DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Rainaldi installed two completely new HVAC systems in September of 2019. In the four years since, they have been at the house 34 times on service calls (NO THIS IS NOT A MISPRINT - 34). I have had every problem there is - capacitors, thermostat issues, units icing over causing water leaks from the ceiling, freon problems, etc. As the most recent Service Manager supposedly contacted the manufacturer and the Rainaldi owner himself to 'see what he can do', the systems failed yet again several weeks ago. Now the company will not return my phone calls. I am an elderly veteran on a fixed income and this was a big expense for me. But they have my money and it's clear they don't care about making anything right. Do not go through what I am still going through, waiting for the systems to break down for the 35th time. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

After paying $8000 to replumb a house, these scumbags tried to charge my elderly neighbor, $700 to change a PART in a toilet! Think twice about hiring! Better Business Bureau is a bunch of shit, you can BUY your way to an A+ rating! Such bullshit!

Long story, but here we go...Kitchen was damaged from a dishwasher leak.  Having dealt with the insurance company and having the repairs completed, the last thing we needed to have a working kitchen after 2 months was to have the plumbing reconnected.

I called Rainaldi's at about 8:30 on Friday morning and explained the situation.  The woman who answered was very nice.  YES, they would be able to be out the same day.  I requested an afternoon appointment and was told, NO PROBLEM.

At about 2:30, I hadn't heard anything so I called.  Not to worry I was told, You're the next on on the list.  As soon as the tech finishes the job he's on he'll be over.

4:00 came, still no call, so I checked in.  I told them, it's getting late, this will take a few hours.  You're the next one on the list...We work until all jobs are completed.  Same conversation about an hour later.

Finally, I get a call at 7:30 at night.  The tech tells me he just finished up, blah blah blah.  We go over what needs to be done.  2 to 3 hours of work.  Reconnect the dishwasher, disposal, and faucet, he quotes me a price of $640.

No thanks.  If they had been honest with me a the first phone call and told me it would be 11 hours before someone could get there, I would have made another call.  So, another weekend with no kitchen and I found a plumber to come out this morning (Monday) to do it all for $250.

Good luck if you choose to use this company.

BAIT AND SWITCH!  The plumber did show up in the window I was provided, and was very pleasant.  However, I had specifically called this company because they were running a $93 or it's free drain clearing special, and I needed my drain cleared.  When the plumber showed up he spent about an hour trying to tell me that it could be a backwards pipe in my line.  When he finally decided to 'snake' the line, he told me it would be $300 and the special did not apply because he needed to come in my house to run the snake through the Studor Vent under my kitchen sink (which screwed off), rather than an outside access.  I would understand an up-charge if he had to remove pipes or the access was complicated, but he ran it right through the screw off access.  After numerous calls over two weeks to talk to a supervisor, an office manager finally got back to me and told me that there was nothing she could do.

Did not show up to complete the project.  Called numerous times, no resolve. Unbelievable.  It is a shame as they were good until I paid them. Should have waited with the payment till project was completely done.

Cold water is leaking from a pipe that is attached to the cold water inlet on the top of my water heater. The guy immediately says it's the water heater.  He tells me that the water is getting too hot in the tank, and the excess pressure is escaping through the pressure relief valve, which also ties-in to the outlet pipe. I told him that I think he's wrong because the leaking water is totally cold. See, there is another pressure relief valve up there that is attached to the cold water inlet and is cold-water-line-pressure related. I believe that valve is bad. I want him to replace the valve. He thinks that's a possibility, but isn't sure. He shuts off the cold water inlet valve that feeds the water heater and asks me if that's the shut-off. Well, if I do a google search, which I did before calling them, this same valve appears in pretty much every google result I turn up: it shuts off the cold water to the tank. It's obvious. That valve is on the cold water pipe that feeds directly into the top of the water heater. The guy says he isn't sure that the water is shut off to the house. ???? HUH???? (he thinks he just shut the water off to my house???!!!) So, he turns on my hose to see if there's water pressure!!  Wha??? Of course there is pressure at the hose becuase he only turned off the water heater cold water inlet valve. I'm mouth agape at this point. I realize he's a charlatan, and tell him he's not doing the job, and send him on his way. Oh, and he wanted 149.00 to change that freakin' valve. I called the company and told them what happened. They were embarrassed and apologetic. But sorry, they sent this guy to me. DO NOT trust plumbers from this outfit. OMG. Clearly, they are hiring whoever shows up and not testing to see that they have the skills. Now, I have to set up another plumbing appt. Don't do it. You're forewarned.

My service tech was very nice, BUT... One look at my Kohler one piece toilet and he told me I would need a new toilet.  He was here to change the toilet seat!  I admit that this is a very difficult seat to change.  The bolts screw into the inside of the tank, but he never even tried to unscrew them. ALSO, the leak in one of my bathroom faucets would mean he would need to rebuild the entire faucet.  I paid the trip charge and sent him away!  Estimated cost $1,099.98 - $1,272.28.

Another plumber came, removed the toilet seat, ordered a new seat for me, fixed the faucet with no complications and never even considered replacing the toilet.

Seriously think twice and look around before calling Rainaldi!

Professional, prompt, efficient - what more could I ask for?  Guess I could always hope it was cheaper, but they charged a fair price.  My service tech was Jose Arroyo - he arrived promptly at the start of the 1 hour range I was given for expected appointment time.  He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained the cause, what the repair would entail & told me the cost.  Once we decided to move forward with the repair, he completed the task very efficiently.  Jose was extremely polite, put on shoe protectors in the house and was careful to clean up after the job.  I will use them in the future.

I would NOT ever recommend this company! I had 3 items that needed repair. Faucet had slow drip, he said he could not fix because he did not know the make so would have to replace$$$$Toilet just needed a new flap, quoted $149, could not give me break down of part and labor ?????? Needed new sump pump, $1250, again could not give breakdown of cost???? several years before we had it replaced for a fraction of this cost! I just payed the service fee and sent him on his way!

From the office staff to the plumber, great customer service! Someone was out quickly and took care of the problem fast. May not be the cheapest, but I appreciate the quick response and knowledge. They had the job fixed before I even got a call back from another plumber.

BEWARE!! this company is a SCAM! I paid $381.97 for a capacitor replacement. I later learned that this is a part that is no more than $20 (on Amazon)  to replace. The technician took no longer than 15 minutes to fix the problem.
He also pressured me to think about replacing the whole thing, which he estimated it at $6,500. This is a system that is practically new. I went to You Tube and the part is so easy to replace, I could have done it myself.
I contacted Rainali about the rip off and they just didn't give a damn.
They gave me some BS  excuses and a run  around to justify their scam.

Just to expand a little, I also was interested in replacing my toilet. Rainaldi offered a GREAT(?) deal on a $700 toilet(no seat), not including installation. I said uh, no thanks, went to Lowes and got a nice toilet for $140 and put it in myself. I'm getting too old for this so next time I will find a good journeyman plumber in bluejeans, a dirty t-shirt and an old pick-up truck........butt crack and all, to get a job done at a fair price!!!!

I have been using Rainaldi Home Services for at least five years.  We own two homes and the employees are always pleasant, personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and neat.  I have used them for everything from a leaky faucet to a complete re-pipe.  I've used the HVAC services and found the same level of professionalism.  And the best part...they are reasonably priced and stand behind their work!

They are getting a one star review because they did not deliver on what they said they were going to.

We had a leak happen Thursday night at about 9:00 pm. Once we had the water cleaned up. I filled out the information form online and was told I would be contacted shortly, I knew this probably meant the next morning.

They did reach out right at 8:00 am and said that since our water was off we would be put on the priority list and someone would be out as soon as possible.

At about 12:30pm I called back to get a update on if someone was going to be able to make it today, I was then told that there was no availability today and someone wouldn't be out until Monday. I explained I had been told this morning that a repairman would be able to make it. The lady I spoke to apologized for the miscommunication and said that someone had tried to reach out to me at 11:50 am but couldn't get a hold of me because the number was incorrect so I was taken off of the priority list.

I don't understand how the company was able to call me at 8:00am but then suddenly didn't have my number correct. The lady then put me back on the priority list and said someone would be out at some point today.

At 2:30pm I decided to call a second plumbing because I was getting nervous at this point I would be without water all weekend. They were able to send someone within the hour because as she explained, you have no water and still have a leak, that is first priority in our books. At 2:42pm I got a call that a technician was on the way, and he arrived at 3:05pm.

If the first person I spoke to said we are extremely busy it probably won't happen, I would have just reached out to different companies this morning rather than waiting around all day and not getting anything done.

I also did not appreciate when I called back to take myself off the priority list, the lady who answered the phone did not seem to care at all that I had been inconvenienced. It was not my fault the technician couldn't reach me the first time, I gave my phone number correctly and a back up phone number.

If I could give lower, I would do so.  They took me for a ride $$ wise - I mean a toilet installed for over $700.   I just bought one at Lowe's for $99, and the installation is $150.  The crazy part is that they have an A+ rating at the BBB with over half of the comments pathetic.  There are 13 comments with 6 comments abysmal.  How does that happen?   They may do other home services great, but my goodness, I feel cheated by this company.  I spoke with one of their reps and she asked what could be done to appease me, and I said give me back some of my money.  That was the last I heard.  Run, don't walk

I'm very happy with my experience with Rainaldi plumbing. I'd assumed my problem was with a defective standpipe, or some such very expensive thing. Turned out my meddling with the valve had already solved the problem. Jesse was super straightforward and didn't charge me a dollar for any services I didn't need.

They didn't make any extra dough on that visit due to the plumber's honesty, but they have earned a customer for life.

I'll say this: after talking on the phone I was expecting a run around, because they don't discuss prices over the phone. It's a $40 dispatch fee which is then used toward the cost of the repair. Of course when the time came there was no run around; not even a stroll around. Nope it was a straight up stand-in-place. Just what you want from a plumbing company.

Funny, I called originally because they had a five star rating, now it's three stars without any now reviews up. Huh, maybe it's different on mobile or some such.

We had them do our whole house re plumbed/ piped four years  ago.  A faucet broke and I wasn't sure if it was the faucet or the repipe job. They came out the same day and confirmed the problem. While Nick was here he checked a few other things. Great job!

***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY***
They completely took advantage of my elderly mother in law!!! They charged her over $2,000 to fix a leaking pipe and 2 days later it was leaking again. The technician (Tim Smith) who came to her home bold face lied to her saying that $2k was to cover everything, including repiping the whole house. Then I spoke with the manager, Adam Massa, who was unwilling to compensate her for the piss-poor job. THEY ARE A SCAM DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

My advice to anyone that is even remotely thinking of using these jokers , just beware!! Look at the reviews and it's the same pattern, same stories!! They over charge !! Bottom line!! I called them to come out for a slab leak repair!! They charged me $3,500 and kept pushing for $6,000 re-pipe of my house. I had 4 other plumbers come out and they came in with an estimate of $1,200 + less than Rainaldi.. that says a lot and looking at the reviews concludes my thinking that they definitely take advantage of people and over charge. Always shop around!!

Extremely up set with Rainaldi.  I called and made an appointment to have a kitchen faucet installed.  Appointment was for today at 2pm or thereafter arrival.  Instead, at 2:30 I receive a call about how busy they are and could I change the appt to the next day.  Remember, I have been waiting all day for them to come and had everything out from the cabinet underneath the sink.  Then at 2:30pm, after the appt time they are too busy.  They knew they were too busy when they scheduled my appt initially, but they did not want to lose the business and scheduled me, knowing they would cancel and it would be too late for me to reschedule with another company.  This happened with me once before and I forgot about it, but as soon as I heard her spiel about too busy and to reschedule, I remembered.  I immediately refused and called another plumbing company and they have someone on the way as I am typing. Rainaldi, do not keep me on your customer list or send any coupons to my address.

My complaint is probably not with the workmanship...only time will tell on that...my complaint is as landlord living in a different state trying to make sure my tenants have hot water on a cold day, I feel like I got screwed on pricing.  Their 'Set Fees' policy means I had to choose between $270 to perform a good diagnosis and fix the likely problem, but if the problem ended up needing the new water heater, I had to pay the $270 plus the $1,250 installation price (and they would not break up the invoice into labor and parts so I could tell how good a water heater I was getting).  Seems like a scam to make me pay $1,250 for a $700 water heater (found on google afterwards) that took 2 hours to install.  $550 labor for 2 hours.

Basically, I had to make sure my tenants had hot water and paid these yahoos way too much for a new water heater.

I would never recommend this company.  I bought their plumbing maintenance package and during the routine maintenance I asked the plumber to check a few leaking faucets. He did and said he would get back to me with info about replacing them. Seven weeks later and numerous phone calls to his supervisor Dale and I was finally told that the faucets were not able to be fixed.  At the same time my son came home from his summer session at college.  He used the shower for the first time since the plumber had been there.  The next morning there was a large water bubble in the ceiling below. I called Rainaldi and explained the leak and that they said they would have someone call me soon.  Not till six hours later did they call and it was only to explain that they couldn't fix the faucet!  I told them it was not about the faucet and that I had a leak which Dale claimed no one had told him about.  The next day they finally sent a plumber, after the water being shut off in the house for 24 hrs.  Their plumber Jeff,  quoted me $1200 to fix the valve in the wall.  I asked him to explain the charges, hourly, the equipment, etc.  He could not/would not.  I declined him fixing it.  I called Jeff's Plumbing and they sent someone who fixed the problem for $500 and it was not even the valve, even though I had him replace it anyway still for only $500 and during emergency after hour prices!  We had to figure that out by cutting into the wall !  In the end the problem that has cost me about $900 ($135 for Rainaldi estimate, $500 for Jeff's Plumbing and the rest to repair the ceiling and wall) is because the original Rainaldi plumber removed the plate on the shower to look at the valve cartridge to see what it needed to be replaced.  He never re-caulked the plate back and the first time the shower was used it leaked behind the plate into down into the wall, etc.  Through this Rainaldi has been less than helpful, evasive and outright dishonest. I would never want anyone to be shafted by this company !  Please beware!

can you give them no stars?
i had a leak in the wall. very small. it was a saturday. they said it was $88 to come to the house. but they never told me it was another $149 to look foir the leak. seriously they conveniently did not let me understand the cost.
so he opens the wall and sees the leak and then teells me it is $575 toi fux this pin hole leak. i asked him to oput a path with a coupling he said mopo he had to replace the pipe. i tiold him to leave. i was doing thsi over the phone while on vacation. he was at the condo a total of 15 minutes maybe.
they may have done a good jub but the reapir was not as extensive as they said and the $575 reapir i fixed with $3.00 of parts in 2 minutes.
these people are out of bounds.

So I will start off by saying that the customer service and our plumber was really nice....but we over paid on what we got. We paid 1500 for a basic water heater and then we kept having water in the drip pan afterwards. We then had to have them come out twice to check out the issue. We ended up having to add an expansion valve to our water heater to fix the problem. That was another 400 added to our 1500 water heater, so in a nut shell we over paid.

Bottom line is that the technicians need better management support structures to provide proper customer service AND if you need a tank-less water heater repaired, Rainalds will NOT provide you with a fast or economical solution.

I called Rainaldis back since they helped with a malfunction on my tank-less water heater a few months ago.  I was a little bit surprised that I paid over $250 for a relief valve, but the unit stopped overflowing water again and John was very professional.

This most recent time, our tankless water heater failed on 1/31/18. The first 2/1 appointment was cancelled without notification.  The second 2/2 appointment was moved to the third day on 2/3.  When John arrived, he acted very professional again, unfortunately he didn't do anything as I had already troubleshot the unit.  Furthermore, he clarified that he wasn't the best tech to be helping with a tankless unit.  Why after 3 days wasn't a tankless technician dispatched?

Finally, 6 days later Nick arrived to take a look at installing the Takagi TK4 unit we had finally purchased on our own to avoid a high markup.  Nick provided a few options, none of which included a same or next day repair.  Again, Nick acted politely, but only provided excuses for why he could not meet our request...why wasn't a plan or options conducted before they showed up?  Nick went on to share a labor rate for install of over $1700...as he agreed, for about a 4 hour job, which equates to over $400/hr!

As a result, my family waited 3 more days until I came home from traveling from work to repair myself.  After purchasing a few materials, I finished the job by myself in about 4 hours.

If you need it done right away and can afford it call Rainaldi's. The fault was their price and I called in Sunday to have a service call on Monday, but when I called at 2pm I wasn't even on the schedule. I was forgotten. They did send someone over, but after being without water for 3 days I was in a pickle. No time to shop around so I entrusted them with the flat rate quote. Why was I upset with the cost? Because I agreed to pay them 1500.00 for what took two guys 4 hours.

I had used them before and never felt like I had been taken advantage of, but this was ridiculous. I called the sales manager and he said he would review the invoice. He didn't make any adjustment. I also had a cracked commode in my bathroom and to replace it they quoted me 750.00. This time I wasn't over a barrel and got the whole toilet replaced and installed by Home Depot for 300.00. Needless to say I will not call Rainaldi's ever again.

DON'T CALL OR USE THESE GUYS!!
I'm in the Orlando area here in FL.
Andre showed up to fix repair my shower (no hot water). Initial estimate was $360 (yeah that's bad enough). He then informed me that if the valve was corroded, it would cost an additional $212!!
Well - Murphy's Law - there was corrosion.
Although the total job only took about 45 minutes, but the bill was well over $500!
This company is a ripoff! The A+ rating from BBB is an unfunny joke. While here, he provided an estimate to fix my toilet noise: another $300!
I declined that offer and had another plumber fix it for well under $100.
I wanted to give zero stars but it wouldn't let me.

Being a business owner myself, I understand the mechanics of service calls and in-field repairs. However, I do find the repair charge of $ 650 for a relatively minor repair in the wall to replace a 14 piece of 1/2 pipe that had a pin hole leak, a tad high, plus the fact the tech was only here about 1:15 !  Is there something here that I'm missing?

I bought a new place and need some faucets changed and toilets fixed. They charged me $2700 for it! They completed ripped me off. Will never work with this company or recommend to anybody. It is also sad to see that they take advantage of people who do not know anything about plumbing. Very sad to see there are companies who are living off of people's hard earned money. I would give them negative rating if Yelp allowed. Even the HVAC guy came in and charged $1000 for cleaning! How atrocious is that!!! I have never been ripped off like this in my life. I'm a Realtor and I often need to hire a variety of different service contractors for different things on behalf of a buyer or seller.   In this case I needed to have the polybutylene plumbing system inspected on behalf of my buyer's insurance company.  Rainaldi was recommended to me by another agent, so I called them yesterday and they set an appointment for this morning with the tech instructed to call me with 30 minutes advance notice.   So, I'm on standby all morning and no call.  No big deal, right.  They're probably busy and running a bit behind schedule.  Very common in the service industry.  I wait until 1:30 and call the office to make sure everything is ok and that I'm still on the schedule for today.  They verify that yes, I'm still on the schedule for this afternoon, but there's no way to give me a time.  No worries.  I understand that this is normal, so I sit by the phone all afternoon waiting for the tech to call.  Well, 4:45pm comes rolling around and still no call.  I call the office again and they say the tech called me at 4:30 and there was no answer, so they sent him to another call and I'll be next.  What!!!!  I've received calls all day with no problem whatsoever, but I somehow missed the one call I've been waiting on all day?!?!?!   I checked my phone and there was no missed call.   I repeat, no missed call.  Anyway, still not a big deal since the tech is still coming, so I verified they had my number down correctly and continued to wait on standby.  About 5:15 the tech calls and informs me that if he comes out now it will be considered an after hours service call and I will be charged overtime rates that's almost double what I was originally quoted.  Seriously?!?!?!   They are the ones who scheduled the call for this morning and after making me wait an entire day, they try to screw me over and charge me overtime rates because they couldn't make it before 5:00?!?!?!   I am completely stunned that this company would behave in such a incompetent, unprofessional and unethical manner without even batting an eye, especially to a Realtor who has the potential to bring them thousands of dollars in future business and referrals.   I suppose I should consider myself lucky because if this how they treat their customers, I'm scared to think what might have happened had they actually performed any service work at my clients house.

They initially did a great job replacing our a/c. It's working great and we love it. We had used them for a short-term repair prior to the new a/c and really liked the repairman.
However, when it came time to have the a/c inspected by the county, we had been told they were coming in the am, called to see if they could shoot for pm, and were then told they weren't coming for inspection that morning, but they would be there in the pm to check on the unit. I get home from running errands at 10am to a note from the orange county inspector telling us we weren't there when they got there. There's a serious disconnect in communication through the office.
We've tried contacting them with questions and even if you leave a number and ask them to call that number, they always call the number originally on file which is ridiculously frustrating.
Today, I got a call saying they would be by in 45 minutes for our 6 month follow-up inspection----which was NEVER scheduled. I told them they will not be stopping by until they schedule in advance. Again, communication needs significant improvement.

Do NOT hire this company.  I called on a Monday to schedule an appointment for the following Wednesday, and explained the whole history of the complex HVAC issue in my house and the terrible luck and results I'd had with previous HVAC companies.  They asked me what time I preferred and I said morning, so that's what they put me down for.  I waited all day at my house (where I can't even live because of the issue) and they never showed up.  I called in the afternoon and they said it'd be another hour but that technician would call first.  After two hours I called back and by this time it was the after hours answering service who treated it like a new service request.  And to add insult to injury, THAT technician never showed up or called either.

First time using them. I had a great experience. Cole was very professional and explained the issue clearly so I could make an educated decision. I called around noon and by 2 pm they Cole had already arrived. He went the extra mile to fix the problem. Highly recommended. Will use them

Inconsistent pricing!  Called them to install a garbage disposal since they had competitive pricing on my replumb two years ago )which they completed the work). They quoted a price 25% higher than a previous plumber.  I at least expected in the same ballpark.  Short sited on their part as I won't  ask for another quote and won't recommend for work.

Rainaldi and Shawn are extremely unprofessional and not trustworthy in their business practice. I called about a plumbing job around 2 pm. This was a rather simple request... I asked if they had a garbage disposal, they said yes. I asked if you're sure, they said yes. (This isn't difficult to follow yet, is it?)

So after getting a confirmation, they said they could be at my residence within an hour or so. Great! So I rushed home as we need to get this thing installed. After waiting and waiting... I get a call back (Way after the initial time we were told they would be here) and Sh**n stated that he didn't have one all of a sudden and this wasn't important enough to do tonight. And... that they would get here tomorrow?! Are you kidding me?!

So now I have to pay another plumber to come out (after hours rates) because this joke of a company can't provide a service that they claim they do. And IF you didn't have a garbage disposal, how hard is it to go by Home Depot? Lowes? Ace? and pick one up?

Horrible service... and for a 24 hour company? Wouldn't trust them.

You are looking for RINALDI not this RAINALDI

I've never worked with a worse contractor. Even management agreed we were charged too much and refused to work it out.

Advertised a $39 diagnosis of broken water heater. Technician arrived and spent 1 hour on site then told us we needed to order a new heating element. Next thing we know, my mom is charged $424. That's an over 900% price hike from what's advertised with no notice of price increase which is actually illegal in the state of Florida.

Not only did the technician not do anything other than inspect, but he left the currently installed heating elements loose causing a pressure leak in the garage.

A month ago, I spoke to Dale and he agreed it was a bad situation and the charge was too much but has since avoided our calls and emails while refusing to refund any amount.

Thank God I recorded all the calls with these people and have security video of the tech in the house to use in small claims court. Avoid at all costs!

While no one loves to pay for repairs,  the teams of people dispatched to our home could not have been more professional.
Over the past 4 days we have had several companies here and on our roof.  The information from the 1st company did not add up.  When the guys came from Rainaldi they gave us hope.  Once they completed a clean out and then did camera work - the proof was in the film.
From start to finish --- the guys who did the clean out, to Greg with the great camerawork, to the 3 men who came to do the piping install and flush all the lines today, they were all professional, helpful and honest.
We learned a lot the past few days.  If someone doesn't appear to be truthful and doesn't look you in the eye - move on.  Grateful we moved onto Rainaldi.
Very thankful these men shared their experiences and knowledge with us.  Now my husband and I have a better grasp at what goes on down there!

ALSO!!!!  We were extremely pleased to see trade training going on with younger men (and maybe women).  It was clear that Rainaldi takes this training program seriously.  I witness men spending real time and patience sharing their knowledge.  Beautiful to witness.  THANKS TEAM RAINALDI

Stay away from Rainaldi! They will break your AC and not return to fix it. They didn't show up for our first two appointments because they were too busy. Our AC was working fine before they came but wasn't as efficient as it should have been. They charged us $300 to replace a part that costs under $50, but I figured it was worth it for the time they put in. Worst mistake I could have made. 5 hours later our AC which had been working since we got it new 4 years ago was completely broken. Called them back for emergency service and got blown off twice by the customer service people. Once a technician finally did call, about 5 hours later, he said he would arrive within the hour but never showed up. Next day, pretty much getting the same results.

**Please read this before they talk you into purchasing a maintenance plan or before using their services at all for that matter**

I have the annual maintenance plan that includes 2 free yearly maintenance checks on the A/C. My first appointment, yes I said FIRST, was scheduled about a week in advance, the day before it was scheduled I received a call from Wendy asking if there was any way I was able to reschedule as they add an influx of emergency calls. I informed Wendy I would check if my mother, who was taking time out to be at the appointment as I could not have time off work, would be able to reschedule but if she was not, I would need to keep the original appointment. She assured me if I wasn't able to reschedule I could keep my appointment.

The next morning, Wendy called about 20 minutes prior to my appointment window asking if I had been able to reschedule. I informed her that no, we were not able to reschedule and would need to keep the original appointment. She replied with Ok I will see if there are any servicemen in the area to come out. Interesting because, shouldn't there have been someone on the way because I had NOT cancelled the appointment the day before? Wendy called again, 5 MINUTES BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT WINDOW to tell me there was no one available to come out. IF THERE WASN'T ANYONE AVAILABLE WHY WOULDN'T YOU HAVE CANCELLED THE APPOINTMENT YESTERDAY SO WE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO CARVE OUT TIME TO WAIT FOR THE SERVICEMAN THAT WAS NEVER GOING TO SHOW UP. Needless to say I was disappointed and confused at the misleading communication from Wendy. We reschedule for 2 weeks later.

FAST FORWARD 2 WEEKS.  I again, asked my mother to set aside time to be present for the appointment while I was at work. The window was set for 8-10am. I received no call about a cancellation so I figured everything was good to go. WRONG! My mother called to confirm at 9am and they said someone would be out. FALSE!!!! NO ONE SHOWED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it wasn't bad enough that our time was wasted after the FIRST appointment fiasco, they did not even attempt to redeem themselves and correct their mistake and try to show good customer service the SECOND time.

This was an absolutely horrible experience. I felt very mislead by customer service and very dismissed by the company in general. I will not be using their services any longer after this experience. And judging by other reviews, mine is not an isolated incident.

Could not appropriately handle scheduling a home visit for an estimate.  Rescheduled once when the wrong phone number was used to announce the ETA.  Rescheduled to one of my days off.  Called to check when it got late.  Was told 1) that I had been called that morning, which was not true; and 2) that they were short-handed and only making emergency calls that day.  Might have been okay but for the lie that I had been called.  My phone showed no missed calls and no voicemail was left.  I wasted precious off time for nothing.

Never turned up!  Set up an appointment 2 days in advance to arrive in the afternoon to repair our tankless water heater.  We waited from noon to 5 pm, then called.  Said we were next on the list.  By 8:30 pm no one had arrived. We called again and cancelled.   Got an apology but no explanation. I understand that scheduling is difficult but communication is not! There are plenty of other plumbers.

Do NOT use for Polly pipe replacement unless you want to pay way too much money to be lied to and have to deal with all the people these guys run over in their attempts to do a good job. Took a VERY long time to get done due to their many many mistakes and lies. Worst 6000 (5900- pictured) I've ever spent. I knew this was higher than most plumbers but these guys claimed (falsely) to be the Best.

#1: Told me that they would correspond with HOA to make sure everything is not a violation. Left the pictured pipe showing and took additional time to resolve this after I got a call from the HOA. They had to go through the downstairs tenants apartment to resolve and claimed they would fix drywall quickly.

#2. After getting the HOA happy, I got a call from the downstairs tenant mad that the drywall was left un-repaired (PICTURED) for too lengthy of a time. I was confused as to why this would be until Rainaldis support rep let it slip that they had FAILED THE INSPECTION. This was kept secret from me and I was left wondering why in the world it was taking so long. Of course - it was because of incompetence.
FAILED INSPECTION PICTURED.

#3. Lastly, when I think this nightmare is all finally over, I get a call from the electrician saying that Rainaldi left my front door WIDE OPEN. This was just the cherry on top of the incompetence sundae.

TLDR: A failed $6000 mistake. Took three times longer than they said it would. Dangerously gross incompetence. Do NOT make the same EXPENSIVE mistake I made.
I truly believe I spent more time talking to people trying to resolve these guys mistakes then they themselves did. A horrific waste of time and money.

Rainaldi took advantage of my 95 year old neighbor.  Charged her over $600 to replace a 28 inch section of pipe in her attic due to a rat chewing. (two other plumbing companies said it was about a $125 repair) A couple of days later there was another leak discovered by the dry out people.  She called them again and They wanted to charge her another $600 plus to fix it. I sent him on his way and I called Best Plumbing and they did the repair for $118.  BEWARE of Rainaldi, their plumber said it doesn't matter if they are there 5 minutes or 5 hours the charge is the same.  They also referred her to Falcon Pest Control who charged her over $900 to trap and seal her attic. . I also asked if they would credit her toward a replumb.  The answer by the plumber who was there was NO. Shame on them for taking advantage of a confused senior.

Beware of this company!  We have used Rainaldi before for plumbing issues for our rental properties and they were reasonable up until today.  We called for a toilet repair issue for one of our units, and they ended up quoting a price for a new toilet for approximately $1,030 dollars. After talking to the service technician, the toilet only needed the universal fill and flapper kit and the bill they quoted for this simple repair was $336.  Needless to say, we hired another plumber for much less and will not be using Rainaldi on any more of our future rental units.  By the way, the Fluidmaster universal fill valve and flapper toilet kit for this repair job can be purchased at Lowes for under $20. Rainaldi Home Services lost a valuable customer today by price gouging us.

Charged $380 to put in a $20 capacitor.

Just wrong. I will never use them again.

I had a small leak under my toilet. I called Rainaldi but I meant to call Rinaldi. No wonder I've been charged double for a wax ring and a flange. They charge me $1100 when I've done the job myself and it cost me 20 bucks. I have been calling them since they double charged me for a pull and reset and I've owed a credit of a $450 only to get the runaround for three days that they need to contact their technician. I don't know any business that can't contact one of their technicians the same day to find out why such a horrible mistake was made. This is outrageous and I can't believe that I called the wrong company it won't happen again. Of course I question the technician when he was there asking why I was being charged so much and he said it was because I needed a wax ring and the flange. Of course I need a new wax ring you remove the flange and the wax ring is gone it's not a double pull and reset. He was rude and now I still have to have them come back out because the toilet is rocking it wasn't even reset properly. Customer service is poor and they try to sell you a package for service when they're there the whole thing was just a joke

Rainaldi's website states they pride themselves on service however when I made an appointment with the dispatchers, a plumber never came to my home.  Since it wasn't a terrible emergency I phoned them later that day and again the next day.  All I received with each call was We are so sorry, this does not represent our service standards.  3 days went by and so I gave my business and money to another company with higher standards of service.  I called Rainaldi's back to speak with a manager to share my experience in the hopes someone else wouldn't suffer the same treatment I had and to my surprise the managers do not even call you back!  Atrocious service.  I would not recommend this company to family or friends.

Not a very ethical business in my opinion.  I needed standard under sink disposal replaced at my home.  Called Rainaldi to ask for an estimate.  Woman on phone would not give me a price for the job, told me $39 to come check it out and the $39 credited to job price.  Tech Nick (nice guy) quickly gives me price options.  It's $475 to replace with same Badger 5 unit I currently have.  Having checked prices on-line, I know I can buy that Badger 5 for $100 at Home Depot.  So, it's $375 in labor for maybe a 45 minute job.  I decline service and pay the $39.  I call another known plumbing service.  They give me a firm price of $295 to replace and install Badger 5 disposal.  Almost $200 less!!!  That's real money.  I don't appreciate the baiting a customer by not giving a price over the phone.  Would have never wasted my $39 if they told me job was almost $500.

We had our kitchen countertops replaced so all we needed was a reconnect of the faucet, dishwasher, and disposal.  I called and made an afternoon appointment 2 weeks in advance.  When no one was there by 4:30 on the day of the appointment I called. I was assured by Therese, that they finish all calls for each day, and he would be there soon.  She said she would call dispatch and call me back.  She never did.  When I called back they were closed, so I talked to Alvin, the night dispatcher who said I wasn't on the schedule.  Jose called me back and promised someone would call at 8am the next day to confirm that a tech would be here at 9am.  Alvin called back and told me the same thing.

The next day, no phone call at 8, no tech at 9.  I called and they said he's on his way.  Luis showed up at 10:30 and proceeded to try to sell us a new faucet, ours was a year old and a new disposal, ours was 2 years old.  When we asked why, he said because they're used so he can't guarantee them.

He also told us we need a sewer flusher for our drain line and they could have someone come out.  My husband took a flashlight and looked in there and said it was minimal.  Luis then said some Draino would do the trick.

Luis then told us it would be $1200 to reconnect our plumbing.  They are a flat rate company so it's a set price.  We asked for a breakdown, but because it's a flat rate there is no breakdown.  We were desperate to have our kitchen back at this point so we paid.

This place tries to sell you things you don't need, and their flat rate system is a license to steal!!

DO NOT CALL THEM!!

I used them to install a new a/c unit within a year(still under warranty) unit was not blowing cold. I called up Rainaldi to have them come back and check unit. Tech arrived walked around house for 10 minutes. Looked at unit then told me my coils were dirty. And it would cost me $1,600.00 to clean the coils. I clean my system and wash the coils & change my filter religiously every month. I am an A/C supervisor . The unit was under warranty that's why I called them back. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS   THEY'LL RIP YOU OFF.  I'll never call them again.

I had Rainaldi Plumbing do my home repipe and main line repipe a month ago.
Their office staff were very friendly and helpful.  I almost never had to wait on hold and if I did, they called me right back instead.
Their plumbing staff finished my entire home and main line to the house in one day.  They were very friendly and worked their butts off.
Their estimate was the lowest I could find in town.  They also contract with a drywall company to patch the holes after they are done.
They offer financing as well through GE Money Bank.
Note:  They are not an irrigation company so you have to get your irrigation back online via another company.

My only nit pick was:
I was unaware that the patching of the holes was contracted out.  I didn't find out until the day of the re-plumb.  I had to call the drywall company up and schedule the patchwork to be done the day after.

Purchased a home that rainaldi did the new hvac and ac install in 2016.  Two weeks after moving in the ac stops working. Rainaldi came out and determined it was a bad motor which was under warranty.  Charged us $79 for the diagnostics but couldn't get the part until next day.  They explained to us that labor would be around $860 to install the motor it had to get it next day from carrier.  The next day the guy shows up with the part and has it installed and running in about an hour.  What would have a been a very positive review is highly overshadowed by the $866.90 charge for labor on top of the already $79 charge to come out.  When we agreed to the cost we had not idea the fix would take under an hour.  That rate I was told was a flat rate and would have been the same whether he was there 1 hour or 6.   What a rip off.  Please be careful I feel scammed. I don't mind paying what is reasonable but I don't know many people in any profession who make $866.90 an hour.

I have used them before for previous plumbing jobs since they had been the company that replumbed  my home before I bought it. I always thought they were overpriced. The last job they did the plumber did not attach my appliance correctly. I called them to complain and was told that they would adjust the fee with the next service call with a new appliance. Well that was untrue. I called them to do a simple install for a toilet. Bought everything for the install. The toilet was approximately $ 179. Dollars they came and including the 39.00 service fee we're going to charge me $511.00 dollars! I balked at the price.  Called their office to ask why something so small would cost that much and they didn't think anything of it?! An enormously overrated charge. No breakdown of why the costs were that elevated, nothing. I gave them my credit card info as I just needed to get the toilet in, but then after a few minutes realized how ridiculous it was to pay twice the cost of the actual toilet for it to be installed . I then immediately called back to tell them I did not want to proceed and to credit back the charges. This all occurred within 5 minutes they still haven't credited my account back. I told the plumber that I changed my mind. He later called to ask why I did work with them before and then changed my mind this time. I told them basically it was the ridiculous cost. He said his supervisor told him to ask what I thought I should pay for it ?! Certainly not $511.00 ! More like 100-200 maximum. What a racket!! Overpriced and unreasonable do not use them! I wish I read the reviews before I did any business with them. My Bad! I just want my credit card charges reversed ASAP. Do yourself a favor seek plumbing services elsewhere! I found a plumber by the way that is going to do the install for $125.00. This company is a total ripoff.

Excellent customer service!! They are NOT the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Awesome experiences for over 3 years of numerous calls to them. I highly recommend them.

Your in for a rude awakening. They r in competition with Cool Plumbing. They will look for more problems, than even existed. Better off looking for smaller companies. Rinaldi empire was sold off to highest bidder, I know, because the empire lives inside if Alaqua. Seminole County. The new owner, are now in cohotes with Damage Control. Be aware. Be very aware.

They came and redid both bathrooms and replaced my rotted cast iron pipes for half the quote I received with ACE. Then, we used a contractor that Hunter referred us that redid both bathrooms for 12k. It was such an amazing experience under a stressful situation.  They even gave me an outdoor hot water shower... they we use more of now. Lol

Don't waste your time calling these guys if you have a motorhome. I wanted a simple reseal of the sink drain done to fix a small drip and they said we can't do that because we don't have the necessary parts.  The sink is the same size as in a stick house.  I think the job was too small to fool with.

Pipe sprang a leak at the house. I called them and they sent a plumber out rather quickly and he found one leak and repaired it. He advised me we had a second leak but he couldn't find it and suggested that I set up an appointment for leak detection so they could finish the job. I called them right then and there and setup an appointment for the next day, being told by the young lady on the phone that they would be here between 9-12 noon and gave her my number for the tech to contact me. 3 pm and no one here. I called them and they say they don't give time frames and the girl messed up. I wasted an entire day, $600.00 for the initial call and lost wages for the day waiting on them. Poor training and communication there. The rep that answered my call was apologetic but that didn't solve my problem of 2 days no water and no end in sight with these folks.  Don't use them. If you can, find someone else to repair your problems.

I was in need of a plumber, fast.  The provider arranged through my home warranty never showed.  I contacted Rainaldi & in a matter of 3 hours from my first call; my home plumbing is operational again.  Eric was courteous, reassuring & professional.   Thank you, Rainaldi for exceptional service at this stressful time

Air conditioning went out on a holiday weekend. Rainaldi had a tech at my house within four hours and AC was back up and running in no time! Very friendly and knowledgeable tech. Service is a bit pricey, but it was worth it to get the AC back!

I must say that losing your air conditioning in 90 degree weather is no joke, but thank goodness Rainaldi Home Svcs was around to take the job. Their professionalism and genuine care was evident right from the start during the call for service and all throughout the task at hand. The icing on the air conditioner (pun intended) was Service Tech Luis E who patiently and professionally explained the procedure prior to starting and the possible hiccups if any, easing the situation greatly. I recommend them highly.

After several calls we were able to schedule a service request for a broken thermostat.  Our AC was working fine without the thermostat up to the time of service.  They never mentioned if the part was available or not nor what the cost would be.  Day of install, they finally call with a quote for almost $2000.00!!  They then come out to install and the new thermostat is defective.  The service repair tech left telling us it would be a day or two.  He did not tell us that our AC was now not working.  I called the Rainaldi asking to speak to a supervisor about this.  She said she would call right back.  Next day still no call and still no air conditioning.  We are worse off by calling this company.  Would and will never recommend them to anyone.

Do not give them your credit card! I was charged for a service I did not receive. I had used them in the past, and I guess they had my card on file.

Called at 1pm on Tuesday and Wendy told me no one was available to come out to look at my toilet so she put me on the schedule for Wednesday. Around 12p on Wednesday, had not heard from them so I called to make sure I'm still on the list and she assured me that I was still on the schedule. Finally get a call at 4:30 pm that I missed because I couldn't get to the phone and the message said to call back, not that  technician was available but no urgency to call back. Finally called back and fortunately for Wendy she wasn't there so the after hours guy told me I wasn't even on the list anymore. He was able to see that I was dropped because I didn't call back in time. So in order not to inconvenience them, we need to pick up their 1 attempt to call us and not even the urgency to call back. We cannot inconvenience them in any capacity. Called Roto-Rooter after this at 5:30 and they said they'd have a technician out before 10pm same day. Never again will I call Rainaldi and Wendy for their service. Sad...I like supporting local business but not when I'm jerked around like this. Good luck if you choose Rainaldi.

On July 25th 2018 I've called and set up an appointment with Rainaldi to come to my house and replace my Kitchen Sink Garbage Disposal.
Pillar was very proactive and told me that they could send someone next morning and the visit costs $ 39.00 and it would be waived if I hired their services.
Ok so about 11:00 AM July 26, a technician arrived at my place, he simply presented himself and walked into my kitchen and saw that the Garbage Disposer was broken and needed replacement and presented me with the following options.
$460.00 to replace my garbage disposer with one of the same characteristics as mine.
$650.00 to replace with one twice as powerful as mine.
As I did my due diligence before he arrived I knew that the replacement to my unit cost $98.00 and the service at Lowes and Home depot cost from $120.00 to $140.00 witch would be around $240.00.
At the end I've just bought the $98.00 replacement for mine and replaced it myself, not hard at all, check the videos on youtube, it took me about 30 minutes and saved me a lot.
So, guys, don't be fooled by the vans and the uniforms, they will rip you off if you let them. I had to pay my $39.00 for the visit, he should have bought at least a cupcake for this money.

They got the job done, but the price was ridiculous. $280 to patch a leak, which took less than 30 minutes of their time. Plus $90 because the service was after-hours. They asked for the money before starting the work---very unprofessional. Definitely not doing business with them again.

Huge props to Brandon McKinney who fixed our A/C this afternoon and then came back later that night to address a plumbing issue and ensure we wouldn't have this problem again.

Great service -- thanks again and stay cool, Brandon!

This would have zero stars if it were an option! Buyer be ware!
The first service we encountered with them was a year and a half ago.
There was a leak in the ceiling from the bathroom on the second floor.
The first floor ceiling was opened for easy access to do the work. All it needed was installing a 1/2 elbow. That was all!
(BTW They will not fix any drywall work after they are done!)
It cost us $380.-!!!
After all that it continued to leak and create mold in the ceiling!
We contacted them again to take a look at it and again they wanted to charge us $211.- just to come and look at the problem they never fixed, and charge us what ever to to do the work to rectify it!

Our AC died five years ago and they were the ones we called to fix it. We got a new unit then signed up for the maintenance plan with them. After a few years, the contact stopped and they didn't even notify us it ended. Sadly, in our error, we didn't realize. We started having issues again this summer and called them. They couldn't put us back on the plan for two more months but in between that time the AC died again. Their emergency person came then had to come again, leading to over $500 to tell us it's broken. The quote to fix it was $3800! We called another place and got it repaired for $900. This company is PRICE GOUGING and doesn't care at all about their customers. They should have been able to fit us in within two months and not lead to us being without AC in the summer in FL! Plus, they didn't fix it right to last five years ago (long story). Then, we called to tell them what has transpired and they don't even call us back. DO NOT USE THEM.

Terrible experience.  Called them to fix the A/C as an emergency service.  The tech cane out and allegedly fixed it.  They charged around $700 for the emergency service and left.  After 15 min and realizing the air was still not cooling, I called them back but the tech told me I would have to wait until he finished with the next customer before he could return to our house.  Extremely unprofessional and they lack the knowledge and skill to do their job.

I called Rainaldi Home Services to have my A/C checked and repaired. I mentioned that I was military and I was told to just mention that to the service repair person when he comes out and he/she will apply a discount. The person who came out to perform the repair was prompt. He identified the reason the A/C was not working and had the replacement part on hand (capacitor) to finish the job. Overall, a  decent experience except for the price I thought was a little bit steep and the fact the service repair person said they did not do military discount; I felt a little deceived. Also, I noticed after the repair person left, did not put in the outdoor compressor panel screws back in, and left the outdoor fuse box panel door wide open. A good thing I make it a habit to check behind people that perform work for me, or else the next major rain storm could have caused electrical shortages.

I have a leaky faucet and wanted drains replaced because they were damaged.  Rainaldi  plumbing came to my home  - took pictures - said they would order parts - never heard from them.  Weeks later I followed up and was told that I had to provide the parts.    Like I am a plumber and know what to buy...   Poor poor customer service.  There are plenty of other plumbing businesses in the area to give my money to.  I wont recommend them.

Due to a leak in my 50 year old pipes, I needed my house repiped. They were the best price that included fixing the walls after work was done. The workers were thoughtful of our situation and had the piping done in a day.

Rainaldi Home Services sent a technician (Eric H.) out within 24 hours after I called them. Eric was able to clear a hard clog in the bathroom sink's p-trap in less than 10 mins. Eric was personable, professional, and verified there were no leaks after clearing and re-attaching the p-trap.

Thanks Rainaldi!

I was experiencing a problem with my plumbing and found Rainaldi plumbing website online. Their plumber came to my residence and stated the problem was a main line backed up and he fixed the problem. He charged me $388 for the service, which was exorbitant. The next week the problem still existed and his supervisor came out and checked my clean out with his camera and said my pipe had burst. He gave me a estimate cost of $3,094, to do the repair, without attempting to unclog it. I decided to get a second opinion from a plumbing company, that my neighbor recommended to me. I was advised by the recommended plumber, that the pipe does not need repairing. The plumber unclog the main pipe that Rainaldi said had burst, which was a lie, If there is a need for a plumber, please do not call this company, they are overpriced and can not be trusted.
