Alfredo responded to a weekend call for a clogged toilet.  After some testing bathroom operation he found a brach line to be clogged and not the toilet.  His advise was that he must pull the toilet, cable and unclog branch line and he would video inspect the branch line and rest toilet since the home was new he recommended the I advise builder to assess if this problem was under warranty and the charge was $165 for this assessment.  The next morning the toilet overflowed and I called the builder and Roto Rooter to make the assessment, both plumbers advised that there was a clog due to personal items blocking the line (I had previously asked Alfredo if that was the case since the house was rented for a year) Alfredo had advised that was NOT the case subsequently Roto Rooter used the hole outside of the home unclogged the line and found baby wipes as the culprit.  Choice plumbing diagnosis was wrong and cost me significant dollars due to the misdiagnosis, the weekend rate I paid was for a diagnosis that dd not address the next step of clearing the line through the maintenance plumbing hole on the side of the home and if addressed appropriately would have saved me from the overflow of the toilet that occurred the next day. I would not recommend this plumbing service.  I should also note the Roto Rooter cost was much lower for the service and the estimate Alfredo provided for the toilet removal but since Roto Rooter was more thorough in their inspection the toilet removal was not required they were aware of the hole on the side of the house that was used to unclog the line.

Total rip-off artists.   I had new tile installed in my kitchen & bathrooms recently.    The tile installers accidentally broke the plumbing valve behind my refridgerator so I had to call a plumber to repair it.   Unfortunately I chose choice plumbing.   ( Bad choice apparently...)   They repaired my refridgerator valve satisfactorily but then advised that I'd need to have the flange joints on my toilet raised since I was getting new tile in the bathrooms.    The tile installers said this wasn't necessary but I stupidly believed choice plumbing.    So after the tile is installed,  choice comes over to raise the flange joints and re-install my toilets.    After about 10 minutes of puttering around,  they tell me that, in fact,  they don't need to raise the flange joints but need to charge me $300 just to re-install the toilets.    ( The tile installers would've done this for free as part of their fee....)   I threw choice plumbing out and called another plumber who charged me $125 to have the toilets installed.     Don't waste your money with choice plumbing.    Nothing but con artists.

I called Choice Plumbing on a Sunday to leave a message and they picked up the phone. I was scheduled for a kitchen faucet job within a few seconds. The customer service was excellent. The plumber who came to my house (Johnny)  was a true professional, explained everything he was going to do before the job and explained to me what he did when he was complete. What I liked, unlike some of the the past plumbers, he left the area spotless which I wasn't expecting and even took care of the trash for me. Really enjoyed the service and I'm definitely using Choice Plumbing as my plumbing service from here on out. I recommend.

I called my home warranty company, American Home Shield, about a leaking garbage disposal. Usually it takes at least 2 days to hear back from whichever vendor they send my work order to, but this time American Home Shield sent my work order to Choice Plumbing.

I was pleasantly surprised when a scheduler from Choice Plumbing called me less than 1 hour after I submitted an online warranty service request to American Home Shield. Choice had service appointments available the very next day. I only had a slow leak in my garbage disposal, so it wasn't an emergency requiring same day service.

The Choice Plumber arrived right on time in the very early party of my 2 hour service call time window. He was very courteous and efficient. He immediately inspected the problem and determined that I needed a new disposal as my old one had water damage due to the leak that caused the internal electrical components to be water damaged.

He immediately called it in to his service department who very quickly got authorization from American Home Shield to replace my disposal. Within 45 minutes of arriving the Choice plumber had identified to the probkem, got authorization from my warranty company, and replaced my disposal with a brand new one. The plumber was also very tidy, cleaned up after himself, and took care not to damage my wood floors in my kitchen.

The last time that I had a plumber from another company (NOT CHOICE PLUMBING) out to my house to install a new dishwasher, he made a mess, didn't clean it up entirely, and he scratched and dinged my new wood floors in my kitchen. The Choice Plumber DID NOT have any of the issues.

I would definitely highly recommend Choice Plumbing due to their fast, efficient, high quality service. I can't speak to their prices because my only complaint experience with Choice Plumbing was covered by my home warranty thru American Home Shield.

This company was selected by our home warranty company when our water heater sprung a leak.  They came out right away and assessed the situation.  We knew the water heater was original to the house (40+ years old), so replacing it was expected.  The tech, Brian, clearly explained what was required to bring the plumbing up to code when installing the new water heater.  They had to order the water heater (a Monday afternoon) and said they could install by Thursday.  We were pleasantly surprised the next day to get a call saying they had the water heater for install.  They were out within an hour, installed the water heater, upgraded the plumbing and were on their way.  This unpleasant experience of having a water heater go out could not have gone any smoother and we only have Choice Plumbing to thank!  We highly recommend them.

Excellent plumber resolved all of the issues promptly and courteously. I highly recommend this company!

I was quoted an arrival time of 8AM-12PM. Noon comes around and I've heard nothing. I call Choice Plumbing and the woman who answers tells me that the person that is supposed to be here is installing a water heater at another location and should be done any minute. Cool. No big deal. It is now 3PM and still no one has showed up. I called Choice Plumbing AGAIN to see what's going on and the man who answers the phone says he needs to call the technician. The guy calls me back apologizing, saying that the technician is supposed to be finished at his current job in 15-30 minutes. Now you tell me???? I get it. It's not this customer service rep's fault that the tech is late, but at this point, I'm so angry from waiting all day that it took every ounce of me not to scream. On top of that, the rep hung up on me. They could have at least called me throughout the day telling me what's going on! Instead, I wasted my day sitting around waiting with no clue when or even if someone was going to show up. They finally showed up at 5 PM. 2 stars Bc at least Johnny was nice.

I called Choice Plumbing today inquiring about a entire repipe as I have polybutylene pipes.  After asking enough questions... it was revealed (not disclosed) that they charge a $40 fee to give an estimate! This has been the only company that I've called that does not offer free estimates. Beware of having them come to your home before knowing if you will be charged this fee!

They are the worst! Always have to have them out more than once. They put the sale of my home in jeopardy bc they failed to complete the permitting process. So 8 years later I have to call them to submit it correctly and they find some way to make it my fault- which is just awful customer service. AHS assigns them to us so that is the only reason I continue to use this business. In my new home I've now had them out on two different issues and Johnny just plain doesn't want to do the work. Uses the AHS doesn't cover something on some technicality with my description of the symptoms. Other companies we've used treat their clients right and troubleshoot the problem. He won't even do that. Laziness.

I see all the other great reviews about this company thats awesome , how ever we called them out on an emergency they sent out a plumber since we had issues shutting off the water the plumber had to wait and of course he was on the clock . After 3 hours we finally shut the water off so he could get to work . And thats when the issues begin i could clearly see the plumber was in a bad mood since he finally had to work. To start off he did not have the proper tools nor material to work with we had to take him to home depot and i bought the stuff we needed including the glue. When we got back we did all the physical work, the digging, cutting all he did was put the glue around the pipe and put it together. 660.00$ was the charge ,which i some what understand. Since we where missing a section of metal pipe and all we did was just rig it so the homeowner would have water for the weekend he said he would come back on Monday. He came back with the metal section of pipe,i figure since he had the part already,he knew what he suppose to do we had given him the buisness certain fees would be waved NOPE!! They charged 550.00$ .I tried to reach out to management both by phone and email no response just as unprofessional as the gentleman they sent out. So if you call them tp service your home our buisness and a Gentleman named Kurt shows up i would request a different plumber for the same company if not your in for a half ass job .

Johnny did a good job at my house today; fixed the two problems we had, and was very nice.

Johnny was a very professional and friendly and knowledgable technician that determined our plumbing issues and fixed it quickly.

Developed a clog in a toilet and called them based on the Google reviews.  They showed up earlier than they said which was great.  When they arrived I showed them the problem and they asked me to go flush the toilet in another bathroom.  That bathroom then flooded that part of the house.  During my frantic efforts to get the water off the floor he indicated that he could fix it for $300; did I want to do it.  Great strategy, make the problem worse and then offer to fix it at a ridiculous rate.  I've owned homes all over the country and never paid $300 to clear a drain.

Brice was an Excellent Technician--professional, knowledgeable, efficient and has very good communications skills!!  He diagnosed the problem with our Hot Water Heater and repaired it. We are grateful to have our Hot Water back!

We had two houses repiped due to slab leaks and Freddy and Alex did an Excellent job!  They were Very Professional, Friendly, and Knowledgeable.  

Also, it was one of those months when it rains it pours...we had to have two faucets replaced that were leaking...The Excellent service continued with Rick who is also Very Knowledgeable, Professional, and Friendly also.

Now to the main question the prices for the repiping and faucets were much more reasonable then the other companies.

Showed up same day on a home warranty claim.  Chis was on time, polite, and very helpful explaining what he was doing and why.  Installed a new garbage disposal, tested it to our satisfaction and let the work area spotless.

We called Choice Plumbing because of a leak and they were right out. We had a very polite and knowledgeable tech name Johnny who explained everything in terms that I understood.
He took pictures and showed me what was fixed as well as gave me suggestions with an future issues. He was very efficient and I would highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

I used Choice Plumbing to unclog my pipes and IT WAS NOT WORTH IT! My daughter called Choice to get an estimate on unclogging my stools. To begin they charge $250 to unclog the pipes. That was absolutely too high as I have used cheaper plumbing companies. The tech stated that he could give us a discount of $180 and waive the inspection fee. To begin I did not know there was a fee for coming out to inspect the job because he had previously told my daughter that there was no charge to inspect the problem. My daughter stated that she wanted the tech to complete the job because I needed the work done and she just wanted the problem to be resolved. She informed the tech that he could complete the job but I needed to leave to get the rest of the money because she did not expect the price to be that high. The tech stated that he would wait for me to get the money as long as it was not a lengthy amount of time because he had other calls. It took me a total of 12 minutes to get the money and return home but by the time I got back the tech told me that he had cleaned the pipes out and that he just needed to be paid. I was in a state of shock, how could he have completed the job that quickly? I asked him what was the problem that had the stools backing up and he replied wipes! There had been wipes in the pipes when he cleaned them out. I was surprised he completed the job so quickly because my stools had been backed up pretty bad and there was no water, no wipes, or trash around the outside main that he said he cleaned out. There wasn't any evidence that he had even opened or completed any work and that was impossible! I knew in my heart that he had not cleaned out the main, it was impossible with such a huge backup and no water at ALL! There was nothing that I could do! I had to pay the tech because he stated that he did the job! All I could do was Pray that he was being honest because otherwise, I was out of $200! The tech left and less than a week later my stools began to have the exact same problem that I had just paid them for. When I called Choice Plumbing to tell them my issues they told me that it would be an additional $200 to come out and just check the problem. I told her that I had just paid them to complete this job and in less than a week later I am having the same problem, they NEVER corrected the problem! The representative told me to hold on and then came back to the phone and told me that it would be $165 for them to come back out to evaluate the job! I told it has only been a week, she stated that if I read the contract before I signed it, it stated that there is no guarantee on unclogging! To begin I never signed a contract! The tech gave his phone to sign that he was there to do the job and that the job was done afterward! But how could I be sure of that if I never saw him do the job and there was no debris, water or trash to prove that he cleaned out the pipes! If there are no roots clogging the pipes and he cleaned the pipes out thoroughly, why am I having the exact same problem 4 days later? I have never had my pipes unclogged and still have the same exact problem within days! They are scammers taking advantage of others! They feel that people are vulnerable during this pandemic and took advantage of the situation. I will be sure to warn everyone through all avenues of, how they are scamming! Choice Plumbing should be ASHAMED!!!!!
WATCH OUT! WATCH OUT because this can be devastating for the elderly, low-income, or targeted populations who are more than vulnerable to these types of SCAMS!

Excellent service by Rick V.! He took the time to explain the issue to me in detail and then completed a prompt repair. He arrived on time and cleaned up completely before leaving. Great service!!

I had my 3rd service today with Choice Plumbing. Alfredo has been always sincere, honest, and done great work at my home for the past 3 years. His customer service is superb and work skills are excellent !! Thank you very much, Alfredo. I look forward to seeing you next time for another service. ^_^

Javier came in a mask, was very friendly and helpful. Primary reason was to install a water heater which I had purchased the wrong size (medium vs tall) so he had to come back in a few days while I did an exchange with Home Depot. They charge a $30 visit but discount that after work is performed. Came back in a few days and did an excellent job.  We had a garbage disposal that I installed earlier in the year but it fell down from the locking collar recently. He fixed this for free and showed me what I did wrong and that I had to use channel locks to lock it I did not know that. Pay the professionals.

Outrageous prices they charged $225 to unclog a garbage disposal. No replacement, just turn the Allen key under it and vacuum out the glass that stuck in there. Maybe 20 minutes of work.

This company is completely incompetent; the only reason I ended up with them is through a home warranty company. They have been working on fixing my leaky faucet for four going on five months. They have no showed, showed up with the wrong parts, and been completely unprofessional. They even assured me the last guy had been fired. How unprofessional is that? If you have a choice steer clear of this company. I have no idea how they're still in business.

Do not call thiis company! They were sent to my home by my warranty company to fix a leaking tub faucet. Because the part was under warranty, I had to get the part but then they wold return to install it. I called this morning to schedule an appointment. Jill asked if tomorrow afternoon was available and I said no only early afternoon. Then she suggested today. I was surprised that I could be seen so quickly but happy nonetheless. She quoted me 1:00-3:00 and that the technician would call when on his way. At 2:55 I had not received a call or arrival so I called them. I got Jill again. She said she was the one that would've called me but didn't. I didn't get an apology or any sense of regret whatsoeer. She said he was running behind and he would get there when he could. Would not give me any type of estimate but kept asking if I wanted to reschedule which I declined. We agreed that the technician would call me and that either I or my daughter would be here. She asked if he should call my daughter and I said no - call me and we confirmed the number. To my surprise, he called my daughter and cancelled the appt. I called back within 10 minutes and spoke to both Jill and the owner who told me no other appointments were available. Seriously? They screwed up at lease  times, but they won't try to make it right. THe owner then starts yelling at me and refusing to come to my home. I called my warrantty company who inturn, called Choice Plumbing. They told my warranty company that I called insisting on being seen today and they were trying to fit me in. That I cussed them out and said terrible things and that's why they refused to do busines with me. Funny that when they did non-warranty work for me just 2 weeks ago, everything went fine. I even got a quote for a $3000 job for additional plumbing work. After today, they have lost any future business with me and I am glad I found out what an unprofessional and and underhanded company they really are.

I just had Choice Plumbing out for repairs on a newly purchased home. I could not have been more pleased with the technician, Javier!!! He was awesome! He took care of every issue and was genuinely concerned about making sure he took care of the issues properly. This was my first experience using Choice plumbing and I will definitely use them again and request Javier as the technician should I need any future plumbing services. Great experience!!! Their prices are extremely high. Plain and simple. It was $265 to replace a kitchen faucet that had all of its parts. The worst part though was that they were not transparent at all, with unclear, verbal descriptions of the work and costs and rushed me to sign an iPad with no details for what was happening.

We needed a faucet replaced in our kitchen. When I called, they couldn't tell me what this would cost (even ballpark). So they came out and told me there were rusty pipes we needed to change, and the total cost would be $295, this after he and the other team member with him had to go to their truck to provide a quote. I have had many quotes for things around the house like this and have never had someone have to step away to figure out the pricing, so that should have been my first clue. The price seemed high, but it included pipe replacement so we decided to just move forward. After accepting, he then said we had one of the parts already since it came with the faucet (you'd think he would have checked for that before providing a quote), so he'd discount our total quote by $30 since we had that. But I still thought based on what he said that he was replacing more than just a faucet which we provided. He did not. He was here for maybe 20-30 min max and charged that much. He didn't even test the faucet -- I had to. And he didn't walk me through what he did, which is common when someone works on your house, car, etc. Just explain what you did before I pay, and without me asking.

This company and its workers should be more transparent by providing an itemized list of work + costs. It was verbal, confusing and deceiving. When I called back to complain, they said the normal install price was in the $300s, so we technically got a discount already (it's funny they had the pricing when I called back to complain but not when I was looking for quotes). They offered to send us $30 reimbursement and a coupon for future services. While an offer, we will never use them again and I could not recommend them less based on this experience.

I called them to get a new water heater installed and talked to the owner Nick.  He sent a guy named Rick to do the installation.  Rick was very prompt and did a great job installing our water heater.  I would definitely recommend Choice Plumbing.

It was Friday and we just moved into our rental house.  A garage and house full of boxes.  I noticed the hot water heater was leaking all over the garage.  We scheduled an appointment with the home warranty company and waited patiently for the service call from another contractor.  It never came.  

Saturday morning came, and on the phone with warranty company and their contractor couldn't make it till Tuesday.  Really?  I called Choice Plumbing mid-Saturday morning and Nick answered the phone and the 2nd ring!  He said they had a hot water heater in stock and could install today!

After going several rounds with the warranty company we finally received out of network approval.  Now it was 3pm on a Saturday and I was a little worried of going another night without hot water.

I called Nick again and he said Alex would pick it up and be over to install it later today.  Again, I was a little worried because it was already 3pm on a Saturday and figured they we only working 8-hours.  Alex showed up later that evening, after hours, on a Saturday, and installed the 50 gallon hot water heater.  By 9pm we were good to go, install complete and we had hot water!

Professional, fast, courteous, and patient is what CHOICE PLUMBING is a lot about.  I will never call another plumber.  Thanks Alex and Nick!  Much appreciated!

Called Choice and within 2 hours Javier was on his way. Once he arrived he assessed the situation and provided an estimate. We came to an agreement and job was completed in a timely fashion. Great job and highly recommended Javier. Thank F. Fox
