Max Solon Plumbing

I had a huge leak and drainage issues in my 1950's home. MSP solved the issue promptly and spent days troubleshooting the draining issue which involved re-plumbing the drainage pipes. They got everything up and running and were prompt, communicative so I didn't worry and effective so I could get back to work. Pepe came to the rescue and he is a hard worker, I knew I was in good hands. If you're reading this review, trust me you found the right plumbers to get the job done!

I had a great experience with Max Solon Plumbing. I called concerning a potential leak behind one of the cupboards in my new kitchen. Max was very communicative and sent someone within 2 days. Ian arrived on time and was extremely professional. He checked the cupboard and didn't really want to cut through it, so instead he checked the shower (which directly behind that cupboard) and did notice an actual leak that required him to cut through the cupboard. He did not leave until the leak was fixed (he ended up finding 2). He explained everything he was doing and he cleaned after himself. I am extremely pleased. They will surely be my to go to next time.

Max and his team are true professionals. They are prompt, do work the right way, and are completely trustworthy. I have no problem letting his guys come and go if I have to run errands or goto work. This is our second home, which he has repiped, replaced our water heater, and fixed a sewage line. He also worked on our last home replacing old galvanized piping. 5 stars all day! Great business and great team. I will never use anyone else!

I called that day and had two guys out the same day. From the beginning to the end they were very pleasant and always had a smile. They knew what they were doing and did not waste time getting it done correctly in a reasonable time as well as price goes , outstanding compared to others. While working they kept area clean and when they left areas was clean. Would recommend them to anyone who wants honest service.

30 minutes and they were done, we had no hot water for a couple of days, they came in and took care of it right away. they are fast, efficient, and pleasant.

I had a soft spot in my ceiling right bellow my upstairs guest bathroom. I found this company through Nextdoor app. The guys came out on time, showed me the problem, gave a quote, fixed it and cleaned up. Kudos to Tyler and Joe, they were  professional, courteous and kind. Will definitely use again !!

My toilet was backup for a week waiting for my home insurance company to send a good plumber (I fired them after this incident​).  They sent the same incompetent​ one twice who couldn't and wouldn't fix the problem. Now desperate​ to get the toilet fixed I then called another plumber I used before.  Unfortunately,​ he was busy that day so he referred me to Max Solon Plumbing' and I'm very happy he did. Max Solon Plumbing sent Matt over the​ ​ same afternoon and within 30 minutes all was resolved and at a reasonable cost.  Matt was superb and I assure you Max Solon Plumbing has me for a customer as long as I'm above ground and  live in St Petersburg area.  Thank you Max & Matt.

Max was a pleasure to work with and came right away for my emergency. He showed on time the next day to finish the job. They worked very fast and cleaned up everything. I am extremely pleased of his efficiency and reliability and highly recommend his services....

Max and his team are reliable, punctual, reasonably priced and communicative throughout whatever repair needs to be made. They give you up front quotes and deliver results as expectations dictate, no matter the problem. We've used them for everything from clogs, to major pipe replacement, and I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for plumbing repairs both in my house, and in the rental property I manage. I've referred them to multiple friends, who've been equally impressed!

These guys are awesome!  They are fast, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced.  They have helped us with several issues in our newly purchased home and have always been upfront and honest.

Water Heater Installation
Max Solon Plumbing was recommended by our realtor and did not fail to meet our expectations. The owner and the installers were very professional and customer-oriented, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. I will call on Max Solon for all of my future plumbing needs.

A friend recommended Max Solon plumbing to me after they found him to be very honest and helpful. I called and he requested pictures of the concerns I had in my home. I sent them via text and had an estimate within an hour. When I excepted the estimate proposed, we made an appointment and two days later my problems were fixed. The two guys that came out were very friendly and professional. They were there for four hours, fixed all of my problems and I paid what I was quoted. I highly recommend this Plumber.

Thank you so much to Tyler coming to my rescue today on such short notice!  I had a leak develop spraying water under my kitchen sink. Turning the water valve off didn't stop it.  Tyler had the leak fixed soon after he arrived! He was very efficient, tidy and nice.  He explained things that made it easy for me to understand what was going on!

Charged me almost double the quoted price and took three days to finish, never again.
To correct, the additional charge was $70 more or a little more than a 50 % increase. The visit was from two men, and only one was necessary..the work was done well but some parts were unnecessarily replaced.

Love Max Solon Plumbing! They are timely and communicate - AMEN. They even text you when they are on the way over. Really appreciate the communication. They also are reasonably priced and do great work. Tyler was awesome. Highly recommend.

I have used Max Solon plumbing for several years now and as stressful as situations can get when it comes to plumbing his team is always there. Each of Max's associates are very professional, friendly, and efficient.

Wasted over a week of my time stating they were competent to install a recirculation pump. After waiting for the installation and turning down other plumbers with Todd's convincing me that he purchased the exact OEM parts to solve my issue, his plumber IAN started the install. I came back out 30 minutes later and he told me it wasn't the right part and they didn't know what they were doing and that my unit could not handle a pump. Why did you wait over a week then to tell me you had no idea what you were doing? Ridiculous waste of time for incompetence.

As a referral, Max Solon Plumbing performed an inspection on the plumbing in a house I wanted to purchase. Because of what was found, I was comfortable asking for a credit at the time of closing. I then had Max Solon back out to replace the original Orangeburg sewer line as well as the galvanized incoming water line. While the work required a fairly large trench be dug in the backyard, the work went quickly and well. The main technician, Justin, was professional and polite. I also had the toilet replaced with a better model. Justin did a great job with the installation. I would recommend Max Solon Plumbing to others.

Poor Workmanship and high price behind a friendly face. 
  
The one star is simply for being Friendly and responsive, I'll give them that. The issue with Max Solon and co. are High Price, Poor Quality of work and, frankly, the jobs are not done right. 
I had them install a water softener in my condo, within 3 months, had to call due to a leak coming from it. The connections were so poorly done, that it leaked down to my downstairs neighbor. 
Within the 3 months, I used Max to repair one of my tenants sink. This should have been a pretty basic job, a leak under the kitchen sink...He called saying that the garbage disposal had a crack....ok I'll trust him. $330 and a week later I find out from my tenant that the Garbage disposal was NOT the problem, and in fact the leak was still there and the faucet was now spraying all over the place. When I called Max about it, he wanted to charge me another $300 to replace the kitchen faucet....Really!?  
Obviously I called another plumber and the new plumber got the job done for $150 and could not believe the hack job done by Max.

We seem to have a yearly January 'date' with Max Solon Plumbing. And although no one wants to have an issue, this company is our go-to for plumbing issues.

Things always break on the weekend, as we all know. This time, the kitchen sink backed up. Luckily, we were able to wait until Tuesday for the first available time slot.

The text indicating Pepe was enroute brought smiles. He arrived at the time he said he would. He analyzed the issue, went on the roof to clean the main line and provided a maintenance program (baking soda & white vinegar in sink drain overnight every two weeks). Apparently, there is grease buildup no matter how careful you are in the kitchen.

Pepe made us laugh when he said I've been here before. I remember walking over your roof. He left with the promise we see him January 2024 (hmm, just great lol)

We highly recommend this company. I almost forgot. Pictures of the issue are emailed with the invoice.

I have used Max Solon plumbing 3 times now. They are responsive, reasonable and very professional. Both Pepe and Matt did excellent work. They are very skilled at working in my 1955 house. Highly recommended.

Max Solon Plumbing has done work on my home for two different projects now. First time was to install a new hot water heater. The second time was to repair a toilet drain line that someone else had repaired incorrectly and had started to leak. Both times, Max Solon's plumbers exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them.

I had Max Solon Plumbing do some work for me today. Pepe worked in the bathroom and Tyler did the video inspection of my sewer line. These guys are hard working and did the job right.
