Tom Parrish Plumbing

After being stood up or ignored by some other local plumbers, we called in Tom and he arrived on time for both the estimate and the actual work. The work was done well, quickly and neatly. Tom was also easy to talk to and seemed truly sympathetic to our plight. A very good experience.

We have used Tom Parrish Plumming 3x now to install a new hot water heater, change out kitchen and bathroom faucets and  hose pipes, and to replace both of  our leaking hose bibs outside.

This is a local family owned company in Saint Cloud. We have had both the father and son, and both have wonderful personalities, and do great work at a fair price. I trust them to be honest about a problem, and not try to pad the bill by recommending unneccessary work.

I am a bit on the fence. I had a leak coming from under my foundation. I worked with Tom to try and diagnose the issue and I was on the same page as he was as to what the problem was. It was clear from my initial conversation that he was very knowledge, been in the area a very long time, friendly, and knew what he was doing. After the initial inspection, he left with a promise to have it fixed tomorrow. I did find it odd that he would not give me a solid estimate for the fix.

The next day, the plumber came and did the repair we discussed. He did a good job at it and there were no leaks coming from his new PEX plumbing he ran to bypass the line underground. He was here under 2 hours and the cost was six hundred dollars. This was a high price tag, especially without giving me a warning the day before, but I was happy to have it working and did not make a complaint.

The problem started two hours later when I saw that the problem had not been resolved and there was still water coming out of the foundation into the bedroom. Both Tom and I had guess wrong as to what the problem was. It was a tricky leak for sure. The plumber said that he would have Tom call me to see what they can do.

The reason for the 3 stars is that he did not call me. I am assuming that going back and trying to investigate why the initial fix didn't work is difficult but I was ultimately left to diagnose the problem myself and find another person to help resolve.
