Leak Doctor

They spend 15 minutes looking for the leak and it was parts inside the toilet causing our high water bill. They charged $325 for the service call and $25 to replace parts inside the top part of the toilet. The issue wasn't the price, it was the fact they only replaced one part and not the flapper that was clear worn. The next day the toilet was running again. I was so frustrated that I just purchased a kit myself and replaced the flapper. No issues since. Talk about $350 down the drain!

Horrible customer service, I called them on Sat at 11, the answering service says they would have the dispatch call me, which they did and said they could come out between 1-3 pm and that the normal price during the week for underground leak search was $390, but becuae it was the weekend it would be $130 more, I thought that was kind of steep but I really wanted to get this fixed, so I said come on. I called them at 2:50 because I had not heard from the tech that they were on their way, the answering service lady acted like I was wrong for asking why I hadn't heard from anyone even though it was 10 mins till 3pm. She reluctantly agreed to call dispatch and let them know. At 3:45 I still hadn't heard from anyone, and I called back and this time got dispatch, she says she just got my message, and apologizes, they haven't been able to reach their tech, and normally he's punctual. Says she will call me back as soon as they reach him, it is now 5 pm , and I'm writing this review still haven't heard back from anyone. Obviously business is booming for them that they can treat customers like sh***t, I called another company. Buyer beware with these folks.

from the first phone call and getting a price to making sure someone was coming out and the price change of 100 dollars, then to disputing it and agreed the 450.00 first price.   Being told that the leak would be detected and FIXED (for additional cost) was the ONLY reason I still had your service.  After finding the leak and digging to be told NO.  the pipe was too big!!!! having to call another company on a SATURDAY EASTER WEEKEND!!!!  Anthony was very nice and worked hard- that is the ONLY thing this company has as a benefit even being part of BBB???  I question that.  He was leaving and gave me a form..right on the form states the costs up to 450.00!!!! I also had to call the following week for my paid bill.   Next time you try to rip of someone make sure you dont ask for a referral or feedback..  this will hit YELP too!!!  they also asked for a reference and feedback..who would recommend a company that makes their secretary lie for them?

Avoid this company by all means unless you want to be left with an  overpaid taste of aggregation. Charged me $350 to locate a leak and they did locate it... Only problem is that what they didn't  tell me  qasbthat $350 is the fee to locate a single leak.. And if it turns out (like in my case) you have more than one leak and they would need to come back  then they will charge you another $350 for each new leak that they will find. Thieves... Only  after threatening to contact my credit card to charge back their original fee ,did  their manager offer me  to send their tech for free for a follow up inspection... But then 30 min called me and said thay they changed their mine and instead chose to refund my  money. Extremely unprofessional shady company. Claim that they are the pioneers in leak detection but I suspect they also were first to start  ripping  people off in this business. Call someone else and don't waste your money on these people.

imcompetent company. sent two techs out and didn't find the leak. then refused to refund, sent ppl digging for hors still no leak.

I recommend leak Doctor! If you have a leak and not sure where it's coming from, hire this company. I had two plumbers come out to my home due to my water meter detecting an abnormal water flow. One plumber told me to build an entirely new plumbing system without even finding the leak. The other told me to change my hot water tank, again without finding the leak. Both quotes were in the thousands. I contacted Leak Doctor and they came out on a Saturday. The technician used a detection device to listen to every pipe in my home... No leak. He went to the yard and found the leak just a few feet from the water meter itself. He was able to fix the puncture for a fraction of the other estimates. I would recommend this company any day!
