We are a full service electrical contractor based in Golden. We are a company built on a strong foundation of customer service and quality workmanship. There is no job too big or too small for us. Our residential electrical service department is ready to serve you. We specialize in service work and our technician will be able to give you a guaranteed price in writing before any work begins, we do not charge by the hour. Our technician will arrive at your home in a warehouse on wheels, able to complete any electrical task you may need. There are no surprises behind our pricing we will give you a Single price for the work to be completed.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Rob started Singletrack Electric in May of 2002. Rob had 17 years of experience as an electrician prior to starting his own company. He began his electrical career two weeks out of high school and worked his way up to a Commercial Electrical Foreman by the age of 24. After working for various electrical contractors through almost two decades, Rob landed a position with a Fortune 50 company. He held the Master's Electrical license for the Rocky Mountain Branch, and assisted with the development of an in-house electrical division. Frustrated with corporate politics and lackluster customer service, Rob decided to start his own company in Golden, Colorado.
Beginning by himself doing small residential and commercial projects, Rob grew the company over the years to where it is now. Helping it to not only succeed, but grow during a down economy. He attributes Singletrack Electric's success to having a corporate internal structure with family run philosophies.

I've used Singletrack for three jobs and was more than pleased with each engagement. I have a decently high end home (not bragging just saying that I am particular about who I let work on it) and I had Travis out to install some smart switches to help with a home automation project and I had Peter out for twice for a drywall repair and cabinet installation. I know Singletrack is known for electrical but they are equally competent in the other areas they service. Travis and Peter were great: Showed up on time and pleasant to work with and completed the work perfectly. Noelle, the scheduler, is the most courteous scheduler I've spoken with in a long time. She really has the gift of customer service. There have been other companies I've called where I was left feeling like I'm interrupting their Facebook time. Not the case here. Call her and you will know what I mean. I may call her just to chat about random stuff!
My next jobs with Singletrack are more smart switches and a home backup generator, scheduled for next week. It's tough to find impressive workers in the trades but this is my team moving forward. They have taken the stress out of these projects because I don't have to wonder if they will show up, show up on time, make a mess of my house, do a poor job, or make me feel like I have to babysit. Also, they have a big enough team that I'm not waiting weeks to get on the schedule. The longest I've waited to have someone out was 3 days. Then they just get the work done right. That's all I ever ask of a contractor.

I received a verified quote from this company 2 weeks prior to beginning the job. It outlined all of the duties and the project cost. When they arrived today to perform the work, they informed me they could not complete one of the previously agreed upon duties and that I would need to hire someone else for that portion of the project. This set my whole project into a tailspin as that portion was a very intregral part of the work to be completed. As I scrambled to find someone else to perform that job duty and keep the project on track, they then informed me they could not honor any portion of the original quote and would instead be switching to an hourly rate. A rate that again they could not confirm would not exceed the original agreed upon amount. It was a complete bait and switch that left me completely in the dark. This is a very dishonest company.

When I called to ask about services and set an appointment the office manager was incredibly nice. She explained how they work and gave me a service time that worked with my schedule. Here's the kicker you won't believe, they showed up exactly when they said they would. The price was reasonable and the tech did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge when it comes to the electrical systems in my home. I plan on getting some more work done in the future. Like adding a 220V outlet in my garage, so I can start a welding hobby. The tech even gave me a quote for that so I know exactly what it will cost when I'm ready.
I love working with Singletrack. I run another small electrical company and have partnered with Singletrack on numerous jobs. Their electricians are knowledgeable, quick, and polite. The office staff is always kind and helpful.
