We offer upfront pricing and our repairs and installation are backed by a 1 year part and labor warranty.

HISTORY

Established in 2021.
Merit Plumbing was formed in June 2021. Our goal is to provide excellent and convenient customer service. We have a passion for the plumbing industry and customer service. Our business was formed with the goal of elevating the plumbing profession. We aim to be a business that moves the industry forward by adopting new technologies that make for a better and more convenient experience for both our customers and employees. By offering electronic invoices/records, convenient scheduling with phone, text, and online booking capabilities. We also look forward to training the next generation of plumbers and encouraging young people to pursue a career in the trades. Merit Plumbing believes that clean water is a right. It is our goal that as the business grows we will be able to donate 5% of our profits to groups like the Navajo Water Project. Please join us and make a donation to the Navajo Water Project.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

JJ came to Florida from Toronto Ontario Canada in 2004. He came here with a Canadian company on a project for Sarasota County relining municipal sewer systems. The company set up a division in Florida shortly after. JJ was a key member of Florida operations and remained in that roll until 2012.

After having kids JJ decided that having a job that frequently required travel and being away from home for extended periods of time was no longer desirable. He left work with the lining company and began work for a residential service plumber in Sarasota. Shortly after starting with his new employer he enrolled in and completed a four year plumbing apprenticeship. Immediately upon completing his apprenticeship he began studying for and acquired his master plumber license.

In 2021 he founded Merit Plumbing with the goal of providing excellent and convenient customer service.

JJ Donaldson of Expert Plumbing Solutions repaired our toilet which kept clogging, flushed our water heater. checked all faucets/toilets for leaks.

JJ is the best!! I texted him toilet was running, needed adjustment and that I had company in the house.
6pm in evening. 1/2 hour later JJ was here and made adjustment!! He is so kind and responsible!! You can't find better... Stay away from those big group plumbers... Go local... Go JJ and Merit Plumbing!!

JJ Did a great job, installed a new sink with plumbing in the Laundry room, installed a new faucet in the kitchen, and best of all installed a hot water return / circulating pump so we have hot water fast even at the furthest location from the hot water heater_ I highly recommend these circulating pumps. JJ is on time, responsive, trustworthy, and has great pricing.

JJ installed a new water heater, ran a new water line to the fridge, installed new faucets and repaired toilets. His work was professional, the costs were reasonable, he arrived on time and finished on time. It was a great experience overall, and I would not hesitate to use Merit Plumbing for all future plumbing needs!

I thought we had a water pressure problem, but we didn't. JJ came out and explained everything. The water pressure problem was really getting to be pretty significant on a daily basis. JJ was so knowledgeable and helpful. I would call him again for anything without hesitation.
