So I got this recommendation from a friend and the young man who came to my home was very pleasant. I needed some plumbing work done on a sink, my under kitchen sink pipes and a toilet. The worker did the job and it seemed fine. A couple days later the toilet was running, so I wiggled the handle and nothing, I took the tank top off and noticed that the flapper wasn't dealing properly. I turned the water off and called, the same young man cam out and said I adjusted the chain and flushed it ten times - it seems fine. Okay - this is our third bathroom which we rarely use but I was having guests and suddenly the toilet was run in good again. Seriously? I just had a total rebuild of this toilet why is this happening? I called again and they sent two guys out. The one man was extremely condescending asking me if I am flushing the toilet too hard. WTF? Ummm I have been flushing toilets for 60 years and they don't run. I told him I had the cable guy look at it (LOOK - I just wanted verification that this wasn't ME!) I told that to the worker and he said what did he do to the toilet?Maybe it was him or something you did.Ummmm NO - if you jiggle the handle and it doesn't work you naturally open the tank to see what's going on. Then he said maybe you need a new toilet. I said YOU are the plumbers - I was happy to do what was needed - do I or don't I need a new toilet? He said probably not. All was well for almost a week (although that toilet wasn't used too much) and I just went in to use that toilet and it was running again AND there is water on the floor And I can't figure out from where. I'm done with these people - I am going to call a legit plumber and get my toilet fixed - then I'm going to take them to small claims court. I won't be treated like I'm guilty of breaking my toilet and I won't have these unskilled laborers in my home again.
