Louis, the owner of Absolute Electrical, Heating and Air began in the electrical trade right out of high school. He was excited about the challenge the home service industry held and the opportunity to work with his hands. Louis worked for a large and well known service/construction company in the Denver area. Throughout his career he gained experience in all facets of the residential, commercial and industrial trade.

While growing in his profession he also attended a trade school to increase his knowledge base.
Louis learned the business practices of the larger company he worked with and improved upon them to build and structure Absolute Electrical, Heating and Air differently. He believes in serving the community one service call at a time.

AC went out on Thursday and they were able to come out on Monday afternoon. The found a bad capacitor and charged 580 to replace. I wish I would have looked this up beforehand since o found the part cost around 50, and most places quoted between 100 and 300 to replace. Repairman then talked me into replacing the hard starter kit for 638. I then found the part was around 50. It took less than 30 minutes to replace. Repairman seemed to know what he doing but absolute was way overpriced.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. Dave, the technician seemed to be in a bad mood and had terrible customer service. I get not loving helping ppl with their ac but I think the owner may want to know this particular employee very poorly represents the company in attitude and communication.

Called on recommendation of appliance repairman.  Timely response but regardless of issue or time spent, lowest level charge is $485.  Seems grossly excessive and bears no relation to problem found. Tech spent equal time trying to up sell.

Scheduling was easy, but pricing was outrageous. They quoted me $651 to replace a doorbell transformer. A transformer costs $25 and can be swapped in 10 minutes. Don't get scammed by this company.

In addition to their services for homeowners the company does philanthropic work for those less fortunate. This is a sign of a company that cares about their community especially in this challenging year of COVID and so many other issues.

They were just great. I was in a bad spot. Quick to schedule. Quick to arrive and were thorough in their analysis. Everything was explained. I had no heat from my furnace which turned out to be a bad meter from Xcel energy that restricted gas into the house. They made sure the furnace was at it's optimal level of performance despite this fact and offered to return free of charge if things were not set straight by Xcel.

We called Absolute for a few small jobs. The technician came out, looked at the jobs and then went back to his truck for pricing.  Before he even gave me the pricing for my jobs, the tech was trying to sell me on other jobs as well as  an annual membership. I told him I don't want any of those things. When he finally gave me the individual prices, they were far more costly than necessary.

Price to diagnose (not fix) a broken door bell = $393.
Price to replace one light fixture in the basement = $393.
Price to install smoke detectors which I provided = $884.25.

Look at the other 1 and 2 star reviews. They all say the same things. I can't speak about the quality of their work because I told them no thanks. But if you want be upsold and overpriced--you may like working with Absolute Electrical.

So we recently bought our first house, very exciting, but as we are trying to get more things done we are realizing that the previous owners were definite DIY'ers but not in a good way.

We recently bought a fancy thermostat but when me bf and his friend were unable to get it installed we had James from Absolute Electrical Heating come out and try to do it for us.  He was incredibly professional and I really appreciated his honesty!

We knew from the inspection that our furnace was 20 years old and would need to be replaced within the first 6 months but what we didn't know was the absolute rats nest of wires down there by it! Some weren't even attached some were halfway cut (probably not safe) some soddered (is that even the right word) together. Basically a poop show if you know what I mean.

James was straight up with me; and was like look if you want me to do this I can, it will be about $700 but when you replace your furnace in the fall you're going to have to cut all these wires and start fresh anyways, so it it completely up to you! I appreciate that honestly instead of just trying to get a job he values the client and tries to save you unnecessary expenses! We will 10000% be coming back to Absolute Electrical for electric needs in the future due to James honesty and professionalism. I totally recommend this company and look forward to doing business together soon!

Problem after problem with Absolute Electrical. I booked an appointment to have a light fixture taken down and another installed. Absolute Electric cancelled the appointment due to lack of employees. Installation was time sensitive and Absolute Electrical was aware. Chandelier was taken down and another re-installed, which took 35 minutes. We were charged $938 for this service, and noted on the invoice that it was an extemely dangerous job due to the high ceilings and 2 techs were required. Note that nothing was mentioned during the booking process and ceiling height was submitted on my inquiry to the Absolute Electrical. Also note that when we had the lights switched and installed by one electrician from another company that did the job for a fee of $180 approximately a year ago.

I called shortly after receiving the invoice to inquire if it was a typo due to the almost $1000 charge. The lady I spoke with, Alauna, agreed to adjust the price to $180, which as noted, is what we paid to have the light fixture switched out approximately a year ago.

My husband had paid the original fee of $938 for a 30 minute job with a check. He called and paid the $180 over the phone with a card and explained that the check needed to be destroyed to Alauna.

This morning, 3 days later, I checked our account and I see that the $180 charge came out of our account and that Absolute Electrical also cashed the check for $938.
I immediately contacted Alauna and was told that since the check had been cashed the day of service, they would have to issue a refund check. Note that I texted and spoke with her on the day of service approximately 1 hr  following receipt of the invoice, so not sure how the check would have been taken to the bank and cashed immediately after the job was complete. She then went on to say that she had explained that the check was cashed when my husband called to pay the $180 adjusted fee on the phone. This is misleading because that information was never clearly passed along to my husband. Alauna said the check was in the mail. She did not have our current address. That conversation took place on Tuesday and it is Saturday and we have not received a refund check.

The techs are fine and the quality of work is fine. But the sales team will not listen to what you say and will only try to upsell you.
I asked for yearly maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner. A year prior cost $89.
The sales team said I should pay $250 for their membership and get 10% off of their services. I said that only works if it's covering the yearly maintenance and I'm not going to have to pay for it when they arrive. I confirmed several times over the phone.
When the tech showed up he informed me it would cost an additional $310 to the $250 I had paid for.
When I called the sales rep back he didn't even acknowledge the mistake and when I asked for my money back he kept trying to upsell me. Don't recommend until their sales team listens and prices go down.

Great electrical service from Isaiah. He did an excellent job after an electrician from another company ghosted me and two handymen failed to install my TV on a masonry wall above my fireplace. He also addressed a code violation on our electric panel and installed a whole home surge protector. I'd have no hesitations to hire this company again.

This all starts 4 years ago when we bought the house.  When we did our inspection we were told that we had aluminum wiring on some of the outlets. And they would need to be changed sooner than later with updating the electrical panel.  It was on our list of things to but other stuff just got pushed ahead of it.
So come the past 2 weeks.  We started using a space heater in one of our rooms.  And each time we used it we would smell plastic burning.  We thought it was the space heater.  Come come to find out after moving some stuff around it was the other outlet in the room that was burning and melting the outlet and wires.  Good thing we caught it when we did.
So on Tuesday, March 9th we called 3 electrons companies.  One was out of business, another couldn't get out until Thursday and then Absolute could send somebody out in a couple of hours to check the situation out.
They sent Jeremy.  Jeremy was very friendly and attentive the entire process.  He explained things thorough and what the best options were.  He explained he just fix just 1 outlet but there would be no warranty on it.  He explained that going through the entire house and putting Alumiconn Connectors on all outlets that were aluminum and replacing/upgrading the electrical panel was the best option.  Yes, it would be pricey but it would be worth it.  Cause we didn't know at the time but there was another outlet that was already melting the wires inside the wall and could of started a fire at anytime.
So we scheduled the next for Jeremy to come back out and replace the electoral panel and put Alumiconn Connectirs on all outlets and switches that needed it.
He came with 2 assistants who's names were James and Brandon.
Both very professional and attentive.
They all wore masks and gloves inside our house and cautious of our dog.  
The work was very good.  It did take all day but they were replacing and fixing a lot.  
The experience was great.  Again, they explained everything that was happening.  Will definitely hire them again.  Everybody was very professional.  
They got their work down and there wasn't a lot of down time or just hanging around.  From start to finish a great experience.
Yes, this is one persons review and experience with the company and their workers but it was a fantastic one.  If you have a chance to work Jeremy and his team do so.

First time trying to use them. They called at the last minute to say they will be late for the scheduled appointment. So I waited, only to be called again at the last minute and now told that they aren't coming. Very unapologetic and casual about my time, which is valuable to me if not them. Too many options to settle for poor service. On to the next.

UPDATE:

Owner reached out to me after this review and provided full refund - a good sign and nice gesture that indicates the owner, at least, does seem to care. Increasing from 1 star to 3. Still can't go above 3 for reasons for original review.

Scam alert - VASTLY overcharged.

These guys seem SO professional when you first talk to them. The phone staff is very polite and responsive and proactive. And, my technician Hector was very nice and prompt.

But, they really are scamming people.

I was quoted $450 for a ceiling fan install (I already paid for the fan myself) and, after 3 hours of (very good) work, then presented with a bill double that. Guys, that comes out to over $300 per hour!

In addition, I asked for two drivers/transformers to be replaced to fix some under-counter lighting, and they quoted me $978 to replace two drivers.

After the debacle with the ceiling fan, I decided to order the drivers for myself (that simply plug into the wall). The cost for all the parts (2 drivers)? $19.98.

So they wanted to charge me $978 for purchasing $20 in parts, and plugging them into the wall. How can a business have no ethics to do this to someone?

This is a very dis-honest business. Steer clear.

This is another one of those HVAC companies with the flashy trucks that is super overpriced.  I made the mistake of having them work on my property and they charged me thousands to replace a circuit breaker box and then they wired one of the circuits wrong.  This means that everything that was plugged into those outlets pretty much expired on the spot.  This was a rental, so I wound up having to buy the tenant several replacements.  I had to have a different company fix it because Absolute was just too busy (weeks!), and they wanted another trip fee and hundreds more to fix their mistake.  The company that fixed it said it was a rookie mistake.  I am sure it depends on who you get at the company, but I was not impressed by them.

After several other companies tried and failed to assess the reason my AC only worked sporadically, I contacted Absolute Electrical. With so many A/C installation companies to choose from, I suggest going in a different direction than Absolute. Despite solid customer service before our installation and since thanks to Chad and Andrew, we had numerous issues with our new A/C installation as highlighted below:

- Condensate pump emergency shutoff power not connected/installed to new interior A/C unit

- Condensate drain line not routed into washing machine drain - materials (piping, copper, zip ties) left for self-install (see photo)

- Thermostat backplate not installed, thermostat installed with only 1 of 6 screws needed, thermostat installed crooked despite having a built-in level on it

- Large hole left in wall around new thermostat - needing third party drywaller to patch (see photo)

- Tamper-resistant refrigerant locking caps not installed per code on exterior A/C unit

- Old condenser pad not disposed of and left outside next to unit

- Gutter drain removed for placement of exterior A/C unit and not reinstalled

Should you choose to have Absolute install your new A/C unit, my wife and I hope you have a more thorough job done then we did - especially given the significant cost of such a system being installed.

I never post reviews but this has to be the worst experience ever and I'm hopeful maybe seeing it they'll do something to make this right. Our air and heating was working perfectly fine and then they reached out to us for proactive maintenance and broke our furnace system. We have an infant at home so called the emergency hotline to get the problem they created, fixed. First was told nothing they could do, then was assured by the call center someone would arrive btw 8-10PM because it's a chilly night we were worried about what to and the safety of our baby (go to a hotel?) no show, no call. We lit a fire, used space heaters and it's still in the 50s in our house for no freaking reason! After two additional calls, still nobody from absolute heating will call us back and make right the problem they created. The after hours call center they use is kind but they are not empowered to actually do anything. This system is only a few years old (they put in) which now makes me question if we even needed it or if it was a scam. Horrible responsiveness and incompetence. Extremely upset with the way this has been handled. It's one thing to make the mistake and break it but it's another to just ignore it. Not trying to be high maintenance just want our baby to be safe. Call them if you want added unnecessary stress and discomfort, sleep deprivation and to be ghosted. The ABSOLUTE Worst!

So, I'm giving them two stars mostly because of their pricing.  The electrician who came to my home was very polite, knowledgable, and up front about everything.  But ended up charging me $600 for a diagnostic.  Wanted to charge me $1000 to put spacers in five outlets because they jiggled a little, and $400 to replace a $20 breaker in my breaker box.

I want to recommend them because of their customer service, but I just can't.  Even if they offered the best guarantee in the world, the best parts, and great service, such prices are just outrageous.

Price gouging at it's finest!  Make sure you get another estimate before agreeing to their high prices!

I had an issue with an outlet that needed to be repaired.  To their credit, they came the next day while everyone else was booked up.  I have to speculate that part of the reason they have immediate availability is their pricing.

$49 diagnostic fee, seems fair enough.  But I was quoted $803 to troubleshoot an outlet. And an additional $1,051 to put a washer/dryer on its own circuit (estimates are in the photo if you want to get a sense of their pricing). For comparison, I had a licensed electrician upgrade a breaker panel from 100 - 200 amps in a different house, and do some additional wiring, for ~$2,500. The language in the estimate left them plenty of room to argue that the estimate was for troubleshooting and not repairing the problem.  I asked about how long it would take and was told 2-3 hours.  So, about $3-400 per hour.

When I said I was going to get a second opinion, I was given the old and tired sales pitch that I'm paying for their knowledge, they're licensed (so is everyone else that I've reached out to), and then went with the scare tactics.

And finally, I was on the phone with them as they were at a rental property and the electrician told my tenant that I am cheap and want a lower quality option.  After they left, I went to the house and looked for myself. There was a loose wire touching the metal. I capped it off and everything is working just fine now.  It took me about 10 minutes.  That said, I do have another electrician coming to look it over and make necessary fixes, but definitely not falling for the per job cost when they don't even know what the job is (by their own admission in the estimate - much of the cost was troubleshooting).

I'm giving the company 3 stars because their customer service is really great. The people I spoke to by phone before and after the HVAC tech visit were kind and seemingly understanding. However, I did not have my needs met. My specific request was for standard maintenance of the AC and Furnace, both of which are old but running perfectly and just need to be cleaned.  

The tech who came out arrived on time, respected COVID precautions which we appreciated. However, not a single act of maintenance was performed and he was prepared to charge me $190 for the AC and $190 for the furnace - for inspections only. That was nearly the cost of my full house inspection. When I asked whether he had cleaned the coils or outside AC box as advertised to be part of the hvac maintenance (on their website), I was told that would be an extra $200. I don't know anyone who would pay $400 for inspections of working appliances without the expectation that the fee included maintaining the appliance by cleaning them to insure proper function. To save money, I joined the membership at $220. I don't plan to use this company again since I was never in the market for an inspection, and they do not include any maintenance in their fees.

To their credit, the management was apologetic and said they would update their website to be less deceiving to customers who hire them for annual maintenance. I just wish I knew that ahead of time and would have hired another company for the work.

The ladies answering the phones are very professional, but the person that they sent out was not....he said that we needed a new capacitor.   He quoted $467.00
While he was here, I googled and the part was 11 bux!   When he left, it took him less than 5 minutes to put it back on (he had removed it to test it)  Seriously, a 5 minute job and a 11 dollar part for almost $500!

I called around, found a mom and pop kinda guy with a license and got it done for $125
Don't use this company, they overcharge!

Awesome service!  It can be an anxiety inducing moment when in the middle of one large home project you find there's a significant electrical issue that needs to be addressed.  

While ripping up my basement floor I found corroding electrical conduit in the cement I was removing.  If I couldn't get the issue fixed it would have significantly delayed the concrete pour in my basement. I was worried. Getting in touch with companies these days can be like pulling teeth.  Luckily, Absolute has wonderful customer service.  I called and spoke to a person who said she'd send a tech out right a way to take a look at my issue.  Hector (the tech) arrived, surveyed the situation and told me he could get a crew out the next day!  The job required the removal of old electric lines, running new lines, and a complete upgrade of my electric panel.

The next day an entire team of Absolute techs (Givonni, Andrew, Omar, and at least one more person) arrived.  They were courteous and professional. Throughout the job they kept me informed of what they were doing.  The job was significant but they diligently worked the entire day, sorting through the old wiring in my 1930's house.  

The job went into the evening and required some follow up label the new electric box and walk me through their work.  They returned within a week to do so and did a wonderful job explaining what they did and what the breakers controlled.

Absolute has been a fabulous company to work with.  Every time I've called I've spoken with a person and the techs have been awesome.  Thanks to everyone, from phone operators to the service techs for helping turn what could have been a nightmare scenario into a positive experience.

Jeremy Jackson was outstanding, prompt, professional, friendly, courteous, efficient, and engaging. He worked briskly   but carefully, paying particular attention to Covid protocol and protection of our home as he worked and cleaned up.

If you are looking for a cheap deal, Absolute is not your team. If you believe in the phrase you get what you pay for, you'll be happy with their work.

We were pleased enough to ask them to do other work we need done next week.

Wow!! I have an A/C place for life! Our technician,Andrew Alexander, was outstanding!! He was so polite and friendly! He also took the time to explain the problem in detail, but so That I could understand it.
He needs to revisit for another appt and had it set it before he left our house. And he had all Covid prevention in place (mask, gloves) really top notch service!! Thank you!!

Hector, Noah, and Ryan are AMAZING! I called them looking for someone to install some ceiling fans, as I didn't want to climb into the attic and figure it out. Hector came out and was so professional and nice, he assured me he would save me from lots of cursing and possibly some bloodshed on my part and we scheduled an appointment for two days later. The night before our appointment, disaster struck and the AC went out! I called them first thing the next morning and asked if we could just add to our appointment a look at the AC system also. The woman on the phone was wonderful and told me that she could do better than that and sent a technician (Ryan) out right away. He was at the house 30 minutes later and working hard. Turns out it was our controller board, and not only did he replace it, he also made some recommendations for us for better performance. Later that day Hector and Noah showed up to replace our fans, and they were quick and efficient, not to mention appreciative of our dogs trying to help them. All of the pricing was well communicated and showed up front, no surprises. I will call them again!

I requested a quote for a bath exhaust fan installation and the prices they quoted me was ludicrously expensive. Feel free to message me if you'd like the details.

They do seem very professional and are very good at following up. I can only think that they must have a minimum profit per project, which is fine if that's their business strategy. If that was their strategy they could have said look, this job is too small for us. We'll do it for X but you may have better luck elsewhere.

The technician I spoke to was extremely vague about the breakdown between labor and parts and also kept hinting that it was a very difficult job, which was not true.

A few reviews point out that you get what you paid for, but if the quotes price is multiples of their competitors, you do have to ask what exactly are you getting in return.

I would NOT recommend and if you are thinking about going with them I would strongly recommend getting at least one other quote to compare. You might be pleasantly surprised as I was.

I try to hire for minor electrical work and they bowed out due to saying they won't do the work because the recommendation from Angi's bid was to low. I offered $100 more than the job and still opt out not wanting to do the job. They were blaming on Covid and they decided to raise their prices because of it. Also, decided not to wear a mask or protective booties. The electrician didn't want do the job, period. I decided to call another who will do the job and get paid for it. I'm guessing Absolute figures it's beneath them too do small jobs.

After using these guys for a couple years now, they still get 5 stars from me. I've had more great experiences, but most recently, I have to call our Josh H. for all the electrical work he did at my new house over the past week.

Josh went way above and beyond, ensuring that the entire job was done in full and to my satisfaction. He also helped me in several spots come up with viable solutions where the architecture or electrical of my house didn't provide for the best solution to work out of the box. It was clear to me that he wanted to make sure everything was finished and done right.

In a world where smaller businesses seem to be dropping the ball on me left and right (not sure why, given their need to provide good service to just stay afloat in the pandemic), Absolute Electrical continues to go above and beyond and exceeds expectations every time. They even sent thank you cards to my house after the last couple services they did.

I have been thoroughly impressed with every person I've interacted with at Absolute Heating and Air. From the schedulers to the technicians, everyone is super friendly and responsive, and they also know their stuff and are willing to educate my husband and me (as homeowners, we'd like to learn!). Hector came out today for some electrical fixes and was fast, professional, and friendly. Andrew has been out twice before for HVAC checks and fixes and again, he was easygoing, helpful, and knowledgeable (and bonus, both technicians were great with our animals, too). Their prices may be slightly higher than other places, but I am 100% willing to pay that extra cost to get the service I have received.

We were return customers to Absolute Electrical.   No more.

Two years ago they did 2 days worth of work during our kitchen remodel.  We were happy to call them again this week when we needed  2 GFI outlets replaced.  

It took the technician less than 45 minutes to do the work.  The work was fine.  The bill , however, was  astronomical.  

It was $200 less than the bill for the entire 2-day kitchen job 2 years ago.

I called the manager , Kevin, and expressed my displeasure with his billing practice, and told him we would no longer refer his company, nor give him any more of our business.  In addition, I would review his company here.

To my surprise, Kevin the manager returned my call a few hours later, and discounted the bill, which we appreciate.

I understand that the trades are all in high demand, but in my opinion, that should not result in price gouging.   Buyer Beware!

My Dad had them out for the annual service on the furnace. Dad is 87, so, I live with him, and take care of setting up services for him, but he is the one who approves and pays. The tech Andrew, was very patient and explained everything, answered all of his questions. He was honest, didn't pressure sell anything, and didn't find any additional repairs or future replacements. Their pricing was fair and he had everything he needed with him. Very comfortable with this tech in the home.

I called Absolute to inspect smoke alarms that were going off when nothing seemed wrong. It was a $50 inspection fee, which is fine. Instead of actually doing an inspection, the tech instead decided to tell me that everything was wrong with my system (which was recently installed) and said that I should pay $1,800 to change out every alarm and relocate a lot of them. He was more interested in trying to scare me into paying their ridiculous price. He also called my wife 'sweety,' which is really quite offensive and demeaning. There are far better and more honest companies out there - don't waste your time.

If there was a -stars I would give that rating.  Find another Electrician.  Absolute Electric quoted me $49 service call fee, which would go towards my repair.  I requested they repair/replace two outlets in my kitchen which are currently not working.   I explained prior to them coming, I have pressed the GFR switch and checked the fuse box and there is nothing can be switched on to make these outlets work.   As soon as they arrived, they quoted me $189 diagnostic fee, and this would NOT go towards fixing the outlets.  The technician wasn't in my house more than 30 seconds when I was told a completely different - service call/diagnostic fee.  $49 for service call and $189 for diagnostic to tell me it doesn't work and what it would cost to actually repair.  I hired them due to their clear communication on the $49 fee prior to arriving, and then they do a BATE and SWITCH and communicate a completely new fee.  The Manager did try to make amends and then state the $189 MIGHT go towards the repair and then he began to tell me the cost of replacing an outlet would be at least $300 - $500 - without ever looking at the issue.

They need to communicate to their customer prior to arriving, there is a $49 service call fee and $189 diagnostic fee.  If they had communicated this properly, it could have properly set my expectation.  But don't quadruple my fee within 30 seconds of arriving at my house.

Look elsewhere.  There are many other electricians in the area.

We recently purchased a home and our furnace badly needed and inspection and service. We also had compatibility issues with a smart thermostat..so after posting our project on yelp Absolute reached out to us and scheduled an appointment.

Andrew with absolute arrived on time and explained every step of the process clearly. He was cordial and helpful and we plan to continue to use absolute for all of our heating and electrical needs.

Very poor customer service. I Wanted a quote and told them I'd be home at 4:30pm. Rep said we can schedule from 4-6pm Friday night. I proceeded to tell them I don't get home until 4:30, again.  Which they setup the time from 4-6pm.  Received a text at 3:15  saying tech is on their way. ? Which I responded to the message saying I will not be home until 4:30PM...

They showed up at 3:45 before scheduled time frame. Gone before I pulled into the driveway at? You guessed it! 4:30pm.  

Walked inside opened my email and saw the quote.  Three different quotes for god knows what.  Almost $3,000 total.  All I wanted was a light fixture above sink, outdoor outlet in front of house and a 220v outlet for my brewing equipment.  Three simple things. I also had a few questions for the tech but how could I get these answered ?

Our patio lights were out, and we needed quick service as we had guests coming that weekend to enjoy said patio. They were able to schedule us for an emergency visit, which had a reasonable fee. When Hector arrived, he was friendly and very quick to get to the bottom of the problem. Within maybe an hour, he had re-routed a wire through our garage and had the power back to our patio! He also gave us a discount because his tablet was acting up and causing him issues. It wasn't necessary, but he insisted! So in short, we were able to get an appointment scheduled quickly, friendly service, an explanation to what was wrong and what he'd be doing to fix it (I've had people tell me that's just how it is and can't explain much), a great price on the service, and he was fast to boot. Definitely going to call Absolute the next time we have an electrical need! Thanks, Hector!

Hector was my technician. He was super professional, on time, and was able to quickly solve my problem.

Absolute Electric performed an electrical panel replacement to prepare our home for sale. Shortly after, our home went under contract. During the inspection process, we learned that several code violations occurred during the installation: incorrect breakers were installed, neutral and ground wires were connected to the same lug, and neutral wires were double tapped. We were absolutely humiliated and devastated. We paid twice what other electricians had quoted us because Absolute Electric claimed customer satisfaction guaranteed and seemed to be incredibly competent and professional. We are completely devastated to be so taken advantage of and now had to repair the work that we had only recently performed. Absolute Electric did do the repairs, but offered no other remedy other than a less than 0.5% discount/refund on what we paid to have the panel replaced as a resolution. The amount of stress this whole scenario has caused goes so far beyond a .5% discount. Knowing that we paid double what other electricians charge in the area for less than superior work is a devastating loss.

To simplify: we paid DOUBLE what other electricians charge to replace a panel in the area (we received multiple quotes and our neighbors are currently replacing theirs at half the cost) and still had several code violations that impeded our ability to safely sell our home.

I would just go with another electrical company--save yourself the stress, frustration, humiliation, and money!

Encountered AES at Denver home show.  Made an appointment for them to come out to give me an estimate on installing an attic fan and some other electrical work.  Also won a free electrical panel screen worth $250 per the owner.  I asked for a more precise time than 2- 4, and was told I would be contacted to firm up the time before the appointment.  I also told them I would need to provide them details on how to get to my house and access it as it is tricky.  I heard nothing.

3:55 PM my doorbell rings - it is some guy from AES to give me an electrical quote.  I asked him what about the fan and the free panel screen.  He had no idea what I was talking about and asked me to show him my work order.  I showed him and all three items were clearly called out, as well as the note to contact me on an exact time.  I told him I had to leave at 4 in order to get to another appointment, and was almost out the door when he finally showed up as I figured they forgot.

He took a photo of my work order and told me that the owner would contact me and I would get a 10% discount for their mix up.  2 days later - nothing.

So much for the item I won, much less any type of follow up or service.  I was ready to sign that day, and instead am leaving them the poor review they deserve.

They did honor my friend's appointment but conveniently forgot the $200 off he won at the home show until he reminded them and also had to show them the work order.  Even with that factored in their prices were about $300 higher than the two other vendors at the home show for the exact same product.

Steve showed up to give me an estimate and it turned out he was ready to do the job right there and then because he had already stopped to get a part that he knew he would need based off of my initial conversation with the appointment setter. They are thorough with their questions and also their work. It took just under two hours to do what it would have taken anyone else all day. My house is over a hundred years old and needed a seasoned professional. That's exactly what I got!!! I feel extremely lucky to have found them and am now a loyal customer....

I did a search yesterday for a good HVAC company for my air conditioning that started leaking wildly at the end of the season last year. It still worked but my basement was covered in water. I spent the winter, terrified, worried that I'd get a bad company as well as afraid that it would be scarily expensive. I was especially worried because I count on a cool home in the summer. I contacted a few companies that had good reviews but somehow was led to Absolute. Brooke answered their phone and was vibrant and kind and professional. She was able to make an appointment for me for today(!) at a time that worked really well for me. Of course I was still nervous because that's how I roll- and we all know that anything could happen, reality-wise. Isaac showed up right on time, ready to put booties on to protect my floors and was as totally nice and professional as a human could possibly be! He immediately put me at ease and got to his diagnosis. He already had a pretty good idea what the problem was! He did a test that confirmed his suspicions and then showed me on his iPad what my choices were for the fix as well as options for a more ongoing plan that included the all-important furnace cleaning and a 2 times a year visit to make sure the AC and the heat were in tip top shape. All three options were affordable and reasonable in their scope. Honestly, I was so impressed with Isaac as well the great communication with Brooke that I went for the long-term plan. It's such a relief to know a company with awesome service providers like Isaac! I am so happy to be a member of their great affordable service going forward. I have never dealt with a company that really goes the extra mile for their customers like Absolute does. I'm so impressed with them. I'll always call them and never worry ever again about HVAC stuff! OH! AND they have electrical people, too! Tomorrow I have an appointment with Mike who will help me with an outlet that has worried me for awhile! My electrical and HVAC worries are over! I'm so happy! More! And Mike just left after doing great work on an outlet that needed love. He not only knew his stuff but his great energy made the visit even more amazing. I've had issues over the years with workmen in my house which often keeps me from hiring people when work on my house is needed. Mike today (and Isaac yesterday) have put all those hesitations to rest. I'm so happy to have found this amazing qualified company- especially because of the kind, respectful service providers like Mike!

Absolute Electrical was great to work with.  They were fast with a response to come out and do an estimate (24 hours) and we had the worked scheduled for a couple of days later.  Project was completed on time, at cost, and they cleaned up all materials/debris.  Really pleased with also the referral program, collateral they left behind to share with others.  Will absolutely use them for all of my electrical work going forward.  They also had Covid safe policies and practices in place, so no issue.  Very professional firm.

We needed a dryer plug replaced. Absolute Electrical was on our realtor's preferred vendor list, and we couldn't be more pleased with the scheduling process (next day) and our tech, Hector Montoya. Hector arrived within the estimated timeframe given. He is very personable and knows his stuff, obviously, as he replaced the plug quickly and accurately, and...for a very reasonable price. Purchased a home with aluminum wiring throughout and an old panel. Met with Steve and made a plan to pigtail the outlets, install GFCI outlets in the bathrooms/kitchen, and upgrade the main panel. His crew arrived on-time and worked diligently all day. At the end of the day, Steve came out to ensure the job was completed and done to our satisfaction but they had not completed all of the work. He wanted his crew to stay and finish the job but due to most having previous commitments, they were unable to and we scheduled a time for the work to be completed.

I inspected the home and found several outlets that they had missed and one that they had mis-wired resulting in my microwave being fried. Steve was very apologetic for the mistake, took full responsibility, paid for a replacement microwave, completed the remaining work himself, and let me know the new technician who had mis-wired the outlet and missed others was no longer working for them. He also added an additional outlet in a spot I requested at no charge as a token of goodwill for the issues.

All in all a great experience - sometimes jobs take longer than anticipated and sometimes new team members make mistakes and Steve did everything in his power to make it right. Their prices were reasonable, in the end, the work was done right, and the customer service was great. Will use again if I ever need more electrical services.

Well I didn't want to be rude, so I didn't ask questions. The lights in my room went out so I called Absolute electric. The guy came looked at the breaker box, went upstairs opened an outlet separated some wires and then charged me $470 for just looking at one outlet. I was surprised by the price and such simple work would cost so much. I called around and find out that I could have gotten the same service for $100. Never calling this place again and definitely would not recommend it to anyone. Ripped off.

This could have been a great review for Absolute but I will probably not use them again.  Let me start with the good.  Our AC stopped working and I was out of town so I couldn't fix it myself.  I called several other service providers and most were telling me it would be mid-to late July before they could get to it - so a month without AC.  Absolute said they could get someone out in a couple days.  Everything up to the end of the appointment was brilliant.  The  were great with the communication.  The service tech was great.  I had told them before they came I suspected it was the condenser fan or probably just the capacitor.  He quickly came to the same conclusion.  The service didn't take long, capacitor changed and pressures checked out ok. GREAT!  Then we got the bill.  It was $99 for the emergency call.  Ok, we never discussed it as an emergency call but given when others said they could get there, it was fine.  It was the $409 to change the capacity that I choked on.  I think they think their customers dont know how much these parts cost - if they gave more than $3 for it I would have been surprised.  So, a few minutes to confirm our diagnosis and a few more minutes to change the capacitor and we were charged $409 to replace very easy to replace $3 part.  So, all in it was $508 to change out a $3 part.  No business I have been would ever think of making this kind of charge.  My brother works as an HVAC guy in Florida for 30 years and I asked him about the charge, he said it was outrageous.  Unless they are paying their techs $350/hour we were swindled.

We've lived in our first home for 5 years now. During the original inspection we knew the furnace wasn't installed properly and that the electrical panel was in dire need of an upgrade. Our inspector said we needed to address these issues in about 5 years. So it wasn't a big surprise to us when it came time to reinforce some of the most important infrastructure in our home this year. We've also been without central air conditioning, which has not been pleasant. We've done what we can over the last 5 years, but our house heats up very easily in the summer months, and the window units will only keep you from dying of heat stroke- by no means have they kept us comfortable. Under the current circumstances, in the world we live in now, both of us are now working from home, so we decided we'd bite the bullet and get things rolling. We knew there were a lot of options as far as local companies, or going through a third party like Home Depot or Costco, to get the job done. We did a lot of research and the general consensus, we found, was that it is best to get at least 3 bids from local companies directly. So we picked our favorite three based on reviews and other research. One company didn't even want to come out without us paying an estimate fee of $100. Look, I get there are a lot of shady people out there and that by charging for an estimate weeds out a lot of those people, but that shouldn't be handed down to prospective clients. I do freelance work, and I would never dream of charging someone when I am supposed to be pitching myself to get their business. Another company told us that the electrical panel didn't need to be replaced. Well, we knew that wasn't true, and it was a red flag we were looking for as we knew most companies would be contracting out the electrical work, which Absolute does not. This brings me to Absolute. Our first experience was with Dara. He came to give us an estimate. He showed up with gloves, a mask, and foot protection for our home. We had a two hour appointment window and he was here about 15 minutes before that window began. I want to be clear, I am not complaining about this. This is the sort of service you hope for, but we've all been conditioned to expect someone to show up 5 minutes before that window closes, after the window closes, or not at all. This was not a freak occurrence either. After we went with Absolute the crew was always here early and raring to go to get the job done. So just be aware, if you go with Absolute, they may beat your morning alarm clock! Our other bids took less than 15 minutes to finish their estimate. Dara, at no cost, was in our house for over an hour. He closely inspected our furnace, electrical, and all related areas. He was very thorough and documented everything with notes and photos. Needless to say we went with Absolute. We felt like we were going to get a great team of people working on our home, and that's exactly what we got. We had Jesse, Kenny Sr, and Kenny Jr on the Electrical, and Collin and Laine (and others-sorry I didn't remember everyone's name) on the AC/Furnace installation. It's been about a month now and we've very much been enjoying our uninterrupted ice cold air conditioning, and have noticed the electrical in our home is rock solid, as we have been stress testing it here and there. The AC/Furnace gents did an amazing job building a brace for the furnace in our tri-level crawl space, which was not done with the previous unit. It opened up so much space in there I actually look forward to other projects that require crawl space installation because now I can get in there with ease. Even our plumbers, who came a week or so later to replace our outdoor faucets, and needed access to the crawl space, complimented the work down there. One of them said, and I quote, They did you right. I don't feel like anyone on this team cut any corners whatsoever. They did what they had to do to deliver a quality product and experience for us, which is all we expected and hoped for. In fact, I can confidently say that everyone had a sense of exceeding expectations. I get the feeling that is something that comes from the top, and let me just say it is greatly appreciated, and rare. We also had interactions with Michele, Brooke, and Louis from their home-base, and everyone was extremely polite, helpful, professional, and acted with a sense of urgency and dedication rarely found in ANY business these days. So, we thank you all sincerely, and look forward to our partnership in the coming years. Thank you.

I couldn't even get to the point of using this company because they have an extremely exploitative bidding process. In order to get a bid on a project, even a simple one like installing a single coaxial cable through a wall, they require a $49 fee to have someone come out to put together a bid. The $49 fee is apparently refunded *IF* you select their company to do the work. Buyer beware - this creates a negative incentive process for them to give fairly priced bids because prospective customers will have already sunk nearly $50 into this company before knowing what their project will cost. This company is running on principles of unfettered exploitative capitalism at its worst!

We contracted with Absolute Electric Heating and Air for pig tailing and a new box in 2019.  They provided a competitive bid for the work, met all agreed upon timelines, and provided friendly service throughout.  Great experience.  A year later, we needed a letter stating that they had completed the work and sufficiently mitigated poor aluminum to copper connections.  Their customer service team was fantastic to work with, and they provided a letter under a tight timeline.  A+ work and service.  Highly recommend.

I'm so happy we purchased the service plan from this company.  Their customer service is outstanding.  Yesterday we had Eric Scharrer out to do the inspection and cleaning on our furnace.  Before he arrived I received a text and email letting me know he was on his way along with a picture of him.  Eric checked and cleaned the furnace then he took the time to have me come downstairs and go over everything.  He was so kind and patient with all of my question.  He truly educated me on everything.  He showed me some things that the builder had taken short-cuts/ jury-rigged to appear like they were working.  After living in our house for 5 years I had no clue of the issues he showed me.  Since they weren't any safety issues he told me I didn't need to have them repair but did give me the information and the approximate cost if I wanted to correct the issue.  He wasn't pushing products or repairs that weren't necessary.  I truly appreciate knowing I have a company and technicians I can trust.  I will be requesting Eric next time!!  What a breath of fresh air.

Steve Schartz came out Mid March to complete some electrical work, which was done  professionally and successfully the first time. I didn't think about it then but looking back I am very impressed with how safe and courteous he was even before we officially went into Social Distancing restrictions. He put plastic down to protect our surfaces and wore a mask even then. If you need any emergency  or essential work during these times I would  highly recommend Steve. He is top notch in his craftsmanship, knowledgeable, fair, beyond nice, and safe beyond measure.

After waking up on a cold morning with no heat, you are a little desperate. After 2 unsuccessful calls to other heating and air companies, you are way past that. One outreach to this company and within an hour they were at my door. Andrew and Isaac were top notch. They had our furnace up and running quickly, but were also careful to investigate potential causes. The office staff were also fantastic. They followed up at every step of the process. I can't recommend this company highly enough!

Hector is awesome!  We live in an old home that has a lot of electrical issues.  We had Hector come out to install a plug behind our stove and to replace the wiring to the garage.  He was fast and did a great job.  He also noticed that the garage and basement were on the same breaker, so he split that and updated the wiring so that it was no longer on one.  He went above and beyond on fixing that issue.  Absolute Electric was quick about sending an electrician out, and Hector was able to do the work the next day.  We appreciate the quick, friendly and efficient service.  

We had 2 electricians out to our place to bid on the work before Absolute Electric, and both told me that I needed a new panel ASAP (to the tune of $7K)- at that price we would not have been able to get the work done.  Hector said that we would need to replace the panel down the road, but it was not a necessity right now.  Thank you Hector for not over bidding the scope of work.  When we do get the panel replaced, we will call you.

Came home from work to no heat with a 21 month old baby. It seemed as though the electrical system was the problem. Several appliances with electrical fire smell. Called Absolute to come after hours because we weren't sure it was safe to spend the night in the house. I was told they could send a technician to assess the problem for $199. The guy walked around the house, asked a bunch of questions. He said he wanted to see the breaker box because that would give him a lot of valuable information. He told us it would be an additional $600+ just to go run a diagnostic on the breaker box. We felt we had no choice but to pay because we have a baby in the house. The technician and my husband went outside. He connected a small devise to the breaker box, and determined there was nothing he could do. It was an Xcel problem. Bottom line. We were charged almost $900 for This guy to ask a few questions and tell us it wasn't his problem to fix. Seriously?!
Some of the money was returned to us after we complained, but still paid $500+ for a technician to spend less than hour, and tell us we had to contact the power company.
I suspect, with all the years of experience he claimed to have, he had an idea of the problem before he went outside for an additional $600. We felt robbed.

We recently had a new furnace, AC unit, and Quiet Cool fan installed in our house, and could not be happier with the experience! Isaac gave us great information and was very responsive and professional in setting us up. Everyone who came during the install was prompt, friendly, efficient, and professional. In particular, Isaiah who installed our Quiet Cool, was the epitome of professionalism. He went above and beyond to provide outstanding service, even discovering problems with the electrical power to our smoke detectors that we did not know existed and going the extra mile to fix those problems while installing a high quality product. He communicated with us every step of the way to make sure all our needs were met and was extremely knowledgeable and kind.  We can't recommend Absolute Electric, Heating, and Air highly enough!!

Hector from absolute electrical heating and air had arrived on time. He was professional and honest about the repairs. We added one more area last minute where the lights were not working. He fixed everything properly. He was very thorough and helpful. He answered all our questions patiently. We would definitely recommend this company. My experience from scheduling the service till it was done was really great. We had hired other electric companies in the past and this was the best experience.

Hector came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and determined the best resolution without having to replace the entire electrical box panel. I had recieved several incorrect recommendations from the local Big Box store. I'm glad we chose Absolute,  and Hector,  to fix the problem and help us rest at night knowing our house is safe and not at risk of fire. I'll recommend and use them again if I  have any electrical issues.

Great work from Casey- I hired Absolute Electric and Casey came out for both the estimate and work. I needed 4 electrical outlets installed, 3 of them outside. Great work, professional quality by a licensed electrician. I'd recommend them as I know it's hard to determine which contractor to hire to work in your house. I'd also hire them again to come out for additional work- they do it right!  They went above and beyond the call for duty here.

Steve Pacheco with Absolute Electrical Services came out to check my remote operating ceiling fans on my 3rd floor. He was on time and very professional - and instilled that sense of competence. As a Master Electrician of 21 years - he could diagnose the problem - without charging me an arm and a leg! I was a little embarrassed because of how easy the fix was - but he was kind enough to explain it away... I will definitely contact this company in the future for my electrical needs! In addition, Nicole and Michael (Office Managers) schedule and provide updates to let you know when the technician will arrive. Just a very professional operation all around!

I have dealt with other electrical companies in the past.  But by far, Absolute Electrical Services is the best company I have ever worked with.  From the start, I spoke with Melinda, who was extremely courteous, polite and professional.  She sent Brian Eads to give me an estimate on an electric work.  I was shock on how quickly he came to provide an estimate.  He analyzed the electrical panel at my business and discovered that the panel was old and extremely dangerous.  I immediately contacted the landlord and got his approval for the replacement.  Thereafter, I called AES and spoke with Crystal who set up an appointment within couple of days.  She already knew that this job needed an immediate attention.  Crystal contacted Brian directly to make sure the appointment was set which I greatly appreciated.  She was also courteous and professional and made the process easy.  The most unbelieveable part about all this is that, I own a liquor store that operates from 8:00 AM to midnight - 7 days a week, and Brian did not want to disturb the business hours and offered to start work at 4:00 AM.  Yes, 4:00 AM... WoW.  I don't know any company that offers such services at 4:00 AM.  So, at 4:00 AM, he arrived and got the job done.  Unbelievable!!!  More companies need to learn from AES.  This is what Customer Service is all about...  Started with Melinda, then Crystal, and ended with Brian.  These three people deserves Customer Service Award of the Year.  Thank you so much.  Don't ever change.  Keep it up.  Great company... Now, I know who to call for any electrical work... AES!

Steve Schartz with AES came out to my home to install two florescent lights and a 220v outlet in the garage. I wasn't sure which receptical I would need for the equipment I planned to use on the 220v outlet, Steve said to give him a call if I needed something different. He stood by his word when I did need a different receptical and swapped them out. Quick, complete, and profession services provided by Steve. Will go to AES first the next time I need service.

We had an issue with our 25 year old furnace, and included Absolute in our bidding process. We reviewed the YELP pages, and requested information. We were given an appt that day, and were pleased with their responses for updating the techs arrival. We were informed of the options, and all within an hours time, was educated to the varieties of technologies available for our home and reviewed cost, timing, and value for the services. Isaac was the very informed tech they sent out; he arrived on time, and wasted none of ours to get the information we sought. Courteous and professional was the presentation/assessment, and never drove the obligated feeling the whole interview. We were pleased with the handling of our declined response, as the business is very competitive, and we decided on an alternate option, they were very positively responsive to this, and requested we keep them in mind for future requests for services. WE will. Highly recommended for any quotes for services, and if you are looking for competitive bids, they qualify just on the customer service element alone.

During the middle of a small kitchen remodel most of my outlets and lights stopped working. I exhausted the extent of my knowledge and was still unable to fix the issue. I contacted Absolute Electrical on a Sunday morning and let them know what was going on. Early Monday morning I was contacted and shortly there after Louis showed up. He was very professional and did not waste any time pinpointing the problem and taking care of it. Most importantly, their prices are very reasonable from a homeowners standpoint. In the future I will definitely be using Absolute for my electrical needs.

I hired Absolute Electrical Services to replace some outdoor lighting at my bank branch in Lafayette.  Not only did AES do the work at a fair price, they were extremely professional and worked hard to accommodate the schedule my bank was open, as the lighting they were replacing was in the drive up lanes.  I am extremely happy with AES and would highly recommend them to any business or consumer looking for any sort of electrical work.

Following my instinct saved me at least $630.  I called the company and specified I needed my outdoor store sign looked at because it stopped working.  It's 18 feet off the ground.  The technician showed up with a 6 ft ladder and a 10 ft ladder.  After looking for about 15 minutes, he starts putting together an estimate, which rings up to $630 on top of the $89 visit to come out.  He gave no confidence that it would stop at that, there would most likely be parts cost on top of that.  I sent him off because my instinct just said that with the sign being less than a year old, and the original electrical wiring cost was less than that.  Two weeks later I got another company to come out.  The sign's switch was flipped to the off position, visible from the ground (probably done by rain or hail).  The company that came out didn't charge me for the visit.

They give you a time window of arrival  and follow up with a text when the technician is on their way. George, was early, checked out every possible reason for the power outage, which was far more involved than we had realized. He reviewed everything with me, gave me the bids & finished the job.

Make sure you know what you are paying for - I emailed them twice about what they charged for a simple troubleshooting job and they kept telling me a $49 dispatch fee and they will do pricing on the job site. I should have hesitant with the non-disclosure but I found an online special to waive this fee & read the good reviews and chose them out from the other offers as I expected with such a simple job it wouldn't be that expensive - maybe $100-$200. It was a simple troubleshoot - took about 30 min of work to find out why an outlet wasn't working. Ending up charging me $470 for half an hour of simple testing. I feel very shafted. When I called to discuss why it was that price they gave me $50 back but I still feel taken advantage of at this overall cost. They charge by the job, not the hour, which may sound good up-front, but is not so good when the job is easy as can be for them and they charge you what most electricians would charge for a 3+ hour job. Nice people, horrible pricing for simple electrical tasks. Don't be me & avoid for simple troubleshoot jobs.

Steve come by to do some electrical work in my house. I was afraid it was going to be a big job but it turned out it was a light fixture that burned out. Steve was awesome!! He was very thorough and made sure there were no major issues. He was extremely professional, friendly, cleaned up after himself and even took off his shoes without me asking! He explained everything and kept it simple for me to understand because I know nothing about this type of work. He is trustworthy, so personable and pleasant to talk to. I would HIGHLY recommend Steve again for any electrical work you need done. He has 40 years experience which says a lot. He knows what he is doing! Thanks Steve! :-)

I needed to have my electric service/outlet for my stove changed from 220 to 120. AES was out here same day with a competitive price quote and completed work. David was our electrician and he was professional, courteous, clean, thorough and speedy- all good things. I'd highly recommend this company as my experience was excellent.

I just had a service tech intentionally try to run me off the road on i70 and Chambers near the road construction. He cut me off and I had to swerve into the left lane to avoid being hit. Fortunately there wasn't another car in that lane. Then he aggressively got right up behind me and followed extremely close until I had to brake. Finally he passed me on the left and menacingly crossed over into my lane, inches away from hitting me. I had my 4 year old daughter with me and was taking her for her annual checkup at the children's hospital in Aurora. This is completely unacceptable behavior and there is no excuse. This tech endangered the life of a small child and disciplinary action needs to be taken immediately to ensure that he or she is not allowed to continue driving for this company. I called in and reported the driver and the receptionist said she would pass this information along to the owner. But I wanted others to see what this company represents and realize that when you utilize their services you are putting a child's life in danger. The fact that they don't even care about safety on the highway makes me question how seriously they take the safety in your home. Integrity, safety and professionalism should be the foundation of any company you choose to hire. If you are in need of an electrician who takes safety seriously feel free to contact me and I'd be more than happy to refer you to them.  As a homeowner, property manager and parent I will not be considering this company for future skilled labor. Be careful out there!
