Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I have used this company many times. I called  for plumbing help today and within a few minutes, Melvin returned my call. He knew by talking with me exactly what the problem was. He came prepared with all the necessary parts and tools. He was fast, efficient, courteous, and very personable. The work from this company is always great.
I recommend Rotor-Rooter and Melvin.

I know the rates are a little high, but I've had problems with one drain for several months and attempts by others have not cleared the problem.  This time I can hear the water draining properly all the way to the end.  The price was worth getting it done right the first time.

Ben came by yesterday and was able to clear a clogged drain. He was helpful and friendly and gave a good estimate on a bigger job we may need to have completed down the road. Have dealt with roto rooter a few times and have been happy with them.

We were hired by this company to do asbestos testing and have yet to receive payment.  Work was completed in February.  Constantly given the run around.  I do NOT recommend this company!!!

Service Tech (Ben Perry) was great.  Completed the work in a timely manner.  Very knowledgeable and personable.  Would definitely recommend this company for your plumbing service.

Terrible experience with Neil. Came out a few days ago to look at a toilet in my house that had started leaking from the tank. He replaced the flapper and hose in the tank in about 10 minutes using a kit that cost 26 dollars, then charged me 240 in labor for some unclear reason (nothing itemized). He left before I had a chance to review the work. I and my husband quickly realized that the toilet would only flush with effort and was running for hours after a flush. Clearly, the new flapper and hose were installed improperly. When he came back out he insisted that the only problem was that I was flushing the toilet wrong. He got so offended when I mentioned that the other three toilets in my house were working fine despite everyone in the house using the same flushing technique, and indeed showed him that an adjacent toilet was flushing properly, he had a full on temper tantrum, saying that he has 13 years of experience and that I didn't know what I was talking about and spouting nonsense about how all handles on all toilets have to be pointed at a specific angle. He actually yelled and stormed out of the house, leaving the door unlocked and leaving a shocked customer behind, to say the least. When I called the main office they said they would have Neil's supervisor call me, and I am still waiting. I agree with the other recent poster that a local company is the way to go. Contractors can be unpredictable, uneven, and, in this case, unqualified and unhinged!

Great service and came on time. Unclogged drain and explained how to keep it clean in the future.

We had a pipe burst on Christmas and turned to Roto-Rooter largely out of desperation as several other plumbers that we tried to reach were, understandably, unavailable. The price quoted was high (again, understandable - it was a holiday emergency repair, after all), but my expectations were not. Fortunately, this turned into one of those glad to be wrong situations.

The plumber, Austin, arrived at our home in under an hour. Despite being flooded (pun unintended) with similar service calls all day, he was courteous, and he successfully repaired the pipes.

That took care of the immediate problem, but a lot of water had accumulated in our ceiling. Thankfully, Roto-Rooter's Water Restoration department was great to work with. Taylor got an estimate, walked us through the cleanup process, and scheduled the removal. Luis and Henry were professional and responsive throughout the cleanup process. It took several days of machinery running to get all of the water out, but they kept us updated and handled set-up/take-down with impressive efficiency.

While I hope that the need does not arise for a very long time, I would not hesitate to use Roto-Rooter again.

I highly recommend!  Bobby came out, very nice, very professional & did an excellent job.  He was very understanding to my needs & particular situation.  Price was reasonable & he worked hard for several hours to complete a neat, clean job.  I know it wasn't easy, he had to get into tight crawl spaces & deal with a overly excited woman, but he handled everything like the PRO he is.  Thank you for a job well done & the friendly attitude!

The office staff was so nice!  A service person was sent within a few hours after I called, and he cleared my drain within minutes after his arrival. The company called within minutes to be sure my problem was completed to my satisfaction. I recommend this company highly!  They were so helpful, and I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

Main water valve had a leak. Called out Roto-Rooter to resolve the problem. The plumber assured me he could fix the problem for the next 20 years and that it was under warranty. He packed the nut with teflon tape and turned it off/on a few times confirming it worked. Flash forward to 8 months later, I go to turn off the water valve and it starts leaking immediately.

Do not use Roto Rooter if you possibly can help it. They charged me $187.25 for a single use fix to a slow leak.

When I called them to see if they would resolve it, they did not have any management on call at 5:45pm and would only schedule me for a paid visit.

My washer drain began to overflow and then began to have sewage coming out all over my laundry room. They appeared on time and took care of the job efficiently.

We had a clogged kitchen sink. These folks told us they would come give an estimate and if we did not use their services it would cost $80. They came and said it would cost $380 to unclog a kitchen drain. We said no thanks and paid the $80. We got a real plumber to unclog the kitchen and check both bathrooms the next day for $130. This is a predatory business.

Well the lady asked me to contact her and then nothing happened. Remember, Roto Rooter will bait and switch and then sneak services and charges in on you if your not paying attention. I still cannot get over their cost, $331 for 15 minutes of work and they broke my brick steps pulling that snake up my back steps. These shiesters make more per hour than a New York Lawyer!!!!
