King Electric has been operating in the Northern Colorado area since 2010. The owner, Fabian Flores, has 14 years of experience in the industry. The company has risen in popularity with its word of mouth referrals and repeat customer satisfaction. The company has grown into a thriving business and earned an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, holding its accreditation since 2011. Since its inauguration, King Electric, has held the goal of providing the best electrical service possible in a timely manner and at competitive rates. ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER


Business owner, husband, and father of two, Fabian Flores has honed his craft for the past 14 years. He earned the title Master Electrician and has worked in various locations. While King Electric is based in Colorado, Fabian has worked on projects in Texas, North Dakota, Utah, and  Wyoming. He also boasts overseas experience for oil field contracts. His extensive experience has translated into the successful and growing company of King Electric.

King Electric did a great job for us. We had an on going issue with our track lighting and these guys found and corrected the problem. SO glad! The techs we quick and really knew what they were doing. We highly recommend King Electric, they were great.

I first met Fabian Flores of King Electric in 2011 when he fried two $60, 110 wall mount, electrical heaters by hooking them up to 220. He had to have flipped the 220 breaker to do so to keep from getting jolted when he installed them. They glowed red, smoked and the breaker flipped every time they were turned on. They could have burned down my duplex. I ran across him again in 2016 when he installed a new dryer service without securing the flexible conduit and leaving the dead box for a property owner whose rental I manage. The same day, two other circuits in the house quit working because he did not tighten the feed in the box. Just as in my job, he made a good first impression-  followed by substandard work, months of call dodging, excuse making, whining, denying, and then all day adolescent flame war texting verbal abuse. Avoid this contractor!

I've used King Electric several times in the past, but I certainly will not use them ever again.  I hired Fabian (owner) to install new dryer and range outlets at my rental property November 2015.  Immediately after the work was completed my renters reported the stairwell light was not working, and the range hood light and fan were only working intermittently.  I contacted Fabian to let him know of the problems and my concern about the range vent being a possible fire hazard.  Fabian said he'd check it out.  By the first of December I had yet to hear from Fabian, so I called him again.  We discussed when he was going to come fix the problems that occurred during his last visit, and I also brought to his attention the old dryer outlet hadn't been removed and was left hanging against the wall and it needed to be removed. He was surprised and upset it hadn't been removed.  He agreed to come back and said he'd take care of it.  Several attempts over the next several months to speak to Fabian were futile.  End of May and Fabian still has not made the necessary repairs.  After a well deserved stern conversation with him from myself, he finally showed up.  Afterwards he contacted my property managers and was belligerent and claimed the light switches had been wired wrong, however, if this were the case they wouldn't have ever been working to begin with.  He did nothing to resolve the range hood, and denied the old dryer outlet was still intact, despite the photographs we have to the contrary.  Fabian repeatedly verbally abused my property manager, and claimed he did not want my business or my property managers business (who have over 20 rental properties of their own, and have used Fabian for many years) any longer.  I've always paid my bills to Fabian promptly and in full, so if this is the sort of business he doesn't want, I'll find someone deserving of my loyalty and who appreciates good, respectful customers willing and able to pay their bills promptly!
