We have hired Volt Pro Electric for several jobs and always  had a great experience--they work quickly and their rates are very reasonable. I saw a few negative reviews about an apprentice/assistant but know that person no longer works for the company. Their owner Michael is top notch and works to ensure that his staff provide the same caliber of workmanship and professionalism that he does.

Would not use services again. Kitchen rewire now leaves me unable to plug new coffeemaker into any outlet without tripping breaker. Refrigerator less than 6 months old intermittently trips breaker with no other appliances plugged in. Now washing machine needs to be plugged into family room to function.  Michael's response:!why is this my problem, call the manufacturer. Not sure how he would feel if he came in injured to ER where I worked as RN and after not responding to pain medication, I told him I didn't see how this was my problem and maybe he should call the drug manufacturer because I gave him the pain meds according drug protocols.

Our general contractor hired them to do the wiring in our kitchen remodel.  Some of their work was great, however, we encountered several problems with the electrical throughout the project (some work did not pass code, sloppy install of sockets/plates, the range breaker not disconnected in the electrical box, electrical outlet that was never reconnected).  Apprentice's work had to be re-done and we were charged anyway.  We now have to run an extension cord to the other side of our living room because the only outlet  we had over there was never reconnected.  Although we informed the Volt Pro owner of this, he will not fix it.  Apprentice came out to fix some things but told us he was only allowed to work on the fixes for an hour and he could not get to the outlet during that time.

I'm not sure how their prices compare to other companies. We had them put an outlet in, which works fine. However, the service left MUCH to be desired. The technician showed up late and hung over (or high, I'm not completely sure). Having forgotten the part he needed, he ran over to Home Depot, and proceeded to charge us for the time spent traveling there and back. I'm sure not all of their employees are of that caliber, but the particular experience we had was not good.

We hired Volt Pro to install a fan and light in our new bathroom. They were on time, on budget and friendly.

Michael was rude and had an attitude over the phone with me.  I scheduled my appointment one week out and the appointment came and went with a no show.  When I called, he informed me, with an attitude, that something came up and he wasn't going to make it.  Bad experience overall.

I have been having a really hard time getting contractors out to service our new home, lately. The A/C in our backyard apartment was not working and it's getting really hot out this time of year. I called Michael and he fit me in the next day. Really laid back, easy and honest. Thankfully, it was just a shorted fuse and he had it fixed in less than an hour.

Great service at an affordable price! The electricians were friendly, clean and on time. You can't ask for more than that! Highly, highly recommended.

They are on time and courteous,  charge for time spent on the job (which was expected) and carry most parts. We had some issues with light switches not turniong off the lights. We highly recommend them!
