told the $39 only covered the truck fee/gas to come out and did not include inspecting the pipes or providing a quote.  I felt this was very misleading to not disclose the charges a customer is responsible for upfront.  I talked to several different people before a manager finally agreed to refund a portion of the charges (although not the full amount I asked for).

I cannot recommend this company because of the undisclosed fees they charge and also because they had the highest quote (about 30% higher).

This is my review for ALLGOOD and I would not recommend anyone to use them.

They lack communication with customer and don't provide the proper services that is stated in their tag line. I don't understand how they are able to run a business if the customer is not happy.  Its Winter and we are freezing in our home from a unit that was installed in June of this year. It appears that they hire professional liars, and they pass you from one to another who is more liar than the others. I don't have proof that they even replace our old unit. Their all-in-one unit of AC and Heat never work from day one, the cost of the installation is over $7000.00 and $16000.00 for it to be financed.

I rate them NEGATIVE ONE!!!!

I have reviewed this company in the past and continue to be impressed with their service.

Excellent company and professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable employees. Our most recent project was a large job that included installing several new toilets and faucets along with running new lines for increased pressure. Our main plumber with Daniel P. was exceptional and calm at handling this hectic project. Additionally, he and his team stayed until 8PM almost every evening during the week of the installation to ensure we got all the plumbing completed for an important event.

I would highly recommend All Good Plumbing to anyone who has plumbing needs.

Whatever you guys do do not use AllGood heating and Air. They incorrectly installed a brand new unit last year and it's already broke. They agreed to come fix it and make it right. Now, after the works been done they're trying to charge us $1000 and threatening to put it on our credit or sue if we don't pay them. Absolute trash.

James B. was knowledgeable, friendly, and got right to work. He diagnosed a problem I didn't know I had with my water pressure regulator. While I wasn't expecting extra issues, he got right to work, and fixed this problem and then corrected the problem that I had initially called about. I was very pleased with the work.

Please if you have money do not purchase member ship from allgood plumbing, air conditioning, electric co.  I purchased the $18/month for maintenance plan for them to check and maintained my unit in working condition.  What a big hassle.  Once they get you to join you are put in the back burner.Every single time I made the appt for inspection. They gave me a 4 hours window of when they can come but when it's close to the 4hours they called to cancel and to reschedule.  I get so frustrated   This is happening every time I have an appt.  I finally decided to cancel membership to end this aggravation.   It's not so easy to cancel membership neither. They want me to write a letter and email to them. I cannot verbally cancel it.  Lesson learned do waste your hard earned money to be aggravated.   LeeLee

Terrible. Used for electrical service. Tech installed two outdoor flood lights with motion sensors. One works great, second is on all the time. No attempt to solve problem.  Tried to sell me new flood because new one installed must be faulty.  Never use this company again. Pricing based on what they think you can pay, not job at hand.

I have to say that Gareth and Allgood did a great job.  I wasn't thrilled about having to call a plumber and facing the expense of some banging I was having in the walls.  I had one of two thoughts of what may be causing the sound but Gareth was able to diagnose the problem (which wasn't one of my two thoughts...surprise) and repair the issue in under an hour.  The voucher on Yelp made the expense even better.

I would recommend Gareth and Allgood to those having a plumbing need.  I called on a Monday and he was here Tuesday morning and did a great job!

Thanks Gareth!

I called upon Allgood after finding them here on Yelp. From the reviews I read they sounded like a pretty promising company.  I'm in the process of buying a new home and would love to find a respectable plumber to grow an ongoing relationship with.  Called them to schedule an appointment because we are on a tight schedule since we ate dealing with someone else's schedule.  I had an initial time set. Didn't know pricing at the time, but figured they would be fair after reading the reviews. Received a call on the day of the appointment.  Appointment time was not correct, they pushed it back.  I immediately said that was not correct.  They stated they made the adjustment.  I asked about pricing. The pricing structure sounded off,but I needed the project completed. I said just be there during the time frame we have agreed upon.  Time for appointment comes, no technician call, etc etc. I can them and they have pushed the appointment back 3 more hours.  Enough is enough! I gave you an opportunity to earn a loyal customer and you can't even get your appointment times straight. I was willing to pay just to get it done on time!

I will find a plumber who wants the business and is hungry. Apologize upfront for misspellings. Allgood had used up my extra time.

Allgood first came out 2 weeks ago to fix a toilet that wasn't filling. Then just this past week the toilet has started spontaneously and intermittently running.
Then on Friday evening my kitchen sink started to back up, which was a new problem for me. Being as I'd used Allgood in the past I called them again, to fix both. I was told they couldn't come out until Monday morning. At that point, I thought that was fine because on their website it says they service 24/7 and emergencies. So I thought if it turned into an emergency I could just call them again. Well. Suddenly last night at 10pm it DID turn into an emergency- the sink (which I haven't used since it started acting up on Friday) backed up ALL the way, and the water had run ALL OVER the counter top, into the dishwasher and All Over the floor. In a panic I called Allgood again and told them this was now an emergent situation and I needed someone to come out That Night instead of Monday. I was told I would get a call from a technician when they were close to my home. Never got a call. So I called them back at 11:30pm and spoke to someone else. She said she couldn't see any order or message and she would send a message to dispatch but there was no one there, so there was no one for her to talk to. I guess you electronically send a message and hope someone might be checking them?? The website SAYS they are available 24/7 and that they Respond to EMERGENCIES but I guess that's Only if they're not asleep?????? So. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME. Nor did anyone show up. I called them back at 7 this morning and spoke to someone that sounded like I just woke them up. Told her the same story. She said she'd put in a ticket to dispatch and I'd get a call. Ha. Mind you, I have been telling them since my call at 10pm that it IS emergent. DON'T ADVERTISE THAT YOU ARE AVAILABLE 24/7 AND THAT YOU RESPOND TO EMERGENCIES WHEN YOU CLEARLY DON'T!!
I called another plumber at another company who is coming out.
Allgood is a WASTE OF TIME. I thought that I had found a reliable service but I was met with incompetence in an emergency. If I could give no stars I would.
They are FALSE ADVERTISING AND UNRELIABLE.

I hesitate giving my service this week a 1 star as that is 1 star too much.  We have used 2 previous times and were very happy with the service so when we needed a Plummer on 5/14 we called Allgood again expecting the same service.  We were informed someone would come out 5/16.  David came out 5/16 late afternoon and gave us an estimate of $630+ to replace a flange on the powder room toilet which leaked into the basement below and that he would have to come back on 5/17.  He came back on 5/17 and said the work was complete.  On 5/18/16 the toilet flooded the powder room floor from underneath the toilet and flooding the basement.  We called Allgood right away.  We were told that the same tech would come on 5/19.  We would have preferred a different tech to see with fresh eyes. He came and looked at the toilet and the pipes in the basement and told me he flushed the toilet maybe 40 times and everything looked good.  I asked if he took the toilet up to check the new flange and new work.  He said he didn't need to and that maybe the toilet stopped up and the toilet was cheap and we would have problems with it.  I have questions. Why didn't he tell me this prior to charging me $630+ for work and why doesn't he need to examine the work he did since the water came from underneath the toilet not a result of overflow from the bowl.  I am very unhappy.

I had the same experience as others on here. A total rip-off. I needed a sink faucet and disposal installed. I supplied all the materials with the exception of supply lines and about a 15 drain pipe. He was there for approx. 3 hours and charge over $900! Yes that's a $300 an hour rate. Stay away!!!!!

This review does not have so much to do with the tech as it does Allgood, the company. Allgood covered electrical, HVAC, and plumbing needs, which was great, because I needed all these services. First, I would like to say being a veteran, I appreciated that this company was founded by a veteran. Although that is not the only criteria I use in determining whether or not I would choose a company over another, it does carry significant weight. I can say without a doubt, I put too much weight in that category this time. I'll try to be brief. This was the third company I scheduled appointments with. All were around the same for estimates. Well, let me go back. Allgood (I spoke with Trevor) stated that it would be $39 for an electrician to come out after explaining the situation (which is I am selling and the buyer's inspector dinged us on some things-I had the complete report, so I knew exactly what was required, I just needed the estimate). So $39, that's cool. I also needed an HVAC tech and, again, I told Trevor exactly what was required according to the report. So the tech comes out. I again explain what I need and show him the inspector's report, complete with pictures. The tech was nice enough, but I was taken aback when he said he visit was $99! I was not told this. I would never have agreed to this, as I knew exactly what was required, all I needed was an estimate, which the other two outfits were going to provide free! I didn't put up much of an argument, only stating that I was not told there would be a charge for the estimate. He said there's always a $99 charge. I challenge anyone to find it stated on their website. It is not stated, nor was I informed. To add insult to injury the estimate was $768! This is more than double the lowest of the other estimates I got!! When I called back to inquire about the $99 charge, I miraculously got Trevor again who remembered me. He seemed to be, at first, at a lost for words when I asked for an explanation how the electrician's estimate was lower than that of the HVAC guy when the electrician actually had to use a multimeter, at least, and the HVAC guy didn't have to use one piece of test equipment. It just didn't make sense, and more so when I came across a page on their website that listed criteria for charging for an estimate, which included using test devices or cutting drywall. He maintained that he had informed me, by virtue of the fact that there is always a charge, so he must have told me, which is basically what I was told. Trevor said that he would look over some things and call me back. I had no reason to believe I would have received a return call. Perhaps I could have given the benefit of the doubt, but at that point, I had had enough of Allgood and their shiggity, so I to,d him not to worry about it as I would not be using them for anything now nor in the future. I will never call these grifters again. But based off the number of positive reviews (assuming they are real), they have enough suckers to keep them in business. Not me. Sorry, not sorry...So I had to include addendum, since I had two different techs, and the separate emails requesting reviews keep bringing me back here. Again, the estimate for the electrical work was outrageous! Consistent with the HVAC estimate, it was very near double the other estimate I got. Allgood is NOT all good. I'll never call on this outfit again.

Allgood installed our AC.  Compressor is out, part is under warranty.  It's been over a week, in July, and no word back on if the part is in or when they can repair.  Did some research, they have 1.5 rating with the BBB.  Will not do business with them again.

They came ahead of schedule and Tony was very friendly and helpful!

Part Two.

In the beginning I was very pleased with the service Tony and Josh were very helpful. Beverly was nice in the beginning  but she wasn't very helpful or knowledgeable when it came time to signing paperwork. She was going to make me drive over an hour to sign papers, really!!! It's 2017...let's use technology people!! I had to call on my own to do an esign. Smh. After getting the unit installed, it didn't work!!! I had to call multiple times until I reached Malcolm!! Excellent customer service!! He helped me beg for someone to come out to address the issue. He stayed after close to follow up with me. The issue was resolved but I didn't get an invoice or follow up call on resolution. I'm still waiting on my warranty information that was promised to be emailed but wasn't. Probably won't use AllGood again or refer.

My elderly parents had a major plumbing issue, we called Allgood and explain the situation in detail and the plumber that showed up without the equipment needed and said he would have to come back the next day.  I guess this happens but tried reaching management to complain and they were unresponsive. We called another plumbing service and they had the problem resolved the same day and my parents were able to move back in their house (from a hotel) the next day.

I was having a very bad experience, technician was not able to figure what's wrong when he was there, he could fix it at the same time and save us money and lots of effort. instead he gave us wrong diagnosis and almost replace something that was not needed. after I advised with second opinion I found out it was not the issue. I request my money back and compensation, due to the fact that the technician was not professional , since he gave me a wrong diagnosis that cause damage to my tenants and to myself but I never got any respond from the company.

Buyer beware!

I called All Good based on recommendation of a friend after a plumber I had previously scheduled was a no show.

One issue was a leak in my toilet tank.  The person they sent advised me that my entire Kohler toilet tank was one single unit, parts could not be replaced and that my two options were 1. replace the entire tank for about $392.00, and 2. replace the entire toilet, which All Good would install for a similar $392.00 price (I would be responsible for purchasing the toilet separately).

I live in a Condo.  A few days after the All Good estimate, a building engineer was in my unit for an unrelated issue.  I asked him to look at the toilet.  Turns out I needed a part.  Yes, parts are available for my toilet.  He fixed it and charged me $50 labor and parts!

All Good was deceitful.  Tried to charge me almost $400 for a $50 job.  Shameful!

I phoned All Good.  Explained the situation to the receptionist who was very kind and assured me that I would hear from customer device within a few days.  I have not heard a word.

I had an emergency so called Allgood at 6pm.  The two-hour wait (understandable) turned into 3 hours; I called and they said another hour.  This was after 10pm.  I called again around 10:30pm asking if at that point if anyone would show up, and they said they'd call the technician to have him call me.  I waited up until 12am and no one ever called.  At minimum I would have appreciated a call to say I'm sorry, no one is available tonight.  This was terrible customer service.

I got same day service, and Bronson Gray was efficient and professional. He explained what was going on with my disposal and presented me with options. The move to paperless system is a major plus! The only reason I do not award 5 stars is due to the BS fuel surcharge they slap on every visit.  For a business built around home visits, such a charge is insulting.

You can't get better service than what Allgood Plumbing provides. From first contact, to repair or install they're the best. Allgood responds quickly and communicates with their customers throughout. We're very pleased with Allgood and would refer them to anyone needing the services they provide.

My mother had someone come out yesterday to replace her AC unit in her condo. The technician arrived at 9am, and didn't leave until 11:30pm. Obviously he didn't have the skill set, knowledge, or experience . If he had, he should have stopped the job and communicated with Allgood to let them know he needed backup. He was using a BLOWTORCH at one point to do the work and hit a pipe which resulted in her condo unit and the one below FLOODING with a foot of water. Her hardwood floors and belongings are RUINED.

The technician did not attempt to try and stop the burst like, he bolted out and didn't even finish the job. I couldn't make this up if I tried.

The company sent someone over this morning to assess the damage and Allgood's insurance is paying for the damage and replacing everything. I appreciate that they are doing the right thing but this will be a unexpected headache and it was a terrible experience.

We needed a plumber to come out and cap off of the water line to our refrigerator.  We called several places and they all were to busy.  A friend referred us to all good.  I called and got an appointment between 4 and 8pm.
I get a call at 4:30 cancelling my appointment because they were to busy! Why the hell did they schedule an appointment they knew they could've accommodate?  I told the lady on the phone that it was leaking bad and our kitchen would be flooded if we waited until the next day.  Her response was well I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do.  I should have read the reviews on yelp before I even called them, many said they were undependable, late, snotty work, and crooks, and I believe them all! Stay away from this company unless you like this type of business practices!

The customer service, in particular the service from Jazmyne, was great, but the quote was way out of line. They had a fixed price quoting system which would have been $1,400-1,500 for less than a day of labor. So I paid the $39 visit fee and will try to find someone else.

My technician (Ivan) was prompt and courteous. He told me that the problem with my kitchen faucet was the cartridge, and he said the cartridge is under warranty with the manufacturer. I got a replacement cartridge from the manufacturer for free (under warranty), and I replaced it in the faucet following the technician's instruction. However, this did not fix the problem. I paid $39 for the trip charge for the initial diagnosis, and the technician was not able to fix the problem because he did not have a replacement cartridge. After calling Allgood to come back and re-diagnose the problem, I was told that I would have to pay the $39 service charge again! On top of that, I was told that I should have been charged $129 the first time for professional advice from a licensed plumber but instead was ONLY charged $39. Are you kidding me??? If I am going to pay another trip charge, then I am taking my business elsewhere - and making sure that all my contacts know not to call Allgood.

My AC, which is located in the attic, started leaking.  I realized it at 4:30 on a Saturday. I called Allgood and spoke to a technician named Doug who was able to diagnosis it over the phone and determined it was a clogged line.  He was able to send a plumber since the AC guys were booked. Anthony came and fixed it very quickly. I was able to use the coupon I purchased the same day through Yelp. Anthony was very professional. I will definitely use them again.

This company is the typical bait and switch operation. They quoted me between $600-$900 to replace a broken pipe outside my property. Once they dug the hole the price went up to $2100 but they suggested to replace the entire line to the street for $3400 but could not say that the pipe actually had to be replaced. I told them to leave the property because I do not work with companies like theirs and I was charged $400 to dig a small 2 foot hole. I had someone come out a day later and repair everything for $325. I would definitely stay away from this company if you are looking for a fair and honest repair job.

Horrible service. We had them install a new system 3 months ago..3 months. The system is leaking and non functioning and when a tech comes, he assures us it's because the filter is dirty. This seems suspicious but I'm glad the issue is fixed. THE NEXT DAY, same issue. We call them to report that it has not been resolved. For 5 days, they say they are going to come, schedule us, DO NOT SHOW UP, say they'll send a manager, who is caught up and DOES NOT SHOW UP. 5 days we are told someone is on the way and we see NO ONE in a home without a properly working HVAC system with a 6 month old infant in the home in August. 5 days we have to wait the 4-hour period at home for no one to show up!! They don't apologize. They don't give us a guarantee. They don't offer any incentive. They don't give clarity even after several calls from both my husband and I. I refuse to work with this company again. This has to be the worst experience.

Just for clarity. They don't show up one day. I call them. They say someone will be there first thing in the morning. I call. They change the time to 12-4 or something. No one shows. I call. They say someone will come tomorrow at a designated time frame aka THE RUN AROUND. Tried to give the benefit of doubt but will not be working with them again.

Allgood's customer service and commitment to finding a solution are second-to-none.  They came out on three separate occasions, spending 3-4 hours each time, to ensure the problem with our HVAC was fixed. Of course, they only charged us for the first visit and then charged us for the parts when the solution was finally found. Their tireless efforts to ensure we were satisfied were greatly appreciated. Shelden was professional, determined, and friendly. I highly recommend Allgood for HVAC repairs.

I had a pipe burst at my store and was in a bad situation bc I can't function without water.  The repair estimate was higher than my expectations but I didn't have much of a choice.  The work was completed timely and professionally.  I called about the pricing after it was complete to share my concerns on the price and they asked me what would make me happy and they credited me more than even what I told them I thought was fair.  That is great customer service!!

I would not recommend Allgood to anyone. I evaluate companies across three criteria: quality of work, communication, and reliability. Allgood failed across all three measures.

Background: they quoted repairing a shower faucet. They ended up ripping through the tile and drywall. The scope of work said repair shower faucet. They denied it all and it took over 15 calls to actually get someone on the phone to try to get to the bottom of it. They never acknowledged they were in the wrong.

Quality of work: I'll give them credit--they installed the hot water heater just fine. The other 3 things they worked on were not finished or did not work. Every time they came out, they left tools and had to come back or they forget parts and had to leave the house and go buy them (or borrow them from me).

Communication: They took 3-4 days to call me back. The shower they left me with was not operable. They use their receptionist to try to intimidate you / talk you down. After 4 weeks they sent someone out to fix their work's mistakes, but they did not communicate that they were coming out and I was not home, so they said I didn't accept the work. Communication was not allgood

Reliability: Every time estimate they quoted me (e.g. 2 hours to fix) was off by 3-6 hours, which ended up taking up entireties of my day. The other work they enstalled did not work and we had to repair/replace it. The shower they installed did not have all of the requisite pieces and they refused to acknowledge that the pieces were missing. The allgood promise was not all good.

I called Allgood Plumbing (I think they may contract out) and set an appointment to look at my bathrooms faucets that were leaking. I believed they were going to need new cartridges. For the first visit they were actually early. However after about a minute they determined I needed all new faucets as well as a new kitchen sink faucet. That was ok because we were planning on replacing them eventually anyway.
They worked after install however for the kitchen faucet they had to get an extended cable. My fault for not checking before they left but they did not put the counter weight on the cable. So the faucet drops.
I called the next day and they scheduled an appointment.
On that day I waited 5 hours. Nobody came by and no call. I called and they said they were booked and couldn't make it. They scheduled another appt for a Saturday. I waited for 5 hours. Nothing.
I called and rescheduled for Monday morning. Nothing
I called and rescheduled for Wednesday morning. I was told I was their first appointment of the day. Again. Nothing
That is 4 reschedules. They never once called me. I had to reach out each time.
I'm an easy going guy. Once or twice, ok. Four is too much even in these times. Thankfully this is an issue I can take care of as putting the counter weight is not too bad.
But it is the time waiting that is ridiculous. And no follow up.
I've used Allgood for years for many things.
Never again.

We had a frustrating experience with Allgood that did not even involve any work being done. We got an estimate, and the guy who came out to give it was really great. Well, we called back to ask if we could have an itemized estimate for our bank (they were requiring it for a special type of renovation mortgage that we are getting) and we were told no. This was perplexing because literally all they had to do was break down the estimate to show X amount of parts (only 1 part) and X amount of labor (the balance of the original estimate). It was a very simple request and did not involve any price haggling on our part, even though the total amount was outrageously high. We just wanted to get the paperwork we needed to move forward with the home buying process.
Their lack of flexibility and unwillingness to go (just slightly) above and beyond makes me very concerned for what kind of work they might've done had we gotten that far. They kept saying we just don't do that. No explanation, no attempt to make it work, no compromise. Whatever happened to customer service?

I'm the kind of person who typically does small jobs around the house.  But when both the toilet on my main floor (which I had fixed myself, about a year ago) and the toilet in my basement (which I have never even looked in) both started leaking, I decided to call in a pro to fix them.  I have other things to do with my time.

Allgood was extremely responsive, and has a very modern operations side of the house (email confirmation, including photos of who's coming to your house, etc).

When the plumbers arrived they couldn't have been nicer.  Very professional, they brought cloth booties for their shoes indoors.  Small talk.  They took a look at the two toilets, checked my water pressure and my water heater (upsell opportunities?).  We then sat down to look at the quote.  Here's where the shocker came: $620.  Over 600 dollars to fix two leaky toilets?!

It literally took me about 30 seconds for the amount to register.  I kept trying to shift the decimal point in my head.

I gave them the news: that unfortunately I wasn't going to be able to pay that.  They were nice and professional and understanding.  Briefly tried to convince me that the repair would require two total toilet rebuilds.  They might need to remove the tank and replace the gaskets.  Right.  They took my $39 minimum for the visit and were off.

Tonight I found an unused flapper in my basement, which I used to replace the flapper in the recently repaired, but somewhat troublesome toilet on my main floor.  Probably cost me $6 at Home Depot back when I bought it.  I took the flapper from that toilet (which was still in great shape) and replaced the flapper in the basement with it.  Turns out that one was so old it had turned gelatinous.  Neither toilet is leaking anymore.  Overall took about 20 minutes and saved me $600.

So why only one star given all the positive things I said about them?  Well, I don't trust them, and I don't think you should either.  An honest plumber would have taken one look at the flapper in the basement and said it could just be replaced.  An honest plumber would have at least tried to replace the flapper on the main before claiming that a total toilet rebuild was needed.  I don't even blame the specific plumbers who came out... I think the company requires them to do this.  But that this just my theory.

Horrible service please avoid at all cost. Plumber came out to inspect leaking hot water heater and said i needed a new pressure valve. Once installed ($268 bucks later) the unit still leaked and was told i needed a new hot water heater and will cost $1800. I asked for a break down and was advised they do not give break downs. After researching the first fix was only a $15 part so $253 labor cost to change a valve??? Then I found Home Depot and total cost for new hot water heater and install was $1000. Total ripoff!

This is purely for customer service.

I called today asking for an hvac technician and they were booked all the way until May 11th. The woman I booked with put me on an urgent list just in case someone canceled.

10 minutes later, another company told me that they had an opening for tonight, so I obviously took that one, and called back to cancel with Allgood.

The man I spoke to on the phone was SO courteous and understanding.

This kind of 1st level customer service is rarer than diamonds.

Unreal customer service. Garett was my plumber. He knew everything, but couldn't fix the problem. He suggested a new toilet and within 30 minutes it was complete. I agreed so quick bc he was so honest with everything else. Good company with great customer service. I won't use anyone but Allgood. And if I can, I'll ask for Gareth for all plumbing services if he's still there.

I really wish I wouldn't have used Allgood for my plumbing needs. They sent over a man named Mark. He saw my fireproof safe sitting on my bathroom counter and asked if I had a gun in it. I told him no and that I don't have guns in my house. I let him know it is where I keep my medicine. He then exclaimed OH! a methadone box!!  I was shocked that he said it but I kept my composure because I needed my problem fixed. I told him it was my spouses heart medication. It was none of his business that it was my son and myself's depression medication. That I have to keep it locked up because he tried to commit suicide.  He later asked if my boyfriend and I were married or live in lovers.  I feel like he was very unprofessional and not sure how anything he said had to do with plumbing service. I cried for two days after the service. I don't like being accused of being a drug addict or a recovering one.  I called and spoke to a general manager and was told someone higher up would be calling me about the situation. I never got that phone call.  I also just found out that the cap they replaced and charged me $189 for is only $3.  They don't even deserve this one star but I had no choice.

In the last three days, I have contacted Allgood several times. Thus far, it has been impossible to speak with someone with authority. I had to call three different times to request that a manager call me back to discuss things before one did. Jack, the manager for the HVAC division called me and left me a voicemail with a number that I could call him back at. The number rings through to voicemail...his voicemail box is full-seriously? I called the main number for Allgood and inform them that Jack's mailbox is full and get the runaround about it and how I can actually speak with him and was told to keep calling him. I tried several more times and his mailbox was always full. Any competent employee, and most especially a manager who deals directly with customers, would make sure that their mailbox was not full...unless that person does not want people to leave them a message.

The only people whom I was able to speak with about my concerns were Amanda, an accountant (who is not a manager and does not even work in customer service or with the technicians) and Tiffany, the customer service rep. Both Amanda and Tiffany said all the standard customer service things that are said to an unhappy customer. I asked both of them if they had read their company's Yelp reviews, both stated that they had not. I suggested they take the time to read them. When I mentioned several concerning incidents mentioned in other Yelp reviews to Amanda, she brushed each one off, saying that the employees were no longer with Allgood. She then stated that they do background checks and drug tests for new hires and that there was no more that they could do. From our conversation I was able to figure out that she speaks with plenty of unhappy customers.

Amanda mentioned that they would not charge me an early termination fee, which shocked me. The contract for the Service Partner Plan that I signed and returned to them made no mention of an early termination fee, so how could they expect me to pay one? Amanda said that there was an asterisk on the form that gave them the ability to charge an early termination fee, even though one was not ever mentioned to me or given to me in writing.

When I spoke with Tiffany, she asked if Amanda had offered me a free year of the Service Partner Plan ($18 per month for 12 months = $216). I would rather they have refunded the money I had paid already for their worthless plan that they use to trick customers into buying things that they don't need.

I sent a letter by certified mail requesting my Service Partner Plan be cancelled. I'm still waiting for confirmation from Allgood that they received it.

It seems like I am not the only customer who has complained to Allgood. Hopefully sharing my disappointing experiences with Allgood will save others the headache of working with them.

I hope that the owner of Allgood, or at least one of the managers reads my review and takes action. This company seems to be about passing the buck and not actually doing what's right.

I had a new toilet, tub faucet, and sink faucet replaced. The sink faucet is awesome.

The tub faucet needed to be replaced because the diverter wasn't sending the pressure to my shower head. The new bathtub faucet now sprays out weird -- sprays out to the side, and isn't a stream like it use to be.
Toilet is high for me; my feet don't touch the floor when sitting on it; I'm 5'1. But it flushes nicely.

Scheduled this company to come out multiple different times over the course of a year and a half for various reasons like servicing AC and replacing water heater...because I like to give companies the benefit of doubt when it comes to one time bad service --

Each time I requested to be first appointment of the day, flexible to be any day as long as I could be the first appointment time. I would be assured I'd be the first to be seen at 8am.

I would call first thing at 8am to confirm someone was on their way. Atlanta traffic.
Call at 10, oh there was a morning staffing meeting / they had to stop at the warehouse, now they are on the way.
Had to wait all morning most times till late in the day 3pm+ the worst was oh that's weird I'm seeing they already made a stop at your house ...to find I'm auto rescheduled to another day because it's too late in day to make it out to my place. (I live in Buckhead.)

This has happened to me at least three different times. I was dumb and thought this is normal business habits, but it's not. Note I have never actually received real service from this company because I canceled the servicing appointments after waiting a day or two. I ended up waiting way too long on Allgood to replace my water heater while showering with cold water. Called another company and they showed up 8am on the dot the next morning.

In short, Allgood is a RIPOFF!  An Allgood technician/plumber came out to give an estimate on a dripping bathtub faucet.  $345! I was quoted.  Just by looking at it he told me the cartridge would have to be replaced in the handle portion, basically rebuilding the inside.  I asked that it's not just a washer that needs replacing and he told me that this particular faucet doesn't use washers anymore. I asked if it would be cheaper to replace the entire faucet and he told me that job would be approx. $750 because he'd have to knock out some of the wall!  Really!?  So, for this I paid $39 for the visit which would be applied to the total.  Instead, I called a handyman that I'd hired for a couple of different types of jobs.  He actually installed two tiny replacement cups with springs (the new-fangled washers, I suppose), NOT A CARTRIDGE in less than 30 minutes for $75 ONLY!  Now that's honest work and someone we can trust to do a good job for a FAIR PRICE.  I'll never call Allgood again.

Buyer Beware!!! I would give them a 5 star on customer service and technician was great.  However, I feel 100% RIPPED OFF by the cost for repairs. This company does flat fee job quote.  It was a Friday and I didn't want my plumbing leaking in my crawl space all weekend.  The price quoted seemed a little high but tech said it would probably take him 5-6 hours or LONGER.  Came back 2 hours later with parts and another plumber came to help - 2 1/2 hours later they were done.  Suddenly the price I paid seemed MORE than little high - worked out to about $250/hour PER each plumber.  I'd love to get that kind of pay.  Yes, I signed the contract so I sucked it up and paid it. NO, despite the fact they did a great job on the actual repair would I ever call them again.  I did call to discuss with office and they basically said I agreed to the price and that was the price.  They wouldn't have charged more if it had taken longer than they thought.  OK.  So, I guess they made a really good profit on my job but lost a potential long term client.  If you're going to use these guys for anything significant I'd get more than one bid.  This was NOT a job with a lot of unknowns or digging around, this was replacement of 40' of exposed cast iron in a crawl space.  FYI - when I checked them out on Kudzu they showed as being located within about 4 miles of my house, another reason I selected them.  They were actually located 30+ miles away so there was a 2 hour lag time while the tech went to get materials and the proper equipment to cut out the cast iron pipe.  I've done 4 renovations on my 40+ year old ranch home and consider myself pretty savvy and pretty fair.  I don't expect anyone not to make a profit but this transaction felt like more of a rip-off than any prior interaction with any vendor.  The Moral:  Get more than one bid if you're spending over $500.  If you want to patronize local go past the review sites and see where their actual business office is.  Just consider me wiser but poorer.

Ummm.  OK.  Read company response which solidified by opinion.  I choose to support local businesses.  The issue was that I was billed out at $250/hour for a plumber and I was advised it would be a big, hairy job that would take 5-6 hours or MORE when it took 2 1/2 hours and I deeply regret not getting a 2nd bid.

Way overpriced. They charged $360 for 45 minutes worth of work. They fixed a leaky toilet and replaced my kitchen faucet(I supplied the new faucet and parts). Next time I would definitely find a local plumber and not use a big company that charges an outrageous amount of money.

They admit to charging more because their employees are trained and certified, however there are plenty of trained, certified, and professional plumbers that do not practice price gouging.

Artificially inflated price.  Took advantage of a disabled Veteran with severe breathing problems.  100% disabled and 100% service connected.  On Oxygen.
AllGood used a form of the bait and switch routine.  Try to sell a ridiculously high priced unnecessary procedure ($2800):  So the customer will be relieved to pay the smaller amount, even though it was double the expected price ($760).  My roommate had set this up with AllGood, but he was out of town on business and could not be reached.

Josh, from AllGood, did a simple repair on the shut off valve and short pipe (less than 2 feet) located just on my side of the front yard water meter.  We had already diagnosed it long before his arrival.  We were expecting between a $300 to $400 bill. Josh worked about 2 hours and used about $150 to $175 in parts. Josh (from AllGood) arrived and tried to sell me an un-necessary replacement of the line going from the water meter to my house (He wanted $2800).  I was outside severely short of breath (COPD).  I could barely stand up.  He had me sign a paper for $760.  No listing of labor cost.  No listing of parts cost.  In addition, He left leaving the yard torn up and created pot holes in the lawn that the lawn mower will fall into.  Permanently damaging the mower. I wish there was a law:  Stopping people from taking advantage of a disability.
Strongly recommend that no-one ever use AlllGood services.

Gareth showed up on time and was warm and friendly. He assessed the two plumbing problems we had and quickly and accurately fixed them. While he was finishing up and we were chit-chatting, I mentioned my gas fireplace wasn't working. Two other repair people had been unable to fix it and I couldn't find anyone else to try. Turns out Gareth has experience with gas fireplaces - he took a look and fixed it within minutes at no extra charge. He's my hero!

Super Unimpressed - we did a maintenance contract with AllGood for HVAC, Plumbing, & Electrical ... with the sold idea that faster/priority service would occur when a need arose. Not true. On 2, if not 3 occasions, we tried to call for a service appointment only to have service tech(s) sick, trucks broke down, and they were too busy and needed to reschedule. Then, when we wanted to cancel the contract because of poor service ... they expect us to pay $75 to cancel early. What a joke. How about all the hours I waited at home while NO ONE showed up with this priority service. THINK TWICE before you consider an annual plan with this company.

Similar to what others experienced, my AC unit was not working and I was told by Allgood that the unit had to be replaced at a cost of $6,000 and that they could have a sales rep contact me the next day to arrange purchasing the new unit. Also they came much later than the appointment time. Contacted another company and they came out the very next morning, identified the problem and fixed it for $350. The unit has been working well ever since. Allgood charged $100 to come out only to try to sell a new unit I did not need. Will leave judgement to others as to whether this was a scam. I do not appreciate paying $100 for something that was not true. Will not do any business with this company in the future.

I called for an estimate to install a garbage disposal.  At the end of the call, I asked if there was a charge, was told $40. I declined and within mins, I got a call back saying they would wave it.  I scheduled the appointment and the guy that showed up, professional and friendly.  He checked out my situation, saw that there was electrical wiring, but advised I needed to install an outlet, and then plug the new disposal in there.  He went to the truck and came back with a $395 estimate.  Well, all the you-tube videos have me encouraged i can do this myself.

I want to start off by saying I've used Allgood in the past without any issues, but recently I called and let them know I had a water leak either from my ac unit or water heater since they were side by side.

The tech informed me it was the water heater, I agreed to replace it even though the price was steep at $1500. Turns out the leak continued and it was from the ac unit which turned out to be less than $5 to repair myself.
I'll also add that the tech mentioned the bottom of the water heater was rusted so I don't believe he was trying to deceive me, however he didn't even check the ac.

After two failed attempts to FULLY restore water to my home, I have to say a huge thank you to Allgood Plumbing, more specifically, thank you Mr. Jeff Cocchi for a job well done. After calling/emailing another company from this site that was a no show-no call, Allgood Plumbing was able to make my appointment, called to confirm my appointment the day before, and they even called to tell me the service technician was on his way. They gave me a window appointment of 9:00-12:00, the young lady called me at 8:57 and he arrived at 9:25 am. After explaining what a previous Certified Plumbing company (located in Stockbridge, Ga) did and I only had cold water, no hot water; he was able to FULLY diagnose the problem. He confirmed that additional work had to be done because of an over sight by this previous Plumbing company (they didn't check the heating element in the hot water heater which popped, or burned out. This could have been avoided and would have saved me some money) and he took the time out to show me the parts and areas that were affected. Now a days every penny counts, and when you work hard for your money, you want to know that you're getting quality work, honest people and fair prices. Well, I lost a whole lot of pennies dealing with the other company(located Stockbridge, Ga with a major airline name), but smarter and wiser now. If you've made it this far in my review...I, again, say thank you Allgood Plumbing, thank you Jeff for being as thorough and not only explaining everything but showing me what was done. I highly recommend this company. Totally awesome! I am totally Satisfied, #it'sallgoodwithallgood. Did I mention it is cold this morning, even though Mr. Jeff Cocchi was working in the garage, it as still cold in there and he took his time and did it right.

We will definitely stick with Allgood Plumbing, specifically Gareth E.  We called Allgood to originally fix one of our shower diverters, but then called Gareth from Allgood for additional work as he was very honest, professional, knowledgeable, and had excellent follow-up.

We called him back for a second job to fix initially a leak in our upstairs bathroom.  While he was there, we also inquired about our downstairs bathroom.  He quickly diagnose the issues with both and fixed both issues (leaks) quickly and with very high quality.  We plan to use Gareth from now on from Allgood for any of our plumbing needs and highly recommend him to anyone.

I was in need of a plumber to replace a bathroom sink and Algood had a coupon for $50 off of $100 service.  I figured it would probably pay for most of the service but the plumber said it would cost $350 (labor only! And I already had the new sink) I couldn't believe it...but, unfortunately I already had purchased the coupon and was also going to be charged for a service call...so I felt there wasn't anything else I could have done.  Also, they expected full payment upfront even though their scheduler never informed me of that policy.  I've learned the hard way to hold payment until after the job was done.  The plumber did the job in less than 1 1/2 hrs and allowed me to pay after. It felt like I was taken advantage of.  Other reviews certainly found the same ---getting 3 estimates wins again!

I would be wary of the work done by Allgood Plumbing.  Last year, during the very cold weather, I had a pipe in my basement burst; flooding, the whole thing.  Allgood came out and fixed it in about 8 minutes for $314, which was fine, considering the situation.  Last Friday, less than one year later, after a one night cold snap, the exact same pipe burst again, in the exact same place that had been replaced by Allgood!  This time, the flooding was horrible, and ServPro is trying to save my carpet and drywall.  When I called Allgood, they did come out and repair the pipe at no charge, but I am questioning the quality of the work done last year.  It is obvious that it was not fully repaired last year.  I have lived in this  house for 20 years, have had one problem, and then the EXACT same issue the next year and they try to tell me it's because I didn't turn off the water to the outside hose.  I am convinced the problem was not fixed correctly or completely last year.  And, now I am out thousands of dollars in repairs and ruined items.

The only reason there isn't five stars is that Allgood is expensive compared to the competition (quite a bit more). HOWEVER, I cannot think of enough good things to say about one of their professional plumbers -- Gareth. I completely trust his expertise and personally request him to come if I have an issue. He is courteous, personable (he's even nice to my kids), respects your home and KNOWS his plumbing. Gareth came in after another plumber and fixed all of the previous plumbers mistakes. I cannot recommend any plumber more than I would Gareth, period. He is even worth Allgood's premium price structure. Gareth has fixed my washer hose facet leak and my garden/spa tub leaks that -- as I mentioned -- another plumber tried to fix and couldn't. Gareth (on a later visit) went over my plumbing system after an unknown leak soaked my basement. After carefully inspecting every component, Gareth verified my theory that I didn't have a plumbing issue (which was wonderful peace of mind). Lastly, Gareth arrives on time and has great communication. The Allgood office was good as well, and quick to get Gareth to my home when I personally requested him. Call Allgood and request Gareth, he is worth the high price Allgood charges. He won't disappoint, he's one of the good guys.

Wow wow wow!!! Obed and Dan were my two techs that came out today! I called all good at 3:30pm and said my heater was not working and it was 50 degrees in my home! They sent two guys within an hour!!! Talk about incredible service! From the moment these guys showed up they were so honest and knowledgable! I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. They waited around for 30 minutes just to make sure it didn't kick off again as it had done in the past! My heater is now working again and the prices are really fair! I will for sure use them again for any future plumbing or hvac needs! They only negative thing I can say is that I wish they also offered duct cleaning! Extra big shout out to Obed and Dan for saving the day and to Allgood for sending someone out to help with such short notice!! Thanks again for everything!

Called the company, they were suppose to come out and give a estimate, they didn't.  Needed a hookup to main for irrigation system. The hole was already dug, so no digging for them.  The guy shows up, doesn't have what he needs, so goes to home depot.  Comes back, does the work, which took less than a hour.  Would have taken even less time except he cut the pipe too short so had to fix that.  Doesn't leave a receipt, doesn't tell us how much.  To our surprise we get a bill for $450.00.  WOW. We do this all the time and normal plumbing cost for it is at the most $200.00.  Don't use them!

I found Allgood on Kudzu and was impressed with their rating and claims of no service charge for a visit. I am a new home owner and had a garbage disposal that suddenly died. Allgood was friendly and able to schedule someone to come Saturday morning, determined the disposal was dead and replaced it - for $450. Yes, I should have investigated further, but after the fact, we found the same model for $75 online, and it took less than 30 minutes to install. Definitely not worth $450. When we called on Monday asking for some sort of reconsideration, we were told that wasn't an option and we were just out of luck. I'm fine with the service given, but their pricing and customer service are WAY out of line. I will never use them again and will make sure to let my friends know to stay away as well.

I am a dedicated user of Yelp and when I was told I had a leaky pipe in the crawl space under my home I went right to Yelp to find a reliable plumber. Allgood had numerous good reviews so they were my choice. The technician showed up on time went into the crawl space and came out five minutes later and told me not only did I have a leaky pipe but I had a broken sump pump totaling to a repair cost of $750. I thought that was incredibly expensive but I have a leaky pipe and a broken sump pump so I can't procrastinate I told him to do the work. Within 30 minutes he was done but guess what...the sump pump was fine. Boy was I happy $322.50 to fix a leaky pipe in less then 30 minutes. That equates to around $650 an hour. I am I in the wrong business. Bottom line I thought about this all day. It's 11 pm and I am sitting in bed writing my very first Yelp review. Sorry but I cannot help but feel that I have been played. There was nothing wrong with the sump pump and I am supposed to be relieved to only pay $322.50 to fix a leaky pipe. #feeling ripped off

As a veteran I went with this company because they advertised as being owned by a vet. I doubt it! They misdiagnosed our plumbing issue over and over again. Good luck trying to talk to a manager or the owner. Refused to call back and discuss. turns out we had a septic issue. This was a new home we just bought we didn't even know we had a septic tank- guess what neither did Allgood. My house flooded AFTER they said they had fixed the problem. When they came back out they said that plumber was no longer with them and he had an issue identifying problems. They then said it was tree roots-when they started digging they found the septic tank-how do plumber not know when there is a septic tank. No roots just needed a pumping. Mean time we are out thousands of dollars for fixing a problem that didn't exist.  We're still considering our next options with Allgood!

Absolutely horrible service.  When the service operator got to my house, he waited in his truck.  He never bothered to knock on my door. When I called to ask what happened, I was given the rules about how the company operated.  Then was told that I was incorrect in what I claimed happened, and that they had a tape recording of what I said.

We used Allgood because we got a Valpak coupon. The work was acceptable but their prices are outrageous even with the coupon.   $600 bucks for a leaky toilet and to replace a pvc pipe. I made several call and left messages with several other companies to schedule for scheduled a service call. The call taker was very polite. Several days later and the day of the service, I receive a call from the same call taker saying he was sorry but they do not service my area.  I had already canceled the other companies and taken the day off so that I could be there for the service. Now I am out time and money because the call takers for this company do not know the service area's they cover.  Way to go Allgood. would not recommend them.

What a wonderful job the electrician, Lex (with Allgood Plumbing & Electrical) did for us at our home today! We had several small things needing to be repaired as well as the large task of  reconfiguring the light switch for our front door exterior porch light, installing a new sconce in the foyer & an outlet receptacle there as well. We also asked him to place an additional outlet/receptacle in our living/dining room area.  I could not be more pleased with it all( it's truly fantastic!! Second update: My 18k HVAC unit failed two city inspections! Below is a summary of how the most recent repairs went and a part of the email I sent complaining. They still haven't responded to my BBB complaint which you can view in the BBB website.

It seems to me I am not taken seriously because I am a woman. The sexism is blatantly obvious in my opinion. I know for a fact there are emails showing where I've called and complained that the repairs made wouldn't pass the second inspection. When the second repair team came to my home, Danny was incredibly dismissive of my concerns regarding refrigerant. Low and behold, the inspector documented (with pictures!) that the Freon refrigerant did not have the appropriate locking caps that are required and one was missing a cap. Danny should spend less time talking about how he escalated my case to senior management and more time inspecting his work since HIS work didn't pass inspection. It shouldn't take a second inspection failed to prove me right. I literally told Danny to his face I wouldn't trust anything he said until I see a passed inspection.

1st update: What a joke response! I've tried calling the quality manager 3 times and she still hasn't responded!! I'm to the point of reporting All Good for failure to comply with city code and respond to a failed inspection. Good luck keeping your business license after that!

Original review: Warning! They failed city inspection for HVAC installation. I have had so many issues with poor quality. I am now having to stay on top of them to get the repairs done due to failing inspection because of the poor quality of work. The inspector told me that their poor work actually puts us at risk of carbon monoxide in the air. As a pregnant customer, I AM FURIOUS.

Plus 5 stars for responsiveness (they had someone at my house about 30 minutes after my early morning call), ease of dealing with them, and timing of work (they had all of the work done in around 2 hours).  Minus 3 stars for price.  I was charged ~$1,400 for a 50 gallon hot water heater replacement, which included a line item for a $240 extra charge for the heater being located in the attic/basement/crawl-space.  Really?  Where do you put a hot water heater if it is not in the attic, basement, or crawl-space?

Hired Allgood to install a garbage disposal for me. The plumber install it with removing the plug to drain the dishwasher...the assemble also leaked after he was finish. After uncovering this after my dishwasher stopped working. They sent another plumber out to fix the issue. They removed the plug however, they made the leak worst because the duct taped two pipes together. Not sure who's running this business but I will never use them again. Not a happy customer!

Overpriced for the work that was completed.  If not for the extremely high price to change out a faucet (which I actually believe could have been repaired) I would potentially used them again.  I spoke to the manager and appreciated his time - he was extremely nice and professional.  He explained to me the pricing, however, I will go elsewhere next time with a company more competitive - $415 was excessive for a 10 minute faucet change.

My 25-year-old water heater was leaking (thankfully it did not burst), and it needed to be replaced. David with Allgood Plumbing gave the best quote on the installation. David also efficient as he installed the new water heater, staying focused on the job at hand.

These people are con artists.  I spent $6k to get everything working and 6 months later the sockets and switches stopped working.  They said it wasnt covered under their guarantee.  Never do business wit these people.  They will temporarily fix and not tell what the full problem is.

Overpriced!! Do not use. I wish I had read the previous reviews about how much they overcharge before using Allgood. This company is horribly overpriced and will take advantage of you any chance they get. They replaced a hot water heater for me and overcharged me knowing  that I was desperate for hot water. Every company that I spoke with after quoted me $300-$500 less. Do NOT use this company unless you like wasting money. Their labor was $850 for 2 1/2 hours of work. Who knew plumbing was so profitable? OVERPRICED!!

Horrible rude people - I had to replace my main water line to our house - they charged 4500 to do this - I showed the technician that my sprinkler line branched off and they told me they would reconnect it- i was unfortunately out of town when they did the work - when I came home it looked like someone rode a dirt bike through my lawn - NO care was taken to protect my grass like my irrigation system people do - where they use a spade and pull the grass out then put it back when they finish trenching - I cannot find the sprinkler valve box anywhere - I have talked to the technician repeatedly and called the office and even talked to the quality manager who was completely rude and unless I give my credit card to them to pay for. Service fee they will not come back out - so their website says 100% satisfaction which is complete bullshit - they are about getting money and that's all.... Find a small plumber in your area and save yourself the headache

Allgood came out to bid a job for me.  I called the morning of the appointment and they said they forgot.  However, they were able to send out a tech and still made it on time.  Good thing I called or they never would have been there.  The tech was professional enough, but I never heard from them again.  I called the tech, emailed the owner, and spoke to the receptionist.  More than once.  It's now been a week since my last contact and two weeks since the site visit.  Need I say more.  If you don't want the business, at least call.

First time customer/experience with AllGood Plumbing and everything went great.  I received a call once they had service en route.  David was the service technician & did a terrific job of explaining the repairs needed and what the charges would be upfront.  Very professional and knowledgeable.  I would def recommend their service

I had come across Allgood Plumbing while searching for plumbers to fix a leak in my ceiling.  I visited their website and saw there was an option to fill out the form with the name and email address as required.  I wrote my request on the form and sent it in but never received a response.  I then called Allgood Plumbing to schedule someone to come check out the leak.  They mentioned there was a service charge of $39 for them to send someone out and would be reimbursed if I chose to proceed with a repair.  I agreed to this and scheduled an appointment.

The plumber came and I explained the floor above contains a master bathroom with a shower and toilet but that it was strange the leak and molded spot in the ceiling was nowhere underneath either.  I mentioned my shower doesn't drain as fast as it normally does and then he mentioned that the leak was probably due to the shower not draining properly.  I assumed that since he's a plumber that he would probably have more knowledge and experience than I would.  I agreed to his estimate of $210 (30 mins of using a drum auger, scoring, shop vac) to clear the shower drain, which would solve my problem of the leak into the floor below and mentioned the 30 day warranty of the service (which I assume would be to fix the leak).  He mentioned that if it continued to leak after that it would be possible it could be due to the shower drain pan not being completely sealed and would need to call someone to remove the entire tile floor of my shower to have the shower pan checked.

A few days later as I'm replacing the ceiling, I see that there is a separate copper pipe that feeds water to the floor above that is not soldered properly at the joint and is still leaking.  I call Allgood back to check on the warranty and schedule an appointment for the plumber to return.  I emphasize the point that I would not like to be charged for an entirely new claim as the only reason I called Allgood was to fix this leak.  The plumber leaves me a voicemail mentioning the shower pan as he told me last time and I call him back explaining the pipe and soldering, which he agrees is the cause but would have to charge me extra as it's a different claim.  I'm completely frustrated with the situation because I only called Allgood to fix this leak and I understand that he cleared my shower drain but that was only because he said it was the cause of the leak.  Now the plumber is telling me that because he mis-diagnosed the cause of the leak that I'm going to have to pay for another job.

I was scheduled for an installation on May 9 2023 for a whole new system. Allgood called on May 8 2023 and said we are at your residence, I informed the tech it was scheduled for May 9 2023 , so I left work so it can done.   After the tech look at the old system he noticed what he had in the truck was not going to work because it was eletric  and not gas.  All I was told was someone will be in contact,  after I called the sale person Derrick Bradley he informed me that a mistake happened and they would fix it. After anfew days pass, no calls, so i called the sale rep, he said he call me back in 5 min, it never happened. Now it's May 10 after I get pulled off my job, and was told they needed additional $2700 no one calls as they say they would.  I also left a message for the general manager Tom , no callback yet.

Updates on 2/2/16:
The servicemen finally came out to replace my furnace. They were friendly and quick and the heat seems to be working so far.

I'd rate all good 3.5 if we could do half ratings but since we can't I'm at least improving my original rating from 2 to 3.

------------------
Original review posted on 2/1/16

I'm really disappointed and frustrated by the service or lack there of I've received from All Good - namely, the horrible customer service they've provided me.

During a really cold spell in mid January my heat started malfunctioning. The downstairs wouldn't warm up but the upstairs would get into 70s. I called All good on a Monday, got an appointment for Wednesday after noon - not bad.

On Wednesday Jan 18, a serviceman came out to inspect my heat and said some heat thing was cracked and I need a new furnace. But because it was cracked he had to turn off the gas to my heat. So when average temp was mid/high 30s  during the the day and less during the evening All good turned my heat off and I was left with no house heat.   I was told someone would call me to discuss options the next day.

I assumed I'd get a call right away since it was so cold and they knew I had no heat, but I was wrong. I had to call them when by 2pm the next day (Thursday) I hadn't heard from anyone.

I finally got ahold of the person assigned to work with me who said he had a lot of clients that day and hadn't gotten around to me yet.  He passively aggressively suggested he would pull over on the side of the road to send me information.    He ended up sending me information by 10pm that Thursday night (now I'm two days without house heat with outside temps in mid to high 30s and inside house temp around low to mid 50s).

I responded to the email with a few follow up questions on Friday morning got no response so called again on Saturday afternoon. Finally got an email respond on Sunday.

I called so frequently trying to get communication the phone staff knew who I was.

I was finally able to set up an appointment for a new furnace for today (2/1/16). It was supposed to be an afternoon appointment. At no point did I get a reminder email or follow up about today's appointment (made last week). When I contacted my rep around noon to see if I was still in for today I was told the guys were behind schedule and wouldn't be able to get to me today. WTF?!?

Why did I have to contact them to find this out?  I left work early to be home for this appointment I was supposed to have and now I have to be home tomorrow and hope they show up to do the work.

I don't know why I have had to constantly chase down All Good to communicate with me and to do the work. I've never had to work this hard to spend thousands of dollars.

Maybe because they've turned my heat off they know my options are limited and aren't giving appropriate customer care. Or maybe they've grown too popular from Yelp reviews and are neglecting customers.

Either way, this has been an unpleasant experience.   I've had no house heat since Jan 18 and still don't have any. I've basically been sequestered into two small rooms with an electric heater.

I called at 8:30pm figuring it would be expensive but the visit would only be $39. A reputable competitor quoted a visit at over $120. So right off the bat I'm excited. Then the guy on the other line tells me what to do instead of coming out and charging me. This is b/c once he explains it and I do it, I realize it's so simple a caveman could do it. I was really impressed. He knew I was desperate b/c of the time of day and my situation. He could have come and charged big bucks but he was straight up with me about it.

Glad to see some people are still honest out there in business. I will definitely be contacting them with other plumbing needs now.

Terrible service! They installed a new garbage disposal which started to make a strange noise after a few days... it got worse. We called them saying there was something wrong and we wanted them to check it since the disposal was under warranty. First, they told me it was not because we got it on the previous year dismissing the fact that it was in December so just a few months had passed. Then they said it was under warranty and they would come over. They found A TEETH FILLING in the disposal and they charged us over 200 dollars. INSANE!!! If I could I would give them ZERO STARS.

i am a new home owner and contacted them for service and they scheduled me on a saturday with a 4 hour window and then called said they were running behind, i rescheduled for the next saturday and they did the same thing again and called me and said they were running behind. As a business owner i wouldn't have any customers.

I also needed several other services they offered which they would of found out if they had kept their appointment commitment.

After waiting 2 different times for 4 hours, to be told that i will need to wait longer tells me this company doesn't care for new customers or the customers time as they sit around waiting to not be serviced for hours on end.

So I have an emergency and called them:
The first time the message agent said someone will return my call within 10 minutes, but no one called me in 2 hours.
After I call back it appears that they took my number wrong. The message agent corrected my contact info and said my call will be high priority and someone will call me back with in 10 minutes.
But I don't get the call either after another 2 house. So I have to call to them for the 3rd time, and this time the agent said the manager will return my call. The manager did return my call in 10 minutes but he said they are very busy and will not go to my places!!!

It just ridiculous to call them 3 times in ad day and wait for an entire day in hope someone could came but they just say they are busy....

I would  give them no stars if I could.  I had a water leak from the meter to the house.  The plumber was supposed to come out for the quote by 9 he showed up after 10.  He charged me  over 1000 to do the repair, The repair came with a warranty.  30 days to the day of the repair the leak sprung again. I called to get the repair at 7 am I was told I was on the schedule between noon and 4 that day.  By 430 no one has shown up no call.  SO I call them and I am told that I am on the calendar for the next day between 12 - 4pm.  Great followup great service NOT!!! let see if they end up showing up when scheduled tomorrow!!!

Jared was timely, extremely professional and friendly as well!  We called Allgood because our water bill had doubled in the last two months and we wanted to identify any possible leaks.  Jared was able to identify two problems immediately and offered fair pricing.  He was able to make all the repairs that day and was extremely thorough in explaining all of the warranties and identifying other things we should monitor over time.  Jared was extremely trustworthy and I would recommend him again without reservation.

The original post that I created was with a pure heart.

We had been without a decent heating and air conditioning for years, and the brothers did a great job.

However, thinking that we could continue to trust this company was a mistake.

We had a pipe issue, and called Allgood.

We were told that the pipes had to be replaced to the mainline to the street.

Pipes were replaced, and we were ensured that the foundation of the home and where the plumbers dug up, was secure.

It gave me pause, because there was still a low dip from where the pipe was replaced in our driveway, and from our home to the driveway-there was a clearly visible gap that wasn't sealed.

After we have had multiple floods in our crawl space basement, from the pipeline that was dug out from Allgood, and the opening from the driveway that was left from the house to the driveway, we were then told, that we have a foundation problem.

We had to have an inspection, after the many long rains of late, that almost completely damaged our water heater and brand new HVAC system for thousands of dollars-the HVAC inspector took the time before ringing the door bell, to inspect the tarp that we had placed over the Allgood hole, to keep rain from entering what is now being called a sinkhole from the driveway, underneath our home.

The HVAC  inspector kept insinuating that it was a foundation problem, to which I informed him that we NEVER had a foundation problem or flooding before the Allgood pipe installation that dug up our basement and driveway.

The plumber, Terry, came back and insisted that it was a problem that Allgood could not be responsible for, or do anything about.

We also found out from another contractor that they performed all of this work without a permit from the city of Atlanta, which they charged us for and most likely pocketed-continued without the legal permit from the city.

Now, Allgood is telling us that we signed off on them doing the work, which was never even finished correctly in the first place.

BUYER BEWARE.

Allgood took the LAST of our savings, and we cannot do anything more at this point but continue to pump the rain water out of our basement, at our own expense.

No, thank you Allgood.

I recently had a toilet replaced.  The repairman was on time and did the work quickly, however, they charged an arm and leg...almost $900.  Shame on me for not getting the quote before they came out.  I have used them before, and prices were fair but on the high side.  If a toilet retails at $300, and they are charging $600 for 45 minutes of work, that is beyond high.  I asked for a itemized invoice, but they just charged a flat fee.  The repairman was short and not professional.
I called the office, and no one called back.  The repairman offered a $50 discount, but that isn't much considering what they charged.  I think I need to look for a new plumber in the future.

I just had some electrical work done by Allgood. They sent a licensed electrician and an apprentice. After taking at least fifteen minutes on a tablet to figure out pricing for a relatively simple job, they presented me with three options. All were exorbitant. I finally was able to negotiate a price which was down to double what it should have been. Because I needed to get this done within a narrow timeframe, I paid the price. However, in spite of the good work and very courteous technicians, I cannot recommend this company. Their pricing is beyond outrageous, but that's why there's the adage, Buyer Beware.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. These people are actually the most unprofessional, irresponsible, inconsiderate company I have ever worked with so I guess that's what the star is for, because that is a pretty impressive accomplishment.

Plumbing: I purchased a tankless water heater. The way they installed it was so bad and unsafe that they actually took pictures and had company wide meetings about the quality of the install. My house became infamous to the employees who on future visits noted that Ooooooh it was this house. The install took many visits from them, and days off of work from me to fix. The first installer also clogged my toilet and left it without saying anything. I ironically had to call someone from AllGood to come fix it.

The Quality of their Employees: On top of people who generally seem to not care about the thousands of dollars of customer money and time they are messing around with, as well as casually clogging toilets, they also seem to think that lecherous attitudes towards young single women are ok. I had the unfortunate experience of being sexually harassed by their employees twice. An employee disclosed inappropriate things to me such as cheating on his wife and how attractive he found me. When he came back another time he said I was trying to figure out why I knew this house and then I remembered that smokin' girl lives here. When I called AllGood and said that he was not welcome here any more they didn't even ask why.

Their Unprofessionalism and Inconsideration: This was the last straw. Let me preface this by saying that I am a freelancer and union employee. When you freelance the potential to work with new people is invaluable. It broadens your net of potentially working again. When you work a Union job it pays into your health care and retirement benefits. When you turn down a job you are not only turning down money but those things as well.
Today I had the install of a new HVAC system scheduled. This had been done weeks in advance. They had come out and assessed the unit and taken pictures first. I had turned down two union jobs lasting two days so that I could be here for this. (They have proven incompetent when I've left the key for them to come in while I am not home to monitor them.) Two days of me not working comes out to between $700 and $900 dollars.
Not only were they 30 minutes late, they did not knock on my door but rather I caught them going up to my roof because I could hear them. They didn't say hello and they didn't tell me that they left without doing anything. I had to go look for them and realize that they were not there because I could not see a vehicle. I had to call and find out what was going on and where they were.
What was going on was that with all of the time they had on top of coming to the location beforehand, they had still not rented the right equipment and had called off the job and hadn't even told me.
They still haven't called me yet. After calling them it became clear that they could not accomplish the job today and I would have to miss more work like so many times before. Needless to say I cancelled the job. These people will not get any more of my money.

In summation I suggest you save your money. Give it to people who respect it as well as your time and do the job right the first, second, or even third time! This is really unfortunate. This company needs to learn to respect the customer who puts their trust in them.

I have a rental property and my property manager suggested Mr. Sparky come out to fix an electrical problem I was having with some outlets not working.  They came out and said that my electrical panel busbar was melted and I needed a new panel and that it would cost $5000.  I decided to get a 2nd opinion which was when I called Allgood to come out and take a look at it.  Paul from Allgood took a look at the panel and said that everything looked great but that I had 2 bad breakers that needed to be replaced.  He went out there knowing that the prior company had said the panel was bad and could have easily over sold me but he was honest and I really appreciated that.  I then asked him out of curiosity if he were to replace my electrical panel how much it would cost and he said $1800.  So not only did Mr. Sparky flat out lie about the repair needed he also quoted me $3200 higher than what it should have been.  Thanks allgood for being honest and fair.

I renovated my house before selling it this year and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They are dishonest, irresponsible, unresponsive, and horrible to work with. Scheduling an appointment with them is like not having one at all, because they show up whenever they want and not when they told you they would. They were hired to do an extensive plumbing job and left multiple gas leaks after moving the gas line to my stove, a huge leak under the bathtub after replacing the tub drain, and another huge leak under the master bathroom after installing a new sink/vanity. When I reported the horrible work to the company, they repeatedly told me a manager would call me but never did. I had to dispute the charges through my credit card company, and only got half back, even though their promise is a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back.  Do yourself a favor and DO NOT hire these people.

Service was good, prompt and professional. That said, I did not think the pricing was what I expected. Particularly to install ceiling fans. When I was given the initial quote, I thought it was high, but it wasn't itemized so I didn't realize they charge $256 per fan installation!!! Once I saw the itemizations (after the work was completed) I understood why the total was so high. I realize now I should have asked for the quote to be itemized before agreeing to the work, so it's my own fault, but had I understood the quote a little better I would have had fewer fans installed.

Levar came out to check the problem with an odor in the jetted bathtub.  He was super nice and friendly.  Based on his examination of the situation, he determined the problem pretty quickly. He explained the problem and gave me a very easy solution to try first, before doing any unnecessary extensive work today.  I bought the products he suggested and he told me what to do. He said if that did not work, just let him know and he would come back and work through to resolve the issue, if needed.  I used Allgood for electrical work done by Elijah and was totally satisfied with his work.  Very happy to work with a company that believes and stands by good service and very nice employees.  I will recommend Allgood and the gentlemen I dealt with, to friends should the occasion arise in the future.   Thanks.  Janie Osborne

Work was done in March to replace the Control Board on the ac.  Technician assured me that no other problems would occur. pathetic service today for plumbing.  i can't politely say what i actually think.  i am a repeat client, so you'd think they would have records on pipe diameter and such, but no.  the city finds a significant leak this morning on my side of the water meter box. they turn my water off around 11 am.  i wait for the plumber to arrive around 4pm to find they do not have the proper materials on the truck to do the repair and  i will have to wait until approximately 10am tomorrow.  that means i am without water for nearly 24 hours, and i have a farm, so my animals are without fresh water for all that time.  they say they support emergency and 24 hour calls, but that is not true not in my case.  i am sorely disappointed and very unhappy.  worst customer service ever!

Not too good with A/C. Their maintenance contract covers virtually nothing, not even air filters. What they do is an inspection twice a year. Then tell you whats wrong, and quote repairs. Other companies do the same on a contract, and cover most repairs, and are actually cheaper.

Came out and check the electric, let us know what needed to be done or upgraded, let us know how much to fix the things we wanted fixed. No high pressure you have to do it now, Robert was very nice, and made things easy to understand.

Allgood came out today (technician was Taylor) to look at our ductwork.
A previous company had put Dampers in, but they actually made the problem worse (1930's 2 story house on 1 furnace).
Taylor recommended Using Duct and Register Booster Fan, instead of just trying to sell us an expensive system we ddin't need. Out of 4 different companies, he was the only one to suggest an affordable option, even if it meant his company wouldn't make money off of it.

Allgood was recommended by our neighbors after we had a terrible experience with the Pink Plumber. Allgood is just that...All Good! I have used them five times now and have been completely satisfied each time. Water heater repair/replacement, dishwasher installation, garbage disposal replacement and a leaky toilet. The technicians are courteous and knowledgeable. They got right to the problem and did the repairs right the first time. Have never had to call them back. If I could give more stars I would!

Trust me I call the office and the personnel their are trained to lie big.
The person that was assigned didn't  know basis plumbing.  I
Realized  after he gave a incorrect diagnosis and a sky quote that I need to get this bootleg scammer out of my house. He then wanted to charge me a fee for service that he didnt perform. Ended up paying for service o didn't received.  I will never but recommend them to nobody if o still want that person to  continue to be that person friend, I will continue to tell everybody I met what a RIP off company they are. Highway robbery is what they are quilty of. Pls read the reviews before
You make a decision about choosing  ALLBAD!! I will read any company reviews before hiring anyone!!! Now the review is forcing me to give them a an a rating by not letting me choose the star I chose what a trick. This is not the rating I want to post.

We just had low-flow toilets installed to replace the 22 yr original American Standard Plebes that original came with the house.

James was prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous.  It was also refreshing to have an intelligent service professional on the job.  He knew which certificates I would need to complete for filing with the county.  He left both bathrooms spotless and you would never have known that we had work done.

I will admit to a little bit of sticker shock on the cost for the install, especially after we purchased the toilets, but having attempted to seat a new toilet on our own in prior years, we knew we needed a professional.  Plus, the county now requires a certification for houses built before 1994, so we went with the safe route.

As with anything, you get what you pay for.  The great reviews were reinforced by the service we received from the first call to the completion of the job.

My AC went out so had Allgood out to troubleshoot the problem. Tech said the transformer went out on the furnace but suggested I get a quote to replace the whole system since furnace is 11 years old. Had them come out to provide a quote but decided to do the repair. Scheduled the appointment for the repair on Saturday 6/17. No one showed up. Received no call or email or text so sat around for 5 hours for nothing. Called them and they said the tech had an emergency. Rescheduled for Monday. Again no one showed up. Called them again and they said someone would call me shortly. No one did. Call again two hours later expressing my dis-satisfaction and asked for a Manager to call me. Again no call. Call again. no call back. In fact, almost a week later, they still have not called . I had the repair done by another company and will NEVER use Allgood Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC do any work for me again.

I called Allgood to do a service call on an AC unit that froze up on a Friday in July when temps were in the mid to high 90's.  They put me on the service call list for the next day and were very nice.  I was impressed with their customer service and agreed to sign up for their subscription service plan for $36 a month (3 AC units) for the next year to get discounts and maintenance.

On Saturday at 2 PM--the start of my service window--they called me to say they were behind and needed to reschedule.  I understand that happens, but then they said they couldn't get to me until the following WEDNESDAY.  And they were just letting me know, right at the time I was expecting them to show up. How do you go from a Saturday to a Wednesday??  And is that how you prioritize someone who just signed up for your premium service subscription?  If this is how they treat premium customers when they first sign up, how are they going to treat you when you are fully locked-in for a year?  No thanks!  I cancelled the annual service plan and called another company who could come out the next day (on a Sunday).

My mother had a horrifying experience with this company.  She had a service call and the service man who came to her house made some very inappropriate comments and gestures.  Can you imagine the fear of being home alone and feeling uncomfortable and unsafe in your own home?!  My mother called the offices spoke to someone (supervisor) who was apologetic for her experience.  She was told a manager (William) would call her back to date, that has not occurred after a THREE calls!  It has been almost two weeks.  It is absolutely concerning that this behavior occurred and to add insult to injury this company not only would not return my mom's call but she paid for the service.  It is completely unacceptable that Allgood did not properly address this very important situation.  Please beware when inviting this company into your home.

So last night I called Allgood plumbing due to a leak from a water flow pipe connecting to my water heater. The girl on the phone apologized for not having any service for the evening, but would waive the service fee if they could schedule for the next morning first thing at 8am. So I went with that. I get a call around 10:30 to confirmed the service I needed, followed by we're not coming out there for free so the fee will be $$$. I was like why? The young lady said it would be waived for my convenience. So we went back and forth until I said whatever just send them. Guy pulls up around 11:15am and took 5 seconds to diagnose what we both knew and said he'd write it up in the truck. He literally walked to the truck, opened the door, grabbed a clipboard, and walked right back to me and said it will be $$$$. I'm like you didn't even write it up sir. To wrap this up, I will never call, use, or recommend this company ever! I ended up paying them for the trip fee for a 2 min review and sent them on there way! These businesses are failing us now.

James installed my regular faucet and the instant hot faucet as well yesterday.  He did an outstanding job and I am very pleased with his workmanship and his courteous and friendly demeanor.   I agree that the rates are a bit high for this work but I don't think I will be seeing any leaks under the cabinet after these were installed.  Many thanks James.

This company's HVAC techs are actually just sales reps. Allgood came out to inspect my heating in the winter of 2016-17. The tech spent less than a few minutes listening to my furnace and wrote it off as a total replacement, not worth any money to repair. He spoke to me in a patronizing manner the entire time about how he liked me for some reason so much that he wouldn't be turning the gas off because 'normally' this would have been a hazardous situation and it would be his 'responsibility' in the state of Georgia to keep me safe. He then took his 100$ and left and sent a comfort advisor (their titles, not mine) to come by and give me a quote for a full replacement (about $7,000).

I ignored their quote and continued to use the heating because it was still limping along. The next winter I was having the same issues again and this time called a different HVAC company, whose technician spent more than 2 hours in the crawl space inspecting the furnace to see what was going on. He fixed the issue, and charged about 350$. The same furnace has been running like new since, no issues at all for a couple years now. If I had listened to Allgood I would have wasted thousands.

AND to top it all off, they will continue to spam call you forever regardless of how many times you ask them to take you off the call list, up to today, which is what prompted me to finally write them the review they deserved. My suggestion would be to not even call this company in the first place.

Once again I was in need of service, owning a condo can get expensive.  My lights would not come on in the bathroom so I called Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating and Cooling.  I had such good experiences with the company that I decided to use them for electrical services.  I'm so glad I did.  Robert Smith's service was outstanding.  He arrived on time, he quickly diagnosed the problem, and explained everything to me in detail.  I think the prices were fair.  Great experience again!

This company didn't show up yesterday when I had an appointment.  When I called they scheduled me for the following day.  When I confirmed I was heading over to the house to meet a technician arriving in 40 minutes they told me the technician wouldn't come without a credit card on file.  I said I was meeting the technician and will be there in 40 minutes.  I was told if I met the technician I wouldn't need a card on file.  They refused to dispatch without a card on file.  This business is a scam.  Go to another plumber.  The receptionist on the phone tried to intimidate me.

Horrible experience. The tech missed 3 service appointments. We had to cancel meetings to meet with him two hours outside  his window. They installed our unit less than 2 years ago and it's already died. The fix will be $2,000. We called another company out and they said, that piece rarely goes bad, even in units over 10 years old. When it does go bad it's either an install error or manufacture defect. If you need me to fix it it'll be $1,250. Allgood refuses to fix the error but have decided to work with us and ONLY charge us the 1,250 the other company would have to fix their mistake. Horrible horrible experience. Only use them if you want to pay them to fix their mistakes only a year after buying an 8k hvac. Zero stars.

I recently called Allgood to make an appointment after my kitchen faucet started gushing water underneath the sink when I turned it on.  They scheduled me for the next day between 12 and 5.  I had an unusable kitchen sink, so I was happy that they were going to come out the next day.  At 4:00 pm the next day they called to tell me that they weren't going to be able to make it after all, but that I could reschedule the appointment not for the next day, not for the day after that, but in TWO WEEKS.  Seriously, from a next day appointment to two weeks out?  I wish they had just told me that from the beginning so I didn't lose a whole day waiting on them.

I requested a plumber to repair the clogged sump pump under my crawl space, which operates a below grade toilet.  Allgood sent a man that crawled part way under my house and came out stating I never could find that pump.  I told him he had to crawl around the HVAC unit and it was located just behind that.  He did not go back under to look at the pump, which was my chief complaint for service.  Rather, he came into my bathroom, pointed to my toilet and ask me, Is the problem here.. I replied, I don't know, that's why I called you.. He proceeded to snake my toilet and flood my entire bathroom.  I told him, since he was not going to crawl far enough under the house to look at the sump pump...he was not fixing my problem...he then said I'm sorry ma'm, and left out the front door.  He left a mess that I had to shop vac up for a half hour.  I'm grateful he did not ask for the $39 fee, disappointed in Allgood..they are supposed to be a plumbing company!!!

I cannot say enough good things about the folks at Allgood.  We had a clog in the main line that services our condo building which left half of our building without functioning plumbing.  After having several other companies come out and fail to diagnosis the problem, we finally called Allgood.  They sent out Ken, one of their master plumbers, and he was absolutely fantastic.  He worked tirelessly with us to diagnosis and fix the problem, even offering to come in on off hours to work to get the problem resolved ASAP.  Everyone we interacted with was helpful, honest, efficient, and kind.  I wish we had called them first!!  I will be keeping them on speed dial for all of our future plumbing needs and would highly recommend them (especially Ken!!).

I have a bad experience with AllGood installing NEMA 14-50 outlet for my Tesla model 3. AllGood incorrectly oriented the ground pin on the bottom (there is also good safety reason why it is recommended that ground pin should position on top, see homedepot/lowes/google for how NEMA 14-50 outlet should normally be oriented), which make the model 3 plug be in an awkward position when plug in and potentially harm the plug. When I inform AllGood of the problem, they did not stand behind their work and make it right, but charge me for coming out to turn the outlet 180 degrees. I trusted AllGood to know how most EV plug should be oriented or inform me of the common problem so I can contact the manufacture for info if needed. I am disappointed and will not be using their services anymore.

It's very interesting that on another review site this company has high ratings. If I could give them a zero I would. We used this company a year or so ago and if memory serves me correctly everything was fine. So we decided to try them again. HUGE mistake.

One of our bathroom showers and toilet was filling up with water and overflowing. I called them yesterday morning. I was given an arrival time between noon and 5 PM for service. I expressed how urgent this was as my family was afraid to run any type of water in the house.
Both the phone operator and dispatch acknowledged the urgency and said that someone would be out to help us.

I waited and waited.    At 4:45pm, still no plumber so I called the company to see if the plumber was on his way. I was put on hold then told that they had to look into something(?).  She could see my appointment but there appear to be a problem. I told her under no uncertain terms that I was greatly disappointed. This was an emergency and now it appeared that a plumber may not be coming. We could've called another plumber to take care of our plumbing issue.    She then said someone would be out.  I continued to wait for over an hour then called back only to hear that there was still a problem. I was then asked if they could reschedule a plumber to come in the morning(?).  Unbelievable... Again, mind you I could've had another company out to fix our issue but waited on this company to come through.  After I asked for the corporate number to register a complaint, I was transferred to dispatch to see what they could do. Dispatch then said the plumber said that he  had come out to our home and no one was here (?).   That was totally untrue.   A lie.  My family and I were here all day monitoring our plumbing issues while waiting for them with the front door open. Their plumber was also supposed to call 30 mins before arriving  ... We received no call either.  The dispatcher said she could also tell that this was untrue (that the plumber came and nobody was home).   She would have a manager call me right back to intervene.

Well,  here it is the next morning and I am still waiting for a manager to call me back. My husband said he knew no one was going to call me back... I had every hope that they would now do the right thing but my husband was right. No manager called us back.  After arriving home from a long day at work my husband was able to temporarily fix the issue but we are still in need of a plumber and will try someone else this morning.

When you need a plumber... It is not a joke. You really need one!  I would not recommend this company.  I was lied to and strung along all day and evening, nobody ever arrived to fix the issue, then the lie ... the plumber came and no body was home.  Lol .. seriously???  Mind you I had spoken to them several times til evening and they assured me he was still coming.  The last lie ...  a manager was to call us back to intervene and he never called us back either.  It's now the next morning and still no call from this company.

This is a privately owned company.  It's motto is to treat people the way they themselves want to be treated.  They really missed that mark yesterday.

I had to call Allgood for electrical and plumbing services recently. The experience was beyond outstanding. Both Christian and Mark were extremely personable. They were very patient in explaining each step of the process as well as the cost. I had a pleasant experience with AllGood. My water heater started leaking overnight, I called at 8am in the morning and James N. was at my house by noon. James quickly assessed the issue and gave me a quote for a new water heater on the spot. After we agreed on the work, he went right to it and the job was done by around 4 or 5. Everything was done well and seems do be working great right now. My only criticism would be that the work area was left a little messy, but that wasn't a big deal to me. Overall, the whole process was very positive, James was clear and professional, the job was done well, quickly and without any hassle. I would definitely use and recommend AllGood in the future.

I'm a little confused. To rebuild my master bath toilet- aka replace the inside of the toilet - it's $149- I asked what the fee would be for a new toilet since the rebuild was SOOOO pricey - they showed me their price sheet which listed low end $429 to their higher end toilets $649. I asked him to check a leaky sink also, he advised to replace a plastic pipe and steel ring ( he called it a basket strainer) under my kitchen sink it would be $229???? The parts for both jobs are less than $60 in total at Lowes, Home Depot or Walmart.

Hence, why I am confused!!! Why is their labor charge SOOOO much? My step father replaced these items for me a few years ago (so I know the costs) - he's not here so my hubby & I just decided to call a plumber and have them knock it out.

Well...long story short- I saw this company's ratings on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They are very professional & prompt. But, you are going to PAY PAY PAY for their services. The technician was also very nice, & thorough, but no way am I going to pay this type of money for home repairs that will take less than an hour in total. I am 100% positive that I can find a reputable plumber that can complete these repairs at a fraction of the costs. I wanted to love Allgood Plumbing but NO. Love their service, not feeling their absorbent prices. I paid $38 for a toilet tune up on my downstairs guest bath and will find someone else in my price range to complete the other repairs.

So, I had an issue with my sump pump in my basement ... being a sales guy and not a plumber, I really did not want to mess with it.  So I called this company. Said their guy would be there the next morning between 8 am and noon ... would receive a call one hour before he arrived.  Call received at 8:20 ... he shows at 10:20!  Strike one.  He comes in and I start telling him about what happened ... I said I think it might be the sump pump ... he stands there and says Yep, $1185.  WHAT?  You're not even going to to see if that's the problem ... when I said I thought that was too much ... he said ... Then how do you want to pay the $39, check or credit card.?  I wrote the check and sent him out the door!  I took off the cover, plundered through the water, found the float and switch on the ejection pump, pushed it ... it engaged.  Problem fixed.  Works like a new one.  Thanks YouTube.com.  Your videos are much more helpful and much more ethical than companies who want to screw you out of their hard earned money!  Stay away from this company.  The only thing this guy was good for for 30 years is cramming donuts in his mouth!

Five star service from phone reps to plumbers.  I received a call about 30 mins ahead of time, as promised, to give me a heads up that the technician was on his way.  Jim arrived and without me asking him, put on some booties to avoid damaging my floor.  He provided me the quote and said he was ready to start on the job if I wanted to move forward.  He installed a gas valve, tested it, and even provided a quote for another job I was inquiring on.  Overall he was very attentive, friendly, and efficient.  Will definitely call upon him in the future!  If you need a plumber, ask for Jim!

I installed new granite kitchen counters and needed Allgood to install a fancy new touch-free faucet, soap dispenser and garbage disposal.  I also need to have faucet leaks fixed in both sinks in the master bathroom.

First, Mike, my customer service rep was awesome.  We scheduled for the work to be done the morning after the granite installation.  However, the granite was delayed to Friday so we had to reschedule for Saturday morning, Memorial Day weekend.  Mike was extremely pleasant and efficient and quickly was able to accommodate the change in plan.

Daniel, the technician, arrived as scheduled, first thing Saturday morning.  He was clean-cut, well-spoken and sharply dressed.  (He also matched the picture Allgood emailed me.)  He carefully listened as I described the scope of work and carefully planned his approach.  It was complicated because 1) the new faucet was very sophisticated, 2) the garbage disposal had a different installation than standard, and 3) because the new sink is significantly deeper than the old sink, he had to completely reconfigure the drains/p-trap/vent.

After carefully evaluating the job, Daniel presented the estimate.  I have to say, we were a little shocked at the cost.  It was about twice as high as we expected (although I am certainly not a plumbing estimator).  I understood it was a complicated job, but it still seemed high.  True, he had to go out and pick up some PVC for the drains and four cartridges for the bathroom faucets, but the parts could not have cost more than $200.  Subtracting those materials out of the total price, and dividing by the time he actually took (including the parts run and, I assume, lunch), it came out to $300 per hour.  Maybe that's the going rate; I don't know.  But, what were we going to do.  We had company coming and HAD to have the work done.  So we signed off on the estimate.

Daniel got right to work and diligently got the work done.  He was a very pleasant young man and obviously very knowledgeable and well-trained.  He very carefully arranged the area under the sink to minimize clutter and maximize convenience.  He checked and double checked that everything worked as it should had that there were no leaks.  He cleaned up after himself.

So, Overall I give Allgood an A.  The price thing is partially my own fault for not educating myself better before the appointment.

After discovering that my water heater had expired and flooded my basement, I went online to locate a good plumber, but what I ended up with was an excellent plumber!  Tom showed up quickly the same day I called, explained that my water heater needed to be replaced, and expertly described my options for replacement.  Based on recommendations, costs, and timelines, I decided to replace the water heater with a tankless water heater.  Tom was able to get a temporary fix for my hot water situation that day, and then returned the next day to patiently spend 10 hours installing the new tankless water heater.  I have been very happy ever since!  Tom was extremely knowledgeable and took extreme care during the installation.  He also addressed other plumbing concerns that I had, and I will definitely be using Allgood's services again.  Very professional in knowledge & presentation!  You can't go wrong!

Well this company has turned their business around to be a total scam. They came to one of my properties for an outside leak and quoted between $600-$900 to dig up the area and fix the pipe. Well once the ground was dug up they said now it would be $2200 because they had to break up the sidewalk or I could just replace the entire line to the street for $3300.

Typical bait and switch. I sent them packing but was still charged $400 to dig a 1 foot hole. Absolutely do not use this company unless you want to get ripped off.

First off, though this company is called Plumbing AND Electrical, if you want anything more than a fan hung, or light switch repaired, look somewhere else. They have at most 2-3 electricians on staff. A month ago I tried them a month ago for some basic electrical work, and seemed professional enough (though were eager to push a surge protector upsell) and scheduled them for a second project including a major (1-2 day) rewire as part of a kitchen renovation. The appointment was scheduled to coordinate with the arrival from Florida with my father-in-law (a contractor) to do cabinet installations and oversee electrical repair and prep for the new appliances. After being told they would arrive first thing the day of the job and after multiple call the electrician doesn't arrive until 4:00pm! AND they have higher priority customers first (priority hang a ceiling fan?!) looking at the project the electricians gives the run around that they may have someone come next week?! Why did I make appointment TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE?!  In desperation to get at least A project  done I scheduled a toilet installed to be done between 10-2 the next day. At noon I call to check when they will arrive, and.  They say I have no appointment for me on record?!!!  These schedulers need to be fired! The plumber does show at 4pm, hmms and haws for a while (likely realizing it's quitting time) he makes some excuses that his pipe glue is sticky, and will have to reschedule.  NEVER AGAIN.

AVOID ALLGOOD! We have had a terrible experience with them. Our issues:
1) POOR SERVICE - we spent a significant amount of money with Allgood installing a new system in our home. The new system broke within about 2 weeks because they installed it incorrectly. Despite our house being 90+ degrees and the break was their mistake, they would not send someone out to fix it that day, and we had to wait until the next day. The fix took 2+ hours, and they kept telling me over and over only 30 more min.
2) Their 24/7 emergency service is a sham - If your house is 90 degrees and your small children can't sleep, you cannot count on them to help you. On 3 separate occasions we called them because our AC broke (once was right after they installed the new $7k system for us - see above) and our home was 90+ degrees. They were never able to come out to even diagnose the issue for at least 12 hours and usually more, and the fix would take even longer.
3) Lack of punctuality - they sent the same technician multiple times, and each time they'd call to say he'd be at my house in about 45 minutes. In both cases, I called after 75+ min had passed to ask where he was. In both cases, he was 5 min away and would show up almost immediately. The first time they claimed he had gotten lost - for 30 min! The second time he hit traffic when I could see that there was minimal traffic on Google Maps.
4) Disorganization - When I was sent a quote to replace our new system, the quote sent back to me was just a number. No indication of what I was getting for that number. It took back and forth to get a satisfactory explanation of what the quote entailed. Later, when we wanted to install the system, they had no record of the quote, and I had to forward them email to show them the number I had been quoted.

I cannot recommend Allgood to anyone. There are better services in Atlanta, and I suggest you find someone else.

UNRELIABLE!!!  Had Allgood install a hot water heater and do other plumbing repairs over the last few years.  Never had a problem.  This time I called with a problem with the water heater, still under warranty, and was given an appointment the next day between 8 and 12.  Waited all day and at the end of the day got a call saying they're still on other jobs and I will need to be rescheduled.  Rescheduling day came (appointment between 10 and 2)  and when no one showed up, I called and was told they were again behind.  I asked to speak to a manager to find out what I can expect.  Manager (Darren) called, apologized and said someone will call me in 25 minutes.  No one called, but at the end of the day I got a voicemail saying they overbooked and will call me to reschedule. That was two days ago.  Needless to say, I won't deal with them anymore. Failure to keep two appointments and the inability to communicate properly with the customer is not acceptable.

Had Allgood out on a Saturday to replace the 30 year old faucet on my shower and to hydro jet the sewage line.

Ken called to let me know he was en route, but then had an emergency call that needed to take priority and he'd be over ASAP. I really appreciate the courtesy call and, once he arrived, he was very polite and explained the work he would need to do and asked for my input.  After cutting pipes and getting the new parts installed, he cleaned everything up and was on his way.

Prior to this I had Allgood out to replace my water heater and install a new toilet and I am very pleased with those jobs as well. Their scheduling team is always sweet and calls ahead of time to confirm appointments... I really appreciate the appointment on the Saturday after Thanksgiving as it really accommodated my crazy work schedule.

I needed an HVAC and plumber and Allgood was able to schedule both appointments on the same day. Everybody from the office making the appointment to the guys that came to service the units were very friendly. I thought $400 to clean coils in an HVAC was a bit high. Overall a good experience.

On the front end, customer service was great - staff were polite, courteous, kept my interests in mind.  Staff did a very good job of keeping me apprised on a slight delay, sent Josh's info over so I would have a background of the tech doing the work. Josh was professional, courteous and did a quality job. The negatives were not providing a phone quote up front for a basic job of installing sink pop-ups and the very high price. I made mistakes by (1) not absolutely insisting on a phone quote, and if not provided, decline the work, and (2) when presented a price of $320 for the sink pop-ups, I should have eaten the $39 trip fee and sent Josh on his way and either engaged a handy man or tried it myself.  But the day was right and I went forward.  Did I have an Allgood experience and did I end up being a satisfied customer - no.  Will I refer Allgood to friends, neighbors, family - no, with the exception of say an emergency when time factor/good work outweighs price.

Allgood was bought by ARS a few years ago and ARS took them from the best home services company I'd used to a company I will warn others against using.
Most recently, I called Allgood Friday morning for plumbing services because I have what appears to be a broken fill valve, which is an easy fix. But when I went to cut the water to the toilet from the cutoff valve so I could fix it, I found that valve was not working and I couldn't cut the water off. Not something I want to mess with. So the toilet is just running and running.

Allgood told me they could have someone out between noon and 5 pm same day. Great! About 6 pm I get a call from them apologizing for not making it out. The call drops and I wait a minute for the guy to call back but he doesn't, so I call and talk to someone else. She initially says she can't get someone out until Monday. I tell her I would have called another company if I'd known they weren't coming and she said OK, we'll get someone out between noon and 5 pm tomorrow (Saturday). It's now Sunday and I haven't heard from them since Friday.

Time to find a new plumber.

Buyers beware of Allgood Plumbing! Allgood Plumbing changed a bad sump pump in September 2018 for $1,000.00. Gave me a year warranty. I had them check the pump early September 2019 before warranty ran. Told it's running fine. Sump pump malfunctioned last week. Today I was told by the technician he can check on whether he can get it to work for $650.00. If can't get it to work $1000.00.

I needed to have my sink hooked back up after having new countertops installed.  I called two weeks before the date that I needed it done hoping to get a quote. Unfortunately I guess most plumbing business don't give quotes so I went with Allgood because of the reviews.  I had asked a friend who also just had her countertops replaced how much she paid and thought how bad could a shot in the dark be.  I bought the Yelp deal and waited for the day for my countertops to be done and my sink back in use.
I wish I remember the person who came to my house.  He was very professional and easy to having my home. He was knowledgeable and kept a very tidy workspace.  I am also extremely pleased with the work that I had done. My only complaint the cost. With the promotion a $50 off I still paid almost $500 to have my sink hooked back up the garbage disposal and faucet installed. I was needless to say shocked how much I was going to have to pay and felt that I was bent over the barrel because I had already spent $50 on promotion and would've been charged $40 just have someone come out to my house.  I looked for reviews that mention cost and I didn't see many I just want other people to know how much you might be expected to pay.  But with that being said I was happy to have running water again in my sink.

We called Allgood to come out and clean our roof vents for our plumbing. We made this clear. This is what we wanted them to do. Well...not only did the plumber insist that wasn't the problem, he tried to tell us that a pipe was full of water and that it would cost $7,000 to repair it. Um....are you nuts??? My husband asked if we could check to make sure there wasn't any water...guess what, the pipes were fine!!

He then went on to try to auger both toilets and both bathtubs to see if that would fix the problem. In the process, he scratched the heck out of the porcelain in the toilet, and left a huge mess in the tub. He charged $215. And is the problem fixed? NO!!! He said he couldn't refund the money but he could pull up both toilets and try to get a sewer auger in there...but that would probably ruin the pipes and would cost $7,000 to fix it.

Oh, by the way, the problem is roof vents. We just have some gurgling toilets. Honestly, just do the freaking service I asked you to do!!!

We are done here for tonight. He dawdled getting out of the house so that we couldn't reach any customer service reps after 7pm.

Absolutely unacceptable service. We will NOT be calling them to service our home again.

We purchased all new kitchen appliances.  We needed a plumber to do a test run on the dishwasher refrigerator and washing machine to ensure that everything was hooked up properly and running correctly. When the technician arrived, he wanted to start on paperwork from the get go which was fine with us. He was explained to us that his work had a 90 day warranty that was included. When we got ready to sign the paperwork we noticed the price of $748. My husband said, Is this correct?  And the rather younger technician said, Yep.  He also said that he didn't make the prices. He didn't even offer to call a manager to clarify pricing.  We checked with a few other plumbers plumbers and the highest price quoted was about $300!   People need to know that this company charges WAY above industry standard for work.  Customer service is always key but if the plumber in your home doesn't understand the breakdown of pricing, chances are you're being ripped off.

Thanks for the lesson.  I called Allgood for electrical work.  The work was fine. It was easily done in less that an hour and a half.  My issue is that I was interested in getting the work done and didn't pay close attention to the price workup that the technician gave me I ended up paying something like $400 per hour for some very simple work.  I called the office the next business day and was told my issue would be referred to a manager and I expected a call back.  No such luck.  It is week later. I have read a number of reviews at this site and realize that not only should I not have expected a call back, but I never should have called them for the work in the first place

This place really needs to work on their communication.  I called the first time and was told I would have someone come between 8-12pm.  I explained to them that I had to be gone by noon so if they could come early that would be great.  I called the morning of because it was around 10am only to be told they would not make it before I had to leave (strike one).  So I figured okay I'll give them another chance.  so I called back to re-schedule for Sunday from 2-6pm.  I called on Sunday just to be sure they were coming only to be told they had me down for the following Sunday (strike two).  Seriously???  I felt this was extremely unprofessional.

I paid monthly fees for several years to be a preferred customer and receive priority service calls for hvac, electrical, and plumbing. Every single appointment I have ever had, they have given me a 4 hr window time period and never once made it on time. Most times they never even show. When they do, they try to sell ridiculous unnecessary big ticket projects like redoing the whole house electrical or getting new hvac units. This is the WORST company ever. I feel like a moron for ever signing up with these guys. The better business bureau should shut these guys down.

Service was very good, thank you. I'm giving Allgood a low rating because I feel that their prices are disproportionately high! I was charged a ridiculous amount of money to fix the plumbing and electrical issues after an annual check up. I've signed up for the annual check ups for plumbing, electrical and cooling/heating systems thinking I'd save money if anything needed to be fixed, but even with their discounts it was really high. I regret signing up for this service and won't renew it next year.

This is the second time I've used Allgood for basic plumbing work.  The first was to fix a busted pipe to my outside spigot that had frozen and the second was to replace the pressure valve.  The workmanship and professionalism were both great.  Two different technicians and both were great, very polite and knowledgeable.  There was no pressure or upselling attempted, just proposal for the work I called them for and recommendations for anything else they noticed might need attention.

I can't say whether their fees are reasonable or not because I haven't used anyone else but from my research, plumbing fees in Atlanta are expensive so I just accepted it.  I went with the highest rated company in Yelp (Allgood) and sucked it up.  With plumbing repair you don't want to do something on the cheap or half-ass or you're going to pay even more for it later.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The worst service I've ever had. Be careful when you buy a furnace/hvac system. Allgood does not want to keep their end of the deal when it comes to warranties and will give you the run around. Will come out to make questionable quick solution repairs instead of replacing parts, so they don't have to foot the bill when you're under warranty but will cause you bigger problems down the road.  Don't expect a manager to be knowledgeable enough to answer warranty questions or find previous invoices. Allgood wants what's best for their company, not what's best for the customer.
I have a brand new HVAC/furnace that was about $8000. The coil that is supposed to last 10-15 years has only lasted 1.5 and has had numerous leaks. The technician that came to fix it while it was still under a 1 year labor warranty, decided to Sauder the coil instead of replacing it. A year later, we've have another leak in the coil. After speaking with a manager, he agreed that it should have been replaced instead. So instead of making things right and comping me for the labor and part that THEY destroyed, I was only offered a small discount and service agreement. 2 $500 power bills, a $275 diagnostic fee, a tech no showing my appointment making my husband lose 2 days of work, and $2000 worth of labor could have all been avoided if Allgood would have done what was right in the first place. I'll have a more trustworthy company come out to fix the job.

My spouse and I recently moved and called on Allgood to get an estimate on installing a tankless water heater and fix the water pressure in the house. Terry H fixed the water pressure reducing valve and also installed the tankless heater (the one in our house was pretty old and we didn't want to wait for it to break down to replace it). After installing it he explained how to change the water temperature, how often it would need to be serviced, etc. Friendly folks, no surprise costs, no lingering plumbing issues that weren't properly resolved. Overall we had a good experience with allgood and would recommend them to anyone looking for a local plumber/electrician.

So far as I am concerned, this company is all bad.
I had a very bad experience with this company. Allbad charged $579.00  to install a ceiling fan that cost $70. (After several calls, they took off $191 because the company had a coupon on its own site for $89 installation, even though the company originally charged $270 for the installation. The remainder of this exorbitant charge -- $309 --was to install a fan brace box, which William, the owner or manager, refused to budge on). I would never have agreed to this charge, and, in fact, I did not agree to it.  A family member who was very ill was staying at my house at the time. I was not home. She called Allbad. They told her that my house could go up in flames if she didn't fix the fan right away. She fell for the scare tactic, high-pressure sales pitch. So, the family member, who is cognitively impaired, signed the estimate and paid for it -- with my credit card. The company never asked for proof of ownership or proof that the card was hers. This may be a very unusual situation, in that the homeowner was not home and did not authorize the charge. I do not know how often this may come up; maybe a lot. But the bottom line is that they charged a very exorbitant price to install a ceiling fan, and they had to know it was outrageous. The typical price to install a ceiling fan in Atlanta ranges between $140-$190. It feels to me like someone tried to scare an impaired, older woman into spending three times what it cost to replace a ceiling fan.
In addition, when I called the company to try negotiate a better price, William was not customer-oriented. He said that he was listening to me but that I was not listening to him and hearing his side of the story. I knew his side of the story: I had a copy of the receipt to show the outrageous price he charged. He started telling me how much it costs to run a business ...sob, sob, sob...as if I am a dummy ( I am a woman, after all) and know nothing about prices and the costs of doing business -- or of owning a home.
The saddest part of all this is that the overcharge could have been used to help my family member.
To repeat: not only was the charge exorbitant, but Allbad company manager/owner William was inflexible and rude. In addition, he refused to return several follow-up phone calls. I just called again and was told to send him an email. After dealing with this company for nearly five weeks, I decided to post a review instead. I have given up on the company yielding to my pleas for a fair price. I was hoping that I could negotiate a fair price of, say, $200. I of course want to pay for work that was performed, but I don't even think neurosurgeons make $579 an hour, which is what the charge came to. Even dropping it to $400 is outrageous.
While Allbad may receive business for being veteran-owned or operated, I think people should know that it is kindness-impaired, gender-insensitive and most likely age-ist as well. I appreciate the service to our country that someone in the business gave, but I do not appreciate the poor service and exploitation that the company showed to my family.

Our 4 year old Rheem tankless water heater thermostat kept disconnecting and turning off and on leaving us without hot water, so we called Allgood based on their Yelp reviews.  Allgood was very responsive.  When James and his apprentice came to check our system,  they seemed to be knowledgeable about our problem.  After spending a few hours and nearly $500, they serviced our water heater and left.  Shortly after leaving, our thermostat disconnected again.

I called Allgood again and James came back the next day.  James said that the error code 13 related to the flame burners and he would clean them again, even though they had been cleaned the day before.  The repair still did not work, so James suggested that we buy a new replacement unit, but they did not recommend replacing it with another Rheem ($688 at Home Depot).  Instead, they suggested a Rinnai replacement that would cost around $2,800, but they would subtract the $500 repair fee charge from the total.

We have no hot water after spending $500.  We were told that Rheem water heaters suck, but Allgood was not able to repair the problem after spending so much money.  If Allgood can't repair Rheem hot water heaters, they should not respond to Rheem service calls.

Pricing makes me sick. Mark B. performed service on 4/23. He was personable and professional. And I was in a bind, which was the ONLY reason I had him complete the service: cut and cap 2 3/4 copper water feeds and cap a shower drain. The entire job took 1 hour including the trip to Ace Hardware to get the shower drain cap = $640. Yes, you read that right. All pipes and drain were completely exposed.

Allgood experience was Allbad.  We had a leak under the faucet coming from the disposal.  He didn't even assess it and saw a drop come down.  Just said we needed to replace it and it would be $450. Luckily my wife remembered it might be covered under the Home Warranty and it was.  Had to pay $75 on that for another plumbing company to come out and tell us it was fine just needed a screw tightened.  Also, said $450 for a new disposal was nuts.  Called Allgood about refunding the $39 and got the cliche will have to get with my manager.  Haven't heard back.  (See what I did in that first sentence?)

Terrible first encounter. Had these guys change a garbage disposal, which they did in 10 minutes and charged me 200.00 dollars for and the technician didn't knock out the drain plug in the new disposal. I bumped into this company due to a leak that needed to be addressed. Mark B was my assigned technician during the call. He was courteous and explained everything to me. Later in that same appointment I proceed to buy their annual service package so glad I did because a few months later my water heater busted in the basement when I called them early morning a technician FaceTimed me walking me through the steps making sure my main water line was cut off, a few hours later a technician arrived with a replacement water heater. I've been so happy that I keep getting the same technician Mark B. because he now knows my house very well including my family. Also when we request a service call and I'm not personally present for the visit he'll call me to explain the issue and my options.

Great service, reliable technicians!

I would give them zero stars if that was an option.  I chose this company because they had all services together and I needed to move some electrical and plumbing in the same trench.  I called and very clearly requested both the plumber and the electrician together at the same time.  The morning of my appointment came and they called to let me know that while the electrician was on the way, the they had no idea when the plumber would be there.  I reminded the caller that I had scheduled for both to be here together for a reason.  Apparently that is too complicated for this company to figure out, as I was told they couldn't do this because they would have to schedule two different departments.  Not twenty more minutes later I got a call saying the Electrician had engine trouble and couldn't make it either until possibly as long as 6 hours later.

While everyone was very polite, it does you no good if you cannot do what you commit to or respect customers time, we have jobs too.  I cancelled my appointment and will look elsewhere.

Over a year ago I paid thousands of dollars for a new furnace and electrical system to be installed.  I'm now paying other contractors to correct the shoddy work done by Allgood.  The furnace should have it's own breaker but they didn't wire it that way so the breaker kept shorting out.
I just had a new circuit board installed in the furnace which went out a week ago.
When I called about the electrical problems I was told they no longer had that department and couldn't have been more unconcerned with customer service.
I would recommend everyone to avoid this franchise that seems to be more concerned about the quantity of business rather than the quality of work.

Allen Haas is an excellent plumber.
Our project required ditching from house to street.  That portion however was not an excellent value for the ultra-high-end costs.   The backfill was not compacted nor was grass reseeded. Upon preparing the yard ourselves, we found the top 3 inches of disturbed earth backfill contained three wheelbarrows of concrete pipe shards and fist-sized and larger rocks and bricks escavated from deeper in the trench.
Other than spending 2 days attempting to reseed the yard ourselves, we are satisfied with the underlying work... so far.

Their customer service definitely isn't lacking. I was contacted when they said they would from Tiffany, and Elijah (The technician) was super professional.

But, I would never do business with this company. In the estimate, I was double charged for each trade (Assemble & Install as one line item, and then Move/add wiring). Shouldn't install encompass the entire installation process? They wanted to charge $476 + $515 just to mount a TV on a wall and run two HDMI cables... THATS MORE THAN THE TV COSTS... Total invoice was $4065 (YIKES) for a job that ultimately costs less than $1000 to complete. The company I ended up going with, wasn't even the cheapest at the $1000 number.

5 stars for customer service, 0 for pricing.

Allgood has come to my house several times over the years.  I keep calling them back because each time they have done an excellent job.  My water heater just exploded and flooded my basement so I thought it was a good time to finally write a great review of Allgood. In a panic, I called and they showed up with a brand new water heater  and had it installed by 10pm.  Allgood even worked around the cleaning I had to call in to get the water out.  But that was just the latest episode, Allgood has pulled a cell phone case out of my daughter's toilet, unclogged drains, installed new kitchen appliances, fixed lights, hung new lighting.  Allgood is just truly remarkable and I can't thank the company enough for all its trusted, exceptional professionals it hires.

Allgood plumbing was called to repair a leak in one of my properties.  They cancelled the first time 1 hour before the appointment.  They rescheduled with my tenant and never showed up with no phone call or notice.  They made my tenant take off work and wait for 5 hours and never even contacted us to tell us they were not going to show up.

$1200 to replace valves in 2 sink and tub faucets. Run, don't walk from this company. Outrageously overcharges, and takes advantage of elderly people who are not able to know when they are getting taken advantage of. Listen to the other reviews.

Very unhappy w/ Allgood in Loganville. They came out to replace the handle on my toilet (Home depot handles would not fit as it is a larger commercial toilet) It took the technician less than 5 minutes to make the repair, and I was charged $161 dollars. We were told that their standard charge for changing a handle is $146 whether it takes 3 minutes or 3 hours. I've spent about $5000 w/ them over the past few years. They'll get no more of my $$.

I had a leaky toilet that needed to be addressed along with some other minor issues in my house.  They charged me over $300 to replace 3 seals.  In hindsight I could have had a a decent new toilet installed for the same price.  Option was never offered to us.  Plus I have a kitchen faucet that was loose that I asked to be tightened but the plumber said he didn't have the tool to complete this, which I found hard to believe.  I know the tool, I didn't want to shell out $25 at The Home Depot for a one time use job.  Maybe just lazy.  I would get a second opinion or quote before going with these guys.  I won't call them again.

We recently needed to run electricity to the far side of our house for safety flood lights, as well as a few other places, so we called Andrew Fagan in the electric department. Not only was he personable and just an overall nice guy, but I could tell he cared about customer satisfaction as he explained his process, and presented and allowed me to select the option that made me most comfortable. Andrew was extremely knowledgable and dealt with the quirks and challenges of our older home with professionalism. Quality product at an affordable price. We will definitely be calling him again - highly recommend!

if there was a rating of ZERO, that is what I will give. This company came out to my home and installed a new AC unit, the quality of work is AWFUL, equipment looks to be thrown together with cheap tape, wires and cords not reattached, trash left around the unit itself, not worth the money that I had to pay. I called to speak with a supervisor , but was transferred to voicemail, another representative was to follow up with me, but never showed up or called to say they couldn't make it, just a NO SHOW.Please, Please stay away from this company, they talk a good game, but it ended up being a total RIPOFF !!!!!!

I talked to Tameshia on the phone and she was so nice and helpful. She went above and beyond to answer my questions and double check that her information was correct. I don't need plumbing services at the moment, but in the future when I do I will be calling this company because of my positive experience today on the phone with her.

So I'll start by saying that the AC technician was professional, courteous, and knowledgable. They're not the cheapest in town when it comes to getting Air Conditioner repairs (ended up costing ~$200 to get a $15 capacitor replaced), BUT they seem to be good at what they do.

The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the technician that came over was VERY slow, not at diagnosing the problem but surprisingly at calculating repair estimates. He sat in his van for literally an hour each time he would go back to run the numbers on how much it would cost to get the job done. The company gave him a fancy iPad that he clearly was having a hard time using and entering info in. I might be mistaken but I think he did his first analysis on paper and then transferred it all to the iPad while he sat in the van. Out of the ~4hours he was at my place, I can safely conclude that he spent 30-45mins running the diagnostics / doing the repairs and the remainder with the paperwork. Even the payment process was painful since the iPad kept freezing. I ended up writing down my credit card number so I could get back to work.

Bottom line: They're definitely a little pricey but not the worst. Make sure to budget a few hours extra than what you would expect the job to take - they're very slow.

I cant speak to Allgood's quality of work, but I had multiple electritains come out and quote out a job that took the electrian I ened up going with 45 minutes to complete. I paid $225 for an electritain that was responsive, on time, polite, and provided quality work. Allgood's quote for the exact same job was $1200!!!!!!!! Be ware of price gauging. They might do good work but they will charge you MUCH more than what you should be paying.

This company is a complete bait and switch operation.  I had the company come and inspect my furnace for 3 years and suddenly the guy that came out today said it's full of asbestos.  How has no other technician ever seen it and magically it's laden with asbestos?  Awful company with terrible service and idiots for technicians. NEVER NEVER use this company.

I've been using Allgood's plumbers and electricians for years and have never had a complaint about the quality of their work or the professionalism of their tradesmen. That said, the company had a better feel when it was still family owned. I have always paid more for Allgood than other fly by night service techs because they warranty their work for a year. Yes, others do the same but I'm far more confident that they will be around years after their work than others. The previous owners were Veterans and the new owners still give a military discount.

Everything was fine until they showed up at my house to perform the service. The technician quoted me a price of $360 for a procedure that numerous other electricians quoted me at roughly $125. The repair to be performed is a very simple installation of an exhaust fan that I have already purchased. I politely asked the technician to leave. Customer service called me afterwards to ask how things went. I told them what happened and instead of offering to come out and complete the repair for a reasonable price, they simply said thanks for the feedback. I would not recommend this company for electrical needs.

I have been a customer of All Good do a long time. They have installed a new heating unit and a new hot water tank at my house. I called for their AC tune up special the other day they scheduled it for a 4-8 time period I came home from work early, got a text saying the tech was on his way they never showed. I called the next day demanding a free service they scheduled me again for that day 4-8. I get a call at 2:00 saying he was on his way. I told him I was at least 40 minutes out and would get there as soon as possible. Got home waited 30 minutes sent the tech a text he replied back that he was on another call and I would have to call back in and reschedule. I was livid at this point called back in demanding to speak to a supervisor, of course they weren't available, was told they sent an email requesting for someone to call. No call, I called them this morning now they are saying she is out for the rest of the week and there is no other supervisor there that I could speak to. By far the worse customer service, most non professional way to do business. I will never use these people again and would not recommend them to anyone!

A possible negative star rating should be forthcoming, however this too would be too generous. Mind you, I am of full understanding the past several days in Atlanta has been extremely trying to the plumbing trades, but I gotta say there will never be a disaster disastrous enough for Allgood Plumbing, blah, blah, blah to be called!! Seriously!  So, like many of us in the Atlanta metro area, the extreme cold proved to be too much for our plumbing and we experienced broken pipes. We did our part and secured the leaky pipe and contacted Allgood on 12/23 in the evening with an appointment scheduled the next day. The process of the premium service fee was explained and the appointment was confirmed. 12/24 came and went with several confirmations made however, no service person ever arrived... hmmm? At approximately 6pm we were advised the dispatch who made the appointment made a mistake and we were promised the repairs would be made on Christmas Day. We accepted this decision and once again waited all day to no avail. Follow up calls for 12/26 and 12/27 were also accordingly promised and failed to arrived. Finally late on 12/27 another appointment was promised for 12/28. Now on a positive note, our serviceman Thad was fantastic and provided superb service and did repair the break in an efficient manner. Overall, I feel that we were deceived at best, but probably more likely we were just outright lied to repeatedly. Despite our efforts to contact Melissa and Melvin Music, the owners, to resolve our situation, or even someone in management, we were just lied to over and over again. It's not like we were unsympathetic to the overwhelming situation Allgood was put in with the huge numbers of service requests, but with the lies and misinformation being given to us us, we were forced to reschedule our holiday activities so many times, dare I say, Christmas has been a huge disappointment. All of this could have easily been avoided by simply providing an accurate schedule for appointments.  With that being said, Allgood Plumbing Heating etc will not be the last call I ever make, because I can absolutely guarantee Allgood Plumbing will Never be a service contractor I would utilize nor will I ever recommend to anyone

Called to book an appointment to either add to my existing hot water system, or to replace with tankless.  So, I received a callback to schedule a date and time for someone from Allgood to come out to my home.

So far, so good!  The person I spoke with was nice and friendly and told me someone would be there at 2:30 on such-and-such day. No window, a set time for 2:30. I was impressed as I'm now used to service calls putting you in some endless window that wastes the better part of your day!

The day of the set appoint I leave my offices in order to be at the house for my 2:30 appointment. I sit....I wait and wait, and wait....for 2 hours!  NOBODY ever showed up!

So...imagine my surprise when I return to my office the next day and find 3 voicemails from Allgood saying I have a technician ready to head to your house, but we need to speak to you before I send him!!!

Say what!  Your calling my work number, dialing my extension and leaving  a VM?  At no time does in dawn on you that I might me waiting at the house...you know, where the appoint is!!!!!

NEVER did anyone ask me for a cell number (I gave it to them anyway), or tell me if they did not reach me by phone prior to the appointment they WOULD NOT send someone!!!!????

So the long and the short of this learning experience....Allgood is very conscientious and worried about their time, but NOT so much yours!  And when I say not so much, I mean NOT AT ALL!

Never again Notsogood, never again -

I recently contacted Allgood Plumbing to provide labor only to replace two master bathroom faucets (I purchased the 8 on center spacing faucets) and to repair/replace a one foot piece of surface wall mounted 1/2 copper pipe in my garage which froze and split this past winter. I was shocked when the plumber quoted me on-site a cost of over $800.00. When I challenged the plumber on the reason for the cost - trying to identify why over $800 dollars - cost of labor? number of hours? etc? - the response I received was simply we do the work by the piece. Without going into more of the horrid details and unethical approach Allgood offered to me (including denial of my request to get a supervisor/manager involved from their office), I finally asked the plumber to leave my home. At which time, I was requested to write a check for $39.00 for the service call. It was not a service call - it was an outrageous estimate and an opportunity they felt to take advantage of what they considered an uneducated home owner. What they under estimated was the fact that I have been in the commercial construction industry for over 30 years.

My message/post today is to make buyers beware of Allgoods tactics and what I consider taking advantage of uneducated home owners who might feel they need to pay such a ridiculous price for a simple plumbing installation. Make sure you look to more ethical companies or at a minimum, get a second quote beyond Allgood Plumbing estimates before you hire them. This is one customer that did not hire them nor would anytime in the future.

UPDATE: The quality assurance manager, Josephine, kindly reached out to my mother after my reviews were posted. She was apologetic and forthcoming about the experience my mother had, and offered to fix her AC at a fraction of the original labor cost. I am impressed with Josephines attentiveness to the situation. It is disappointing that things had to be escalated in order to be fixed in a timely manner, but I am satisfied with the company's  response to the situation.

I am writing this on behalf of my mother and elderly father. All Good installed a new AC system for them 3 years ago. A year ago the AC stopped cooling and my mother attempted to reach out to All Good about the issue. She was unable to get a tech out to see the issue, so in desperation she called another company who sent someone out within 2 hours and had the problem fixed.

Come this past Friday, the AC stopped cooling again, and there was a horrible smell. My mother attempted to reach out to All Good again. She was scheduled between 12-4pm on Saturday. No one showed up and then she received a call at 5PM. The person she spoke with diagnosed the issue over the phone, and she was then told there was nothing they could do until Monday, but that she could still run the unit as it would work intermittently. The horrible smell came back, so she called All Good again and was told someone could come between 7PM and 11PM. She waited up until 11:45PM so she called yet again and was then told the tech is really backed up and wouldn't be there until 6AM. She was rescheduled for 7am-12pm on Sunday. Yet again, nobody showed. She called back at 1pm and spoke with Brian, who said she wasn't on the schedule and wasn't assigned a technician. He claimed that the overnight on call people don't know their schedules. She asked to be seen that day and explained the situation. He said he would try to get someone out there. She called back at 3pm after not hearing anything. She spoke with Alaya (who was the only pleasant person during this entire ordeal). Alaya said they had her down to be seen at 4PM. Alaya claimed to write an email to someone named Jason who was in management, and said he would contact my mother on Monday about the terrible experience.

Nobody showed up YET AGAIN for the supposed 4 o'clock appointment. My mom called back at 7PM and was told they would be there at some point that night. A technician finally reached out at 10PM to say he'd be there at 11PM. She was quoted over $1,000 in labor to replace the parts. She was told by the technician that someone would reach out to her about the price and the complications with service. She hasn't heard anything from anyone since the technician left. She reached out again today and spoke with someone who also claimed to be writing an email about these ongoing issues. This person said someone would reach out tomorrow.

Nobody seems to be on the same page with one another AT ALL at this company. Think twice before subjecting yourself to this absolute nightmare of an experience.

Until this summer, I'd have to say I was a big fan of Allgood. However, after my last experience I will NEVER use them again! I requested a quote to have my complete heating and air system replaced-they sent Jack out to my home. Jack surveyed my home and told me he'd have a quote to me within a week. Two weeks later I had not received anything, so I called and was told that they'd have Jack email me the quote that afternoon when he returned to the office....that never happen. 10+ calls and nearly 3 months later, I still do not have a quote. After multiple requests to speak with a Manager- at least 5 times. I finally got Tiffany on the phone. She offered very little for an explanation other that Jack is a nice guy and that they are very busy. Apparently so busy that they're unable to service their customers. She asked me why I even wanted to continue doing business with them...seriously, she asked why I still wanted to do business with them. After she asked me a third time in the conversation, I decided to do what she asked....and I fired them, something that seemed very OK with Tiffany. It is clear to me that they have no respect or make no priority for their customers. Having been a loyal customer for many years I have to wonder why they blatantly discarded me as a customer. I certainly hope it's not because of their interest in working in the part of the city I live in or the demographic category I fall in...cause that's not cool!

The plumber did almost NONE of what I asked for. This was a replacement of a water pump in a barn. He used only pvc pipe - far too weak to withstand animals bumping into it or messing with it. He put the turn handle right up against the exterior stall wall with no room whatsoever to reach your hand around behind it. Forced to turn it on using multiple small movements from the front only. Ridiculous. The hose attachment faced straight out, not down, causing the hose to stick out - another hazard for the animals - easy for a goat's horns to get stuck in there and pull the whole thing out. And the worse part? He secured the new fixture to the exterior stall wall using screws that went THROUGH the stall wall and poked out the other side by at least and inch! Right next to a horse water bucket! Total hazard for a horse's face!! I was livid.
It took Allgood several days to get someone to come back out. They canceled and changed my appointment 3 times! And even when they did show up, that person was only sent to look at it, not repair the job done wrong. Still waiting for them to actually come and do the job right.
Terrible terrible work. Terrible communication. Terrible customer service. Will NEVER use them again and will make sure all my friends and family know not to use them. Horrible company!!!

I'm not fan of giving 1 start review, but this company is deserving.  We had an urgent electrical problem at a rental home that needed immediate attention. We called and got the job scheduled for the same day. 4 Hours later, we received a voicemail saying that they've canceled the job.  They don't work with landlords?!? Very confusing to me because they've handled several jobs for me in the past. They believe that landlords only want an estimate from them and won't give them the actual job.  Isn't that what a diagnostic charge is for?  We have given them pretty much every job they've ever diagnosed before, so not sure why they are refusing service with our history.... and after we've waited 4 hours for the tech to arrive.

Their response to this is simple... We've changed our policy.  I understand making changes to policy, but refusing a job based on the type of ownership is pretty low.
